Infinite on Cave.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
It's kind of like, uh, the guy and I Rob,
they're always goes some machines up, They're always some throats.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, that's what happens when you live with a dog
who sheds everywhere. You know, it's it's getting in the
winter coat that there's hair everywhere and something. When you
have to inhale to do a big intro, you get
some dog in your mouth, it would.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Be too Like I don't know science, but I feel
like at this point we should have bred out within
your coats and.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
You would figure, you know, especially because I'm giving Teddy
has jackets and many coats and shirts. You know I've
seen to watch and shoes. Teddy hates shoes. You either,
if you have a dog that loves shoes, good for you,
because like I think it's a genetics thing, Like don't

find out, keV, the dumb walk. You'll find out, Kevin,

been one of the things we've had on the back burner,
but we found out we found the technology to finally
(01:58):
make it happen. Were officially making a tier list of
our favorite Well, we'll say the Goat Amusement park rides
at both Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Which park is better? Saying no at the ride?
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Now, there may be a pattern you see where certain
rides are determine where they are. That's based on you.
That's not what we're saying. We're just saying these are
the best rides.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
I got no for effective. If my aunt is watching this,
watch it sometimes forst tire Is. It's a small world
and we all hate her when she get along with her.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
So here's the thing, Kevin mar you look at this list.
The first thing, I don't even know what that is.
I don't know that's a ride. Yeah, Kevin's gonna have
to google that one. Okay. But you can see everything
we were talking about so much more today by going
to Hot ninety nine to five dot com slash Crisis Crew.
(02:53):
You can stay up to the day with us and

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Slash if you underscore pods to watch us on demand

either at Universal Disney or you know, six Flags Busch
Gardens outside place.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
In Ohio to see the point any point which you
know King's Dominion, Kings.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Million is another one? Was that another one that's like
down south Carol Wins that's what it's called.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah in North Carolina. Oh yeah, that's far from us.
But yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
You dot such inf and under scorre pods like subscribe,
leave comments. Also we've joined us live Twitch dot team
that's inf and Underscore pods interacted with a chat to
abuch your favorite rides there or you can also on
your podcast Apple Choice leave your comments there. Subscribe and
also leave your comments your favorite rides. We all love
our favorite We've all ridden rides since what shoot? Did
you ever ride those right outside of the grocery store
(03:53):
for like twenty five cents?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Oh yeah, all day baby, oh day still do no
it still don't can't fit in them anymore.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
But that's when you know your parents were like at
least doing okay. They totally come like you know what,
go ahead and rode the rocket ship.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
But also it's a different time or like hey, I
need to go get like butter, you're gonna put this
court machine. I should be back by the time you're done,
like you always finished before they came out and you're like,
what happened?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I remember there was like an entire like I don't
know kid parking that in the mall. It was just
like there's a train, there's this rocket ship, there's the car,
and we love to think and you look at it
and I was like, wow, I was an idiot.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
This is absolutely nothing. It's good to reflect back, you
know sometimes sometimes but we always start the podcast properly
with what you're doing, where we talk about the shows
and movies. We've been watching, games, we've been playing, lives,
we've been living. And because it is Thursday's episode, yup
Boy gets to go first and obviously what's gonna happen.
(04:55):
Probably for the next three weeks at least, Pokemon TCG
Pocket updates with the the beginning of this thing. It's
been great. I think the coolest thing, uh, the smartest
thing they did is so they released packs. It's kind
of like if you see Pokemon cards, it's always like
a weird like theme or something like Pokemon Won fifty
one was the big one that got like knee back
(05:16):
into it. This one is like Apex led It's like
Pokemon Apex or something. But what they're doing in lieu
of giving you like new packs to open maybe every month,
they're doing events for you to unlock certain cards. I'm like,
that's genius because now I'm just like investing time into
playing it just to get those certain cards. And your
boy got the Lapris, which is the one I needed,
(05:37):
and so we completed that little wave of collection. Which
is great. Is the labors still considered like a high
tip Pokemon. I feel like no, I feel like I
feel like back when the like red, Blue, Yellow, and
then the original show came out, like Laprius was like
you had like your legendary Pokemon and Lapriss was kind
of like up there. Yeah, and then like a lot
(05:59):
of other Pokemon got like mega evolutions and a couple
other side evolutions later on the games like Pincer and
hair across. Laparis is still just Lapris. You know, it's
still messy. I feel like.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Dragon Knight still a lot of Laprasses, shine, don't you
feel like evolutions like, oh, it's true la Dragon.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Knight because and then it was funny is because I
think I think it's gold, silver and crystal, like you
have the opportunity to like have encounters with a Laparis
and then I think it's like Raged Lake, which is
where you get the Red garret Dos. So everyone forgets
Lapris because you get a Red Garrettos, which is the
first shining in the game. Ever.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
You know, I toiled so long to get Garretts on
the Pokemon days when I had.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Time to myself. Originally on my original Crystal playthrough, I
remember I killed the Garret Dos. I was like, surely
I'll see it again. Red Goose is one of those
kind pseudo legendary going on there getting urted. But but
he did not he thought he will not have offspring.
But yeah, that's been fun. I'm still enjoy in the game.
It definitely is got its teeth into me of just
(07:04):
like log in every twelve hours to get a pack
and see what we get. But it's at the point
now where they kind of like front load you with
here's a bunch of packs, and then after you've done
like your first like seventy two hours, like all right,
now I gotta wait. And it's a real slow bird
of like okay, I need mute two, I need right
you you know, do you.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Have your math of those games? We're like, okay, since
I have eight eight and a half hours left. What
is eight and half hours from now? One?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Yeah? I know. And and then so there's like a
speed up mechanic. You're like, oh, I could speed this up,
but I want to time it up when by the
time I wake up. So if I'm like, oh, twelve
hours from now, nah, I'll wait, I'll wait, I can
do it. Or if it's like, oh, if that's gonna
be at three o'clock, let me speed it up to
get the mechanic going again.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
That I was a big one that was with Last War.
Last War every day for like a month, and I
got over it because it's just I'm not.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Spending I'm not doing that.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Allow you to take my money.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
You're not getting my money. Yeah, hopefully your boy won't
spend money. It is funny. This is the one game
where I've seen where they limit how much money you
can put into a game on a daily basis. So
that's fun good for Nintendo. You know.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
It's kind of like a reverse DraftKings when they're like,
give us your free bets. If you lose, get your
money back. It's like, no, no, no, what you spend
twenty hours a day, You're next twenty hours just go
get go, get a burger later.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
We don't need it, get it later. But that's pretty
much what your boy has been doing since we last talked, Kevin.
What have you been doing, good, sir?
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Hanging out with the fam a lot. We got a
lot of busy weekends coming up. Well actually right now,
it's not a sophie's choice, not that serious. But like,
so for Thanksgiving, we're going down to hang out with
my wife's family, my extended family. But she wants to
leave very early in the morning, so kind of time
(08:48):
time we used to go to work for the morning.
I was supposed to leave that early, but I have
to work that day, so I can't leave that early.
So right now, I mean, I'm I'm in the barge
of spending one sixty on the southwest flight from here
to show. It's like an hour and a half or
running a car. It's been in about one fifty five
in rental cars and gas, so it's kind of the
same thing.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
I don't know, it's not the same thing because that's
about six at least six hours with Thanksgiving traffic probably more.
You're right versus a solid it'll be our forty five
unless you know it'll learn, but you're chilling. You can
watch a movie, you can play poker.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
I love the airport too. I love I love being
at the airports.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
You know, we always got some food in there, you know,
get some airport food.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
It'll still be it will be six hours, it still
be about three or four hours. I'll get to the
airport probably like the flight's not till eight. I'll get
the airport right fo.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Yeah, but it's it's it's a casual like five hours,
you know, versus you being like this and you probably
trying to get in some tendencies that we try to
wean you off of in your younger days. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
And then the other thing too is I've been trained
for my last I don't know, six or seven flights.
I'm going on vacation to Florida. And I was like,
I'm not in the rental spaces. I'm not gonna on
a plane, not going to Florida.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Because that makes me said that is true, especially because
a lot of people probably doing that. JB. Perry and
the chat Twitch dot tv, Sushly Infinite score POD's good
suggestion makes put all the important stuff with your wife
and the kids, and then do I know, I don't
think Southwest has basic economy, but the cheapest you can do,
oh yeah, and then you just don't have to worry
about carry on. You can roll in the planet.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
At one of our one of our sports companies at
our job does that. He has a home in Florida
and a home here because he does Raven's coverage Forest
on the season. And since he has an apartment here
and a house down there, he just gets on the
plane with his book bag that that has his laptop
really carry with him. That's probably really nice, It's probably
that's actually a really good idea. But yeah, so I'll
probably break down by the flight next week because, like
(10:42):
you said, white knuckle in through the mixing bowl one
ninety five near the airport and the Pentagon is not
where I want to be.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, not the best move, you know.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
And then I know you're I know you're you're a
native Virginia night, but why does it take so long
drift through your state?
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Means Fredericksburg, baby, That'll that'll do it for you Fredericksburg
every day. Let me tell you. Your boys also like
going to Virginia Beach for Thanksgiving. I have to work
on Wednesday until ten. I'm bouncing out right at ten
and like, we got to If we get past Fredericksburg
and Stafford, we're good. If you listen to podcasts you're
in the DMV, you know it's those two cities that
clog up on ninety five.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
It's unbelievab. Then once you get into that, like the real, real,
real Virginia where it's like not know Richmond or Northern
Virginia and in between there and Virginia Beach, is like,
why is there so much land down here? Because for me,
it makes no sense. I'm sorry, I'm going a little
bit old man ran. It makes no sense that we
are a state away from New York and we're a
(11:43):
state away from North Carolina. But it takes six hours
of going North Carolina, but three hours in New York.
I don't understand that.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
That's called express things, baby, that's called build through the mountain.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Well, we need to blow something up and drift through.
It would be very cool. Draft through a mountain. We need,
we need to do it. I don't know, I don't know.
But that's my old man rant for today. Other than that,
but trying to catch up with some of the anime.
I kind of fell off one o the last couple
of weeks. I'm feeling at it because every time I'm
trying to start it, it's something that like my daughter
can't watch Walking Home Dad.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I've heard Dan Don Dan to Dan Don to Don
pretty good. I think it's on Netflix the list.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Yeah, but almost of them watching a lot of Blue lately,
because that's pretty much the only thing we can all
as a family agree to watch together because, I mean,
Bluey's awesome. I know it's a kids show, but god,
dang it, watch.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Some Blue started I don't feel if.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
You really do feel though, really it really makes you feel.
And then also, uh, what I did restart a mass effect?
Speaker 1 (12:44):
If I broke down, Well, we knew it was going
to happen. Why not Kevin like we said, and Drameda
just do that. I was thinking, it's like, maybe I'll
play and Drameda you know good, But to make the
ugliest character and put it in a helmet the entire time.
I am curious to see.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Actually, if I booted it up, I haven't played it
since shoot Lea was born, so I wonder if there
any updates that kind of smoothed out those graphics that
made it look kind of scary in a while. Maybe maybe,
but I remember going through andrama with Leah in the Swing,
So that's how long it's been. They played and Drama
and so when this podcast started, Wow, that's how long
(13:24):
it's been trauma a while. That's a long time. Also
to be pray to chat. Superstore is great. So I
don't know if it's your first watch, but keep keep up,
keep good.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
It gets good. It's real good.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
It's really good. I wish they got one more season
than they got, but they didn't. It's okay, they didn't
appreciate it. That's all I've been doing.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Well, let us say what you've been doing at Infinite
Underscore Pods with Kevin. Let's get into it. It is
time for the news first eggs. First, we have to
talk about some quick hitters before we get into our
main event. Because we said this was a fun podcast.
All these news stories are fun things. So we appreciate
(14:07):
that Stranger Things five that's coming out twenty twenty five,
and we now know what the episode titles will be.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Yeah, this was pretty cool. Now I'm like, shoot, don't
start we watching Trainer Things now?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yes, because today technically is Stranger Things Day when we're
recording this podcast when will Byers went missing in nineteen
eighty three, in case you were wondering, which is why
they celebrate it. And we have end seven day tomorrow
and yesterday was remember remember the fifth November.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
And seven days tomorrow. So I started a best BacT
offer at the right time. See I didn't mean to
do that.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah, well it is what it is. But fun thing
is the series premiere episode of Stranger Things was called
the Vanishing of Will Buyers turns Out, and these final
episode titles We're gonna get something alluding to that. Kevin,
what are the episode titles for season five?
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Episode one is the Crawl, the episode two is Vanishing
of Blank, Episode three is the Turnboat Trap, Episode four Sorcerer,
Episode five is shock Jock. Episode six Escaped from Chemazots.
Episode seven is a Bridge, and this is fun. The
last episode is called the Right Side.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Up, Upside Down, Right Side Up.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
That's really cool. I wonder if this shock Jock episode
has anything to do with with our profession, because that's interesting.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
I hope. So, like, here's the thing, So, like I
saw that episode, like, oh, they're gonna go to the
radio station. That'd be fun in the eighties, see what
it looks like.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, because the eighties nineties that was like the air today,
and that was the air of the shock Job.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
So I'm interesting if they pull that roma pop culture
into stranger things.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
I'm kind of excited about that one.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yeah, And obviously it doesn't tell us how long the
episodes are. You would assume the finale is gonna be
the longest one, especially since there was two and a
half hour long finale last year in which wow, oh yeah,
it was a chunky boy, A chunky boy. Hopefully, Netflix,
I mean, we didn't get too much efyo say it's
coming out in twenty twenty five. It says in the
(16:07):
fall of nineteen eighty seven, one Last Adventure begins, So
it takes place a year after the season four. So
what's happening? Does everyone noticing what's going on with the
upside Down or all? Or no? But I do think
Netflix can't release them in batches this time. I think
you gotta just release it. Hey, if you want to
do weekly, that's fine, you can't do two batches.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
I think you're right, But we've seen like the weekly
release work. It's working with Penguin, It worked with Agatha.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
It works with Love is Blind. As much as you
hate we hate Love is Blind, it works.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
So I don't know. I feel like maybe they'll they'll
do something that that won't be weekly, but it'll it'll
still be it won't be as bad as bad because
last time it was it was like the first four
last time in the last three ion.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Like it was like the first forward in May and
the back for or like July fourth weekend, I think,
So it was like a month turnaround but still like
more and I caught up because we waited a little
bit right before the second batch, and so I feel
like doing it weekly. You're if you're looking for how
we want to break Netflix. The Stranger Thing season finale
(17:19):
air December nineteenth. Everyone tune in and watch Netflix might crash,
which would be fun because you would think the Netflix
would never crash. Last time crackh was it was like
a loves Block union, wasn't it like a couple of years.
That was because the that was a technical difficulty. Mainly
Netflix didn't have the bandwidth to like run a livestream
(17:41):
show more than people were watching.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
But way I had I had the last season up
on Netflix. So fifth we just might have heard of
Netflix sound a second ago because Lost episode seven was
one hundred and one minutes, Episode eight was eighty seven minutes.
Episode now one hundred and forty Tuesday, they were all
movie length episodes. Yes, those last three crazy plus.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah, you make that last episode like we talked about
on Monday, Game of Thrones movie, Stranger Things movie, it's
two hours, fifteen minutes. You will have us locked in,
comes out on a Friday, enjoy it, talk about it
on Monday.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
You know, you know I would say this. I would
say maybe the last thing to do is to not
do it in batches, but release the first.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Not eight seven, and then the finale last ye last.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
One of the as as the Stranger Things movie, and
it's call it, you know, Stranger Things the Right side up.
Don't even call it episode nine.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
You know what I mean, Stranger Things movie. Do you
think if they do that, would you rather have like
it'd be week one, say like November one, all seven
and then November eighth is the movie? Or you think
three weeks later here's the last episode movie.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Depending on when they released it. The last time was
around July fourth.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Wasn't it. Yeah, the last batch. Yeah, so I would release.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
It maybe three weeks before July fourth, and then that
weekend where everybody's home again and of from work. That's
we released the last one that will get that boom
in number.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
And you think Netflix expensive, now, just you wait when
they announced the date for when this actually comes out,
There'll be a price hike, don't you hurry.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
And that's the other thing too, They've actually done pretty
well since the whole crackdown and sharing crackdown. People will
sign back up just for this show. Yeah, and again
be a dirty businessman. I'm like, no, no, no, no
free week, you pay now.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
I think the other thing is too if like if
you somehow skirted the Netflix crackdown like more and I did. Like,
if we use her lap, we use either of our
laptops and we can watch Netflix, fine, but if we
go on our phone or we go on Xbox because
we use a Skellies this account, but we have a profile,
we can't use it. So I bet Netflix will crack
down on those loopholes even more to be like, you
(19:44):
got paid for it, you want it, you can give
me that money, give it a money, give me my money,
but Kevin something that we will be giving our money too.
Nintendo Switch To isn't gonna be announced this year officially
recording Nintendo, but it will officially be backwards compatible with
(20:06):
original Switch games. Thank God. Say this because I don't
really read the whole ruse the headline.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
It's kind of it's a story. Maybe if I'm buying
hard copy Switch games, can I put them in the
switch to or just saying that if I have a
digital game, I can just download question.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
I'm assuming, I mean the way they're phrasing it, I'm
assuming the same SD discard, tride, whatever will be usable.
It's kind of like I think when the DS for
I don't know. I don't know if it's gonna be
like how the DS first came out and there was
the Game Boy Advance cartridge in the bottom and then
you still have the DS games could go on top.
I doubt it's gonna be that. I think it's just
(20:49):
the same SD card. Maybe it is just this is
a like Nintendo Switch two games are better SD card
and read faster and all that good stuff. But I
think that's great. I think Nintendo for the longest time
has had that like cut off of like, oh you
can't like look though, I just said the DS you
could play game Boy Advance games, but it was I
think the new Nintendo DS they got rid of that
(21:12):
for like more screen room, and you're like, oh, I
want to play. That's how you transferred like Pokemon from
Pokemon Emerald, like Diamond and Pearl, And eventually the same
thing happened with the three DS, where like, oh nope,
just three D three, three D S and two D
S is just the three DS cartridges. But now I
think they're smart in doing this because yeah, I mean
I want to play with games even if I can't
(21:34):
buy new games.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
It's really smart because it's des My main issue with
Xbox and Sony is that, like, especially now.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
It's just a file, I should be able to play.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
I feel like I should be able to put in
my infamous disc into my PS five.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
People.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
I've recognized that that I actually own this game, I
can download a file like that.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I think it's so stupid. Yeah, I think like PS three.
I think the PS three it was like one I
don't know which dish. I think it was the fat Boy.
PS three was the last one that could play all
the other PlayStation disc. As far as I remember Xbox
three sixty, you remember it was like, oh yeah, you
(22:14):
could play certain Xbox games, and then obviously Xbox one
it's gone digital and you could still kind of play
a couple Xbox games, but they look at real off,
we don't really want to play those games.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Toy thirty four.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
But I think that you can see a favorite game
on game Pass. But yeah that too, and yeah it's
probably on game Pass too, But I think, yeah, this
is smart. I think for like me, as childless dink,
dual income, no kid, great because now I'm just gonna
hear it, take my system, transfer the stuff over at GameStop,
give me the new system. And for you, you guys,
(22:49):
can buy the games that are cheaper. If you're a
family that are for the switch. And if you do
get a switch to eventually probably will uh, you can
still get the older games for cheap.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Honestly, the switch is turned to my to my wife's
device and not not that's okay, play places more than
she does.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Now what is she playing? What is Alicia playing on
the switch? She had this Mario game?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I can't remember the game is called, though it's not
a Mario's it's a Disney game, like a Mickey Mouse game.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Oh, Dreamlight Valley. Yes, it's SIMS, but Disney is that.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
And there's another that's another Mickey Mouse platform.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
When she's playing like it's like as to get Animal Crossing,
I think you're gonna lose her if you get a
Animal Crossing.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
That's what I want. I want her to play Animal
cross get losses, and I can play my PlayStation.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
We can just be a big old video game game.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
I'm playing PlayStation, she's playing Animal Crossing. One's playing Robots
and and play. We're all happy.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
They're all happy. Everyone's happy. That's why I have a
perfect family. Cats down here enjoying the room to itself,
dogs with us, and just have it.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
That dog has a tennis ball. He's just having We're
just we're just. My sister's in her room playing Nextbox.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
We're all good, all good. We can all connect if
we wanted to, we all play dream Light Valley together.
Make sure she, by the way, if she is playing
Dreamland Valley, make sure she gets that the Evil Queen Outfit,
which was a Halloween exclusive. I think it is free,
but I think it ends this week. So if she
wants that outfit. There you go, I will. I saw
(24:13):
that on TikTok Baby Disney said, hey, you like video
games like I played this game. I'm not playing again,
but speaking of games, we've played and we'll be playing
again in the near future. Hogwarts Legacy sequel. Yeah, that's
officially happening. And it turns out it's going to tie
into the Harry Potter TV show.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
That's interesting. I did to get you know what, I didn't.
I thought about this when I was in my game home.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
You should have. It's too late. Now you've already committed
to a game made a new Shepherd.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Yep, I got about what one hundred and fifty hours
a game play ahead of me games.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
But in case he makes it, Hogwarts Legacy I think
came out well, I had to be like twenty twenty one.
I think twenty twenty, twenty twenty three, good lord, really well,
really all right, twenty twenty three. Yeah, wow, that's only
been all right, So it's only been a year really
for that game to be out crazy, which is wild. Obviously,
there was no real deal c for the game. There
(25:12):
was a couple of like side missions that were exclusive
more than anything, but I mean the game made over
a billion dollars in sales according to Warner Brothers. But
that was back in May, with over fifteen million million
units sold, so obviously get a sequel. I mean when
the game first came out, I was seeing people that
have never seen play video games were like, I got
Hogwarts Legacy. It's the Pokemon Harry Potter effect. When you
(25:34):
got some I mean, look Pokemon TCG pockets. Also, example,
you got the like you got the license on it.
People are gonna play, you know this versus a dragon
Age Veil Guard. Sure, dragon Age Veil Guard might be
better looking and better gameplay, but Harry Potter is gonna
sell more than Dragon Age.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
A cousin who has he played video games live when
he was younger, like a kid, like you know, six
seven years old, but he stop playings. He grew up
and he literally bought a PS five. It's been five
he my PS five and and Hogwarts like that's for Hogwarts.
That's the only reason he bought.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
That only game he owns Now, I might go back.
Here's the thing, because I played like maybe like ten
hours of it, and then other games came out, and
so I got distracted. I think it. Jedi Survivor came
out around the same time, so I was like, yeah,
Star Wars obviously, but I think this is a good game,
Like if you kind of lap play it again, you know,
it's got some Christmas stuff, got some holiday stuff, and
there's Harry Potter watching the holiday as we're Halloween. But
(26:26):
according to Variety, the Warner Bros. Interactive is is trying
to have Hogwarts Legacy two not only line up with
the TV show coming out, which makes sense TV show
probably coming out twenty twenty seven, twenty twenty eight, five
years for a sequel that Hogwarts Legacy two will be
set in the far future enough that I could tee
(26:46):
up things that happen in the TV show.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Same because I mean the show is based on the books,
so is a team at the books essentially.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
I think what it's gonna be is it really like
because in the in the first game, Peeves isn't it
and Peeves is a big character, not big character, but
a character in the books that theydn't really make it
to the movies. I think that is like, hey, here
are these tiny things that weren't in the movies that
we're gonna put it in the TV show obviously the
flush it out, but you can experience what they're gonna
(27:16):
look like. You know, like if this game set five
years before, so it's in the eighties, nineteen eighties before
the nineties. Fun fact, Harry Park takes place in the nineties.
There's why they don't have cell phones. But I think
doing something like that could be good. Maybe it is,
you know, like it could be the parents. I mean,
maybe it is, like here's this, Oh that would be
(27:39):
cool if you actually, yeah, that would be cool.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
I like that, that'd be really really cool.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
But maybe I don't know how it'll work, but like,
maybe it is. They're just side characters of like, all right,
here is Snape because in this game, you had you
pretty much with friends with multiple people in different houses.
They're like, oh, you're sorted in, and like I would
be helpflepuff. I would have no friends, you know, so
it be like, all right, so I got a friend
James and Lily over here, I kind of friends Severest
(28:05):
two at the same time to get my potions going.
You know.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
It's funny because my main issue, because I actually did't
want to play this game when it came out. But
I was afraid because I'm always a raven call every
time I do the potomore thing. I don't know nothing
about raven Claw. They weren't really in the movies. You
could learn books, you could learn. I'm afraid of I
was gonna be like, what the heck is going on?
I don't understand what's happening.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Well, I think the cool thing is too is like
as a Hufflepuff, you know, uh, and for you like
are like throws. Houses didn't get a lot of shine
in the movies. So like me seeing what you know,
the Hufflepuff common room looks like, I'm like, oh, that's
really dope. I know what this looks like and where
it is in Hogwarts now it's not real whatever, But
(28:49):
I think the same thing for you as a raven Claw, Like,
I think that game did really good of like, even
if you're not Gryffindor and Slytherin, you're still getting the
whole experience to a degree.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
I'm going to ask to this about because you only
pay ten hours. I watched a few games, a lot
of game wodeos on TikTok on this game how game
Bricky is the advocate?
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Ever, so I didn't get to that part yet. That's
where I kind of ended because I like was like, oh,
do that mission, Like I'm not ready for that. But
it's not really game breaky. It's more of a if
you set combat to easy mode, you know, like instead
of you having to like duck and dive and wait
for someone to pop up as all right, cool, let's
move on clear the area like you play on easy
(29:29):
mode essentially. Yeah, like, and so I think obviously you
will probably do the same mechanics. Hopefully it won't lock
those spells behind certain missions and stuff like that. But yeah, maybe,
I mean could be Baltimore thing too, which could be cool.
I mean, there's a lot of things that could do
with it, and it will probably sell well too, regardless.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
I just hope that it is a full effort sequel
and not just like you know, like I hope it's
a kind of like a DTA four. Did You Take
five Time?
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Was great? Yeah, I mean really because you were in
Hogg's Meet and then you like the game started in
Diagon Alley, but it was a cutscene obviously, add that,
I think you explored all around Hogwarts, which is cool,
and I think obviously maybe add diagon Alley an easiest
thing ad Quidditch as a mini game. I know you
(30:22):
have the Quidditch Champions game, but no one really played
that a lot or we got excited about it because
you know, it looked like a double A game versus
triple A game. Do it in that perfect Yeah, it's like,
all right, cool, these are the side missions you get
quidditch to it. I'll play it. You know, it's just
take that team. Hey, here, make our missions on this
game and just have WB You know you're doing the
(30:45):
Wonder Woman game somewhere Monolith is so that's probably coming
out two years, and then Hogwarts is the next one,
and then money money right there. I didn't mention it.
Do J P.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Perry and a chat if you want to look for
something to do on the weekend. Sometimes hood if a
hoodie of boards out of town. They do have live
in person kiddle if you can.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Join, could or I could just play quiddage on the
game that comes out in twenty eight.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
You can be you can be the I can't remember.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Stitch position is great, snitches get stitchy, the keeper, the keeper,
thank you, no, the chaser quaffler. I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
I'm ritch with one of those three, and I wouldn't
know that. The secret that's what it is. That's what
the speak the secret seekert got you. You can be
a seeker, Yeah, you be a secret.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
There you go, but that's coming out. Sorry, I'm very
coffee today. Sorry about that. Too much dog here, But uh,
those are our news stories for today. But that leads
us to something fun, Kevin. You know, we said, hey,
we don't have a lot of news stories. Let's be
late in fun today. Let's talk about things we love
to talk about on this podcast. It's time to make
(31:53):
the ultimate tier ranking of Disney World and Universal Studio
Orlando Rides. Are you ready, buddy, Let's do it because
you know, we things all the time.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
We secretly want to be a theme park podcast podcast,
but we don't have the contact yet.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
But this could be the contact maker. So let's I'm
gonna use this sound effect because it makes fitting. Let's
break down all the right not break them, but break
them down. Yeah. Uh so if you are watching the
YouTube version of the podcast, uh YouTube dot com sash
if and on the score pods, you'll see the actual
tier thing. I didn't tell Kevin because it's exclusive, so
(32:31):
if you want to see what they look like, go
to YouTube. But uh, we have a pretty much an
S tier and a t R B tier, C tier,
D tier, H, E, and F no don't count. So
what we're pretty much ranking is every ride that's currently
a Disney World, which includes Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios,
which is what's called right now in epcot Typhoon Lagoon.
(32:55):
I don't think it's counting because and if it is,
we're not handing this because I uh, and then Universal
Studios Orlando rides, and those parks right now as of
this date will be Islands of a Venture and mainly
Universal Studios the main park right there.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
Yeah, and getting Avolcano Bacas again Water Slaves.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
To get it ye Splash and Epic Universe isn't open,
so that obviously we can ring those. Uh So Kevin
and I are gonna one by one pick a ride,
we'll talk about see where it goes until we see,
you know, can we make the ultimate list? Now? This
is it to say, is this park truly better than
this park? Is which rides are better than some of
the other rides that they're going up against in Orlando?
Speaker 2 (33:36):
The park which park is better is irrelevant because it
kind of depends on where you are in life. I'm
not calling this but because if you're at Dink like Hoodie,
have a universal, you've got two little.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Girls like me, I imagin king, it doesn't matter, doesn't matter.
Everybody is different exactly. So Kevin, I'll let you go
with the first pick in the theme park draft. Which
ride would you like to talk about first?
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (34:01):
See here, I think the first ride i'll talk about.
Let's go with like a base tier, like what is
our B slash C tier that we're like, all right, yeah,
that's in the middle.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
I say, because people love it. I'll say that. I'll
see here the people move her.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Now, where the hell is it on this list? Is
gonna be the first question? All right, Kevin, you know
what you're We're just gonna go on order. You're just
gonna these rides that are in this first list to
make it easier.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
Uh, let's see Dumble the Flying Elephant. I will put
that in the sea tier.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Okay, Okay, Dumble.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
The Flying Elephant is what I call the ride of
passage ride for a lot of dads with daughters.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
Even it's a starter ride.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
You get into thing and it has a little NAIs
on there and you can control it go up, you
can go down, just goes in the circle. And my
daughter loved it when she was well. First time, you
want know, she was one, I had to wake up
from nap pupil.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
She did not enjoy that time. The second time win though, she.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Did really enjoy it. And then the best part about
this ride actually for me is the Q is actually
an indoor playground.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Yes now it is, which is great because if you're like, hey,
you go play, I will wait in line have fun.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
So you go in there. There's seating forty adults and
it's cool in there if you go do them sometimes
it's pretty cool in there. And then they'll call you when.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
It's ready and then you go get on your rest there,
you know. So I'll stop with Double Final. All right. Well, well,
since we're talking about that ride, let's also put pretty
much right there because it's the same ride. It's just
high up astro Orbiter, which it's always broken whenever your
boy gets to go. It's essentially the same ride. You're
here in Tomorrowland. It's space spacey. I think you only
(35:40):
put one person per thing, which is why it always
takes forever to get on the ride because it's a
limited capacity. So i'll put it below Doumbo seat tier. Still,
it's essentially the same ride.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
But I will say when I wrote that last time,
pretty sketchy, you're pretty up there, you're pretty high, so
like it is little that's that's the appeal.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
But it's the same, right all right, So, Kevin, we've
done two Disney rides. Let's add a universal ride here.
I'm gonna put the Simpsons ride in. I'm gonna add
it in right now. Here's the thing. I'm gonna put
it c as well because the ride can make you sick.
It's not the best ride, but the theming is on point,
(36:21):
and it has plays Simpsons episodes while you're waiting in life.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
There's that. There's also, like, like you said, the theming
is great, the whole area is great. The ride is
it's the same rot system as back in the future.
It's a different movie so to speak, is playing. But
said the atmosphere, the atmosphere is pretty great. They did
a great job with that perfect Let's see, I'm gonna
add one as well. I'll add this one. This will
(36:45):
be d tier. But it's funny how you get people
to go on it?
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Et the adventure, Et the adventure? Are you gonna put
it out a D tier own? Et over there?
Speaker 2 (36:55):
I can move it to see if you do the
same thing that we do with our family. We always
if you have somebody new come ups at the Universal
somehow great.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
This and then that tomorrow just for that. Actually, all right,
we'll put at sea. We'll move some things around if
she's getting a little too stacked. Honestly, right here this
is how we definitively set up what the D tier is.
Race through New York Storry Jimmy Fallon is a horrible ride.
(37:27):
It is not a ride. It's the show. It's three
D and it's essentially the Simpsons ride without the fun.
It's got the theming, but there's no motion at all.
You're just sitting in a big old theater.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
And we'll also add to that on Fast and in Furious,
because that that's just.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Now.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Can I find that one, Kevin? I would help, that's fine,
it's fine, it's fine.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Looking for it, yes, now, Kevin, Fast and Furious or
Race through New York over Who's Who's over?
Speaker 2 (37:56):
I'll put race to New York over just because to me,
Fallon is delightful.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
And the line's fun. You're like waiting to go on
to the night show and then all of a sudden, Oh,
it's just a theater, all right, love it all right? Uh,
we will add this. JB. Perry did say we should add.
I just have to find out where it is. Uh.
It is the the Flying Carpets ride, the Aladdin ride.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Oh yeah, the Dumble Dumbo three.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
Dumbo three, which will I think, honestly, I think could
go D tier if you want it, because it's the
same that nobody writes. Oh, I've never I've never ridden it,
so it's it's up to you, Kevin, don't where you
want to put it.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
I've actually never read it either, because I'm like, I
think Dumble's this is more magical. Because the other thing is,
whenever you see a Disney World commercial, they show Dumbled.
Don't magic Carpets because it's DUMBLEO. We know it's Dumbo.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Oh I found it, all right, So we're putting it
C tier. Put a d T if you want d tier,
I'll put it above Raster New York. What road did
you find out?
Speaker 2 (38:52):
It is?
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Like the fourth row. I don't know. You gotta like, really,
the colors do not match what's going on with this drinking.
And that's okay, Okay, cool, that's fun. All Right, let's go.
I'm gonna we're just gonna. I'm gonna go through some
of these and chanted tales with Bell can go D tier.
That's not really a ride. That doesn't count.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Just meet Bell, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Yeah, I'm gonna already put Swiss Family Treehouse. Ain't nobody
going into that. That is a D T I'm gonna put.
If we're talking Rydes Liberty Square, Riverboat, that could go details.
We're just we're quickly adding the D tier obvious ones
because they are what they are. Country Bear Jambourree. Now
see that's a debatable. I'll put it high on the
(39:35):
D tier though, hid it's a high D right there.
Anything else, Kevin, that's an obvious D.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Here's one that's interesting because everybody has that flings about
the mission space.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
I would put that seats here. Okay, I think that's
a good seat here, right. I think obviously we ride
the baby one, you getting nothing. If you're riding that
adult one. It is rough, especially if you just ate.
They have the vomit bags in the ride for a reason, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
That's one of those. Like everybody, it's kind of like
the reverse of ET is not that bad.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Come on, you're fine, don't worry about I will put
Tomorrowland Speedway. I personally would put it C because I
have a connection. That was like one of the first
rides I rode a Disney World. But Kevin, where would
you put Tomorrow L and Speedway AK where you get
the car but you're on rails the whole time? Low
(40:33):
B in the during the day, Low B at night?
All right, So now okay, see for now top of Seed.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
We'll do that B night because that night it's really
cool to see all this stuff in Disney World that
that's lights up like that. It's actually a pretty fun
ride in here.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
We have Canada Far and Wide Circle Vision and Reflections
of China. Those are just the Epcot shows though those
are going in DT immediately. Yeah, but Kevin, you picked
the next one? Which one you want to talk about? Uh,
let's talk about.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Pirates of the Caribbee.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
Now that's definitely an A tier. I think definitely an
A tier.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
At least it's an A tier now because because they've
basically redone it because of the movies. But I wanted
to still be e tier and they're still run of
the same stuff from the from the seventies.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
I think it would probably be a seat tier if
it didn't update it for the movies. I think it's
skipped two because like it's a classic ride. It got
all the stuff from the movie. Jack Sparrow's in at
the end, and then like and now.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
As soon as you pass like the thing, you just
don't see it there like ship, you see Barbosa, they're
playing the theme. It just gets you right into it.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
And then now if we're talking about this, we're talking
about the Shanghai Disney one, which even takes it up
to an even higher level that's tier. But we're talking
about Disney Worlds one, so we we we.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
Have been robbed because I feel like they should shut
that down and put that in PUTU.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
I'm like, come on, then they get it right now now, Kevin,
I'm gonna add some Universal here cat and a hat.
I'm gonna put that top of D. We can put
the entire kids park in Universal in D because it's terrible.
We'll talk about the Shoue's landing area. So here's the
(42:26):
thing that ride blew up because of the TikTok where
people are scared. I rode that when I was in
Universal two months ago, and if you were high on
that ride, my god, would you like it would be
the time of your life, but it would be scary
at the same time, you're pretty up there, You're pretty like,
what the hell's going on? Speaking of Universal storm force acceleration.
(42:49):
Also is a D tier. I rode that two months ago.
That ride was thirty seconds and was teacups, but not
without the chart, which we'll talk about right now because
we're on the teacup sections of everything. Mad Tea Party, Kevin,
where are you putting that at? It's a solid, solid, solid,
low B solid B is I think that is your Like,
(43:12):
that's a quintessential ride, you know it's it's a little bit. Yeah,
you want to ride it over Dumbo, but if you
miss it, that's okay.
Speaker 2 (43:19):
So here here's here's another one from Disney that I
think is s tier, But I know you're gonna argue
with me that it's not Carousel progress.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
I love that ride, so s tier. I don't know
about that now. Kevin, where is it Realistically?
Speaker 2 (43:33):
This is at the bottom. I would nextal top of crush.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Okay, yeah, sure think you can. I don't. He's all that.
I would put it a ce tier realistically like it
is a it is a like it is with a
Tomorrow l where it's one of those original things that's
been there that you want to take a twenty minute
solid nap. It's got a good song, but hey, it's
a nap time.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
And also if you're if you're going in the in
the hot months, you're out, we're going in that cool
air hits you and it's like just a half an
hour among some lean back.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
Uh Now, Kevin, let's go with the mom Ride. Everyone
knows this is the Mom Ride, soaring around the world.
My mom loves it. You know. At the time, it
was great when it first came out, it was one
of the most popular rides that I've caught in California.
You know Sword Sword Tower. You know Patrick Warburton is
the announcer on the ride. Where would you put soord
(44:27):
now in twenty twenty four, Kevin, I.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Would love I'll put on it egg Honestly, I think
I think it's time I can be pretrayed to a bee,
but I don't think we have a betire ride yet.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
We have a mad Tea party is our b right party?
Speaker 2 (44:39):
Yeah, I mean I can, I can betrayed to be,
but I think soord is still great. I'll put out
put well.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Because I feel like once we add some of these things,
we're like, Okay, that's is obvious, it's not there. Because
I'm gonna tell you right now, Transformers the ride is
it is a bet here. I think I think trans good.
And now here's the rot system as Spider Man, yes,
which we're gonna talk about right now, because I think
(45:07):
that stay tier in Transformers is the be tier.
Speaker 2 (45:10):
I agree because there's that part of Spider Man where
like you're falling off the building and you feel the webcatchers.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
And then fire shoots out. You're like, oh my god,
what the hell?
Speaker 2 (45:19):
And then Transformers again kind of something. It's the theming
you're at. You're at quote unquote Nest headquarters, you see
score docks tail when you go, when you see a
piece of the all spark. So I agree with that
Transformers be spider Man A definitely.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
No where spider Man. Show me Spider Man, Give me Kid.
These rankings are so I just see it and I'm like,
I don't know, Yeah, I oh, I found it. Okay,
amazing Adventures of Spider Man. That's where we're going on.
Perfect all right, love it perfect now, Kevin, let's uh
where we're going. Okay, my rankings mess it up? There
(45:51):
we go. I gotta get in the frame and there
have you caught up? Now you're good? Good? All right? Cool?
So Kevin, let's go with a class. It's a small world.
It's on the second row.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
Let's I mean, that's indeed to me, that song that
songs bores you. It's like a virus.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
I think if you're like if Eat Adventure is, it's
a small world. Like they're the same, kind of like FIBs.
I think to put it near each I think the
rankings of where they're at and the rankings, it doesn't
really matter right now, but I really think it's a
small world. Is Hey, if there's no line, let's do it.
You know, it's time. The water smells like boring. You
(46:31):
know that's that fun. The water smells like boring because
he's boring in the water. It is what it is. Yeah,
it is.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
Definitely like after like I'm gonna say the third scene,
that's like, all right to get it, gonna.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Get off, key Box, get off, get what you put in?
All right now, Kevin, let's probably pick up the pace here.
Episodes already a lot longer than I thought. Uh, let's go,
let's go with the Granddaddy right now, Star Wars Rise
the Resistance.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
That's tier.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
That's tier. That is the prime example of s tier
for Disney World right now.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
That that that ride system is a revolutionary because it's
trackless and it's.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Like the I think is it the first one? Yeah,
I think it's the first one.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
It's this one. Then they did the Mickey Mini Runaway
real right, and then it's no, no, no, no, the
track was ride right of two wee yes, those are
the three trackless rides, and it's it's flawless, like it
works so well.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
And if you get Kylo Ren on a good day,
you're on. You got a the a show you're going
to go. It is funny because brother John and I
when we went mark like when the Disney obsession came
real in Hoodie's Life, we wrote it. I think it
was like the last time they used having the shooting
turrets moved back and forth, and they've never mold after then.
But I'm like, I'm just glad I got the experience
to fool right like that at least once. Yeah, I
(47:53):
would say name they didn't do that. I got to
see it now, Kevin Walt Disney Presents. That's just the
show for stuff that's going to.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
I'm not here for shows, here for adventure.
Speaker 1 (48:07):
Uh now, Tiki room enchanted Tiki Room? Where would you
put that? I've actually never been to the me neither,
so d t it is. We should have not ridden
the line. But it's okay, it's gonna go.
Speaker 2 (48:20):
That's another thing that was like people were obsessed with,
like the Polynesian culture in the sixties and seventies, and.
Speaker 1 (48:25):
I was just like, well, animatronic birds, Wow, wow, Kevin,
where would you put It's called Prince Charming Regal Carousel.
It's the carousel and Disney World. Where would you put
that at?
Speaker 2 (48:39):
That's another kind of like Dumbo.
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Yeah, I think it's a it's a cute ride. If
you know you're looking just to have some fun Disney charm,
that's what you ride. But you're not getting much out
of it. Besides, it's a carousel.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
And if you're if you're going to Disney, you don't
have kids, you'll be amazed at the stroller parking.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
It's just strollers, like all right, or you pull the
sword in the stone. That's also right there up now,
Kevin American Adventure that I don't even know what that
go d tier, you know what that is? I just thought, Kevin,
let's talk about universal side of things. Despicable me Minion Mayhem.
It took over the nick Toons ride, that's what It's
(49:17):
essentially a show. Where would you ride? Add that as
you are a father, I'm in.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
That same fame effect to me as a uh it's
a small world at about ten minutes millions, very grating
on me, so I will I will go see all
right for me?
Speaker 1 (49:34):
Now, have you ridden the other Minion ride? Which one
is that villain con Minion Blast? All right, well that's
gonna go d tier because it's barely a ride. It's
more of a shooting arcade that's like two minutes, like, oh,
that's over, okay. At least menu Mayhem. You get a
little dance party. And there's there's theming in both the rides.
(49:54):
But do you care about the villains from Dispicable Me
or do you care about grew when everybody going on? Yeah,
I feel like.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
The minions are you know, Universal's animated fast and inferiors.
Not a lot of substance there, but it pays bills.
Speaker 1 (50:12):
It's good true U Now, Kevin, the Haunted Mansion, where
would you add that? I think that's an a tier.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
That's a a tier.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Yeah, I love, oh man love.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
And then the first time I wrote that, actually I
was actually kind of like, this is really scary. It's like, no,
it's Disney.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Calm down. Sorry I didn't know. Sorry, Sorry if I yeah,
I think that rides that's got everything. That's a quintessential Disney,
right like Pirates. I guess what ride do you want
to add in?
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Kevin, let's add and it's called you on the Universal Ride?
I ride I haven't written, unfortunately, but Velosa Coaster Veloca Coaster.
Speaker 1 (50:51):
Now, that is an as tier, Kevin. It looks es tier.
I haven't even been on it yet. I hopefully I
can ride it. Maybe.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
I don't know if we're going on I don't. I
think we're just doing Disney. I think we don't.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
University and Marshall we go hopefully if we do, hope
we get to ride it then but it looks like
a yeah, like amazing. Look, if you're gonna compare, like
what is Disney World or Hollywood Studios versus Islands of
Adventures quittessential rides, those are the two rides you have
to ride. Vlascos is different than Rise of Resistance. But
(51:21):
if you want to go fast and like I felt,
waitless and a larger man, uh like that right's doing
some good stuff. Then yeah, there's a part of that
ride we were upside down for like three seconds. Amazing.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
That's amazing.
Speaker 1 (51:34):
Now this is a good comparison sort of. No, maybe
not Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket, which was quite essentially the
roller coaster ride at Disney, but you know it's kind
of been a little dated now, you know, sometimes it's
closed a lot. So I think we're gonna I'm gonna
(51:55):
put that a be tier. I think that's a good
be tier right now in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (52:00):
I think that's a good place for it. Again, we're
talking about like the age of the rides too, So yeah,
I think it's a good.
Speaker 1 (52:04):
Place for it. Now. If you're going to compare what
would be well, this one's debatable Slinky Dog Dash, which
is the modern version of that. I would get an
st Honestly, I would too, because my mom loves that ride.
More said she hated it, but I know she loved
that ride, and my grandpa loved that ride. So those
are three people I knew don't like rides like the ride.
Speaker 2 (52:26):
I mean, my daughter had her heart ripped out of it,
but I think she'll ride it again we go because
she'll be a little.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
Older now, and Kevin has the photos still, so that's lovely.
Like when I say she did she did that cry
where there was no sound coming out. It was just
let me tell you more. I also had the same reaction. Yeah,
I oh sorry, yeah rip right, yeah, perfect, all right,
(52:53):
I said, Disney sorry, rip ride. Rocket is the universal ride.
But that is a beat here, I think for sure.
So same logic applies because I'm put narrow Smith right
next to it, so it's the same thing. That's sorry.
I know they're different, but they sound the same for
some reason. It's closed and soon, by the way, I
think it's closing it potentially. The rumor is it is,
but they aren't going to confirm it because you know
(53:14):
it's the same thing of is Muppet Muppet Land going
away in Hollywood Stuios. They're gonna tell you the last minute, Kevin,
have you written Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind again?
Speaker 2 (53:24):
I have not written it, but I know that's that's right.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
That isn't right.
Speaker 2 (53:28):
You told me, My nephew told me, and I remember
my nephew wrote it. He called when he got off it.
I was like, get off my phone because I'm just
upset that I couldn't go.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
I think the funniest thing was I told Morrow, yeah,
this is a fun ride, and she convinced herself this.
She likes roller coasters. Now Universal Health with that a lot.
But when she didn't, it's like, you got to it's Guardians.
We love Guardians. They play music in it. It's tame,
it's smooth the whole time. But I feel like it
(53:59):
is extreme, but the music kind of brings it extremes.
Speaker 2 (54:03):
Tends that song again, you know, Kevin, you pick a
right now, avatar fin a passage, that's that's gotta be
an stier.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
I haven't written that right, so I'm gonna trust you
on that. And now wait, now we talk at that
one or the Navi River Rapids or whatever.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
Rapids is okay, but final patches the one you actually
ride your own I don't know what they call a
dragon exactly all right, and you actually get you get
on the ride mechanic, you can feel the thing breathing
between your legs. It's amazing. It's like more a more
extreme story. Basically, yeah, I like it.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
Well, let's let's talk about we talked about that ride,
Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run. I think that's an eight tier ride.
I think it was tier when it came out before
Rise Resistance came out exactly. I think the coolest thing
about that ride one you don't realize there's like ten
pods that put you in a Millennium Falcon, which was
the coolest thing to learn about. But also like Hondo
(54:57):
a nakas in it, it is like you see the
thing alc and I think that adds the appeal. If
you're an adult or don't pay attention, you think you
actually entered the falcon, but you're like, how did we
enter that? That was like two feet tall? It didn't
make any sense when you cut that corner and in.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
The Disneyland diy World into that Falcon you just, oh God,
so good, so.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
Good, now, Kevin, a ride that I think debatedly could
be an A tier, incredible hulk still standing in the
test of time, you know, and I won't put that
s here. Honestly, I think that's still a great ride.
Now here's the thing. Maura enjoyed that ride. So that
was the ride where she was like, I've turned on
roller coasters and like them now, so that's a It's
(55:40):
a very smooth ride too, because there's a lot of
invergens and they've updated it, you know. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
And also the fact that that ride operates on a
power station independent of the park, which is ridiculous, so
much power it requires. Yeah, that's the engineering thing that
I just like the nerd out about honestly.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
Now, Kevin, you can do this on your back end.
I'm just gonna ad all the shows to the D
tier because they're the same thing. More sect Tackler is cool,
but ay, right, I should be on this list, Kevin.
I'm gonna go tri Siah. I'm gonna add some of
these rides that, like Tricera Top Spin, I think is
a D tier. That's why they're getting rid of it.
You know, like if you're talking to all those dinal
(56:18):
rides at animal needs to go, Yeah, like I will
give dinosaur. We can put dinosaur in C tier. You
know that was okay, it's using the Indiana Jones track system.
Speaker 2 (56:28):
But we just give the Indiana Jones.
Speaker 1 (56:31):
You can do that too as well. Kevin, you pick
a people mover? Where did we have people move her at?
We had at C right, see, okay, perfect, that is
a quintessential. That's a chill ride. But you're gonna enjoy
one of one of my.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
Favorite rides that I love to ride every time I
go to to test track.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
That's track. Now, we don't know what it's gonna be. No,
I would say it's an A tier.
Speaker 2 (56:58):
The last iteration I would say as well, m hmm,
it's it's a it's a very it's long. It's always
a long, a long wait for that ride because it's
one of the before Guardian is one of the more
other extreme rides. But once you get into that, your
actual car quote unquote mate this it's a fun time.
Speaker 1 (57:14):
Yeah, it's a fun time. All right. We heded that.
Now let's go to I think is misleading time Skull
Island Rate of Kong. It's essentially fast and furious. But
instead of TV screen, well there are TV screen. There's
a giant King Kong at the end. I'm gonna put
that DT's be just because of the giant Kong.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
B be.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Amazing in the middle. C there that giant Kong is.
It's something to be whole when you get right. It's true. Uh.
Second in Universal Revenge of the Mummy, it's been updated.
Brendan Frage is still on B. That's a strong B.
It's almost today. But I think you're right like rip
ride Rocket, how we're talking rock and roller coaster. They're
(57:58):
right round, right round where they should be. That's yeah, yeah,
I like that. All right now, Kevin, you picked the
next one. Let's see next one. Let's go let's go
classic again. Good old space, mountain space. That's a that's
an a tier baby. That is the that still has
oldest riding the bark longest line quote a wrestler.
Speaker 2 (58:19):
You know you're only going you're only going twenty miles
an now, but I feel like you're falling through.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
Space and you feel like you put your hands up
there and get chopped off exactly the railroad whise that's
not right. That's just a railroad. Doctor Doom's fearful. I've
put that. See, I think it's okay. Fall Tower is
always fun, but the last two seconds, yeah, yeah, I
(58:44):
picked the stunt. Tackler is not a ride. Who put
that in there?
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Now?
Speaker 1 (58:47):
Tower of terror tower terms experience, I put that a
tier too, because that's the fun and you're you're in
there just to get the show. And there's that movie
that still isn't on Disney plus still isn't there yet?
What else you got, Kevin? What do you want to
add in.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
Ulyssa, I'll be talking about earlier Mickey and Millions on
a runaway railway.
Speaker 1 (59:08):
I think that's a strong b orline A. Yeah, I
do think like it's fun. But you're like, I'd rather,
you know, do ratitue I'd rather do resistance. Thus, let's
add ratituey to t A exactly what I think. Ratitudey
might be shorter, but I think the smells is just
a fun time and you're just like, oh, make sure
(59:30):
you smell everything because you're gonna enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (59:33):
Photo was a Mickey and Mini must if we love them,
they're very old characters.
Speaker 1 (59:38):
Well, let me tell you those modern Mickey and Mini
cartoons that don't exist anymore that we're playing at Disney
the past five years. They had their way with Mickey.
They were like, we're doing fun things that normally wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
That.
Speaker 1 (59:53):
Kevin living with the land, now that's a that's an A.
I think we're talking here. You sell the progress. We're
talking people. Mover, it's a seat heer, buddy. Let's be honest.
That does a relaxing ride. You've learned, you learned, Okay,
(01:00:14):
all right, you picked the next one. Now, Hall of
Presidents is also Hall of Presidents is d tiered. Especially
now that's the only thing we're talking about today. It's
a nap, right.
Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
Uh, Let's back at the Universal and do Harry Potter
and Escape from Green Gotts.
Speaker 1 (01:00:33):
Now to let's talk about both Harry Potter rides forbidden journeys,
the one in the castle so that gives it some points.
Green Gotts has the dragon that breus fire every hour
outside and you can feel it from the ground. It's crazy. Now,
where are you putting them there?
Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
If there wasn't if there wasn't the the what what's
more most like a call Hagrids hag didn't exists. I'll
put a s.
Speaker 1 (01:00:59):
But that it exists, I'll put it a Okay, you
were talking Green Gots. Yeah, and then where are you
putting Forbidden Journey at now? Uh strong b see. I
would flip them because I think that castle. You're like,
I'm in the castle. Now. Let me tell you that
that ride is scary. And if you're motion sick, you
(01:01:20):
call them be Shelby Sauce got motion sick from that ride.
There's a fun fact there is a secret bathroom at
the end of that ride that Sauce was escorted to.
She could not use the bathroom because someone was puking
in it already. I'm already here, so I guess I
gave it to you, Kevin for ben Journey out of
be Green Goots Out today.
Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
Okay, we'll do that and then I'll just hold on
to Harry Potter Sulty. I'll put hackers in that ass.
I love that.
Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
Yeah, I think it's a fun ride. It's and like
you want to ride it twice just to get the
double experience of being in the little car and then
on the motorcycle. Plus you go forwards, you go backwards,
and you kind of like kind of with Forbiden Journey.
You get a little bit of everything with Harry Potter
in that ride, a little bit exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Let's see here, Oh there's another one. Maybe another'st here
No curse not Ju't curse Tron light Cycle. Yeah, I've
not written it, Kevin. You haven't written it either, though
I haven't written it, but I have a friend who
wrote it. He said, wow, this is very short at night?
Is unbelieving?
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Bugs in your face? Bugs?
Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Uh, let's talk about a universal classic then, Jurassic Park
River Adventure. Now we kind of talked about, you know, Pirates,
Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain. Those are those classic rides of
Disney Jassic Parks kind of the same. So I might
put it today. You gotta ride it once, even if
you don't want to get wet, and I feel like
(01:02:46):
it holds. It holds. Instance the time they've updated it,
there's some Jassic World stuff in there, kind of not really.
Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
You see the one fishing fish, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
You see the mega the megal or whatever it is,
the massa source, that's what is.
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
Remember that uh toy story Mania, Kevin, where were now?
See if this was ten years ago, Toy Story Mania
would easily be an A tier, but it's you know it.
They added new stuff for the movies, but I would
put it B. But where would you put it B too?
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
It's it's still fun to ruin another child's vacation when
you beat the high Sport.
Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Kid, I don't care what you do. You're in my car.
You're gonna lose. I've been doing this long time, kidding.
I'm sorry. Ireland is not a ride. We'll put that
in there, Kevin, you picked the next.
Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
One, next one just see counter ride, but kind of
against the more. I lived in the Lamb and the
land is real.
Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
Kill John Safari. Now I've never written this one. Wait,
this is the Safari ride right where you actually see
the animals. See because of that, and for somehow these
animals still exist in Disney and it's still alive a B.
Maybe somewhere in a B.
Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
I would go because the last time I went, uh,
I don't know. The herd of the raft on a
running and it was amazing. Then the line on top
of the Proud Rock, it was like a scene out
out of a movie The War. I was like, this
is great, this is a great rock Disney and you know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
How they could do this. Yeah, I think that that.
I know it's it's not the most like fun ride,
but like you're seeing really animals that like should not
exist in Florida, Florida exactly they do. They should not
at all at like a Tiger king place, not Disney. Yeah,
Cali River Rapperts. I would put that in d I
(01:04:33):
know that's an Animal Kingdom ride. But water rides are
hard hit and miss I think there are a couple
like It's a Small World. I wouldn't count as a
water ride, but Jurassic Park I would count as a
water ride. That is like a good ride. But if
it's just oh you're in the circle little tube thing
going down pipes and like I could do that anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
You're getting wet on on Jurassic Park anyway.
Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
So yeah, that sets see Oh a classic Epcot one
Kevin space Ship earth Heka, you want to crack your back,
you want to nap for fifteen minutes, that's the ride
you want to ride. Where would you put Spaceshipper?
Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
Uh, I will put it at my personal I will
put it to be because funny thing about riding this ride.
When Leah first wrote it the dark. She got scared
of the dark. It's just not screaming.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
I want to go back to Earth. It's an interesting
right because you're doing it in a circle and all
of a sudden you're like, how am I going backwards
in this circle? How is happening? That's another good Sea contender, though,
I think, I think, yeah, I think C I think
you know you're not. That's not the most thrilling ride.
But hey, you want to nap, you want to smell
some things that fire. I don't know how, but I
(01:05:40):
smell it every time I go in, and quim animatronics
as well.
Speaker 2 (01:05:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
Plus, like if you need a nappy or a little
calm down in the middle of day, that's the ride
you want to go on. Got five minute? Await, got
a c on? You're good? And it's escalated too.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
You got to walk up there.
Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
It's acts people over. Let's face it. Next one, keV,
which one you want to rank?
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Uh? Let's let's go to another Disney classic, Big Fun
in Mountain Railroad, which apparently was Andy gro John's first
rail road coaster.
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
And here's the thing. It's gonna be closed for a
year starting next year. So as of now I think
it's here. I think as I fun with that is
brother John. I wrote it during the fireworks we went
for Christmas holidays and it's great and there was no line.
We wrote it like three times and it was like, oh, fireworks,
(01:06:26):
that's great. Every time I agree with that. We were
doing a fire with me.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
The last time, I was like, oh, look at this.
We're a family.
Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
We're a family. Look at look at us, Kevin. Let's
go turtle talk with crushes in a rune. That didn't count.
Jungle Cruise. Where would you put Jungle cruise? Jungle Cruise?
It's fun bitcorning that time though, I'll.
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
Say, see see two, I actually lost I have lost
the Oh where am.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
I help me? There's too many Jungle Cruise? You said? Where? Sorry?
See see Yeah? I think like Jungle Cruise is fun
and obviously it got the shine because of you know,
the Rock movie. But it's mainly if you have a
good skipper is what makes that right? If you don't,
then that right.
Speaker 2 (01:07:08):
If you have a bad skipper, it's kind of a bear.
Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
Now, Kevin, speaking of those rides, let's talky about seven
Doors mind Train. It's also you know in magic Kingdom.
I think that's a CE tier as well. I know
that is a newer ride and it is one of
the rides that you have to pay for if you
want to get the fast pass for it is not
worth your time. It is a minute ride, right and
it is an up down. Oh it's done.
Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
What I agree. I haven't rent it yet to for
the exact reason when I when I've watched potage of
them is like I'm reading three.
Speaker 1 (01:07:43):
It looks great.
Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
I'll get another another ride at night because it gets
very colorful, but well, last four seconds.
Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
That's it. Kevin. So we've talked about we're putting all
the shows in the D tier, but there's one show
that I think can make it into the C tier.
It's the only thing in that that damn area besides
a pizza place in what used to be a Christmas
shop and they used to have their own gift shop
(01:08:09):
but it's not open ever. Mop A Vision three D
I think can go in the Sea tier. I'm cool
with that.
Speaker 2 (01:08:15):
If you also put Monsters inc left floor, all right,
that's pretty fun.
Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
Yeah, I think those are like there's shows but they're
interactive and my Vision three D. Hey, I'm am up
at Proponent and if I want to save up Atlanta
has to be in seat tier down the tier. All right, Kevin,
what else do you want to put in? Let's see here,
oh man in black. Oh yes, that's a good I
think a little dated now, I will say that. Yeah,
(01:08:44):
it's very nineties, which is great for us, but for
anyone else where would you put it?
Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
I will put a c still because it's like the
same thing as as a Toy Story Mania, but just
with anything.
Speaker 1 (01:08:56):
I see, I would put it. Bet. I think it's
blow toy story Mania because more rode that she really
liked it, and it's just a fun ride. You know,
it's a shooty arcade, but it's with aliens and everyone
hates aliens. So the aliens suck. Alien suck. What else
do you want to What else we can add next? Actually, yeah,
(01:09:18):
you go, you pick? You picked.
Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
We can do Fight of the Hippogriff, which is the
other roller coaster in Harry Bartland and also Frozen Ever
After an f cot.
Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
So let's do Hippogriff. I've never ridden it, have you.
Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
It's fun, It's not at the level of the other two,
so more of it's like it's like two steps above
the Goofy roller coaster in the Magic Kingdom.
Speaker 1 (01:09:41):
So Barnstormer is what we're talking about.
Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
Barton, I will put it at a bee honestly, couple low.
Everything else we got we got there, but I will
put it out.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
A b all right, Well that's aide Barton Stormmer to see.
Then I like that. You know, it's not the best ride,
but it's it's there and for Also, there are some
of these we didn't really Oh. Actually, King and Codos
is twirl and hurl. That's gonna be a d tier.
I think it's it's it's trying to be Dumbo. But
(01:10:10):
isn't that is that dumb? It's the it's the other Simpsons, right,
and no one rides that right at Simpsons Land.
Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
I'm sorry, King and Coos not great.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
They're not good. He's not good. We're saving one on
purpose in case you haven't noticed. It's one that's near
and dear in my heart. Alien swirling saucers. Now here,
here's the thing we wrote it. It is once again
like a tea party ride. But here's the thing. If
it was Tomater's round Up or whatever the hell was
in Disneyland, now that that's an a tier right right there,
(01:10:43):
because I had a blast. But where would you put
the alien swirling saucers like Kevin, that's one.
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Of those sea rats.
Speaker 1 (01:10:51):
But yeah, it's like a high. It's a good if
you get the good the right song on it, you're
like you're having a blast. And especially if you you
loosen the seat belt just a little bit, a little bit,
twistle around a little more, you're gonna have a good time.
Uh barsom c two right, Yes, we talked about Shooty Games,
Toy Story Mania, Men in Black, Alien Attack. Let's talk
about the O G. Well, I don't know if it's
(01:11:12):
the Og maybe Men Black Og, buzz Light ear Space
Ranger Spin. I mean kind of got to go in
the same category. I feel like I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
I mean it's the same thing in a different part.
Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
And you did say Frozen ever After? Correct, Yes, all right,
let's add that where do we put I forgot that
is b T all right, So Frozen ever After? Now,
I'm you know, Kevin's kids are perfect for Frozen Mora.
On the other hand, when we went last year, I
have the photos still having the most miserable time there
(01:11:49):
cause she got splashed right before the photos. She's like,
that's right before the drop. Uh so first seg I
put C but Kevin, or would you put it?
Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
I would put it at uh be only not not
because of I love Frozen, I love the story. But
the animatronics on that ride WI look very very good.
Speaker 1 (01:12:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:12:07):
I do think the sign of the other the model.
Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
The line is very long for that ride. It gets
the Frozen effect. But yeah, I think it's it's it's
one of Epcot was one of Epcot's main attractions for
guardians opened up, So yeah, that makes sense. Uh Peter
Pan's Flight, Kevin, there's another line and that ride that
has way too long over line for what the ride
actually is. Kevin, Where would you put Peter Band's Flight bottom?
Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
And I would put it a D. But that's because
of my personal experience. I have somebody farting in one
of the keys right in front of me, and I
had to deal.
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
With that fart uh in here. I had also put
Winning Pooh Winnie the Pooh. It's essentially the same ride.
Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
I've heard that's great if you're high as well.
Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
Yeah, and Little Mermaid that's kind of the same ride.
I won't we can't talk about the seas with Nemo
and Friends. I do think that's a worse version of
those rides because it's quick and it's really just to
get you into the aquarium.
Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
I say, the aquarium is better than the ride.
Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
Actually, yes, we'll put that D tier. We'll put that. Yeah,
there we go. All right, So Kevin got one through three, four,
I got nine rides left. It shows I just put
the D I mean, yeah, all right, so express we're
gonna start off trolls troller Coaster. Where would you put
(01:13:27):
I don't even know what that ride is in that existed,
We'll put D because of ignorance, I guess we don't
know what it is. There, you go love it? All right?
Which one do you want to add in next?
Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
Oh there's another one we actually forgot. There's another big one,
Animal Kingdom. It means behind never written it expression Everdence
Everest the yeah ride, yeahy roll Coaster, Animal Kingdom.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
I would say at the time, definitely an A tier.
Is it still an A tier? Though? It's still great,
but yeah, it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
Doesn't work anymore.
Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
So I would say B tier, B tier, all right,
that seems fair. Yet he still worked like it's supposed to,
I would say, he but you like this also, that's
another ride where you don't tell people about what's going
to happen on the ride. Oh yeah, and they freaked
the hell out, like nah, this is just halfway to
half of the rest no roads where we're going. Uh, Kevin,
(01:14:20):
Tiana is by you adventure. We obviously haven't written we
rode Splash Mountain, So we're gonna rank it based on
what it was, a splash Mountain. Where would you put
Splash Mountain.
Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
I'll put it Splash Mountain itself. I'll put it in
a dumble tier because it's kind of like the thing
you always see.
Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
It's a seat. It's a seat.
Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
You're like, all right, cool, I don't want to get wet,
but okay, Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
Grand Fiesta Tour starting the three Cowby Arrows. That's a
d tier. That's it's just to get you into the
Mexico Pavilion more than anything. But it's a very cute mascot.
It's very good. It is true. But here's the thing.
Pirates the Caribbean in Disneyland does it better because they
also go through the restaurant. You give me some trips,
but they don't they don't don't give you any food
(01:15:04):
on that right Unfortunately, Uh Tara don flyers, Kevin is
you have to have a kid for that ride, so unfortunate.
I have written.
Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
Yeah, that's why I hate that rids D because I
want to write it a BYuT myself. I don't want
to wear with my kid.
Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
Uh now, Kevin fo Yeah, I think you have four
rides left. Correct, tell me where you are. I'll help
you catch up.
Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
Let's see, I actually have I'm kind of putting Journey
as the Water. That's a that's just a walk ride
under the Sea.
Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
There yet under the Sea we put at seat here
with Winnie the Poo and Peter pan Cool.
Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
The American Adventure. I think that's another walk.
Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
That's a show. That's the well No, no, no, no, Kevin,
that's the one we're gonna talk about. Journey into Imagination
with Figment aka though one of the oldest rides at Epcot.
You were about to put it in D tier, but
I'm gonna tell you you never written it is worth
(01:16:02):
the Sea Tier. If you're gonna talk a Sea Tier ride,
that is Journey and Imagination with Figment, Because that song
will get stuck in your you ride that the first ride,
it stuck in your head the whole day.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
So it's kind of has the uh, the small world
treatment then.
Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
But it's he gets a fun Christmas sweater during the holidays.
I'll tell you that right shut down Disney for a
few that's true. That's true as well. Hogwarts expressed, Now
this is the fun thing that normally you know it's
just a train, it's a monorail, but it has good
them and you know you didn't. You don't realize it's
(01:16:37):
the same thing being pulled on a police system and
it's not an actual railroad. Where would you put that?
Uh for the theming, I would say, see the bottom of.
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
It.
Speaker 1 (01:16:49):
But also exclusivity. You can only ride it if you
have the park copper for the day. Yeah, you got
paid by train, so there's that too. You want that,
all right? So two rides left, Navi River Journey Star
towards the Adventure Kevin. Which one you want to do
first and save for last?
Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
Oh, because he's easy Now he's a low c.
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Never ridden it, so I trust you. They got the
little the avatar lady.
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Yeah, and it's still kind of them avuitars school everything
in their lights up. It's really great, but you know
it's still it's not as exciting as as the other ride.
Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Yes, correct, that's more of the oh my gosh, yes,
and now our last one. Someone say it on purpose
Star Tours. The adventure continues. Okay, Star Toars. It's really
just Star Tors grouped up where Kevin initially would you
put Star Toars?
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Honestly, I've put Star Wars in because Viole Star Wars
would have his edge.
Speaker 1 (01:17:44):
That is true, and the damn at at in the
front still holds up, still shooting shoot, shooting blanks at people. Yeah,
I think Star Toars is a very like I would
put A or B just because it is one of
those classic rides at Hollywood Studio. I think it's the
oldest one there besides Muppet Vision obviously, and for the
(01:18:06):
longest time that was the only Star Wars ride we had.
Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
So yeah, so I'm looking at this correct. Make sure
I have my street mess up for DAWs one, two, three, four, five,
six only have eight S tier rides.
Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
Yes, eight S tier We have Wow fifteen A Tier fourteen. Yeah, yeah,
I mean that makes sense. You want to S tier ride.
It's gotta be the Crem that a Crem Sugar ride
them A tier and B tier rides. But that's ones
you gotta ride every time you go. We don't have
at least ten stre That's that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
Woll interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
Well, I mean, let's look at A tier. I don't
know what any any of those can go in. Yes, tier,
the only one of them I look at right now.
Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
I'm thinking that is it? Incredible Hawk? That's the it? Though?
Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
Well, Incredible Hawk is an S tier?
Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
That's okay, gotcha? How much have something st that you
don't have that?
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
What do you have an S tier? Did you have
Remies an star? Did I have what remis? Rati Adventure?
Speaker 2 (01:19:04):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
I put that at a Hey, okay, that's what I
have different yeah, okay, oh yeah. But other than that, though,
I think that's a pretty strong list as a pretty
strong list. Now, why we did this is because Disney's
Fast Passed actually has a tier system where you get
to pick one ride for one and two rides from
the other one. These are the rides you want to
pick that are in an ass tier. You know you
want to pick Rise Resistance. I was Sleeky Dog Dash
(01:19:29):
Kazikading Gotta paid for also riser gotta pay for. Sorry Avatar,
I think you have to pay for as well. Oh
but tron oh you also gotta pay for. So that's
right there, that's tier.
Speaker 2 (01:19:41):
And then even with a with a fast pat system
at at a universal costs I think what sixty or
seventy dollars on top of your depending on the day.
Speaker 1 (01:19:49):
Yeah, but like do you want to use those? Uh
you know, hagrids doesn't even can't even like do a
fast pass. You have to wait regardless to get in
that ride. It's always like one hundred minutes soon as
the park opens. But yeah, I think these are strong
rides that like all ride anytime today A tier I
think are worthy of your time too. Then you can
kind of get in the B tier I mean pretty strong,
(01:20:12):
I mean towards the end to be like I don't
have to hit them if I can't miss if I
can miss them. But then you get in D tiers
just skip those.
Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
Yeah, but I feel like S and A though, if
you're going to a Florida park, right in California park,
those are the ones you need to hit. I feel
like you may get one or two s's, but you
can get a lot of amazing, get a lot of amaze.
Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
You know s rank on your report card back of day,
thought it did beat was worse than A. But it
is better than they It's better exactly. But those of
our tier ranks, I'm gonna read them all because that
was like one hundred rides. I'm not doing it again.
That took longer than I thought. It took an hour
to do that. Who would have thought? Should have just
done a whole episode? But let us know our rankings correct?
(01:20:54):
Are they true? Where would you move things? Where would
should they be stayed at and locked in? And let
us know infinite underscore pods on the Instagram or actually
go and give it to you. Uh. But we will
be back well, actually Kevin will be back on Monday
talk about the season and actually the series finale of
the Penguin. Yes, where where where? Indeed? Uh? And then
(01:21:18):
we're gonna keep on going next week. Will we do
some fun probably because here's the thing. News slowing down
because it's getting towards the end of the year, so
most target doze. Well, we appreciate, but you can see
everything we talk about today Hot and ninety nine to
five dot com slash crisis crew. You can also be
part of the show, be part of the people the
people Twitch dot tv or YouTube dot com, Slash Infinite, Underscore,
(01:21:41):
pous as well. See the actual tier listing. See what
our faces look like. See if one of us was
like this, This man made a dumb decision putting that
in the D tier. You could see. Maybe Kevin didn't
like where I put some things, but he has to
deal with it. It's a partnership.
Speaker 2 (01:21:55):
It's a partnership, and I'm fine with your choices.
Speaker 1 (01:21:58):
And I'm fine with your choices. That's why this part
ownership works. But Kevin will see you on Monday, you
boy will be in New York City, New York City.
There you go, But we hope you have a great weekend.
Just remember, hey, hang out with your fam, hang out
with friends. That's what matters.
Speaker 3 (01:22:15):
At the other day, that's a little buttons tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
Yes, the sun exactly that as well. Sun will come
out tomorrow. As one little ginger told us many years ago.
But as always, my name is and can you've officially
listen to this theme park fun filled adventure of what
keV Crisis on Infinite pod ca' expensive
