of weeks as we learn things just as well as
you do.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
We have a pure intention with our podcast. We didn't
get in this to make money. We just want to
hang out and talk about stuff. So now we can
figure out business things.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
And now I don't know crazy, I honestly don't know
where we're doing. But we got a jam back show
for you today because we're talking about the new looks
at the Harry Potter series. Yes, actual looks of what
these characters are gonna look like. Fun fact, not too
much different. We're gonna talk about Fantastic four yep, that
comes out next week. But we found out one character, well,
(01:21):
he didn't make the final cut. We gonna talk about
the new cast, actually the newly announced cast.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
For the Legend Zelda movie and end things off with
an oldie but a goodie, even though Kevin hates to
talk about it because he wants to just be over
the new trailer for Stranger Things to the final season.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
I don't want it to be over.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
I'm just like, I'm happy these kids because Movement in
lives kids.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
They're adults now, they're adults, not Kevin. But if you
want to see everyone we're gonna talk about, make sure
you keep it locked. Our social media's at infinite Underscore

other instructions to do from now on affiliate You can.

with me, but as right now, it's kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
We got new buttons you know, but.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
There's appreal wasn't Apparently we don't know where that is anyway,

a lot of things. A matter of fact, you can
go back and talk about to us, talk about the
announcement of Superman.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
They go all the way up to my review of
Superman last week.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Hell yeah, you can cover the whole game. Yeah, and
next week that's when I'll get the fire. They talk
about it. Kevin's got to go one more week without it.
Let me tell you, James gunn Kid, give me a
week brother before things already?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
How do your TikTok? Have you got any yet?
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Twitter has been real bad because I finally like started
using Twitter again, like today with work and everything, and
all of a sudden, I like one nerdy thing and
it's all flood of Superman tweets, Like we're gonna close
Twitter for today. We're good, but we always start the
podcast properly, and then we got the rigamarole. Also, this
(03:13):
will be part of the rigamarole. From now on, if
you have Twitch Prime or you have Amazon Prime, you
also have Twitch Prime. So now that we hear Twitch affiliate,
you got an Amazon Prime account, go ahead, connect that
Twitch and subscribe to us as a free subscription. We'll
figure out how to give you cool stuff with that.
We're figuring it out as we go, and it helps
us help you the people. The people.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah, you get it once a month.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Pressure it once a month, every month, and then we're
helping each other.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
It's a whole circle of light thing we have.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Going to help us help you. And if you don't
like what's going on, tell us so we can improve
podcasts and make sure we don't do those things. So
be gentle, because be gentle, be nice about it, firm
but nice, but nice. But we gotta do what you doing.
Where we talking about the shows and movies we've been watching,
(04:04):
lives we've been living, in games we've been playing. I
did that order, that's okay, lives we've been living. And
because it is Thursday, I get to go first, the
World Traveler. The World Traveler, some would say, so usually
this like a five minute segment. It's probably be like
a ten minute segment. Today and that's okay. But your
(04:25):
boy and his wifey went to Canada for the first
time ever for each of us, I think more this
was for sure her first time. It was a great time.
We went to Toronto and we went to Niagara Falls,
so kind of the two East cities of that, because
Niagara Falls has a part in the US and part
in Canada. The US parts in Buffalo, which is you've
(04:45):
seen the office, that's that part, and the same thing
with Bruce Holmione makes sense because right there the Canada side, well,
we'll get there. Overall great. We were delayed going out
because there was too many planes on the tarmac. That's
a thing now in twenty five. So our Canadian airports
any different in American airports, No. I will say the
(05:06):
Toronto airport not the strongest. For if you're looking for
a meal, there's not a lot of food options, and
the food options are like local. I mean, I get it,
it's locally places, but I'm like, give me a Chick
fil A or give me at least a McDonald I
expect at least a McDonald's to get me something at
the airport.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Not even a subway.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
No, not even a subway.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Look any drugon subscribed with Prime.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Look at that. We'll figure out what that means later.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Awesome, Welcome back, buddy. I don't know what that.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Means, but it was great. We landed in Toronto about
an hour later. If you've been to London ever and
you've taken the Heathrow Express, I know Eric did when
he wanted his London trip two months ago. They have
a thing called Heathrow Express, which is direct a train
directly from the airport to like the heart of the city,
and that worked out. We did that too. In Toronto.
(05:58):
We were literally like a ten minute walk from our
home hotel, which was real nice. We were on the
twenty ninth floor. There was forty three flours on this hotel. Kevin,
you say, in the.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
One hotel is like next to the baseball stadium.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
We did not, because that's an expensive hotel. Luckily, uh,
the the the Blue Jays, that's the team, weren't playing,
so that made things a little cheaper. If they were playing,
things probably a little bit more expensive. We tried poutine,
not a fan and a poutine, I mean.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
It's a pootine place in Baltimore, their Towson, and got
like a year ago.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
We were like, oh, this is it. This is just
kind of mumpy mac and cheese.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
I don't like it. Yeah, obviously we got vegetarian poutine
so more and I could split. It did not hit,
you know, it's like we didn't eat dinner really, so
we're like, oh, let's get poutine, Like ooh. I did
not hit. But luckily we had lounge access, so I
had a lot of brisk tea this trip because Canada
loves brisk tea.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Kevin, brisk tea is an underrated soft drink.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Not gonna lie like Kevin. I think I had too
much brik tea, Like I think they have a breakfast
lunch of dinner. How many times I was offered brisk
tea on this morning. It's full circle, full circle. But
we did do the CN Tower, which if you're like,
what is that, it's kind of like the needle, the
space needle in Seattle. You boy used to live there,
so I've done that obviously. It's also the album cover
(07:18):
Drake did be where he's sitting on the little tower
for his feet dangling from a couple of years ago,
so that's that famous one. Mara Hates Heights hands were
real sweaty. She wouldn't go on any of the like
the glass ceiling, the glass floors or any of that.
And I told her, as we're going down, thank god
you didn't see Final Destination blood lines, because you definitely
would not have gone off this if you saw that.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
It's funny because I always wondered how Drake got on
top of that building, but like what the photoshop.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Actually I think he did it because you can do
a thing it's called like the edgewalk, where like you're
hooked up to like a zip not zip line, but
like a whatever harness system I guess, and you can
like dangle a little bit. I bet you he was
hooked up to that. They just fo shot that out
a whole big harness behind them. Yeah, you just you
don't see it. Same thing with you know, movies, just
(08:07):
like that. But Toronto was really dope. We went to
a place called the Old Spaghetti Factory, which I know
isn't a Canadian thing. It's more of a North Midwest
chain thing like Kevin Free bread. As much as you want,
and they bring it in on the knives. They don't
give it to you like here's in a basket. They pullally,
stick it on nice and give it to you free salad,
free ice cream at the end of your meal.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Kevin, I'm telling you right now, if the restaurant says
free bread outside, I'm going in.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
I will sit down just for the free bread. But
that was great. We went to a place that if
you've been to Pike Place Market, had a lot of food,
which was good too, and highlight Kevin, I'm gonna I'm
gonna text this to you. I think I can get
it on my phone. But we went to Kensington Market,
which is not only a market but more of a
neighborhood that sells vintage clothing. Like all the houses are
(08:56):
literally like the stores there. It's like Lydia stoop and
it's like, here's my vented shop. Let me see if
I find the image. Because I conned more into buying
something that you would think going in this trip, no way,
no chance you would buy this below and behold, there's
a hoodie. There's a way. All right, where's this photo? Okay, Kevin,
(09:16):
I'm coming up black with That's fine, you do that.
Can I send you the photo? I conned Maura into
buying a Mickey Mouse sweater for our Disney shre this Christmas.
I just texted to you. I don't know how long
it'll take a cent, but when you see that, you'll
go ooh. But it was the first shop we saw
that it was on clearance for nineteen Canadian dollars, which
(09:39):
it's about seventy five cents to a US dollar, so
it was like thirteen bucks or something like that. And
snagged it. And you know, it's a little dirty, but
we're gonna clean up and see what we can do
use it for Disney.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
I like how you're slowly bringing her into this Disney pool,
Like it's like it's like one of those really cool
beach entry pool.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
So that's not like you was thrown her in the
deep end.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Know what, It's okay. I think she's also slowly giving up.
It's also more what it is than me encouraging her. Well,
that is part of a marathon at the point, you
know what, I'm in this. I'm in this. But that
was great. We do take the train of the Niagara Falls,
which was cool. It was like three hours. So I
watched a lot of dragon Ball and uh so I'm
(10:22):
through the Zamasu saga in dragon Ball Super so I
just have like the final Battle of whatever where Jeering
comes in, So that's exciting. I did watch K Pop
Demon Hunters Kevin, You and your You and your eldest Leah, Well,
Leo will like it a lot. You will tolerate it
because of the same animation style as into the Spider Verse.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
We were trying to get her to watch it, but
she's she's kind of like me defiance.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
So any anything everybody likes, she's not gonna like.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
It because it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
So I'll keep trying because I keep really good.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
It's good. The music is pretty good too, and like
you wouldn't mind hearing in on repeat. I watched I
listened to it at work today. I was like, that's
good videos.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
On twitch TikTok.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Yeah, it's it's it's pretty good. And then Niagara Falls.
If you've never been in the Canadian side is like
Las Vegas meets Virginia Beach and they had a baby.
Because there there's a strip of like a lot of restaurants.
Went to Rainforest Cafe for the very first time, which
was great. You never been to one in Disney, never been?
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Wow, there was one actually growing up when I was
going up. It's one in Towston and Towson Mall and
went a lot. I was little, but that one's gone now.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah, yeah, but we did that. We did a cool thing.
TikTok showed us that there's an old power plant that
used to like get electricity from the falls that has
an underground tunnel and they made a viewing platform feet
away from the falls. So we did that. There's fireworks
every night from our hotel. It was great, great time
overall Niagara Falls. And yesterday just took forever because we
(11:55):
got up at five o'clock to catch a train to
get to Toronto that left the playing left at twelve.
But we dig it up grade the first class for free,
which is nice.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
How long is the flight from uh Toronto to Virginia.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Technically, so we got it. We left Dallas. From Dallas
an hour forty but maybe forty minutes in the air,
So now it's it's cuicker than than going to Florida
got Like.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
When I went, when I flew tou to North Carolina,
it was not like an hour hour in the air,
like literally in one hour, so yeah, not bad.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yeah, it wasn't bad at all. And that's pretty much
what I've been doing. Now, Kevin, you have two stories
to tell us that you've been waiting to tell me.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, so I have one story as super Superman centric.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
So I have been like, uh, I don't say I've
been trumpeting the movie since you've been gone. But I
really enjoyed the movie. I hope you didn't watch my
whole review because I did spoiled and I.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Did not watch any of it, Kevin. I was in Canada, so.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
I didn't give it. I didn't give it tennel eight
point five.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
I think you said eight point five.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, but I really, really, really really liked it.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
So I was talking to our afternoon hosts my job,
and he like brought me into the studio to talk
about it because he was like so so infatuated because
it was I mean, it's turnded everywhere on Twitter last week.
I'm surprised. I'm not happy didn't run into any more
spoilers in the dad honestly, because it was everywhere I see.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
I've seen a lot of mild spoilers, but not like
how the movie actually happens and what you know and
all that stuff. I know, like the stand song. Oh
my grandpa saw it too before I saw it, which
is another thing too.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Yeah, but you haven't seen any like look on your
Father spoilers, so nothing like that.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Hopefully that's good.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
So, yeah, you brought me in to talk about the
movie on Friday after I saw it on a Monday,
the friday actually was released. While released talked about it
for about ten minutes, I got to plug the podcast.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Oh there you go.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
I don't know if that affected.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Us from from not being affiliates to be an affiliate
that Kevin. My question to you is what did you
plug of us? Because normally when I'm like, oh, yeah,
go to certain website, but you cannot promote that website
where you work.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
I said, YouTube dot com, slash if on the score pod.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
There you go, that's how you do it. And I say,
wherever you get your podcast, there you go.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
It's a desertain one because.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Actually we have a small lawsuit going on with you
guys right now, because I'll tell you.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
That's another thing. I also found out when I was gone,
so I was like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Talked about it.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
And then yesterday as I was leaving, I have a
book back on everything. The door, I hear Kevin, get
in the studio right now and talk about it again
because he said the radio say he didn't like it
as much because Superman Superman was who wasn't mean enough
for him.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Basically, I've seen a lot of that too, I've seen
I've seen some of that on Twitter for sure.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
But again, it was one of those nice conversations where
it was like me knowing all the information like we
do of the comic books and the history of the
comic and his history, but bringing it to the layman
who's just going to see a movie because I said
it was cool.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
So it was, it was, It was, it was.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
I haven't been in that situation in a while because
I really only talk about anything for you now, I don't.
I try not to engage everyone because sometimes, you know,
sometimes engaging is over engaging is a little bit too
much when it comes and stuff like that. And then
it was really cool and then also, uh, over while
you were gone, what was proba? First studerment came out.
(15:08):
My daughter had our yearly dance recital and we always
talk about what she wants to do after her dance side,
which way you want to goat blah blah blah. So
she said all she wanted to do was she wanted
to go to Texas Roadhouse for some rolls, and then
she wanted to she wanted this thing called La Boo Boo.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yes, have you seen this boo things? Oh, Kevin, you're
a little late on the Boo Boo train, but now
you're fully in the Boo Boo train.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
I went to five stores for it was two stores
in Towson Mall, two other like just nerdy stores in
the area. And I finally found one at uh I
guess and I don't know how to say.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
It, but like an Asian Japanese pop.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Store, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
It's really cool store. Actually were walking walking.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
In the mall sized iron Man, Yeah, okay, but they.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Had life sized iron Man statue there. They had a
bunch of Gundoms there.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
I was like, oh, gundam, Sorry, sorry, Lee, I didn't
get you a little Boo Boo. I got you a Gundom.
I got the blue, red, right, and blue one.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
I asked, was albo anyone? But not a little Foo Foo?
Speaker 4 (16:12):
And because my original plan was I couldn't find anywhere
in stores, I was like they had they had a
thing on popmark dot com where basically you can prepay.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
For it and they'll ship it to the store and
go pick it up.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Oh, I'm gonna do that.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
But then when I found the store that actually had them,
I was like, sweet, okay, well I can go to
the store and.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Get it now.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
On popmark dot com they were selling for about thirty
maybe forty bucks. Okay, okay, okay at the second hand store.
When I asked them how much it costs, No, I
didn't say that, say bo boo right there, seventy five dollars,
Like seventy five dollars. Seventy five. It doesn't do anything.
All it does is hang from.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Your point and you can pose it now now Anty
Drugon brings up a good point in the chat. Was
it a little boo boo or left foofoo?
Speaker 2 (16:56):
It was a loft foof It was little boo boo?
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Okay okay, actually asked me about it. I did a
whole deep dive on what they are and the knockoffs.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
Because you have nineteenth.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
You're just you ask what it is and you're just
standing in the corner scrolling TikTok oh, what is that? Damn?
What is this?
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Pick Google Ai do boo Ai tab is.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
A lifetime It has kind of caught a couple couple
of times this week for me too.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
But seventy five dollars. The thing doesn't make any noise.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
It doesn't like it's a banny baby where says hello,
I'm a la boo boo. Those things back there, my megasords.
They cost more than seventy five dollars, and they can
change the iron Man helmet lights up.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Kevin. I don't know if you saw this on TikTok,
but the new version of the Zords, I was even.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Like I might buy those, Oh yeah, yeah, the thew
Walmut ones.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Hmm, yeah, it was good good. I might spend one
hundred dollars just to get it. Looks cool, but I was.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Seventy five dollars poor in a very short Now.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Which one did you buy? Do you even know? Twenty button?
Speaker 2 (17:58):
That's the thing. They're all mystery bout.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I don't know what get okay, my god. I think
it's blue. And she's opened it so she she knows
what it is.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
She opened everywhere on her purse. It's like hangs off
our iPad wherever she is.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
The Labu boo is. If it's not on her, it's
hanging from her her dresser in her room.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Like, is she gonna? Is she probably planning with Alicia
to buy clothes for the Little Boo Boo.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
I think she is. I don't want. I don't want anymore.
It's okay, I'm upset. It's seventy five dollars.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
We had our time with Funko Pops. It is funny
because in Canada we did go to a store in
that like vintage area that was selling La Boo Boos
and literally was like a whole rack of them. I
literally had no idea, like, okay, I know, I don't
know what what is what? What's the La fu versus
the Little Boo Boo? They were selling them? It was
it was like a a Reselle shop of video games.
(18:50):
They had La Boo Boos. It was nerdy. The Canadian
they were selling for one hundred and twenty Canadian dollars,
which is about ninety US dollars. So you kind of
made good with that.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I guess I did.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
But when I saw forty my mom was setting forty
on the website seventy five, it's like somebody just punched
me in my eye, like oh.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
What, Now you know what your parents went through when
they tried to buy you a sixty dollars video game.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
That's the only way she got it, because I actually
once I was I was like, she ain't get this.
It's not this a memory washed over me from when
I was seven years old.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
All I wanted, what's a super zero Megaso.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
My dad told me he went to three Toys R
Russes and a KB toy stores.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
He was about to settle and get me the Red Battles.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
Ord.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
I didn't want to Red Battles Or I wanted. I
wanted the Super zero Megasor. But he broke down and
got me the Super zero megas Or. So that's the
only reason she got it. Because I knew what my
dad went through to give me the Superziero megasord I
was kind of paying it for it. I was like, man, Dad,
you still teach me lessons from beyond.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
It's just also, it's like the same sensation of like
you buy your sixty dollars video game and your parents
drive you to go pick it up, and all you
can do for the like thirty minute drive home just
read the box and just like I'm so excited.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
That's the best part because I told her I couldn't
find one while got back to their dancing title because
I left early and go get it. When I got back,
I told her I couldn't find it. I'm sorry, but
we'll get it. We'll get it delivered once as they
come in. But literally, she knows.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
When she got into the car, seat was right in
her booster seat. I heard a.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Scream and just got back in my car and drove away.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
That was my story. I don't want to buy anymore.
I think I'm done. That's the other thing. Is this
this mystery box? I don't know.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
I don't want to get the same one again. Like
I need a guarantee that's gonna be a different color.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Like I think you're good. I think if Alicia gets
in there, that's Alisha's money, that's not your money. So
that I feel like at this point, like.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Her and care are gonna be so so different because Kiris,
I really do think he's gonna be a wrestling girl
because she she will stop what she's doing.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
There's wrestling schools in Baltimore too, Kevin, i't have connect
So if you want to know this down the road,
but that'd be kind of cool, that'd be kind of cool.
That really cool.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Here, what would be her name? The Killers? Too easy?
Speaker 1 (21:12):
I mean that's that. Oh okay, okay, there you go,
there go.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
But that's all I've been doing, man.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
And also I did I did play college football two
K twenty six the other day. Handle sutly. I'll get
into a little more as time goes. Yeah, talk about Monday.
We got a weekend of it, you know exactly. I
wasn't play with George Mason. I couldn't find him on there.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
I don't have a football team, Kevin, So thanks so
much for name. You played JMU? Hey, I last year
I played MU because that was my second choice, but
I picked gm U. And fun fact, JAMU was which
James Madison in case you don't know that because you
live in Virginia, it's the one by the BUCkies. Now
that's also landmarking. That's cool for you. Uh. It was
(21:56):
also more a second pick. So there is also an
alternate reality where the two two of us are still together. Yeah,
that's interesting.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
I don't know dig Madison because I always see a
big old' sadium down seventy.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Yeah, there you go, there you go. Well, Kevin, let's
get onto it because it's time and first things first,
I have to break down, make sure all the buttons work.
We need to talk about every butta on HBO Max
(22:30):
because yes, now it is still officially HBO Max. So
we don't have to course cracked ourselves every time we
say HBO Max.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Now we're back, We're back to square one.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
We didn't change at the times. The times changed with us.
So casey miss it. It's kind of happened the past
two days, I guess every other and no, past two days,
I guess we'll say that.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
This was on Monday.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
We did get the first look of the new actor,
Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter in costume because filming has
actually begin begun on the show. We would have the
photo up but it's whatever. But you know, he looks
like Harry Potter, which is great.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
He is adorable.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
He's like I don't say that loud about kid actors,
but oh my gosh, this is definitely this. I'm not well,
she was his named up, the original actor. He's still Harry,
but this is this is.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
The new Harry. Now. Yes, Daniel Radcliffe, there you go,
and Darius Stone. No, we only do a couple of
UK impressions not a lot on the show, but you know,
we do Harry Potter and that's it until we watched
the show and then we get new UK impressions because
our UK impressions now have been based on past twenty
years of current Harry Potter, so exactly. But yeah, the
(23:47):
photo if you've played any of the video games, it,
I mean, he looks like Harry Potter in the video
games and the art from the books, which which is
great and can't really go wrong with that. Put glasses
in a thunderbolt lightning scar on his head. You're good,
But I don't I couldn't tell if the I guess
that is a scar. He does have a scar, it
is more akin to the his temple, I guess in
(24:11):
the middle of his head. It is funny if you
watch the movies are the og movies, the the scar
moves a little bit like every movie just because you
know they can't get it exactly right and then they
couldn't fit in. That's okay. Robes looked the same. The
little vest, the sweater vest looks new, which is nice
and you'll probably buy a lot of those at Universal
Studios your next time we're at Epic Universe, Jab Perry,
(24:34):
that's I was thinking that.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
I was thinking, like when I'm doing what I feel
me is how much it's gonna be new? How much
is it gonna be brought back out of storage?
Speaker 2 (24:40):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (24:41):
I think everything's really gonna be new. And we'll talk
about the other photo because that's what I kind of think.
Everything's gonna be new, because like a lot of that
you kind of see it nowadays when it's always those
quick articles of like, oh, like today, Darth Vader's lightsaber
went up on auction for like five hundred million dollars
because it is a prop warehouse that sold off, you know,
(25:01):
a thousand lightsabers years ago. I think we talked about
the Power Ingers costumes, you know, yeah, last year being
up for sale. Most places don't reuse them unless they're
using them for like you know, Harry Potter has like
the the WB Studio tour, or they use them for
the rides and all that stuff. So maybe unless it's
like a wand or like the Sword of Gryffindor or
(25:22):
Godre Giffrendor and stuff like that, it'll probably be new stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
But and I'm talking about this also on Well, I
wasn't talking, I was rambling about it on Monday's episode.
Is that I'm kind of looking forward to this series
as like almost my intro into Harry Potter mm hm,
because I've watched the movie, but I never watched the books,
and it's supposed to be a little bit more in
depth of books than the movie, So I'm kind of
looking forward to getting the real story without having to read.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, and then and like like you said, it will
be more in depth. You'll probably get more of those
in between chapters in the books where you know Hermione's
really fighting for like house self rights, which is in
like like the fifth through like sixth, fifth and sixth
book where she's really fighting for You see Dobby and
Creature a lot you go in the kitchen of which
is like a lot of stuff you do in the
video games that they didn't really do because they had
(26:09):
to fill out the video game compared to the movie,
which was an hour and a half or whatever. But
on top of that, we get Harry and we get
the other big cast, and we knew we got our
first look as at Nick Frost as Hagrid, and he
looks like Nick Frost and Haggard costume.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
He looks good.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
I mean, I know we wanted our buddy that was
unfortunately he passed away. But I'm not bad at this
at all. Like this looks like it's gonna be a lot.
He as much as we've grown. I mean, it wasn't
a line from the game, the PS one game with
temographically looks at we sees Harry.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
You're oh, you're oh, oh was that? I just I gore?
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Is it Harry?
Speaker 1 (26:48):
But that's it?
Speaker 2 (26:52):
But I feel like he could deliver that line.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Look look looking at this picture tephot though he would
deliver that line very very well. And then once we
see open him opened his mouth as as Hagrid. All
we all we forgot, I forgot all will be accepted.
I should say, oh, it's you've done it now? Aria
is the is the line? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:13):
What's he opened his mouth as a Hagrid.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Will he'll be accepted, I think as not a biggest
part of it as you are.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
I feel like he'll be accepted once you want to see. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
In fun fact, Nick Frost did voice s M. Thirty
three from Skeleton Crew, which was more of a pirate twang.
Nick Frost. I mean he's been in a bunch of
stuff and he voiced, oh, actually no, he wasn't. How
the knew how to train your dragon?
Speaker 6 (27:39):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
As the guy with one hand I forgot. I forgot
off the top of my head, the blacksmith guy. Yes. So,
like Nick Frost is established, I think it'll be really good.
I know, you know, Robbie Coltrane iconic as Hagrid. Uh,
And it'll be interesting, like is this the role Nick
Frost is now forever remembered as for most of us
as Sean of the Dead. But now, hey Newton generation,
(28:00):
he's Hagrid.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
He's gonna be the Black People's Hagrid.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
Like I said, I'm hoping I can sit Leah down
with Felicia. It to be there their little magic show basically,
and good Leah and Harry Potter. But this is, like
I said, if she likes this, this will be her hacker going.
It's gonna be crazy.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Yeah, So obviously we know twenty twenty six, tentatively is
still when it's supposed to come out. October twenty twenty
six makes sense Halloween and the Christmas because every Harry
Potter weekend always was either a Halloween weekend or Christmas
weekend because yep, we're like, well, it's technically both because
both seasons happened in the movie and he thanks Danny
(28:36):
drogun Nick Frost was gobber, but true. I'm excited. I
think it will be a good time and it'll be
I think everyone's gonna watch the show. Now, will everyone
like it? That's a different story.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
I want to gonna be kind of more of a
kind of like a Last of Us because Last of
Us it was like the first season everybody lauded over it,
the sexteason kind of it, kind of it was more split.
I wanted to be the long term because we're gonna
see this kid. This is gonna be kind of no
stranger things. The kids gonna go up in front of
our eyes.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
It's gonna be crazy kids about to be twenty nine
by the time that last season comes out, depending on
if it's pulling the Last of Us and you're gonna
get a season every two years or we're gonna get
a season every year, so we'll find out.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
That's why I also hope the on the business end
of these shows they negotiate well because we usually know
some reason why the show's in because when the contract
is up and they want more money, like now we're
good in the shows.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Yeah, so the contracts are very fair. But Jamie Perry
did put it best. You will have a divided fandom.
You have your movie fans, your book fans, and then
these fans. But I think this will partly air more
on the book fans side of things, and like the
chats kind of said, it'll be interesting with you know,
the theme parks going forward starting twenty twenty seven, most likely,
(29:49):
like do we re theme the Riots? Because hey, Daniel Radcliffe,
Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, they can't, you know, do new
videos for all the characters and stuff. But a new
Harry Potter actor can come on in and do it
for you.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
I mean, did he does that same thing right now?
Because I mean's supposed to.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
We all love Cinderella and Pinocchio and Belfbdian best. That's
not the princess anymore? Is Tiana is Mowana? It's whis
ir name Tangle Lady? I can't right now, the lady
from Tangle Rapunzel. Yeah, yes, Rapunzel. It was like the
common one, the easy one. But they are the they
are the new Princess than Princess, the new generation to
(30:29):
the to the product. So it could be that the
universe's first time doing it.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah, I do think that the Harry Potter rides mainly
like it's like the Hogwarts, cast Green Gotts, Hagrids could
probably stay the same for for the most part. Is
really kind of think of it as Pirates of the
Caribbean and a little bit of Jurassic Park where those
rides have kind of gotten a little bit re themed
for Jurassic World, and Pirates has included more Jack Sparrow
(30:53):
in that ride. I think that's probably what small changes
than big changes I saw on TikTok the other day.
People are like, we want Jurassic Park River Adventure to
finally get that Jurassic World. Rethme like, no, keep it nineties, baby,
keep it.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Nineties, keep it on Jassic Park.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Do you review on that we did? We did, and
good start. But that movie came out at the beginning
of July, Kevin, But let's talk about a movie that
comes out technically near the end of July. Because Fantastic
four First Steps, well, we're steps away Fantastic four First
Steps where we can yell that theme song anytime we want.
(31:30):
When we get the popcorn bucket, maybe, do you think
I can expense it if if I buy the eighty
dollars Galactus popcorn bucket, if it's still in stock, it
probably won't be.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
You can always try and be told no that's true.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
They can only just say no. I'm like, all right,
well more, we're all eighty bucks. We know the movie
is coming, you know, we know literally it's next week.
We're excited. I think right now the current runtime estimates
a little right under two hours, like an hour fifty
eight or something like that, which.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Tells me there's not gonna be much. I think it's
not gonna be much.
Speaker 4 (32:04):
On prolog to this, like, I'm not gonna see them
get their power signal, okay they would at wait it
got powers and here we go.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yeah, I think very akin to I haven't seen it.
Any jerker did say the best I can get a
popcorn bucket of a little booo, but very kin to
Superman from what I've been told. But I haven't seen
yet until this weekend. But we did know that runtime, Well,
something got cut and it turns out John Malkovich probably
won't be in the movie at all.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
I mean, it's it does suck. I hate it for
John Macovich becase I'm sure he was really excited to
be this movie. But using Superman as an example, I
feel like shorter superhero movies that aren't like your Avengers,
the eventual Justice League, or even like even like Fast
Fast ten and Fast ten and a half wherever they're
calling it now. I feel like, if it's just launching something,
(32:53):
it needs to be quick, fast, to the point. We
are a TikTok generation now we want to swipe up
see what the next thing is, so we don't need
a two hundred two hour and fifteen minute Fantastic four
one movie. Basically you don't need that an hour just
under two hours. I think it's perfectest movie that way.
They can hit the ground running, tells the story you
need to tell, and then going forward.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Set up sets up for doomsday.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
So it sucks for them. I understand it sucks for him.
Hopefully they released it.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
As a deleated scene the scene one.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
What's the movie? Because I'm digital, but I kind of
understand it.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Yeah. So, according to Matt Shakman's interview with Variety, he's
the director of the film. He said, a moment centered
on Malcovich's villain character were some of the many scenes
that ultimately ended up hitting the cutting room floor. Rumor
John Malcovich was supposed to be Red Ghost or a
version of Red Ghost, who is a Fantastic four villain.
(33:44):
You know, Fantastic Four. We don't really have a deep
coat of roster of villains for them, just in modern
cinema Doom, Silver Surfer, Galactus or Big Old Cloud. But
you know they Shackman said, we were building a sixties
retro future world, including all these villains, but ultimately something
had to be sacrificed to that the story to be
(34:05):
told was told. We do know. Also, Moleman is supposed
to be introduced. Natasha Leone is in this movie at
some point. Remember we got this like big wave of
like casting news, like who the hell these people is?
Natash Leon's gonna be Birdie? You know, from what if?
Who knows? We'll find out next week.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
And they also screamed, I think I talked about this
on Monday. They screamed like a half hour of the
film somewhere I don't know where they were, Brazil or
somewhere that wasn't anywhere I could go, but apparently it
got great reviews. And again it's only half an hour,
saything with Superman last month before did a full screening,
but apparently got good review They say that it's one
of the best ones since any game, which I think
(34:44):
using any game as your stalwarts has has been a mistake.
Maybe maybe say the best one since No Way Home,
maybe a better comparison. But it's exciting. Every time I
see a trailer I'll get more a little bit more excited.
Now I'm not watching the last trailer because apparently it's
well something I don't know. I'm not going to say
it because I'm so upset about that I Reddit, so
(35:05):
I'm not gonna watch it last year.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
But I'm still excited to see.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
It because of what it potentially means for the MCU
going forward. And also I do feel like this movie
will be successful if it's good, because Superman will received
so well. I think now people are like in the
mood now like I didn't see them in the Superman
movie because Superman have so much with Superman, I won't
see another one now.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Maybe it'd be just as good.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, And so hopefully I think the rumor
also is Petro Pascal might be a leader type role
in Avengers Doomsday, but we don't know. We can't take that.
You know, we will get a trailer for Avengers Doomsday
at the end of Fantastic Four.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
Maybe I don't know that that would be cool. But
also this is the second to last Marble product of
the year. After this, we get Isaaconda, after that Wonder Man.
That's that's all, that's it, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
And then Spider Man and then this and then Doomsday.
You know, so we.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
We we are getting thin with the Marble products Mama projects,
so we'll see what happens going forward.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
Yes, but while we're getting thin in Marvel projects, we're
getting thick in Nintendo projects. Because on top of Donkey
Kong Bonanza coming out this week, it's got good rus
I feel like Mario Odyssey definitely try that out. And
on top of the Donkey Kong movie kind of getting
greenlit to be made, which made sense because they announced
that forever ago. Don't we finally know who will be
(36:23):
playing Link who will be playing Zelda in the live
action Legend of Zelda film.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
Yes, Zelda will be played by actress Bull Braxon Link
by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
How do you think they have filmography? I've seen nothing.
They've been that's.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Okay, and that's okay. So the casting was announced today
as this podcast recording from Cigaur Mirmoto, you know the
Nintendo legend the Goat, who said he's very much looking
forward to seeing the pair in the series iconic lead roles.
I mean we've kind of talked about really free probably
(36:58):
past years since they announced them movie was was gonna
be happening? Uh, you know Tom Hollins and Day. At
one point, Hunter Schaeffer has been rumored to be the
front runner to play Zelda the entire time, but it
looks like for this, you know, like keV said, Bo Braggisson,
We're playing Zelda. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will be Link. Uh.
The film is scheduled release in theaters May seventh, twenty
(37:20):
twenty seven, so we've got time for that, but exciting. Nonetheless,
Braggison has been most famously Netflix's series Renegade. Nell and
Ainsworth was on The Haunting to Blind manor if they
look familiar to.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
You, this will be interesting because the only other I
guess Staple character I know from the is uh that's
got his name again in.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
Doranandoran. It's a whole thing other than that.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
Because you've played you've played recent game, more recent games
more than more than I have. It is anybody else
that we're looking to cast.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
It's more supporting characters, and it really depends where what
timeline the what timeline universe version of Lincoln Zel that
they want to do. Are they're going to stick to
Breath of the Wild timeline in Tears of the Kingdom.
Dad makes sense because you know, those the most purchased
Nintendo Switch game. It really had a one for one
ratio for the longest time. Because then you have a
(38:24):
lot more supporting characters as far as I know, obviously
there's there's small characters. It just depends really what timeline
you go with and what type of story you want
to tell. But Gannon Gannandorf really is your next big battie.
I would assume probably that character will be a bigger
name actor and it'll be more kin to you know,
(38:44):
Jack Black as Bowser didn't think would work, but it worked.
I think this will be more like, oh hell yeah,
we got him as Gannandorf.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
I can't remember his name right now. But the actor
that plays Tim and Lanister, he's so menacing.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Oh it's Charles Dance.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
I believe Charles Dance because he's he takes things so
seriously when he when he plays.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
He was he was a villain?
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Was he a villain Sonic three? I think it was
villain Sonic three?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
No, Sonic three was was also Jim Carrey.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
He was he was something that wasn't serious recently.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
I can't remember if to my head. I'm just going
off a list that our friends of Game Rant put together. Kevin, you,
based on your ooze, might tell me who you might
you might like as these actors Idris Elba okay, okay, okay.
Batista hmmm, that's interesting. That's a choice. I don't know.
I don't know if that he's ready for lead villain
roles still yet you got Gime jam and Hunt Sue.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
I can see that. I can see that.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Not a big name, but I think he can pull
off Andy Andy Serkis. If you're doing c G I Gannondorf,
that's essentially just snoke. But you got Winston Duke, that'd
be good. I think he needs a little more gravitized.
Def Patel don't think that want to happen. Ron Pearlman,
(40:09):
it's just hell boy. But you know Ron Perlman.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Yeah, I can see that too. I see I can
see that Ron Perlman as well.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Okay, well I didn't like that this article. Okay, that
was stupid. Oh wait actually, oh no, all right, that
was weird. Their top you think Godzilla by the way, yes,
there you go. Their top choice Laurence Fishburn as CANNONF.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
I think fish Burn is too cool because he's a.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
Little crazy, right, yes, yes, obviously Jamie Perry gave us
the NFL supporting characters. You can have impa chic chic,
that's the whole thing. Sell them too, uh skull kid
happy mass sales been delivery Guy Romania. Matt Mercer did
voice Gannandorf in Tears of the Kingdom. I assume they
will cast a big name actor, though I don't know
(40:56):
if that will be interesting. I think we need a teaser.
Is this movie gonna be half real? Half cgi? How
are we gonna? How are we gonna do it? Because
I believe it's uh who's the director? It is director
west Ball, so like it. You gotta go all over
the place with what he's done, he's done Kingdom of
Planet Apes, He's done a maze Runner, so it could work. Basically,
(41:20):
they want to do the c g I type, more characters.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
I would know if it hast like a big leam
actor to be to take this two.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Days ago alone.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Guy from Lina.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
Who's who's the voice of the nobby of like hey,
look listen, and that's just like MAT's Hunter Shaeffer like, hey,
we're giving you something. You know, it's an easy role.
We get it, we get an internet. We know this
is what you want it, but is what you're gonna get.
Speaker 4 (41:41):
I'm still interesting what kind of movie this will be
because I do still feel like Legend of Zelda live
action kind of to me plays like a Game of
Thron more magic.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
Yeah, I I think so. Really, I think you take
it from Game of Thrones' book. I mean King of the
Planet Apes. That is a good mix of human versus
CGI apes. I don't think every character needs to be
in full suits and all that stuff. May's Runner for
the time was good, you know, like the twenty fifteen's
you know for CGI and all that stuff. So I
(42:15):
think you have to find the balance. We'll talk about
CGI with humans because we're gona we're gonna talk about
stranger things trailing a second. I feel like we're getting
past the point where Trainer Things relies on the demigorgan animation.
It's still the same animation from like twenty twelve, so
it's keeping up with the times of animation.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
Control see control V.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
It's all good though, it's okay, but I think you
kind of got to figure it out, like how do
you take these these big games because these ain't, you know,
five hour games. These are at least twenty hour games,
even if you're playing the game Boy, if you're playing
a game Boy version of his old game, and condense it.
Obviously it's removing a lot of you know, the battles
(42:56):
and the boss battles, but you kind of gotta have
that because that's that's that magic sauce that makes the
Legend of Zelda.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Yeah, legends I thought would be a cooler TV show
than it would be movie.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
I'm trying to I'm definitely.
Speaker 4 (43:08):
I'm definitely here because I mean, Legend of Zelda has
more common with God of War than people realize, because
it really is about a journey to do something across
multiple names.
Speaker 1 (43:17):
You know what I mean. And obviously they cast younger
actors because they want the actors to grow into the roles.
So don't let that, you know. Oh it's gotta be
kid Link, you know and kid Zelda. That dictates what
Timler are going to. But whatever first look costume they
give us, like they do with the Harry Potter costume,
that would dictate a lot. So pay attention to the
costume reveals when they give that to us.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
I didn't really read a really cool I guess a
fan made script is about old Man Link.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
It was really bloody, but it was just old man logan.
But let's Wolverine exactly this old man Linkannon their friends
now their best the buddies know that.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
This guy actually he wore the trophy.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
It was both all right, make it a comedy, intend
to approve it. But Kevin speaking of dark things. Well,
let's head on over to Reaction Theater because it's time
to break down the newest trailer for Strangers Days. So
(44:14):
Netflix really is the full first This is technically the
first full trailer for this show, which is wow that
the other trailer was just a teaser. Well this is
also a teaser trailer, so I don't know what the
hell Netflix is called label and its trailers. So I mean,
at this point we need.
Speaker 4 (44:30):
To go trailer one, trailer two, because like there's a
tea the trailer, then there's a theatrical trailer, there are
TV spots, and then there's a final trailer.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Tickets.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
Now it's a whole thing. So in case you didn't know,
Stranger Things five ak the final season, whatever you want
to Part five, whatever I wanna call it, is release
on Netflix. It's gonna get three premiere dates. We talked
about this when the first trailer came out. Volume one
will come out in November twenty sixth. We four episodes.
That'sue Thanksgiving break Time. Volume two with three episodes to
(44:59):
come out on Chris so you're done with Presence. We
talked about this. They're gonna Netflix is gonna own your
TV because it's gonna be football Game three episodes, Stranger
Things another Football Game, Genius, and then the finale will
be on New Year's Eve. Each volumele release at five
pm Pacific time, so you know, watch the finale it'll
(45:20):
probably be about two hours, and then watch the ball drop.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
I do wish I know that East Coast West Coast
where everything is made. But come on, give me two o'clock, give.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Me two o'clock, give me a middle of the day,
you know. So here's the official synopsis that we'll watch
the trailer. It's the fall of nineteen eighty seven. Hawkins
is scarred by the opening of the Riffs, and our
heroes are united by a single goal, find and kill Vecta.
This description sounds exactly like a dungeon master reading a
D and D plot with me reading it right now, And.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
It's funny because a lot of this looks like it's
D and D coming full circle.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Basically, here's here's the here's the synopsis again. But Vecna
has vanished his whereabouts and plans unknown, complicating their mission.
The government has placed the town under military quarantine, which
is Hawkents in case you forgot, and intensified it's hunt
for eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary
of Will's disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread.
(46:15):
The final battle is looming, and with it a darkness
more powerful and more deadly than anything they faced before.
To end this nightmare, they'll need everyone, the full party,
standing together one last time. Ohsemble, Like that's like battle
to battle.
Speaker 4 (46:38):
It's funny that we're here, Like I thought we would
get here to the end of Trainer of Things because
this show started we were interns.
Speaker 1 (46:43):
Dude twenty sixteen July twenty sixteen. So it'll essentially be
nine years years literary, nine years of this show. Uh,
thirty four episodes. I think someone did the math when
these episodes come out and someone's like, this is the
failure of today's generation of TV that we had a
way nine years for thirty four episodes.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
Now, in fairness, there was a whole pandemic and like
three striking, Yeah, the link to this show.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
Just to be fair Now, iconically, Shame Your Things has
kind of been a little lit miss test and a
pop culture zeitgeist for a lot of things we remember
iconically Ego, Waffles, new Coke, running up that Hill all
became popular again because of this show and Dungeon and
Dragon most importantly.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
Now, to think about it, should we do for Christmas
and Thanksgiving? The Strange Things inspired family family Dinner.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
Kevin. I thought you're gonna go somewhere else, and I
have a plan, and it's been culminating. It's been it's
been it's been ruined in that that drawer right right there,
it's in there. Just you wait, baby, just you wait.
Make it easy for us and we will pre record
that and ARID channel so awesome. I love it. You
(47:56):
won't have to do anything those days. Uh, Jamie Perry,
you might be on the finger on the pulse right there.
But Kevin, let's watch the trailer and then we'll break
it down. All right, let's do it on the count
of three, one, A two. My audio trying to dial Steve. Yeah,
it's always quiet on purpose. W ask cay. Hell yeah,
(48:19):
we get some radio spoofs all right now, it's it's
the Goat, the Goat, the voice of Hawkins, Hawkins, Hawkins.
It's just a lot of theeal sounds. You're not alone,
don't worry.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
Still wild, It's Lucas three.
Speaker 1 (48:42):
Come on, come on to Popper Heels in the game
this November volume one. The kids are on bikes, Hawkins
in lockdown. They got a been through a stargate portal.
(49:03):
Just thing.
Speaker 6 (49:07):
Er.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
I mean, it's cool, cool, vibes is together. That's gonna
be us, Kevin, women, that's gonna be us. November and December,
this year, Don't You Worry, Chap Good, Demi God, Sarah Connor, Crossover, Dart,
(49:39):
m h Guns Car, Mirror Acts, Will falling down again?
Wherever this blood leads? Will's mom Are Finn's Mom's a.
Speaker 6 (49:59):
Chase?
Speaker 1 (50:04):
What's a mascap?
Speaker 2 (50:07):
It's how it all started.
Speaker 6 (50:09):
Grenades We have gotten back too, And looks sister, there
you come.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
That's a big hand.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
Found you. Oh Baca, looking vainy.
Speaker 2 (50:38):
That's why you sees have Christmas finale.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Christ there you go. Yeah, I mean looks cool. I
mean it's it's strange of things. It's what we expected
in that that'll loop on its own. That's okay. Yeah,
it is funny because this trailer came out this morning.
Eric put it best. Oh remember what happened the Analyst season.
I was like, you're no owner, Eric, you are not alone.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
I remember the big parts. They beat Becna, they ran
up that hill, up the hill, and he died.
Speaker 4 (51:12):
Luke's girlfriends like in a coma because Becka pretty much
almost took her over.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
But that's about it. That's about all I remember, really, because.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
It's been three years since that happened. Fun fact, Joe
Quinn was a newcomer season four happened and he is
now in everything.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
So he is Johnny the Human Torch, one of the
biggest characters in Marvel Comics.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
He was in Gladiator. He is literally in everything this year.
But yeah, obviously Our one, two, three, four, five, Our
Core five Core four whatever plus eleven got Max, Got
Steve Harrington, Hopper Dancing Wheeler, Jonathan Buyers, Maya Hawks in.
There is Robin Joe Quinn's dead pop I might pop up,
(51:56):
he always pops up. Fly. Matthew Modine and Jamie Campbell
Bauer obviously voices of WGNA. Murray was the conspiracy guy,
Kevin nam Murray, remember one.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
Of my favorite He's probably gonna die probably uh.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
And then obviously Winona Riders, Joyce Spires, and Carara Buono
as Karen Wheeler aka Mike's mom. Probably the main cast
we know about so far with this show.
Speaker 4 (52:23):
I mean, even though we don't remember much of what
happened last season. Last season, I remember still being pretty
good and it felt like in a big event every
time because he did the same thing last time. They
were released it in two parts. I remember the last
part came out a lot four. I think it was
yes I just remember my wife and a few friends,
not friends, it's like their family.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
We call them friends.
Speaker 4 (52:43):
We were all just locked in run on TV watching
this and it looks like this is gonna be the
same thing, and there's way releasing it when they are
because when we at the house and we're gonna be
treaming that. Honestly, it could be a mistake should they
release this in a non holiday time that when we
people will watch it in their own separate homes.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
That is true, Kevin. I am proof of that that
we had to go to the Skellies to log into
our Netflix accounts so we can watch Netflix. You are correct, now,
they're I think they're counting on you have the Netflix account.
But guess what you're going to your mom or your
grandparents' house and one We're like, damn, I gotta change
the code now. Damn.
Speaker 2 (53:18):
But it looks it looks intense, It looks more action
packed this time. That makes sense. It looks it looks
gonna be another another tense time in Hawkins.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
Yeah, so to speak, I'm excited. I mean, say what
you will about it. It's quality t It's quality TV.
You know, we've had a lot of quality TV. Since
Stranger Things has come out, we've had Last of Us.
We've had and Or, which that's a whole amys thing
we we could have talked about. But you know it's
no Award nominations are weird because like I test, tell
me the winners. But we've had we've had the Penguin,
(53:51):
so like Dragon, we'll see, we've had House that many
seasons of House the Dragon. We've had Game of Thrones
and once already. Uh, we've had a d C U
and a d C EU. Maybe that's a podcast. We
do have things that ended started and ended before Stranger
Things ended. Write that down that is that is a
good podcaste.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
That's a good idea.
Speaker 4 (54:11):
Actually, it's been a lot, it's been. It's been a
whole The wand Division happened, h what happened?
Speaker 1 (54:19):
Endgame happened. Yeah, we had Infinity War and Endgame.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
As a matter of fact, we had a DC universe
end and begin before we got another seasoning.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
We had we thought and we finally yeah, we finally
got Black Alam and then two wow, oh I thought
Kevin didn't remember.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
So that's okay.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
That just shows you, Black Adam, you did not change
the hierarchy of power in the DC universe.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
You tried, but it work.
Speaker 1 (54:48):
But Kevi, I'm gonna switches back on over into normal
view because we've seen that trailer enough and if you
didn't all this the pattern, we put the trailers down
in the beginning or end of the podcast just in
case we gotta cut them out, so Dory, it is
a pattern for you. We did get chanting Tatumu's gambit
as well. Jamie Perry, come on, we got pockets. Don't
spoil this podcast, but we've got nothing going on. It's
the podcast topic we can do. But that There's been
(55:13):
a lot, but that does it for us on this episode.
We're back, baby, don't worry. We're affiliate status and we
will be back on Monday live here Twitch dot tv
or YouTube dot com, slash if it underscore pods sharing
my review of Superman. Now Kevin can be spoiler of
bounds and be like, please please tell him, please tell
me he liked it when I liked it, so we
were on the same page. You know, I think I
(55:35):
think you'll like it.
Speaker 4 (55:36):
I don't feel like it as much as I did
because I'm just I love just Justice League show. I
got a lot of feels from that, but I think
I don't think you'll like it.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
Okay, okay, but we back then doing that review and
whatever other shenanigans we get up to this weekend. But

Yeah, I just did it.
Speaker 4 (56:09):
It was pretty easy. It was just just a box
that said, hey, do you want to use your Amazon Prime.
Speaker 1 (56:13):
Yes, you want to use it for us exactly exactly,
but you can see everything like I said, like I
said at infinite underscore Pods. We are also potentially Monday,
we'll talk about the Mortal Kombat two trailer, which there's
a leak trailer that's on social media that I hopefully
isn't the official trailer that's supposed to come tomorrow's this
(56:34):
podcast recording, but I have a feeling it might be.
So it will be either super hype or super like Okay, Yeah,
I get it, but I went the real trailer.
Speaker 4 (56:41):
Yeah, the more more I re want this movie, I
think this is a streaming movie that the first one
was too, because remember that came out peak of the pandemic.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
I think street Fighters going the same way. I've seen
the castles for a street.
Speaker 1 (56:55):
Fighter, Cody Roads keeping that hair blonde, you know what
I'm saying, Even if he's get a villain turn, keeping
a blonde.
Speaker 4 (57:02):
That is definitely that is definitely gonna be on Netflix
or something. It's not gonna be releasing THEO as it
can't be.
Speaker 1 (57:07):
And Kevin, one last thought for you to ponder, uh
before I do the wrap up, Chilly Roles wrestler, what
do you feel about that? Well, you pondered that next
time for next episode. As always, my name is Hoodie
