episodes as far as back before the pandemic, which is
kind of crazy to say we've been on YouTube for
almost five years now, that's surprising, that's crazy. But also

(01:15):
if you want to join us laugh in the chat

because we have jobs and we're busy, so we just

(01:57):
do this for fun and to hang out with you guys.
But we would great appreciate it if you do that.
Twitch the TV such into Underscore Pods, Amazon dot Com, Slash.
I think it's prime gaming is the daily, but it
tells you'll do all that right there, so as we
always do. The first thing we do on this podcast
called what You're Doing, we'll talk about the games we play,

(02:18):
show's been watching, lives we've been living. Usually I go
for some money, but we have such an illustrious guest
here all the way from La La Land. I think
it's only right to have Big Mike tell us what
you're doing? Man?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
What am I doing? U? Currently?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
I am raising a boxer puppy, Lucy, and I lost
our other dog, Freya back in March, and uh, for
some reason, we decided that we didn't have enough chaos
in our lives and we got an eight week old
boxer puppy who is now seventeen weeks.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
And that's been most of my summer.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
It has been locked in this apartment as we go
through vaccines to get the puppycated. But while I've been
locked in this apartment, I have been playing some video games.
Obviously College College Football twenty six, Madden twenty six, and
then I just jumped back into the Division.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Two with the new DLC SO those are the things
that I've been doing.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Oh my, the Division. I haven't heard that game. And
I remember I was really big into the Division for
like six solid months and then yeah, the pandemic happened
and got way too real for me and I had
to stop playing.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah yeah, yeah, it gets a little close to home
when you're playing it. But now that we're through the
through the Pandemic, I feel like I can hop back
in it. And they do have a new DLC. So
if you have it and you bought the season past
or whatever it is when you inventially bought Division two,
they do have a new DLC.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Interesting again, I haven't played since twenty twenty twenty. What's
it like now, like as far as like playing online
with people because it is a Destiny Slash Fortnite style game,
whereas seasons and is also basically kind of like an MMO.
So what's it like compared to when it played? I
know you played Lunch as well. It was like compared
to play on Playing and Launch.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
I mean it's still active, there are still people in there.
I just dreamed into some like a a co op
mission the other day and it was it was active.
I dreamed into several people still populating things. So I
think the DLC has helped bring some things back. Plus
I think you'll be so often starting to announce some
more things that they're going to probably be servicing. I

(04:34):
don't know how much longer they're going to be servicing
the Division two, but it seems to be fresh. A
lot of more people are hopped back on it, and
so I think if you haven't gotten the game, this
might be a good entry point with the New Brooklyn
DLC because it's taking you back to New York. I
think the series, the first one originated in New York,

(04:54):
and I think they're the new DLC takes you back
to New York, but I think it takes you to Brooklyn,
Glynn Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
That's interesting. I still actually have that on my Xbox One.
Like I said, I haven't played it in such a
long time. Maybe if I have some time, might just
read download that and just see if I can get
because I have fun with the game. Yeah again, kind
of like other loose shooters like Death Destiny to Borderlands
and this one, this one felt a little bit more

(05:21):
and they're gonna get wrong. I love Destiny. That love
Destiny a lot, it's it's drugs. So I don't play
that munch anymore because once I play it, I am
I'm locked in. And then then suddenly bills aren't getting paid.
UH kids are crying diapers on the ground, like, oh shoot, I.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Have other things to do, so I had to quit
that other responsibility.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
And then Nintendo Mic in the chat is like it's
like my my drug. He come on one more hit,
Like stop it, Mike, leave me alone. But I remember
really loving like like the dense realism of UH Death
Division because actually each gun felt different, you know what
I mean, just like just wailing on the trigger. Each
guy actually felt different, and the tactics felt like legit,

(06:00):
like what grinlal warlfare would be. Like, I'll never be
in the army in military, I'm too over the now,
but it kind of felt like what it would be like.
So maybe now Mike's big, Mike's my drug dealer. Now
I'm trying to tip me in getting into Dision. I mean,
I mean, I've always loved the games, so the fact

(06:20):
that they are still giving you DLCs and stuff like that,
I love that. I think it's like year seven, since
it's been out seven years.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
It's been out a while. Yeah, so I was. I
just dabbled my toe in it last night.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
But I was like, yeah, okay, this is something I
can play when I'm not playing all these football games
and all that stuff like that. But Borderlands four is
getting ready to come out, so my my slate is
about to be really full when it comes to video games.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
My manager actually he took off of Borderlands off the
whole week it comes out. Love it and it's funny
To get him back. I actually got it was funny.
I played like a little joke on him. When they
released the new release date of THRETA six, I put
in time off for the whole week. But I did
it before the current year of the timeline, so you
thought I put in a week off in a week.

(07:10):
We noticed. He was pissed. I'm like, look at the
look at the date.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Ask you, this says twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Speaking football games. By the way, you said, man, twenty six,
I've been twenty six as well. What's your opinion on
this year is? Because I don't know how I feel
about it yet.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I haven't gotten too far into it.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I've just been playing Superstar because i've been so deep
into the dynasty of college football twenty six, so I
haven't started my dynasty of Magne yet, but it definitely
seems faster than last year. Yes, last year seemed very slow.
Even gameplay seems slow. But I also think that there's
they need to tweak the quarterback to receiver connection. Yeah,

(07:52):
it feels like a lot of drop balls.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
That that's my my main complaint. I'm like either, of course,
I'm a Raven fan playing with Lamar Jackson, and Lamar
does have a unique delivery of the football, But I
feel like sometimes if the guy's wide open down the
field and I'm pressed square, he's throwing like a I
don't know, a Pop Warner guy, Like why would you
throw the ball like that? Like that makes no sense?

(08:17):
And then even like yeah there's a the contested catches
are like okay, I get him a contested catch, but
you have to drop everyone, Like can I get like
two out of five? Maybe?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah? Yeah, it just seems like a lot of drop balls.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
And people have complained about how the defenses, but I
think I think they just need to tweak it and
kind of balance it a little bit more, because even
there are times where it feels like there's a delay
even throwing.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, like it won't let you throw. It's supposed to be.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
A quick pass and it's open and you hit the
button and then it's no longer open, and then you
press it twice there's an interception.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Now yep, so.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Let's not just go ahead.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I thought it just me.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Not just me, No, definitely not you.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Uh. For some reason, college football seems to have that down. Yeah,
like that delivery service and how to pass the ball.
For some reason, I'm not sure why Madden doesn't doesn't
do the same thing as College Football twenty six, but
for some reason they have it down Madden.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I it's beyond me why they haven't figured that out yet.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, and then even I had to kind of tune
the running game stats slider to two because it feels
like the defensive line. I don't care what line you
play against, defensive line is gonna win every time, and
there's no chance you run the ball. It's like, come on,
I get that.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
You know.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I'm not the best man. I'm not the man player
I used to be in my teens, but I can
run about five yards like this is this is ridiculous, right,
But it's good to hear all that. What's gonna go
on here in your world of things? When it comes
back to the puppy, how is the people moving around?
It's because I'm dealing with the puppies. How's how's like?

(10:04):
You know the I guess the house training going on?
That she no want to tell you that when it's
time to go out, you know what I mean? How's
that going?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Great?

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Great question, because, Uh, if anyone knew our previous boxer,
her name was Freya, she was great.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
She was.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Very calm, did not like a lot of people. I
used to say that Freya had a very stringent vetting process.
And once you've been vetted, you're good. But there are
most people didn't pass and this one is uh. And
so when it comes to boxers, boxers are called forever puppies.
Freya very much was the exception, not the rule. Bertie,

(10:47):
her name is Bertie.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
She is the rule when it.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Comes to boxers. Like she does all the typical things
boxers do. She's high strung, she does not like to
be contained. She's a jumper, all the things Frey was not. So.
Needless to say, Frey did not prepare us for a
Birdie Lee, And so it's been an interesting summer because
the one thing they don't tell you is that you

(11:12):
have to be quarantined with a puppy until it's fully vaccinated.
You can't take it any you can't really take it
to a puppy park to get out of the energy,
you can't really put her. We couldn't put her on
the ground.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
All of those things.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
So I didn't see any of the blackbustern movies that
I wanted to see this summer. And just because we
were here with the puppy, she hates the crate, so
it becomes difficult to put her in the crate.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Because we live in an apartment.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
We're not trying to distrob our neighbors, trying to be
respectful of them as well.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
But it's been interesting.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Like I do a podcast called Reparenting for the Culture,
and the host she has six kids, and when I
told her I was getting a puppy, she said to me,
and I quote, puppies are harder than babies.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Yeah, cause babies learn how to talk eventually.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
And so when a mom of six and also inside
that six she has a pair of twins, tells you
that babies are harder than a baby's are easier than puppies.
After my summer in the last nine to ten weeks,
I believe.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Her, Like I mean, Kira is eighteen months, I think
about to be nineteen months and she gets she gets
to the point now where she can't verbalize that she
wants a cookie, but she can know it's going to
kitchen the point you know what I mean, it's getting
a little easier. So and actually we have a dog
now and listen to the fuck is no Cody like
a little jack rustle Teria mix. And before that they

(12:40):
wanted to get a puppy. I was like, we have
a newborn. You want to add a puppy to this
for craziness? No, yeah, not happened.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Don't do that to yourself. Don't do that to yourself.
A friend of mine was like, oh, puppy, I want one,
and I go, no, you don't.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
It's not for the week man, like you just you
gotta strap in, buckle up, and fingers crossed that you
make it to the finish line, which is like a year. Yeah,
to like for things to kind of settle down, if
they settle down, But everything is though.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Is I would imagine because again Cody. I think Cody's
two something like that. So we have to get to
know each other, whereas a puppy a year or two
down the road, y'all can be know each other like
back in her hands, So the common communication will be
a lot easier. Of course it's right now, it's tough,
but you getting down the road, it be a little
easier to figure out what's going on with it.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Yeah, as soon as I can be able to drop
her off at daycare and get her trained, the happier
I will be. Because I also, like you mentioned, my
trade is podcasting, so I work from home.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Yep, I make my money podcasting.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
It's hard to do that when you have a dog
who hates the crate and refuses to go in, and
like will bark profusely while they're in the crate. So
I am counting the days when I can put her
in daycare. It will be one of the best days
of my life.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
And then again again, opposite to parenting, I'm counting the
days I can bring care back out of daycare because
I'm tired of paying for it.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Yeah, so again, I know a lot of people like
to argue about the whole dog parent thing, but it's
real very much. I'm sorry. I know it's not a thing.
I'm like to each his own, but I'd rather have
a baby than a puppy. Honestly, I'd rather listen. I

(14:31):
learned my lesson this summer. I agree with you now,
So going on with me this weekend. Had to work
this weekend actually was kind of sucked. I had to
work the Oriole game from the studio on Saturday, which
is always kind of fun but also nerve racking because
there's a lot going on. If you ever listen or
watch live sports, it's more going on in what you
think and where we are. We're scrambling and for you

(14:55):
the listener or a watcher, so you're welcome. So did
that on on a Saturday. Sunday was a chill day.
I just had to go get some last minute things
for Leah for school. And I found out didn't know
this that Costco doesn't take a MasterCard. Found out the
hard way. Uh, what to pay for my stuff? Yeah?

(15:15):
To pay for my stuff? Like, nah, we won't take
a mask card. I'm like, you mean, I don't take
Massacred twenty twenty five. Everybody takes everything you know what
I mean. But if they said like discover, okay, I
kind of get it. But massacred is it basically won
in one A you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Standard?

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Yeah, standard standard. But the.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Embarrassing thing though, was like one of the cards getting
declined because it's a massacred and don't make a mass card.
Leah starts crying, But what am I going to eat
for school? I'm like, don't you dare? Cry like we're
poor and it's in this grocery line. We ain't rich,
but I got some money to pay for these groceries.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
So there you go. Yeah, don't don't let your kid cary.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Don't let your kid make other people think that you
can't afford your groceries.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Don't do that.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Honestly, Probab would have paid left. I should have pay
to pay for them, probably, but I don't want to
do that. I didn't want to do that.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Shack wasn't standing behind you in line exactly, by.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
The way, Shack, she really wanted this eighty seven pack
of chicken too. It's her favorite thing.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
But maybe this go cart, Shack, maybe this go cart
ended up.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
It's fine, we have we have Teddy on here. Barking
all the time. It's totally fine. Worry about it ended
up until again, it's twenty twenty five and in the
financial world, I was able to transfer money off my
credit card onto my Vemo card, which is a visa
I mean, on my cashup car with is a Visa card,
to pay for the groceries. It was just I'm like,
I'm really sitting here just wielding money like I'm a
rich man.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
It's just it's just sixty five dollars.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Like is that this is like from Fiddler on the
Roof if I was a rich man.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Exactly, take this card. I don't know what, I don't
know what's want to, but it'll get approved.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Take it.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
But after that, of course, today was the first day
of school here in Baltimore County, so I got to
take the kid to school, take one kid to dick here,
and then race on the other side of town to
go to school. And the way they do in her
school is they actually line up outside. All teachers have
like big old poster boards with their son missus johnson,
missus whatever, and they line up and then you actually

(17:15):
can walk you with your child into the school and
see where they're sitting, talk to the teacher a little bit,
see the classroom, and then you can head out. I
usually do that with her every year, but I thought
this year she wouldn't say no, Say no, Dad, I
want you to come. I'm like, so sweet, so did
that I met the teacher. I'm not totally okay with

(17:37):
my kid being in third grade. I don't know how
I feel about it because she's in my baby, but
she's definitely growing up and she has her own music taste,
her own guess. She wants to watch on TV, and
I'm like, I'm not used to be my little clone.
I can tell you to watch this and you can
watch it now. I don't. I don't like this. And
also she goes to the same school which my wife
teaches that and this is the first year and not
on the same floor, so like that security of dad,

(17:58):
like all right, something go down, she can run down
to the out the classroom together, but now that's not
there anymore. It's just like, oh no, they're separated. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
As a kid who whose parent was a teacher and
also taught in the same building as I went to school,
there is something to your parent not being on the
same floor. Yeah, there's a little bit of freedom to
it because you don't feel like it's an easy like
they can't easily get to you anymore.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Like there's got to be real intention.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
If your parents shows up in your classroom because of
how like because of the distance. So she may enjoy it,
I don't. It's not going to be easy to get
to her mom either, so that it's gonna require a
little bit of growing.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yeah, so I'm feel about that. So again, this is
a growing sprince for us, all for her and for
the parents because she It's funny because she's the firstborn.
But I imagine when Kira gets to this point, I'm like,
get in the classes, You're fine. Unfortunately, the youngest one
gets it, gets the shreds of the tired parent, not
the active first parent, first child parents. So we'll see

(19:06):
how that goes. And then also watch Peacemaker and we'll
get into that in a second. But now it's it's
not really much news news today. It's kind of a
couple of topics I wanted to touch on, So I'm
not going to play the sounder here. I'll save that
for And also, again, like I always do, I got
to load it, so I don't have it on hand
to get to you right now. But something I didn't

(19:27):
want to ask you about, Mike, we talked about you
dabble back into the division earlier, kind of an older game.
I want to ask you me. Do you had an
awesome confination of about a week or two ago about
games you just can't play anymore because they're either be
listed or they're hard to find. What's a game that
you play back in the day, you know your place

(19:47):
at PS one days, regular Xbox days. What's a game
that you love back in the day that you really
just can't play anymore you can't find it?

Speaker 3 (19:57):
Funny enough, the game it's on dream Cast and it's
called It's called NFL two.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
KL two K.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yes, that was the That was when Madden and ESPN
were had going to the NFL two K was going
head to head every week every year, who was the
best better football game?

Speaker 2 (20:14):
I remember that, Yeah, yeah, NFL two K. I I
enjoyed that game.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
So when they decided that they were gonna shut down
the dream servicing the Dreamcast in the in the games
that come with Dreamcast, I was very sad that day
when they when they decided they weren't real going to
make NFL two K because I enjoyed the game. It
felt it felt good, like it felt like the superior
game for such a long time because.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Madden was just the pit the pits in the early days. Right.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Yeah, So definitely NFL two K is the game that
I wish they bring back. And I heard they were
close to it and then the deal fell apart.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
I remember too, because that was back in the glorious
days were games were only fifty dollars to the seventy.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Dollars, Oh, the good old days.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
And I believe that that NFTK that have lunched for
that at like twenty bucks nineteen ninety nine, I believe
was it was the originally MSRP, so it was going
it was trying real hard to be mad now, but
man just had the name brand, kind of like Orioles.
And what was the other cookie that came out before
Oreoles but nobody cared about him?

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Dang it.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
I can't remember what it was, but there's a cookie
that launched before Orioles. It's the same as that cookie,
but they didn't have the marketing part of oriole Hads,
so nobody knows that cookie at all.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Really, Yeah, I can't remember what the.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Cookie is called.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Oh shoot, that's what they say about Ah, what is it?
It was before it was Uh, it came out around
the same time as VHS. Oh, I forget the name
of it. Not Beta, is it beta? Whatever it was
it was before v VHS.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Oh yeah, beta, yes, right? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Was it beta?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Yeah yeah Beta yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
So but because they didn't have as much marketing power,
VHS won out it.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
What's the name of that cookie?

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Dang it.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Hydro hydros hookies came out before Oreos, but the high
ros I do remember, and that's why nobody talks. People
see hidrocks hookiy to think they're oil, not call like
no oreoles the hydros knock off bunny.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
I do remember hydros and.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Also remember too that NFL two K. I remember that
they had a lot of features that Madden didn't have
until like versions came out later, Like the first person
thing didn't have it happened on Yeah, the NFL. Nobody
had a The way they stacked stack status and franchise
mode was on that first and that didn't have that
yet as well. It's funny how it all depends on

(22:38):
remember it wasn't t O when the cover. Yeah, the
realism is what I loved about UH two K NFL
two K. It looked so real, like you were controlling
these real bodies.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
And so I think that's what Madden eventually followed suit with,
is more of the realism of it.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Yeah, And I remember actually that year I got Madden
because I believe that was a year also that uh
Ray Loos is on the cover. Again, I'm a hometown
sports guy. I'm like, I gotta just put my guy,
Ray Lewis Sugar Ray.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I gotta get that.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
But it's funny.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
I believe there's a community out there that actually still
mods NFL two K every year to the current rosters,
so it's still kind of alive actually on piece.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
That's crazy. That's crazy. So if I still had my dreamcast,
I would I would love it. It might be I mean,
I don't know what like game Carrier takes it, I
mean still holds it. I don't know if this is
just like a Steam thing, but if you can find it,
if you can play NFL two K with updated the
rosters now, like it's still out there, it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
I would love it. I would love it. I may
have to find it.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
I'm thinking about getting into the team gaming more as
car gets older, because just because of the mods, the
mod stuff, like the mod stuff makes me I don't
I don't want to mind. I just want to download
cool mods and play games. Yeah, there's like the the
iron Man mod for g T A five. He plays
iron Man, but in Little Santo's it's pretty cool. I
don't know. Might I might have to get into that
as Care grows up a little bit more and I

(24:05):
can actually take more time into this cave I have
down here going forward before we get a peacemaker. That's
one thing also I want to talk about. But I
saw this this morning. I believe it was a It
was a Netflix post on Twitter advertising that on November
twelfth in Philadelphia. So if you're local here in the

(24:26):
DMV area, listening to our podcast might be available for you.
The Netflix House is opening up. Now, what are the
Netflix House, you ask? The Netflix House is basically a
exhibit where you can go inside and experience different Netflix
shows inside this this general space, and I think in
the King of Rusher Ball it's basically like their Halloween

(24:49):
Horror Nights but just for Netflix stuff and not just
based on horror. Basically they have a Wednesday, even though
Outcancers is kind of like a carousel. Basically, they have
like show themed food you can get, like I literally
saw a chicken and waffle sandwich theme to uh, Stranger Things,

(25:10):
which is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
They have a few things geared towards puts the name
of the show Hunger Game Hunger Games quick games where
you actually can play hot and seek with that giant,
creepy robot.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Thing that's so weird.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
And the thing theore thing about it is it's free
unless you want to do the different exhibits. So basically
you can walk around, but if you want to do something,
that's when they charge you, probably like the twenty five
to thirty bucks. I'm thinking each thing will cause but
I was thinking, I want to ask you what do
you think about this? Like, do you think if this
is successful, other studios might try to do pop up

(25:48):
things like this? I know out in LA they half
things like this, Like I remember season three A Stranger
Things that the ice cream store had to pop up
shot for like a couple of days. Do you think
this is something that could keep happening. If this is
successful from on the studios.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
I think for sure. I'm like, I mean, it's a
it's a great marketing ploy. Uh.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
I didn't go to a Netflix house, but I did
go to tere Mona House about two years ago. And
of course tere Mona is the Rocks Tequila and he
just rented out this It was actually Judy Garland's house,
old house that he rented out this whole house.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
And put on this event.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yeah, just whatever, but put on but put on this
event where you could test all the tequilas and they
had food and the whole deal. So I think doing
that and it was free, I didn't have to pay
me and Lucy went, my wife, and but I think
it's a great way to get fans who are super
fans to show up for for for an event in

(26:49):
a concentrated place, and so I think I think it'll work.
They've had a couple of Netflix houses out here in
Los Angeles, and I think it really works. I think
there was one where they did one for the Supper.
Wasn't the Supper of the movie The Supper.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
That came out.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
I remember that movie, the one with Anna Taylor. Anna
Taylor Joy and they did one, and they did a
whole meal in that theme for it. So I think
this is a like I think this is a good
way to market something. So I don't see why not
why it doesn't become much more of a thing. You know,

(27:24):
you know, DC probably would probably get one at some point.
I know it's a Philly in Detroit, but maybe DC
will get one at some point.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
I can't remember. There was for a while in DC
there was like a place where they would do different sets,
like there was an office set, like a Seinfeld apartment set.
This feels like that, like it just like I said,
but on a larger scale, basically not just nostalgia, but
it's more like what's currently on. I think. I right now,
if you go, if you go to Netflix house dot com.

(27:51):
Because I don't get a really access to tickets, I'm
not entirely sure it includes tickets to different activities you
can do, but you can definitely get I guess entry
entry passes to get in and at least take a
look around. But my other question would be because I
think it's a good idea, I think experiencing the things
you love, like I always say, I know you went

(28:13):
to WrestleMania in LA a few years ago.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Yeah, thirty nine.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Yeah, did you have to happen to do the w
WE experience when you went there.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
I did not do the w They didn't have it.
They didn't have the superstore.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Yeah, probably was still bad.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Yeah, it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
They didn't even have access to my WrestleMania. I felt
like I got jypped because now they're doing the whole WrestleMania,
you know, WRES, WWE Unit World and all that stuff
like that, where they're doing all the things, and no,
we got jypped my WrestleMania out here in Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
We would not.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
They did have a small store when they came back
for money in the bank, but it wasn't as big
as as like the WWE Worlds when they do it
for other events.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Because we did WWE World we went to forty and
it was just really cool. I mean, you see all
these things on TV. You see the ring, you see
the in your house set, you see the the belts,
all that kind of stuff. It was a cool to
kind of interacted that with with like minded people, like
basically they have like a little con basically for wrestling.
I would love to see that if that was an
extrapolate And now, of course, when I say would you

(29:19):
go to others, this is other studios that technically two
studios already do it, but it costs you about a
buck seventy to get in Universal and Disney World, so they.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Kind of.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Technically already do it. But if they were to do more,
I guess, like if they do do a Marble house.
I know, for a while ago they had a Marvel
centric exhibit at I don't know what museum was in Philly,
but it was a museum in Philly where you can
go you can see the outfits, you can see stories
from the set, you can see props, but like a
true to life where like you could walk into DC

(29:52):
Marvel's New York basically and kind of explore what other
I guess, eye people, would you like to see this for?

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Man, that's a great question. Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
That's a great question about what other ip I would
love to see this for. I don't know, you know what,
it'd be cool for them to do a Power Rangers.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
That would be cool.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
That will be cool, Like the building.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
That was supposed to be the base is out here,
and ye out here. So it would be really cool
for them to put on an event at that place.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
That will because that's a museum too, right.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Yeah, yeah, I think it's a Guggenheim or something like that.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
I would like to see that. That would be cool
if I was thinking video games, I would love a
God of warhouses off the top of my head to
experience like all that, all that God of war version
of Norse mythology. I think that would be really really cool.
Another one probably and then you get that universal as well.

(30:55):
But I don't know, like I feel like this this
concept may explode, so to speak, if they could figure
out a way to do it right, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Yeah, that I think that's the thing is making it authentic.
They do pop ups like this all the time. There's
like there was a sonic pop up out here. There
was They changed a whole like Windy's to a Wednesday
for Wednesday for the show. They changed right around the
corner from where we live a Jack in the Box

(31:27):
to like a Snoop Jack in the Box, and he
showed up.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
He had a bunch of lowriders there, all that stuff
like that.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
So like it what the things that they're doing around
the country that are starting to pop up more often.
They I think they do hear the most. The promotion
is crazy here, like they painted pink benches for Barbie.
Los Angeles is like we get movie and TV stuff
like DC and the d and Vegas political stuff.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
That's that's how how it's done.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
And maybe maybe what it is really is more of
they trying to figure out a way to do those
things they do locally in LA a conspective way to
do it nationally. Maybe not nationally where it's like, you know,
it's gonna be in every city, major city, but like
billion Dallas here, we can do Las Vegas and Miami there,
we can do Charlotte and I don't know DC here.

(32:19):
I think it's it's also for Netflix a really cool
way to keep their name people's name because I know
do have Netflix. I know a lot of people that
don't really have Netflix until something's going to watch, Like,
you know, that makes sense. We're blessed that we have
mostly all the major streamers. We don't have I think
we don't have paramount plus that we don't have uh

(32:39):
sometimes we don't have one is we don't have everything,
but we have the ones that you know, all stuff
is on, but a lot of people don't do that.
They have their set ones. This is this is a
way that they could actually probably make their way into
more homes a getting that that that Chris fifty ninety
nine every month, you know, from from more American citizens. Yeah,
I'm trying to think of what other show up like Flix.

(33:00):
I would like it though for because besides Stranger Things,
I actually don't watch many Netflix original shows. I get
that it's I can say the Crown, but the Crown
that's just like the museum, you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Yeah, like you see the real stuff. I don't know, man,
Like I mean, that's a really good question. I'd love
to hear other people's ideas about what they would love
to hear or see.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Well, like what themed places. I know there's like a.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Dragon ball Z restaurant around here somewhere, so like everything
that you possibly could think of I think happens. Yeah,
it's somewhere someone's come up with some idea to do it.
But no, Yeah, I would love to hear what other
people's ideas are.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
I remember when we first went out there for E three,
the first thing I wanted to do because I watched
this podcast from there all the time. Kevin Smith, that's
coming to vill only for Cantina. I didn't to see
this place in person. I want to see what it
really feels like. Yeah, I think it was on it's
on Sunset Bulevard. I don't know. I don't know. I
think it's California anymore. But went there. It was really
cool and this actually looks as cool as it does
on YouTube. Like I like this place. I would definitely

(34:04):
come heah, I don't drink, but I'll definitely come there
for I don't know, some potato tops every once in now,
once in a while. It's just just support it. It's
really cool, like you said, like it's really even being
there for E three, I forgot. I forget where it was,
but the way E A Play took over that one
spot off of it's near Sunset and again I forgot

(34:27):
Los Angeles geography, but it's somewhere somewhere near Sunset Boulevard
and well, Hollwall Hawk of Fame. What was this where
E A Play was? And it's amazing how he just
took it over like it's just this is like a
public space and you would never know because you walk
in there and it looks like EA Sports and EA
Games is just like here all the time. It was
amazing to see.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Yeah, yeah, I can imagine it.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Like what they do for San Diego Comic Con each
year is how they just an installation, takes over a
space and gives you all the things that you like,
put you in side whatever video game or movie or experience.
I think I feel like they do that every year
at San Diego Comic count.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
It was at I figured it out. It was a
Hollywood palladium at Let's see, this is north of a
Google map north El Central Avenue and Sunset Boulevard. I
was right, I did it nice We sun said Boulevard.
I remember geography. This is great and actually this is funny.

(35:30):
Look on this map actually is down on street from Netflix,
which is pretty funny. Uh we're talking about this, Yeah,
but yeah, keep keep that in mind if if you're
around here locally November twelfth, if you're not else, Shoot, no,
that's too because doesn't doesn't. Stranger Things first episode launched
on Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (35:47):
It does? Yes, Netflix, you Dirty Dirty, Oh they are
so good at this.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
What makes If you're a good marketing team, you're thinking
three or four moves I had than anybody else.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Because me and Hoodie did them recently. Like you could
literally only watch Netflix on Christmas because there's two football
games and changing things like you don't have to change
off of Netflix the entire day.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Basically, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Open your presence. Football is on around twelve thirty one.
Watchers watch second game games over time for changing things.
They are diabolical in this.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
They're very good. Yeah, it's very good how they did it.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I'm sucker for good marketing. But moving off of that,
like I said, if your local, keep your eye out
for this. It'll be in Philly. So if you're close
by that long of a drive from DC or North
Virginia or Baltimore to Philly, it's about two two and
a half hours of max. The only because you have
to deal with is Phillies ridiculously narrow streets. I still
don't understand why they just don't have traffic down on streets.

(36:48):
But that's just me. I'm not a city engineer. It's
just me, that's what I think. But moving on, of course,
this week was the premiere. Last week it was to
be mere of season two of Peacemaker starring John Cena.
By the way, this is a mark of excellence because
me and Mike have gone forty three minutes into this

(37:11):
podcast not a single word of wrestling. We've done it.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
No wrestling. That's pretty good for us getting together. It's
gonna end soon, but we've gone a long time without that.
But Mike, did you catch Season one A Peacemaker?

Speaker 2 (37:26):
I did catch Season one A Peacemaker?

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yes, how'd you like it?

Speaker 2 (37:30):
I loved I loved it. I thought it was I
think it's a great role for a great role for
John Cena. I love that it was.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
I love the tone of it compared to what we
had at the time when it came to the d
C EU or DCU as they're calling in or or whatnot.
Uh just tonally, I think it was very much needed
when it came to the whole DC universe type thing
when it came to TV and movies.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
So I enjoyed it. I thought it was really good.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
I thought the same thing. Actually, I remember I was
like when we watched the first trailer of this, I
was like the only one excited about it because I
think I got it quicker than most people did. Because yeah,
with the eagle being like a dog basically. I was like, yeah, yeah,
I totally get that, America whatever, but the fill people

(38:26):
view eagles anyway. You know, eagles actually scavengers, but they
won't getting all that. But anyway, I thought it was
actually gonna be a pretty cool show and a pretty
good role for John Seena's six his teeth into because
he's been more of I don't see the second fiddle
in a lot of the movies he's done. But it's
always been blah blah blah and John Cena, you know
what I mean. It's never just been John Cena is
the main focal point. Even it was in Fast and

(38:48):
Furious nine. I think it was when he played Dom's
brother or whatever like that.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
What it was, Yeah, nine, I think it's nine.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
I think he was there with the rest of the
Fast Cats as a as a long standing relationship with
the viewer, and even like his other stuff, he was
it was always somebody else. But this was his first,
really you know, start making campaign and I thought he
did a great job. But I actually was like, wait
a minute, is Johnson a good actor? Because when you

(39:16):
watch Peacemaker, you realize first if you see him if
you saw him a suicide squad, he was one person.
But when you see him in Peacemaker, you see more
of the character and how like he's a jerk, but
he doesn't really mean to be you know what I mean? Again,
his father was horrible, grew up in a horble situation
and kind of made him who he was who he is,
but he just wanted to be that guy.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
But he is that guy.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
So first season I loved it. I thought it was
it was a great eight or nine weeks of TV.
So now we are going into season two, episode one
so far, what were your thoughts non spoilers so far
on it.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
I thought I thought it was a great lead.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
I think it was a great way to kind of
cleanse your palette after watching Superman this summer, and and
for a lot of people who watched Superman, I thought
it was a great lead in to what we're gonna like,
what we're gonna see on TV right did I don't
know if anybody watched Creature Commandos. I thought it was

(40:16):
a great show, and I think this is I think
I think Peacemaker was one of the crown jewels that
that James Gunn could hang his hat on and go, look,
this is what I can do, but I gotta also
do this thing over here in pointing.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Specifically at Superman, and I think it's great.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
I just think it's a great palate cleaner cleanser for
after watching Superman this summer, and so I'm excited to really,
you know, get into this season. I love that they're
already introducing a multiverse in this situation, so like, I
love the fact that we're gonna get to that, but
I love that we don't have to feel like we
have to discover it. It's kind of already established. And

(40:59):
so if Niels lived in already, and I love that
we're going to get a lived in universe as opposed
to us trying to discover the universe.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
I thought a lot of the same things. Uh, I
did think that going into before this. But first of all,
I didn't want to say I will watch the Creature
Commandos yet, because I have forgiven DC for canceling Young Justice,
well not cancing uttab what they did the last last
season ever, when it just was like, you know what,
we're not going to spend any money animating Miles. We're

(41:27):
just going to have mentally talk to each other, I thought.
I still think that was one of stupidest things.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
I hate it so much, which is a travesty because
Young Justice was really good. Yes, even even when they
brought it back, still good, still pretty good.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
And then lets you know what, yeah, June money on
Miles just happened to talk to each other mentally, come on, yeah.
But anyway, yeah, I was afraid that that the Multiverse
team was going to be a little bit too fast
because they're just like this is literally like the third
thing coming from the DC.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
You.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
But again, the way the introduced it wasn't it was.
It wasn't like Flash season five where the multivers came
the thing, we gotta go this multiverse. It was like
Chris is said, and he is nowhere to do next?
Oh lord's his door, go to? Oh shoot, a place
where I'm loved. I want to stay here. That's approach
to it is perfect. I feel like a place where

(42:17):
my brother's still around, where my dad's not a jerk,
it actually loves me. It's funny because I'm rewatching King
of the Hill right now, and a lot of the
King of the Hill is wanting to one of his
dad and love him like ot.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
Shoot great show. I'm like, I'm glad that it's back,
but it's a great show. But it is very much
of a relationship of uh, you know, with his father.
It started with his father, which is why he's the
way he is. So for him to run into a
father that loves him, can you imagine the different kind

(42:47):
of I'm sure he's like, what kind of person would
I be if my dad actually loved me?

Speaker 1 (42:53):
I imagine it for us if we were into a
multiverse and ran to my father that hated us, Like
there's a there's a universe out there where my dad's
a jerk, you know what I mean. Yeah, you dad's
a horrible person who beat you, Like, like imagine that.
Oh my gosh, I'm how good I had it right? Yeah,
So I didn't like that. I like the discovery of
the same discovery going on with kind of get her

(43:14):
name or I never remember her name? James Gunn's wife,
Where is her name?

Speaker 2 (43:20):
But it's her name?

Speaker 1 (43:21):
Oh god, it should be right here at the top.
She's like, where is uh hardcourt? That's her name, Jennifer
Holland hardcore. I like her journey and she's basically depressed
because she can't get a job anymore. By the way,
we're spoilers now. She probably turned that on, turned the
spoiler thing on. But she's depressed right now because everything
that went down last season and basically exposing she was

(43:45):
her name, her mom, Amanda Waller. It's not wise to
cross the Amanda Waller. So she did that. She's going
through but she can't get a government job now because
even though she's doing a trial and men Will still
has a lot of friends, so she can't do that
anything with that. I also kind of like the dichotomy

(44:07):
of the friend that the economos he is working for
the enemy but still trying to be friends with Peacemaker,
which is interesting. And then also the overarching plot of
from Suicide Squad one with refleged senior, like this dude
killed my son, I'm gonna get him. Yeah, similar as that.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
I feel I feel like there's been multiple Rick flags
and this is like version three even though he's the
senior Rick flag.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
And also I'm I'm not entirely sure that this just
goes back to made the Multiverse school was a little
bit too too much, too fast, And actually saw a
quote today from johnsena says the last three episodes of
this show is like a new feels like a new season.
I don't think this Peacemaker is in the same universe
as our Superman now yet makes sense, and I also

(44:58):
don't again now if you go through the episode and
you watch it. If I had one critique of this episode,
the orgy scene a bit too uh too long? I mean,
I get it, I was like twenty seconds less. I
think it coulda it could land a little bit better.
It kind of reminded me of The Boys episode when

(45:19):
I went to that house. It was like this is yes,
this is yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (45:25):
But I think that's I think James Gunn loves that
type of stuff, the stuff that you just got to
sit in and make people uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
I think he loves building those scenes out.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
But I think the reason why I liked more in
The Boys is because in The Boys, they were still
acting in front of what's going on behind them, whereas
it was like just a wide shot of Chris on
the couch, like, what's what's happening?

Speaker 2 (45:50):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
Yeah, but again, that's that's just one of saying. The
first episode I thought was pretty good. I also thought
it was interesting that basically the way they're moving on
from the DCU was just like it wasn't It wasn't
just like Justice Gang anyway. Uh, that was it. It
wasn't like a thing where they jumped universes or it
was like, no, it was Green Lantern, Hawk Girl and Superman.

(46:12):
It wasn't the Flash and Superman and Wonder Woman and
a Coalman and they're not dealing with that anymore. I
thought that was the same way to kind of move
move past it. I thought that was interesting. Yeah, but again,
going into the episode, the part that really really really
like you know, hit me was when he went to
the New Universe and saw his brother and was like, wow,
my brother, Like again, is John Cena a good actor? Like?

Speaker 3 (46:38):
I mean, if we keep having to ask if he's
a good actor, maybe we should start considering maybe.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
Maybe wild thought here, maybe he is a good actor.
Maybe he's learning.

Speaker 1 (46:50):
Yeah. There was a variety thing that came out a
few weeks ago of who was the best wrestler turn
actor they ranked. I think they ranked the Rock or
was it the think of Patista number one?

Speaker 2 (47:03):
As he should?

Speaker 1 (47:04):
People feel the Rock is more because I guess some
people have seen that movie movie He's coming out. What's
it called to your UFC.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
Guy, Oh what is? I forget what it's called, but
I know what you're talking about. He plays Mark Kerr.

Speaker 1 (47:17):
Yeah, but apparently that already has Oscar buzz. So now
people are saying the Rock's a better actor. But I
think Batista has shown more rings than the Rock.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
He belongs at the top. He belongs at the top
of that list. And then we talked about this with
my buddy, our buddy Charles who you know, and he's
a movie critic and we do a podcast called The
Real Movie Stuff, and well I produced it, he's the host.
But we we talked about this list and Batista deserves

(47:49):
number one, and then maybe the Rock. And then I
had a problem with John Cena being third. I would
say Adam Copeland, who's also Edge, it should be third.
The reason was because I feel I would.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Fight that a little bit. Is because he's been I
can count on maybe one thing on two hands how
much stuff he's been in. John Cena is like, does
turn him out right?

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Now?

Speaker 1 (48:11):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (48:13):
But I feel like I feel like Adam Copeland was
on Haven doing his doing his job, and then he
went to Vikings and now he's on Percy Jackson and
so I feel like he he's doing he's been doing
things and doing his and having more range than John Cena.
John Cena, he happened to be funny in that Amy

(48:35):
Schumer movie.

Speaker 1 (48:35):
Oh yeah, one of Lebron James fan.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
But he he is funny. I feel like he's done
a lot of one note movies. What was it cock
Blockers he did, Yeah, and then he did Uh.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
He has some one with Interest album right now on Amazon.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Prom Actually yeah, and he but I feel like he's
kind of the same. He does the same, like funny
type of things.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
He also has a random movie on Peacock where he's
the president. I never watched it, but uh, you know,
I know sometimes after you watch one thing, they show
you like a trailer to keep watching on the app. Yeah,
it's what Johnson this President. I was like, when did
he make this? And why didn't Why weren't there stories
about Johnson playing the president in the movie. Yeah, it's
really really awkward.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
He played the president with Idris and then but this was.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
Like seriously, like he's running for president, Like it's like
a serious movie, Like I mean, it's not like, you know,
he's not like doing any handle stuff. But it's like
it's not like a comedic in tone at all. It's
like this is a movie where he's a president. What's crazy.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
I will say The Rock showed good range in Jungle
Book because he's playing a kid that's in the Rock's body.
That that that gives them a little bit more range
than I probably get Hi credit.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
For talking about Jumanji.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
Yeah, Jumanji, Okay, I would give it to him, but
I just I think the Rock plays the Rock in
most most of his things.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Yeah, to see the fallout from this UFC movie. He
has coming out soon again and said, people say he
may get nominate for an Oscar, which will be crazy
because he'll be the I don't think what he's been
nominated for an Oscar.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
Yet, No, he hasn't. Early reports say that he has
a pretty good chance of winning.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
Actually, when I can, I can't imagine how they press
voting for the Rock to win an Oscar. I can't imagine, Like, just.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
We've seen crazier things, have we not? We have?

Speaker 1 (50:25):
But I feel like, and this is this is just
regular old movie Joe talking here. I feel like the
people that vote for the Oscars are people that still
call movies films, you know what I mean, And people
that that that that that aspire to the craft of acting,
where like I'm just like I don't want I don't

(50:45):
wanna watch a good movie. And I think those people
are not going to vote for the Rock no matter
how good it is. By the way, it's called the
smashing Machine. Is what it's called, the smashing mashing machine.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Yeah, that's yep.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
But back we got we went on a tangent there,
But back to piece Maker. I love the scene with
his brother and it's actually the guy that plays Roy
on the Office that actually was playing his brother and
this which is pretty cool, but the way he felt
he was on his brother, and then the moment where
they all had like a whiskey and just kind of
shot shot the breeze for a while, I was like,

(51:16):
this is nice. This is actually pretty nice.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (51:20):
I love to see the what could have been. And
I love the James Gunn. I think he's a great writer.
And he writes characters and he writes scenes that are
equally emotional but also equally funny. Yeah, and I and
I love the way he balances that throughout his projects

(51:42):
and then going forward.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Of course after that, why he's going back to the
uh the I guess if you want to call it
start wars term the world between world basically what it
is between world. This university piece actually shows up and
him and our piece start to have a fight, and
then he accidentally killed himself, basically, which is crazy to
think about. And that's that's the that's the other thing.

(52:05):
That's that's that's funny about this peacemaker. Unless he's in
an active battle with somebody who's trying to hurt him
or his friends, he seems kind of harmless. And when
he actually killed somebody always looks surprised, Oh, I didn't
mean do that. That was a mistake.

Speaker 2 (52:22):
He's not a very he's a very inept superhero.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Yes he really is that he really is. But I
definitely loved this episode. It definitely has me drawn in
to see the back to back seven or eight wherever
they have left. I'm also back to the point of
and it's just the nature of chief shows today. I
wish I had released two this first one, so I
kind of get my feet a little bit more wet,

(52:46):
and now I gotta wait again till next week. But
we did see the uh this what if he always does?
Coming this season on Peacemaker trailer, which is pretty cool.
A lot of things are happening. It looks like he's
gonna sit in that world for a while and to
have to choose which he wants to live. And actually
wrote a script about that a long time ago. I've
never actually finished it. One thing stole my idea. H

(53:10):
you better go find it, Hey, James, I don't want
to lie. I just want be a line item in
your budget. Kevin White gets paid two hundred dollars, Just
give me like.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
Just be like residuals. That's it.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Kevin gets five hundred dollars and then anybvity to the premiere.
It's all he wants. Gave it to him. He'll go away.
But yeah, going forward, I have a lot to look
forward to this uh this coming season on Peace Pacroud.
I'm excited. I think it's gonna be a fun season.
And I hope what John Seen says is true. Like
those back three are supposed to be supposed supposed to

(53:43):
be a doozy. Uh, actually I'll tell you what they are,
So I guess secretive with these back three, they don't
have names yet. According to Wikipedia, Uh two has a name.
A man is only as good as his bird. Three
another rick of my sleeve. Number four, episode four, need
I say door? Uh number five is back to the Future,

(54:05):
and then six, seven, eight or TBA. So I'm guessing
those are the episodes where we're going to get into
some multiverse shenanigans. I also did hear that's been a
lot of a lot of rumored awesome cameos.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Oh, I love that. I love good cameos and a
good TV show.

Speaker 3 (54:22):
So hopefully the cameos are like something that you're really like, Okay, yeah,
I love it.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Maybe it's another superhero.

Speaker 1 (54:31):
I can almost guarantee you what we're going to see
David corn sweat at least, maybe not that Superman that
we know of from the movie just came out, but
a Superman from a universe maybe.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
You know what I mean. Oh, I like that. I
like that.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
What if we got a Henry Cavill Superman. What if
he just shows up again, like like we can't get
rid of him, and then we got to sing in
David Corner Sweat.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
And get rid of it. I'm still part of the
part of the universe says Man of Steel was a
good movie, So don't teach me, but a good time.
Please those.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
I love that, I'll try not to teach you.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
I actually enjoyed Man of Steel, contrary to most belief
that it was horrible reputation of Superman, like it was
an interpretation. Calm down, it was.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
I enjoyed Man of Steel, like, let's not get that twisted.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
I may joke around it about it, but I felt
like it was a great interpretation of Superman. It was
something that was needed in order for us to accept
the David Corner Sweat version of Superman exactly.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
I think it was needed.

Speaker 1 (55:35):
I like David Quorn Sweat, but Harry Cavell was still
kind of like that dude just looked like Superman. It
was just so David Corns does look like Henry Cavell
and Tom about had a baby and they got David
Quorn sweare fair fair, But we'll find out all about
coming up. Soon before I got out of here, we
got to talk a little bit of wrestling. Okay, how

(55:56):
do you feel about the I guess how things that
are shaping out with the vision and our tribal chief
right now.

Speaker 2 (56:05):
I need.

Speaker 3 (56:08):
I have an opinion about the vision and I at
first I was like, Okay, I'm with this this faction,
but I just need to know where it's going.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
I want to see the vision. It's called the vision.
What's the vision? Seth? Just for you to capture the
championship and keep it. That's it.

Speaker 3 (56:25):
At least with the bloodline, it felt like they were moving,
there was an over movement.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
Yeah, it doesn't.

Speaker 3 (56:31):
Feel that way. It feels like they're just okay with
maintaining a top of Monday Night Raw.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (56:40):
Yeah, there's no much more than that, which seems very
Unseth like, like there's nothing else to it. I need
some more. I need a good storyline. I need deep,
deep storylines, deep storytelling when it comes to them, right
are your thoughts?

Speaker 1 (56:56):
I think right now they're just evolution two point zero,
where they're pretty much just there to launch the careers
of Braun and in Bronson. Basically, Yeah, eventually, I feel
like we're gonna get a moment where uh, you know,
bronze on Bronson shoulders and sometimes don't get gift the
thumbs down, and then we have our we have our

(57:16):
Seth Rollins Bronton Reid Bronson Reid robbery. Eventually something else
will happened to Bronson read and we made our Bronton
read Seth Roninds robbery And we're gonna basically just using
this to launch too much, which I'm fine with. But
like you said, that's what's promised to be like, which
is a vision of the future. I'm like, what not?
Just you have the number two championship. I know it's
supposed to be built as they're on the same level,

(57:38):
but it's not. Cody, is the championship one your championship
number two? I'm sorry, it is what it is. Matter
of fact, you're three and oh you're owing three against
the the WWE champion right now. He's better than you
as far as like what does the potent on TV goes?
So I'm sorry, you don't control anything. You're just a
champion on raw. It's just it's just me. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
No, I completely agree with you. I think I just
think we need something more.

Speaker 3 (58:05):
I think you put these guys together for a reason,
like I think we need something more, Like we're I
think we're leading to another Roman Seth Rollins's rivalry, and
I feel like we don't need that. I think we're
slow playing this whole Roman getting back, the bloodline getting
back together, and I feel like we need to speed

(58:25):
it up, because, let's face it, Roman's leaving. He's going
to go make a movie, and he'll be gone for
another six months. I think right now, the reason Roman
is there is because Cody is going to shoot the
same movie. He's shooting the same movie right now, so
I think that's why we haven't seen Cody in several weeks.

(58:49):
But eventually we need to move this storyline along and
figure out what we're doing.

Speaker 1 (58:54):
I need the make up blood line to deep you
sooner and later. I want Roman, Jane, j Jimmy, I
want Jacob, I want Naomi. I want why can't I
remember her name right now? The Rock's cousin, uh Na.
I want Nijacks.

Speaker 2 (59:15):
Is rumored Nya is rumored to be joining the m.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
F t S again. That's what I want. I want
them now as I want the whole m m T
m f T S. I want to let that too
called up. I want the Rocks Rocks down and called up.
I want the Mega blood line just to take over
the entire w W. That's what I need.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
I feel like we've deserved that, and I think there's
just slow playing. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (59:38):
I just sometimes I don't know what Triple H is
thinking and what he what the motivation is, and what's
he what's he moving towards.

Speaker 2 (59:46):
But I guess that's part of it. We just kind
of have to wait and see.

Speaker 3 (59:50):
But I need the vision to start becoming something more
than just these guys that are hanging out with with
Seth and the Wise Man all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
I didn't love the line from Raw today. I don't
if you watched Broadway at three, well twelve year time, Yeah,
the line from Roman to Bronson, Oh he's Samoan. It
means I own you like.

Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
It was a great line. It was a great line
because it's like he is Samoan. That's what's funny about it.
But he I love that they placed that story though.

Speaker 1 (01:00:25):
Yeah, I love that. But cut it off there because
we will talk for another hour and a half. We
will There are episodes of The Good Marks that are
only in folders on our personal Google clouds now that
are our two hours. It does us talking wrestling and
bs ing. Oh maybe good old days. Maybe that's what

circa what was that twenty and sixteen, twenty seventeen, God, yep,
definitely born.

Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
Yeah, good lord, Yeah, yeah, that would be a great
That would be great to to like put that, put
that out there.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
People will do that, will do that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
But Mike, thank you for joining me tonight. I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Man, of course, thank you for having me.

Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
It's always a good time to talk and sit to
talk and nerd stuff with you.

Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
Yeah, thankfully we had something to talk about because it
was a kind of a slow news day unless you
want to talk box office stuff. And I'm not I'm
not a math nerd.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
I was bad a man.

Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
I don't know what to do all that kind of stuff.
Movies make money or they don't. That's about how all
I process it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
Nah, I'm good with the box office.

Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
Well.

Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
