Sorry Teddy, I embarrassed him.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
He moved to the side. We got a jamp back

Speaker 1 (01:05):
We're talking about the Last of Us season two, those
finale thoughts where we think the show's gonna go next.
In potential future seasons, how many will know. We're gonna
talk about the Street Fighter movie coming out eventually, the
eleven Ring movie coming out eventually, and those Marvel release
states that got moved around.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
I don't know, I don't know. I don't like it.
I'm saying that right now. I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I'll reserve my opinion to get to it and I
have a different opinion.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
But you can see everything we're gonna talk about today
is so much more by keeping a locked at infinite
underscore bides on the Instagram, Odi X go and give
it to we always have a good time. There a
good time boy or Kevin. Where can they watch us
in video form? Maybe join us in the jet or
maybe later if in case they're a little busy.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Joined us live twice a week on twitch dot tv
slash I underscore pods just like dB Perry, just like
Michael's up guys in the chat Aaron Giles and a
joke on all the crew or if you give you
that we understand well. You can also join us YouTube
dot com sash if to underscore pods on demand at
your own accord.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Why.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
By the way, we are hovering towards three D describe subscriber.
That's that's pretty cool on YouTube.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
So that's pretty cool. It's a small passion project. You know,
we don't really well put the time in when we can,
but sometimes you don't got a lot of time.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Okay, it's a marathon out a race, and unfortunately we
are both games. And you know, maybe us winning wives,
maybe us winning certain awards will help with the marathon,
maybe make the marathon go a lot faster. I almost sad,
lovely husbands, but we all kind of work husband work
husbands and we don't even work.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
We work together people. That's true, that is true. But
we always start the podcast properly. Now we've gotten the
riga mora on the way.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Uh, with something we like to call what Shit Doing,
where we talk about the.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Shows and movies. We've been watching games, we've been playing, lives,
we've been living. And because it is Monday, Kevin, you
get to go first. Good. So so what have I
been doing?
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Uh? I've been doing the morning show for the last
three days, Lord for five.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Years, welcome back.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Oh my gosh, I'm like, Hood, you are a stronger
man than me. Okay, I'm like, what more day it is?
And I'm going back? Oh God sucks than that. Other
than that, this weekend between the fan went out to
see a little movie uh called Leelo and Stitch Live
(03:30):
action version, and well, first, I will do you always
do I do my movie theater review. First I went
to you speak called movie come Back in the Day,
and that was called Cinemak Egyptian uh in Ronald Mills.
I did not know that that particular in my location
has pizza and pizza. Now that maybe my my future
(03:50):
go to location. That's for that fact that pizza Hut pizza.
When it comes to my go to Chane Pizza Bea
have the breadsticks too. I love the bird sticks of
pizza Dela there delicacy. So h We took Leah and
Cara to the movie. It was Kara's second movie, but
the first one. He was kind of out of it
because she had just got shots. Like the day before
(04:12):
she had a little fever. She wasn't sick, she was
just shots making sleepy, you know whatever. This one she
was all the way live. I realized while watching the
movie called Eela one stitch and I have a stitch
on my own. Because she would not sit still, she
would not stop screaming. She I mean, she's she was.
She was screaming reacting to the movie because it was funny,
(04:32):
but it was still like we don't scream in movies.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Like that. Can you please bring it up a little embarrassing?
Good together, get together.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
At one point, Alicia gave me her phone to give her.
She loves watching a wicket on her phone. I'm like,
we are not giving her a movie to watching the movie.
Couldn't sit here and figure it out. So eventually I
actually set her on like the trade table, kind of
like My Man run Away, so she couldn't move and
she got something to the movie, and towards the back
(05:01):
corner of it, she fell asleep.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Yea, like simba her to watch the movie. You know
what I did was.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Similar, but she loved it when she saw it. Remember
any watch watch it again and takes a much about
watching more like more Leo. On the other hand, you
thought she was watching like wedding Crashers or old school.
She was laughing so hard.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Yeah, it was her first time watching. Did she watch
the animated one or no?
Speaker 2 (05:28):
She loves the animated one, so I thought she was
gonna be one of the.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Oh yeah, because she has all the dolls and everything.
That's right.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, just gonna be a little snobby because this is
this is her first I've seen the regular When I'm
going to live action one experience.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
She loved it.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
She thought it was the greatest thing. She merely wanted
to go to Target to get the stitch doll. I'm like,
you have seven stitches in your room right now?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Did you get a popcorn bucket? Because that popcorn? But
it looks pretty cute, the stitch one, you know.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
You know, the thing like popcorn bucket. This movie made
almost onnre million dollars this weekend. They were all gone.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
That's our luck with popcorn buckets.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yes, have some funderballs ones left, though. I guess I
got one of those in.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
After Like, I'm okay, okay past that one though.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
That was two weeks ago. Man, you know, but I
liked it. At least you liked it. The whole family
liked it. I would give it. As far as the
live actions go, I think this was like eight.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Actually, so one of my favorite one.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeah, what would be your top live action one? Where
would this compare to it?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
I think a Ladd is my favorite? Probably Aladdin, And
I'm one of the few people who like beating the beats. Actually,
see I don't.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Remember Beauty in the Beast. I know I watched.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
I think it was that pandemic and I just didn't
want I didn't pay attention twenty seventeen.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah, let me see, two years two years before it
live action twenty seventeen. So I don't know why. I
just didn't. Oh you know why because pre Disney Plus,
so your boy didn't watch it. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
And also that was like right after Rogue One.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Dude, and I have priorities then at that time. Oh yeah,
I would.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I would put this one right behind I loved Uncle Book,
I love the Latin Beating the Beast. It's probably right
ahead of Beauty the Bees. Actually for me personally.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Where would the Ring with Lion King? That's a good
kind of comparison to a degree.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Well, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Because Lion King it's basically the same movie, but the
animals don't smile move there anyway. I want Lion King. Well,
I feel like it was more of an experiment, like
this is what we can really do if we wanted to,
but we just don't do it.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
I put that like more in the experimental realm of
what movies could be if you wanted to do. I
don't really write that as a movie, but but yeah,
I'll put it a strong number three, but number four
behind those three. I will say the discourse of the
movie afterwards, people are spoiler alert. I don't know if
have you seen it yet.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
I have not, but I mean if you've seen the
basically Low and Stitch, you kind of know this one
goes to to agree.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
They changed it a little bit and at the end
of the movie, instead of the aliens all the aliens
and cobra bubbles and on the living the heavily happy
ever after, they changed it to first off Stitches creators
stays the villain the entire time instead of kind of yeah,
and then her sister ends up going to college basically
and leader lives with a family member because Ohanna means family.
(08:11):
They were all there Ohana, so even though she's with them,
they're so family and people are really upset about that.
But in the movie, in the post credit scene, they
set something up where he's trying to catch this with
a portal gun. Makes you a portal gun that opens
a portal between wherever you want to be and where
you want to go, and not he had one, so
you can see leloand anywhere anytime you want.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
To do so they do they leave it up for
do you think they'll do the Stitch call or whatever
they could.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Because there's a part in the movie where Jamba cut
Stitch and he's talking about how he went wrong and
he shows a few other experiments.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Okay, okay, so I feel like they could do to
get the hand? Do we get the sandwich guy? Has
he shown off? For a degree?
Speaker 2 (08:49):
It wasn't, but we didn't see Angel. We didn't see Leroy,
but we didn see Angel. So I'm like, we can
do something else because very interesting, but I don't know. Yeah,
I liked it, of course confuses me. Well.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
And then one more question, is Gantu in it or not?
Because I know there's been a whole confusion of like
they've teased that he isn't.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
They've said he isn't, but people are like, no, he's
going to mean. I didn't see him in it, So
maybe that's a sequel they do. Maybe, yeah, maybe.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
He'll be in a sequel, because I mean, in the
beginning scene with all the other alies could have been
in there, I wasn't looking for him one really cool
easter egg. I don't know. This is me being a
cultural appropriative and not knowing all of it. The history
about it, but not his boyfriend. I can't remember her name.
His name man right now, but he wore official just
(09:36):
like Maui's. That's kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I don't know that means that Easter, probably probably because
I think it's very Molanna. And obviously this is Hawaii,
but Mohana is Polynesia, Polynesian islands, so very not the
same but same region of the world.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah, there wasn't a rumor a long time ago that
the fish that lead those feeds and beginning Leagal of
the States is actually is Maui transformed.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
That's a little bit of stretch, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
We really enjoyed the movie. After the movie went to
Cracker Barrel, and I love Cracker Barrel because I's had
a family of four for fifty dollars. It was well
Cracker Barrel. Never Cracker Barrel was kind of like kind
of like Chick fil a or.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
I think everyone who watches US knows with Cracker barrows.
I don't think you have to play with Cracker bro.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
But also the consistency, like you never really get a
bad meal. We go to crack and barrel, it always
tastes pretty good.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
You know what I mean, how many souvenirs did your
kids buy at the little gift shop on the way.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
I want everything.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I'm just like, like, again, we just got back from
Disney two months ago.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
You have all the things, but we don't have this one. Gammit,
I want candy. We just had dessert, a litteral bucket
of bubble gum in the pantry and all not getting any.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Can but this one special. It's country.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
That's my weekend, but how about you. Yeah, so it
was a pretty chill weekend, which is down.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
We did finish Battle Camp, which, if in case you
haven't don't remember, that was the Netflix sort.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Of competition show.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Whereas all the various Netflix shows like Too Hot to Handle,
The Circle, the Squid Game, live action reality show, they
all compete. It's very Netflix's version of the challenge More.
I went in not wanting to watch it at all,
but by the end of it like, oh, it's pretty good.
It is a good season one, good bones show. That
season two they're going to know what they're going to do,
(11:31):
make the challenges a little more difficult because they kind
of have to balance the line of like I think
it was like three like forty five, like forty in
up year olds and everyone else is you know, like
thirty five and younger. So you have to kind of
balance the challenge of like what the difficulty is, but
pretty good. If you're looking for a new just trash
reality show to watch, it's a good one. And then
(11:52):
if you like Shiba, yeah trash because like, we really
only knew Shabam from the season one. He was the
guy who's very like just didn't know how to interact
with anything, and he was great, and I think they
kept him around till the finale because they knew people
really like rallied behind him.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
I guess. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Besides that, you boy did finish Arcane season two. Finally
watched the final episode. That final episode is a lot
of arc for Arcane season two because in case you
forgot Arcane season two, I think was season one released
him in batches of three episodes, yeah, throughout a whole month,
and the back three is the ones I didn't finish.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
The first two of those.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
That set of three really good, really good, moving the
pot forward. Third episode, we gotta finish this up, but
we got to do all out war and it was
on the levels of some Lord of the rings dish
of like.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Battle of Helm's Deep.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
For those first like thirty minutes, I will say, if
you are trying to watch the show, it is a
pay attention show.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Because Alavia, I was like, I don't know what this means,
and I'm kind of.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Confused a little bit, but I was there for the ride,
and uh, I did look up the characters that are
from the show there in the game, and I'm like,
that's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
But I'm still not playing the game.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
I think to Dumb is this weekend, so maybe get
some more up.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah, to Dumb is this week, so we'll probably talk
about that on Thursday. Of just we'll probably get all
the trailers, like the Avatar season two trailer because season
three is already about to start production. One Piece will
get trailer, and Squid Games will get trailer, and.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Homeful and Stranger Things. Please, but I love God, give
us a trader thing.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
I've been getting spammed on my TikTok about the Stranger
Things playing on it on Broadway.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
If you're watching Netflix right now and you have the commercials, Unfortunately,
like we do, every commercial is about that damn Broadway play.
And as we're watching battle Camp in our game. I'm like, please,
not the Stranger Things play. I know about it enough,
I get it.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Please I'll go maybe stop.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I told my I think it's a thing of them
trying to just beat you over the head with it
that you finally cave in because I'm like, hey, if
we do want to go Broadway.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Maybe we should go to go see the Stranger Things play.
It feels like the Hulk when they beat up.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
LOOKI you're gonna.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Watch Stockholm Syndrome every time Netflix has me and just
saying you will watch it.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
And then I.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Didn't plan any god of more Ragrock this weekend because
your boy was in the trenches for Star Wars Battlefront
two this weekend, and my god, we showed up this weekend, y'all.
We crashed the damn servers on Saturday and it was glorious, Kevin,
it was glorious ride.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
And I saw a lot of tiktoks about that too.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
People were just going So.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
In case you didn't miss it, the hype is everyone's
trying to get Star Wars bott Front three to happen,
and this weekend everyone's rallying to play the game.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
It's on sale.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
I think it's still on sale. So your boy bought this,
Like the Celebration edition was like eight bucks. It was
it was perfect, and you know something, something magical is
happening because you know it's one.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
It's till thirty five. You're like, should I go to bed?
Speaker 1 (14:57):
I'm with my brother and his friends, like we should
do one more, and Glorious Low and Behold Fate said no, soldiers,
you can go to bed now because the servers crashed
and didn't come back up for another hour, so it
was time to go bed.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
I'm tired, balls, you can go sleep now, you can rest.
But yeah, Balfront two still kind of holds up.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
I mean, it is a twenty seventeen game in twenty
twenty five, so there's some things that, you know, just
modernization of games.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
But man, we're played a lot of modes.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
One of them is like supremacy, where you pretty much
are fighting one another. Then you go up to a
ship and if you don't win in the ship, you
go back down and restarting. It could last three hours
and I've been in that. It's wild and you're just like,
we got to do it, and it's just funny. How like,
oh what side.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Am I going to be on? You don't know until
like it loads you in, Like, oh, am I gonna
be Cone Troopers?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Am I gonna be the Clankas? And I dang it
where the Clanka is? That's okay, That's one of the
reasons why I could get mad at the game. Now
at three one, I kept being enjoys.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
I don't want to be a Droy Big Cone Truber now.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
I find if it's any other era but that era,
I have to be a Clone Trooper.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Sorry, it would be but yeah, it was fun.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
We'll see if the hype builds up then anything, it
really will be the test of time on that. But
the momentum is there, and you know, Summer Game Fest
is around the corner. All I need is a logo.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
In the battleront Also, yesterday was the forty eighth anniversary
I think of Star Wars. Yeah, so I watched a
New Hope and the back back to back yesterday.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Boy uh, Now we get to fifty, that might be
the year we go to Star Wars celebration.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Kevin, maybe well maybe, well I did to text you yesterday.
I didn't realize that watching a New Hope Staffs like, wow,
let you sacrifice the whole planet for the rebellion.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
That's cold, likes what you gotta do? What are you
willing to sacrifice? Kevin? She said, her own planet and
her dad. I hate my dad. I hate Bill Ogan.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
He's bad.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
It's been bratt now.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
And it started going and I was like, I wonder
if maybe that was the whole plan. They sticularly evacuated
holder on. Nobody knew about it going somewhere else, Nobody Gina.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
Krano's character wouldn't exist, even though she doesn't exist anymore.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
And then also the line after that is a million
what's the crowd acade something? Sound makes no sense to
do that.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
So because they were off planning, ah, just to pretend
to kids any Jedi were around.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
And then real quick, last episode, I sent you and
your brother this on on technology the other day, Uh,
star Wars a on TikTok is getting crazy. Have you
watch any of those videos?
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I have seen a lot of those type of videos,
and it's just who, like, Hey, it's fun when you're
making a little like baby podcast or whatever, but that's
when you do all these whole things like I don't
like it.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
I'm scared for for like you know, copyrighted IP because like,
at some point so much can be like know what
aim and a Vengers movie?
Speaker 3 (17:57):
I want to write it, well, that.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Will be most likely in the near future. With Ai,
there will be a crackdown on if it's an AI
version of Yoda. Sorry, Yoda's likeness is licensed by Disney.
So taken down, truck down just like a lot how
a lot of the trailers we watch Sony looking at you,
most of them are taken down because Sony puts little
tags in them of like oh they're Spider Man.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Taken down cause I.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Feel like it's gonna be the diversion of fan fiction,
but there's nothing to write it and post it, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (18:26):
But I mean that's like look at the Fourth Wing.
Nothing like Fourth Wing is just the book right now,
but like the fandom of that rallies over the TikTok
Ai videos of like who these characters could look like?
Speaker 3 (18:39):
But are not.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Gonna be what they look like on the show? Most
likely to keep it off of that. If you're scoring
on TikTok it's it's amazing. It's so many stories which
on Cannon they aren't real. They aren't sectioned by anybody
in lucasfilm, but I'm like, wow, that would be kind
of cool.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Maybe what a time? What a time we live in,
said Kevin. We're really doing it.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
But something, Kevin, we're really doing right now because it's
time for the new.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Dam. First things first.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
We have to talk about the Last of Us season
two finale.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
So let's break it down. Hell yeah, we did it.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
We made it to season two's finale, and it's very
predictable where it ended. It is weird having shows end
during like a holiday weekend. Like I get like, maybe
premiering like Stranger Things. What that final part came out
during fourth of July forever ago. It was glorious.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
That's what everyone said, We're not going out, We're watching
Stranger Things. But we did.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
That's that is what we did. A lot of people didn't,
but that's what we chose to do instead. But it
is wild to have a show end during that and like, oh,
I was like, I can watch it live if I
went in too. For so I'm not working now, I'm
just gonna watch in the winning Okay.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Tomorrow's problem. That is true, that is true.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
But yeah, the Last of Us season two is officially over.
We know season three is being greg lit. We don't
know know a lot stuff is happening, but uh I
was but spoilers in case you haven't played the game
or the show. I just took a screenshot that was weird.
Oh yes, just did something weird. Okay, yeah, okay, go COSEU,
(20:30):
thank you.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
But this ends pretty much.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
From what I've did because I've never played I haven't
played the game yet, kind of expected as what the
show ends and where we all kind of expected season
two to end with Ellie confronting Abby at the end
of Seattle Day three and then hey, we're gonna go
back and do Abby's perspective, which is what most likely
season three will be mostly about.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
In see how do how do?
Speaker 2 (20:58):
How people will react to Abby being like a main character?
That was the thing people hated about the second game.
But it's like this, I think Last of Us more
from a game about the end of the world in
Zombies to a complete, like story driven where like, of
course you shot some guns and people, but you have
a different story more than anything else.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, And it's funny because More I was watching the
finale this morning, and More is just chilling on the
couch and she doesn't. I mean she knows because we've
talked about podcasts and she hears it and I had
explained her everything.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
She's like, you know, I'm kind of.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Tired of the walking Apockelar zombies, and like that's the
premise of this show.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
But that's more of a background more than anything. This
is the character dynamics we're really going for.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
It's like, oh, come, clicker boom.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Anyway, here's how I feel.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, the clickers during it for like maybe five minutes
and the whole season more than anything, but this episode
really being felt felt like moving the plot forward, at
least to a point where we can pause on Ellie
and go to Abby. Obviously Ellie interacting with the Seraphites
and seeing kind of background stories that you don't really
see in the game but have been shown in the show.
(22:06):
It was a cool TikTok that went viral of in
the game. Ellie comes upon like a swat vehicle that
everyone's burned inside, and that was like the first scene
Jeffrey Wright's character gets introduced.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
In the show. Like, oh, that's cool.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
They like connected the dots there to because Neil Druckpins,
you know, the executive producer on the show. But really
it is cool just from someone who lived in Seattle.
Also seeing some of these Seattle landmarks like the aquarium
and the marina and then the big Ferris wheeled thing,
the wheel whatever you want to call it. So that's
a little fun too. At the same time, this episode
(22:42):
really showing Ellie descended the madness. I know a lot
of people have a problem with Bellow Ramsey and just
believing their portrayal of this character, but I think they
do a really good job. I think it just we're
at the point right now where Ellie the character.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Is about to descend it a man.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
And it's even more just because certain character died at
the end of this episode and then they cut the
black and then went back to Abby day one.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
So it was cool.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I think some of the blowbacks to the show is
giving is because.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Abby isn't acting like the video game character.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Well not even that how I felt while I was
playing Abby as video.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
You know what I mean? Oh Ellie, you mean Elliet. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
I feel like the way the way somebody mfl while
controlling Abby Ellie during this moment is not how they're
seeing that portrayed on screen, so they're kind of upset
about it. But I'm like, well, you got to train
your mind differently. It's not video gaming anymore. It's a
TV show, so you gotta do it a different way.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
I think.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Also a lot of the difference is for a video game,
you have to in between cut scenes, you're patting out
with traversal, with combat, more clickers obviously in the video
game and stuff like that, so things can see inventory,
the character can grow through indirect means, whereas this is
it's all cut scenes, so like character moments have to
happen left and right. I will say where where it
(24:05):
will be interesting next season if we are starting with
Abby's perspective of how long they do the whole season
of that, because a lot of it is what There
was an interview Creg Mason did earlier this week of like, yeah,
like this show, we're thinking it could go three more seasons,
and like, oh, three more seasons, like how we need
to like the video game, Like was that this is
(24:27):
the video game that will be spread over into three seasons.
It's kind of the opposite of I know two is
more dense, but how season one was a pretty much
one for one of the first video game, and the
season part two is being diverse, divvied up into three
potential seasons.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
That's one of the reasons why I think one of
the smartest things Fallout did was like, yeah, on game
tied and the Fallout universe.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
But doing his own thing. Yeah, it was doing its
own thing.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
We're still obeying all the rules of that universe, and
we're in the universe, and.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
And we're going to New Vegas this season, but it's
after the game, you know exactly.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
I think that's one of the smartest things you did,
because I mean, I don't say that they're they're hands are
I would have to do. But people felt like, I'm
sure it'll be the same way with God of Warning
that comes out. There's going to be a way that
a Treys acts that, Like, I don't like that, that's
what we did in the game, but this makes more
sense for what we're doing on a TV show or
you know, a prime TV tone like that than just
playing the video game.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Yeah, So obviously I'm assuming Abby's perspective would be season two,
and then you'll get a little bit of Ellie in
there with Bella Ramsey and then season four would be then.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
The fallout of all that stuff. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
We'll see, and I don't know if people pay attention
as much as they will now and I'll see. It
depends also with if there's a third third.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Game ever being made. Guys.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
I know Intergalactic is the next one from a Naughty
Dog being made, but.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Well that soon, Sony, I needed a thing.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
So but will it would be sort of apathy for
the Last of Us as a franchise because the more
focused now is the future space game.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
That's true, that's a good point.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
But still, Sony, any state of Play, any Wolverine and
any Charted too.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
The movie's supposed to be happening at some point too,
like it was. I think it was filming. I think,
let me check, And I still haven't watched the first one.
It's on Netflix. I still have maybe not maybe that
was an It is in development. I don't know how
far long it is is in development.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
But yeah, I mean, that's a franchise. I feel like
you can, if you really wanted to try hard, you
can make you can make five movies about it, because
it's just Indiana Jones, just differently.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Yeah, you know what I mean, but overall, last of
US season two I was good. I think the first
season I think we kind of said reasoning one for one,
it was the whole story. Season two, I mean, even
with the game was divisive. I think this is device
is too. I liked it still because this is me
watching this story unfold for the first time, and I'm
gonna play the game probably before the next season comes out.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
I think that's the other problem when in season three
gonna come out like better be next year.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
So yeah, that's that's the thing about these Like you know,
prime television show is that. Yeah, it's Ober eight episode.
See you in two or three years, Like, come on, man,
like I want to watch it now. I got other
shows to watch. I'm happy the Daredevil literally next year
and then the year after that, year after that, like
the Actually, make sure this comes on yearly, not just
(27:16):
eight weeks in a span of dust and then we
don't see you.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Why do we like Abbot Elementary because it comes out
every year twenty episodes exactly exactly.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
But Kevin to go from one video game.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Franchise to multiple other ones, it's time to talk about
the Street Fighter movie actually happening.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Duke Dukin because.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Legendari's Pictures apparently is considering four big names as it
kicks off the search for cast where its Street Fighter
movie actors. Andrew Kogi from Bullet Trained. He was the
Sun in Bullet Train. Bullet That's a good movie. That's
not on Netflix too. Jason Momoa no U sent to
now and w W Superstar Our tribal Chief Roman Reigns
(28:07):
are all in dogs to join the movie.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
According to Deadline, and it looks like Roman rains and
talks to play a Kuma, which is interesting. A Kuma.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
It's kind of like I believe if I have my
sweet Fighter law correct, like it's like the ultimate rival
to Ryu and Ken.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Sure, I could not tell you any of the story
street Fighter of the game, so I don't know what
about checking.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
I didn't know about Street Fighter, but I believe he's
like the ultimate rival to them, actually, I said. In
the storyline he is a younger brother of Go Ken
and Ryan and Ken's master. After beating his brother, Kuma
gained interest in several fighters, most nobly Ryu, as he
senses that the protagonist has similar power known as this
whatever the hot Duken power basically, so yeah, it's interesting
(28:55):
that they're going there with it because in a lot
of Street Fighters stuff. I member to watch a cartoon
as a kid, it's always Bisons, like like the main villain.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
It's never anybody else.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
So, I mean, look at the original movie, Bison was
the main villain because he's trying to go over the world.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yeah, I mean, and that was the original.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
And then there was that like weird spin off movie
that happened like the two thousands, right, it was like
a spin off.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
Oh yeah, it was because it was the Legend of Lee,
That's what it was.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yeah, And I was like, I don't is this cannon
to those other movies or what are we doing here?
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Actually mc nine wind was Chun Lee in the original
Street Fighting in the nineties.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
I forgot man. My Rol Clark Duncan was in all right,
good for him, he was Wow. Yeah, she was sheet
fighted legend.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Charlie came out in two thousand and nine. Fun fact,
Chris and Krook was Chann Lee. Uh you know her
from Small Na from Small Villain. Yeah, and she almost
was in the cult, but she didn't, Thank God to
that phone call. Neo McDonough was m Bison. Sure, Chris
Klar from American Pie was Charlie Nash. Michael Clark Duncan
(30:03):
was ball Rock and sure mm hmm, sure, oh I
forgot about this taboo from The Black Eyed Peas was Vega.
I forgot, oh, yes, saying that, oh my gosh, uh
and that was how did this movie end?
Speaker 3 (30:21):
That movie ended? Uh? Oh that they have to recruit
someone named Ru to help fight for the cause, Like.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Okay, we know where we're going now. Yeah, I mean
in the first one, Rodyu and Ken were just like
grifters said that they were trying to like steal something
like what the heck is this movie is?
Speaker 3 (30:39):
No for you?
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Was a karate master that is supposed to be.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah, but if anything, we I mean, we're not very
versed in the Street Fighter. I think I'm more versed
in Mortal Kombat than Street Fighter. I think legendary actually using.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
Legendary doing Mortal Kombat.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Mortal Kombat, I think I think right moret Kombat to
is legendary.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
I believe, uh twenty let's see, Mortal Kombat was come on,
give you the give the studio Warner Brothers.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
So I mean to say, same same thing things sort
they have a partnership.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Yeah, New Line Cinema, Sure, we'll go with that, but
I think it's smart go over the same vibe.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Obviously. Street Fighter is a little more fun two degree
as far as I like.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Perspective wise, the Mortal Kombat is. And if anything those
casting roles besides Andrew cog uh, you will get a
fun dynamic of characters. I feel like if any of
those casting rumors are true at all.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yeah, And I don't think the what's the word the
broomstick to clear for me be a good uh video
fighting video game and movie adaptations isn't a hard a
high thing to clear because still the best one of
all time still is just the first Mortal Kombat. And
even watching the back back back, it's like, okay, then
the second one was terrible.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
And then the Monor one, the Mono one was okay,
and we're hoping the second ones.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Okay, yeah, because it was.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
It was just weird, like because the main character wasn't
even character in Scorpion's nephew or great ancestor or something
like that.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Great to send it up Scorpion, then he had like
leather skin.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Oh okay, sure, are you reptile? No?
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Okay, yeah, So, I mean like they don't have to
do much to be considered in the same league as
those movies, and so we'll see that a lot of
interesting characters. We got dall Zem You Got a camis
another one I do.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
I do think though with it, And it's kind of
with the Mortal Kombat movie the same degree. You gotta
pick the right ones to start the franchise off. If
you're starting with too much of a deep cut, uh,
it won't work. I mean, obviously the Moral Combat movie,
like you just said, Johnny Cage was the teas and
obviously we know it's getting karl orburn in the second one,
So you gotta figure out what's the right character to tease.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
Is it an m Bison you tease that for the
second one?
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Kind of how a Shao Khan is supposed to be
the villain in the second one.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
So yeah, that's why.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
I really I don't think the fan base is as
high because I think when you talk about the three
main fighting games, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tech in Techan
is the third.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
You know, I love Tech is my favorite.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
I don't think I don't know if the fan base
is as high as Street Fighter Mortal Kombat because they
existed before three D consoles the story of tech and
I think it's translates easier to a movie because it's
just family drama.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Yeah. Well, and I think that's the thing.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
If and there's Virtual Fighter, don't forget Virtual Fighter. Kevin
Fighter is uneasily hard. That's why I know why he
talks about it. It's too hard, if anything, Probably expect
shows or movies on those two in the near future.
But speaking of other adaptations we learned about over the weekend,
we now know a live action elden Ring movie is
(33:48):
on the way.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
Those rumors were true.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
It's by A twenty four and the Goat Alex Garland,
you know, Ax Machina, silvil War.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
He's going to be directing the movie.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Baby, I think, just silently maybe maybe a really good
move because A twenty four is really good at these
low budget horror movies hm, and elden Ring is basically
high fantasy plus horror.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
This could be a.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Hold in one.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
And then I even realized it. This gives me like
another Minecraft, or even like a Dungeon Dragon's done right.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Yeah, and so obviously A twenty four we've kind of
has been on the come up.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
A lot really the past few years, obviously on gems.
I'll just look.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
I just googled a twenty four movies off the top
of the dome. You got Lady Bird, Hereditary, Midsummer ex Mocking, The.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Witch, Civil War.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
The Iron Claw is an A twenty four movie, spring
Breakers is an A twenty four movie. Obviously Moonlight, Everything Everywhere,
all at once. Minari those are obviously the Room, It's big,
Oscar ones H and probably the one that's gonna be
closest to the tone of.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
An Elden Ring movie, The Green Knight.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
So I think, if you, if you I want to
see what that movie could look like, watch that visual wise, And.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
I know Nintendo's like, why are we doing this?
Speaker 1 (35:07):
I think why not? I mean, el Ring was one
of the most I mean still it is one of
the most popular games now on consoles. It won a
ton of awards. It was like two years ago when
it came out. Do it and see if we can
get into these sort of high higher fantasy type ips
and see if they translate to movies and shows.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
And I've never really.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Played on the Ring because I don't like banging my
head against some cement wall.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
How many times is the character going to die in
this movie? Is what I want to know that?
Speaker 2 (35:38):
And also I wonder like the casting of this movie
because some of the busses in the Edlal ring are
just like crazy character designs and how do you how
do you translate that on screen? Like that's only be
like two or three And.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Then yeah, like I do you do animated? Is it
live action? Is it a blend of that? That's the
whole thing too.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Yeah, like I would love if they did it kind
of like like a Spider Man be on Spider Verse,
that type of thing. It's it looks real enough, but
you know what's animated.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
I mean, Polar Express animation is was what you want?
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Yes, like that movie, I swear I love that was weird.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
I know it was weird, but we.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
Can't hear to beout our crime.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
It's dated animation, but it's still good. Yeah, it's interesting,
I mean, is the cool thing to think of?
Speaker 1 (36:21):
And obviously the right directors attached. Remember we're also at
one point I supposed to be getting a metal Gear
solid movie, and I think Oscar Isaac was attached at
one point to be Solid Snake I think I see that.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
Actually I never really played a look a Solid game
from Getting the End.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
But that would make people buy those games.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
And guess what's coming out this year Meadow Gear, Solid three, Delta,
Snaky or whatever, Melted whatever.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
I feel like that's the thing that should happen really soon.
And also I feel like, also I'm just thinking the
Time of Head is elder ring like the newest franchise
to get the film Habitation, because usually they gotta pick
like more I want to say, legendary franchise like Mario's Fallout.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (37:02):
Lest of Us? I guess it's probably probably another one
that's newer, but uh, I can't think of anything else
that the mass effects in development forever.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Well, so this is actually the good. I found a list.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Uh here's a list of current video game adaptations in
the works. Outlast is apparently, uh in the works at Lionsgate.
So at Last being that survival horror you have the
the journalists in the in the psychord. Hell Divers is
in the works at Columbia Pictures, So that's that's a
more recent one. I know Hell Divers two is a sequel.
(37:34):
Whatever sounds awesome. More just imagine The Mortuary Assistant, which
you probably don't know that one, but is an indie
horror game that's oh okay. Apparently has a director, Willa
Holland from Arrow, who will potentially be the lead character.
So this seemed like this might be more of an
indie film where it is you're like a coronary or
(37:58):
a corner and all of a sudden, the bodies are
possessed and all this.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
It's interesting. I've seen the clips of the game. It's scary.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
It's one of those games where you see the guys
people reacting and it's interesting. Watchdogs is still in development
at one point.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
Who knows, Remember there's did a Division movie happen or
that could cancel?
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Also say that supposed have been Assassin's Screez series on Netflix.
What's supposed to deal with that one too?
Speaker 3 (38:21):
That is true too. Obviously.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
Sonics Happen Days Gone is in the works. Def Stranding
is supposed to be in the works of a movie adaptation, so.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
It's Dead by Daylight.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Exit eight, which is another indie game where you're stuck
in this like metro hallway and things get freakier. Obviously,
Legend of Zelda that's our big, next big Nintendo adaptation.
We have another resident evil in the works. Let's see
split Fiction that that actually is the most recent one,
actually Kevin split Fiction. So it came out and they said, yep,
we're working on the script already with Sidney Sweeney in it.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
And also according to this just thread here inside it
says that Netflix Assassin Screezerie is on Hole but it
making the movie instead, so never whatever.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
That's a fast one. Uh. Netflix did say they're making
a BioShock movie. Oh yeah, Uh, just causes in the works.
And this is interesting.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Uh the movie picked screen Gems has acquired the acquired
the movie rights back.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
In twenty nineteen to the Just Dance franchise. You know what,
it could work, It could work, could working works. It's
just dance.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Now, there was a time when there was dance movies
that everywhere it was a You Got Served and the
one Jessica Alba and then one of the late Julia
styles was that called Staved Last Dance. So, I mean
there was a time when it were dance movies every
other week.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
It felt like, I mean, I'm out of that. I'm
not out.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
A pac Man movie is still in the works potentially
since twenty twenty two. I don't know how that works
were Still we're still waiting on a damn sequel Detective Pikatch.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
You we know what we wanted.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
I still don't give it to you will like this.
Poppies play Time is in production for the TV show
movie Portal The Rabbits. Rabbits I think has been a thing,
so that's nothing new. Silent Hill a new version of that,
Saints Row at one point, Seafu Slime Rancher, it goes on.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
There's a lot of stray segu could.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Be a really cool movie actually, mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Bendy and the Ink Machine, that's another one. Oh yeah,
Oh and then Horizon zero don and got a work
in mass effect.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yeah, the best effects effects in developments is two thousand
and seven.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
So obviously just because of Gotten Now, it doesn't mean
it's exactly gonna happen, but yes.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
It's cool to see. Hey, maybe they'll do it.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
I have faith and God of War because the guy
that's show running is like an active show runner. He
actually he's the head of the show, always talking about
for all mankind and he did start, so I'm hoping
that he actually is actually working on the show.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Baby give it, give it, give it, Give it to us,
is what Kevin wants. Please, He'll watch it so much
and he'll watch as many times as it needs to.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
And it's please use Bear McCurry's song too. Its opening themes.
That's all one.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
But Kevin, we're not done talking about movies, because while
these movies might be in the works, there's a certain
company of movies that we were excited we're.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
About a year away from getting.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Well, it's gonna be about a year and a half
from now, Kevin, because what got announced over the weekend.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Over the weekend they did announce it.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Actually fought back against this because the one of my
friend coworkers texted me and he texted me from like
one of those Marvel threads on Twitter, like, I don't
believe this yet, because these people just post stuff sometimes
and then actually started happening.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
I take it back, you were right this time.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
They announced that Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars has
been delayed to December twenty twenty sixth and December twenty
twenty seven consecutively, so we won't be getting them in
the in the summer next year.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
We're getting in for Christmas. Basically.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
Yeah, So apparently it's a whole reshuffle of Disney and
all its titles. I was some entitled movies got moved around,
which they get moved around all the time. Uh, but
these movies moving now mean that Spider Man Brand New
Day will open before Avengers dooms Day, and it technically
will be as of right now we know about wonder Man,
(42:16):
it will be the next MCU movie, uh, the only
one until we get Avengers Doomsday.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
And you know what, I'm okay, there's this old thing
I said that absence makes the heart grow fonder. So
there's a lot of people who you know, bashed Marbles
because the amount of suffing was putting out. And Kevin said, hey,
we're gonna pull back a little bit, and uh, Bill,
I can't remember his name right now. He Disney said
(42:46):
the same thing. We're gonna pull back releases by Biker
and so what we look like this out next time
we again is iron Heart. Next month, iron Hart, we
will have Fantastic Four, then wonder Man and Number one
until Spider Max Spider Man and then begin another one
for Christmas. I'm not too upset about it. You know
(43:07):
what I mean, because I feel like if Spider Man
that came out when it came out, it would it
had been a Ben Jim. They would have kind of
been been a flash in the pants. Never want Spider Man. Yeah,
this way Spider Man can have his moment in the
sun to get you hyped for seeking six months later
Andom day.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Well that's and that's the interesting thing is does Spider
Man isn't now connected to all these things now or not?
Speaker 3 (43:29):
Because if it is.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
Originally, if it's in the middle, you're like, all right,
they're doing a Black Panther or a Captain Marvel rowt War.
It's gonna tee up whatever is coming out in the
Secret Wars.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
Still hope that Spider Man's like grounded story about Spider
Man because his last three movies have had a multiverse. Multiverse, yeah,
not even multiverse, just like a first one had Iron
Man cyd character, second one was more about iron Man,
second one dying, and we had we got a mysterio
and in a third one of Doctor Strange. So this
one you can just have Spider Man be the main character.
(44:02):
Then suddenly because remember now a City sink maybe playing
Spider Man's daughter from Toby McGuire's Time, which I hope
it's not true.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
I heard Mary Jane Watts. I heard Mary Jane Watson's
in this movie, Like they better not. I don't care.
I am Jay's Inda damn.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
As well as he's playing Mayday Parker, which is Spider
Man's daughter in the comics. It's a real convolute I
hope it's not true. If it's fine, I mean, I'm
sure if it's true, ton't figure out a way. But
I'm just like, that's a lot for a lot of
the Laman people hit around. But I'm still I hope
it's a Spider Man centric story, not about another Avenger
or another higher class. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
I think at the end of Spider Man you can
do that. But I think you're right, doesn't the whole
movie doesn't need to be about it, like it's the
movies done, and it is usually every Spider Man movie,
we have like a little bit of a come down moment,
like of for five minutes or something, and then that's
where you set up whatever.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
You know.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
I guess now Doomsday will be.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
Yeah, I mean we already had the longest I'm crediting
every with on the Bolts can do that again with
Spider Man five, been an incredit scene, set up Doomsday
and then be like see in See in December. I
will say it is interesting because obviously we knew as
of right now everything will change, because we got a
year from now then that we had Avengers Doom, Avengers Doomsday.
(45:15):
At one point we had the Mandalorian, Grogu and Grandfa
thought of six all coming out May twenty six. I
think we all kind of knew something was gonna move
in May. But it is interesting that Marvel is giving
up May because I feel to me, at least Marvel,
you think May, there's a Marvel movie. Star Wars kind
of went for the vibes of Now we're to December
(45:36):
movie release dates. But it's interesting Mando and Grogu's staying
in May. They'll probably push it.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
Up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
Probably I would have released Mando and Grogu on May fourth,
if it's or whatever date that is.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (45:50):
Is this also? Actually it helps with Disney in general
because the Avatar movies makes it takes so long to
put out that we get Fire and Ash this year supposedly,
then the next one not till twenty twenty nine, so
now they still kind of own that Christmas date that
they kind of comet, which was Star Wars for with
the new cools for a while now to put Avengers there,
and it's just basically kind of like another cash graph
(46:11):
for them because people are going to be seeing this
movie all over Christmas Break all over the world, back
to back to back.
Speaker 3 (46:17):
It's good back to back to back to back to
back a bunch of times. Especially.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
I mean when you think about a lot of the
kids who are probably kids doing Avengers and Finny wore
an endgame and that may be adults, which is crazy.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
I think teenagers at least.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
Yeah, yeah, they can see as many time as they
want on Break, So I mean, I think this might
be a blessing in disguise. And also it's kind of
like a granted photto. They were like, you know what,
this online remote ain't really ready yet. Let's push it
back a year just to make sure everything's ready.
Speaker 3 (46:47):
Yeah, because people are still gonna see it.
Speaker 1 (46:49):
I just think it is interesting because I saw a
tweet the other day it was like, now that that
got pushed to December twenty twenty sixth.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
The Shrek sequel might be coming out in December twenty
twenty six as well.
Speaker 1 (47:00):
So it's interesting, just like we're in an era of
like no matter where you put something that is going
to be competing against something else. I have a feeling
everything else will move around that most likely probably in
November or be a February release, but.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
Yeah, I'm still excited. It's it's good.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
Who knows if this is how filming will work now,
if they're just going to start filming on the second
one immediately, but you know, Star Wars, you still got that,
so that's good because it's been a while. Today have
a Star Wars movie, so maybe that's what they're banking
on too, is you know, this is the first Star
Wars movie since right A Skywalker six years ago or
seven years ago by that time in twenty twenty six,
(47:37):
which is.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
Crazy, And I mean I was hoping maybe we will
see more Kamakonda isn't a month or two. Maybe we'll
see more other Disney releases be announced at that time,
mm hmm, hope hopefully that you know, we get I
don't know, a Frozen three announcement. Maybe we'll get something
to so long lines of that because like I said,
(47:58):
it opened up the calendar for a lot more things
besides just Avengers. People people will stay away from that
Avengers date. Basically that's that's Avengers date. It's far away
by that you can.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
Yes, so obviously time will tell with it coming.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
Also, you'll sell a bunch of stuff for Christmass, like
that movie comes out.
Speaker 3 (48:16):
The toys gonna be crazy.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
It'll be crazy, be Christ's name, there'll be so many
Christmas funk coasts. So we got that that's in the
near future. But uh, we're excited nonetheless, and it'll be
it'll be a good time.
Speaker 3 (48:26):
It'll be good.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
I mean, instead of rushing out to see Avengers at
the end of the school year, you can see it
comfortably during the dates of December twentieth to December thirty first,
with the fan, with the with the whole family.
Speaker 3 (48:37):
That's just like people in the family. Whole family, go
see it.
Speaker 2 (48:40):
Let the screening not be the same day as jingle Please,
I will have you know what's coming.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
I will. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to pick Doomsday.
I'm sorry. Jingle Ball Bye. Backer knows who you are.
That's what he wants to yours.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
You will watch everything and it will of everything about
your personal life.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
Oh well, but that does it for us on today's episode,
really just to get you all that nerdy news you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (49:10):
It's memor al day weekend, so not a lot of
news really, just more announcements more than anything. And the
last of Us happened obviously, But we'll be back.
Speaker 3 (49:17):
On Thursday, because I believe to Dumb takes place on
this Saturday.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
So we'll talk about the Dumb next Monday most likely,
but we'll be back on Thursday talking about that nerdy
news you need to know. Obviously, we're in a weird
little pocket right now because it is you know, Lelo
and Stitch. Mission Possible came out, and I think, what's
the next movie after that?
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Comes out?
Speaker 3 (49:40):
The movie? Next movie? Moving on? I think it was
super No, it wasn't you.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
Oh but john Wick Ballerina comes out the sixth, so
that's cool. You know, Well what the Predator animated movie
comes out the same day.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
Okay, okay, watch that, Kevin said, I'll watch it one day.
I don't need to watch that immediately.
Speaker 1 (50:04):
And then after that How To Train Your Dragon June thirteenth,
So we're we got some blockbusters. But now We're in
that weird little pocket area of like what news do
we talk about?
Speaker 2 (50:12):
And the dad movies. We have f one on June
twenty seven to two.
Speaker 3 (50:16):
So Kevin will be their day one getting the helmet
popcorn bucket.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
I am actually in the process of I'll talk to
my daughter into watching How To Thing Dragon, the original
one with me, so then we can go see.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
The real one and then you watch the second one
after when the second one gets announced exactly so with
all how To Change Good. But you can see everything
we talked about today so much more at Infinite Underscore
pods on the Instagram or the x going good it
to you.
Speaker 1 (50:43):

YouTube dot com slash Infinite Underscore pods as well. Have
your voice be heard be part of the chat when
we talk about certain things. Maybe it's last of us.
You no like it, you can say that, Maybe you
do like it, you can say that too. We had
that today on the show, which is wild.
Speaker 3 (50:58):
No, sir, I don't like it, not one minute. But
we will be back on Thursday.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
And as always, my name is Hoodie and I'm Kevin,
and you officially listened to this Monday episode what keV
crisis odd.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
Infinite hard can That's the way the news goes
