Speaker 2 (00:34):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
That said, you have to actually watch lyrics of that song,
like read them.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
No, actually have I'm gonna tell you, I just know
that line, and I don't know the rest of it.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
It's literally about a kid asking his dad can we
hang out? Hang out? And the guy dad does him like,
here's the things we can do? I can do before
I hang out with you? Cradle, Silver Moon, the Moon.
Then the song ends with with the with the dad
older now asked the son he can hang out one
time and in sound saying the same thing next to him,
so he can't do it. If that's all this stuff
comes to.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Line I was about to say was Cat's in the
Cradle the same song as Father and Son, but no
Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chappan in nineteen seventy four,
Father and Son by Cat Stevens. Cat Stevens, Yeah, okay, no,
you know Cat Stevens. Everyone does.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
But you know you're in store for a jam packed
treat of an episode.

the Peacemaker season two trailer.

We're real close and we're excited hopefully get that big

for this. You know what I'm gonna say it, Kevin,
I don't think you know this. We're also up for
another award in Baltimore. Yeah, yes, two awards, because we
(03:53):
are officially as of today. Uh, We've been for it
for a little bit, but I found out today nominated
for Baltimore Magazine's Best Podcasts in all of Baltimore.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Baltimore showing them, Baltimore be showing the love.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I have to make the shorthand links. Idn't have time
to do those today, but that's got like two extra weeks.
So we'll get through this first one and then we'll
push the second one heavy just as a backup.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
You know, friends at Baltimore Magazine. I have to look
up their staff now and see.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Hey, hey, hey, hey, you know what you want to talk? Yeah, Baltimore.
You showed out Baby DC Virginia, the North Northern Virginia magazine.
I know you exist. I see you all the time.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Come on now, I see you all the time with
the Virginia magazine. Don't leaving me on rid.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
I see all the street corners because it's usually like
the little street corner, like the plastic beinge you open
for the free magazines. But yeah, through what you can.
Obviously we'll have the other one. I'll have later probably
on Thursdays episode.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Have a link for that.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
But hey, if we went two back to back awards,
that way, Kevin and I can switch a Rooski both
awards once a week.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
We get joint customs. We just a huge FedEx bill
back and forth.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
But we always took the podcast properly.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Now we've gotten the rigamrole out of the way with
something we like to call what You're Doing, where you
talk about the shows and movies we've been watching, games,
we've been playing, lives we've been living. It's so you
get to know us a little bit better before we
talk about the things we're going to talk about in
the episode, which is why we do in the front.
So you know Kevin's obsessed with Mass Effect. I'm still
challenged by Indiana Jones. One day I'll finish that and
(05:30):
just kind of the type of people we are before
you then get into the actual the nuts and bolts
of the podcast.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
That one on cloudy Day when I finished Mass Effect
for the last time for.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
The last Yeah, when will the last time be? Kevin,
that's a good question. When will the last time be?
Limit doesn't exist?
Speaker 1 (05:48):
But Kevin, cause it is Monday, you good to go first,
good sir.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Currently, I'm actually voting for us on the website.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
All right, there we go, we are voted.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
So this weekend, uh was of course Mother's Day? Have
mother stated to all the mother, happy mother, take to
my grandma and motherhood. You guys are awesome.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
And your wife, who is the mother of your children?
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yes, she was. I want to say she was properly
spoiled yesterday, because I mean, we always want to do more.
She was, she was spoiled a little bit. I ended
up Actually, it's funny on I had to wait until
Friday to do it. Is the only time I had
time to do it. I wanted her to get get
this really cool gryffindor like starter jacket a bunch uh huh,
(06:35):
but the only one I had it was in Napolis.
I'm like, I'm already gonna have to get off on
Friday drive a nap and.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
I don't have the time or patience to do that.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
I did, but I did do it.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
I ended up having all the way down to Napolis
to uh secure his jacket. Took the little one with me,
a little little one, and that was a fun ride
because she just it was. On a ride back, we
stopped at Wessell's Pretzel and I kept getting his hand
in my mirror me for more pretzels all the way
back up to Baltimore.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Press give me, give me that pretzel.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
And what I didn't know though, while shopping at Box Lunch,
I don't know Box launch of Hot Topic were like
owned by the same time.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yes, they've been known for a while at least a pandemic,
but it definitely is a more It's the nerdier Hot Topic,
even though hot Topic kind of cells most of the
same things, and their websites are kind of similar to
a degree.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Yeah, I feel Box Smash may may need a larger
area in them all though.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
I think so. I think like Hot topic hot topics
been like that. I do feel like, well, the Box
Launch I used to go to in Fairfax, it was
always like cool, but like you could make this this better,
you know, like.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Like I feel like maybe Box Lunch may need like
an Apple store size retail space because they have a
lot of crap.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Well, and I wouldn't be surprised.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
I feel like a game Stop would or a box
like because remember game Stop used to have to think
and I used to be a separate store in certainly
okay and that gives I said no, no, no, which
is just the same thing now.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
But I was in there for a while, kind of
got lost in all the like the geekiness of it.
Almost bought for myself, like no, no, no, it's day
we can you can.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Wait, not for me next week, next week.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
If you think you need anything to go down in
your office, be like, no, I'm good. I got a
lot of stuff down here.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
I'm pretty cool. I'm okay, so secure.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
That also bought her a Lego set of it was
the the Owl House. I think Harry Pottery. Yeah, yeah,
I really wanted to get her the the uh the
us it it's him and the.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
What's More cycle called it that the grades voter cycle.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
I wanted to get that, but I was like, is
that going to say together once? Yet his hand hand
on it, you know what I mean, because it actually.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Does roll where at least if you get like a
set it kind of just like is there exactly, you
can't move it around as much.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
We actually we have we have I don't know if
you know what this is. You ever have a built
in in a dining.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Room we sat, I used to have one. Yeah, yeah,
we had those.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Right now and she still feel with my dad's shot
glasses from money with me own the house and eventually
we're going to actually move all the stuff out of
there and make that our Lego display room basically.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Cause it was like I got I got the powering
just downstairs the Legos in the middle floor.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
You know, we're good, baby.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
So that was a fun adventure to go do that
down down there. That was mall is a lot bigger
than I remember it being for some reason. I don't
know why, but it's a nice ride on Saturday, kind
of a pre Mother's Day thing to come of a
family thing. We went down to d C in your
neck of the woods. Yeah, National Smithsonian which is always fun.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Which one we go to? Which one we go to?
Speaker 3 (09:34):
National History Museums. When we went to that's that's cool.
I wanted to go to the American Street Museum because
that one's fun too, but it's better. Aleah wanted to
see the giant squid, So okay, you.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Can't argue that one. Okay, that's a good time.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
It's always funny. When we entered from the non mall
side and then you kind of got walked through the
weird bird exhibit, all the stuff birds, the elevator and
then just let go of Thelui vaiinant elephant, and so
that was kind of fun for here because she thought
she I guess she thought she was one place. If
you opened the door see that, she goes, what, Oh.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
It's been selling museums.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
They keep on giving appreciate them while we got them
just say yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, because then they used to have a really cool
butterfly to it. There we actually can kind of walk through.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
It's always closed, and it's always been closed.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah, I've been wondering how long has it been closed,
because I wonder if it's been closed since the beginning
of this year. I'm not going to say anything else,
but I wanted to how long it's been interesting. But
also have a really cool exhibit there, like right on
the top floor, like all in the back. It's a
cell phone exhibit about all the cell phones we used
to have and why people are.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Like in the Natural History Museum, it.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Is, which is but the ends one wall though what
it shows alsof used to have. I was like, you know,
a Nintendo, a a CD player or radio, and it's like, yeah,
it all replaced by you know, this was siting here
a cell phone. And then they have this on other
like display case where you just look at all these phones.
I'm like, I'm old.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
I had the phone that is my phone. They took
that from me.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
And it can be sad though, because now everybody's phone,
whether you have Android or Apple, what doesn't matter. Everybody's
phone is a black rectangle. That's everybody's phone.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Now. Well maybe well they have affordable ones and the
roll up ones, but no one wants those. So yeah,
nobody wants those. We're all actually Kevin, you want to
feel old. This year is the twentieth anniversary of the iPhone,
so you want to feel old.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
That's twenty years of iPhone geezus crazy. But we look
at like the I wat I took a picture of it.
I should have said it to you, But we look
at like that that wall. But how phone used to look.
They were open, they were you know, they were flip phones.
They were regular phones. They were phones that you could
kick out sideways and have a pretty keyboard. I had,
remember the Envy, Remember the verse of the Envy. No,
(11:45):
so that that was basically it's a two screen phone.
They had a small scheme on the outside and you
could open it up. They had a cardy keyboard and
a watching on the inside. It was a great phone.
But it was some of these phone designs back then,
and now everything's just like a boring black ranc tangle.
Like what.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Future, Kevin, We're in the future.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Well, let's go back to the past, which is just
a phone engineering because it was. It was crazy. It
was a crazy time never So we did that at
a restaurant I saw on big Slims. TikTok.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, you didn't go to the place I wanted you
to go. But then you said, because somebody didn't want
to Hamburg. Yeah, that's fine, it's okay, I hamber I
want chicken they had chicken.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
They had chicken there.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
She didn't want that chicken chicken nuggets different eight year
old whatever, don't talking about. But went to the place
was victim a big slim it's called chickenishes in like Suitland.
It was good, pretty good. And then of course men
say Mother's Day, did all the Mother's Day stuff? I
actually it was at church. We had we we do
(12:43):
this thing a our church every Mother's Day and Father's Day,
where like the on Mother's Day, the men serve the
women and the women men women do everything the women
usually do, and then vice versa on Father's Day. So
we did chicken and waffles for the for the ladies yesterday,
but we did homemade fresh waffles made by your.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Boy, oh maybe by Kevin only.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
I was up late Saturday night that she making waffle
batter for for for church Sunday morning. And the waffles
were freshly made each one.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Yeah, trade I made those. You appreciate them.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
I was told I did a great job because I
actually doctor her up. My my, my, uh waffle on
cake mix.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
Here.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
It's a little pro tip here if you're ever making
just piccic mixed from like the the Boxer, like that
which you want to do is get some cinna dust
from your local grocery store. Put a little cinna dust
in that mix, and a couple of tables from of sugar.
It will change everything about the waffle water pancake. It's
a little pro tip.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
A little dad tip from dad, you know.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
And then we went went went home and of course
since we since we watched, went to the National Sisonia
and for Histy Museum on Saturday. On Sunday, what movie
do you watch?
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Hoodie Battle Battle of Smithsonian Nights the museum too, not
the first one, just.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Exactly, and actually liked it. She seen the before. It's like,
I actually liked that movie.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
That was pretty cool. Then you watch the London one, Well,
I guess we're going to London now.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
No, no, I can't watch the third one.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Sorry, no your hopes.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
But it was funny when it was done. But recommended,
recommend It wasn't the third one. It was actually I
forgot about this the animated series he did? When did
he plus first lunch? It wasn't good.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
No, that's worth three time.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
But I'll far past off to you. It was funny
that on Saturday, after we were driving back from the
Funnies It's Money Museum. We passed National Stadium and then
I looked on your in your in your story and
you were there. I'm like, oh shit, I just pass Hoding.
I should have stop.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Hell yeah, you know how I do on the weekend.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
But what you been up to, buddy?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:35):
So this weekend it was Moore's birthday, So happy birthday
in them or.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
It's not her birthday anymore.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Now the next day I see someone, I go happy
on birthday, like, welcome to the real world.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Now you gotta celebrate being old.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Now, who's actually older?
Speaker 2 (14:54):
You were more me by eight months? Yeah, eight months? Yeah, yeah, okay,
I know what's same school year? You know we're in
the same school year. That's okay. Yeah, I turned early.
I get older at the beginning of school year, if
she gets old at the end of the school year.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Still in school though.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
But it was a good weekend overall, definitely. Before we
get into mor of stuff played Saminio Jones, I have
like an hour and a half left in that damn game,
and I'm done. I see the tunnel. I'm like, oh,
all right, we got all pieces. Now we got to
go do the last put them all together thing that
we're good to go. Yeah, so hopefully we'll have that
finished more. And I did watch Companion over the weekend.
(15:36):
Jack Quaid from The Boys, Sophie Thatcher from Yellow Jackets,
and I think she was in Book of Boba Fett.
She was one of the Scooter kids alone.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
But actually he's pretty good them.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Oh what the hell is his name? Companion cast Uh Harvey,
Gillian Giermo from What We Do in the Shadows and
Lucas Gage who he's kind of been like a character
actor and a bunch of things, like he was in
White Lotus the first season. They actually kind of they
killed it. And I think it's a it's a really
good movie that you think the trailer spoils everything, but
(16:14):
it's not everything.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
That's all little same. Yeah, it's fun.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
So because I know a lot, like a lot of
times for me to commitce more to watch the movie,
she watches the trailer on the streaming service it gives
you and usually the streaming service ones or the spoilery
ones more than anything, but overall really good. It's I
think it was only like hour fifty, so it's not
too long of a thing. And Jack Quaid hold me.
He's he's on the come up, which is great.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
It is like his third movie. I feel like Short's
like Novacame and then this one is another one. He's
in too, coming up the other one.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Oh, it's uh, isn't it the movies?
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Uh, that's not helping.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Let's go to movies. No music videos. No, we don't
want that movie. Neighborhood Watch. Oh, Heads of State. He's
in the John Cena movie with in Yourself. Yeah, yeah,
there we go.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
We got it. We got their baby.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
But besides that two other big things. It was Moore's
birthday weekend, which is great. Saturday, we went to the
Nationals game. Like Kevin just said, uh, it was a
rough game until the very last stading and we're like, oh,
we're in.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Grand Slam territory.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Josh Bell's up hole, here we go. And we didn't
get it. That's okay. It was three to four. That's okay,
though we did get This is my patent and move
if you go to Nant's Park, it is the Korean
cheese dog. It is behind home plate, like right on
the right side of home plate. It is good every time.
But it's a Monzarella cheese stick. Essentially and you put
it's Korean, it's great chef's kiss. We get it every
(17:48):
time we go. And also pro tip if you don't
want to go to the Bullpen because the line is
too long, go straight into the stadium because they do
have happy hour pricing. So we got I've kind of
become a couch onto the Vodkai's teas. Those are the
new waves of like high Noons and your white Claus
and uh two for one, so that was that was
a good price. You know, the Bullpen's intimidating, it is,
(18:12):
it is. It is very intimidating, tell you that. But
it was fun because Mora's youngest sister Caroline, her brother Tommy,
and his girlfriend Izz he all joined us.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
And then we.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
There's a pool bar. It's a bar that's themed after
a pool. There's not an actual pool. We went thereafter
took the Mattro back to Clarendon, got some taco bell
Cantina to round out the night and that was great.
On Saturday and then Sunday, uh, we went on a.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Hike that was supposed to be a fun thing turned
out to be a.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Hike from hell.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
On Sunday for more's actual birthday was on the.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
Worst Slash Best Ones. But it's like this is gonna
be a fun joint and he's.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Like, I just want to go home, please killing uber
home and defeat that.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
But does Actually on our honeymoon, we were went on
a hike and they were we would have when they
were like.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Back so more and I live kind of near Reagan Airport.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
I won't say where, but we got on four Mile Trail,
which is four and four mile run is this big thing.
It's not actually four miles at seven miles we found out,
but we're about halfway on that trail sort of. So
we take the high trail to Reagan Airport, thinking, all right, great,
we'll go to there's a part called Gravelly Point, which
is you could seal the planes fly over you and land,
(19:26):
which is kind of cool. Got past Reagan, You're like, oh,
that's forty minutes to go. We've done at least four
miles for sure. We said, all right, well, let's go
to Crystal City. We'll get some lunch there. Went through
this random parking lot in Reagan Airport and I'm like,
Google Map says to go this way more swalking directions.
(19:46):
Mora didn't have eight, but you know, we pulled through.
It's okay. We got there and I'm like, crap, we've eaten.
Now we have to go back to walk back. So
we got into a big circle. But we started at
twelve then get home to caught, so it's a three
hour Hey, we discovered our city.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
Saying well, at least it was a day off.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
It was like a yeah, it was a day off,
and that was the you had to do yesterday, so
that worked out. We got some Mexican food after, which
was delicious as always. And unfortunately, I have to report
if you rely on that free cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory
on your birthday, it is not free anymore. In twenty
twenty five. You have to buy something before you get
(20:28):
the free cheesecake.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Inflation's crazy, man.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
And granted, the cheapest thing I looked it up was
a couple of rice, a white rice, for two dollars.
So we didn't do it. We're not just fine paying
two dollars for this cheesecake is supposed to be free.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Dammit, cheesecake factory, what's become of a mighty institution.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yeah, but we went to Charlotte, so that was kind
of the gift I paid for a flight and all
that stuff. So good birthday I think she had.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
I mean she said it was good. That's all that matters.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Right, Yeah, it's just cool thing. My wife's in. They'll
always say it was great. You never nobody really think, but.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Please tell me you liked it. Uh. And then Kevin,
my last thing I have officially finished. Jurassic Park World
slash World Camp Cretaceous is in the books. Baby, how
did you like that?
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Ending? It was kind of like all like, you know.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Well, it was cool. They did a flash forward spoilers,
but then they're like, wait a second, this supposed to
be was. They were t and chaos sterea up the
whole time. And then I said, we're gonna change the
animation on the characters. Anyway.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
There's some people were doing it like, hey, stay tuned,
they're going to age up and be adults.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Now.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
They're like, hey, we're gonna skip over Jurassic World, Kingdom
Fallen Kingdom there you go go straight to Dominion.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
I mean they all have that's the world was. Obviously,
that's what it was a good movie. Kingdom and Dominion
are weird.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
They're not good. Uh, I thought overall good. It did
kind of drag a little bit, but I think overall good.
I wouldn't know, Kenju still bitch, I think you redeem
yourself that quickly.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Say it doesn't change much in the new one. Unfortunately,
that's okay.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
But yeah, I thought it was a good It was
a very good ending. Granted, Kevin, you watch it when
it actually ended. So when did it end? What year
did it end?
Speaker 3 (22:20):
Actually twenty twenty two, maybe twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Three, okay, and the Chaos theory started what twenty four
last year? Twenty yeah, so look a year and a half,
two years jump before they do the thing. I think
it was always built in, like just keep the show
going because people kids are gonna watch it, and it's
how you get them to watch the movies and buy
the toys of the park.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
So cheap show to make far the animation goes because
none of those actors are like I mean, the first
season had what's her name from Wednesday voicing Jenna Ortega. Yeah,
but she hasn't been back.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Yeah. They though they changed a lot of the voice
casts from season or from the Camp Cretaceous to Chaos
there because they're all aged up slash they didn't want
to pay for that.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
There's the do and whatever.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
I make a real nex explain now, get out of
my face.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
But it is funny how they have an epilogue of
camprontations like, oh, the animation has changed a lot. They
finally said, Oh. I was like, oh, they probably just
did this as like a pilot for Chaos there.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Basically I'd be like it though, And like I said,
it isn't the level of I want to say, peak
clone Wars when it comes like relating to the original
source material. But it definitely gives you a better look
into what was going on inside the Jurassic World world
while the movies are happening as well.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yeah, cool, so we'll see chaos stereoyte take me a
little longer, a little break, and go straight into it,
you know.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Yeah, you deserve it. You know I deserve it. You
know it finished it Finally.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
There's a weird whistle lady. In the next season, it's
gonna be like, oh my gosh, this person's terrifying. That'll
be a little teaser to get back to it maybe
the next month or two.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
That is true. Uh, but Kevin, let's get on into
the actual news. It's time for the new.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
It's no.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
First, thanks, First, let's talk about the Last of Us
Season two, episode five. So, Kevin, has your wife caught up?
Slash watched season two of the Last of Us at all.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
She watched the first one and then we got busy
with a bunch of stuff the last couple of weekds.
She hasn't caught up yet, but she will be very upset.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Verson' So it is wild to think we're already in
the back half of the season. We have two episodes
left of the Last of Us for this season, and
this one really was all right, let's get this is
going start the murder vandetta, which is what this episode was.
Really We seen alien Dina really just formulating a plan
(24:51):
how to infiltrate the Fireflyes sort of hospital base of
Operation two degree and their first victim, Norah aka the
main lady who'll be an intergalactic the next Naughty.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Dog video game.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Oh yeah, that's right.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Okay, they said we're soft launching her again after the
Uncharted movie because she was in that too, Tom Mallen,
she don't.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Be where you want to be?
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Yeah, but yeah, I thought it was pretty good.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
I haven't played the game yet I'm trying to finish
Indiana Jones first before we do that, And Kevin, I'm
very tempted uncharted the Nathan Drake Collections freight.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Bucks on PlayStation, Like Kevin.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Dude, sitting in my PlayStation cloud. I can play it
any time I want, and.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Maybe it's time I buy it. And then we race
to see who could finish the trilogy first.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
It's a race get Kevin to find play it.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
But the episode kind of call makes we find out
that spores are officially now in the show. Uh. Infamously,
last season people were like, we're ho spores, that was
the whole thing, and the whole thing was, well, we don't.
We were paying for Petro Pascal, we don't want to
cover his face.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
And in this scenario they said, well, hey, one of
the characters is gonna die anyway, and and the other
one's immune, so we don't need to put them in
gas mask.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
It's fine.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
For those unfamiliar with the Abby deaths, it's it's a
brutal Oh.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
This is a Nord death. We're not even at the
Abby de It's gonna be like.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
It it's pretty You see the where Ellie is sunk into.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
Yes, but we do see the Seraphytes, which are the
scars people. They're a little freaky too, which is cool
because it definitely in this episode it felt like you
were watching like, oh, you're in the cut scene. You
gotta watch the cut scene, and all of a sudden
you gotta.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
Run about how the game was very very much like that.
It's like, but I think overall good.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Next week we're gonna is that typical flashback episode at
the end of this episode, joelan, Hey, you're like, oh, flashback,
here we go. She's saying things.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
And we said that even though he's gone in story,
he'll be back for more episodes technically.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Yeah, going for probably in the next season as well.
And then I feel like the finale episode will probably
be the aftermath of what how Ellie was killing Nora Slash.
Maybe she'll kill one other person and that than the
road to Abby, I think is how we end this season,
and the next season picks up with like the Abby story.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yeah, and I don't now I'm not gonna say that
never mind, I'm want to say something to deter comcial
few words, but know what I'm show, there you go.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
But that's the last of us having a good time.
I do think a lot of people kind of critiquing it.
It is getting the same critiques as the video game.
I've seen a lot a lot of people just hate
and hate uh and that's stupid. So we were in
twenty twenty five get educated.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Because it's when you when you fall in love with
a character very very much and you see them, you know,
get taken out, and that taking that taking out kind
of like in a in a brave way, m.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Hm, a sucky ways, like it hurts.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Yeah, you know, it really does hurt.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
I think overall, I think this show is gonna stick
to landing, and I think it's gonna stick it better
than the video game, because I know a lot of
people weren't happy with how the game.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Ended and dragged a little bit.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
We're just a little more streamlined, so we'll see how
we get there. We still got, you know, season two
episodes agotil we finally see if this ends or not.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
I need to show to end well, so I have
hope for my God War show on that need that.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
But Kevin talking about things we're hoping for, Let's talk
about some rumors because rumor has it, Kevin, that's where
you go. Rumor has it? We have done those wait
for the opening there. I don't have it.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Apparently we know it might know two people playing some
X Men and.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
The potential director of the X Men and the MCU.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Yeah, we mentioned this I think off camera off the
podcast last week that potentially directed on the Thunderbolts Jakes
try or maybe be helming the new X Men movie.
I'm like, you know what I'm in.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
I'm in. He made me like the Thunderbolts and made
me love the Ice Man, you know exactly.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
He's good at ensemble movies.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
He seems to have like that that that James gun is.
I'm your guy. I can do it.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
I can do it. And I think that's really what
Marvel kind of has to do nowadays and is not
just oh, you know, we're gonna give it. Any director
wants a shot a shot is hey, who are your winners?
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Who you know?
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Who?
Speaker 1 (29:31):
You know?
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Man was the same director I forgot the name of it,
said Ryan Coogler is your Black Panther director Dessin Daniel
Cretin did Schunk Chi and then now he's even spider Man.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
The Russo's like, it makes.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Sense, honestly, after Senators Hiroan Coogler, after you've done right
in by paper three, think about what we're.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Thinking about Blue Marvel. Harsh is still available for Blue Marvel. Now.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
I'm just saying that Ryan Coo did a horror movie
about making a horror movie, so why can't he make
a Hey when you're done, yeah, scream some stuff.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
But according to Deadline, Shreier is in early talks of
Marvel to do the new x FN movie. UH state
negotiations is a mystery, but Deadline reported it, so it
is something credible to an agree, even if he's just
being talked about with it. Apparently the script is being
written by Hunger Games Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes writer
Michael Leslie, which I liked that movie.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
I thought it was pretty good.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
A couple of good reviews. It wasn't like, you know,
universally paying.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
The Hunger Game movies are kind of all over the place,
and you know, after Catching Fire, I liked it. So
we'll see what happens with this. The other interesting thing
is that over the weekend they it's not announced, but
the front runners it looks like for two x Men,
and we're kind of leaning a lot younger than I
(30:50):
think we were used to, which it works. Is that
actress Trinity Bliss or Trinity Joe Lee Bliss potentially is
the front runner to play Jubilee in the X Men movie.
She most famously was an avatar The Way of Water.
So I can't help you with that one, Kevin, did
you see it?
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Wait? But she was blue, so it doesn't really count.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
That she looks like that is true. I've seen that
is googled her. That looks like do you believe me?
Speaker 2 (31:21):
And then the other kind of looks like front runner
right now is Patrick Schwarzenegger, Mike, Kevin, who do you
think you think of Patrick Schwarzenegger aka Golden Boy from
the Boys and FROMI He's in that white Load to
season Who do you see him as?
Speaker 3 (31:37):
I'm honestly kind of hoping he would be. I can't
remember his name right now, from Dipple to uh my
Colossus is a Colasses? Yes, I wanted to be Colosses.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
You tell me, Kevin, I don't know what character you're.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
Talking about, but I'm guessing Cyclone.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Cy co Ops.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Yeah, So I'm like, helly, I guess I'm an advisor
right now. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
I guess so, but I was, I don't know. I
feel like Cyclops should be a more even though he
can be younger, a more established actor that can portray emotion.
I haven't seen that he can make me care about
Cyclops his troubles, I think.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
I mean, I think he did really good in Why
this past season a White Lotus and then Golden Boy
in gen V wasn't in a lot but it was like, oh,
kind of put him on the map for most of us.
With gen V, I think it makes sense to me
he is a little bit older. I mean, he's not old,
but he's older than the Jubilee actress, you know, so
(32:42):
maybe it is established that, you know, Cyclops and Jean
Gray are older, but the rest of the team, I mean,
Jubilee in the even in the animated stuff is younger too,
So that makes sense as well. But I think for
X Men, we kind of talked about with this Fantastic
Four of like who would play his care Do you
cast young?
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Do you cast old?
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Obviously now patro Bascal being read Richards, Joe Quinn being
human towards that's kind of the age range. You want
X Men, you kind of want younger too, because you
want them to age into those roles and stay in
those roles. Because for X Men, we for so long
we've had actors do it, and then hell, here's a
new trilogy. Guess what.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Hugh Jackman's only want who can play Wolverine?
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Still sorry.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Saying in a while ago, I wouldn't mind if this
show did kind of like what they're doing with Harry
Potter and having a television show to kind of establish
who the X Men are very young and then build
to a movie. Yeah, I mean that that can We
haven't really seen any, saye for Wanda from WandaVision, I
will say they haven't really been any successful series two
(33:46):
movie movies yet. But with the X Men branding, it
might be a little easier.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
But I mean, you kind of have X Men ninety
seven already right now, and I know it'll be completely
different than that, but I think that is a good
primer to like, all right, this is why I want
you know, younger Scott Summers to beat. This is who
I want you know to play Nightcrawler before all this
drama happens with Apocalypse multiple times.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
You know, exactly, and also I think part of me
also just justice for James Martins. He's gonna die again.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
He's gonna He's gonna die.
Speaker 6 (34:16):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
And this is right before the podcast happened. Trendy Online
Apparently it's rumored that Neve Campbell might play Polaris in
the MCO Really yeah, which that is a daughter as
a child of Magneto villain, So we'll see what happens.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
That's interesting.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
I mean, Neive Campbell was a good villain in Twisted
Metal as like a very like you think she's there
to help you, but she's not really, So maybe they
could do something similar.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Are there any other actors you can think of that
that you want to see as X men?
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Well, I mean, well it depends because really, like when
we got Kelsey Grammer as Beast in the End of
the Marvels.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
Like, oh, he's gonna be beasts and everything.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
No, it's more really to send up Avengers, Doomsday and everything.
It'll be interesting. I mean, it's also gonna be like
three years from now until we can get an excellent movie.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
So it's really like who you see as an up
and comer.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
Now, Jack Wade would be a good get.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
I really think just capitalize on Jack Quaid now.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
Jack Wade actually would be an excellent iceman.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
I think, oh Babby and apparently the other rumor in
Margaret Qualley.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
She's been in a bunch of things. She's the rumor
for Rogue.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
So I mean, look at young Hollywood right now, and
that's probably gonna be who the actors are.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
Like, I would still love, like everybody's saying this for
a while, I would love to Wanda wives a Storm
because she just looks like Storm to me. And also
if they've brought Emma Frost into this, into this, foll
Bryce down is Howard I think would be an excellent
Emma Frost.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Well see, and that's the thing, like you gotta play
like how are we going with the X Men? Because Dewanda,
why is he's forty so that it can't be her?
And then here is like do you believe he's fifteen?
Speaker 3 (35:58):
You know, there's been another rumors that one of the
reasons why Ao had a Barry dropped out of Thunderbolts
because they were rethinking of her maybe using her for
Storm instead.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
She's not young. I don't see I don't see io
as like a powerful take the screen. Storm is like,
I own that screen. It's Ali Berry in the voice actress.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Yeah, yeah, totally change because she's been kind of like,
you know, snarky, smart, funny person for most of her
career so far. She has totally totally changed the way
she's been portrayed on screen, you.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Know what I mean? Would be good. I'm like, let
me look at Sinners. But I'm like most of the
cast and Center has been in something for Marble. Really,
it's so that whole cast was like no.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Retirement village Jamie Jamie.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Lawson who played the Pearline, who was Preacher boys love interest.
That could be a good young Storm because I mean,
I feel like she's basically probably gonna be on the
come up to after Sinners.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Yeah, she's twenty seven, but she looks like she's you know.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
She could be twenty. You know.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
It's age Cairo and she's a goddess of weather all
that kind of stuff. But she is the mare Gotham City,
so I don't know that complicates anything. But we'll never
see the Batman two anyways, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Wait, she is the mayor of Gotham.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Oh my god, what oh wow? That talk about a
role and you're like, oh, yeah, that was that was something.
And Penguin. She was in Penguin for a little bit exactly.
But yeah, I mean, obviously take these things with grain
and soult. But it is interesting. You know, the longest
time we had the Fantastic four rumors and now we're
a xven full ahead. I mean, I think that's gonna
be your next big tent pole movie after Secret Wars
(37:37):
and whatever. I mean, Spider Man comes out in between them,
but twenty twenty eight is probably only good xpen.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
And when we kind of went around across all these
casting and cast but I don't think anything is harder
right now than casting the next wolver Ee that that's
gonna be because I don't think he'll be in the
next X Men movie. I wouldn't see him seeing him
until we're like the X Men two credit scene and
credit scene. I feel like it's gonna be a while
with Wolverine again. But I mean, I don't know who
(38:07):
the heck you get to replace.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
You can't be Henry Cavill now because you blew that.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
So I've been saying for years I wish it was
it could have been uh John John, which Punisher burn
Taron Egerton was rumored at one point.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
Dana Radcliffe is rumored at one point.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Can I can I do venom Tom Hardy? Now I
don't Tom Hardy or done with Tom Hardy. No, he
doesn't need to be in it.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
I guess you're right.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
He give me saber Tooth. I want to leave Shriver
back tooth. Dannil Radcliffe as Sabertooth maybe maybe.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
Well, there's no he was gonna be wolver Raining for
a while and I could see that a little bit.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Kenna reeves Woverine.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Don't tease me with a good time.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
I think the other thing is to like, sure you
get the young cast, but also nail your professor X
is another big one because like McAvoy and technically Magneto,
because McAvoy and Fassbender they kind of nailed it after
Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, So we just see can
they go three for three with that?
Speaker 3 (39:16):
And it's funny because both of those McAvoy and the
Maganego guy and Ian McKellen and Peto all like friends
off screen to do that again too.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
We need a dynamic. Yeah, it's a chemistry test. You
know you got me friends of her life for life.
But Kevin, that's the marvel side of news. We're done
with that for today because you know, there's potentially an
Ironheart trailer tomorrow, which we'll talk about Thursday and Wednesday
is supposed to be a Superman trailer. Let's talk about
(39:47):
some DC things. Actually, let's say the real true start
of the DCU Peacemaker, because season two finally got a trailer.
You know, just watch it's like two hours ago, and
that's okay. I it was funny. I also watched two
hours ago when I watched Last of Us. It was
right there in front of the Last of Us. I
was like, why not even watch these on YouTube? It's
mostly gonna be on the show. I'm gonna watch anyway
(40:08):
on Max.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
It was just funny, though. I kept to anybody tweet
about it and post about it, text me about it
on Friday, and I'm gona watch want to watch it?
I've never got a chance.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
You're busy.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
It's okay. It's Mother's Day weekend and birthday weekend.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Sound good for more.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
A lot of things happen, A lot of things happening.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
So Kevin, you've seen it once. Uh, just the recap.
We both were really high on Peacemaker Season one. Both
kind of went into kind of being like, I don't
know what we're gonna get into, and it sold us. Obviously,
it's been a while. I think Peacemaker Season one was
that like twenty twenty twenty one. I think, yeah, twenty
one and twenty two, we're like twenty twenty two January
(40:43):
twenty twenty two. Yeah, so it's been three years and
some change. When it actually comes out, we know it's
gonna come out August twenty first. Uh, so you'll have
some time after the Last of Us until this comes out.
I don't know what the the show in between them
is gonna be, but we'll figure that out most likely
when Last of Us is over. But Kevin, anything else
before you watch the trailer.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
I'm excited about this. I'm hoping that this can I
want to see Dunking Day one day in DC movie.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
But like that, well, I mean that might happen.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
It may happen because at the start of this trailer,
DC using Full of Fact three Kevin and we can
hit play one two three.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
They're gonna be doing backflips to get you to John.
Speaker 2 (41:29):
Welcome Peacemaker or do you prefer Chris. Either's fine.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
I'm considered the finest marksman in the world.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
Yeah, I am also proficient in hand to hand combat.
More things do we have today?
Speaker 3 (41:48):
I have a variety of helmets.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
This guy sucks.
Speaker 4 (41:51):
Excuse me, am, I supposed to be able to hear
you guys.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
Excuse me you were talking about your button stuff. And
also you said that I suck. It is not funny. Hell,
you don't get it. We saved the world. I thought
everyone would finally treated like heroes.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
I don't need anybody else.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
It's just gorge modd.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
You're living in the worst level of grand theft.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
Auto.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
I've come to the conclusion you suffer from a particularly
severe form of toxic masculinity.
Speaker 6 (42:28):
What Argus has been monitoring Peacemaker ever since Rick Flax Sr.
Was named director?
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Hell yeah, animated crossover.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
Now bring me Peacemaker MEXICALI he's to answer any anomaly
throughout that house.
Speaker 2 (42:44):
Pony boy, don't let him.
Speaker 6 (42:45):
Out at your side, Titties, I want you to.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Take the front door. See no, man, you take the
back door.
Speaker 4 (42:50):
Got it? Yeah, but not the fucking names.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (42:53):
You can't just call us that.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
Where do you think we are? Fucking Berkeley Man. We
haven't always been great people, but we are the Eleventh
Street kids.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
No one will ever break us apart.
Speaker 4 (43:10):
Yeah, you ready for the next adventure?
Speaker 6 (43:21):
Pelle your life?
Speaker 2 (43:32):
The fuck are you? Multiverse? But yeah, I mean this
is the we are bringing everything together finally. You know,
we know we have Superman in July. This comes out
probably essentially a month after that, or connected all the
pieces finally, so it's all gonna be finally one Universe
(43:53):
animated TV show movie with Peacemaker season two.
Speaker 3 (43:58):
We will see, uh if it works. I think it
will work because James Gun is pretty good at this
and they've had a long time of playing this.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
Out and Gun's doing this again. It's not just he
gave it to someone else, you know exactly.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
I think the smartest thing they did is kind of
give Gun the hands on of the first parts of
the universe. Cready, Commandos this and Superman like, let you
do everything first, and then Burnett and then han Gun.
It's all handed off stuff.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Yes, this could be a lin Manuel and the random
moment of the many things that he's doing all the time. Yeah,
this looks I mean the main glimpse we've had a
Peacemaker before. This was him coming out of that storefront,
which we now know is his audition for the Justice League,
Sean Gunn officially as Maxwell Lord. You got Nathan Fillion
(44:41):
again his guy Gardner. You got Isabella murcad hot off
of Last of Us, which is why it was probably
in for the trailer for Last of Us as Hawk Girl. Great,
give us more glimpse of them, get us more exposed
to them, kind of being the new setup of the
sort of Peacemaker side team of like these are all
start connecting pieces, so it's not just John Economos and
(45:03):
James Gun's wife connecting everything.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
And I even love the love the addition of Tim Medals.
I'm sorry because the funny thing about Tim Metals is
he always shows up in things you don't think he'll
be in for some reason.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
Don't want any part of this doing.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
And and also I love so this is called that
season one, how serious Jounty actually takes his role. He
could have just took this as Okay, I'm my action guy,
shoot guns cool, but no, he like really dope into
all of this, and you can see him really trying
to make this good.
Speaker 2 (45:34):
It will be interesting just where he currently is with
the WWE. How that will tie into Peacemaker promotion because
if this is coming out in August, you assume like
he's good around summer slam time, like he's got to
play nice.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
So yeah, I think his last days in October. I
think that's what they said. October in London or no,
October in Boston is actually his last day. So his
last day is actually want to be in his hometown.
I kind of feel like, maybe who playing that a
little better and maybe your last days before your show starts?
Speaker 1 (46:05):
Yeah, or maybe you know, we keep you good till
you old. Maybe he'll lose a pi tnal after the
show comes down.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
But also Michael Rooker in there as well, uh, potentially
playing a new character as far as we know, and
not this. It was a savant I think was his
character in the Suicide Squad and he lasted minutes. Yeah,
he was the one who ran away and I think
got his brain blewed up. That came the title Secrets
and the Suicide Squad in case you forgot, But you
know it is John Cena in the cheesy costume and
(46:33):
it is looking like Justice League have uniforms that they
use that incorporating their suits.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
Uh, just cool to see.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
Guy Gardner in the in the ring. Just hit more
exposure on that before we get Lanterns, I think at
the end of next year, and it looks like, you know,
just our our squad of Vigilante and uh.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Amanda Waller's daughter for order.
Speaker 2 (46:54):
It wasn't on my show, just the eleven Street kids
doing their things, and it looking like, maybe, you know,
things didn't turn right for them in this universe. So
we're going to retreat back to Peacemaker's dad's little infinite
closet and find out leads to a different universe, and
we see Peacemaker probably take over for the other Peacemaker
(47:16):
the Justice League.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
But that's a really fun wayverse, honestly, And I believe
her character was named Liota.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
There we go that.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
Yeah, good to see good to see her back. I
really enjoyed her role in the last series. And like
you said, this whole group together, it's just like a
fun group to have together.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
And I think what's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (47:42):
I think the first scene we see in this trailer
of him auditioning for the Justice League, I think I
think there's two arcs that happens in this it is
it is the the revenge of Rick Flax Senior against
John against Peacemaker and the Squad. Then they you know,
episode five or whatever, itsh is hitting the fans. So
they then jumped the portal to the other world, and
(48:04):
that's where we get all the Justice League connection with Peacemaker.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
And we also see too, like how desperate he was
to have a friend in the first season. So I'm
pretty sure it's gonna ruin him to kill himself literally.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
Or just it happens quickly you're like, oh, okay, that
was it.
Speaker 2 (48:20):
Now we're good. We're not, we figured it out. But yeah, overall,
I'm hyped as hell. It looks like a good time.
And August twenty four, I think there will probably be
eight episodes peas two episodes count. There will be eight episodes. Yeah,
so that'll take you right into October, so it will
(48:43):
be perfect.
Speaker 3 (48:44):
Well, the final date I probably will coincide.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
And then you get your piece Maker, you get your
peace Maker costume, so and you're good. I want to
see a lot of Peacemakers at these wrestling events when
the show starts. Damn it. They should be going now,
but it's okay.
Speaker 3 (49:00):
I still kind of hope that he actually comes back
to Russell, but only as peacemaker.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
John Cena is done forever. But Kevin, let's switch on
over back to the normal view. Yeah, overall hip hype
trailer and we will. That's kind of got our summer
season sizzling going with Ironheart. If there's a trailer coming
(49:24):
out tomorrow's this podcast recording probably taking up the June
spot up until then.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
Once quick shouts of pretty strama as Adrian Chase slash Vigilante.
He's just funny. He's funny, great, a great guy who
just does great one liners the entire time.
Speaker 1 (49:39):
It's weird how it hit worked out.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
One liner is funny, it's just crazy.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
But Kevin, before we end the podcast, I want one
last minute prediction from you for and Or season two
as we wrap up the whole shebang on Thursday with
the last three episodes. What's your last minute theory or
prediction for.
Speaker 3 (49:59):
And Luten some kind of foreshooser.
Speaker 1 (50:04):
For Strategic Strategist. Oh, I like it.
Speaker 4 (50:06):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (50:07):
Maybe not a Jedi, maybe not Sith, but he's something
and that's why he's just so good at what he
does because he should have got fed on a long
time ago.
Speaker 1 (50:13):
He should have, he should have.
Speaker 2 (50:15):
I'm gonna give you two because I think this is
very fitting. Is Dedra will not die on this show,
because we will find out she has been placed on
the first death Star and it'll just be one of
those nameless deaths. At the end of a new Hope,
we're like, oh, I got a promotion. I can't wait.
(50:36):
One year later, two I thought that it's fine.
Speaker 1 (50:42):
It's fine.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Also, this is fun I saw on TikTok before I
get the other theory. The code name for Rogue one
was Oppenheimer, which is really cool. It was like Los
Alamos because essentially Galen Urso was Robert Oppenheimer.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
With a death Star and all that stuff. So is
kind of cool. It's a cool, cool.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
Second theory, Cassie and Sister will be the one to
continue and or season three continue the and door name.
Remember that sister we haven't heard a lot about. And
that way we get the bigs thing. It's it's scarce
still around it fully blow up or it's just that
one beach but there well.
Speaker 3 (51:22):
Season maybe about though it'd be interesting.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
Maybe rebels being I think that's the thing, just normal
rebels being rebels in between a new hope to empire
or the Jedi really and just it's random, that's kind
of what we wanted. Just what give me something of
the just the Joe Schmos, which is the show has
done a good job of them, like we gotta go
to hoff now and oh no, we're stuck in space
(51:46):
because we can't find a base now, you know.
Speaker 3 (51:49):
I think that's a good idea though, because I mean,
when we see the Rebel Alliance in the original it's
just han Leia and Luke, a couple guys, kind of
see them people that just got killed off, swing whatever,
but we didn't see the runnings of the actual Rebel Alliance.
I think it's a good.
Speaker 2 (52:04):
Idea actually, just saying I mean, we don't get we
don't need to go to the future. Just give me
some color, you know, get some color in the original trilogy.
Speaker 3 (52:11):
Live actual Star Wars Rebels series.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
Horn animated Rebelgency or we already did that, but animated
Luke con Lay a series will do that.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
I'll do that too. Actually, how old by that mind?
Speaker 2 (52:24):
But let us know your thoughts for and or are
you a hype for Peacemaker when that comes out? Are
you still good on last of us? Are you kind
of soured on it? Let us know at Infant Underscore
Pods on the SCRAMBA give it to you big a
c and be part of the conversation Twitch dot tv
or YouTube dot com slash Infinite Underscore Pods. And most importantly,
we're nominated now for two oars in Baltimore. The Baltimore

Speaker 3 (53:10):

Speaker 1 (53:12):
We want them everything, we want all.
Speaker 2 (53:14):
We're inevitable. We said Baltimore, we won you. We won
your hearts war plus one of them. If we get

Speaker 3 (53:27):

Get out of it anyway. My name is Hoodie.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
You know I'm Kevin, and you've officially listened to this.
