three episodes and one it is.And that that dinner scene was that that

talk about them because they really areLike we had Spider Verse and Guardians come
out like a month technically two monthsago too, and it feels like the
these are the two summer contenders forSummer movie of the Year. You think
it would have been um which isimpossible, but I feel like that the
strike comes still a lot of stuff. Yeah, I think it's swallowed because
it came out last week and likeTrek on Thursday and then no One talking,

Mission Boss Mission Bossible was actually reallygood. Yeah. Oh, I
feel like if they had to foreslightit made it come out like a week
earlier. Yeah what I mean intwo weeks it would have compete against Indiana
Jones and then that would have beeneven more interesting to see which one needs
to pick. Um. But Iguess we'll go first with Barbie just because
I've seen it. I really likedit, um really enjoyed it. I

thought it was a good blend ofhumor, emotional beats and just good sort
of that. This is my firstGretit Gerwig movie ever. I know she
did Ladybird, she's done Little Woman, which are kind of what made her
to critical fame. This probably isher most mass appeal of a movie.
Say which you will with that?Because the Barbie movie, Um, but
enjoyed it, Margar Robbie killed it, Ryan Gosling Sleeper hit funny because Kingsley

bet Adier is in it, whoplays Gravic in Secret Invasion, so he's
having a good summer. See Maliuis in it, and Chu Chigatwa,
who's going to be the new doctorwho is in it as well as a
Ken all great. I really lovedall the performances. I had a thought
about this what it was though,but I saw another cloud write to pop
description on Wikipedia this morning, andI saw as might as it isn't advertised,

that was kind of cool. Yeah, I think really advertised really from
the Barbie world perspective, but that'sreally only like the first third of the
movie for the most part, andwhich I really appreciate. And I think
the only thing that really leaked fromthe set when we were, you know,
getting through this production of the moviewas Barbie and Ken in the roller
skates and everything else was kind oflike on a set, so you didn't

really see it get leaked or anything. So you tell us mostly on set,
that's that's kind of cool. Yeah, it's in the Barbie, Barbie
Land, Barbie world, so itmakes sense like it's it's definitely not the
real world like that, it doeshave real world aspects, it is not

were kind of saying. They're like, oh, just tealing Lego movies formula

like Mattel is a thing, butit's not like, oh, but here

Yeah, you know the Lego movie. This movie is those movies combined essentially,

and really good message at the end. Did tear up a little bit
at the end, just because ithad a reflective moment like I love my
mom. She's great. Called upto the mom. I just want to
say, I love you. Highlightsongs in the movie, because, let's
face it, the soundtrack has beenone of the other more publicized things of
this movie. Um Billy Eilish songis slow, So if you love slow

Billy Eilish songs, you got that. But it's still Dualipa and the Naked
minaj I Spice songs that are theones that are the winners of the movie.
Then Hot Wheels, so that that'been kind of cool materials. We're
getting the Hot Wheels movie, sowe'll find out if we get a Barbie
crossover in that one anything, matchboxmatch I don't need a matchbox movie.

Dreamhouses a lot of good jokes,and if you need a good film,

the theater review of movies is good. Sat next to Eric and he very
fidgety. He gets very fidgety duringthe kind of monology parts where there's silence
and he's like, yeah, butit's so good. How do he like

that that's why this movie like hasan appealed to like everyone and not just

like people who like Barbies, isthat it's a comedy first and then,
like I said, has that messageat the end that isn't too like.
It doesn't beat you down the headwith it, but it is like apparent

means eighty nine percent of critics thinkit's a good movie and they enjoyed it.

the flip side of the Barbenheimer scale, there is Oppenheimer. It is sitting
at right now the review and Bargowas today at a ninety four percent in

salty about the Imax thing, Soit could be another one of those lawsuit
things. Actually makes hey, whatis an Imax? What is not?
Clarify it please and not like it'skind of other thing when Imax first came
out was that every theater chain thatdoesn't have Imax made their own thing.
It's like, oh, I thinkCinemark has what Cinemark XDA and it's like

it's not Imax, but it's biggerand it sounds better, but it's not
what you're looking for. Yeah,honestly, like XD is basically like I
feel like it's like four and ahalf K maybe five, kid don't know,
math that's what it feels and they'rein there. But but yeah,

kind of a scam because you're notseeing an Imax movie when you're paying that
ticket. And there are movies andI know we've talked about this before that
there are movies that play in theImax theater that weren't filmed with Imax cameras,
so it's still wired screen or doesn'ttake up the full screen. So
it's like, did I waste mymoney on this just to like just see
it bigger but it's not taking upeverything. Still kind of like the three

D scam where like some of thosemovies weren't filmed in three D. They
were they were converted to a threeD format and they sold Soldier three D
T Damn Street. But Oppenheimer backto it, don't need to see an
Imax necessarily make Jones said you couldsee it at home, which it will
be on Peacock because remember Christopher Nolan, Hey, it's WB now, so
you'll see it on Peacock. Eventuallygave the Stone Cold bird and gave him

Were Stonecolds Dave Hobson, that's thebottom lick, because Chris Nolan says,

critics are saying to Bobbenheimer, it'sChristopher Nolan's best film so far. Step
up to a new level for oneof our finest filmmakers. Um, it's

more impressive for all the director hasmade such a personal narrative feel epic,
not just some visual breath but dramaticsweep. Rarely have the highs and lows
of politics been the standingly charted.I don't know that sounds like a bad
one, but sure, okay,Um, the story, performances, filmmaking,
editing all top tier. Let's faceit, a lot of people were
in the movie. That's why theyou know, all of them walking out
of the screening in the UK wasa big deal because there was a lot

of big name actors that walked out. Yeah, I'm trying to get the
castlest real quick from peoples that canstupid, but this cast is unbelievable,
like literally like modern Hollywood in thisBasically that's who was in this movie.
Anybody that those are modern Hollywood moviesright there exactly like everybody's in the movie.
Like I was, like Florence Pughand Elly Blunt. You need both
high high quality British women actresses.Movie you do and you do. Um,

but yeah, if you're gonna gosee it, let us out which

was, correct. But then wesee Fury beginning episode taking a chair to

sit right in front of the rwhich is like, yeah, they want
to get to him, they gottaget through me. You know. I
like that scene, and because Ilove how much Nick Fir he can solve
with a pistol, He's like,they got one pistol. You remember an
Avengers. Yeah, he first herocket launched one jet and his pistol.
Try, what's the pistone dud?Because twenty you never know the right bullet,

right, air force right, everything, all that good stuff could work.
But then we got to the otherside. We find out Gravick and
his troops with Pagan and Beato,they're returning back from it to trying to
attack the president. They're back toNew Scrollos and turns like Pagan doubting Gravit
because he hasn't killed Fury, theyhaven't gotten the harvest everything they were promised
to do, and Gravic instantly killshim. Yeah, that's his number two

guy. He just instantly killed him. Hey, you can kind of see
here, Gravick's starting to get alittle bit untangled unraveled a minute. Somebody
challenged him. It wasn't like hedidn't even let it get to like an
uproar. Know you're dead, you'redone whatever, challenge my word. Yeah.
We find out Gaddick hasn't found theAvenger's DNA they're looking for. We
eventually find out it's the Harvest,making do with what they got, which

is Cold City and the Grood armor, all the good stuff. Also confirmed.
Just in case you got confused,Priscilla, her scroll name is Vara
so Bata Boom. If you rewatchit or you're watching it now, do
you know what the names are?Find out? Essentially, Beato the guy
from the beginning of episode one,he's now the new number two. And
this is where Gravick pulls up Scroty, which we pattent did last week,

to tell him about the scrolls inRussia. So that way Scroty can tell
President Ritson to attack Russia aka startWorld War three. Uh, sort of
as a backup plan essentially. Andso far, I guess the President's not
scroll. We all thought Breds willbe a scrolled the whole time. I

So gonna say it's stoop not reallya prediction because we know what's gonna happen.

pee out, and then he probablyyou pee out, you would assume eventually,

find out Sonja A k Olivia Coleman'scharacter the sort of government agent she thought

scroll. She kills him, shebecomes the new director of the Sis.
She's looking for doctor Dalton, orat least the scroll form of doctor Dalton
as far as we know. Andthen we cut back to new scrollos Beato's
asking Gravic for reassurance, like,hey, do we got everything under control?

What's next? What's going on?Scroll? Scroty calls from the ICU
saying, oh, President Ritz andbought it. And as soon as that
happens, the scroll is a turnon graphic. And it was a good
scene because I didn't see it comingat all. I didn't see it.
I thought this was going to bemore of like a just like a pow
wow of words him maybe just likeexuding his authority firmly, but not just

like, no, I'm gonna beatall yello up. Who wants who wants
us? Sorryos on Friday. Exactlyinteresting thing is we see him. We've

was she killed it in this show. And also going back to Nick Fury,

and Priscilla are going to make funeralfor Talos. But before that happens,
