(02:44):
a rival Companies award in his.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Office, and one of our competitors in that category is
interns on. But I think he wins enough.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So it's our time. It's fine, it's our time.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
It's our time.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
It's my way, my way or the highway, as some
people would say, it's our turn. It's our turn. Yeah,
vote as much as you can get your friends to
vote too, and we just yeah, it'd be cool just
to have a plaque and then something else. We'll talk
about that on Monday, Kevin, I'll talk about that on Monday.
Don't worry.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I'm always for cash prizes. Man.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
It's not cash prize. I don't think it is. Just
we might be Yeah, anyway, we only start to podcast
almost giving away start to podcast properly with something we
like to call what shit doing, where we talk about
the shows and movies. We've been watching, games, we've been playing, lies,
we've been living because of this Thursday, Yep boy gets

(03:33):
to go first there, go ahead to point to myself
and then see the camera. That's okay, and I am.
I think I'm in the back half now of Jurassic World. Sorry,
Jurassic World, Camp Cretaceous, Kevin. So they're going back to
the man To Island and we will see what happens
from there. That's all.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I'm happy you stuck with it because you could. You
could have been a good friends. Like I watched this
shut hiving up and then I'm like, yeah, I watched it,
and then it meets me and me I don't forgot
about it. Well, this is no, just tuck it out.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
My question to you is because obviously I'm behind, because
Camp Cretaceous is like the Clone Wars of this franchise,
I guess, uh, And Chaos theory I guess is the
Star Wars Rebels. Does it get a little more adult
in Chaos theory because they age them up a little bit.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Too yet to know?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
And no, like, are we seeing people getting killed finally
or it's still off screen.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
No, you don't get that, but you can get more
adult situations something like that.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
All right, well it was it was. It was a
heartfelt moment when the the weird horned dinosaurs were covering
up the Grandma dinosaur to protect them from a predator.
It was like they know they care for their grandma.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
And camp critatious. Something is hinted at and then a
chaos they show it. Well, yeah, this's happened, and.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
This might be a spoiler. Oh this is a spoiler.
Could but you've seen it, you Kevin have seen it.
You listening to people haven't seen it. Potentially, Well, I
guess i'll put the spoiler ward in. Dotson come in.
But this still takes place before Jurassic World. Dominion, yes
it does, or falling with whatever. The second one was, I.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Believe quotations will end with the end of a.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Fallen king Kingdom. That's why. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Yeah, so when you're still on Panther with Draassic World
and fallen Kingdom and once you watch Chaos, the care
stories pretty much in line with Dominion.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, because I was like, well he's that because the
thing like, because me watching it now I'm like, well,
like Dominion came out and the Dodson name wasn't really
till then, but this season probably came out after Dominion
or around when Dominion come out, Right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
I thought they did. And also they kind of like
start teeing things up a little bit at the end
of it, because again those released time last day, they
knew what they were doing in movies and like, hey,
do the show a little bit energy?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Not all the way, yes, but it is fun because
seeing like people doing Universal our little Park blog influencers,
They're going to the Jurassic Park side. I'm like, oh,
I know those things. Now we're talking about like, oh,
here's some camp Gretaceous or some chaos theory merch. I'm like,
I know what that is.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Now. I kind of wish they would just scrap everything.
Durastic Park and Universal Studios moved to Epic Epic Universe.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
We'll find out because I know, I mean, this is
a side tangent. But mister Eric v asked me, was like, so,
what do you do with the Marvel area. I'm like,
they can't ever update it, but you know, they do
want to do the Wicked area, so or the os area,
so we'll see what happens in the near future.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Awestly really cool. I mean I've already envisioned Wicked the
she was here it every day. The flying gravity could
be actually theme roller coaster.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
You fly vertically and you're like, ah, called a.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Dive coaster, and a dive coaster is it's one of
you see what they're like three roads but like really wide,
and that's what those ones. One of the ms that
they always go up and before they go over the hill,
they pause and then they go down.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
And he goes ah, then you fall down. You're just
hearing that on repeat every two minutes.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
It's so easy to do. Just do it. It's like
right there.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah. But yeah, So that's been fun. Obviously been playing
more Indiana Jones. That's just it's been a good time.
It is funny, just like normally you can tell how
popular a game is based on like oh guides and
cheats and Easter egg videos, and Ian and Jones doesn't
have a lot of that, which is wild the thing
because it the originally came out what in November. Uh So,
but it's a fun time. I just like being at

(07:30):
the universe. I definitely want to watch the movies next
time I have more doesn't want to watch them, So
I got to figure out a single Andrew Hoodie night
to watch those movies.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Actually, one of the things that brought me and least
together when you first I did was heard left Adiana Jones.
I was like, oh shoo, I have another.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Girl, Hendre, you go I love and behold little Did
you know Harry Potter would would change everything for your family?

Speaker 2 (07:51):
And actually, back back in the time, this is still
a thing. Herriington on my phone was Indiana Jones for
a long time.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
It probably still is. You just probably haven't turned on
the ringtone my phone.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
No, Actually I had an one yesterday driving down to Virginia.
We'll hang out with you guys. Because I'm showing YouTube
on my phone. I can't I can't get alert off.
It's on the vibrate. So I had it on and
I had my text, my text message for the first
time in like three years, I forgot I had the
PS one startup sound. That's my text message ringtone.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
And you're like, oh, very annoying. It's so long U.
And then just last thing for me, it is wildly
enough my anniversary this weekend, so that's awesome. Uh, this
time one year ago was my last real work day
as this podcast recording. And then obviously that pre wedding

(08:41):
shuffle happened where you need to take the two days
off before your wedding to get things done. My brother's
fiance is having her bridal shower this weekend, so we're
going to Virginia Beach. We're gonna stay at a haunted hotel,
which is fun but it's expensive, so it'll be fun too,
and she canna have a good time. It'll be fun.
And and uh, my gift is in Virginia Beach and Kevin,

(09:02):
I am excited because she's definitely not beating me this
year at the anniversary gifts.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Well we should you say, you said you should get
in two gifts, so you get a gift from her
and a gift from your brother for the best man gift,
but not the grim party.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Yes, it's a bridal shower, so it's just it's mine
was everybody. This one's just females, which is totally fine.
Just each room. That's what you do. Uh and uh, yeah,
I'm excited. And Monday will report how it went. All good.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You bring your salt put around your bed at night,
so they can't get.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
You can't get me. That's which is Kevin. But sure
we'll go to be haunted.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
That's true too. That's true, Kevin. There is a witch
Duck Road in Virginia Beach. But Kevin, what you been doing? Good, sir?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
H Actually that's funny to say that, because now I
remember the chaos at this time last year, getting off
the cruise and praying to God to that flight was on.
He was going to kill me.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Rough turnaround for Kevin, Rough turnround.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
I was going through our reels the other day and
I found a real old, really dated o YouTube short
that we did to say that I'm ten for ten
on flights. Now I am fifteen for fifteen, never had
a late flight, never had the cancelations. I'm good now.
But yeah, remember this year, the time last year, we're
getting off the Disney cruise boat and going to Virginian
for a wedding, and I'm like, wow, it's been a year.

(10:21):
Happy for you guys.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
We made it a year, and we get my ca
I get that piece of cake on Sunday. Baby, It's
not gonna be good. I think it'll be good. It'll
hold up still all right?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah, I remember the wedding photos you guys showed me.
I was just laughing, like, wow, I'm really short compared
to the rest of it.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Well, it is funny because, like I went through some
wedding photos just to get ready for that Instagram post,
and I'm like, oh man, Kevin was funny, Like all
these funny moments, I'm like, I completely forgot about. I'm like, hell, yeah,
well I was.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I was. I mean, I don't have much one on
in't see movie guys today whatever I'm talking about this.
I remember that weekend as being some never I was
gonna screw something up. God, because whenever I'm been to
somebody's wedding almost everything, like, I'm not gonna be the
one that schoos anything. So I'm gonna be as just
as positive and jovial as I can. And it was
just a good by with your wedding last year. I
remember it was just a really good energy. It was
just so much fun.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah. I don't think we'll post the wedding video just
because like it's weird nowadays in twenty twenty or five now,
but back even back then, is if you wanted a
TikTok version of your wedding video that would cost you
two hundred dollars more. And that's like most most videographers
are like that. It's like bruh, I can edit that myself,
but let me try and do this thing over here,

(11:33):
save two hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
I also remember the adventure of getting getting the suits
the tux for your wedding cause I never have never
used a by mail tux service, so it was like,
why do people do this so easy?

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, well, we're doing Men's warehouse for John's wedding, so
I gotta go get fitted this weekend. Like, do not
want to know that number? Just don't even tell me
the number, just get just take it and go.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I had a cheek o for my wedding because, uh
again the number where I was like, once I picked
out all my suit what I wanted for my suit,
I was like, oh, that's a big number. But then
that I said, if you get ten grooms man.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Oh yeah yeah yeah, now it's six, So they lowered
it now, So that's why I want one thing.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Showed it on here. What do you see that? My
brother party was huge because of me.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I needed that suit. Damn it. I needed a new suit.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
But I'm happy for you. Guys made it the year
and maybe more to come. Me and the Lsia will
be eleven years in July. Hell yeah, yeah, crazy. The
thing I wish I had met you a year earlier.
He could come into my wedding. Man, this sucks.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Next time, I'm never never happened a little bit. No
next time, No, next time, No next time.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
When you're when you're five years and we're fifteen, we'll
do it like I think a double wedding on a
beach somewhere doesn't do.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
That double wedding, double double val There you go, ye,
do it of anything else.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Think about think about Hood's wedding. That's what I've been doing.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Anything else. Know you're good now, I'm good, perfectly big
because we have to do some birthday tax because it
is Nintendo Mike's birthday today. Maybe so happy birthday somewhere
somewhere where is it? He'll find it all right? Cool,
but it Isn'tenda Mike's birthday today. Happy birthday. We appreciate

(13:17):
you supporting us, following us, giving us all the Destiny
to tips. That's still irrelevant because Destiny two is still alive.
You know it's still around. He's legal.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
I can vote twenty eighteen A good.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Jime intending my gradeteen. Yeah, but let this be hopefully
a weekend where you can play all the games you want,
maybe try something different such Destiny. You know, you know,
you know, eat all the candy, eat all the birthday
stuff because it's a birthday weekend, so it's a good
birthday Thursdays. I know people like frown upon it, but
I'm like, take Friday off. You got a good ass birthday,

(13:50):
Like work on your birthday and then take it off.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
After I took off the Friday, and then Saturday with WrestleMania,
and then that's off. Monday, it was we weekend.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, play Claire Obscura Expedition thirty three. That's like perfect
to play that this week.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
That's all the rage. You know, I transted that didn't
even realize it.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Will you know you're doing it. We'll get an updated
on that next week. Don't worry because now we're like, well,
we'll wait till middle of May because then we're officially
like halfway through the year. Yeah, until the switch comes out,
there's like nothing through this month. That's okay, Actually that's okay,
But Kevin, let's get on into it because we do
have a jam pack show. It's time for the news

(14:29):
time no news, and first things first, you good, Kevin. Okay,
just Cody, just say whoa. We will train Cody too
to do the intro and that's okay to do that
one day. One day, we'll get that. But we got
to talk about and do Or season two episodes four

(14:50):
through six, So let's break it down. So what we're
gonna do for this batch of and Or episodes, because
we do have to talk about Thunderbolt, is we're gonna
pretty much just talk about the three episodes overall as
an arc, because I think that's what you kind of
gotta view it as it makes a little bit more

(15:12):
tangible to watch all of it instead of like I
gotta watch three separate episodes versus I gotta watch new arc.
You know, that's a.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Good word for it, because I watched the Ark in
two pieces. I watched the first two and I watched
the last one today, so I don't watch them back
to back.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Yeah, I did the same thing. I think that's how
you break it up, and that's what we're doing and
Or on Thursdays now, just because like three hours of
TV before podcasts, like I am burnt on the show
right now for four hours of talking about it.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Yeah, I've watched a lot of YouTube reviews about because
some of the things went over my head. I'm okay,
I gotta I gotta go watch New rock Stars video.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
That's okay. But Kevin, what did you think about these
three episodes overall? You still vibe them with and or
you're kind of like a little too serious.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
I like the first one. The second one was a
bit of a slog for me towards the end, till
the end when Forreth Whittaker got high what we're doing.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
It on his own supply maybe that radonium.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
And then the third one was good, but I didn't
feel the tense as much as I wanted to. The
heights going on, Yeah, like I should feel like I'm
just like okay, Well, I.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Think more most of that pressure too, And this is
spoiler because we're just gonna talk about overall the pressure
was more on getting the bug out of that party
more than on the actual heist, because that was great,
and I've been appreciating that this arc really is set
up like all right, what's Cyril doing? In season two,
he actually has a purpose where he's being undercover looking

(16:45):
like a failure to his mom, which is easy to expect,
but he's actually undercover for the ISB, so he's like
living out his dream. I know. I think it was
an episode five he's like, can I just say this
that biggest day of my life to Tetra, you know,
because honestly, I will say this, The Cereal and his
mother drama was kind of and of course and or

(17:05):
it's kind of what got me through these three episodes
because I found it would be a bit just a
bit just I hate say boring.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I'm trying to pay attention to it was going on,
and I like it, but I'm just like, can something happen?
Because you know, but Game of Thrones there's a lot
of there are a lot of scenes where it's just
people talking and you're a throng. I don't feel that
with indoors sometimes, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (17:27):
And you do you think it is a lot of
it is like you don't know what, well, what planets
are we talking about? And what you know? Who is
that rebel group and all that good stuff? Or is
it just like they haven't done enough to be like, yeah,
like this is great, we're getting building towards this point.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
You know, it could be a little a little column bee.
It also could be since it's the Empire, the Empire,
or just they're just stale. Like I mean, you've been
you've been in to Galty's Edge and inside inside the base.
When you're going on Council Rise resistance, resistance, they're stale.
People Like even when they talk to each others in

(18:03):
they're stale. So I feel like sometimes that stalness kind
of takes over a bit for me for some reason.
Whereas when it's like you know, Little Finger and Ned
going back to back, little Fingers being flamboyant and it's
being you know.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
I think also it is like, you know, the motivations
that are happened like kind of with that, Whereas like
Game of Thrones, we didn't read the book, so like
we don't know Little Fingers going to turn on everybody.
We didn't know spoiler Ned Stark was gonna die at
the end by the first season, you know, Like Whereas
this like I know what we're building too, but like
a point some of the conversations, I get it we're

(18:37):
stalling out. But I do think certain bits have been
picking up in certain bits like Okay, I guess you know, like.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
I didn't enjoy Luthen and what's the Cistans name? Can remember?

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Kila quila Quila? Yeah? Sorry, Claia, there you.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Go, Claia. I ended that back and forth we're talking
about how to get that listen out of it. I
enjoyed that. But some of the stuff with the Black Amorians.
What's the planet called Gorman's Gorman Gormans, I was like, oh,
uh so this, I guess we'll get more in details wise,
this these three episodes were really about a couple of things.

(19:18):
It was Cassian going to help fuel the Gorman Front's
sort of rebellion on Gorman, which we knew from the
first three episodes. Uh, it really was the Empire is
gonna take is going to sort of sabotage Gorman to
sort of self destruct itself a little bit. Uh, And
this is really seeing that you know, Cassian is hand

(19:38):
vel we find out later in these episodes, are going
to help the Gorman rebels sealed from the Empire and
fuel their.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Fire to hopefully start a rebel cell there. But the
isb mainly Dedra and is using Cyril to uh infiltrate
the rebels and be two steps ahead of them even
though they don't. I I thought that was really cool
because we think, you know, the heroes are winning, but
they're not really at all. The sacrifices that happened by

(20:05):
the end of this episode, well guess what you're lose anyway,
Probably on Gorman.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
It wasn't even a sacrifice. It was yeah, that's what
it was.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
It was just he had one role and it wasn't
to bring a gun to this damn thing. And you
brought a gun.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
And nothing to be mad about it, and then that
mad about it in a way I like seriously made
me mad at the characters. Basically when and or total Lutheran.
These guys aren't ready. They're they're they're ready for prime
time theme alone, they'll kill themselves and we'll move on.
We got another way, and then they showed you why it.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Was right there, and I do like, I do like
that this these three episodes are really Gorman really is
set up like a Paris, France, Like you get those
vibes of like there's a cafe. You know, Ciro's wearing
a beret at one point and there and and you
know most the Gormans have like a friend, were actually
French actors, so like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
I read that they were speaking a mix of French
and German. Yeah, sound like something unique.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
And I think that's really cool because it like makes
it more relatable. You know, last week's arc was really
about like immigration and undocumented workers, that sort of realness
to it, and this was that or the French stuff
was the realness of this time, Like oh man, like
that stuff happened during World War two and worl War one,
but we don't really know about it unless you played
Call of Duty one that which was like about those

(21:23):
certain things, you know, the Medal of Honor, real throw back. Yeah,
but I do appreciate that. I do appreciate that, like
they're putting those lenses through Star Wars. I know some
people were like, it's too serious, and I don't like
these certain things in my Star Wars, but I think
it's cool.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Well, I will say to you that I watched a
video from somebody who's seen the whole series. He said
that this's his least favorite arc. Say, his favorite arcs
actually were the next one. We're about to get. So
next week's the last one, the first one, then this one.
So I'm hopeful that the next two weeks is actually
going to be like, oh my gosh, what's what what's
going on? And I'll get that as my feeling. I

(21:59):
get watched this dialogue even thrown with and Ors. Yeah,
I'm excited to see what happens next.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Aaron gles did ask in the chat twitch dot tv
slash if an underscore pods, you can't to any questions
you want. When does Andord take place? It does take place,
like keV you answered him before Rogue one. The cool
thing is every week has been a year up to
Rogue one. In case he didn't know, Star Wars is
in a BCAC time, you know, before christ After it's

(22:25):
before the Battle of Yavin, Yeah, after Battle of Yavn.
So it starts off, or at least this season starts
off with four bby. This arc was three bby, and
then the last episodes will hopefully be like minutes before
Cassion starts Rogue one, his scene by killing that guy
you know.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
And also watching this these first episodes, I kind of
hope they won't, but I would love a series of
the Empire's dealings during the rebel battles of the original trilogy,
because the scenes with just the Empire people in their
room planning about what we're gonna do. They talk about
this planet and the silk they have and why they
want it when they want to drill the planet. I

(23:04):
would love an actual, like basically House of Card style
show about the Empire.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Yeah, really really cool. I think you know, there is
the rumor at one point that actually was going to
be a Palpatine series which was going to take place
kind of around the Endoor time. And then there is
rumor now of the Darth Vader series, which depends how
you feel. I personally in the belief of too much
Vader kind of ruins that presence and that aura. But yea,

(23:31):
there is precedent because they're right now the Palpatine line
of books is coming out. And then the Vader comics
have been some of the best Star Wars Vader like
Star Wars comics Marvel's done, and like him going to
Naboo and learning about Padme Dye and all this stuff,
Like it's good ass him killing Wado. There's this cool
as of stuff in it. But I think you got
to balance what you got. And right now we're in

(23:53):
that sort of era of we have we're kind of
wrapping up the Disney Plus shows because we really have.
This is finishing Mando getting turned into a movie, and
then we have the Ahsoka series getting season two kind
of and that's really it. So we'll see what is
next after this. But I do think this show definitely
exploring more of the rebels, each of their cells. And

(24:15):
it was even cool that this arc showed.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
The Papellion saved the Dream.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Sawgerera Uh had a base on the car, which is
the base that's the beginning of the Last Jedi that
the rebels are on an escaping which is dope as hell,
and you're like, oh, connecting points and they would know
that it's a base because at one point Sagrera was there.
We found out, you know what probably caused him to
have to have an oxygen chain all the time because
he didn't have it now, but I assume that Rydonian

(24:43):
is going to go to his head eventually.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
The kids don't smoke.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Don't smoke is what we got this and it is
cool that you know, Luthen's shop has Queen Amidala's head
piece from Phantom Menace without the hair. Yeah, Like it's
really dope to see those little Easter eggs and be
like it would makes sense a collector would from a
queen who died for a queen just take all that

(25:07):
ish because the boo doesn't want it, you know.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
And also too, by the way, I'm wanna shot out
just somebody and the check lagger with him. Can we say,
can we please find a way to canonas Star Killer?
I love that game so much.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
I mean, yeah, force at least, like the closest we
got to it was that Sam wit Where and Hay
and Christison took a photo together at Star Wars celebration
a couple of weeks ago. And obviously we are getting
the mall series, which is animated, and I kind of
count that separate from the live action Star Wars, but
it holds up still, Like we said, animated Star Wars
the best Star Wars. But if they were to do
a Vader series, that that would be something that people

(25:40):
would be like they got like, that'd be the Mephisto
of that Vader series. If they were to do it,
like Star Killer's coming, They're gonna do scar Star Killer, right, no,
we don't.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Do a series and maybe go back to I talk
to a couple weeks ago. Maybe we can just do
a special, A Vader special fifty minutes, one hundred and
ten minutes. Maybe, I mean six sixty ninety sixty seven minutes,
doesn't need to be no eight episodes and just be
here's special in winter, his specil in summer, and that's
that's your made of stuff.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
That way, he still kind of stays special and not
just another person put on team.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
When they could do it in Star Wars Visions if
they really wanted, I wouldn't mind seeing that in in
anime form. But yeah, like I think also last season,
star Killer's evil armor, like at the end I think
of the first game was in Luthen's shop, so like wow,
and people are like, oh, Vader's gonna buy it and
then put it on Star Killer. You know, all this stuff.

(26:35):
But I do think the show's head in great direction
that this was kind of the middle ground. But I
do think the closer we get to actual a new hope,
like I assume we'll be on yav and like we said,
we assume, you know, we've been losing somebody every every arc.
So we lost Brasos, we lost Senta this mark, I

(26:55):
assume we'll probably lose Bix by the end of the show. Unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
The BIGS scene at the end of the episode six
was amazing.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
I love yeah that big Scott Justice, which was dope
on the rebel uh scientist doctor Courtz I believe uh.
And that's how the episode end was. She put him
in then interrogation chair, she left, killed a guy casting him,
blew up the building like hell, yeah, there we go.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Day one's baby.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Yeah. And I think also like Kronick being involved really
mostly in the last episode, like it's just it's kind
of a Vader esque aura with critic that Kranick really
didn't have from Rogue one because it was just like
this was built on my dreams, my project. He was
just a whiny bitch in Rogue one, you know, but
now he's like, I have power. I am on the

(27:40):
level of Tarkin right now, even though you don't see Tarkan.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
So I love the scene with him a joke.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Then he slapped his ass because he said aspirations, I'm
just kidding that didn't have watch Rogue one again. But yeah, uh,
we assume the next arc will lead to the Gorman massacre,
which is a big thing in Star Wars Legends. That
is kind of the triggering point for mon Mathma to
go from senator to just rebel leader, and that's where
we might get some rebel cameos because there is an

(28:13):
episode of Star Wars Rebels I think in season three
that mon Mathma is being escorted out and like smuggled out,
So we'll be interested to see if they hee that
in or anything at all. Oh, we forgot to talk
about the Baylor Goanna recast two happened. Benjamin Bratt from
cat He's more a bunch of stuff, but Cat Woman
he was the main guy, and Catwoman plays baileror Gone

(28:37):
instead of Jimmy Smith's. I know a lot of people
are like they should have just waited for Jimmy Smith's
to be available, but I don't know. Apparently, Tony Gilroy
did say he teased Bailor Goan on this art because
he's gonna be in more of the back arc. So
I think we'll be fine. I think it was smart
to tease it instead of just putting it all out
in front of you.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Fine with it, I mean it's a little different than
like you know that there's new put with Brick and
Morning now you know, but you know, jimmysit's my guy.
You know, he's the guy, and he's in plenty of
Star Wars. Condact can go watch again with the jarring, Yes,
but I'll be I'll be fine. Actually, let me find
out when does Obi one series two?

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Please? Uh?

Speaker 2 (29:17):
We won.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
So Obi Wan takes place nine A B B Y
So they could have waited for Jimmy Spins because Jimmy
Spence did pop up in Kenobi. But I think it's
just because of the year McGregor connection. But that's okay,
it is what it is. It's fine. I mean, hey,
technically he dies in two years anyways, in a New Hope.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Anyway, at it wasn't like you know, he'd say, what
was like ran a white guy.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Yeah, they got Benjamin Brad who very can do that?
Be overall excited. Like I said, Gorman Masakers. Probably next
week we'll see the fall of Gorman and then I
hope the last three is really setting up a new hope.
Let's set up a new hope. Here's all the X
Wing pilot, here's why we have orange jumpsuits. You know
all this good stuff.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah, because the next one should end because Rogue one
starts with him in the alley.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Right yeah, where he gets the info about Galen Or
so yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
So yeah, we're barreling down right there. I mean it's
gonna be great. One day, if I'm home alone, I'm like,
know what, I'm gonna watch all the mandor.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
We spend all day in this.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
It's gonna be great.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
I'll be ready. I'll be ready, baby. And as we
transition out, Aaron Gods did say while we're on Star Wars,
anyone missed Skeleton Crew wouldn't mind the season two. I
wouldn't mind it too. I know we we originally were
going into Skeleton Crew kind of like, oh, this isn't
gonna be that good, but it didn't end up being
pretty good and being another story in between Return of

(30:46):
the Jedi and Force Awakens. That's something that Disney hasn't said.
And I hope that it doesn't go the cancelation round
like The Acolyte, because I feel like that if the
Accolade had gotten that second season, I think it would
have it get it shine just like Clone.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Yeah, and also the story with Drew Law Johna Neil Joanna,
and I would I need closure on that story because
what so you were a Padawan master got killed.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
I wouldn't and I want to put it past. Maybe
in the Mall show as a quick thing kind of
how we got Canaan in the beginning of the Bad Batch.
Maybe they do something like, oh, yeah, that's John and
now not whatever drew laws character and then off later.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
I don't think closure on that whole story. That was
a pretty cool like that. I don't know he's Jedi.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Okay, all right, I see where're going here, Okay, I
appreciate it. But yeah, hopefully we'll find out. Probably, I
mean probably D twenty three is most likely won't hear
it next because they don't. Star Wars usually doesn't do
comic con stuff.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
So yeah, yeah, no, no, no Star Wars comic it's
not really a comic thing. It's more of a sci
fi thing.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
And that's okay. But speaking of Star Wars, Kevin, let's
switch over to about some video games, because we know
Star Wars is getting a whole season in Fortnite starting
tomorrow because of you know, May fourth is on Sunday,
and I will know that forever because also my wedding anniversary,
but I also knew it because of Star Wars Day.
But on top of the Star Wars season starting tomorrow

(32:17):
and it looks dope, you will actually be able to
watch the new anthology series Tales of the Underworld early
tomorrow instead of on Sunday. If you really want to
watch it, you got watching Fortnite.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
That's what I'm doing at work tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
We shouldn't say that we talk about it, but we
finally know that Fortnite's coming back to your iPhone.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Starting next week. Potentially that's actually where I got my
first Fortnite, like playing experience. I've never played the one
acas I want to play it on my phone until
I couldn't no more.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah, I mean, I think this is the smartest thing
it's been I think four years since Fortnite was removed
from the Apple Store because you know, Apple wanted the
money and Epic was like, no, this is our money.
Why do we want to split it with you, like
we have our own in game Epic store. We don't
want to do that. So obviously Apple played hardball. They
removed Fortnite from the App Store and it's been out

(33:05):
for forever. But Hey, I think you know, probably play
on your iPhone isn't the best way to play Fortnite,
but it is a better way to get certain emotes,
like say, Eric and I infamously wanted to get the
Hot to Go, a mote from Fortnite, and we both
forgot because we did we didn't have access to an
Xbox immediately and forgot and didn't get it. But if

(33:26):
I have my iPhone, let me get on over here.
Poo bought and we're good to go, which I think
is what Epic Games is really counting on, and people
buying stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
We've got some breaking crisis.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
What's the source? Kevin w u s A nine in DC. Oh.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Apparently this is the last year for six Flags America.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yes, I actually just saw it before the plodcast started
to Six Flags America is supposed to close this November.
I've never been, but I don't think you're best so much.
But it closed when.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
I was a kid. Actually it was called Wild World.
Then after it's called Wild World, it was called Adventure World.
That it was fun. The six Flass came in, it
hasn't been the same.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Sence, it never been in the same since, but overall
I think you know that sucks for that theme park,
but you got Kings of the fort though.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
When when it was originally released on Iowa West, did
did a lot of those, like you know, mobile game
controllers for phones exist.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
I can't remember they were started to because I think
the biggest thing was it released on iPhone when we
were at E three, the first E three, because then
they had the whole Fortnite both booth and it was
like here's some Chuck jug and here's a there's a
Lama bull ride thing. That was a wild Now that
was a wild time wow. But I think this is smart,
I mean, easiest thing. You'll get money easier from players

(34:44):
people playing on it. Great. You probably won't do too well,
but it's something if you want to get the unlocks
for battle passes a lot easier. Instead of having to
wait to get home and play an Xbox, you can
go the easy missions like visit this place, visit that place,
and collect things like that.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
It would be like me be losing to play a
bill mode and they'll actually fight, that is true.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
I just like build Baby Me and the Lego mode.
I'm good, don't worry about me. I'm over here in
my lego safe zone. Don't go do that anyway. But Kevin,
it's time to talk about the lake. It's time. It's
Vader time. No oh man. If a Vader series happened,

(35:23):
we would play that sound every time we started the show.
Write that down, write that down, Copy right, Penny. But
it's time to start to officially truly start the road
to Avengers Day because Thunderbolts is officially in theaters this weekend.
Your boys have seen it, so let's break it down.

(35:49):
So Thunderbolts is out in theater. Sebastian Sebastian stand, Florence Pugh,
David Harbor, Wyatt Russell, Lewis Pulman, Hannah, John Caman, Julia,
Louis Dreyfus, a bunch of other people. Task Master.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
With Bill Pullman's son.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Yes, you probably should have learned that in the movie,
because there's one scene like man that is Bill Pullman, right.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
And you put together For some reason in my mind,
it was like a Pullman with like what a little
dot over you not ull like Bill Pullman's.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
French French pullman.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
You know, but we've both seen the movie.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
We're gonna do a sort of a non spoiler review,
and then the best part what we do for our podcast.
You can pause us before we do all the spoilers,
and that way you can go see the movie, come back,
hang out with us, and we can break down everything
went down in the movie. There are two end credit scenes,
just you know, so stick around to the very end.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I can't remember the first one to for life. I
don't know why we'll talk.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
About part but we both saw it at a mc
tyson's and Imax. I think it. It was a good
time in Imax, for sure. I think it is worth
seeing an Imax. But go see Sinners first in Imax,
I think still.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
I will say for this one theory experiance real quick
unn applause five x sound because that movie sounded glorious.
I was like, yes, this is what.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
I need, this is what I need. But Kevin, you
want to go first? Or should I go first? Let's
have you go first. I enjoyed the movie. I don't.
I do think probably not my favorite Marvel movie, but
I do think it is the Marvel movie with the
most heart since Guardians three. I'm actually gonna pull up

(37:30):
Marvel movie since Endgame because I always lose track of
what what's what phase. Uh, let's see Marvel movie since Endgame.
This is projects out of ever. Since Endgame, we've had WandaVision,
Falcon Or, Soldier, Loki, Black Widow, Shaun chi Eternals, Spider Man,
no Way Home, Hawkeye, Moonnight, Doctor Strange, Multiverse, Madness, Thor,

(37:50):
Love and Thunder, Black Panther, Ocona Forever, she Hulk, Wherewolf
by Night, Miss Marvel, the Marvels. That's just those again?
Uh a man Lost quant Mania. I think this might
be my second favorite movie, third favorite movie since Endgame,
or a fourth favorite movie. I just I just looked
through them all.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
I'm about the same with you, I believe because I ahead.
That's why I still have Spider Man three, which is amazing.
I know it's kind of but I still love it.
But whatever will cond of for Ever still one of
my one of my favorite movies because the emotion in
that movie is just unbelievable. Then of course, Shung Change
Guardings were amazing. Come on, come on now being the fifth?

(38:33):
Actually know what might be? Oh, it might be fifth
because dep Wolfing was funny too.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
I don't know, I don't know. I remember in all
the movies. I'm like, wait a second.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Now, but I'm I'm right there with you. Fourth and
fifth it's probably the best. The fourth and fifth best
movies is The End Game. Probably Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
I do think this movie is is shorter on run time,
which is good. And I do think Florence p David Harbor,
they're the relationship in the MCU. We need a father
and daughter relationship that I think very like it is
nice to have. I think it is very kin to
Bucky and Steve of like we know that relationship. You

(39:12):
know you have Tony and Roady, Tony and Pete, like
the duos is what really I think brings us together
for the MCU. And I think Florence Pugh and David
Harber they killed it. I think Florence Pugh obviously doing
her thing with a serious dramatic acting, David Harber just
having a good time is what this movie is all about.
And if I were to give it a score out

(39:32):
of ten Wheaties boxes, I give it eight out of
ten Weaty's boxes.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
I'll want you to it with the performance of Florence
Pugh and David Harbor. We know David Harbor can do
lovable male father figure because straight things. But to see
him do it differently in this because you know, in
trying to think he's more of the heroic character, whereas
Red Gardings.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
Is just an idiot. He's just an idiot, but.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
It's still something pure and lovable around all that indianness.
So seeing him and him four people and this was
really good. Again. Lewis Pullman was the unexpected all star.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
And I think that I think it's really because the
only other main thing we've seen him in is Top
Gun Maverick, and he was more of like a comedic,
tiny character more than anything. You know, Yeah, you're right,
you're right.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
So I really enjoy his performance as Sentry and the boy.
We get do that later. And also John Walker, he's
us agent. We all know he's a jerk. We saw
we saw talking about the Soldier, but to see him
as a jerk in this one because he doesn't have
anything else to do was actually kind of heartbreaking. I'm
not pulling for him yet. I still need a little

(40:39):
bit more, yeah, but I'm almost there. And then of
course are drife Is as as the late, late, DeLong
name Valentina. I hate her so much.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
Alane as we like the color.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
I hate Elane so much but that that is just
a a good doing a good job to Juli Blue Robs,
she did a great jobs because as much of that
as I love Nick Fury, I hate a Battleteine.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
And I think that's the point is Valas is the
opposite Nick Fury, where instead of bringing the characters together
because of their heroics, and she's bringing them together because
of their hatred towards her. Really more than anything.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Exactly by my Rinthew too also would have scored I'll
get this movie eight out of ten. I believe we
gave fucking Captain America Braveney where what seven or sven
point five? So this is a better moving in Captain America. Yeah, yeah,
so then eight out of ten is exactly where I
should be. It's really it's really good. If you want

(41:38):
to see this weekend in for a good time, it's
gonna be a fun time.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
I do think too that before we get the spoiler parts,
like this movie has a heart and a message behind it,
where a lot of the Marvel movies, recent Marvel movies
mainly besides like Guardians and in Wakana Forever really had
just been let's set things up and here's cameos to
pull moovering especially included that, I mean Captain mary A
breaking the world kind of was that too? He look guy,

(42:05):
yehen since probably will never probably not war, but I
do think like this movie stands out and white people
are like, this is the best Marvel movie since you
know Endgame is because it isn't it's fan service because
the characters are coming together. But it's not like we're
going out of the way to do fan service just

(42:26):
to get quick pops. It is. We're doing a story,
doing it and giving a message the way the end
of it, you feel better about yourself, you know.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
And like I didn't expect to go. I had to
go into this movie and see more of like a
Fast and the Furious style Marvel movie Suicide Squad, Suicide Squad.
This was actually almost like therapy. Yeah, I enjoyed it.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
It's like it's okay. It really was telling us it's okay,
it is okay. You are not alone.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
You have friends, maybe jerks, but you have friends.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Yes, But Kevin, let's get on into full spoilers. They're
gonna put the spoiler warning up right here. Uh so
you can pause us right now because we will talk
about spoilers for this movie, and it's end credits and
all that good stuff. So three two one longest end
credits scene in the MCU to date three minutes, two minutes,

(43:20):
fifty four seconds. But we're just gonna get three. We're
gonna round up and say three minutes long.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
Oh too short?

Speaker 1 (43:26):
It did. I was like, I know this is three minutes,
but it does not feel like three minutes. It still
feels like all the other ones.

Speaker 2 (43:31):
The next time I get six and I'll feel like three.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
Yeah, give me a whole thing.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
What was the what was the the movie?

Speaker 1 (43:37):
Oh, it just give me a Sinner's end credit scene
where you think the movie's over but then it's like,
oh no, here's a ten minute scene. Or here at
the end, Rag Coogler knows he knows how to give
it to us.

Speaker 2 (43:45):
I still think my favorite end credit scene to this
day is still the end credits scene to Iron Man two,
when it's just Cold's answer we found it. It just
pans to just.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Yeah, that's what it's That's what expanded the world? Was
that see and they're like, oh, okay, we're doing stuff,
and like, oh no, we're actually we're going there. Well
we will get there eventually, like love, I love.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
Ben Initiative, I love let them Try, and the Civil
War and when they got Bucky and Wakanda other ones.
But that was just so cool.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
It's like like we will see you a year later.
But the movie I think overall great. They they busted ghosts,
they made a buster of ghost immediately, they said are
not goost sorry task Master immediately, and it was very
funny because they killed task Master with two minutes after

(44:36):
task Masters introduced to the movie.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Yeah, so I'm not too keen on task Masker, task Masker,
task Master in the comic books. I know, I know,
I know the power set, but I know in a
lot of the animated movies he's more just a goon
yeah than the actual villain. So I don't really miss him.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
Uh So, we do have the plot, so I still
kind of go through it a little quicker than Ont's
talk about what we liked, what we didn't like. But
we find out valas facing imminent impeachment. I did think
the movie is gonna start and they're gonna impeach Thunderbolt Ross,
but it was valas Ah. I could have almost had
me there. I thought it was Airsport Gunny in this movie,
but she is obviously uh in charge of ox Corp.

(45:23):
I definitely thought it was OZ Corp a couple of
times before I saw the logo, said yeah, get you ready,
get you ready for it. But he turns out she's
hiring Yolena to do a clean up job to hit
in facility, to get rid of any targets that may
be there and any operatives that are going in there
as well. The movie did start with the Florence Pugh

(45:45):
jump off the tall building, which has kind of become notorious.
Kevin wasn't there. He was waiting for Chicken Dunder.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
Yeah, thank you, thank traffic.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
But it was Yolena pretty much say you know, like
I'm depressed. I have nothing going on. This is all
I my work and nothing else. And it was, you know,
the theme of the movie. I will say, see the
movie in Imax because Fantastic four has a cool like
the Imax logo is Fantastic four eyed, which is cool too,
So check that out if you can see the four. Yeah,

(46:15):
here's four. And what about three two one? We didn't
do three two one. We just stayed in Fantastic four
a whole the time.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
We don't you don't have to refect three or troublesome
two or I don't know something one four though.

Speaker 1 (46:26):
That's true, sinister six. Then we'll get there one day.
We'll get there. But we find out Yolena goes to
the secret Bunker. Once there, she finds out ghost is
also infiltrating in the bass. Uh, but she runs into
no then John Walker played by What Russell so literally
in this movie. We have a scene where it is uh,
Bill Pulman and Kurt Russell's son in the same scene.

(46:47):
And it's wild to think Nepo babies like that. But
they were good. They were good in this movie.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
Universal Hollywood man, it's coming coming out.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
For put Jack Quaid in the same scene. We're golden.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
We got the main three right there. I'll just spend
watching the pit same things. A bunch of segnationis actors.
Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
That's all good. But we find out that Elena, John
Walker aka u S, Agent, Ghosts, and Taskmaster have all
been summoned under the pretense of a mission. Once there,
they see that a mysterious man named Bob appears, but
they find out uh right after Ghosts kills task Master
blunt force with the gun and is off off the
books like hey, and task Master is gone. That val

(47:26):
sent everyone there to clean up shop, to burn all
the evidence with literal industrial burners to burn everything.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
Killed test match like that. Maybe not, But at the
same time, I don't think I was getting the wrestling
the movie. I don't think test maasic coup Gainst played
that much emotionality. As the other character expressed, Yeah, I
don't think it would have worked.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
But they've They eventually escaped the main room. They go
up an elevator shaft, which is great. They're bonding, bonding
as a team. It kind of was I think it
was like the Box episode of the Clone Wars where
Obi Wan had to go on to cover as like
a bounty hunter and he had a bond with all
these like bounty hunters and cat Bane was there too,
kind of reminiscent of that. They eventually escaped before they

(48:08):
find out that Valas sent her army, Private Army or
CIA Army to dispose of any evidence. They obviously play coy.
They do go disguise themselves as troopers get out of there,
but it is Bob who sacrifices himself to let the
main trio now leave. In doing so, we find out
Bob Yeah, he's invincible, he can fly, and if he

(48:31):
falls down, yeah, he's going to create a seismic boom
a creator boom boom, boom boom, as some would say.
All the while this is going on, we find that
Bucky in DC is trying to get val VAL's assistance.
I think was Mel.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Mel something Mel Yes.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
Which we believe is supposed to be a songbird.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
I think in the MCU right, did they say we'll see,
we'll see, Uh, maybe it just is a character.

Speaker 1 (49:03):
They're like, oh, maybe if we want to open the
door for this, we will. But eventually Bucky finds, you know,
he has to resort to his winter soldier days, uh,
instead of being a congressman, which was very short lived
because I think they said he like abdicated his his
power as a House of representative.

Speaker 2 (49:20):
Out So it was he still a congressman because he's
used abbey to that that party they had at the
beginning of the movie.

Speaker 1 (49:25):
I think this movie made him not a congressman, is
what this movie made him. You know, he wasn't gonna
do any good in there and got to.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
Keep in there. But we'll see why I can't stay
in the exactly.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
Although we see that Red Guardian, who is running a
limo business, does end up actually meeting Walker, Yolena and
Ghosts to help them get them in their in his
limo to escape. Unfortunately, limo isn't the newest of limos
and gets tracked by the military, but they are saved
ultimately by Bucky fully Winter Soldier rising, but this time

(49:58):
as a good guy on the motors, a good.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Guy and also doing some callbacks to Tomato two. That
shotgum Foot was pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
And we even got Bucky doing the knife thing, which
was I like that. I love seeing that every time.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
He had his mind gun back. So I guess whoever
made that gun for him? He must hide it because
it's it's kind of a power gun. He likes it.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
He likes it a lot, he just can't use it
all the time. We do find out also that at
one point Jolena did work, or doubt it didn't work,
was on a youth I think baseball team where they
were called the thunder Sorry, what was it? Soccer soccer team?
Soccer team where they were called the Thunderbolts, and obviously

(50:37):
Red Guardian assumes when they mentioned Thunderbolts that that's what
they're calling their team, so that leads to them more
that's not Doublets.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
The whole time in the movie, when I was a kid,
our soccer team was called the We were the Buccaneers,
no Raiders, Raiders.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
We were just the Cup. We were normal MLB teams
in baseball. So like the ub the Orals, that's just
what it is. But we find out eventually that Bob
actually was part of a secret project called Project Centry.
He will be Centry, but we find out that Bob
has split personalities and has a lot of mental issues

(51:15):
mental health issues going on, but Val thinks he can control,
so she takes him back to New York after he
survives getting shot and falling from the sky to sort
of indoctrinate him into working for her, as she poses
for as like a more maternal figure instead of the
boss lady she is other word, but boss lady instead.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
Yeah, and even the way she got ready for as
that part of the thing said, don't look more maternal
like this, I'm like so much.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
But it is Bucky teaming up with the Thunderbolts. Now
all fully Thunderbolts that it is side that we have
to infiltrate Vender's Tower, which I do think. I wish
it wasn't spoiled on the trailer. That would be a
cool thing. But I think this this movie, there is
a lot in the trailer that will kind of leads
the beat, beat by beat of this movie. So don't

(52:06):
watch any more trailers. I think that will that will
less than the movie for you. Then if you were
surprised by some of the things happened, but the.

Speaker 2 (52:12):
Battle trailer since the second one, I don't watch twenty
four one and all.

Speaker 1 (52:16):
Yeah, yeah, but we find out that the Avengers Tower
is now called the watch Tower, which is cool. We'll
probably get a Marvel snap card for that. And that
Bob fully has uh turned into the Century persona. He's
dyed his hair blonde. He has a full yellow ass
suit that the Thunderbolts are welcomed up to take him on,
and they can't do jack nothing against him because he's

(52:39):
superman essentially. And there was a there was a point
point where, like I think the Congressman, the main congressman
in this movie, was like, you're turning someone into a
super He paused and it said person. I was like, oh,
he's Superman, but he didn't.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
Yeah, if you're not familiar with with Century, Century is
one of like three or four I'm Superman level heroes
and model it's him, got him Hyperion, Blue Marble, and
I think the mutant named Guardian I think is another
one that they kind of like, I'm big, strong, i
can fly, I'm and pervious the pain laser eyes when
it comes.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
But Century kind of gets dellusionized in sort of having
god like powers. There was a good reference of like, well,
you said, I'm all the Avengers rolled in the one
and one of them is an actual god, so that
means I'm a god. And then he turns on Val
obviously because he has the god complex. Essentially.

Speaker 2 (53:33):
The comic book fights between Century and Thora are pretty epic.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
I will say that maybe we'll get it, maybe we
will get it, we'll find out. But we find out Val,
with the help of Mal does use a fail saved
kill switch we think commediately kills Sentry, but it doesn't.
It just welcomes in his destructive alter ego, the Void,
who began to turning everyone in shadows, especially that one
little girl who got rescued from Red Guardian kind of

(53:57):
having their Avengers moment and in the shadow, and that's
where everyone in our theater went. We got the little girl,
not the little girl, not the little girl to eventually
somewhere in this the chaos we do see know the
Thunderbolts losing. They do part ways very Avengers coded uh,
sort of the middle of Avengers, and they come back

(54:18):
at the end. Red Guardian does have a good heart
to heart. If Lena, like I said, that's the highlights
of these movies. And I wouldn't put it past if
Jolena is the new focal point of the MCU, because
I think people really like Florence Pugh, they like the
character and they want her to win.

Speaker 2 (54:36):
I think, well, she's an amazing actress. Actress, I mean Oppenheimer.
She was great even in the movie she did. She
played Page for that was really good. Was she was
she in I can't remember the name of the movie
of the movie and she did it last year. But yeah,
Florence p is like she didn't Dune.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
She's in Dune too.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
She's in Dune, right, She's like the next I want
to say, like Glenn Close, Meryl Streep Yeah, Typer be
around for it. She'll be around forever. Yeah, she wants
to be around.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
It is I mean, when you really think about this
cast is really stacked and it'll be interesting in like
five years from now and be like yeah, like we
didn't realize like this cast was stacked. Yeah, you know.
But eventually the team does come together, people start getting
turned into shadows. Yolena does realize, you know, the only
way to confront and help Bob is to confront him
head on. She goes into the shadows where she does

(55:27):
kind of confront her fear visions multiple times. Eventually she
does find Bob, realizing that the main scene she tracks
him down to is his initial like experimentation of him
being turned into the void. But eventually everyone else does
do the same and goes after Well it did stink?
Or did wish we saw their sort of fear vision
walks if they had any, just because I think I

(55:48):
would have humanized the characters more. I know, ghost is there.
We haven't really talked about ghosts too much because they
didn't really do too much on ghost in this.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
She was more like the cool cool power.

Speaker 1 (55:58):
She's the only one with a cool power, you know,
everyone else's like you saying, this movie, everyone else just
shoots guns and it might be a little strong, you know.

Speaker 2 (56:05):
I love the I love the thing. When it asks
Bucky what his favorite was like, No, I'm good. My
nufe's been perfect.

Speaker 1 (56:11):
I've already confronted it. We're good, We're fine. They do
confront Void, and it is ultimately up to Bob, who
at one point does turn into the Void, but the
thunderbolts give him a group hug. Very guardians, one coated
of a dance off is what saves the day and
allow Bob to overcome the Void, which restores everything back
to normal, which is great. We'll have been real sad

(56:33):
if they got out, but the rest of New York
City was just shadows.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
The end. The end.

Speaker 1 (56:38):
Well, we'll figure out what to do this this paint
over it, I guess. With a threat neutralized, they all do,
see Val. They all like, we're gonna beat this lady up.
I'm gonna kill her. No, I'm gonna kill her. First
she goes through some curtains and we find out, well,
it was a press conference. She was just coursing them
all over to go top. And we find out Kevin

(56:59):
that the thunder Volts. The star had a purpose the
entire time because.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
What they are the New Avengers Avengers.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
And Kevin did not like that when he saw that. Immediately,
I didn't like it.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
Because they started playing like like an alternate version of
the Avengers theme. It was like, you know, different key.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
Different keys, they're playing the violins, they're playing the violins.

Speaker 2 (57:21):
Yeah, I didn't like them, But I didn't like the
line that Florence p says after this to Valentina, we
own you now because they had a chance, like the Avengers.
Here's what she did. But because I guess the greater
good actually because the world needs Avengers.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
They need somebody, They need someone to look up to
too as well. That is really that is they can
always say, well, we got the Avengers. We don't just
have Shaun Ki who might be in San Francisco at
one point, you know, or you know Dar.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
Devil who's just like just missing right now because he's
just underground.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
Because of what But the Thunderbolts logo changes to the
New Avengers, and I think what really sold it and
made it better instead of leaving like oh, in the
New Avengers was they had like newspaper clippings as the
fun credits of Like, the first headline was not my Avengers,
and we're like, that's us right now.

Speaker 2 (58:14):
They probably knew that too, Yeah, like people will be pissed,
so let's just put this in front right now so
they don't we understand.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
Yeah, and it really was. All the headlines were like,
are they actually Avengers? Are they helping us? They're more
just a pr stunt. We do. Then cut to our
first post credit scene. We find out that the new
Avengers are on the Wheaties box. So if you got
one of those whati boxes that has thunderbolts, it's a
collective because our collection, because they probably have a new

(58:40):
Avengers one soon. And Wheaties will be selling obviously, which
is wild that Uh yes, put them on a box.
They are they are they they They sold the Wheaties
boxes today. They sold out within thirty minutes. Kevin, Wow,
Wheaties boxes of Wheaties. Yeah, uh huh.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
Dry.

Speaker 1 (58:57):
Cereal dry, cereal, very dry. We find out Red Guardian
is trying to sell the cereal to a shopper and
she just puts it back and says I'm good and leaves.
But the main post credit scene, which was three minutes
is we cut two new Avengers HQ, which I assume
is in the watch Tower. Everyone's got kind of a

(59:17):
pompadour version of their hair, kind of a degree longer hair.
At least got funding that we got new hairstyles and costumes,
new suits that are very like, very PR friendly instead
of the suits they had to a degree. We find
out that Red Guardian has bought sort of racing track

(59:38):
suits and that apparently they are in a PR battle
over the copyright of Avengers and then they could be
called the Avengers with a Z to avoid copyrights. But
I mean one of the main questions we had immediately
was like will Sam Wilson show up? We find out
that Sam does not approve of this team and isn't
joining the team, which will be interesting to see because
I think it was fourteen months later I think was

(01:00:00):
the time job. Yeah, is who worthy? Did any other
Avenger join up, like Miss Marvel, did Kate Bishop? Or
are they doing their own thing? You know? Why did
Sam not agree with this? It'll be interest to see
when we get to Avengers Doomsday, which I assume is
it's gonna be the team in chaos, not as full
of Vengers, but just as pockets of an Avengers unit.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
And then the thing my heart was like, okay, what
was that Elena ax Bucky. He talked to Sam like, yeah,
didn't end well, they don't know, Sam, Bun I don't
like that. So it's not Tony and cap esk, but
it's like a small version of it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Yeah. I do think like we'll get a lot of
that in Doom's Day, probably in the beginning unless all
the X Men die. We'll find out bloody opening because
the Avengers do ask, hey, Bob, you want to do anything,
and Bob's like, I can't. I don't want to tap
into the void again. But they do get satellite footage
revealing an enormous spacecraft has emerged in outer space. They

(01:01:05):
see the footage has a Fantastic four on the side,
and that's where the movie ends. I will say I
wish they didn't spoil that because in the music credits
they said Fantastic four. Main thing was like, we didn't
get that yet. We didn't get that yet.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
I kind of wish there's no way you could do
this because just of how pr and marketing works. If
we didn't know about Fantastic four until right then and
then kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
Yeah, and then you're like, okay, here's your cast, like,
all right, let's go. It comes down next, it comes
out two months, No way you got that wasn't most delayed.

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
At one point to now? I can't remember.

Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
I know there was a lot of reshuffling because of
the Rider's strike, and CAP was supposed to be last year.
I think Thunderbolts was supposed to be marchi ish or
something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
Originally, so it probably what it would have been the
original plan. It's come out in like March, and then
we see Fantastic four. Oh my gosh. Then we got
a trailer with webably original plan.

Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
But it does kind of go against my theory thinking
that the Fantastic Forward land in the X Men universe
for doomsday. So I'm gonna call it now that they
are just gonna wipe that X Men universe real quickly.
Whenever Doom or whoever shows up in the movie.

Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
It could be that second stop.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
That is true. That is true. They escaped that one
and it got to another one. There there you go.
I like it. I like it, Kevin, all right, But then, Kevin,
you did bring up a good question before we get
into the ranking and everything that's about century like, oh,
Centric can tap in and that, and I was like, oh,
that's kind of their thor to a degree from Avengers
Infinity War, like he's the badass that tap in and

(01:02:41):
pull out. Yeah. But I do think in the comics
Doom does show his powers off by killing Thanos immediately.
I think you could do the same thing with Bob
and like, oh crap, like that is not good.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
In the comic books, the fanels walks up to Doom
do maximum he has panel says no, and he totally
out of his body, and I wass yeah, oh Doom's here.

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
Well, Doom Doom is here.

Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
But Kevin, let's get to the rankings because and then
we'll go some predictions a little bit too. We didn't
rank Daredevil Born Again and it unfortunately doesn't have a
letterboxed ranking, so we're just gonna use Daredevil Ben Atflix
Daredevil as a placeholder. So, Kevin, where would you put
Daredevil in our MCU in review rankings? I will say

(01:03:28):
right now, I'll just do the top ten because there's
there's like the fiftieth project or something. Now you got
endgame Infinity War, no way, yeah, no way, yeah, no way, Home,
Civil War, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Guardians one thor Ragnarok, Avengers,
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume three, and we'll kind of
Forever's at eleven. Where would you put Daredevil in our

(01:03:50):
little MCU in review rankings?

Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
Put it at twenty four, right in front of Doctor Stranger.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Look at that, because I got a goal away to fifty.
Then bring it all up. She said, you said twenty four. Yeah,
she said, you said under Miss Marvel, above Doctor Strange,
but below Falcon and Winter Soldier below Agatha all along.

Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
Because well talking about a soldier maybe ranking one day.
But I did join Miss Marvel a little bit more
than Daredevil. But we love Daredevil like a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
I do think it will be interesting that Daredevil Born
Again does get a second season. So'll be interest see
how that second season, because we talked about Loki like
moved up after a second season. If if that does
the same or lowers down, I'll go with you for
twenty four, just because I can fight for Miss Marvel,
but it's not worth the time. And I do think
hopefully the second season once it's all you know in

(01:04:46):
house we don't got to pull it away from other
show is what truly will make that better? All right?
So that's a twenty four great love it. Now, let's
let's go to Thunderbolts. Technically now our fiftieth project in
the MCU at least the to this list. And I
don't know it's too many to count Kevin starting Bid
because I guess you put Daredevil up. I will put

(01:05:09):
Starting Bid Thunderbolts easily at nineteen above Captain America Brave
New World as just an opening argument.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Who's wanna say? Eighteen right in front of Guardians too?

Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Okay, so below WandaVision but above Guardians too. Yeah, okay,
I do I do see that. I think so just
talking about the word, we'll go ten through twenty ten
is Guardians three, eleven's Black Panther mcconaugh, Forever, twelve is
iron Man, thirteen is Dead Pull Wolverine. I know we
talked about, you know, this movie having a heart and

(01:05:46):
that be more of a cameo fest. This is a different
things really in the MCU that I think is peak
of what that side of the MCU can be. Shun
Ti at fourteen, Loki at fifteen which is strong, Spider
Man Homecoming, and then Wanda Vision is strong as well.
Guardians Too, I think strong. I think it's along the
same lines of having that heart Guardians who does have

(01:06:07):
a better soundtrack. This doesn't have any soundtrack at all,
But it's a different movie. That's a different movie.

Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
Yeah, Early, I think I had that fifteen in my head,
and then after a while I kind of thought about, like, look,
LOOKI Too was very important, and LOOKI two was so good.
Spider Man was literally the homecoming, and again nothing we
ever captured the magical WandaVision or a pandemic, nothing we
ever bringing out.

Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
Yeah, so you know, I agree with you at eighteen.
I think if we're gonna have Brave New World right there,
it has to be above Brave New World. Brave Door
probably needs to be adjusted, but that's okay. And I
do think I did watch Guardians two in Charlotte when
I was in the hotel waiting for like more to
get right, I'm like, man, Guardians to just it's got

(01:06:48):
that sauce baby, the ondue scene, Like that whole scene
is so good.

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
Well, I think for me, what saves Guardians Too from
being like kind of like madness where it's kind of
like split, very split. It is a soundtrack sounds like
so good Guardians.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
The chain that brought that sounds back. Baby. You know what, Kevin,
I'm put Thunderbolt at nineteen. I think there's a where
we're risen up Guardians too, right now. I think that's right,
I think, and.

Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
I mean honestly, I wouldn't mind dropping dropping Captain America
if he drops by the Man Far from Home too,
because you know, I can't say that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
Oh, that's a debate we will have for another podcast.
Ken don't like well, you know what we're thinking about it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
I hate it more.

Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
Well, maybe before doomsday we'll do one last re rank
and then like a d that's it. No more reranks.
You did you had your two? Yeah, you had your two.
You're done now, all right? Well, that officially now ranks
the fiftieth project in their mcun review, where we put
Daredevil Born Again at twenty five, right above Doctor Strange
and below Miss Marvel and then not to be out done, Thunderbolts. Okay,

(01:07:54):
the new Avengers will be interested to see, like when
it comes to Disney plus if they still call it
thunder I assume, oh, probably right.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
So yeah, well yeah, because I mean they still call
it Talking Win.

Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
They don't want to spoil it. The Disney Plus audience
both at nineteen above Captain America, Brave New World Below,
Guardians two and Wanda Vision. What this means What's next?
That's the best part. Fantastic four is immediately what's next
July that comes out. We're not sure what's happening with
the Iron Heart series. I would assume at this point

(01:08:25):
it's delayed till the fall because we have no idea
what's happening with it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
Well, other thing too is like I don't think we
have any other movies announced between Fantastic Four and Doomsday.

Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
Nope, we have isaaah Conda, iron Heart, and I think
that that's it right now. So until we get most
like a comic connor a D twenty three, our next
stop after Fantastic Four truly is Avengers Day.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
I will also say I hope because of this movie
that Dick Dick Schreyer, I say it, he gets he
gets more embacy movies, because I think he did a
really good job of this. Yeah, if James Gunn was
your group movie, maybe this could be a new group movie. Guy,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
Yeah, it is interesting too that this is the last
movie of Phase five. I know, Phase five seemed real
quick because Phase five truly started had Eight Man, The
Lost Quantumnia, Guardians three, the Marvel's Deadpool, Wolverine cap Brave
New World, and Thunderbolts. Fantastic four will start Phase six,
which wow, as of right now, is that Doomsday Spider

(01:09:25):
Man movie that comes out in July. After Doomsday, and
then Avengder's Secret Wars in twenty twenty seven still rumored,
still happening, Armor Wars Don Cheetle one day. One day
you'll get that special Slash movie Slash Show. That Planet
Hule thing at one point was supposed to happen too

(01:09:46):
one day maybe, who knows.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
I think universey will never let that happen now, didn't
want us have a nice day.

Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
Shang Chi is supposed to get a sequel. We're due
for the X Men Mutant style probably after Secret Wars.
Black Panther three is to be happening now that Sinners
is done. I assume we'll probably hear more about that
for sure than that Blade movie, which was but right.

Speaker 2 (01:10:09):
There right now on the slate cinematically, not on TV.
Was just Fantastic Four, next Doomsday twenty twenty six, Brider
Man Brand New Daye twenty twenty six, and then Secret
War twenty twenty seven. I feel like somewhere in there
they could. They can start soon, hopefully a shunk.

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
Chi too, maybe a Blue Marvel movie. Kevin says, they
did it for Katain Marvel and a black Panther. It's
Blue Marble's diet. He bought it up, he did it.
But yeah, I do think if they want to. I mean,
it's worked. Black Panther, I mean no, Black Panther was
a different thing. That was a phenomenon that Captain Marvel
tried to do and it didn't work as well. But

(01:10:48):
you could introduce a new hero again, or a new team,
a new version of team. Maybe a Guardian's I don't know,
that'd be a rough Guardians movie. Just know James Gunn
and it's the New Guardians. But you know, but we
have Guardians out there right now. We have new Guardian's team.
We can totally learn about him in another movie. Yeah,
there's something can do, something you can do. But Kevin,
give me one last prediction. Fantastic four with this movie

(01:11:12):
and then Doomsday.

Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
I feel like the end of Fantastic Four is going
to see the horrible collapse of whatever the world they're in,
and that's going to set us up for seeing how
hold an incursion really is. And I feel like when
when when they come to our world, they're gonna be
broken team.

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
I forgot about incursions. I forgot that was the doctor
Strange thing. Yeah, that was the thing.

Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
Third Eye apparently he is the end Secret Wars apparently,
which is like weird. I mean, there's a lot of
actors that didn't get their chair revealed that we were
kind of questioning, way, what's happening, So we'll find out.
We will see what happens.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
But let us know what you think about Thunderbolts. We
both really enjoyed it. I think it is a good,
like we said, kick off to the Road to Avengers Day,
But Fantastic four is next. Unless Ironheart gets a surprise
it's coming out next month. It could. I mean it's
just the start of May, so who knows.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
It's type of Fironheart, But I know that's not one
of the most pop series. But I've heard some positive
things about it. I do it's better spread.

Speaker 1 (01:12:23):
But I do think if it comes out, it will
kind of be like, Eh, it won't be like the
momentum won't be building still, I think, is what's gonna happen?

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Yeah, it's city right now. Is a pocket show.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
Yeah, we'll find out.

Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
We'll find out.

Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
Maybe they'll save it for like we said, that'll be
the thing that's in between the Avengers movies or something
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
But what's my daughter to watch?

Speaker 1 (01:12:43):

be officially a married man. For a year. We will
be married, but we'll be talking about Star Wars, Tales
of the Underworld, some Last of Us and whatever chaos.
