Speaker 3 (00:49):
That's all we can appreciate.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
And exactly money. Everyone's got a price or here comes

you can whenever you want to have a personal pizza party.
You can just play that episode in the exact my
friends know.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
What I'm going comforting unscore pots have a pizza.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Party and we'll just call it the pizza party episode.
Simple as that. Nothing else, just the pizza party. I
won't put ambient noise in the background, like more more
people are here.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Exactly, and we'll cut a real just a school too, likes.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah, you'll get We'll get the really tiny pieces, but
you get the big piece. Don't worry about that. You
get the big piece. But Kevin, we normally start the
podcast with something we like to call what you Doing.
We talk about the shows and movies we've been watching, games,
we've been playing, lives we've been living. Because it is Thursday,
(03:54):
Yep boy gets to go first and happy to say
I have one episode.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Left of Arcane season two.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I forgot that existed. I need to watch that.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
That's that. I literally was like, I have nothing to
watch right now, and I'm at the point I'm like,
I could start Dragon Ball Super. I got some crunch
Real Trials, but I don't want to start those yet
because then it's really a race against the clock of
thirty days to watch all Dragon Ball Super. So I
was like, all right, let me watch Arcane season two
and it I will say, watch recap videos, because I
(04:28):
even with the recap they gave me on Netflix, I
was like, Oh, what is this thing again?
Speaker 3 (04:33):
And I don't remember how this world works.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
That just the low and behold of having multiple seasons
of a show now in the streaming era where they
take place over multiple years and not just like back
to back ears.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Yeah, I remember Jinks being like, you know, just horrible
for everybody. Everybody's playing, so she's shoot everything up for
everybody else.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
And that's the fun thing.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I know.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
We're really late to talk about arcane right now. Ella
Pernello's Jinx, Hailey Steinfield is VI and they're kind of
the main two, like prominent cast members. Everyone else I
think is a prominent voice actor, which is cool. Good
for them getting that shine very animated, very well. There's
a lot of story going on. This is a pay
attention show. You cannot have it on the background and
(05:15):
be like oh yeah and then because then you're like, oh,
what happened? I missed the whole plot line, didn't.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
I Yeah, it's not one of those I missed that
line to go back to in a seconds, just like
I missed a lot and go back to the beginning and.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Start, Yeah it's okay, cool, but yeah, it's been fun.
It finally did get to the twenty one pilot song,
which is great because if you watch the Game Awards,
that was like, that was real good at last year's
Game Awards, Like twenty one pilots, we need to do
the belt Out version of them, like, hell yeah, so
I got to that had the finale left, which is
fifty minutes. I forgot that the shows are usually like
(05:47):
thirty minutes to forty minutes long, so they're not too
bad either. And there's only nine episodes of seasons. It's
not too bad, but it'll be interesting. I'm not inclined
to play League Legends, but I'm just more inclined now
to be like what it looked like in the video game,
well look like in the video games now compared to
what they are in this TV show.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yeah, I remember we were doing the first weasaon. We
were real close and started playing real close. We're gonna
be terrible because everybody's played this game for years and
we're just starting.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
So and I think we're kind of getting in the
era now, at least for me, where I'm like, I
like this adaptation, but I'm not gonna play the game,
like because the same thing happened Fallout. I really loved Fallout,
and I bought all the Fallout games got back in
the form like no, still doesn't have my heart, Still
does not have my heart.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
So a very dense game, not like a game like
like if they made a I'm trying to think of
a different shop show. I remember Infamous, the game it
made the Infamous show and when it happen to the
game not a very dense game. Your your guy has
let's go power to shoot flowers, whereas uh, Fallout is
very dense game. There's an inventory system, there's multiple missions
to pick.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
You gotta walk everywhere.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Hey, I mean Last of Us is a good example.
I played the game after the show came out, and
then we Kevin, are aren't going to be playing the
second game anytime soon because I am one hour and
to God before Ragged to Rock Kevin, Yes, So, uh
(07:16):
did you.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Like how like basically it starts that starts right after
the last game, but like you feel you feel it's after.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
That little like epilogue post credit scene from the first one.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Essentially, Yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Fimber Winter is here. Hell yeah, I'll tell you what
was That hour was? Mostly let me watch this recap
because I've played a lot of games. As I played
the first kind of War Remember Everything and the other
third mans Is, I got to relearn these controls. I
played too many damn games. I remember these controls.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
The other the cool thing about that game is that
once that game starts with no more logan screens, it's
a one shot game.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I'm excited, yeah, because I think I remember you talking
about that. They mostly try to keep it like pretend
like it is a one shot movie almost to it. Agree, Yeah,
it's really cool. It also looks still looks cold up
looks great. That Poppy two I think got a four
rock at twenty.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Two, right, yeah, yeah, twenty two, so it's a three
year old game.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Now.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
I'm happy you gut finally got into it. The first
hour kind of put you into it. How did you
like the Thort fight?
Speaker 1 (08:18):
I mean I died, but then I can't bag you know. Yeah,
so I was like, it's fine, it's like that bone
Batman thing where you got to die.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Move on.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
No, no, I'm not finished with you yet, I do think.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Because I was also like all right when I got
because I knew that the Thorn fight, I was like,
now let me watch some trailers because like obviously when
I was around and PlayStation twenty twenty two, so I
didn't really pay attention to the gud of ore raging
rock trailers and everything. So I watched him like, oh,
it's gonna be interesting. I know all these things now.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
And also, how do you feel about the oldin reveal?
Like it's just a nerd?
Speaker 3 (08:56):
I mean, I mean that I got spoored.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
I knew he was, like he's he's the guy from
Drastic or what is It's Drastic Part two. He was
also like the Secretary of Defense I think in uh
Superman Return Superman of Steel. Yeah yeah, so he's always
been like a dreepy guy. Uh yeah, I'm excited. Obviously,
I will tell Kevin all my tales of that. I'll
(09:19):
tell you listening to my tales of a game that
came out three years ago. But I figured now is
the time where I have a lot of ghosts. I
have that and last of us too. I was like,
you know what, what will please Kevin the most? Let
me get there, gotta more Rectaurant.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
I'm happy we will please Kevin. Is evolved here.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
It is because I'm like the I can just talk
to Kevin and they'll say about this game. Then he'll
play it again for the.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Under of time. Happy you try.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
The game is very massive, there's a very long partner.
I'll love it that that's very divisive. I didn't mind it,
but some people don't like it. You'll know what you
get there. But okay, I'm still.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I'm playing on easy mode, so I'm like, I'm trying
to like streamline it to a degree, you know, but
still enjoy the game.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Shoot, what's the name of the character that each album played?
I'm down? That fight is so satisfying? Oh satisfying? Can
we forget that? But that's why I've been doing Kevin,
what have you been doing? Good?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Sir?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Well today because I had a day off to day
they go to work. This morning, I finished the main
storyline screen shadows.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Are you sure about that?
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Because I did see you playing NFL. I finished it
this morning.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Okay, okay, I finished Case part first, and then I
finished now I name Nate Nie now way finished her
for a second. YaST Case part was very satisfying on
on a on a cultural level because he basically founded
down the guy who owned you and your mom and
the guy that killed your mom.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
That was I love that.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Naol's part was interesting because it didn't involve any fighting.
I found like this place where they the three relics
of Japan basically, and then one I guy I had
them kind of.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Betrayed your father.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Didn't you betray your father in the game, And you
could have chose to fight them or you're gonna chose
to forgive them, and I toose to forgive him, and I
was in the game.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Well, sometimes sometimes Indians do come out of not not fighting.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Meanwhile, I aske I destroyed that dude like that, that
was easy him shot. I shot him the face like
three times. That kicked him out to the window.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
And that's like and then it's like after you've done
the cut scene, like I'm just gonna I'm gonna f
with you now, but I know there's DFC coming out
for it soon.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
It's a few things I've done yet, like I'm waiting
for winters, like I hut down this this one bandit tribe.
There's a couple people on my on my hit list
and I've killed, but I don't know what they purpose
they served until I figured that out.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
For the main story, I'm done now. Out of ten.
Now you've beaten the story, which is the thing most
people would do for an assassin's creed. Depending on the
other stuff too, what would you give it out of
ten assass some blades even seven what's going on? Uh?
The story.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
The story had the same issue that she was the
game with the red haired lady, and yeah, very good games.
How the gameplay, fun, gameplay. Too many people, you mean
too many names because there were so many people in
like the main like Order, the Order, the Ancients, there
(12:29):
so many people inside of there.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
I didn't care who they were. I just wanted to
kill him, you know, like it's that guy. I gotta
kill that guy, all right, great.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Exactly Whereas I always go back to Bayac and Cassandra,
there was connection, like like in Bajack, these guys killed
his son, so it was like connection there. I mean
they killed her father, but I didn't really there was
no connection.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Also, Assassin's Creed origins had the little kid with the
camel that you would always buy the nice things bro.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
I remember, that's the curiosity. You had to have a
little kid that was like her best friend.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
She died very sad, but it was just I think
that I.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Think the next Assassin's Creed game needs to be slimmed down.
God of Warsaw where there's literally like only twelve characters
in the game, and you kind of developed more of
a connection to the world basically through that well.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
And so obviously we know we're getting Assassin's Creed. I
think it's code named hex right now, so it's witchy.
Potentially in Norway, potentially they'll the Viking things. I think
they don't haven't really said for sure. But besides that,
what would you want the next Assassin's Creed game to
be set in or happen around?
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Second? Just finishing the text.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
That's interesting because it's funny and this game. I didn't
realize this game actually takes place like right after the
eventsive Brotherhood, because there's a part in the game where
you're talking to somebody that you saved and he's from
Europe and you're talking about the Order, the Order. You know,
this guy just went into the to the evadicated. Oh
(14:00):
that's sweet, that's really cool. I kind of would like
to revisit.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
A a.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Maybe not a Founding Father's era of America. Maybe maybe
the Frontier.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Oh a manifest that's in the era, Okay, yeah, something like.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
That, or even like the Wild West. I don't know
how you would do that because of the park Court
that's involved.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I mean, maybe it is more like you're the sheriff
that turns into an assassin or something like that.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
That'd be cool. Something like that.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
That'd be really cool when you're the outlaw. I mean,
that's what the what is all about.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
But I know a lot of people are still like
really pushing for like the Mayan sach Aztec era.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
That would be cool too. Yeah, I was thinking that.
I was. I was thinking Australia. You know, we don't
get to Australian a lot of video games, you know,
like Lord of the Rings can only do so much
or even.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Like even like would be very interesting because I think
this was a mubile game a while ago, like the
I don't know what it's called, but basically when Russia
like switched like from what they were.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Like like the Soviet Union, Yeah, to.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
The oligarchy, like in like the eighteen nineteen hundred, that'd
be interesting too, could get Cladle's how really cool Russian.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
I don't want to win fresh anymore now, It's sorry, Kevin,
We're done with that.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
We don't want to that's a good point.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
In Mexico, Australia, they could go, I mean even maybe
even Victorian era like London.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
They did, like the Innuitial Revolution. That's the screen what
was that syndicate. Yeah, but like they go older, like
like like like the King Arthur.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
But then are you doing are you doing England too much? Though,
because Valhalla in England too. Uh, that's England with you,
it was like England, Yeah, like that's England Foreman. Yeah,
I think go somewhere new. I think Valhalla is good.
I mean Odyssey in Origins kind of ted into each
(15:53):
other a little bit. Origins kind of teed up Odyssey
a little bit to a degree.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Really, I mean if we go back and do Italy again,
it'll be cool, just like because.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
It only did Italy once and that was that was
nor the Enlightenment or whatever it's called when everybody was
painting stuff and even revisiting because I mean the game
was boring. But Assassin's created when I came up before
this what was.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
It called.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
What was it called?
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Wait, the one before this, Yeah, the one that came out.
It wasn't a full game. It was like a mirage.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
That that was the Middle East. It was beautiful, It
looked really really cool, and I think that's still a
little bit of juice of that era of that that
part of the world. So I mean, I think they
can do that too. But like you said, uh, go somewhere.
They haven't gone yet. If we haven't gone to South America,
we haven't gone Canada.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
I don't know what happened to Canada.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Show me, show me what happened to it. I want
to learn things through video games. Damn it eightred Toronto, Like,
I don't know what eighteen hundred Toronto looks like. Let's
go there and see what it was.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
But I always, always will will We'll keep the fact
that if they really wanted to figure out how to
do it, I would love to do it like another
kind of in the future, but like a main time
assassin's creed. I don't know how it looks and how
it works. Basically, it's like granted auto, you know what
I mean, staping steps. I think that'd be really cool to.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Hold up anything else for me, Gav.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
I watched someone else. I was just finished watching something too.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
What was what was I watching? I don't remember what
it was. Uh.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
I re started watching Bricking Morning Games some reason. I
don't know why, but we started that.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Well, the new season comes soon, so that's good Sunday.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Actually, yeah, that's why I started watching it. I don't
think that's all I've been doing, though it was something
else I want to talk about.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Well, your daughter had a big, big step for her.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
My daughter was chosen for a STEM program in Washington,
d C. For the summertime.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Hell yeah, it's part of like like the gift.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
He's also been qualified as gifts and talented. So apparently
I really smart, wonder and hopefully I don't have to
work after sixty.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Great, you'll be.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Taking care of You'll be taking care of I'll be
a kemp grandpa. I'll be a gap father. I kept grandfather.
I remember when I did a podcast lea okay, grandpa, Okay, Dad,
get out.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
I can't wait for a sixty year old hearts in
the podcast episode be Lit.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Do you remember the time we had four people with
Holly Gray?
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Remember he was he was a quick time.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
But it was fun. It was fun. It was fun.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Well, let's get on into it. Congrasso La, we're hype
for you. She doesn't watch podcasts, It's okay. Sometimes sometimes
well maybe there's the one. But she's smart. She's smarter
than us combined. That's okay, our powers combined. She's smarter
than us. Still, let's get on into the news.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Oh that's not good. What happened here?
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Hold on the buttons at work? Oh no, wait, hold on,
hold on no, all right, well the.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Buttons that worker?
Speaker 1 (18:59):
So Kevin do the sound effing it's time for a minute.
All right, people work that one work?
Speaker 3 (19:06):
Does this one work? Okay?
Speaker 1 (19:10):
The first things versus yep?
Speaker 3 (19:12):
What about burgadn no news? All right news?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Just for some reason, get that we are stalling. It's
quick load on the fly. There I realized what the
problem was. Desktop got confused. But let's talk about Mission Impossible,
the final recording aka what could be the final Mission
(19:42):
Impossible movie? Emphasis on could be could be? Hm. So
this mild spoilers. There's a little little spoiler warning there.
But your boy did see it. Eric and I host
the screening in DC. Unfortunately Tom Cruise did not appear.
Someone asked us if he was, like, no, that's why
we're here. He could have came watching it if he came,
(20:02):
And I'm like, here you go, sir, here's the microphone.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
I don't need to talk about. Thank you. All right,
I'll go see them.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
I'll go sit down in my seat. But it is
the eighth Mission Impossible movie, So in case you haven't
seen another seven, you might want to for this one
because this one obviously is a direct sequal to Dead Reckoning.
At one point this one was Dead Reckoning Part two,
and you could definitely feel that a lot. Because if
you like Dead Reckoning, you'll probably like this one. If
you didn't, you're probably not gonna like this one because
(20:29):
nothing really changed it.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Okay, I'm gonna reading a lot of reviews about it
overall because this is said that is good, but it kind
of takes a while to get going it.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Uh, it is long. It is two hours and forty
five minutes, and you can feel it in the middle
a little bit. And I'll say that to me.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
And I like the.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Mission Impossible movies. I watched all of them really for
the first time up to Dead Reckoning Part one, so
I kind of had those a little fresh, I guess,
like a year and a half ago or whatever. This
pays homage to a lot of those. You're like, all right, cool,
that makes sense. It's the last one and everything, but
I think the plot is very nonsensical because it is
(21:11):
doing to pay homage to things. We gotta have Tom
Cruise's big stunts, which there's two of those submarine in
the plane, they're in the trailer, so that's not really
a spoiler.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Those are great.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Those are great and imax too because in the submarine
the submarine goes from the right side of the screen
the left side screen. You hear that summarine goal way
around the theater, which is wild.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
I'm a sucker for good sounds. I'm a sucker for
good sound.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Uh. And you know, we love the cast in here,
but I think fing Raims got done dirty. I will
say Hannah Waddingen and Trammel Tillman are Apple TV favorites
for the past few years. They're really in here more
to just get Ethan Hunt from plot A to plot B,
and that's really it now. I don't know if they
were needed really, but Tramel Tillman did, I think stole
(21:55):
the movie because he was really good.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I mean, he's been amazing and differing, so I'm happy
to kind of seeing him start to take off and
maybe he could play certain blue Marvel superhero one day
one day.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
It is funny because if you've seen Trevelle Tilman plays
mister Milchik in severance acts, is exactly like the same character.
And I think he has to have he has the
mustache still because I'm thinking he can shave that bad boy.
So it's just very funny. I will say, like, say
what you know about Tom Cruise? Personally, I feel like, hey,
he's doing stunts. He's keeping some like movies like this alive,
(22:30):
which is dope. Obviously for a while, you know, John
Wick was doing that and he's still keeping alive too,
which is dope.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
And it'll be interest to see.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
When that stunt stunt category pops up at the Oscars,
who wins it first, if it's an actual stunt person
or if it's Tom Cruise or Keanu Reeves. Is what
I was thinking when I walked out of the movie.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Yeah, Tom Cruise, it's always been hard for me to
look past but that that is what's the word. If
I can't look past him to love pastive Will Smith,
it's kind of you know, it's just a mean thing. Yeah,
I really do want to see this.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
I do. I do want to get into the entire series.
I've only seen only seen the second one.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
I've seen the first one, and the first one is
like I kinda and that that was the thing when
you drop down with the wires everybody was doing skits.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
So I need to go back and.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Actually go through this whole series one of these days
kind of can do the sathing with Fast and Afarious,
Fast and the Farious. Uh, they're not as good as
Mession Possible.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Well, and that's the thing mission and the Mission Impossible franchise.
I think at one point there's a spectrum I like
to think of movies of here's Fast and Furious on
the left and here's James Bond on the right. At
one point there's probably maybe like a degree behind James
Bond and maybe have a Kingsman like three degrees behind
that of.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Just that's a little more funnier.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
But this one we're definitely closing the gap on being
close to the Fasts franchise, which is fine, it is
what it is. I think that's happens. I need movie franchise.
You go for eight entries plus that it tips more
into the comedical things. There was a point in the
theater I don't remember the exact which probably give for
spoiler points. The theater laughed and it wasn't a funny moment.
(24:04):
It was more just like this is kind of ridiculous,
which is what these movies are they kind of do
the ridiculous, the missions that are impossible. You know, the
LYG team is called the Impossible task Force or whatever,
you know.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
I mean, it's funny to see how far they've come
from a little show from the seventies, you know what
I mean, Yeah, a hundred episodes.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Don't think it? Did you google Google?
Speaker 1 (24:26):
I will say, Uh, Hailey Attwells in this movie she
was she was introducing Dead Reckoning. I don't like the
chemistry between her and Tom Cruise because I don't know
if it's just because we know, you know, Tailey, that
was Peggy Carter, and we like Peggy Carter, we root
for and you're like, she is in this relationship with
Tom Cruise, who we know is at least twenty years older.
It's weird, and they're forcing it to a degree. I
(24:49):
don't know if it's because I rewatched all Mission I
Possible movies. I'm like, he has a wife, that why
who's out there that they had a divorce legally? But
like I don't want to Haley, I won't know. You
don't any of this. I think that's just Mission Possible.
They always have to have a romantic relationship. I don't
think they need I don't think we need that thing
anymore in that type of relationship in twenty twenty five anymore.
(25:10):
But I mean Hayley that well they're doing so that
was good.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
I mean, hell yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Ball is another one that deserves Jesus because what does
she even.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
Things bond too? No, I think you're thinking someone else.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Somebody else, but she she is a really good action
action action actress.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
That makes sense.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
I kind of hope she gets her like her John
Wick or her Mission Impossible at some point. It's more original.
Don't have to be the off the back of someone else.
It can be her her thing solely because I really
enjoy it. Any I mean, we'll probably get forced a
Agent Peggy Card movie at some point because I guarantee
she's gonna be in Doomsday.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Yeah, and it'll be interesting to just speaking futures of this.
This movie doesn't end with an end. It ends like
any other Mission Mission Impossible movie where this could be
the last one.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Maybe you'll get more.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
And it's like, oh, it would have been nice if
we had some definitiveness. I think that's more on Tom
Cruise being like I'm going till I'm going Yeah, I think.
I think it is stunt categories in twenty twenty seven
when that becomes eligible, So you gotta have a movie
to come released then that gets eligible. Well, maybe it'll
be cool.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Actually at the next mission a possible movie is tuned down.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, I think a little simpler because this one, the
one the plot really was the entity, which was this
AI thing that wasn't really relevant to us as a villain,
you know, two three years ago and when Deadrecting came out.
But now you're like, oh god, AI, I know, okay,
it is too real. Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
I watched the thing recently where somebody just did an
AI video comedic sept Wow, that's that's that's scary. But
like maybe like a Mission impossible, that's more like on
level of it taken.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
I mean it's very like get that guy that guy's bed,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Mm hmm. I think more of like having it be
like closer to two. I know, mission impossible to a
lot of people don't like, but like it doesn't have
to be the world the whole galaxy. Well, you know,
every time, if if he doesn't get this device in
the USB port with one second left. Every time, I think,
(27:20):
pair it down a little bit, maybe just have more
fun with it, because I know the show. I didn't
watch the show. You never watched the show. But like
when you compare the first movie to this movie, like
what happened here? He was just a rogue agent and
now it's all this stuff going.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
On, because we compared it to like a john Wick.
John Wick one was about they got.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
It was simple, we all I got, we got the
continental over there, we got everthing going on.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Baby, So maybe they can tune it down to maybe
maybe it's not the world native maybe just the country,
just the country. So you know, the guy in the
country that should be in the country because he's a
war criminal and he had nukes and point and now
he's somewhere in Iowa. Let's go find him.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Let's go find him. That's right.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
But overall, if I were to give it a rating
right now out of ten, I give it seven airplanes
that Tom Cruise jumps out of.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
The question would be do you think, what movie you
think when this weekend in the box office will be
mission I possible.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
I think Leland Stitch.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
I know a lot of people are kind of critiquing
Leland Stitch, but overall, like that's an everybody movie. Mission
Impossible is definitely a dad movie, and it's long. I
think that's the bad thing. The problem with this movie
is so lost, like cut down twenty minutes. I've been fine,
But I think Leelo and Stitch is an easy win
and I think Disney's gonna get a lot of money
from it this weekend.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
You know, reading reviews on both these movies on this weekend,
reading reviews on Lelo this week I mean Lelo Stitch
and Mission Impossible, and why both of probably have its qualms,
I'm sure not people just getting meaner.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
I think it's more people. It's like this is what,
Like this is all we got. I think people want more,
you know, because I know I do anything called what
to watch every week? What to watch this weekend, and
it's like this weekend there's a lot of movies like
Apple TV plus has the Fountain of Youth movie, which
is John Crazinski and Ali Portman. Netflix has the Fear
Street prom Queen movie. But it's like, ah, I want
(29:15):
my my Blockbuster wind one movie to watch. I think
people still aren't, like they don't want a diversity of
movies as the summer blockbuster. I think it's that.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
I also think and this is just me getting preachy
a little bit, probably, but I feel like in the
old days where only people people are like in a
newspaper or like a magazine, but not people are just
like you know, YouTube.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Critics, letterbox baby, yeah exactly.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
So like about to say movie is okay, I can
get clicks, but would say movie is horrible because.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
How dare they do this thing? Like whoa like what
was interviews? They didn't like.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
I don't know, It's just me.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
That's like people are just getting very very very very
nitpicky with movie.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
Yeah. I think people also don't like Middle of the
Road because they're like, you didn't pick it.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
A pack everything.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yeah, to me, like mentioned apossible being a seven, I'm like,
it's good, but it's not like Wow, I'm you know,
that's what makes an eight and nine and ten is like,
oh my god, like that was good. Like I think
the other thing is you don't see this movie and i'max.
I can get the you know, the imax field that
I had for the submarine scene or anything like that,
but overall, this is gonna be a big weekend for
the box office.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
I do think we won. Stitch'll win, though.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
I'll be there was that tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Actually, if you see that in Imax or Dolby, Hell yeah.
I want to hear a wide rollers right all over
the theater baby, as many speakers as possible. I want
the idea of wanting to hear it. I need to
see punching the fish, that one fish you tried to
feed the sandwich too. That'll secure reference. But Kevin, we're
(30:39):
not done talking about summer blockbusters, becuz from one blockbuster
that's coming out this weekend, let's switch on over to
Reaction Theater to watch the second official trailer for the
July fourth blockbuster we found out last week. We really
forgot that's when it's coming out. Jurassic World Rebirth has
a new trailer. Kevin, did you see it yet or no?
Speaker 3 (31:01):
I did watch it. It was funny.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Actually, a co worker Actually, I'm gonna pull up real
quick because I have a co worker who's in the
movies like us, and he's he watched it like two
seconds before me and immediately tweeted at me.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
His tweet was, where is it?
Speaker 3 (31:17):
Where is it?
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Where is it? Oh my gosh, can't tweet so much
over here?
Speaker 2 (31:22):
He does tweet a lot, he said, he motech is
a kid involve.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
Well that's all you need to know really about this.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
But let's watch it and then we'll talk about We
got another train to talk about too, So we got
double double double trailer today, three two one A play
quiet turned it up. Oh all right, there's the sirens
up a the dough out the door that's caressing him.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
I would like to think about the island we're headed too. Hers.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Do species have survived Jonathan Bailey and the inquisitor theme.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Park owners experimental work?
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Maybe very drastic world, Yes, can't cretaceous.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Thickets? I got you a perspective. There's a kid?
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Why why I don't see that every day?
Speaker 3 (32:43):
We got.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
Let's go the cat too.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
If we get this.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
DNA millions of glad you said, maybe we should make
this quick. Huh yeah? That word?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Why is there like a temple? Like? Why is there a.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Place where we don't belong?
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Sir Bako is a long shot.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
That's kind of our specialty always a I see that
they're gonna sell that at Universal for sure?
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Why they again? She gained it? Knock thesaurus or whatever.
We're not going that looks like it's in King Kong
for a No, it found us the one through line
(33:45):
we get from the other movies. That's what I had,
tricks and ship from perspective, they've.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Been shown all about this. Damn it was a sor Yeah,
there you go. That's trailer.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Get tickets now. Yeah, I mean, we're gonna see it.
But it is what it is.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Like I said, the one through lines of damn mossaurs
and they just cannot kill this damn Moses saurs.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
And that gun that it wasn't gonna do it.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
I was gonna do it either.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
That's okay, Yeah, I mean it's funny, is you know,
because I just watched Camp Cretaceous and starting Chaos Theory
two degree, we'll take a little break on it. Camp
Cretations did bring up a lot of like the hybrid dinosaurs,
which it feels like we're leaning into more with this one.
Obviously the movies kind of did too, but this one
like they're legit, like full ass hybrids of two different
dinosaurs fused together. They look different, you know, it looked.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Different, Like I said that one hidn't want to keep
had with the smoke, the smoke and everything. It looks
like a color field monster that I want to have.
The wings look like like a wide mouth raptor that
type of thing going on. Actually, it's funny. The scene
in right here in the beginning with the Jurassic with
the Tannant was Rex swimming.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Actually from the original book.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
They couldn't put that in the first movie because didn't
have the ability to the didn't have the technology they
put in this one. That's kind of like a throwback.
But I think it's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Oh, the new dinosaur is called the Titanosaurus.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Titanosaurs as bad as undertaking.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
If that's not it, sorry it is.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
The distortis Rex is what it's called.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
That's the worst. Actually, distortis wrecks? Sound like that.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
That's just like a marketing employee distort.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
What what what it looks like? In a month with
the toys hit Target?
Speaker 1 (35:39):
I think the toys are out now, Like you can
buy the toy now if you wanted to.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Yeah, it's not about.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Target, but I get home.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
This is for my kids?
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Or is it for me?
Speaker 2 (35:48):
I still haven't bought that battle deal, But that's off topic.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
Day Monday, I feel.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Like this movie, like I said, it's going to be
at best a sixty five percent of Rotten Tomatoes. It's
going to make a brillion.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Yeah, it's gonna make a ton of money. Plus it
comes out of four July weekend. Everyone's seen a movie
at least one day during that four of July break,
you know, And I think You Know How to Train
Your Dragon have been out for like two weeks by then,
So if you've seen it, you has seen it. If not,
you go see a dinosaur movie.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
It's like two weeks at the Pantastic four too, so
the Panentsic four Superman run is over as well.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
It's gonna come out.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
But see, that's an interesting thing though, this movie count
four July weekend and it really only has, like you said,
like a week and a half two weeks till Superman
comes out. Is can any any of those three movies
get to a billion because they're just so close in
a release date to one another.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
I think this one may have the best chance right now. Yeah,
it looks like ton of both may struggle to hit
five hundred three thirty good Captain America only made four set,
wasn't there? I don't know what it was. I think
Superman will make a round five to six. I don't
think it'll make a billion either. The same with Pantans
(36:59):
for on the four to five. So this may be
that this ul be your best chance to make a billion,
because I mean it's it's a known property. We don't
people love watching down the Swords and yet able to
scream while the kids in there. But I don't know
it again. And another thing that has going forward to
(37:20):
it has a spectacular cast.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
I mean, yeah, it's anybody you like is in this movie?
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Really?
Speaker 2 (37:26):
I mean, now, I'm hoping that nobody dies because I
don't wan see anybody in this movie.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
I don't want to see johnthan Bailey die.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Yeah, he's just in Wike who will run the Bridgerton
House if he dies?
Speaker 2 (37:36):
If we all love marsha A Lei, when we all
love Uscollar, Johansson.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
An inquisitor, the kids Man come on now?
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Yeah obviously, Yeah, this comes out July second, so we
will be in theaters to watch it. But we're not
done talk about trailers. Kevin, let's flip on over the
TV side of things, really, the streaming side of things.
Let's face it, because we got the new Actually, the
first real trailer for it Welcome to Dairy, Come in
this fall to HBO Max.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Which is now HBO Max. Get that in your head.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Remember that so originally also I forgot to play this
sound effect. Originally this show is going to be called
just Welcome the Dairy, and the focus from what we
I've kind of learned was it was going to be
on a lot of like this City's where all of
sort of Stephen King's properties take place or the city's
(38:29):
involved with everything. But it's interesting that they're leaning heavily
more into the IT set of things. That's what people
know and everyone saw it or one of the IT
movies at least by now that this is looking more
like an IT prequel series now than a Stephen King
a verse. But even though it Pennywise the Clown, it's
kind of there's a whole thing with the Stephen King
universe of turtles and dark towers and all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
They actually did that well, Castle Rock, that was the
name of the show.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
It was a so called Castle Rock on Hulu where
it took place in the town where all the Team
King Whores happened. Sasha Prison was there, the hotel from
the shining was there like they already did that.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
So that's funny and I kind of recycled that idea.
But people will watch it now because on HBO you
now kind of first of.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Thing was cool, sextually got kind of cookie.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Yeah, well let's usual what happens?
Speaker 1 (39:19):
So Kevin, let's hit. Have you seen this trailer? I'm
assuming your wife has all right, so get ready to
be scared.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
I just know that she knows about the show. I'll
be inform her.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
There you go, you know what you're watching late at
night when the kids go to bed exactly. It's like
I don't want nightmares either. Three two one, you can
hit play good, sir. It's a kid hitchhike thing. Get in. No,
(39:50):
she didn't say do you want to get in?
Speaker 3 (39:51):
She said get in homes.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
We'll get you back to your parents safe and south.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
I don't trust that anywhere, but my family was moved
to town. Oh hey, baby, I know that.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Oh the turtle turtle references. Okay, okay, I mean it's murder.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
This business with the missing kids. Do I need to
be concerned?
Speaker 2 (40:31):
I have a bad idea to keep the people you
love close.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
No, don't ever gonna believe what we saw. I wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
There's a history of stuff like this happening in the.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Oh you just ain't hi, it's just out of police business.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
I heard voices.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
Give it in a button.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Something like.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
Nope, nope.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
For something bad.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Nope is that from the show. They just take that
from the movie exactly.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
Yeah, I mean creepy. I think you're not gonna get
penny Wise to like the last two episodes or something,
most likely in that show. In a trailer about penny Wise.
It wasn't a lot of Pennywise in the trailer. But
you know, you can't.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
You can't give you waiting for the first Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
Of course, and of course not Bill. I think it's
Bill scars Guard. Believe one of the right Bill, Bill
scars Guard is returning to be penny Wise doing his
weird eye and lip thing.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
He did that anyways, I remember that.
Speaker 1 (41:56):
But so it'll be interesting just to see how this
show does stuff. It is interesting too because it gives
you sort of a prequel vibe to the IT movies.
But you're like, while of those kids die, So I
don't are they gonna repeat the cycle or what's gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Will gives you a vibe of like nineteen sixties stranger things.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
M m hmmm, a little bit, I will, I will
kind of call a little bit of a shade on
this because but I got one time to tell when
she saw I met a clown suit were trying to eat.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
We can we can leave it?
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Well, you know she does like to play that Poppy's
Play Time or whatever game, so which keeps me on,
So I don't get it that very creepy game. Actually yeah,
I mean this it's gonna be good. It does, you know,
have the vibes of love Craft Country and you know
it is stranger things of is this stuff real? What's
(42:44):
going on? But yeah, it also.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
Could maybe open up Pandora's box of maybe we make
some of these Stephen King works. TV shows may not
all need to be movies, you know what I mean,
but make some TV shows out of them, because I'm
castle Rock tried and how to succeed them.
Speaker 1 (43:00):
But that really yeah, yes, I think you can't. And
they don't only all be movies. Again, like Pet Cemetery pets.
I don't know if pet Cemetery was a Stephen King
or not, but pet Cemetery got Redone like four years
ago or something. Obviously we've had the IT movies. I
think Carry is getting Redone in some regard, I think
(43:22):
too soon, So like, maybe create this universe. I don't
know if they're all owned under Warner Brothers and all
that stuff. If Max wants to have just another shared
universe category, they can have and I think people will
see it.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
I think so. I think so too Again, what an
HBO series? You're not getting quality? And the show looks
like another notch if you may not like it, but
it's a quality.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
You might not like it, but it will be quality,
damn it.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
I like they went and built some nineteen sixties town
somewhere in middle of America, want to set it all.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
But yeah, so that's coming out of this fall. I
assume probably said to member, uh, just because it'll probably
end right around Halloween and that's when the penny Wise
things will come out, most likely in those two episodes.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
But I will say Darius On entered the Gotham City careerd, Wow,
why'd you live here?
Speaker 1 (44:11):
Like?
Speaker 3 (44:11):
Why are you choosing living.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
You know a clown or maybe a clown? Why you
invite the circus here every year? Why leave them.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
Alone and leave.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
Now, Kevin, have I told you this story about my
freshman year of college? No, a freshman or maybe a
sophomore year, one of those years.
Speaker 3 (44:27):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
Uh, so this is when slender Man was popular. I
ever told you the slender Man story?
Speaker 2 (44:31):
I remember, No, we have Slenderman experience in Orlando, but
I don't think I've ever heard this story.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Okay, so this is I don't know it was the
first or second slender Man game come out. You know,
slender Man, you know, at that time was talk of
the town. It was an internet game. It wasn't an
actual video game. You had to play in your browser
and everything. And lo and behold, there's a bridge separating
the main part of George Mason's campus to where all
the freshmen live.
Speaker 3 (44:54):
And who do you know? I was smart?
Speaker 1 (44:55):
I was. I was likely at one point it was
in the nice side of the freshman side, where the
it was we don't live, where the poors lived is
what we would like to go, even though it was
the same amount of money, Uh, just different dorm. I
don't know why, but there was a bridge there that iconically,
someone every Friday or Saturday would put pages up, the
(45:16):
white little pages you had to collect a summon slender Man,
and then I think it was whenever we went it
was around Halloween, so it's probably like they started September
and in Halloween. Uh, we passed by one. It said
seven of eight on the page.
Speaker 3 (45:29):
And then you're like, oh, don't like this. This is trippy.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
And here crack crack off in the distance, and like,
hell no, we get to the diner that's in the
Freshman area, there's a slender Man waiting there. Like all right,
well we're by the diners where they can't get the
can't get to us there, But that dude.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Was probably messing with people back of that bridge all
the time. That's kind of like do you.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
Remember I was like maybe like two or three years
ago and people kept finding finding weird clowns hanging out
with the woods with balloons.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
It was just like it was when the Penny. It
was when It part two came out again. The people, Yeah,
but you do that in wrong part of come don't
get shot scary.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:04):
So also, yeah, I wouldn't put it past them doing
a Slenderman TV show because I know they've done the
documentary and then that weird movie.
Speaker 3 (46:10):
But it's not great. It wasn't good.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
You thought it would do better because because I like
the the you know, the Tall Tales or whatever, but
it was maybe because it wasn't well made like that.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
Now, Kevin, I'm going to give you an option. This
is to choose your own adventure for you right now.
Do you want to talk about Epic Universe or do
you want to talk about Scrubs.
Speaker 3 (46:32):
Mm at the Universe next week? Because we can talk
about that regardless anytime.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
About how to hold the more day weekend. So let's
let's talk about.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Scrub all right.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
Well, Kevin, get excited because j D zach Braff will
be in the Scrubs r But Kevin, it's a win
for you.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Really, when I forgot, they actually are are moving forward
to the reboot of the show. So I'm really excited
about this, honestly, because I can't remember how much the
time jump was at the end of the series when
he did like not the flash forward, but I feel
like now they're in that, so I just start.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
From the flashboard now, see how every thing is. So
obviously it's been Scrubs came out twenty four years ago,
which is wild two thousand and one, when quit and
it's been a while since we had that Scrubs final season.
We don't talk about because it wasn't really the final season.
That's okay, But as of this week, Zach Braff did
say he's coming back as JD. No word on if
(47:30):
the new series the Scrubs reboot, slash revivals, what's called.
Right now, we'll be going back to Sacred Heart Hospital,
but it will be on ABC. And creator Bill Lawrence,
Ted Lasso and Shrinking there you go ahead.
Speaker 3 (47:45):
Think of the other one will be working with this show.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
I don't know if that means he's directing, in he's writing,
Ford or whatever, but he will be part of the show.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Kind of hoping that Apple TV will get this show
mm hmmm and get.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
More are like, I don't.
Speaker 1 (48:00):
I don't think any you want to Bill Lawrence universe
is connected.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
But I'm sure because I listened.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
I listen. I have listened to it in a while,
but going to the Pandemic, I listened to a lot
of the best podcasts. Thank Doctor's Real Friends and Bill Lawrence,
Zach Braff, Donald Fajon, Remember they played Sarah Chalk. They
are all more than just like their friends, like really
good friends like vacation friends. So I'm pretty sure it's
just a matter of time. But they were just working
(48:33):
out contracts. We'll hear that everybody's kind of returning to
the show. Yeah, I'm excited about it. You guys watched
Scrubs any more?
Speaker 1 (48:42):
I did. I watched it growing up, just because of
the reruns that was always on Comedy Central then and
then I didn't really watch the last season when it
was on TV. But I think this would be cool.
I know Cougartown came out after Scrubs and that was
kind of the not spiritual successor, but everyone from Scrubs
was was on Cougartown. And then obviously now we have
(49:02):
Ted Lanslow, We've had Shrinking, now we have this. I'm excited.
I think we have a lot of medical shows that
are very serious. I know we have one right now,
Saint Dennis Medical. I don't like Saint Dennis Medical. I
watch it because watching sometimes, but people on there are
tom that one young guy should not be on there.
Speaker 3 (49:23):
He's not a good doctor or nurse.
Speaker 2 (49:27):
Because the only president for that kind of show is
scrub I feel like you're trying to make him like JD.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
But he's not as charming at all.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
And well that would be interesting because obviously Sat Dennis
is on NBC. If Scrubs is coming back, I'm gonna
go watch Scrub. Sorry Saint Dennis Medical because honestly, he's.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
More like a character from Scrubs called Doug. Doug couldn't
get right, He's just idiot.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
And Danny Doug became subway guy from the community. But yeah,
I'm excited for this.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
I really am to see what happened to my because,
like I said, I said before, there's time my life
where I was just really depressed and Scrub is one
the only thing that came coming from the edge. So like,
these characters are more of my friends than they are characters.
I'm excited to see how my friends are now. Like
it's kind of weird.
Speaker 1 (50:05):
Yeah, and I think really like you could it's their
kids are going to be fully grown up, or maybe
they're in high school and maybe they're like, oh, we
want to go to college, become a doctor or something
like that. But obviously eight, I mean, doctors, you can
kind of you're in your career for a while. I
mean I had a doctor who's like seventy five and
just retired, so you know, they keep them going, and.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
Then there's so much like again, like it's funny to
say that in that flash forward, you know j D
had a son and Turk had a daughter, and then
a flash forward they started dating and then JD Phoine
because it was like the like it was like the
dream exactly. And then something something to do with that,
like doctor Cox had kids did him? And this, well
they weren't really married, they were just together.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
They stay together.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Yeah, Ken Jennings is still around, so doctor Kelsell could
show up, and what is Doc Kessell doing in this
old age that he's still kind of like a philanderer
and a womanizer. Unfortunately that could have played uh ted
passed away? Was Chrich Filoyd's brother didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
So, but so many people with janitors still around. The
janitor is still around. I forgot the actor's name, but
he was in the Middle.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
She did the Middle.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
He was on like twenty straight years, like he was
a regular TV actor and then even like that actually played.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
Laverne is still around.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
So there's so much you can do with this show
and still introduce a new.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
Like Kevin spoiler for Scrub didn't Laverne die in the
show though, so and she was like an angel or something.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
So Laverne died in season I think it was six,
and then in season the Riders track to see the
season seven showed up again, but it wasn't Laverne sister Shirley.
Speaker 3 (51:43):
Okay, all right, that's what we're gonna go with, Okay, j.
Speaker 2 (51:46):
He didn't want to call Australia, so we call it
Laverne again.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Okay, there guy. See that's the Kevin detail Weed Kevin
for who will come back? It's most who crazy.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
He's still around too, like, so it's so many things
that can revisit and take her heart and Cannon closed
down and seasoned nine at Scrubs.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
But you don't mention it.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
I mean it still be.
Speaker 3 (52:04):
Around, it still exists, that the last two seasons didn't happen.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
Yeah, I'm excited. I think all those actors are on
a good spot that why would they not come back.
I think they all like the show and I think
it'll make them, especially like I feel Abatverdal Faison because
he's gotten like the short end of the stick of
always being on a show.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
Then it gets canceled.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
So I think the show that Les.
Speaker 2 (52:24):
Longs with him was that show he did on Lifetime,
Like it was like a couple of shows and like
that with the guy from Seinfeld and rest of park
Way Night that's his name. Other than that, I mean,
I'm still upset, but he was freaking Booster Gold and
they can't Professor.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
X and the power Puff Girls shouldn't have happened. Uh,
but yeah excited. I obviously that probably won't come out
for like twenty twenty six earliest, but a big update
is if Zach Brast attached to it, You're You're pretty Gold,
and if the main persons on it, so.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
It was also a producer and di rector in his
own right in Hollywood, So I mean, if he's attached
to it, it's definitely something's happenings definitely happened.
Speaker 3 (52:59):
It's true.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
But Kevin, there's also been a disturbance, something that's happening
in the force because Star Wars Battlefront it's back, baby,
and we might get a Star Wars Battlefront three if
the Internet has.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
The Star Wars Battlefront video game series is almost kind
of like Family Guy fans back in the day when
they got canceled and then the outcry and the sales
of the DVDs brought it back.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
I feel like the Battlefront fans are that strong, so
this is fun.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
Obviously, Star Wars battle Front two, I think when did
it come out, Battlefront two properly Front two.
Speaker 3 (53:38):
It was E three, so it was twenty nineteen, twenty seventeen.
Battlefront two came out.
Speaker 1 (53:43):
My god, eight years ago that game came out, and
obviously it has a big Infamously the game launch had
big issues loop boxes galore, and that got kaibashed, and
then the big resurgence was the Celebration Edition and everything
they had where it was, here is all the maps
in Spiderby as a Skywalker, here's like five new heroes
(54:05):
and everything, and Battlefront was back. We're like, hell, yeah,
this is what we want. We're on the right path.
And EA said, nah, but we're done though, we're doing
the Battlefront ran. It's like, no, you had it right,
you could have kept going. And mind you, Battlefront two
was coming out during an era where Overwatch, League of Legends,
Apex Legends in Fortnite like all Peak, and Battlefront two
(54:27):
was kind of following in their footsteps of here's new character,
new map, new character, new map, and it was working.
Then it kai bashed it. And obviously Ballefront two would
always get popular again during Star Wars Day because it
was always on sale. I think on PlayStation it was
like four bucks this past Star Wars Day, and brother
John and his groom has been all bought the game
and I didn't because I don't PlayStation. Plus that's stupid.
Speaker 3 (54:51):
It sucked.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
But it turns out the game has had a three
thousand percent increase in players this entire month.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Geez.
Speaker 3 (55:02):
Yeah, and obviously, actually I agog with the wrong article.
Speaker 1 (55:06):
There we go.
Speaker 3 (55:07):
Uh, people have been crying for It's funny.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
It's now a meme on TikTok where people are being like,
give us Battlefront three on random things, not even Star
Wars things. I've seen this meme because you can now
comment with photos now TikTok.
Speaker 3 (55:20):
Pro tip for you. I've been seen on like oh,
we're talking about dances or we're just like an NBA.
Speaker 1 (55:25):
It's like the next game.
Speaker 3 (55:27):
It's a Balfron three. Though we don't want this.
Speaker 1 (55:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
I take it to Battfront two with one of the
extended storyline two rights.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
Balf and two had an actual story Mode Iden Versio.
Janine Gavin Carr played the character, and it was kind
of like after it was Operation Cinder, after returning the Jedi,
up until really up until Force Awakens. It kind of
went through the Battle of kind of ended around the
Battle of Jaku, which is you got to play that
during the game, which is cool, but yeah, I mean
(55:55):
this is dope. It even looks like the actor who
plays willman on indoor manad ben A Moore, He's been like, yeah,
bring its Balfron three. I grew up with Balfront two, Like, bro,
how old are you? You grew up a Bellfront two.
And it's this one that.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
Makes me so sad that somebody says I grew up
with battle It was revolutionary.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
It was revolutionary, and they're like, they got it right.
And I'm a very big proponent of the Balltfront games.
I'm just gonna have my if you're watching the video
version of podcast, I have just trailers up of the
fun things we had, you know, five years ago. It's
when Balfront two ended support for the game, but it's
still going. But if he ain't wanted to, Battlefront could
(56:36):
be their ip call of duty. I mean it really is.
I mean, let's let's face a Battlefield isn't doing Like
who cares about Battlefield anymore?
Speaker 2 (56:44):
You know, Battlefield was a PC game. They tried to
they try to make me the challenger to Call of Duty.
Speaker 1 (56:50):
And ain't working and it ain't working. But like I
think Ballfront two had gold. I think really at the
tie still holds up with the graph fix for being
a game that came out eight years ago and like
you're seeing tattooing, you're seeing ha and or scare if
like we was sure the gameplay party doesn't holdup as
well as it did back then eight years ago. But
(57:11):
I think I think there was momentum for a Battlefront three,
and I think it's an interesting time while we're talking
about this is Internet's like fully absorbed with it. This
might be a thing because EA does kind of like
listen to faring outra Age sometimes that like all right, well,
hey dice, scrap battle Battlefield, just do another battle Front
and give it the people what they want.
Speaker 3 (57:35):
I get you want to have your army shooter or
a military shooter.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
But Battlefield is a I don't say it's a niche game,
but like it really was a PC game they tried
to put you know, console elements into and then tho
it on console to be the challenger to Call of Duty.
Speaker 3 (57:49):
It was good once, but it.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
Ain't been good since, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
But you have another game, Star Wars, which is a
global EP where Battlefield is more of a you know,
a local IP country IP where you can still to
the whole world and people will love it, you know
what I mean. And then like you know, Battleford for
to introduce the space fighting, the force and all that
kind of I mean, it's it's like literally right there,
(58:13):
like it's so smart to do it just to have
maybe not do it annually.
Speaker 3 (58:17):
I don't know, mayfe want to do it animally maybe?
Speaker 1 (58:18):
I mean, hey, it's it's been eight years since the
last one came out, so like five years.
Speaker 2 (58:23):
There, let's start before.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
So yeah, I mean, let's talk about it then, like
what do you want?
Speaker 3 (58:28):
What if?
Speaker 1 (58:28):
Because I've obviously been bigger I think was probably the
bigger proponent behind Baltfront than you were.
Speaker 3 (58:32):
That's okay, I'm not good at online yeah, and I
wasn't either.
Speaker 1 (58:35):
I was just like, hey, let me be a captain
and he's a supporting class of the whole time of
the show.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
What would you want in a Battlefront three? That would
get you hooked?
Speaker 1 (58:43):
Because I think Ballefront two did a really good job
of like blending in.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
All the movies.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
There was some inclusion, not really a lot of inclusion,
but some mentions of the show and stuff the shows,
like what would you want in Baltlefront three?
Speaker 2 (58:54):
I would like more because it was fun, But I
would love like a mode that is just uh space
flights mm hmm, Like so kind of like have Battlefront
three and have a road squadron mode type of thing.
Speaker 1 (59:06):
Okay, so like a story but a story behind it
a little bit too. Yeah, and then of course with
that you have to develop an online multiplayer element and
that just rights itself. But I would love a similar
mode that's like, you know, you can go and do
the story mode for the Battlefront stuff and you'll play
as either in the Empire or the on the rebels whatever.
And also there's a mode for the same thing with ships,
(59:26):
so you can be the Empire. Oh so you kind
of want Galactic Conquest to come back kind of?
Speaker 3 (59:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (59:31):
Yeah, yeah, that's what I don't because I love I
love the vehicles. I'm a vehicle core.
Speaker 1 (59:35):
So yeah, I think that makes sense. I think it
is interesting that after this game, you know, Star Wars
hasn't it's still under the a I P. But we
did get the single player with Jedi Survivor, and we
got Star Wars squadrons, which you know, it didn't get
really monetary success, but like, look looks great, and that's
you know, was your gameplay with more kinder Rogue squadrons,
(59:59):
you know, for GameCube days. I think that'd be cool.
I do think you're right, Like the dog fighting modes
in Balfron two were cool, but they weren't the.
Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
Main thing everyone was playing.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
To a degree, I think it was you could choose
it really, really easily in those modes. I think this
really is do what you did. But I think include
more heroes and villains like we could. We were almost
at the point we almost got a Soca and Ventris,
which would have been real dope just to have them included.
And I think easy is all right. Here's the new skins,
here's the Ahsoka season two skin. Here's a Mandalorian skin.
(01:00:33):
Like you can have a Bubba Fett counterpart. Now it's
Mando and he has a gro gul support or something
like this. Wild that this game came out before Mandalorian
was even a thing.
Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
You know, this is a pre Disney Plus game.
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Wow, they did an updated like we can't add them
too late. Sorry, we couldn't just made a Jango fet
skin or or Boba fet skin. But yeah, I mean
Balfron two did have a lot of maps. We want
nosish we were on, we were on xIC, we were
on Xical. That's okay, But I think just go to
(01:01:08):
any and every planet, it doesn't doesn't matter at this point,
and just maybe give different versions. He's tattooing at night,
here's tattooing in the daytime. Story mode I don't think
is needed per se, But if it explains why some
of these maps exist, that's okay.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
That's okay too.
Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Story mode because because a story mode also that does
like the the easy thing of a t shoe the
controllers as well, so we can get online and play. Yes,
you already know what you're kind of doing.
Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
I will also kind of love them.
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
If they were if they were to do a story mode,
I would love a clone focused story mode.
Speaker 1 (01:01:43):
Yeah, and I think one of the Battlefront spin offs
had a clone clone spin off. It was like I
think it was a DS clone or Battlefront game that
was like your clones and one of you like gets
hurt and becomes a rebel, and one of you works
for the Empire, which kind of wow, Yeah, I think
that'd be cool. I think if anything, and because Bautfront
(01:02:06):
two I think also had it had the main story mode,
and then it had like like a challenge mode two degree,
which is really like, oh, recreate the scenes. I think,
do that but even better, which kind of incorporates Rokes
Squadron because infamously, my brother and I would play Roue
Squadron just like the Battle over the Death Star all
the damn time, because that's like the cool ass scene
(01:02:26):
you want to play, and that's that's dope. Like I'm
watching a trailer now that they're on Crate, which is
you know, the red dust planet that they're in for
Last Jedi.
Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
I think, just just do a baby, give it to us.
Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
I mean, it'll take a while because but if they
have the source code from Battlefront to just do it
and improve it, I would guess.
Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
Right now, the focus on finishing up Jedi Jedi series
still man like, it's been way too long it's been.
Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
I love, I'm gonna probably love and probably the one
damn Starars uh Tactics RPG game I play, which is
that new one they just announced?
Speaker 3 (01:03:04):
But give me that, give me this instead.
Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
I want this instead, and also still and I've forgotten
this kind of it was. I forgot about my teas
of the P five you announced.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
That, and Star Wars Eclipse, so Star Wars the clips too,
waiting for that, Marvel, Marvel Games just all over the
place where you at Star Wars get it together. Come on,
I'm not saying it's easy to make a game.
Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
I know it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
It's expensive and tedious. At least try let's try.
Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
You know what, give me an old republic level on this.
Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
You know we got the Acolyte you can go to
the Accolyte areas.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
That would be really cool to actually because and that
gives you license actually designed anything you want now because
we haven't seen a republic, so.
Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
Now I got to stick to a certain design style.
But yeah, I want to republic too.
Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
Now, just saying give me some inquisitors in there. We're good.
Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
Yeah, obviously it's not out yet, by I think we're
supporting supporters and proponents of it. It actually coming out
because I mean, Star Wars games are good, so I
mean at Battlefront That's why there's been two versions of
Battlefront one and Battlefront two is because it sells and
people like to role playing as if I was a
Clone Trooper or Rebellion trooper in these games, or BB eight.
Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
No one wanted to be BB eight. That's okay, I
don't want BBA.
Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
But it's all good. But so exist Star Wars games.
Even when they're not great, like Outlaws, they still sell.
Speaker 3 (01:04:24):
They still sell.
Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
But let us know, do you want Battlefront three? What?
Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
What do you want in a battle Front three?
Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
Who would you want to play a cat Bang?
