Fifteen days.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Oh all right, we'll talk about that. We're gonna talk
about Invincible season three episode four. We're gonna talk about
Sevens season two, episode five, and Kevin has seen Captain
America for the second time. We'll see if it still
holds up compared to how we saw it the first time.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
I also talk about theory, experience.
Speaker 1 (01:40):

Aitherway with ye boys, you know, because it's fun to
see it that way instead of yah boys.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
It's funny. I remember when first on YouTube, it was like,
you know, like five videos there. Now look at it now.
I was like wow, it's like that was like, we're
doing this for a lot.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
There's a lot. You could have a whole year of
just what they doing well that's what we did on
this day on that year.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Let's be your nighttime show. Put us on YouTube and
go to sleep and just.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Say, hey, YouTube, play that playlist of our long videos
and just wow me to sleep. We don't all your sleep.
We keep you entertained in this podcast because it could
be a random noise going. Oh, and then what.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Play the two and a half hour review of quine
It Forever or the two hour review of Doctor Strange.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
And then let me get real sad. Yeah, yeah, we'll
kind of foreve and get what's sad? And like, okay,
all right, let's put you to be in this sad
movie and all of a sudden, Kevin playing God of Horror, Like,
what the hell is that? No, he's not mumbling in
the background.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Who was mumbling? And why do I keep hearing access
and things?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
There you go. But if you are in the chat Twitch,
dot tv, slash, Infantous corp pods and you did see
Captain America this weekend, let us know what you thought
about it. As long as you want to review, put
it in the chat and we'll read it out loud,
because you know, your word is also gold around this podcast.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I guess you could say, job, I like that.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
I try, I try, I try. But we always started
the podcast properly with what you're doing. Where we talking
about the shows and movies. We've been watching, games, we've
been playing, lives, we've been living. Because it is Monday, Kevin,
you get to go first, except you're saving your Captain
America review for later.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yes, that is what we're doing for later. For this weekend,
I have been kind of in the early stages, are
prepping to take my family down to Florida for Disney World.
You got our tickets the other day, and it's funny,
kind of you don't really need to buy tickets beforehand.
You just get them on at the park tickets at
the window park tickets yet because the program invasions are over.
(04:14):
Thank god, that was a stupid thing. I get why
they did it, but jeez. So you just go up
to to take a window and get tickets now. But
I usually get our tickets through Sam's Club rembership because
this is a little bit cheaper. So I bought those
on Friday night and it takes a while for them
like to confirm everything.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Now, is this you bought actual tickets or you bought
like a Disney gift card through Sam's Club.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Actually the actual like Park digital and once you buy them.
It's funny too because I actually, I actually appreciate this
about Sam's Club when you spend that much money because
of of course, I'm paying for a family of three
to get park tickets. They actually have a have a
thing where you have to put in a put it
in like a confirmation code authentication to make sure that
(05:00):
money cleared.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
IM like, hey, do you really have this amount of money?
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, exactly, So I was like, oh, I appreciate that.
Now you know that I'm not just trying to you know,
scan it out. Also put that in. And then once
you do that, they stayed wait twenty four hours, up
to twenty four hours, and they email you another code
and put that code into your Disney Experience and and
then your tickets are boom right there. So tickets are
ready to go. I'm really excited this time because I'm
(05:26):
going with the family of four instead the family of three.
But I'm also kind of sad because my sister who
was going with us doesn't run a lot, so she's
going to be like, you know, okay, hold this, we're
going to ride on his.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Ride this one.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Hold that, all right, I gotta feel bad about all Right,
We're going take advantage her a lot because I know
I want to watch toront of course. I want my
daughter Lead to ride dog Dash again because she wrote
that two years ago. She was won the great experience.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
But now she's old and is care of going with
you guys or no, yes, okay, but she's the free
so she can get in there for free.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Free. Yeah, she's she's free until what she's tall than
Lea was at her I'm not. Next year, I get
ready for a lot of Kira's first walk down Main
Street videos. I don't care if you hate it. It's gonna
be a lot of them. But the sad part is
I kind of want Alicia and Lee and ride Rise
(06:20):
of the Resistance. But I don't know if they need
to be like Star Wars Star Wars to enjoy it,
because I think if you ride to anything, I feel
like this is just a fun ride.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I think your litmus test is take them on store
tours anything like that. Then you're like, all right, here's
an actual thing you know that's in this in the
universe a little.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Bit, because you know, Rise of the Resistance Ratitude and
Mickey Minimo Reil Car Getaway whatever it's called, had the
same Rochester where it's this trackless that's the most fun
to ride because don't know where you're going. It's like,
oh my gosh, it's just the floor. I don't see,
like I'm going around this curve when right here. So
I'm hoping they can enjoy that. But again, go back
to my sister, You're gonna have to have to have
(07:03):
care for a long time because I don't know how
long that. Well, let it again. Actually, why have I
talk about yesterday? But we're like, you know what, We're
gonna bite the bullet, get some lightning lane passes this time.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah, I think I will say lightning lanes are worth
it if, like I know, they fluctuate based on price
and stuff depending on when you go. But once you
do it, you don't go back. I'll tell you that
right now. And you're like, how much time you save
of like being more intentional with your trip to Disney
instead of having to wait in lines the entire time?
(07:34):
I think it is well worth it, especially like if
you like gratitude, you're like, all right, Lea is gonna
love that ride because there's the first time she'll be
writing it right, probably.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah, because I don't remember last time we got right
up to we're next to get on and it broke down.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
So like legit, so you don't have to wait an
hour in line, you can do that. You know, you
can get on in fifteen minutes and then yeah, all right,
let's go to the Ratitude store now and spend more
time here or get exact, get something to eat, ice cream, sandwich,
thing that you recommend.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
So we'll probably spend lightning lanes on that. Probably Tron
was available. I looked at it early. Actually Tron's available
for lighting lanes Tiana still isn't that that's still I
think that's still virtual Q only. So in order for
I think we have to get through the riots expradiously
get back to the kids, I think we have to
(08:24):
spend some money. And it also got got the return flight,
so I'm already kind of I'm already in my Disney
depression right now, even.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Though I even got.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I gotta come back. This sucks, which goes back. I
remember a while ago we did a story about Disney,
uh maybe like doing planning communities in Florida and somewhere else?
What happened to that? Because I would love to move
to Disney Disney House, you know what I mean, Like
you know how you go to those shopping center they
have like the apartments above the shopping center. They felt like,
(08:59):
you know, a fourteen fifteen sixteen floor tower apartment thing.
But back it came to my moving in the second.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
That's right now, there's no like big news. The last
time I was reported was twenty twenty three, so I
don't know a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
I get it. But that's one of the reasons why
I love the cruises better than the parks, because when
we want the cruise, actually like you're living in Disney
for at least three days.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
But I think, yeah, well, obviously we also not have
the Star Wars Hotel anymore, so like that was your
living in Disney for at least Disney World. Yeah, I
love that, love that you guys are getting right in
the parks. So I just looked up your things. You
get Disney dining dollars? Do you are? You know what?
At least this is what this deal I looked like
on Sam's Club right.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Now, entirely because I read the cod print of that
I don't think it's Disney dining. I think it's like
Disney dining, but it means like I can use this
certificate approved restaurant.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Okay, all right, and that makes sense why you didn't
and say, oh I got this too, because like I
don't know who this is. That's dope.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
So I gotta read up on that because I'm like,
this is so fishy. I'm here for discount, not intre
for this, but thank you.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Yes, and this reminder, don't buy your tickets the day
of your if you want to have a bad Disney day,
do not buy your tickets the day of your Disney
day because you can't get any lightning lanes ahead of
time and you're gonna be late to the party. Baby.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
So I did hit the little button on for Sam's Club.
Do you know how much Florida people pay to get.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
The Disney Very cheap, very very cheap.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
I'm like, the hell I might go find like, like
I don't know, a very very rundown apartment somewhere that's
like two hundred bucks a month. It's like this is
my primary residence.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Yes, my mail, one piece of mail goes here. My
Sam's Club mail goes here. I think it's funny too,
because like I think there was like an article of
the Today where like even Disney's like, yeah, we know
Disney is too expensive. Here's the deals you can get.
It's all like Florida people deals like come on, we
want to go too.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
You know, it is it is a problem. Hopefully there's
a plan for that, because this is getting pretty I mean,
family four this year, but Michael family four again, three
or four years that I think we spent. I don't
care what I say it. We're spending fifteen three of us.
I don't know what I will be for four in
four years. That's gonna be a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
But just let us be a lesson. Take advantage of those,
you know, the wholesale DJs and Sam's Club I think
are the ones that have the better deals. Target sometimes
Costco does.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Costco makes you buy resorts take not just tickets.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Yeah, so take advantage of those deals, especially because in
Disney expensive y'all, we know, and you don't have to
stay at keV stain at like a timeshare type property.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Right, Yeah, and then we're staying in the rental health space. Yeah,
it's a bunch of cool stuff.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
In Seid and your boy convinced the family to stay
at the Marriott hotel that's on Disney property. Gets the
Disney benefits, but it's a little cheaper, you know.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
So what results have you stayed that in Disney?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Pop Century and Art Animation just those ones, oh and
All Star.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, I want to stay at that at that like
that New Orleans style.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah, I think I think that's just like there's certain
brackets of Disney hotels if you do go and it's
really like all right, Art of Animation and lower. Yeah,
we got that in the bag, and like, well we're
really going we're at least us on the podcast or
in the tax track it off. We're really gonna have
to save and double down if we want to get
to that other hotel.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Because we saw a plan for this. She wanted to
stay the Anikate Resort. I was like, oh, you get
another job that we're doing.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
You're like, okay, we can visit the Animal Kay the resort,
but we ain't going there.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
You make a direct direct deposit direct to the Disney. You
don't even got to put it in your bank account,
goes right to this and you just use advocated where
you wanted to go yeah, told them the busy plan
of that, and also still wanted in the mass Effect.
I'm the Mass Effect three. Man. I love this.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
I love that you're gonna play and Drama again. I
think you need to give that another go. At this
point you played the other three.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
I might try, but I'm not sure it's gonna work
because my driva, my round box doesn't work anymore.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Well, it sounds like anybody digitally, baby, it's probably on
sale for five bucks or if you got actual was
actually it was.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
I don't know that was, but I was like a
week and a half ago. I'm not sure if it's
on I'll check for a second. Because when I played
Drama the first time I played, when Lea was a
Lea was an infant, so I wasn't like too into it.
I'm like, okay, good, sure breathing you.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Got so, Kira at this point you're like, gos, she
breathed you fine?
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Well yeah, And actually it's funny because my old now
I gave her my older PSI controller when I had
a stick drift issue. That's her controller now. She thinks
she's playing with them sometimes when she's playing. But yeah,
maybe I should stop restarting drama. Nothing really good happens
in that game until like that maybe three quarters of
the ways when you get the mass at Easter Egg.
But other than that, it was a solid play. It
(13:42):
was It wasn't great. It was a solid play. But yeah,
that's all I been doing with about you, buddy.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Yeah, so for me, Uh, fun we went to Jimmy
Seafood last night for Valentine's Day. Uh we were day
late because you know, we weren't paying them fees. Were
smarter than that, we know. So that was great. Moore's
first time eating there. Uh, she's now a pascatarian. That
was great too.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
That was fun.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
It was a long trip, I'll tell you that, just
to get there.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
But yeah, because I mean even people where I live.
I was like, good ones to Jimmy's.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Ride un Dog Baby Dundog for you. But on top
of that, that was fun. It was great. Teddy's adopted
versity was yesterday as this podcast recording. He's been on
the podcast for five years now. Wild he's been making
noises for about four of those years, essentially, and then
on pretty much stuff I've watched or consumed. I did
(14:34):
finish Beast games on Prime Video. I will say it
was very predictable who was going to win that? And
if you think about overall, they kind of pegged it
by episode one who was gonna win? Because he was
like to you, they were the only person that they
really featured on in the first episode.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Oh quick question was I don't kind of remember? Was
Teddy a puppy when you got him?
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Teddy was ten months so we got puppy benefits, but
trained to a degree, so like you know, he's potty
trained and he could shake and all that good stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Cool because I remember that day well you posted you
got him, Well that that's definitely how he's dug like
there's no other that dog was born to be Hoodies.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Dog, and he is and he lives well. He had
five pieces of Chick fil A nuggets yesterday as well
as Peppy Ben and Jerry's ice cream, which Cody now
you can now buy for Cody. So there you go.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Now Cody farts way too much, give any real food.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
I think here's the thing I will go up Teddy Teddy.
Earlier today he was hanging next to me. I was like,
what's that noise out here? I think that man farted
on me. What the hell.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
I don't know about Teddy Cody far is like old
man likes it's terrible, it's so bad.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
But yeah, so Beast Games was okay, Yeah, it was okay.
I did finish Dragon Ball z Kai, so that was
officially finished. Your boy watched it all through all the
boot stuff, that boot soga, Oh my god, so long,
so many phases of flood.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
It's a boot soka man as as long as you
think the NEMX song was those sod my beer.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Yeah, yeah, it was great. I think Uh, as an adult,
I'd known everything, but I think it was cool just
to connect the dots on everything now as an adult,
which is cool. Unfortunately they move Dragon Ball Super and
is on Hulu anymore, so your boy needs to find
a crunchy role membership again now to watch these damn
shows about free ones all the time they do. Yeah,
(16:25):
I think I gotta look at my PlayStation five to
see it a trial. But uh, it's funny because I
was like, all right, I'm so excited Supers on here,
and I see, oh it's not on Hulu. Let me
check Google. Yeah, removed off Hulu two days ago after
I finished watching it's like.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Damn it, I there's a free country role play, but
I'm sure that's it's probably.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
A yeah, I'm not I can't do that. Maybe now
when it's a lot of episodes like dragon Ball and
I'm like, oh, well, we gotta get through this.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
I saw it take all of the days. It's I
ain't rich, but I'm no commercials rich.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
That's the same thing as Lightning Lands. I will pay
for no commercials and I can't afford anything else, but
just those things. That's it. And then yeah, pretty much
besides that, been chilling, really excited just for friendly Neighborhood
Spider Man to finish up. Obviously, while sever ins invincible,
we'll talk about that in a second, but let's get
on into it. It is time for new.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
No no no news.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
But like, I didn't do anything to it. It's just
like not doing it and I updated you doing what
you do. But let's get on into it. We we
did do our Captain America review on Thursday, so in
case you were looking for that go back one episode,
we got a cool part about that where it's spoiler free,
so if you haven't seen the movie, you can still
(17:48):
hear our discussion about it, what we thought about it
in the rankings of it. Then we go on full spoilers.
That was on Thursday's episode Friendly Reminder too. Yeah boy
got to interview Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, and the director
of Captain America Braveney World, Julius Ona. Also on the feed.
That's two episodes ago if you're if you're listening through
the audio podcast. It's also featured on the iHeartRadio up
(18:10):
front page, so click that please uh And then we
have a video version too, so check that wherever you are.
But the fun thing is Kevin saw the movie with
me early. We saw it on Tuesday night with the
promise of I'm taking my wife to go see this
movie as well. Yes, so, Kevin, what is your re
(18:30):
review of Captain America Brave New World. Let's break it down?
There you go are, Kevin, I saw us again with.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
My wife with where Else Cinema is here and the Ratanda,
and I gotta say it's still pretty good movie to me.
It held up pretty well to me. There are a
few things I missed the first time I kind of
got the second time that were pretty cool, but all
at all, like this movie is right right, rand, this
is like a bottom twenty bottom top twenty Marvel movie.
(19:10):
It's better then hit listen off the ones. So we've
gotten shang Chi, We've gotten Doctor Strange too, We've gotten
Black Widow Eternals four eleven, thunder a Man, Quantum Mania,
and Devil Wolverine. THO has been like our seven movies
we've gotten since that game and nowhere near the wire
Pull Wolverine because that that was an event, but not
(19:33):
better than shang Chi, but a lot better than other
ones that have come out so far. So my feelings
stand the same with the movie. It was a pretty
good movie because things can be done better. Yes, maybe
if the studio wasn't going through changes during this movie,
because when the movie started being made, Bob Champick was
in charge and the guy in charge of Marvel was
(19:54):
some investment banker in charge, and then they said chicken pick,
get out and take invest banking with you. Kevin I
came back in the fold and they remade a movie basically,
So maybe if Kevin Facky wasn't in charge from the beginning,
movie could have been totally different, had a different message,
different tone. But I feel like he kind of saved
this movie because I feel if it was just a
Chapek joint, it could have been like a shoot Man.
(20:16):
They did Sam wrong, you know what I mean. But
the actually still held up. It was still funny. Part
of the line I still love at the end of
the movie when he's fighting Red Hawk and he just
goes Bucky was full of as I should have took
that serrum. One of the best lines in the whole movie.
But Autumn know, I still I'm still a big fan
of the movie. My score didn't go up or down.
(20:39):
I think I said seven point seven on yeah some
point is this is this is this is a C
plus movie. Yeah, not not in a bad way. I
wasn't expecting a my A plus. I wasn't expecting endgame.
I was expecting please just be kind of good. I
didn't get kind of I got pretty good. I think.
I think that's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
And here's what you guys have said, and that's why
we prompted it. Now you guys get to see your
extra reviews.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
JB.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Perry said Breveny Would was a very solid eight point five.
The only downside I had with it is the whole
build up the Red Hulk we knew he was coming
because the trailer. Just wish they had spoiled it in
the previews. But a lot of fun, laugh out loud moments,
and I feel like Sam give me to see him
as grounded the character in the best way, and that
he loves him and Bucky together. Also, the mini Black
(21:25):
Widow was a choice he wanted more. Isaiah. Aaron Giles
said this might have been the worst Cat movie only
because the first three sets such high bars. Yeah, I
think I've seen a lot of people are like, let's
rank all the Captain America movies, like we know where
they are gonna be. Yeah, Honestly, Aaron says, I was
locked in up until right after the almost war in
(21:48):
the Indian Sea. Also, Big missed opportunity not keeping Red
Hulk as in movie reveal a fake out death or
an attack on the level the Vienna bombing would have
helped to In terms of stakes, Buddy says, like many
of the new Marvel and Star Wars project, it doesn't
deserve blind hate. He gives it a six and a
half out of ten. He says, I enjoy my guy.
(22:11):
Sam Wilson is his favorite Avenger, But they could have
done his guy better. Uh, and yeah, pretty much everyone
kind of saying, you know, not really liking the Black
Widow lady and mister blue Leg like a human booger.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Yeah, he's right, though, I think the argument to be
made the movie could have ended with the Indian Notion fight.
That was a tense scene. That was a really really
tense scene. And maybe I don't know, the red Hawk
scene is a teaser for that actually would have fight
with Thunderbolts. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah, well, like, and the rumor is now and this
is obviously it's Marvel rumors. You take everything for your annsault.
So Harrison Ford is reprising his role as Thunderbolt Ross
and there's a slash Red Hulkin there. I wouldn't be
surprised if he makes a cameo in Thunderbolts, because I mean,
he kind of gots to when it named after your character.
(23:03):
But I mean, I think I'm pretty much just kind
of thinking about the movie too, kind of the same
regard as you got you are and everyone comment and
then it's good it, you know, we finally this movie
kind of let's sweet thing, let's sweep things under the rug,
let's get out of the you know, all the all
the hens and back in the coop, you know with
Adam and tm Ta Mutt and and all that stuff,
(23:25):
and technically mister Blue if you're the leader. Stuff. Yeah,
I think overall good and we'll see what happens next.
I think what Thunderbolts would really either sink or swim
this movie. I think a little bit too to an agree.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
At this point. I feel like Thunderbolts boats can't fail.
Both can't Like it can't fail. Also like there's no
way this movie is bad. Yeah, look the trailers like
they having so much fun. Every interview you see with
any of the cats, like yo, that we had so
much fun on set of ridiculous. Like I feel like
that movie is literally at least that movie is below
and I'll say it after reviews release, if it's below
a eighties eighty five on rot Tomatoes, I'll be presley surprised.
(24:03):
I feel like that's gonna be really really.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Good, and I will say, like it's been cool really
Like Anthony Mackie is an actor that like he will
do those press things and like he like he's going
to theater feater doing surprise screenings and stuff, which is cool.
But I think the movie's already made back one ninety,
which is what they used to make the film. So
that's always a good thing to hear that. So you know,
above all, even if it's bad, it's a Marvel movie,
(24:25):
so it's still going to do pretty well.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
It'll probably top out. I'll say that the Max Goos
was probably something around somewhere around three fifty to four hundred,
and I think that's a win.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Honestly.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I think the first eventually made like four hundred, and
it wasn't until Winter Soldier in Civil War.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
If people kept watching it.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Guess yeah, So, uh, this is movie I'll revisit. I
haven't really revisited. Only the only movies I really revisited
out of Phase four were Shaun che and Doctor Strange,
Multiverse of Madness. I've only watched Man four once and
that's when we saw it. I've never gone back to it.
Throw it up in Thunder. I've watched it twice because
(25:05):
I watch sees. I didnt say anything with this one.
I want to watch it with you, to watch it
with her the weekend. No, the other ones I have,
I can't remember. I watched Black Widow. I remember the
last time I seen E Turtles. You know, I like
E Turtles. I've watched it a long time. But yeah,
this one is someone I can see going back to this.
This is a very very easy watch too. It's nothing
(25:25):
too dense about it, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah, I think the other thing is so more it
does It isn't really super in the marvel right now,
just because you know there's not. Actually we watched that
pull Wolverine. I think that was an exception. So like
a lot of the movies and shows, it's really can
we get her in, like she watched wond Division or
not Agatha all along because you know, continuation of that
WandaVision and you know Agatha Harkness, isn't it. This is
(25:50):
one I think she'll watch maybe on Disney Plus. Like
she hasn't even seen Wakana forever still because she's like,
I don't want to be emotional like that movie.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
And Kevin is not a movie you just throw it.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
We need to talk about it. Because I saw on
TikTok and I said to you, that trailer is so
damn good for that movie. I was like, I've seen
this movie and I'm getting goost bumps. Still with this
damn trailer. All right, Oh my god, it's so good
good trailer. So, uh, Marvel, get your issh together, your
trailer's right again.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
I mean I will. I think, I think we'll kind
of everybody might be my new Batman verus Superman. I
want to big that movie to anybody that's just like
good or bad. Here's why I did this part. That's
why I did that. You ever feel this? I feel
like I want to big that movie to anybody who
say this suck. I know what did it suck? You
are just students.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Don't understand. You don't understand it's still real to be
damn it and it's still real me.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
But we are technically on the road to Avengers Day,
which is the next Avengers movie. But until we get there,
we still have Daredevil, which comes out literally like three weeks,
so when Kev's on vacation we can talk about that.
We have a couple of episodes of a Friend of
the neighborhood spider Man, Thunderbolts Fantastic four. Iron Heart comes
(27:04):
out at some point in there too, and then Marvel
Zombies doesn't count, but that's in Fantastic four, and then
the next ding. We assume it as Adventures dooms Day.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
I think, oh yeah, I meant to tell you this
to my theater experience. You have been to a warehouse cinema.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
I have not. I've seen about TikTok though it's.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Kind of like a I don't know, draft house light
kind of compared it to They have beer on tap there,
which is really cool. The food food is pretty good.
I was mad because when I went there to I
wanted her to see Wish last year with my daughter,
and they had these really amazing onion rings. They don't
have them anymore.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Maybe it just like there it points off the board.
Don't have my onion rings, damn you.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
But the food is pretty good. The in theater experience
was great. The seats were comfortable, sound was good. The
person I was sitting next to was the issue. Okay,
so I thought I had to see empty movie. So
I was sweet about here, it's gonna be great. And
maybe like four minutes into the movie, I after it
went dark, that person showed up like god, dang it,
(28:07):
put put it back on my lap and as soon
as he walked by me and the cloud of marijuana
smoked that he just got out of just walked over.
Oh my gosh, it's gonna be a thing, isn't it.
So he sat down and got comfortable, maybe like another
ten minutes into the movie. I just had from marijuana smoke.
I just smelled his liquor that he was pouring into
his drink, and I was like, oh my gosh, here
(28:29):
we go. So the movie he goes on one and
then the part after the tempted assassination on Harrison Ford,
he had that tense conversation when he when he talks
to the Harrison Ford's secret six servers guy, I'm gonna
have to be that guy, and she goes, what kind
of guy? This dude yells at the top of his
lungs a N word. What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
No, No, don't don't do that. Hey, did he play
footsie with you?
Speaker 2 (28:55):
No? He didn't.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Very uncoreful.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Thought word to yell out in that point of Baltimore.
At least it's loud on top of your lungs. He
wasn't apologetic about it. But this dude just got I
guess he just got drunkards.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
As the movie went on, and all of a sudden,
the foot's coming out of nowhere to grab Kevin, and.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
It was worse than that. He was laughing with me
on parts that were funny, but he had that whiskey
laugh and I could smell on his I'm.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Like, I'm not with him. I'm not with him. I
don't know you.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
I want to switch seats, but I can't because I
gotta be I gotta be a man to protect my
wife because this guy might be drunk and high. So
that was that was the experience with him. Next time
I book a seat, we're going back to reserves. He
then going back to say the mark, I can't do
it again. Send among the common people. That's what happened.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
That is what happens. But Kevin, let's keep it moving.
We're done talking about Captain America. It's time to talk
about Invincible season three, episode four, So let's brea go
ahead one more time too. Don't you worry? Aaron Grau
said he sat next to a mouth breather. Uh yeah,
(30:10):
take that as well.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Can I get some popcord? Not as match?
Speaker 1 (30:22):
That was asmr by the podcast. So, Kevin, we are
four episodes in Invincible. Have you caught up? This is
my first question.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
I have caught up and I will say, one defining
thing that I've already texted you before we start recording
this episode. Oliver sucks.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Oliver kid omni man, which still doesn't make sense because
you can't be a kid man. But okay, good point.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
I don't like my character at all. Yeah, he ugh
is that thing I always say when kids are annoying
in any kind of medium like this TV show, movie,
they make watching experience do them.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Yeah, But I feel like the point though, at least
why they include him, and I know, the Invincible comics
or graphic novels, it's they kind of bit pit picked
and pulled from a lot of it, so like you
could be you have there's ten volumes of the Invincible
Thing that I collect and they're like we're on two still,
you know, So it's this whole thing. But I think
(31:24):
this is really more they've included him to. I think
eventually we get to that end of the season to
show like, hey, Mark, you know you are not realizing
that he is your your brother is looking at you,
they say, where you were looking at your dad? So
like you need alter your behavior because really got an
emo Mark this entire season with the blue suit, you know.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah, so watching Episode two was really qo wepisode because
I kind of like watching basically Origin. The way he
was arguing with him was like, dude, oh in the
fight in that episode, my god, she just kissed really good.
But it's funny watch the show to that. You know,
as a kid, you're watch the things you think you're
the hero because you watching do that really no obsessible, Like, dude,
(32:07):
what are you doing? Like I'm trying to help.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Why you keep coming into my government building? Just leave? Please,
We're trying to separate ways. You keep coming back here.
You don't live here anymore. Get out. But yeah, I mean,
this episode I thought was really cool because it was
payoff to a couple of things. First one being you
know Zolo mar duenas two twin characters. Yeah, we find
(32:33):
out that they're from the future, that they stole the
Declaration of Independence because there's apparently the ink on it
they thought would kill their king. No, so they recruit
Mark to help them. And with anything with time travel,
there's a cyclical nature to it, so that was a
little fun little like what do I do if I close?
Don't worry about it? Your future Mark taking its clothes bed?
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Why that looks so sad.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
You'll find out. You'll find out. But we find out
that future we're old or whatever it is, Uh Invincible
has left. He made the king in charge, and we
find out that king is who keV Immortal? Immortal and
he crazy? He looked crazy.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
He he was killed at the beginning of season one
and had like a time out, and now he's back.
It doesn't seem that crazy. I wonder if he needs
to be killed every one hundred years or so.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Just do we start the brain? You know, it's like
we're starting the car after you haven't started it a
little bit.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
It's like he's been way too long on market. You
have to kill me, please killing me.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
But we do get this good fight of like Immortal saying,
like Invincible, you caused this, but you know it's Invincible
in the future we won't know obviously because this mark
doesn't is it going to do that? And they do
get this good fight. Eventually, Mortal says, you know, if
you're not gonna do it, I'm gonna make you and
pretends to kill Zolomar Duina's characters, which Cobra kayrapt up to.
(34:00):
We'll talk about that whenever I finished it. But then
eventually Invincill does kill him. All the robots that he
controls turn off immediately, and he tells the kids, hey,
just bury his body part separately or he's going to
reatach and he's not going to be happy about it.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
You know. Yeah, it was funny. He was so just
destruck because I mean, he just told his brother, don't
kill it, kill kill him. Well, now I got to
kill somebody. I did enjoy that part of it kind
of was like he's trying to what he preached, but
he literally can't.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Yeah. I do think also now that we are three, yeah,
three seasons into this show, I think they need to
stop with the fake credit credits because because they did
it again this time, like there is thirty minutes left,
we do not need to tease credits anymore like this.
It was cool the first season, but now we get it.
I was watching that and I was like, where is
(34:57):
the Tiger Man? Toty told me about the Tiger Man
coming back?
Speaker 2 (35:00):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (35:04):
But they do the fake credit out, which is an
invincible staple, and we find out it is Nolan and
Alan the alien played by Seth Rogen, that are pretty
much doing a prison break and uh right before Nolan
gets executed. Uh. At Alan the alien breaks all the
prisoners free. They're all cannon fodder at first. Then he
goes to the Mega one and it's none other than
(35:25):
Tiger Man himself, formerly known as battle Beast in the
Invincibal comics. It is Stephen Dorn I think, right, okay, Stephen,
he's a really good Oh wait no, maybe that's.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
The guy from he was in the Star Wars show.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Boys, Michael Dorn Sorry, Michael Doron, Michael Doron, Okay, yes,
Coreg he's from Star Trek Wharf.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Yeah, oh okay, cool.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Yeah, but I thought it was really cool. It's cool
to get you know, a battle Beast mentioned really more
than anything because he popped in, he killed one of
the vulturemites and then just floats away in space and
like we'll see him eventually laid down the road. Again,
don't worry who caught him, because he's a pretty bad dude. Yeah,
(36:12):
I thought the fight was cool there. Obviously, we now
have Alan and Nolan working together their friends. Nolan does
reveal that they're only fifty now probably forty eight actual
proper vulture mites, so that's why they've conquering systems and
infiltrating things because they can while they can, and it
looks like probably at some point it is going to
(36:33):
be you know, Nolan Alan and all these filter mite
hybrid children going up against the purebread. So it's kind
of a slithering route right there.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
I kind of like that that. I thought that that
was like a big story point that they're only like
fifty filter mites left. That's pretty cool. Not pretty cool,
but that's pretty cool. I wonder what's killing them, Like,
is there like a virus or is it just like
they just kill each other cause violent people people.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
Yeah, we will find out obviously next week. But I
do think the show has been great. I think animation
for I think for this season has at least for me,
has improved a little bit. But once we get these
middle episodes Willee, because's usually where they try to hide
all the like, oh they're not talking about they're talking animations.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Well, the first four of this year. I complayed the
first four last year a lot better because that the
animation also is more focused, because it was like the
last year it was like it's Mark then nor a Mark,
I'm going somewhere else. We wanted a different, different world.
Don't worry about it somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Now.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah, I'm actually I might really enjoying these first these
first couple of ones.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
I think also they did have its team team or
whatever the new team is, uh that I think it
has been good so far because it is those characters
that we actually liked from the whatever the Justice League
knockoff was, I don't remember if the top of my head,
(37:57):
the Defender of the Guy whatever though, and it's like, yeah,
these are the because we care about we want to
see Jason man Zuka's character, you know, do fun stuff.
And one day we'll find out. Are they going to
cure this damn goblin girl from her goblin disease? She turns,
she gets younger or older, she gets younger. Guardians the Globe, yes,
thank you are.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
And girls Guardians Globe. Yet, Yeah, the figure that out
because that's kind of sad because she's she's a goblin
a lot.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
It's funny because I saw a TikTok of the first
season when they're all being like recruited to the Guardians
and you're like, oh, yeah, she's like taller and sounds
a little older than what she is. Now, So that's
kind of cool too.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
That's a good point. But yeah, all this stuff has
been great so far that the episode is called this
was supposed to be easy, So I wonder what this
is about. Maybe more about Mark trying to be invincible.
And also I'm kind of hoping for Mark and Cecil,
like I don't know, they hook it out, kiss and makeup,
you know, yeah, because I mean that's the way, is it.
(38:53):
I love that Lina had this movie you can even be,
you can even be you save the world or be
a good guy. I love that so but as it
because it's kind of true.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Sadly, unfortunately.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
It was the same line from Black Panther. It was
a good man. You're a good man, but a good
man can't be king, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
But Kevin on the flip side of Invincible, our other
one word show that we love to talk about right now, Severance,
season two, episode four, five I don't remember five? Five? Yeah, five,
Let's break it down, break it up, breaking up, breaking down,
(39:37):
breaking down on now the good Lord? All right? Uh so,
season two episode five, correct, Thank you Kevin called Trojan's Horse. Kevin,
you have seen all of the episodes of this season.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
Correct, No, I won't see I'm actually looking right or
now I think I'm only thatisode six.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
All right, So what did you think about this episode?
Speaker 2 (40:05):
I had to go back and pull them up because
I watched it two weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Oh yeah, it did happen.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
Yeah, I've only seen the first six. Uh. This episode
was again another master masterclass.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Is just storytelling and micro acting, you know, just micro mannerisms,
just kind.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Of bringing you along that list. But we're not giving everything,
like everything, but come on, you don't like this part,
you like this part. The funeral for for with the
bird Irving. Irving was really cool, and and the revelation
from that Helly actually being Helly again was that this
episode yes, correct, yes, okay, Helly again was pretty cool.
(40:46):
And mil Chick is clearly like I'm done with all
yeah manager at McDonald's.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
So yeah, and I think because I think Kevin's trying
to avoid spoilers here, but this episode really Kep said,
we have the funeral for Irving, we did have really
mil Check getting his performance review, which leads to him
kind of all right, I'm tightening the leash essentially at
the end of this episode and kind of getting a
couple more steps into finding out what Mark is being
(41:17):
reintegrated sort of You're like, are you you which one
are you right now? Because for the most of this
episode you think it's normal Mark in there and not
really caring about what happens to the innies. And then
I think when he gets like he gets a couple
of headaches and coughs, you're like, oh, Mark as is
trying to come through a little bit, and then cares
a little bit towards the end of episode.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
That the execution of whatever Mark student is going to
be what I think, how do you remember the season
because it goes if it goes off like a dud
and or just confusing in general, people are I'm not
gonna like it, but if they hit it at the park,
this might be one of the greatest season on the
TV of all time.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
Yeah right now. We also get the scene where Dylan
does look at the hang in there sign and it
is Irving essentially mapping out his steps to get to
that hallway, seeing the exports hallway, which at the beginning
of this episode we find out that a dentist is
(42:12):
approaching I guess the I call it the archive room
with like Bird's department and he pulls dental equipment out.
H what is that for? Is he pulling out the
little pill they'll injection slot for irving or not. We'll
find out in your future because he pops out of
the exports or pops into the exports hallway. Just kind
(42:33):
of cool little mystery there. I do really love the
scene where like Helly is trying to catch up with
Mark and it's there in the bathroom and it's that
mirror so you're like, oh, it's Helly here, but it's
also her mirrored self to kind of be like who
are you talking to her? Or Helena? Which is really cool.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
Again, we're gonna give you little little move everything.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
Yeah, I think I think it's Natal Natty or Natalie
is the like the speaker for the board lady. Yeah,
she's just like what did you say?
Speaker 2 (43:03):
She's terrifying.
Speaker 1 (43:03):
Yeah, And you're like, you don't have an opinion. You
were literally just a husk right now, like no personality,
because even Milchick's like, so what did you think about
those portraits he gave to me? And she's like she
does that kind of dead pants stare that's in Get
Out when he starts asking when when Daniel Klewis starts
(43:23):
asking people like what's going on here? And then he
gets his performance through, which is kind of is like, oh,
you did great, but actually you did real bad. You
did real be done, goof for real bad.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
I mean under his watch, we've had u what attempted
murder when he was in charge last year. They get
they got out and literally they got out literally because
of what what she called it. He has not had
a great first couple of months as manager at all.
He's trying God bless him.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
And then obviously Milchiic says, you know, I'm going to
tighten the leash, and we get this great scene kind
of a line divide, which is a big film technique
is when you have two opposing sides, you have like
a line, whether it's like a hallway wall pale or something,
and Miltchik is like, he crosses the line. He said,
so did you tell Helly about sleeping with her? Audi like, oh,
(44:18):
Miltchiic doesn't hold nothing back now.
Speaker 2 (44:20):
He is he is upset. We also got the cool
scene of Irving meeting Christopher Walken's can outside and he's like, yeah,
I think we probably had something going on inside of there?
Did the Luman predict that you know, two Audi's we
find each other after they have no idea what's going
(44:41):
on the inside, because they wouldn't know that they worked
for each other at all. Only reason that he knows
something up because.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Well, and that's the thing we're still trying to plot
and theorize, like is this whole town controlled by lumen
and stuff? So you like everyone living there works at
lumin kind of like a my old school mining town.
That's and it's exciting. How we thought about Dylan's wife.
We're like, oh, she is a security guard because she
was wearing security guard clothes or something when she was
leaving for work like two episodes ago.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Yeah, I just called through episode make sure I was
about to say two things are hootspoiled?
Speaker 1 (45:12):
Your ass was That's why I had to control Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
I was like, I don't want to say that because
I'm not sure if what episode happened, and so I'm
gonna be quiet.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Yeah, but I think overall, oddly enough, some of the
reviews on this show, I don't know where the thin
because I love this like it is, I have to
do dedicate sit down focus of a show but besides that,
I enjoy all fifty minutes of it every time.
Speaker 2 (45:34):
That's because like shows like this, shows like Last of Us,
shows like even Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon,
you have to watch. You can't have your phone out
googling who wasn't what? Like Invincible, good show, you don't
have to pay attention to it un percent all the time.
You know, I'm sure Daredevil will be changing that as well.
(45:54):
We're gonna be in a pretty good show. But I
don't have to pay atention to it. Twenty four to
seven seven demands your attention because there's things going on that,
you know, like you said that the mirror thing having
both sides of Helly and Helena on both sides, you know,
the the drawings of of uh that Irving made uh
(46:16):
to kind of kind of figure out where it's go.
Even the slight stuff like you know.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
What, what is our MVP's name again, Zach er or Dylan?
Speaker 2 (46:28):
His his his Audi? His any meeting the wife and
I gotta asking these questions like there's something going on
there because he is way too interested and she's got
and why would she even say yes to that? I
don't know. I'm a composed question to you because we're
woking Mary people. If More was severed, which want to
be seven more?
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Would I want to meet?
Speaker 2 (46:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (46:49):
I think yes because seven more is part of Maura.
You know, it's it's a whole thing of like nature
versus that's a whole nature versus nurture design there, Kevin
like could be here all day like, well, you know,
I did teacher, you know, twenty years of education in
twenty minutes, you know, or whatever.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
The I don't think I want to make seven Elisia.
I gotta start all over again. I put ten years,
but more than fifteen years into this right now, I
don't want.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
To Well, you know what your battle plan is, Kevin.
You know it'll work. It worked the first time. True.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
But that's that's for out Llegia, not for any Elitia.
I don't know. I'm not I'm a master strategist by
a need time to play, and I can just go
do it on random Wednesday, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
I had a podcast. I don't have time for that.
It's random, come to the people. Would any Alicia watch
the podcast? That's a good point. That's a good point.
Question is the ponder that thank God we don't have
to actually ponder. Yeah, overall, I'm digging this show. I
(47:46):
think we are in a good time right now for
weekly TV shows. With these two shows, obviously we have
your friendly neighborhood spider Man as well. Uh so spreading
love really Beast games is.
Speaker 2 (47:56):
Okay, I'll talk about that anymore. Thank god, you know,
good job.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Uh but anything else, keV, because I mean, this is
all the news we had were we talked a lot
less on Thursday about CAP.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
So I will say the next episode, yeah, I mean I.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Have a feeling because this this was the like, all right,
let's get our hands in order and get ready because
now at least she's tightened, as many people have said.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
I will say for the next episode, to make sure
it's not too warm in your house, because.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
I'm not sweat. I don't know Steamy, what steam. I
don't know what that means. I don't know if I
want to know what that means, keV. And I don't
know what that means. I don't want to know what
it means. But that does it for us this week. Yeah,
this episode's a little shorter, but you know, our CAP
review is rule long, so we are balancing it as
(48:51):
all things should be.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
I think a next month former people will be Funnables.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Right most likely yes, most likely Kevin did the math.
Speaker 2 (49:02):
After that will be Superman m hm, and.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
Maybe Dressing Park. Maybe only Loan Stitch, well leoist. This
would be quick because we know what that movie's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
But that doesn't move. But I can't fail. I have
no that movie is dead pained by critics. I'm like,
shame on you.
Speaker 1 (49:18):
You know what it is. We liked it back in
two thousand and three.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
You know you like you know exactly big write in
an article You're wrong, You're wrong, you were wrong, good sir.
Speaker 1 (49:29):

Underscore Pods as well. But as we're getting ready for
Kevin's Disney trip in a couple of weeks. Just know
there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow. That's right. I've watched
a lot of the Disney documentaries and somehow convinced more
to watch them too. I'll talk about that on Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
Don't worry, Oh we do do with you.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
That'd bet see. There's one on Hulu. It's pretty good.
The History Channel did it. So it's a little it's
a little outside. It's how Disney made America. And uh,
it's a little bit different because not all the Disney
ones are a little bit like we worship Walt Disney
and everything. This one being very yeah and very in
the History Channel granted Hulu, uh a little bit takes
(50:34):
a step back from that, which is good, you know,
the step outside of the Disney bubble, which is good.
This one.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Coin of the actors being Disney and Roy.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Yes. Yes, it was kind of like a drunk history
but more informational.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
But not the drunk part is just the history.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
I mean, I don't want to see that anyway. Check
that out. What's on Wednesday and Thursday, and we'll obviously
talk about your friendly Neighborhood Spider Man final two EPs.
Let's come out this week? Wait right, yeah, no next.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
Year, this week. No, we're done.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Now we're done. I wanted going to be over. That
was a great three weeks. It's great three weeks. Well,
I said, uh, but you've officially listened to this Monday episode?
What keV crisis on infinite but can.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
Come on hooks. Let me see it, will see
