Good? Don't see hoodies faces?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
And it's very sun faded, very sun.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
That spent a long time on the wolfs.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
What's that studio with a glass wall where the sun
one comes every hour outside?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Uh, but we got a jam packed show for you today. Obviously,
we're talking about Peacemaker episode seven breaking down sort of
given our final episode predictions. As well, we're gonna talk about,
we said this last week, our first movie date stories.
Maybe there were horror stories or maybe they were like, okay,
they got game stories. You know.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Yeah, my story is interesting because I still think I
was what we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
We're talking about. My story is also interesting, but we'll
talk about We'll talk about and also we're gonna be
celebrating seven hundred episodes to each get two fun memories
we've done on the podcast, and we'll do maybe one
hell memory because of this podcast is well.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Are you no mine? I came right up?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Are you nout? But you can see everything we're gonna
talk about today in so much more by keep it
a lot at Infinite Underscore bids on Instagram or the
X go and give it to you or Kevin. Where
can they go to be part of the podcast, whether
in video form or maybe on demand later?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
You can go to YouTube dot com slash Infinite Underscore
post to watch us on demand at your own leisure.
And we have over six hundred and ninety nine episodes
on it.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
There's actually yes, correct, there is over seven hundred because
he has seven hundred official episodes. We have more than
seven hundred episodes.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
So you have interviews, we have clips hoo. He did
a Finn interview with Anthony Mackie a few months ago.
We watch that's on YouTube Underscore pods.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
They haven't called me back. I'm like you guys said
I did a good job. Well I haven't been called back.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Shoot.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Let me interview Jared Letop for Tron Come on Disney,
let me do it.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
But I want to join us. Laugh twice a week.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
You also join us on Twitch dot tv, sus if
underscore pods and why you did, give us a follow,
and link your Twitch account to your Amazon prom Yeah,
and gives a subscription as well. It's totally free because
you already got Prime anyway, because you gotta watch the boys,
gotta watch gen v said you gotta watch follow, so
you already have it. We'll just give us boys a
subscription that well, Twitch dot tv, slash Infinite underscore pods.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
And there's a pro tip with this. Apparently, Prime Gaming
is kind of like going away. Don't worry this little
fun feature. It still exists. I think just got rid
of the Prime gaming thing, and to say it's just
part of Prime. Uh so, if you got Amazon Prime,
don't worry. Sorry, you can still do it for free.
Don't worry about that.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Amazon. Amazon owns Twist now right.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yes, it's a it's a whole ecosystem, Kevin, a whole ecosystem.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Our business daddy's she is right?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Do they another podcast? All right? Anyway, we always start
the podcast properly, and we've actually probably done this for
probably like five hundred out of the seven hundred episodes,
maybe four hundred. It's something I like to call what
you're doing where we talk about the shows and movies.
We've been watching, games, we've been playing, lives, we've been living.

(03:37):
Because it is Monday, that means Kevin always gets to
go first. And this is not the seven hundred celebration part.
So this is normal stuff, Kevin we're going to talk
about here, So the.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Normal stuff of a nerdy dad. This weekend, we finally
got our butts out to.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Spirit of Halloween.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Oh yes, Oh, I have a spirit I have a
Spirit Halloween story. I can't wait to tell you. Oh
my god, I just remembered about it.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
We usually go once.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Or twice a year, so the first time going this year,
and this is the first time going with with with
the baby, so we won't see what would happen. And
Leah at this age was fearless or more just like
inquisitive here is fearful that she's.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Gotta get well. I mean, also, Leah likes horror games.
That's the other there too.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
So Leah's kind of like her mother. She's just like, oh, yeah,
look at demon whatever.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
When that came from her mom directly exactly whereas we walked.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
In, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
He's been staring the Halloween this year. But this year
the theme was like a subway car thing and one
of our subway car and all things around it, and
each step she took and something moved.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
She's not having it.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
After the first shock, though, she had to have fun.
In the store.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
She found these zombie crawling babies that she really liked.
She thought they were cute. She kept saying, Oh, I
tried to put her in a bunch of masks.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
She would not have have it. I was I really
upset about that.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
She said, no, I want my own I am my,
I am me, I am no other person.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
That was really annoying.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
So we walked around there for a while and Leah
finally chose out. He chose her her her police costume.
What are you puzzled about? Not because of the climate that.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
We just like really in Baltimore, especially.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
To be a police officer.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
And we were like, huh, huh, okay, you don't have
any family, zombie police. And we tried to give her
other things, but why don't you want to be a
dark fairy? Why don't you be Alphaba? Because originally she's
gonna be Alphaba and Elisha was gonna be Glinda, and
me and Kira were going to be Boo and Sally.
Don't remember his name's Sully exactly, but I don't want to.

(05:49):
She always does her own thing. So then she was like, yeah,
I want to be police officer. I also want get
to play kife. I want sickly be a serial killer.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I was like, there's your mother.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Okay, you're all right.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
We got her up the police outfit, but also like
this knife that bleeds blood when you turn.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
She's a corrupt cop. A little too on the nose there,
Leah a little too. In Baltimore, there was a whole
show about this man shows about it.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Dude, I got two very rky ones.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
But uh, that's what she wanted to be. And I
was like, okay, we didn't get anything for Kira. We
didn't see anything that we really liked that I thought
we were cute on her. And it took a while
to find the kids section. They kind of redid the
layout this year in ours, where usually the kids section
was always to the left, this year is like to
the right, towards like the front of it, uh, like
the front register. We didn't see if we were leaving.

(06:37):
Oh we're leaving now, time to look through all the
stuff see what she wants to be.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
So that was fun.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Still I'm still puzzled at her decision. I got a
sticky suspicion that come October thirty. First she was like, no,
I want to be something else, Like we have this
costumeer called thirty seven dollars. You're gonna weary this costs.
You can be something cheap at dollar store. She offered
to be Love and Thunder. But then but then we
couldn't find much like Viking looking stuff in there.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
I give you the costume that I have. Kevin, Well,
just keep keep it.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Open because it may it may make an option because
my daughter would show get forty more ideas before the
end of the day.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
So did that. Yesterday also played a little more Red Dead.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Uh I did a did an awkward mission where I
don't know he just mission hoodie where you find this
guy in she was called Roads that's upset that his
family history has gone to him as a man is
gone and he's once his old things back, but his
house has been foreclosed. Uh So I said, I can
find you someuf sir, and and go found his stuff
in his foreclosed house and it turns out he was
a slave catcher.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Well, well, I went back and uh, I.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Had an option to kill him, and I've watched online
uh many different ways people that killed this man, but
I didn't kill him. I was like, you're already in hell,
and I feel like death is easy heal for you.
So I'm gonna let you waller in your own squad.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
So I did that mission. And I also ran across
like the first like inklings of.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
What happens to Dutches's wife or girlfriend because I was
going back to my tent and they were young at
each other, like oh this is when it started. Okay, okay,
this is a very interesting game when you play it
knowing what's coming.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
And paying attention to story, like oh, okay, that's what
this is.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
That leads that that that exactly like I went and
again when I was done the mission with the slave
catcher guy, I went to roads and had like fifteen
catfish jenners for far the like come on mans, you
eat up.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Man, you deserve it.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
And also did another MISSI where I had to get
at another guy's he was a doctor and they stole
like his doctor trailer, so went stole that back, and
now I'm back to pretty much only.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Having the main storyline on my map.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Now.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
The only thing I'm not really really doing I think
I'm gonna get into it a little more is I
haven't done any any like legendary beast hunting yet.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
M hmm. That's good end game stuff, you know, like
it gives you something to do.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Yeah, I should wait until until till the end of
the game that everything that happens, or should I do
it while I'm doing I haven't really said.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I think one of the missions involves a legendary beast
like a bear or something, so maybe wait until you
get that too.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Because I'm not doing any of the challenges either, because
I'm really That's one thing I'm noticed about this one game.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I don't know why is this one.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
I'm really bad at this game, Like you shoot, I
don't know how to Like I know they told me
how to stop the horse. I find myself just jumping
off the horse all the time. I'm like, shoot, whatever
it goes all right, Like I don't actually break the.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Way and now I'm off the horse all right, So I.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Need to I need to take a day where I
just buckle down and learn how to play again the
game again because I go through so much long spurts
of playing, Like I played yesterday, but I hadn't played since.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Like two weeks ago. But that's that's one of the issues.
I'm not playing every day.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I know, you're adult.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I know. It just sucks.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
And that's another thing too, because when I have downtime
I can play. It's like I don't know the kids
are doing. He's doing homework, here is drawing at least
doing something I can play, and that I'm like, this
came kind of pressing.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
I don't know. Yeah. Other than that, just looking for
I'm looking forward to Thursday because I really want.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
To peace Maker Like this is yeah Thursday night. You're
gonna need to watch the spoilers because they're gonna happen
as soon as that episode comes.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah, I mean yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
I usually wait till like nine o three to like
miss like the Stagger starts everybody play the same time
in the country, So I waited till like nine ten
to watch this one last week.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Man, really good, What about you? What you been doing?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:32):
So for me, pretty cool weekend. Pretty much your boy did.
Like I said on Thursday, uh properly start Ghost of Sushima, Sushima, Sushima.
I'm about two and a half hours, three hours in. Uh,
so I've done a I've done a couple of the like, uh,
I did the Archer guy. Yeah, I forgot I don't

(10:53):
know everyone's names because I haven't played it since Friday afternoon.
And then I got the Sneaky Lady where you stab
people and every time it's you cut back to a
cut scene after you assassinate someone, and it's like for shame, Like, baby,
I'm trying to get through this level. I need to
do this.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Yeah, you'll learn it this somebody right close to Jim
that doesn't appreciate those ways as you get closer and
in the game.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
But it's kind of like, well they started it.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
And also I'm like, hey, that's great. I gotta go
with some people.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Oh yeah, everything nothing is true, I think is permitted.
That's a crazy baby, but.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Yeah, so far, so good.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
I really did like that a lot of like you
get the missions based on just talking to people. To
a degree, I really liked like, oh pretty much the
I don't know what the village where the archer Man
is in Ghost of Shushiba you get a mission, it's like, oh,
you need to go talk to the lady that's south,
but there's a there's a bridge there that you have

(11:52):
to stop the archer. There's like two gangs of archers
that are like having Romeo and Juliet over it and
you gotta stop it. I thought that was pretty cool.
I liked that, Like that was pretty cool. A little
discoverability of a mission, a short mission like that.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
It's a it's a good game, and it's one of
those games even though I love this game, but unlike
a Horizon where you keep meeting all these characters, Okay,
who are you?

Speaker 3 (12:12):
This game? Each character you meet, this person you recruit
to your team has meaning to you.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Yeah, once you find out their backstory, Like the artist
backstory is really cool.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
It's just really cool.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Backstory was going on him, which was going on one
with the girls really cool as well. And more people
you meet, you're like, wow, these are really cool people. Yeah,
it's fun.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
So the hooks are there, will they stake? Will find out?
But on top of that, your boy did go to
New York City for news? Zach I heard that a lot.
I also he heard welcome to New York a lot too,
because you know, Taylor Swift this weekend. But it was
fun if you live in the d m V area
and Kevin, if you live in Baltimore, for sure, I

(12:51):
think it's well worth doing. An overnight trip is what
I guess I kind of like to call it, because
we went up, as this podcast according Saturday morning or
Saturday morning, our trading was at ten, We got in
at one, and then pretty much we just came back
a couple hours ago, taking like the eight am train.
So it was great. We spent the night in the hotel.
Was perfect. Mainly more wanted to see Hadestown, which is

(13:15):
a newer musical. I think it came out in like
twenties eighteen twenty nineteen. Famously, Carlos Valdez aka Cisco from
The Flash and Jordan Fisher, also from The Flash, have
been the main character in this musical. Really cool. If
you're a fan of jazz, that's cool too because they
put a lot of spotlight on the actual Normally it's

(13:35):
like an orchestra that's in a pit. But I'm gonna
call him a band because it was like a jazz band.
There was a trombonist, tromboner sometimes we like to call
them that. I was fascinated by the whole time because
they were just doing their whole thing trombone the whole time,
which was cool. It could have been alternate reality for
your boid.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Or was singing a happy ever after song at Magic Kingdom?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yes, And he also wasn't Hamilton for a time. Usually
Jordan Fisher is in like the early productions of things
and then moves on before everyone knows about it to
a degree.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Also, I think said is an impulse, right, it was
an impulse.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Sure, he was on the flash, that's all. That's all
I gonna say. If you're a fan of jazz or
and or Greek mythology, I think it's well worth your time.
I know it's coming to d C soon, or it's
coming or just happened. But I really liked it. I
didn't really know anything about it, more kind of knew
a couple of songs in the story at least to
a degree. It was a fun time. Crowd is hyped,

(14:29):
which I like. I think we're just in the era
now of people going to Broadway shows aren't so like hm,
it's the fangirls and fanboys you know that are going,
which is dope.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
It's only been a one Broadway show.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
I went to Michael Jackson Experience on the Broadway, and
that's the one thing I noticed is like everybody wanted
to be there.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
So I was really into the show.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
So I'm happy to see that transfers to other shows,
because I mean, I'm only seen one.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
I want to go back.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Seeing on the show soon. I will eventually. But that
was the one thing and one thing closualse doors behind you.
You're just then what was going on?

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Really cool until the intermission where you have to fight
for your life to go to the bathroom. But yeah,
New York was fun. On the train ride up, I
read the entirety of paper Boys, which is his graphic
novel series from Image Comics. It did get one season
of a show on Prime Video, so I'm actually intrigued
to watch that. I thought it was pretty good. Essentially,

(15:23):
it's these It's kind of very stranger things ee, but
more time travel instead of demon fantasy stuff. I thought
it was really good. I've read all of it within
the three and a half four hour train ride, so
that tells you something too. But if you need a
new comic graphic novel to get into. That was good,

(15:44):
and I did start Saga on the way back, and
that's been interesting so far because Saga has been in
my like radar since I lived in Seattle, where it
was like it blew like. I went to Emerald City
Comic Con, which is like third version of San Diego
Comic Con, and there was like Image Comics was like
promoting out the wazoo. So I got through two volumes

(16:05):
of that and that's pretty cool too. That's a little
like Space Romeo and Juliet too as well, which has
been fun.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
Yeah, there's a guy I follow, I don't I've seen
him before. He might have seen him on that on
one if MEXDC. He shold coy Gandre. He's been raving
about that comic for a long time. Say he's one
of the best ones around right now. But it's funny,
she said paper Boy. I didn't think. I didn't think
about that, that show and the novel I went. I
went thought about Atlanta and paper Boy, the song.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Paper Girls, that paper Boys, But yeah, I thought, really good.
I wouldn't be surprised if Saga probably is the next
one that gets an adaptation soon. Probably when Invincible is over,
because its got a couple of volumes in it. I
think it's a good little like Romeo and Juliet Adventure

(16:49):
like that. And fun thing is I borrowed all these
books to the Libby app. So Libby App, which is
that free app that lets you borrow download or e
versions of books if you just have a library card.
That's been great because I download them all.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Boo boo boom.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
All right, now send it back to the library. I
am good for in my digital copy.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Now you're making wonder about myself right now because right
now my wife's reading a novel, my sister's reading a
no and that he's reading a novel, you're reading novels.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I'm like, I need to get back in.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Yeah, I'm re in comic books, Vin, I'm different. And
then New York was really great. Obviously went to the
Nintendo Story. You gotta go to the Nintendo Story every
time you're in New York. We got toy for Teddy.
We're excited more as picking it up right now from
the doggy daycare. Okay, his grandparents, so we'll give him that.
And I did take more to two card shops in

(17:39):
New York okay, and uh they're actually pretty cool. They
were pretty nice, like organized for being in New York.
And it's funny because uh Maura unknowingly sat at the
girlfriend slash partner table with every other girlfriend or wife
or partner that was there for their other partner looking

(17:59):
for cards. That was fun. And then the other story
the card d was a little too expensive, So that's okay,
it's New York prices.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
I don't know how we have gone full circle from
like the guy that holds the wife's purse by the
changing room to the wife corner of.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
The card show.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You sit there and do whatever you want. I'll be
five minutes and I'll come back, don't worry. And then
my Spirit Alloween story. So Friday More and I got dinner.
We said, all right, you know, let's go to Spirit Alloween.
This is our little date night thing. We'll figure out,
like truly what we can get for our costume or whatever.
I don't know about you, Kevin, but Spired Allween is
never in the same spot, usually for the most part,

(18:36):
where we live. Usually it moves wherever there's an open
real estate and or wherever there's how much money and
all that good stuff in Fairfax. We had it good
because it was always in like big shopping centers. It
sucks because the one Spirit Hallween near us last year
was in a good spot and moved to a Sears
that's definitely been abandoned for like ten years at least

(18:57):
so more. And I pull up to the Sears parking
lot where the Spirit Halloween is. All right, great, we're
gonna see some costumes. Two cars in the parking lot. Huh,
that's interesting. It's Friday night in October, like the first
weekend of October. There's only two cars in this parking lot.
A cop car pulls out a no and dese sides
the proceed stop in front of the store as we're parking.

(19:20):
Cops get out, not rushed, that's okay, taking their time
walking into the store, and I'm like, do we go in?
Should we wait? Like what's the procedure on this? The
cops are gone. Cops further going into the Seers where
the Spirit Halloween is. We say, you know what, Hey,
the cops are good, Let's go in.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Go in.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
One family in there chilling on their way out, saying, hey,
no one's here. There's no employees here at the store.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
But we came into the store and it was open,
and alarm's going off in the horizon and somewhere in
the Sears I don't know. And then another family shows
up and they said, the cops don't come back. All
the families leave it more than I say, what do
we want to look around? We look around for five
minutes like this is weird. We shouldn't be here at all,

(20:10):
like really really weird. In my head, I'm like, should
we dank things now? Because there's no one here. The cops,
granted are in another part of the Seers. They're like nowhere,
Like Sears was departed department and actually had departments. You know,
we could take a couple of costumes to do it.
Ain't gonna notice it. We didn't. We're nice like that.

(20:33):
But yeah, no employees at all. There was like Stanley
Cups at the little cat at the little cash registerer.
So someone obviously came in then left. They never came
back or didn't lock up.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
You're a good person because when I was there yesterday
I saw a three hundred dollars proton peck for a
cooth box of costume and I was like, hmm, that
gets out of.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Here because also think, yeah, I think a time, this
is hindsight. You know, we were talking about what we
could have done, but we didn't. That's what if is
cost Priority checked security cameras the time we were in there,
so they weren't gonna check them again. Now.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
I mean, at the bet, you can have been.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Like, okay, let's get you a X costume, me a
Y costume, and it's left on account. I feel like,
all you sixty butts, So here's sixty for me to
you can change and you're out of there.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Yeah, I'm giving point discount. I literally had to go
back into the register to get this transaction happened. The
weirdest thing though, the Spirit Halloween. Half the post like
half the little like open welcome posters were up, half
of them warn't. And it's like it's the staff of
this Spirit Halloween get raptured or something like, what the

(21:43):
hell's going on right now?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
It sounds like maybe they opened and maybe a shipment
happened and they opened the door, didn't disarma the alarm,
and they all back to dealing with that and he
forgot to do.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
I think it's probably what happened.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
I think it is the employee came in they had
to go get something and didn't lock up, and people
came in which triggered the alarm or whatever. Uh and
then and then employee never came back. So I don't
know what's having an employee. Uh, but I don't know if.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
We're going back to either, I can't imagine plot will
be in trouble. I don't know the Spirit of Halloween's
like corporate structure.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
I don't know. Those guys are paid on her table.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Or they they're paid for a month and then they're
gone unless they have a Spirit of Christmas store or
whatever it's gonna be now exactly.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
They probably paid like a flat Okay, here's your four
dollars for a month, and then you're done, never talked
to you again.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
So that was a wild time on Friday. And it's
like what the we just walk into that.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
Happened to us before, not at sight of Hallowing store,
but we went to like a I think it was
five below. Then a situation walk in, there's nobody around him,
like okay, let me just leave before we already accessory
to something and go to another five below.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
So uh, it's it's it's more of a someone was trespassed,
So cops, you can't arrest me for doing something different
while you're here for the treads paths.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
I'm just I just want I just I just want
to costume.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Well, and here's the thing. We left and there was
a car, like three cars that are pulling in. So
I don't and I don't know the employees, but like
we at the group that I was with that experience
this had left. So there's a new group of people
that were gonna walk in and be like, what the
hell's going on?

Speaker 3 (23:20):
These guys are really tying into the horror. I don't
know what's going on.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Because here's the thing. If we didn't get stopped by
the other families that were leaving, we'd have been like, oh, yeah,
the employees in the back or something. I want to
grab something like, man, they're taking their time, sweet old
people want to buy something. Hello, Hello, I'm gonna take
it now. Okay.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
I'm glad you didn't. I don't want you to be
able to do the show. One discord from the from
the county jail.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Here's a collect call from Hoodie Kevin, pay pay my bail.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Hello, welcome to Like hey.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
Hey, you said one call. You say, how long call
could be our podcast. I'll be done in about thirty minutes.
I gotta time, Pricebager, Kevin, That's what I've been doing.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
You always. Let's know what you've been doing on his
court pods as well. Let's get on into it. It's
time for the news times and first things first rest.
We are celebrating seven one hundred episodes today.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Hundred.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Yes there's our seven hundred actual podcast episode. Yes, there
are more episodes online on YouTube or on podcast service
near you, but we've done seven hundred official ones of these,
including Javi, Alex brother John, Mister Eric v uh Cain
was on one of these. We had. I think my
mom was on one of these. Kevin's family has been
on all of these. Most of Kevin's family has been

(24:53):
on all of this. Some of my in laws have
been on this podcast. Your dog, my dog has been
on many of them, probably two hundred ish at least
of a podcast we love it or love or hate it.
Teddy's been on here.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
Teddy tays I remember the show exactly.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
I pay him and Pokemon Toys. I bought him for
twenty nintended story. But thank you so much for listening.
We really appreciate seven hundred episodes as wild We don't
realize you put the number on podcasts because you always
want to be a welcome entry point into people, Like
we had a lot of people listening to our seven
or Simpsons episode last week, wildly because people care about

(25:33):
Simpsons like that secretly. But Kevin, we're gonna do sort
of a version of two truths in a line. Uh,
two highs and a low. So we're gonna call it
for this podcast. Uh, not mainly being a sad moment,
but uh, more of a what the hell moment? You
probably gonna that's okay, So Kevin, I will let you

(25:56):
start with one high and we'll go back and forth.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
I think one of my.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
Most recent highs, because it kind of happened before before
the COVID nineteen pandemic, was our trip to Vegas or
w W two K twenty.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
In two K twenty right.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Yes, at the time, it was kind of it used
to be.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
This thing where when we were both working to di Ieheart,
we'd just get these random emails like, hey, you guys
want come here.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
We're like, yes, yeah, yes, that'll be fun.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
But but this this was literally a trip totally paid
for by two K. They flew us out out to Vegas.
They put us up in what was it the the
MGM park that parking, Yeah, like that gave us a
one hundred dollars uber voucher and the only thing that

(26:44):
paid for, basically was food if we wanted to eat.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
And even that we went to actually.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Cover the press conference of the release of the game
and the press conference of what were they pushing back then?
I don't know if I think it was if the
first Crown jewel Man actually might have been Actually.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
It was a draft. It was the w W draft
draft draft.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
It was food therefore was there so if we really
wanted to be cheap, we didn't have to really buy it.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Infamously, during that is when I was getting cramped ka
Cranberrys before Court and Grace started thinking about at the
Wazoo because they were free and then lo and behold
once the event ended, once our little hour ended or whatever,
they said, now that's forty. It's forty dollars if you
want to fuck Cranberry, not double, just a single. Well, no,

(27:30):
I had to buy it, remember, because I did. I
was like, oh, it's free, and then he was like, no,
you have to pay for it. I already drink. I
already took a zip at it.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Here's forty dollars.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
But that was a great time, like to become the
release of the game. It was also also the infamous
time where if you're this is if you're a wrestling
family us. I had my first run in with Dave Meltzer,
who I still don't like to this day.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Is what he did to me.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
We had an opportunity to interview a couple of wrestlers,
So my first wrestler was Rick Rick and Charlotte Flair.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
I got an interview the father and the daughter, Rick
and Tarli Flayer.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
We're having a really good conversation and this idiot just
as I'm talking to Rick Flair, literally Rick Flair saying
I remember this guy from nineteen seventy five into Ohio
feel I'm like, shut up, I'm talking to him. You
can wait your turn. You probably have a cell phone
number called him later. This is my moment with both
Rick and Charlotte, and I was asking them more off

(28:18):
the not regular wrestling question. I was asking what was like,
what was it like growing up in wrestling with your dad?
What was it like going to toy with your dad.
What was like bringing your sister, your daughter on a
road with you. I was actually like a really real,
real question, not just normal what's your favorite finishing move?
And this idiot just cannon bombs and basically after that
took over the conversation, I was just walked away.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
I'm like, this is stupid.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
I have the audio, but the audio there's a lot
of crowd, a lot of crowd noise. We did not
know how to do isolated microphone according back then, so
I think they had him back and.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Then they had had the little microphone on thetky did
not exist back Funny just five six years ago.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
They didn't have to sit. Now you can get it
for twenty bucks. But yeah, that sucked. But I also
got to interview before debut. That's the tribal chief Roman Reigns,
and we had a ten minute long conversation just about
football and that. That was one of my favorite things
about us. When we do these interviews that we don't
focus on just like what are you working on, what's
your product? We actually want to get on the person. Hey,

(29:13):
do what's you favorite food you go to? Like, I
don't know Dallas, like we're gonna get to the person.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
So that was fun and just hanging out with my
buddy here for a week away away from the women.
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Kevin said that. I didn't say nothing.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
But it was also funny to thinking that because like
I think if Hoodie and I were two other different
people say people that you was maybe seeing the hangover
and we told our wives slash long term a time
long term girlfriends, Hey I'm one to bikers with my
buddy for a weekend, and'm like do what. But then
if we say they were like you two guys, two nerves.
What you're gonna do? You're gonna video game. My wife

(29:48):
wasn't worried at all. I mean going to the case
by myself. It wasn't even like a okay, see see.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
To get back, dang thought, you're not gonna gamble, you're
not gonna drink.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
It doesn't really matter.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
I didn't get like a talk or this is what
you okay, so you gonna get back like dang it.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Tell me tell me something, tell me what you know?

Speaker 3 (30:07):
My uh, I'll go high low high. Let you want
to go go in your first high first?

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, I will go with my first high. Let me
try to remember when we did that interview, because oh, yes,
I do have a video. Maybe we should post these
throwback videos. Uh uh what was I trying to look
for though in here?

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Because this is when did okay, yes, I had moved back,
all right, cool at that point. Yes, So that that
was definitely high for sure. I think another high. I'm
just gonna group them. E three has been a big
highlight for this show, which has been great. We got
to go to two of them, and those were kind
of like the last two big ones. Uh the third
one all are both our Infostle data leak, So that

(30:52):
was the thing ruined E three for us for sure.
But E three was a great time. We got to
go in Javi both times, and then we had my brother.
The first time we had Noah, which has become who
has become Job's friend, which is great. On the second time,
not really knowing anything really, just hey, we're gonna go Airbnb.

(31:13):
We'll figure out what's going on. The first one, both
of them kind of rough. The second one was better
for sure the first one.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
But I think it's because the second one we try
to be like legit news people and the first one,
I mean the second one was like, let's go have fun.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
Let's go have fun. First one is saying we need
a small space. So Kevin Lily slept on a small
one person chaired, Joby slept on a pull out couch
to a degree, brother and I separated a full bed,
had one bathroom. That was a fun time. And a
raid happened down the street while we were filming a

(31:48):
funny video. Before those things were a thing more of
a thing than they are now. Yes, that was in
time where we were at. But I think cool thing
then was we We fit dangled our way really to
getting also a free day trip to Disney the first

(32:10):
trip tickets paid for that, not having to do anything,
and then we also got to go to iHeart l
A Studios, which was really fun.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
And infamously the first year we my brother and I
FI dangled our way into going into the PlayStation private
press area where we saw Jack Black, We saw Neil
Neil Truckman.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
We saw who else, Tim Schaeffer uh, and I believe
he I remember who the other person was off the
top of my head, back there just hanging out. Uh
while we were playing. I think it was beyond human
at the time, it was the game yeah, because that
was like PS fours hey day. Back then it was like, yeah,
who do you work for? You work for Ryan Seacrest. Yes, yes, yes,

(32:57):
I always say yes.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
We do.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Take it till you make it. The second year was
cool because we got invited to a lot of the
actual like announcements which was really cool at EA, Xbox Bethesda,
which was really cool as well. The second year try
remember Kevin and I infacitly took a very expensive uber
to downtown Disney to buy a wand and that was fun.

(33:19):
Uh for the time when wing Stop discovered the joys
of wing Stop that we had many at times during
so much wing Stop and yeah, just a good time
with those three trips, which I kind of grouped together.
But Kevin, you're up. You can either do your high
or low again.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
I just real quick because the day one that the
uber ride from this is a la near near the
sunset Bulevard Boulevard to Disney World Disneyland is about seventy
five dollars and you boys split it with me to
go get a buy.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
A wan, get me Disney anytime. Baby.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
He earned on already godfather Satus that day because I mean,
thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
I will go with my one low.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
And this go Go coincides with E three was when
we recorded the podcast the first time and I did
something and lost the entire recording the first time, and
the way we did it back then was I was
more of the technical person and Hoodie did more of
the actual content producing. And then Alex, I mean I
was gonna go the first time actually went and Hoodie

(34:23):
and and Jobby just looking at him like this, you idiot.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
I'm like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I push recording. Okay,
but that worked. That turned into I because you guys
got to meet We got to meet two chains indirectly,
oh yeah, walking.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Down the hallway randomly, and then we found Big Boy
Studio and kind of went down the hallway and there
was two change like, oh, shoot to change.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
I know you cool. That was my one low. I
still wake up sometimes the cold swept from that.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Ye, I guess I'll go with my low. My low
probably even though it was interesting in the Seattle year
was it was hard, Uh, just doing a podcast where
I'm three hours behind everybody, uh, and y'all want to
go home or y'all have been to workers the whole time,
and I just got off my morning show shift and
I'm like, oh, I gotta put a whole sial podcast

(35:12):
up and do the podcast right now.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:15):
That was a That was a That was definitely a
time where we realized we are we're podcasts hosts, but
we're also friends because I don't think we're on the
podcast like now we do it.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Wow, we'll get the next week.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Hey, guys, connect to that working next time. I don't
remember how we did that. I don't even remember how
we did.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
Do ast again.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
We probably spent a lot of the companies money getting
and that's probably why I got fired.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
They probably figured out it was me.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
That's very low. That's our high. Uh. And then all right, Kevin,
your last high. I guess we'll go with this one
for now. On the ones we've had, my last.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
High would probably be the uh call of duty trip again.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
A random email on a random middle of the week
from our friend Day who no longer works at a
conivision anymore.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
I think it's that dizzy now answer.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
But I got a random email saying, hey, you guys
want to come down to cover called the world Championships
in Orlando. We'll put you up in a hotel and
we'll fly you out, Like, oh but yeah, let's do that.
Let's just let's do all of that.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
And we got a got on the plane, went down
to Orlando.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
A nice STV picked us up and brought us to
the hotel, brought us to the It was at the
Magic play the area, the.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
Whole arena, it was arena at that point. We went, Yes,
run out, like a whole arena was running out.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
They had food there.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
We covered it kind of like we did the uh
what was a shoot rocket lageal tampion before that, and
it was a great time we went. We went to
Sea World. Unfortunately we went like right after Blackfish was released, so.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
It was a weird time being there were a ride
I don't remember. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
That was the thing. We just rode roller coasters.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
We didn't really go see the way because we're like,
we don't we don't know how you feel about this.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
We didn't pay for it. We just got in, but
it was weird.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Infamously, also we recorded a drunk Game of Thrones watched
the Thrones episode. Yeah time, that was fun as well,
where the episode starts go hearing it first and then
at the end we were just saying, no, Kevin, you're
no problem, you're drunk, you're sober right now.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
And that was also the night of the worldwide release
of Pickle Rick. That's my I've ever seen Pickle Rick.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
You got to meet ram Page Jackson during that trip.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Quinn Rampage Jackson. I met somebody else I can't.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Remember you mad a slender Man during that trip as well.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
We saw slender Man. That was the thing that happened.
That was, That's what it was.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
That was also the day where Javi and Alex tried
to introduce me to UHA Ratio.

Speaker 3 (37:43):
What's it called?

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Insecure?

Speaker 3 (37:46):
Insecure?

Speaker 4 (37:47):
And it wasn't a great episode to introduce somebody when
because it was like a really graphic three some other
What the heck am I watching?

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Why am I watching?

Speaker 1 (37:53):
That's in scare baby, that's scaryeah.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
That's this isn't a lone watching show. That's not that's
not watching. But that was on one hot just hanging
out with all you guys down.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
And we went to Marguerite Magaritaville. That was a great time.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
I can't not go to Margaritaville. If you see it,
it was it was really kind.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Of like like, wow, look look at it.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Now. Nothing's bad as happening between us. We're all still friends.
We're just all doing different things. But it was like this,
this is a good time before, before the dark side.
Before it was really good pre pandemic. It was like
this is great, Yes, that's great.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
Things have changed is the pandemic. They're one less go anyway?
Uh maya high. Uh will be another group of alclamations.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Is that We've had many life events on this podcast
through seven hundred episodes. Uh, and you listening. I've also
had a lot of live events on this podcast. Kevin
has had two kids while this podcast has happened. One
of them is almost as old as the podcast is
what it is? A nine is turning ten? Right in
three months? Turning nine turning nine in three months? Yeah,

(38:52):
Kira came out, came out a year a year and
a half ago, essentially literally literally and figured, yes, sure,
Uh we had a Teddy, we have a Cody. Uh,
we have a cat cam cookie the catcam over here somewhere.
One day, one day, Kevi will figure out, Uh, brother
John's gotten married. I've gotten married. Uh, it's a wild time,

(39:15):
and we appreciate you listening. And you know nintenda. Mic
has had a kid, which is wild. I have multiple
kids actually, so it's wild.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Mike, you got two or three? I can't remember. Tim
you have you have a couple, Timmy Perry's had a kid.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah, it's a loild time on the podcast. But yeah,
fun time, and uh, we appreciate you listening. And here's
two seven thousand more to go.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
It's empty now, but I'll raised my class.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Suit to raise a glass to freedom, is what Hamilton
will say. So that is anyway, let's get onto it.
Here's what you're actually for. It's actual news. Let's talk
about peace. Baker season two, episode seven, let's break it
down mine.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Yeow yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
So episode seven ak the penultimate episode of this season,
which is wold. It was called like a Keith in
the Night, and it truly was if you want to
think about it. Spoilers the villain origin story for Keith
this episode.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
I will say I can't remember the actor's name right now,
but Roy from the Office. He had a great performance
on Thursday ninth episode Roy, right.

Speaker 3 (40:33):
Yes, correct, Roy, the rage you saw.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
It as Nadavid Deadman is his actual name.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
Yes, great performance.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
It's amazing how James Gunakin continue to just fully performance
out all these actors' day cast all the way. I
mean you go back to Slither like really really good director.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Yeah, I really sorry, I all really enjoyed the episodes. Well,
I think there's johnsen is best acting, which I do
want to talk about potentially next week when we do
wrap up the season. Where to go? Where to go? Uh?
Two questions is until you can moll over it for
the next week. Is John sena the best wrestler turned

(41:16):
actor now we've had multiple episodes with them, And is
the DCU doing a better job with its live action
shows than Marvel did Slash is doing. That's just food
to process for next week. But yeah, I thought this
episode is really good. I thought that literally like last
what four minutes with John Cena freaking out about everything

(41:37):
going down, which we'll get to it a little bit.
We're some of his best acting scenes as well, and
I like, I think, like you said, James Gunns brought
out the best and a lot of pretty much the
actors his report his posse. Uh, we had Jenner, Jennifer
Holland last week had that big episode. They're like, oh man,
she can't feel anything, and I do think get the

(41:59):
cast the come on, Cass, I just had it. I'm
uh out a bio. I thought she's been killing it too.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Yeah. I thought her scenes this week with Judo Master
were really.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Really Daniel Brooks, That's that's her. And then yeah, Judo
Master even like, all right, I kind of respect Master.
Do you agree right now?

Speaker 3 (42:18):
Because I hated that character before. I thought they were
just annoying. And I'm like, oh, Judo Master.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
That's okay, baby, But let's get on to the nitty gritty.
We'll talk about the episode and sort of easter eggs
you may have missed, but it kicks off and I
did like this the recap literally ending on the last
scene of last week's episode and this picking up immediately
after that of hardcore roast and Chris about not knowing
he was in plane attack, Planet Attacks Earth X or

(42:46):
whatever we're gonna call it now, because literally she's like,
how could you miss the big old portrait of a
Hitler right over there? He's like, oh, I never really
know that before.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
It's funny actually, after watch it on Thursday, on Friday.

Speaker 4 (43:01):
On Friday, I rewatched christ on Earth X from back
in the day on c W, and I realized, there's
no no world.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Should they been able to do that on TV?

Speaker 1 (43:12):
We had a good ten years ago with the say
what you were about to see the Arrowverse shows? But hey,
they did crossovers and they were wild.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
And then there are peaks and valleys. That was a
peak that was a big.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
There a lot of valleys, but that was a big peak.
To make up for that. But Chris aka Peacemaker in hardcore,
they do escape Argus using Peacemaker's jet pack, but it
is a very like rough brutal escape because immediately jet
the jet pack makes him hit a wall and then
a truck and like, what the hell did you do?

(43:45):
So I got out of there, put the big door,
but left or right a tiny window that you'll happens
at every door you go to, there's a tiny window,
door or whatever. Eventually, Keith and Augie, Chris's dad, you
catch up to them, take pretty much kill a bunch
of cops because cops, you know, Kevin's daughter is going

(44:07):
through that realization right now. Nazi cops, the Nazi corrupt cops.
So this double kill them. They take them back to
the house, which I thought was cool because we all
thought this was gonna be a big showdown, we were
gonna get it, but it really was, for the most part,
maybe eighty a peaceful negotiation to a degree to the

(44:28):
back ass uh. They take them back to their house.
While this is all going on, we found out the vigilantes,
both versions of them, realize, yeah, this world, it's bad
for any people of color. So they go and say,
we got to catch up with Adebio, who is currently
running from a bunch of mean neighborhood people a neighborhood watch.

(44:50):
She jumps over a fence into a pool. Eventually is
Judo Master, who saves her using electricity to roast a
bunch of them, which, yep, good. Love it. You know,
like Wolfenstein games. We love it. We love it. When
I'm Nazi days.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
Learn like this is this is like Pokemon science. We
know that water conducts electricity.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
We love it. It's what happened. While they are hiding
out from anybody waiting until nightfall, they are pretty much
going through this person's house. They're playing scrabble. Instead of scrabble,
it is flaming hot Cheetos instead of Cheetos. But it
doesn't taste as good because if you watch that movie
that's on Disney Plus and Hulu, there was not a
Latino that was that did put that together. That was Synergy.

(45:32):
Well they're not Disney Pluss, but that was Hey, you
watched you know how flaming Cheetos are made. Now you
realize why they were playing in this universe.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
I didn't even realize that a while.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Wow, that movie popped up on my TikTok like all
the time, and it's like the same clip. I'm like,
just show me the damn clip of it making the Cheetos.
I know about the other stuff.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
I don't care. What are the spices? I need to know.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
I need it now, damn it. And now we know
we got it good because he made it. Essentially, they
do bond. We do see at of Bio does kind
of confess you know that Chris is really her best friend,
that he really does have a soft shell kind of
opens up. Judo Masters would agree to that, really because
last season we didn't really vibe with him at all,

(46:14):
or like ah, he's just the villain we hate. But
now you're like, all right, well, like he does have
a nicer side to him, but he is, you know,
he's still technically is working for the wrong team, but
at least there is some redeeming factor behind him. Kind
of how Tim Meadows character has been this season a
little bit too, which is great.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
Some kind of like.

Speaker 4 (46:32):
How how they did I can't remember his name but
the blue guy, I can't remember his name from Gardan
gialoxyd blue guy. Uh he may have been your father,
but I'm your daddy.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Oh y do there you yan do?

Speaker 4 (46:45):
Janni was kind of kind of like the villain's jerking
the first one, then towards the end of the first
one and second one.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
Was like, oh no, you're not that bad.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Kind of like that cool.

Speaker 5 (46:53):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
We find out while this is going on back in
our Earth or of the DCU Rick Flax singor in Bordeaux.
Uh do actually go back to Lex's little mobile headquarters
thing from Superman. The end of Superman the movie, they
they meet with Sidney Happerson, one of the guys that
had a lot more screen time than you thought needed

(47:15):
to ask screen time and it's a rim movie because
he was teating him up to be in this Who
does help them locate where Chris's new dimensional rift is.
Also thought it was good just to be like, yeah,
they're in Washington, They're in Evergreen City, so all right,
cool piece bigger takes place in Washington.

Speaker 3 (47:30):
Now, you know, it's funny. I don't know what I
was like, Oh, mustache guy got it.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Yeah, the end credits the scene was like, oh, okay,
well he's got freedom now, that's his first thing to
do with that freedom Internet.

Speaker 3 (47:41):
That was pretty Uh, that was that was good.

Speaker 1 (47:44):
That one wasn't in. That wasn't in that episode properly.
But eventually the vigilantes do find out a bio and
judo master. They say, oh, you know, we got to
go back to the port. We gotta find Chris. That's
where they go back to the house. We cut back
to the house. Augie and Keith are interrogating Chris, but
are up did by the Cops of This World, who
are led by Fitzgibbons, who was the cop from last season,

(48:07):
which was cool. And he's been in a bunch of
stuff since, like scary movie, White Chicks and a bunch
of stuff too.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
Yeah, it's cool scene. Oh, I'll get it because he's
not he's not dead. On this earth because he didn't
get muffed.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
But his partner isn't there because he was Asian, and
it's like, oh, I see what happened? You see when
you like, you're like, oh, okay, that's connected dots there. Eventually,
this is cool because while Fitzgibbons shows up at the door,
Augie answers, and we were really seeing in this that
this Aggie is I don't want to say sweethearted, but

(48:39):
more of a parental figure to a degree than the
Augie was in our world, which I think was cool.
There also is a cool line Augie said, you know,
if you want to live, come with me, and is
the inverse of come with me if you want to
live from Terminator, which was cool. But eventually we're seeing
that Keith is pissed at Chris and doesn't really isn't

(49:00):
really understanding why Augie is kind of like being nice
to him to a degree. Really, eventually we find out
I think it's Hardcourt says, you know, like why are
They're all like, why are you supporting Nazis? August says,
you know, Essentially we get to a degree of like
he doesn't support the world he's in, but he's doing
the best he can as a person to a degree,

(49:22):
which it's interesting, this interesting thought process of the world
we're in right now.

Speaker 3 (49:30):
Do you want to change things? Yes? Do we have
the power to?

Speaker 4 (49:32):
Probably not, but you can start but small but like
you know, helping somebody else get some of the top
shelf in the grocery store, like this is the small things.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
Yeah, that's why I really appreciated this the speech yeah
from Patrick.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
And then yeah, I thought he killed it this episode,
which is great because we hated it well season. He's
a good fellam. He's usually a villains. Why we do
find out August will allow Chris to leave after Chris
repeals you know, he killed this version of Peacemaker this week.
He gets pissed, but Aggie says, you know what, like
your brother was going through a lot. But Keith like,
but that's my brother, Like you don't understand it like that. Eventually,

(50:08):
like I said, Aggie has that speech and the vigilantes
pop through windows, stab him in the neck and he's dead.
Keith freaks out decides to go on the offense as
the eleven Street Kids are heading back to the portal.
He's eventually severely injured by Eaglely, Adrian and Harcore. Pretty
much everyone's about to like gang up and do the

(50:30):
like kick him while he's down scene before Chris yells
at him, and that's that's where we said, you know
John seen his best acting was he admits that he
feels responsible. He's the sort of merchant of death two degree,
which was in the promo for next week. They eventually
leave after cops come in and storm them into the house.

(50:50):
They shut the portal down. We do see that as
a portal shutting down. Vigilante of Earth X is fighting
against the cops is we find out later taking to
an ambulance. He survived. We'll see what happens with him
and next week if he can get through the portal again.
And then back in our world, Chris shuts down the
portal as they're being confronted by Argus, gives them the

(51:13):
little metal bowl or purse I guess whatever he wanted
to be uh, and he gives himself up for the
for the group and he's arrested and that's the end
of the episode.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
Again, I don't I don't think a summary justifies the
performances of Johnsy in this episode, because when he yells
out that scream of stop when they're trying to basically
about to kill his brother. You realize this guy has
watched his whole family basically died twice, so he mistakenly
killed his brother. In his world, he killed his father

(51:46):
because his father was didn't even he was a hoble
person anyway. Then he gets to on Earth where oh
my gosh, my father's actually a pretty good guy and
likes me, watches him die again, and then of course
he killed himself. Well I'm not being the guy, and
he's physically watching his brother to go through the same
motions and when his brother died the first time. So
when he yells at that that that that yelping screaming

(52:08):
stop and says what's wrong with us, I'm like, oh
my gosh, like this I'm here for the bad guy
has beating up the good guy got beating up the
bad guys, and I'm emostionally invested in Chrissmaker's mental health,
Like how did I get here?

Speaker 3 (52:23):
It was so good?

Speaker 1 (52:24):
But yeah, I thought, I mean, this show has been
killing it this season and we are in midway through
these three episode arc and it is correct, like this
is a different thing, and this where all the vibes
and the actions of been. We needed the character pieces
before to get here, and we still have next week's
episode or this week's episode ago as well. James Gunns
has said it'll probably be an hour long episode, which

(52:46):
is always appreciated because sometimes peace make Grand's like oh
and ended already.

Speaker 4 (52:51):
No, and again, I'm a minority here because I got
two kids who are allowed. I'm just like sweet three
minutes I can look in.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
There we go, it's my baby. But Kevin, what do
you predict? Uh? Because this it will be our last
episode for finale actually or well no Love Thursday, so
we have a week to go for that episode. What
do you predict what happened in the Peacemaker finale as
of right now?

Speaker 4 (53:14):
I well, we saw in the in the uh next
time on they're going dimension happening this time, So the
episode've be talking about the dimension happening is happening.

Speaker 3 (53:22):
Next week. I believe we'll see maybe just a nod to.

Speaker 4 (53:26):
First of all, we'll see a not to some old
DC content, whether it's the eighty nine universe, whether it's
the c W verse, maybe even the animated throwback.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
Here's something Kevin Kevin. I hope they don't do this,
but I want them to do this because I hope
they don't do it because it cancels out the future,
but I would appreciate it. Grant Gustin in the flash costume, I.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
Mean, I would love to see that. I wouldn't even
mind if they flashed to a universe. But we see
Henry Campbell fighting's.

Speaker 3 (53:55):
Oh come on it, Oh my god, it's so violent,
we need to kind of shut the door. So I'm like,
I believe we will see that.

Speaker 4 (54:07):
I still am holding on to because James Gunn has
been saying that the cameo on this one is the
biggest one ever get. I still feel like it's going
to be Superman. I don't know what Superman. I don't
know if it's going to be corn Sweat. I don't
know if it's going to be a I don't know,
just kind of like they did it Shazam, where we
just see kind of like the chest and not the
head of hiring Cavell.

Speaker 3 (54:27):
I don't know if it'll be maybe we'll see Bruce
Wayne and we can.

Speaker 1 (54:30):
Try to get revealed or happened earth at Superman could
be that too, that.

Speaker 4 (54:35):
Too, overman, because see overman, I'm kind of crashing through everything.
By the way, I still have your Red sun coom.
I need to get it back to you. That reminds me.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
Keep it or donate that if you because I forgot no.

Speaker 3 (54:49):
Just remember, like shoot, I still have that. So that
that could be one thing.

Speaker 4 (54:53):
But I do think we also will see a way
that Peacemaker gets out of jail and starts to make
that move towards maybe not the Justics Justice League, but
another Argust agent or another what's what's the other super.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
Agency or it is we start suicide Squad again.

Speaker 3 (55:11):
That that's that'sn't gonna say.

Speaker 4 (55:13):
So maybe saying that maybe the big, the big promo
cameo could be Fiana Davis as a Man of Waller
and we get to kind of get to get the
back to pilet to her series of Waller.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
Yeah, because that's kind of where we know we're going
right now. Yeah, you would assume maybe a Vigilante show,
because I think we're all vibing with Vigilante now too.

Speaker 4 (55:34):
But who knows, because also if you do a Waller show,
we still have Daniel Brooks shows out of Builm. That
that's her daughter. That could be kind of maybe a
training day style, like you know what I mean, that's
how you really supposed to do it. You want to
people do what you want. But I'm still really banking
on some kind of Superman cameo, yeah, to kind of
not save the day, because I don't know.

Speaker 3 (55:56):
That's the other thing.

Speaker 4 (55:58):
Do you think, as I'm not turning back to you,
do you think when we go to on this dimension
hopping thing, something is unleashed into this world Because I
people are saying this is how brainy when we get.

Speaker 1 (56:07):
No, I mean for sure this is how Keith gets
back in and that'll be the true final confrontation. I
think Rick Flax Senior has been a villain, but it
has been more of a just an authority villain more
than anything. Not not DC the authority, but like an
authoritative villain. I think Keith that's gonna be the al
He finally figured out the code and then that's, oh, well,

(56:29):
we're having this fun doorhopping adventure. Oh open this one
keep's out here and now he's chasing after everybody.

Speaker 4 (56:35):
Yeah, and then I also one or two if because
the whole series has been about Rick flag kill because
he kills his son. Now that they've seem that how
broken Chris is, he's still gonna want to kill him.
He's gonna be like, you're already broken. I don't even
do anything.

Speaker 1 (56:50):
Yeah, I mean that's interesting. I do think Yeah, Rick
Flax Senior gets demoted or something. Most likely, uh, whether
that tease up another creature Commando. I think it get
to get green lit for a second season. Who knows
when it will actually come out. And also the landscape
they'll do that show in that we actually have proper
d c U. But I think you're right. We've had

(57:13):
everything from Superman but Superman, so it makes sense super
put Superman in there. I mean, you could do a
Lowis Lane or something like that if you if you
wanted to be a little lower on the list too.
We also have lanterns, so I don't think they're gonna
tee up lanterns as much as that, because that seems
more of like a that's doing its own thing. Mister

(57:35):
Terrific could be a good bet. Andy Drogron put in
the cut chats terrific.

Speaker 3 (57:39):
God dang, mister terrific.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Because we did have the other two members of the
Dresses gang, so there was one who has done it.

Speaker 3 (57:45):
So it's a good point.

Speaker 4 (57:46):
That's really that's actually a really good point. And even
going towards the lanterns thing, maybe you don't see Aaron
Pierre's Mufasa, but maybe we'll see Nathan.

Speaker 1 (57:56):
Fill Guy Gardner.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
Yeah, we'll see Guy Gardner with I came from the
guy's name and the guy from from Friday Night Lights
was playing how Joan maybe with them kind of like guy,
shut up, calm down, Yeah, you know what I mean
type of thing.

Speaker 1 (58:10):
But I want to put it past that they'll be
like I think what will be interesting though, is I
think the end credit of this upcoming episode would actually
be important, whereas the other ones have kind of been
oh yeah, they're jokes because that's the James gunnway of
like there's a couple joke end credits and then there's
like one serious one. This was all right, hey, you
did your homework, you say it to the end of
every episode, and I kind of gave you one off
things that didn't really matter. Now here's an important one,

(58:32):
you know.

Speaker 3 (58:33):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (58:33):
And also another big came were kind of counting out
everybody's I feel like everybody's looking forward to this setting
up Man Tomorrow, Superman too, and we're looking past what
happens next year, which is Supergirl.

Speaker 3 (58:44):
So maybe the big the big character, it's crypto crypto also.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
Because Supergirl, if you if you read a Woman of
Tomorrow comic, super Girl is kind of a mess. In
that comic, she kind of found herself. Maybe she comes
and gets Chris out of the gym, like you know what,
go to this planet? What they don't even care about heroes.
You can google be yourself, and maybe that's what the
cameo is her getting him out of jail and.

Speaker 3 (59:04):
Is taking them to another planet. Yeah, I think going
forward still too.

Speaker 1 (59:09):
Like we've had Wallet, we've talked about Waller, We've talked
about lanterns in the movies. Peacemaker is an easy cameo.
Johnson will do it. I mean Johnson was in the
Barbie movie because he was filming Fast at you know
Fast nine or whatever for that one scene. You know,
he's down to do any fun cameo like that. You
have him that could be a cameo. You have obviously
hardcore and economos, and you have potentially a Waller or

(59:31):
an Anabio as kind of your connecting little cameos we
kind of like to have in the Marvel MCU we've had.
Now the DCU looks like we're getting there. U just
to connect everything, especially because if Lantern is gonna be
a little bit totally different, uh than the show, this show,
in the movies, I think it's good just to have
these one off characters being something else, just be like

(59:52):
the same universe. Do what agree?

Speaker 3 (59:54):
Now?

Speaker 4 (59:55):
Do you think we will get us an announcement or
maybe a tease of season three piece Maker.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
After Well, well, obviously we'll talk about that in the
next and next week. But I have a feeling I
think you're right. This just spins off into Waller like
everything carries over and nine the character is pretty much
besides Peacemaker and Vigilante go into Waller and maybe they'll

(01:00:22):
pop up in Waller if that's the next where we're going.

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Yeah, because it seems like, especially after last episode, I
feel like, and his last match, of course, is in December,
he's gonna get real busy.

Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
I feel like after.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
December, Well, here's here's how this show can end. Rick
Flex steps down. Hey, we need someone to take over
for ouguess okay with Tim Meadows is like the most
senior agent sits in the chair, get out of the chair.
It's Waller sits in the chair and then.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Of chair. That would be hilarious. Actually, I love that.
I love that. But I don't think Johnson is going
to be available to shoot.

Speaker 1 (01:00:59):
A long form TV hey for an episode or for
the ten minute scene? Yeah, why not?

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
Exactly if we see him in I don't know if
seeming Batman, because they had a long talk look about
Batman in the first season. When Batman comes out in
two three years, maybe he shows up in that. Maybe
he shows up in another DC animated well and that
show or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
That's interesting thing is And that's why I emphasize, you
know that Peacemaker takes place in Washington. Is a lot
of DC. We know pretty much takes place on most
of the East Coast, North, mid you know, northeast, So
it is nice to just have Okay, we got a
West coast through of a superhero slash little mini team.
So obviously him traveling the Gothams a little harder than

(01:01:42):
Superman getting over there or for Metropolis over you know,
but just things that pay attention to as we go
forward with the finale and then obviously I think Lanterns
is next, is the next thing up?

Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
I think I think at Lanterns in that dead zone
of time.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Of March is yeah, worry March. But it's been killing
it so far. But you can let us know your
opinions at Anthony Underscore pods on the Instagram or the
x go and give it to you because you know,
we got gen V coming out on Wednesday, and we
got this. We'll talk about that on Monday. Man, what
a time?

Speaker 3 (01:02:15):
What a time, Kevin jen Visa. It's penalty, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (01:02:19):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:02:21):
Episode? Maybe maybe I'm a head of one. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
I think you're ahead by episode release release date season two.
You actually episode six, so we'd have two episodes. We're
pretty we're pretty close. Also, it Welcome to Dairy comes

(01:02:45):
out October twenty six, so we'll talk about the premiere.
We we talked about the whole show. I don't know,
but I learned today that it is an alien and
his main enemy is a like turtle.

Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
Turtle.

Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
Yeah, I didn't know that. You asked your wife. Your
wife probably knows all about but those types of things.
The Stephen King books, and the everything is in the
same universe, in the same town, and Stephen King like
he's alien. Yeah, yeah, it's it's the whole thing. You
pay attention a little easter egg. Who would have thought?

(01:03:15):
But let us know your thoughts about everything. Like we
said on the old social media's at Infinite Underscore Pods.
You can also be part of this podcast twitch dot
