Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news you need to know
throughout the week on iHeart Radio and bad cast services
around the world. Because my name's Hoodie and I'm Kevin,
and you're officially listening to this very v necky episode
of what cav Crisis on.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Bob looked down at my my computers and just says
rainy days ahead.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I'm like, yeah, yeah, well it's weird too because I
think I also have the same thing with It's like
this Windows update that's like just tells you the weather
in the corner. I'm like, no, I don't want that,
but I mean it's nice at the same time.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
It's nice but also like philosophically, Hey man.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
All right, you got a baby, Okay, but we got
a jamp back show for you today. We are talking
about that Running Man trailer. We're gonna share sort of
our last minute predictions thoughts what to expect for Superman because,
believe it or not, that comes out this week, literally
this week, and Kevin and I good to see if
we can say this tomorrow as of this podcast recording.

(01:13):
So Kevin, make sure you pack your cape and bring
it to work so you can pull leave in your car.
I will wear my cape if.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
You dorow tomorrow. It's actually the World from here too,
so like we've been seeing it, we'll see it actually
before the Hollywood season because ahead of them.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Time changes, baby, you know. So we'll talk about that
and then our main thing we're to talk about today,
Maura will be coming in to talk about her thoughts
on Epic Universe. You thought I liked it? Did more
like it? That's the true test if a theme park
passes the vibe or not.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'm wanna say she enjoyed it. I'm gonna say liked it.
I'm saying enjoyed it. If that makes sense, Well, we'll see.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
We will see all that and more on today's crisis.
But you can see everything we're gona talk about so
much more by keeping a locked at infinite Underscore Pods
on the Instagram or x go and give it to
you or Kevin. Where can they watch us in video
form and Seymour's lovely face or if Teddy's off camera
or sometimes maybe Cookie the cattle come off camera.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Cookies mean nah. YouTube dot Com Suhn Underscore Pods is
where you go to see our lovely faces on demandag
your on leasure or gonna watch us lave the twitsch
dot tv dot com slash if underscore pats twice a
week to join a chat and join the fun with
the Crisis crew. I will put a cookie on right now,
but she's doing she's doing cookie things, and I can't
in all and all, in all good herds show that

(02:28):
to the people.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
That's private. You know, that's that stays in the bed,
that stays in the bedroom. But oh, my chair all
must up. That's fine, we'll we'll figure it out. It's
funny where this desk is a one person desk, but
when you put a second chair in here, things go
off the haywire. So things are falling off the walls
and it's it's crazy. But we always start the podcast

(02:51):
properly with something we like to call watch you Doing,
where we talk about the shows and movies we've been watching, games,
we've been playing, lives we've been living. Because it is Monday, Kevin,
you get to go first, Good sir, what you been doing?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Well? I did excuse me, sorry, I did start the
first two episodes of The Bear I did, I didn't
finish it all about the latest season. To get the
new season, I'll say I'll say two and a half.
I got the halfway through the third one, and this
one it's weird because it feels like they're they're careening
towards like the end of the story. But I don't
want to tell the news release. They've been ready for

(03:27):
season five, but I thought this was it. Yeah, we
all knew that this was like the last.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Season and like the last episode this season. I think,
I haven't look, I haven't started yet. It's like it
says finale is that is the name? Or at the
end or something like that. So it is interesting. But
this show can kind of last as long as it wants,
really because you're kind of following the characters. So if
the restaurant ends, you can kind of do whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I guess, yeah, I guess you could if you wanted
to go to another restaurant. It's still a bear to
run a restaurant. I guess. I don't know. But first
two are pretty good. I like what they're doing with
the guy that runs the window, the Italian beef.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Okay, they give him more story, that's good.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, develop him a little bit more in one of
his ambitions. Are Karme is still Karmei Karmi still karm unfortunately,
and it's kind of seeing in the trailer basically we
see that basically they have like a time people when
they go around the money to the restaurant down. So
that's kind of what everybody is it's going towards the
season so far. That's why I said before it's kind

(04:27):
of weird. Season five. I'm thinking maybe they do Maybe
they do it like a I was the name of.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Horror show American Horror Story.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yes, maybe, like this time is Italian beef shops. So
maybe if they do it again next season it's I
don't know, a Mexican restaurant. Then it's like just change up,
a complete change up Fridays. That will be like it
keeps changing out he season.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I don't know. Yeah, I know the show in the
past and I haven't started it yet. Like they usually
do have those one off episodes where it's like, oh,
I forget like the the older lady, like it was
her going to cooking school or like culinary school last season,
or it was the guy who does pastries. It was
him going to like New Amsterdam for one one episode
and stuff like that. Yeah, have we got a.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Cool I mean, I don't know what have we have?
We had a TV show BAEd what people have been
working at fast food restaurant yet I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
If yes, it was well, actually, we've had a movie.
It was called Good Burger So.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Waiting.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
I guess it's kind of closest to a chilias.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yes, I need to watch that. I don't need to,
but I want to watch.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
You don't need to, you know paramount plus, you don't
need it.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Other than that, it's pretty chill weekend. I got some
crabs hung out. M M. Tell me don't how to
pick a crab? She likes crab meat, but just want
to pick a crab? Well, how do that? Kevin?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Did you see that viral video on TikTok where someone
ate a crab the wrong way?

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I don't believe that was a I I don't believe it.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
That didn't look like they like bit into the shell
and then would spit the shell out. I'm like, that
is not how you do that, Like.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
The amount of cuts in your mouth that will cause
then with the salt in your mouth, amount of paint
it was produced, There's no way in the world that
was real. I'm sorry. Maybe it was a soft crab.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Okay, we'll say that, I don't know, kind.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Of like they painted wrestling, they paint the ladders silver
so it looks metal wal TV. But it actually would
maybe put some kind of paint on the soft crab
and make it looked like it was a real hard
shell crash.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Okay, okay, but actually, do you eat crabs like we
do in Maryland? Like you know, it is funny because
you know, like you know, Maryland Baltimore very high on
the crabs, and you know, Jimmy Seafood and get crab
cakes there. When we went more than I went to
Virginia Beach for our anniversary in May. It was weird

(06:44):
because I got a crab cake. I was like, I
think this is the first time as an adult, Like
I'm so used to Maryland crab stuff. Now that I'm
back home in Virginia Beach, I'm like, huh, I like,
I think I like the Maryland way better. But it's okay.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I love I love picking crabs, but to like the
fifth one that gets kind of old. Lie. Then I
have friends actually that they'll they'll go out and just
get like a dozen crabs for themselves. I'm like, by yourself, like, yeah,
I'm like, you're a psychopath who eats crabs about crabs
is a social food?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
So confused, what's going on right now?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
You don't eat crabs by yourself in a dark woman
but one bedroom apartment. It's weird.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
You never friends.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Other than that. I think that's all I'm ready be
doing this weekend. I want to watch you buddy.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah. Oh, also, you said you watched Sinners on Max
this weekend with the famiouse.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
We did't watch Senters was on Max. Still good, it's
still a great movie. Oh right, back to the rabbit Hole?
What all the imagery meant? And then watching it, I'm
just like, man, I can't wait for Black Pants three.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Like, please please come soon.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I feel like he prestiged in between Wakana forever and now.
So I'm like, you're going to do something amazing with
black Pants three. But yeah, so that was great. We
actually thinking about inviting over some of the the older
family to watch it. See what happens.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
We got the Max account. You can come here, I'll
show you.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yeah, and I want to stay older. They're they're they're like,
you know, they're in their seventies and eighties. No, but
they know all their grandkids and these nephe'll talk about
Center once he Sinners. I'm like, you can watch it,
but be prepared.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Just this is not you know, it's a lot.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
It's a lot. They color purple. It's not.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
It's not just a vampire movie. It's more than that.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
It's a lot more than that, a lot more oof,
a lot more.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
But yeah, so that was great.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
That was great watching that again. I think I might
watching the game before I go to bed. It sucks
you win, man, it's one of them just succuiting, you
know what I mean? But I was off of me, man,
what should be doing?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Uh? Yeah, so I think Also cool fact is that
over the weekend they revealed that Sinners bought the entire
like costume department of the Blade movie. So like the
vibe and look of Sinners was supposed to be what
Blade was supposed to look like for MCU. So it's
just a little well, I wonder where we're going now
we stole the whole costume department.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Blade man. After Fantastic four' I'm hoping for some Marble announcements.
I don't need like trailers and like co with Hey,
we're doing this and that what's here next year?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
All right? I love you, keep your kids. We'll see
you later. Yeah. So for me, it's kind of two weekend.
Your boy was on Hot or ninety nine to five
on Friday and at night, so the didn't get to
do too much with fireworks and all the good stuff,
which is okay. I know fireworks is four of July
is kind of holiday, and especially because more and I
live ten minutes from d C without traffic, and I

(09:42):
had to drive back through that traffic. I was like, oh,
thank god, we didn't go to DC today.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Did you see any firework from the studio on this right, No.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Because the studio does not face d C. So I
did not get to see anything. And that's okay.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Oh you had a window. The news doesn't have a
window windows at all.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Don't sorry, but bring up a source, Kevin, It's okay.
But your boy did get to go to the BUCkies
in Mount Crawford, Virginia with Eric, Eric's son Max, our
friend movie Eric who hooks us up at a lot
of the screenings we go to, and Eric's dad Carlos,
which was wild. This is the first time two hours

(10:19):
both ways with Eric's dad. I was like, huh, Carlos
is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
It's like a fun car ride. Get get Eric's yours.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
I did not. The funny thing was Eric's dad is
very quiet until like unless he like specifically has something
to say. Everyone else stays quiet, then listens to him,
and then we react to what he says. So is wild? Kevin,
you have you been to a BUCkies yet? I don't
know yet?

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Not yet?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
No O cool? So you don't know what BUCkies is?
I think we talked about it a couple of weeks ago.
I think any droground was like, what the hell is
the BUCkies? And the sheets in a wa Wa because
she's in Arizona is essentially it is a sheets in
a wa Wa on overhaul. Essentially, this gas station had
one hundred and twenty gas pump and the size of
the store main building is about the size of a

(11:05):
k Mart. It's Kmart or a small Walmart from back
in the day.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
That sounds like a experience.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Yes, you can see the video of us like our
pov at Andrew Hoodie to see the whole thing. And
it's near James Madison University. It's about like ten minutes
from the actual campus that that worked like Geo located.
We went. Your boy got a steak, a cheese steak burrito,
which I say is the clutchiest item to get there

(11:32):
because it's it's cheese steak, but in burrito form, the
tortilla is pretty good.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
That that's crossing like three or four different food genres.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
That's amazing Philly and taco together there. I was. BUCkies
is like started in Texas, I think like the Austin
area first, and it's slowly like kind of done the
big like reverse l back up into the US. So
like there's a lot in Florida. The closest one I
think before this was in South Carolina and now it's

(12:02):
Mount Crawford, which is about two and a half hours
away from DC, sort of towards like if you're going
into the bottom left side of Virginia, that downward triangle
part great time, got a bunch of t shirts, got
a lot of food, and uh, it is worth the trip, Kevin.
It's probably like three and a half hours for you guys.
But if you've got nothing to dow on weekend, maybe

(12:23):
that's a that's the vibe A car.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
I could take a plane.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
You could private plane, you know, Ultimottesville, Virginia, and I
get there and then that's probably about like an hour
and a half drive still from Charlottesville, so I really
don't really save it too much time there go doing
the plane and all that stuff, so caps as I
refuse to drive, even though I will drive still.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Well, I've been in the opposite way, same autal time
of White Cantle, so.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
That's true. That is true. But yeah, it was fun.
I know they're building another one in Richmond, uh, in
the New Kent area, so it's a little bit closer
to Virginia each I'll be a better vibe if you're
heading towards Virginia Beach or Central Virginia. But it's just
a cool thing, you know, going the opening week of
a gas station. Uh My brother and his wife went
yesterday and they said it was it was an ish

(13:13):
show because it was Saturday and everyone was off. But
it's just a little fun, little mecha trip, you know,
just go to those stores and just have a good time.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
I should have the fourth thought, I should do some money,
like some of the bever nugget.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Things I tried. They had them on sample. Kevin, you
would like them, you would like them A lot. I
will say that you and your kettle corn would like
them a lot.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Here's nuggets. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Also, Kevin, I will treat for you. Kevin, I will
treat for you tomorrow speaking of popcorn. So you you
you get excited for that. But did that? That was
fun and then more not kind of chilling because like
you know, your boy worked on Friday, we stumbled upon
and we are now watching Survivor Paramount Plus.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Hold on them.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
So we we google what like because Survivor I think
is on it's about to be on its forty nine season,
or is on its forty ninth season because fifty is
next year and it's a bigger deal. We were super
you could say we're super fans of the challenge. We're
keeping the challenge alive, I guess in the cultural zeitgeist
of our friends and family. And we're kind of in
a stuck point where no new season is on Paramount

(14:20):
Plus because it's on MTV, but we don't have cable
and are not watching commercials like down on MTV's app
or whatever. So he said, let's start Survivor. We googled
and according to Google, if you do want to get
into Survivor, the Best Seasons to watch or season twenty
eight or season I think it was forty out of
forty nine current season. So we went to twenty eight

(14:40):
and so we have some time to catch up if
we want to.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
I remember my mom was a huge Survivor person, and
then season it had her like hook line Sinkerman like
it was crazy. Yeah, it's okay, it it was not real, right,
it is real. They were not about by themselves, like
there's no way in the world about themselves.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
A little bit slightly it's slightly real, but yeah, so
we My mom also watched it growing up, like when
the first couple of seasons came out, so I knew
about some ins and ounce, mainly the theme song where
it's the oh yeah. So that was pretty much it.
But it is a bit interesting because it's once again

(15:21):
I can always hook line and sinker more. First episode
she's like, I don't know, second episode, it's okay, and
then oh, it's a season finale already in one weekend. Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I remember. I think it was in the third or
fourth season. It's when we had Thanksgiving over our house
for dinner for our whole big old and we played
like it on a board game that night. It was
like a thing like whole family stopped whatever doing, just
came to the kitchen. Hell yeah, watched us play Survivor.
It was crazy.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
And I think back in that day, I think my
mom had the PC game, the PC ROM game of it,
where it's like can you survive Survivor? And that's when
you got those big ass computer game boxes for things
like that, or Wo Sims or Warcraft to play on
your computer.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
It was like one of those click and play things.
It was like, you know, click, click on the.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Bug spread, will you portray Kyle? Or will you will
you align with Kyle?

Speaker 2 (16:12):
We had the same thing, but it was the CSI game.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yes, we had that too, Oh CSI. That CSA game
is literally the definition of point and click. Find the
clue and drag it and do a spray on it
or something.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
And it's funny because like that, the game has no
replayability because it's not like you do a new a
new scenario is the.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Same for Kevin. Who knows, Maybe they'll make a CSI
game in twenty twenty five the tricks yet?

Speaker 2 (16:34):
What was Steam looking up right now?

Speaker 1 (16:36):
It's actually it Wait, hold on, CSI CSI Vegas though
not normal CSI cs I Vegas. Yes, CSI Vegas video game,
I guess the like I googled one and the media
one that pops up is In two thousand and five,
there was an Xbox game.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Remember stocking Man word that best.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Y, What a time? What a time? Well, you know,
little little nuggets like that see side of the video game.
Both Kevin and Hood he played back in the day.
I didn't realize.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
I think that's finally off the air episodes.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
It could, it could Paramount plus we'd watch it.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Are we great song?

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Great song?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Really want to know? Sorry man, what a time?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yeah, That's pretty much what I've been doing. Like I said,
Kevin and I are seeing Superman tomorrow as this podcast according,
so we're gonna talk about our sort of last minute
predictions ahead of that. But I have to make sure
our special guests, Uh is prepared. Kevin, let's get on
into it. It is time for the news. News, and

(17:46):
first things first, Well, she's not here yet, but we
will break down Mora's opinions of epic. She read the text,
good jobs, you came in right on time. Here you go.
You can have that. We have figured out the scenario

(18:07):
so we can both hear Kevin, so that will be
lovely correct, Maura, Yes, I can hear him, all right,
good so Maura, Yes, you know last week on Thursday's episode,
whenever we recorded, there's been a long time ago we
shared my opinions on Epic Universe. Now it's time for
your opinions. Not the theme park girly like I am,

(18:29):
even though she's been to more theme parks than a
lot of people have in their lifetime in the tast
crazy but overall, start from the bottom of the top.
What did you think about Epic Universe, and then Kevin
will ask you questions and stuff.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Okay, yeah, so, like Hoody just said, overall, it was
a good trip. I'm not the biggest theme park person.
I don't really love like rollercoasters and some of that
kind of stuff, But overall, Epic Universe was really cool.
I definitely think I'd recommend going to it at least once.

(19:01):
I would say, wait though, at least a few more months.
It's just still a little bit crowded right now. We
lucked out with the weather because it rained, which did suck,
but because it rained a little bit, some of the
areas cleared out, So it did work out that we
were able to get on some of the rides. But
if it was a sunny day then I don't know

(19:23):
if we could have done it all.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Okay, Florida, Florida summer is not fun. It's not fun
at all.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
No, it was. I didn't realize how like rainy it
was gonna be.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
What was your favorite thing you ate? Because I'm a fat.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Guy, so food, well, no, I like the food as well.
Very good that Hoodie was there because he had done
so much research about what were the good places to
eat specific foods. I'm normally like the planner when it
comes to our vacation, so it was kind of nice
to like sit back and not have to worry about

(19:57):
that and have someone else do it. Thing I ate though,
we went to I can't remember it was called, so
I'll Needsy to remind me hooey. But we went to
like a cafe in the Hairy.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
The Crapery in Harry Pottery Land, the Crapery.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
It was really good. We got some crapes. You got
the butter beer dessert and I got it was like
a savory no, it was like a savory pastry crape
kind of thing it had, like I wish I could
remember it was called, but it had like tomatoes and
lettuce and cheese.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
It was very good and we got the lemonade. This
the lavender lemonade.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
That was good. So I think the pro tip is
more it was dogging on this lavender lemonade and TikTok
is like, it's the best thing to get. I was like,
I know, I wasn't dog I thought that I'm my
girl TikTok swears by and it was good. It tasted
like a frozen s icy pop thing but in liquid form. No,
I wasn't.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
I wasn't against the lemonade. I was just like, oh,
it's lemonade, Like how could it good?

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Could it be?

Speaker 1 (20:55):
But it was good.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Part of me did wish it came with a like
alcoholic version.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
But lemonade. I didn't like, like eleven of lemonades for
the wind across multiple spections.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
I think that was the first time I've had a lavender.
I mean, I love lemonade, but won't be the last.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Traffictive food festivals into September and it's just one lemonade.
Food truck and this much. It almost like a gallon
of it, and it's it's delicious.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
That sounds really good. That does sound really good.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
They don't not a big not a big theme park
ride rider. But did you write anything that you liked?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (21:35):
We wrote everything except for Donkey Kong. What specifically was
it called Mine cart Madness? Okay, Mine Car Madness was
the only one we tried, but that was the only
one we couldn't ride. Surprisingly, I rode Startus Racers. The
only reason that I wrote it was because so I
hate I absolutely hate roller coasters. The only reason I

(21:55):
wrote it is because the group had broken apart. We
were all kind of doing different things and it was
just Hoodie and I and I knew he would have
written it by himself, but I was like, Okay, I
guess I'll write it with you. It can't be that bad.
It was terrible for someone who doesn't like heights it was,
or drops or inversions or any of that kind of stuff.
It was pretty rough for me. But I was like

(22:17):
a sign that I really love you, that I that I.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Wrote this with you, that that is true love right there,
and the true love is I took a picture of
the photo.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Oh god, I don't even remember, I texted Kevin.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Sure you can see. I'll find it.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
You can, Okay, the like at the end, like the
ride photo.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
When I was a kid, I wanted to ride the
Scooby Doo with Kings of Meia, nobody ride it with me,
and my mom was like, you hated roller coasters. She
wrote it with me with with the had all the
way down, her eyes closed, and her screaming the entire time.
She wrote it with me. So that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I understand.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
You can tell you for me. You can tell the
difference of like whenever I am scared of like scared,
I'll scream. If I am absolutely terrified, I am silent,
like I didn't make any noise the whole time. Here
can I see what I look like?

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Okay, I just texted you the photo, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
So okay, Yeah, I look like I'm not having fun
in that. But a favorite ride I really enjoyed. I
really enjoyed the most funny. I really enjoyed the Werewolf one.
That one was really fun. I really enjoyed. I think
I would have enjoyed.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Hiccups, swing gliders. No, not the one we go up
the roller coaster oneass.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Okay, I think I would have enjoyed that if I
wrote it later in the day. That was the first
ride of the day, so for me it felt like
a big roller coaster. But after riding Stardust it was
like nothing. So I think if I would have wrote
it later, it would have been better. So that one
was pretty fun. We just rode so many rides. I
will say I was a little bit disappointed by the

(23:51):
Ministry of Magic one. I think most people have been
talking about that.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Ride.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Q itself was amazing. It was so cool to look
at and be immersed in the world. We wrote it
at the end of the day, so we only had
like a sixty is oh okay, thirty minutes. It was
sixty posted, thirty okay, sixty posted, But we got through
it in thirty so that part was good. The ride,
like walking through all of that was cool, But the
ride itself was very like jerky, and I feel like

(24:20):
I wasn't. It wasn't It just wasn't my favorite.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
I gotcha. So but one thing I like I do
I go to think parks. I like to find a
spot where I can see most of the park basically
kind of just like vab out and chill. What was
like the part of the park that you liked the
most of being like whether it was the Hairy Potter
Park and the World Park, what was your favorite, Like
this area of the park. Can you kind of just
viab out and chill.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
I think Nintendo was the coolest out of all of
the four properties. That's also my favorite. Like I like
Mario a lot, so I think just that area was
really cool. Yeah, the way that they did it was
so cool, and I didn't really have any negatives. I
mean the Yoshi ride was like kind of boring. I

(25:01):
mean it was a chill ride that you could sit
on and you know, you do it once. It's fine.
Probably wouldn't do that one again.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Is the people Mover, Kevin. You'll learn what the people
Mover is in December more.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Yeah, because there's a lot of I think another reason
I'm not a huge theme park person is there's just
so much standing and waiting and all of that. So
for that that being a ride, we got on pretty
fast and you can just sit and relax for a second.
So I think even just if you're riding it with

(25:32):
no line, just to sit down is nice and worth.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
I love people in the busy world. I love the
people mover in Universal Studios. It's like a cad in
the head ride. I can't remember what's called, but.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
No, no, this this is like a trolley ride. It's
that one at university. See it go by, like what
is that ride? And you can't find the line.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
For We did not do that when I was thinking
of a different one.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
You just sit there like, hey, we're going to the circle.
Oh happy, you had a good time. Yeah, so he
got your Disney World last year. He got you to
at the university this year. Are there any more theme
parks in your future? In your immediate future?

Speaker 1 (26:11):
You think, oh, in your immediate for you guys.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Okay, so it is funny. So the very first time
I went to Disney was in twenty twenty September of
twenty twenty three for Hoodie's birthday. So since twenty twenty three,
I've been to more theme parks than I have in
my entire life. I mean, you know, growing up, I
had been to like six Flags or Bush Gardens once
or something like that. But it's really crazy. I still

(26:35):
don't consider myself a huge theme park person. You know,
we're married, so I'm sure I will go more times
in my life. His family loves it. But if we're
up to me, I think I do something different for
a vacation.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
But I do know.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
I think I think, hoo, do you mentioned that in
December for like Christmas slash his brother's birthday, we're going
to what parks?

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Did?

Speaker 1 (26:57):
We just worry? We're not decided, but we're going to
Disney World for Christmas or the twenty seventh through coming
back New Year's Eve?

Speaker 3 (27:04):
Yes, and I heard you might also go to I
don't know if that's still up.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
No, I don't think now it's killed because they want
to go on a cruise next year. So I'm like, well,
we can't do both.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Yeah you could, Kevin, you could's what's a house?

Speaker 2 (27:17):
You know?

Speaker 1 (27:18):
The parks?

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Those theme parks are expensive. They're definitely not a cheap vacation.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
We could do both if we weren't going to bring them.
I don't. Maybe may be a horrible, horrible father, but
I feel like I want to bring a two year
old a cruise. She's not gonna remember it. Let's leave
her home. She'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
That is true, she will remember it.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
But I was going to say, I would definitely recommend
if you guys get a chance to especially in the
Fall Park for a weekend.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Kevin Kevin is dying on this Hershey Park.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Actually, so when I was in high school, I went
to Hershey Park with my family. We got some sort
of like we had like a I don't remember what
car it was.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
We had some sort of STV or something like that,
and the dualership reached out to us for some sort
of like go to Hershey Park and your tickets are paid.
I don't remember all of the details, but we had
to pay for our own hotel, but we were able
to like get into Hershey Park and it was fun.
It's funny because my dad remembers how there's one there's
one ride that I was so terrified. He talks about

(28:22):
me like trying to get off the ride mid ride,
and I like, yeah, it was. It wasn't even that
scary in retrospect, but I was such a baby. I
mean I still am a little bit, but it wasn't.
The Great Bear Great Bear is also I don't remember.
I want to say it was almost like a water
type ride where you like went up and then you
splashed down into water or something like that. Oh, okay,

(28:44):
it might be we went in like twenty ten or something.
It was it was years ago that we went.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Exact was the one where it was like a watercoaster
and the people can shoot at you from from the bottom.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Sta okay in my yeah, I don't remember it too well.
I just remember hating it.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Well. I was gonna say, because He'sty Pennsylvania. For adults,
it's not more to do to just the theme park
because Hertie Pennsylvania. It's like the Bertheact of Chocolate, so
you can do a lot more things besides, you know,
the park. So I'm saying there's nothing but to keep
both of you guys happy. That's what I'm saying. And
Hersie Lodge is awesome. Hershey Lodge is amazing.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
It is definitely made out of chocolate.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
You'll get this. It's not Polynesian, but it's definitely of
Cornat a level of resort, it's a hotel, you know.
I've heard it, No, I've heard it.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
I don't know much about it.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Visit we visit those hotels that we don't stay at those.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
But definitely Hershey Park, but that I would say definitely
in the fall, because there parks in the summertime stupid,
but in the fall, I think time ago.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, all right, then more one last thing, because we
love ranking things on this podcasts. Out of the three
Universal theme parks you've been to, we don't count Volcano Bay,
that's a water that's different. How would you rank Epic
Universe with the other two Adventure you know, the one
with the Yes or Universal Studios proper the main one.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
So I will say for me, it is a little
bit confusing because I have never just done the other two,
like Soul, I don't know one day for each of them.
We've like park hopped between them like multiple times, back
and forth. So for me, I get kind of confused
about which rides are on which which places. I mean,
I generally know, but I get kind of confused by that.

(30:27):
I think my favorite ride of all of the parks
is Hagrids. I still think that's the best ride of
all the parks. But I think the new park is
really cool. I do think it would have been nice
to potentially have another day there. While we did everything,
it was a little bit rushed. It would have been
nice to have a little more time to even like

(30:47):
look at stuff. We didn't do like I mean, I'm
not really big in a meet and greet, but we
didn't do like any characters any shows I like, even
like walking through and looking at like some of the
details and would have been cool. We barely did any shopping,
just because we didn't have time for any of that. However,
I don't really see myself going back for a long time,

(31:12):
not because I didn't like it, but just because one
and done is fine. Oh you'll go back, Actually one
other thing and then I'll answer your question. Sorry, Kevin,
I know, or maybe it was you that asked Hoody.
I went on a little bit of a tangent. One
thing that was really fun about this trip is that
all of the other trips I've been on with Hoodie,
he's been to those parks before and so he knows

(31:32):
what to expect. But it was really fun to go
with him and experience it for like the first time,
riding the rides together, because in the past it's just
been like me experiencing it, so it was kind of
fun to to do that. I do think I would
put Epic Universes number one. I think it's going to change.
I think it's going to expand. I think it's going

(31:53):
to get even better. There's still some like hiccups. I'm
not trying to make a pun on how to train
your drigon, but I still feel like there's some like
things that need to be worked out with the park.
But overall, I think it's really fun and seems like
everyone's really enjoying it.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
We're probably playing to go next year at some point.
Now we're playing on the cruise, so you probably will
get there for a little bit.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
But looking forward to next year would be yeah, because
I think things hopefully will have died down a little bit,
so I think, yeah, next year would be a good time.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
When's the first cruise for you guys?

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Because I'm a cruise never she never wants to go
on a cruise.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
I'm not a huge cruise person. I don't hate I
don't hate cruises. I went on one when I was
like ten years old, so I mean, I'm sure as
an adult it's very different. I think I'm more of
I think i'd rather go to an all inclusive resort
than beyond a cruise, but I could change. I'm not
fully opposed to it.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
I said you didn't want to go to Disney at all.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Okay, if I'm going to go, if I'm going to
go on a cruise, I don't want to go on
a Disney cruise. I'm sorry. I'm not big on the character.
Like I don't know, I don't want to be like
eating breakfast and then like Mickey and Mini are like
coming up or.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Like Norwegian people. I pick you guys as Norwegian people,
just full of luxury, full of high tech stuff, but classy,
you know what I mean, it's very very classy world
really putting on a ship that could be more of
a party ship or a chill ship. I don't. I know,
you guys think are carnival people. So I think you
guys are Norwegian people though, so you're going to do

(33:26):
I would say you guys are no Awasian people.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Yeah, I mean I'm not opposed. Well, we'll see in
the future. I think there's other places I'd rather go first,
like on my bucket list. I also think I like
the idea of a crew. One thing that's cool about
the cruise is you can see a whole bunch of
different areas. But I do like being able to be
on my own schedule a little bit like I feel
like the cruise is sometimes like limiting, like you only

(33:51):
have X number of hours or something like that.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
My cousin did a ten day European cruise, said it
was amazing, like they went to everywhere they went, you know, Italy, France,
the entire game it.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Basically that's cool because you can see so much within
like a short period of time. So there is definitely
a positive for that.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
I think cruise my favacation because you can neither do
everything or nothing. That's why I love being a Corona cruise.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Or you could just lay there, lay food. That's good
enough for me.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
All right, Well, any other questions, Kevin? Or can we
kick her out of here?

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Let me look. I think I said, oh I had
a list of stuff.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
I think, what do you mean? Watched the it's one person, Okay,
I can go.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
I'm like hunched forward. At least I have a chair
this time. Normally I'm like kneeling on the camera. That's it,
I guess, I guess that's good enough. Yeah, I covered
it all. I'm sure that's fine.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
I love heavy as our willing correspondents.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
I tell her she has to do it, and yeah,
I will say.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
It wasn't really an option too much. But that's okay.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
It's my if you love me card. You'll be on
the podcast. She likes being here.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
No, it's it's good.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
She likes being on camera.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
I don't know that.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
At least more episode.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
That'll be fun.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
See what happens. It's like the most efficient podcast. It's
like done in ten minutes. But do you think about it?

Speaker 2 (35:13):
It's okay, that's it, all right, great, flat done.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
It would have to be about something both of us
know very well.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
She knows. She watches a lot of things.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
You we'll get out of here.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
Well, good to see you all.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Go to epic. Get out of here. There you go
go to epic. All right, I can have my desk.
I was hunched over in this corner. My bad. I
got scoliosis over here.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Now now.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Hold on as we transition. All right, hold on, we've
got a transition set. All right, Kevin? How you doing?
How you do it? I?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Actually I found to can put it. I put it
in the discord cheat if you want to want to
check it.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Out, I cannot, Kevin. Unfortunately, because the way I look
at discord, I can pull hold on. Oh the CSI game.
All right, well look at Ahead later. All right, great,
love it, so Kevin, Now we've got More's review off
Epic Universe, so you've had mine in Mores. Hopefully that
gives you a better opinion on if you should go
or if you should wait or not. Let's get onto
something fun. Let's go to Reaction Theater and talk about

(36:18):
the Running Man trailer running May So, in case you
didn't know, Glenn pal was going to start in this
reboot movie that is in Arnold Swartz and Arnold Swarzenegger
movie from back in the Day, and Edgar Wright is
directing it. So that's pretty much all you kind of
need to know really before watching the trailer.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Yeah, like I said, it was modeling his prime. It
was like, you know, it was like Terminator, this Predator Commando,
like all the movies. Like he just was killing it
when his first one came out in the eighties.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
So we'll see, you know, Glenn Palace kind of in
his prime now Twisters. He was in that Anyone but
You movie on Netflix from back in the day, or
it was Top Gun too, right, he was in Top
Gun two as well. That was he was not really
the main person but he was in that. Yes, now
here's the running Man. You get ready, Kevin, let's do it.
I had one a two stop building.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Okay, all right, Ben Richards thirty five. It is a
long trailer too, one child.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
It is a medical crisis. Check Bendy's money. Check lady
from employment centers? Check.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Is that the lady for you?

Speaker 2 (37:36):
I think it is.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
I think it's the biggest show in the country.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Lot. It's our birthright coming to big o check check.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Oh it was well, okay, we got that spot on running.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
That's what happened. Heard sooner never comes.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
A lot of things happening.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
I'm trying to.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Right there is why you can.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Rules are simple, survive thirty days, the entire nations down,
move you'll get your family had a sluicide for good.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
So music's gonna be good in this movie. You could
probably expect. I promise that's the spirit this is and
why it's Coleman Dimingo doing his thing.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Nobody else Damn.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
William H. Macy take him what? Okay twice, Sarah.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
I guess we'll find out.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Play might be moving up too, back playing the first
quoe first, Hey buddy, they're.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
All free v coops.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
You better run.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
One chot, one shot. I got a good name back
catch you Wow, scary, I'm still here.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
Just ship Eaters Yeah, Beg Boys the fourteenth.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
Not the super Soaker. Yeah, November seventh. It looks good.
I I think it. It's really interesting. We are in
the precipice of is Glenn Palell actually a leading man
or it just he's on the properties that we like
to watch.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
In just think property just to adapt because the first
one was it was based on Seeming King's book, but
it wasn't. It was kind of like the idea and
just like spun it. This one is more based on
the book. So they'll be called backs in Easter ra
din Oxush Nigga one. But it's definitely its own thing.
It's not like a continuation of what happened last time.

(40:31):
It looks like a lot of fun, like you said,
like a lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, it does look very akin to like vibes of
like a bullet train or if you it is. This
is kind of a trope nowadays with a lot of
streaming movies. I think it was Lotto. I think was
the one with Aquafina and John Cena that came out
like six months ago or something, kind of the same
principle where Aquafina had to survive. I think it was

(40:55):
like a week or something to get the money, so
kind of the same principles. So mainly this one's gotta
I think win us over now with the story so much.
But the the set pieces in the music, I think,
really music.

Speaker 2 (41:09):
I think is gonna be killing. Yeah, it's I think
they kind of doing like like a seventy soul fusion
hip hop thing, which is always a lot of fun.
Coma Domingo that's gonna be amazing. I feel like he's
gonna steal this movie. And there's gonna be Enda's gifts
to use of Coma Dimingo after November.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Seven doing host stuff just like let him alright, maamit
or something like that.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Wait makes Mason. I haven't seen him in anything in
a long time, besides what's the.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
Show he was on Shameless? I see that on TikTok
all the time.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
Said, I haven't seen him anything a lot.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Yeah, it will be interesting, like him and Michael Sara,
and it looks like, uh, Clive, it's Clive Clive Clive,
not Clive one who hold on running.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
Wasn't another movie like this kind of similar dumb action.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
Lee Pace is supposed to be and that's why I
meant sorry, and Katie m O'Brien. Uh So, a couple
a lot of good established actors that we'll see if
the movie can support her, and I don't know.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
One just wicked to come out to Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
I believe twenty first. All right, So yeah, so this
has some time obviously before that comes out. We're still
surely but surely figuring out the rest of the schedule
for movies this year. But I think right now it's
good as far as I know.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
I'm pretty sure pass that guy threw Grenada because he
kind of showed him prominently in this trailer. This this
is fun time. I did draft this movie in our
movie drafting what we did, but I did draft it
as a reverse pick because I don't think it's will be,

(42:44):
but I think it'll be a lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
So Kevin, I will tell you it is competing against
Predator bad Land same weekend, so we'll see what happens.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Yeah, that's kind of interesting, Togger. I guess legacy movies
are squaring off each other one weekend that I thought
the same audience go to see this movie, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 1 (43:06):
Yeah, because it is very you know, sci fi heavy vibes. Obviously,
Predator bat lens being more established and I think as
of right now the main cast member being L. L. Fanning,
So that's more IP is driving this and this is
more of the actors are driving this movie. So be
interest to see which one wins that weekend.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Yeah, because, like I said before, the same audience kind
of goes to see both of these types of movies.
Both of them have to have a nostalgia factor, both
of them have upcoming actors in it. This will be
interesting face off, This is gonna be a for movie
nerds like me. I'll be following every we review podcasts
and reviewer to see what they think about both these
movies and how they end up that weekend.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
Yeah, I would say this November through December another time
to get movie pass because you got this Predator, the
twenty first is Wicked for good or and then on
Thanksgiving Day is Utopia two uh so a lot and
then and probably Avatar Fire and Ash I believe comes
out like a week or two after that, So you're

(44:11):
pretty set for movies this year.

Speaker 2 (44:13):
We'll probably get that trailer for Fantastic Four.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
Mostly that would make sense they save it for that,
and maybe it's like a oh we shoot in the
Imax screening is a Fantastic four?

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Yeah, that'd be a very James Cameron thing to do.

Speaker 1 (44:27):
All right, fine, James Cameron, I haven't seen this sec
Did you see Way of Water yet? I have not.
Maybe I should try and do that. I did.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
I turn it off. Those kids were annoying.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Sorry, an, we'll see. Maybe well I will do a
rewatch or something for this podcast and like ranked that

Speaker 2 (44:43):
And like, I'm not saying the movie is a bad movie. Movie,
it's a fine movie. The kid is so stupid that movie.
I'm like, if you listen to your parents somewhere, you're
here thearing this other tribe is guests keep doing dumb
things and this is just stupid. I'm sorry, maybe man.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Watch well, Kevin, let's switch on over back to the
normal view of the podcast, because we are on the
precipice of a busy July. As we go, we're actually
in the middle of it because you know, Jurassic World
Rebirth currently in theaters. It's box office as of right now. Kevin,
where was it sitting at when you last checked?

Speaker 2 (45:16):
I had it up. Give me one second, get it
right back up. I believe it's Domestically we are at
one point forty seven point three internationally one hundred and
seventy one, for a worldwide total of three eighteen, two
hundred and eighteen million, three hundred and seventeen hundred and
thirty dollars. So it's good change.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Pretty good. Uh maybe not the I don't know how
it is weird that we are in an era now
where box office numbers just don't make sense at all anymore,
because like, however, since Endgame when it made the built
like the two billion or whatever, like okay, well no
other movie could ever make that, So I don't know
when we're gonna get there.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
This is good for them because basically with domestically domestic,
they kind of made their budget and then then actually
they made up plus their budgets. This movie is seen
as profitable. We'll see how profitable it'll be because of
one mister big blue Kryptonite man flying down from these
guys on Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
So obviously Jassic World Rebirth out. Now, we have Superman
out this weekend, and then we have Fantastic Four in
about two weekends after, and I think there was another movie.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
Smurfs.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
Smurfs, yeah somewhere in there. Oh, I Know What You
Did Last Summer also coming out, and The Bad Guys
Too also out this month, so a very busy July.
If you are a family man Kevin like you are, are.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
They using this song I know the last Summer for
that song?

Speaker 1 (46:37):
If you not, they are not, unfortunately because if in
case you didn't know, we haven't really talked about it
because I think it's it's not gonna look too good
on the box office wise. I Know You Did Last
Summer twenty twenty five is one of those reboot calls
that comes out, So we got Superman this week, then
you have this and then Fantastic Four the week after,

(46:57):
so sandwiched in between there that, Uh, it is a reboot,
but it's also a sequel, so we have no idea
what actually is the canon lower for this movie.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
So it's doing a Scream thing kind of kind of
kind annoying.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
And I think the funny thing is Will Franchises came
out around the same time and Scream just took off more.
I think it was a little more iconic because the
ghost face mask versus the fisherman with the hook, the scream.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
I don't understand. I'm sorry. I know the movies are
made for movies sick, but somebody would a gun gonna
solve this issue very easily. In both of those movies,
it comes ghost face boom.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Ghost Face always got bulletproof, you know, it's all He's
always bulletproof and you never realize it.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
It's kind of like I was watching Jurassic World this
weekend and that that one guy who had the bazooka
that totally whipped on. Yeah, he's the size of the building.
How'd you miss? How did you miss him?

Speaker 1 (47:49):
It happens, It happened sometimes. But Kevin went with Superman
coming out this week. We are seeing it tomorrow as
this podcast recording, so we go have a review episode
out by Thursday, so you and then obviously listen to
our non spoiler part, then pose it and listen to
spoiler part. We're gonna talk about sort of our last
minute thoughts, hopes, and we'll say predictions mainly for the

(48:09):
end credits, because that's the whole thing about this movie
is a lot is being built into this movie because
it's not Superman Year one. This is like Superman Year five.
I think they've said official press releases, which is why
we're getting, you know, a green lantern, a hawk Girl,
We're getting mister Terrific, We're getting Metamorpho among all these

(48:30):
random things. Wouldn't be surprised if we get mister Mixelpitolick
because that seems like a James gun thing right up
his alley. Kevin, what I guess for the end credits,
we'll talk about that first. What do you think would
happen and end credits for Superman the Movie five?

Speaker 2 (48:46):
What I think what will happen is maybe a scene
of like, I don't know, Dark Sidled has thrown, oh
what's happening on Earth? Because I wouldn't say he's his
biggest feeling, but that's the way you can market it
to people, because I mean, there needs to be a guy,

(49:08):
a strong Superman to fight basically, and Dark size that
one guy to go to a tour Superman. So maybe
like a scene where he's sitting on his throne, he's
watching this stuff and he's like, hmm, my plans would
have to change, and then like it goes off to black.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
So you're thinking, do the Thanos reveal immediately off the
riff essentially for the first time credit scene.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
And not promise it like Thanos happened in two thousand and.

Speaker 1 (49:31):
Eight and with with Avengers.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
Yeah, yes, so I would say not to say, Okay,
we're getting Thanos, We're seeing dark Side on Monday. Then
we're going to see dark Side again in twenty twenty
seven this league, but just show show that, like you know,
Superman's actions on Earth are having ratifications for the entire

(49:55):
galaxy to see just being of this infinite strength basically
now Earth has it, and Earth has a pretty much
estoppo protector that that has clack Galaxy. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
I think the interesting thing is because it is Superman
Year five, It is an interesting thing of how does
especially with the Green Lanterns and Hawk Girl, like, how's
the galaxy view Planet Earth? Amongst anything? I could see
a dark Side tease, I do. I do akin this
movie to the very first Iron Man movie for the DCU,

(50:30):
of like maybe more so Iron Man two, where you're
gonna get everything established and set up for an Avengers movie,
h for a dark Side, you know, or a minion
of dark Side to pop up. I have a feeling
this end credit scene might play it safe and be
more of a tease for Supergirl, because remember whether I

(50:52):
think it's just Supergirl now, but what's called Woman of Tomorrow.
We already know what it's is. Milli Alcock is cast.
I think at some point there's been rumors she's been
seen on set. Not sure what they're gonna do. That's
the next thing in the pipeline. I wouldn't be surprised
as maybe you tease her with like the Brainiac storyline,
more to more can to how My Adventures with Superman

(51:13):
kind of introduced Supergirl, just because Brainiac seems like the
next I don't think you do Odd immediately after LUTHORI
and like I were just repeating the same two damn
villains movies.

Speaker 2 (51:25):
Yeah, he's a hit the Phoenix level, Like we see
Phoenix every time. Next Man is something else we can
see Odd four or five years next time.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Yeah, Basic, don't turn them into Doomsday. I think Doomsday
is also another thing you put on the back burner
for a little bit, just because of Batman for Superman.
But I think Brainiac is the right way to go
if you're going to tease a next a next Superman
or whatever will be the next part of it with Supergirl,
if that's what's gonna tease up as well, and maybe
it is Superman too, is Supergirl and Superman very I

(51:58):
know obviously Supergirl isn't the sidekick to Superman, but having
that sort of power balance with with a brainiac would
be interesting.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
About Millie two because I believe Mber her name right now,
but the exercise that's playing.

Speaker 1 (52:11):
Supergirl Millia Alcock. Yeah, Willi al Cox.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
He's in the movie. Maybe there's like an intended credit
scene where he finds her capsule basically.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
And you know, hey, I mean becausin you do it
or yeah, maybe it is something where she is just
in the background of scenes. And obviously because their names, uh,
car car cars are but her earth name is car Danvers, right,
I believe, Yeah, you don't realize that she's related to
Clark until the end of the movie or something like

(52:40):
something about the fall on her and she grabs it,
you know, she grabs.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
That'd be really cool, especially for people that aren't following this.

Speaker 1 (52:47):
Yeah, like if you didn't watch a CW version of Supergirl,
you don't really know a lot of that stuff.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
So exactly. Yeah, what was she going to die? Oh
she caught the thing? Wow, look at all.

Speaker 1 (52:56):
We'll find that out next year. Okay.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
What I want is I want to I want to
have credit for Badman. That's that's what I want.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
Yeah, I I think we kind of talked about that
a couple of weeks ago, where like just just the
silhouette of like, oh, someone's here to see you. Who
is it? Lightning? Lightning Hello, Bruce Wayne. Yeah, I do hope.
I mean there's a lot of possibilities they could do,
and it could be ones that. I mean, James Gunn
is very into the end credits. I mean Guardians two

(53:24):
had five of them. You know, Guardians three, the ending
was essentially just like a whole epilogue for everybody, you know,
So like he probably will include end credits scenes. This
is a movie to expect that staying name with Fantastic Four,
and obviously you know Lanterns is coming out on Max,
so you assume Guy Gardner is going to have us
send off or something to to I'll tee up that.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
There are also other compossibility because through all the trailers
I've seen, I haven't seen any krypt Knit m hm.
So maybe credit it's like finding krypt Knite, so they
could be another thing they could do. It also could
be a thing because there were other Kryptonians who survived
the destruction of Crypto. By the way, did you know this?
I'm going to actually people talk about Superman. There was
a Star Wars Legends book that basically said that one day,

(54:11):
while Darth players was playing with the Dark Side of
the Force, he acidentally blew up Krypton. That's like a
thing for a while.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
I mean, sure, I guess if you want to see
those weird comic days, you know.

Speaker 2 (54:21):
But yeah, there's a lot of other other Kryptonians that
didn't make it off they made it off of Krypton
that maybe could you know, see something going on on
Earth and show up. There also other Justice League members
that could show up. I mean, there's a Cyborg, there's
wonder Woman. I don't looking at the cast listing and
seeing this moving tomorrow, I don't think a lot of
those are possible, just because of looking at the IMDb

(54:43):
page of everything. But until we see it, I mean
I can keep on, like, you know, guesstimating what I
think is going to happen. To have fun events, make
sure that I'm not disappointed it actually is.

Speaker 1 (54:53):
So I looked at the cast through the Supergirl movie,
which is slated for twenty twenty six. David Krumholtz, he
most famously known as Bernard from the Santa Claus movies,
is gonna be Zor l aka Caru's Kryptonian dad. Forget
that Jason Momo will be Lobo in the Supergirl movie. So,
and the main tagline for this movie is if the

(55:16):
movie follows Carl Zurel's story in her darker origin before
she finally made her way to Earth. So I think that,
I really do think the Supergirl thing is one of
the end credit scenes if there's multiple especially, that's how
you tee up all that good stuff to happen.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
It's the other movie is received because if you read
that comic, she goes through some stuff, some stuff, some stuff.

Speaker 1 (55:41):
Baby.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
Maybe certain people aren't used to seeing women go through that,
let alone a superpower woman go through that. They can
rip people, all people open like a paper. So it's
interesting to see what they take from that comic and
when they put in the movie and then still what
people will kind of react to it as because man,
she goes through.

Speaker 1 (56:01):
Some mo uh and the director for the super Growl
movie is gonna be Craig Gillespie, who most recently has
done the Dub Money, which is that GameStop movie. It
Tanya and Corolla are kind of his main thing, so
I think that would be a good time. But I
do think this Superman movie will set that side up
of the DCU more, and then it will be Lantern

(56:24):
setting up Green lanterns more. And then eventually we'll get
that Batman movie down the line somewhere and the Wonder
Woman movie.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
Batman is casted, but I don't think anything signed yet,
so that when Michael report anything oh yeah, like James
Gunn and whoever acturate is like, no, okay, I'm gonna
be Batman. I'm not signed my contract until I don't know,
August fifteenth once or now the Total Comic Con James.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
Oh yeah, especially because that's like three weeks away, so
then you can easily promote obviously Peacemaker and be like,
all right, cool, movie's been out for three weeks. Now
it can say blah blah is Batman. I think another
thing to pay attention to is the red carpet premiere
of this movie, and obviously we're gonna be seeing the
Red Carpets tomorrow. Who is on the carpet that you're
not sure who has a role in the DCU yet

(57:13):
or anyone who lines like Jason Momo will probably be
on the Red carpet tomorrow because he's Lobo. Mally Alcock
will be on the Red carpet, So like, who is
there that doesn't have a defined role yet?

Speaker 2 (57:24):
And I never forget, Like everybody was like, why do
this q kid kind of forever premiere and then watch?
But yeah, like you said that, all the interesting to
watch see who shows up because like I don't know
what if Tom Cruise shows up, Like why is Tom
Cruise here?

Speaker 1 (57:43):
Tom? Mission Bossible was two months ago?

Speaker 2 (57:47):
They'll be interesting to see what happens.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
With that, I was excited for this movie. I haven't
been this excited for a superhero movie. I think since
his Endgame maybe I.

Speaker 1 (57:58):
Think yeah, I mean really, I think the cool thing
is with this is a lot of the Marvel movies
are kind of like, yeah, we know, we're getting we
know it. We're really like we're watching this just to
do the homework for Secret Oars dooms Day, You know
all that good stuff. This would be like all right,
like amaze me, wow me, and let's go on this
trip and see what's what this world's about to be.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Then we started with Marvel. We're kind of trained, so
we know okay, we know what we're getting, we know
the formula, we know how what we get. This is
our brand new slate now. So I was like, oh,
this is going to be interesting. And I mean I've
read a few out of the not out of the theater,
but like reactions to the screen they had last last
week in Brazil. I think that it was Brazil, and

(58:39):
I've heard things across the whole gamut. It sucked, I heard,
I loved it. I heard everything, But I would just
to see how I that if I with it, just
because of my particular growing up with DC DC comic
book heroes, because of DC Animated Universe and the Batman
and Superman and Justice League and Limited Justice League's cartoon,
all that was fed to me and then later I
learned on the stuff. But although stuff was fed to

(59:01):
me as a kid, so I'm interest see how I
did just this movie because I have my own idea
what Superman is and is it Man of Steel, Heavy Kenvil. No,
I love the movie, but that's not what Superman is
in my mind. But yeah, it's a take on it.
So I'm interest see how historic Superman is going to
be different than different to why the Police Man is
my whole life basically.

Speaker 1 (59:20):
And it will be interesting to see just sort of
a middle ground of you know, you have Superman the
movie in nineteen Christopher reeve, from what like nineteen seventy
six or something, you have Man of Steel, which are
very opposite ends of how a Superman can look like.
Of now, how this is kind of seems more in
the middle ground of the two and I obviously a

(59:41):
little bit of animated series, a little bit of you know,
my adventures with Superman. How does Superman look and feel
and vibe in twenty twenty five and fingers crossed it.
It's good. It's a good thing, you know.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
So I've watched Superman seventy six, and i watched Superman two.
I'm not wasting my time with three and four I could.
Then I watched Superman Return, I've watched Man of Steel,
I watched the first season or so of Superman. I'm
made a series. I watched it a long time. So
I'm big blued out right now, I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
I'm ready, be ready to go. Baby, Well, let us know, like,
are you excited? How hyped are you to see Superman
this week?

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
It's this week, y'all. Like you could see it Thursday
or Friday or something like that, depending on if you
go one of those a MC early screening things, which
I feel like we need to go to one of those,
just like what is it mystery screening?

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Oh yeah, I believe if you have a prim there's
no takes available for Tuesday. I believe. So it may
be like if you want to go with your your
spouse or your friend, it may still sum size with
the theater. But I'm still a little little some tickets
available to sign it on Tuesday and see it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Yeah, if you single writer or ride, you can single
writer or a movie theater.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
Depending on how I feel after money, I'm mean be like,
all right, I need about the tickets tomorrow, but.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
We will be back, We'll say on Thursday. Uh, just
give us, you and us some time to think about Superman.
How high to where we will be doing a non
spoiler part for the first half of the podcast. Then
a spoiler central, which non spoiler might be quick because
I feel like this movie's gonna be a lot of
spoilers of what's actually going on in the movie on Thursday.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
That's the one thing people have have detracted from this movie.
There's too many characters. But I believe that too many
character parts. We want to be one part of the movie.
The rest movie's gonna be about Superman comes Superman when
it's like the Green Lantern and mis Terrific and Hawgirl.
That's let's be one part of the movie, probably a
third act. I'm thinking the first two gonna be just
like the Rising Action. So I'm not what you're worried

(01:01:35):
about that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
Uh, But like I said, we'll be back on Thursday
talking about all that good stuff. But to stay up
to date on the nerding news, you need to know
keeping locked at infinite Underscore pods, on the Instagram, on
the x go and give it to you will. We
get the new Avatar trailer this week, but we get
it during Fantastic For what other Warner Brothers trailer. We
probably get attached to the Superman because they'll probably put
a big one on it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
Kids taking something to do better with his kids.

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
It's true. It's true. Uh, but you can also watch
the video version of podcast be part of the conversation
twitch dot tv or YouTube dot com, Slash Infinite Underscore pods.
But as always, my name is super Hoodie and I
