Speaker 1 (00:08):
Welcome back to the nerdy news you need to know
throughout the week on iHeartRadio one.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Bad Gass services around the world.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Because my name's Hoodie and you're officially listening to this
Monday Batman episode of what Kevin on.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
FUSH, I wonder if Christian balek Neew you want to
fill a bad begins that he will set up a
whole generation of Batman fans like that, And then where
are where?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Where is she?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Where's right?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Cheld I'm just like it is funny though, like we're
gonna tell you what we're gonna talk about, but obviously
gonna be Batman because the title of the podcast. But that,
like you are right, like the Batman Batman voice is
that it doesn't change anything else, Like it's it's not
Robert Pattinson's voice because you only have one movie. So
it wasn't like we're used to it a lot, and
(00:59):
it's not Mychael Keaton's voice like it's Rachel.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Because like even with like Keaton, it was kind of
really goes on jo I think they got Kevin Conroy
was kind of just talked third lower and the voice no,
not version bale.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
He went all in.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
He said I got it. I got you to worry. Uh,
but we got you because we got a jam packed
show for you today because like we said in the title,
and you can kind of infer from this, we're talking
to Batman Part two, the rumors, but we want because
we finally have a production start date, which means, hey,
we're finally gonna get this moviefully four five six years later.
(01:45):
You know, no big deal, no big deal, definitely need
to watch it. We're gonna talk about that office spinoff
finally has a trailer, so we can actually figure out
what it looks like, if it's worth your time for
your labor day weekend when it comes out. Mm hmm
okay guy, So Kevin's God was giving me in sounding
all right? Uh, And if we have time, we're gonna
talk about the most expensive Pokemon cards sold ever, Not
(02:08):
just the Logan Paul one that he wore to WrestleMania
or whatever the one was, but all the ones that, Hey,
if you're on TCG Player, which is where you buy
all those like single cards, if you don't want to
buy the pack and just buy the specific card, these
ones are gonna fetch you pretty many.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Funny too.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I always wondered if Logan Paul like if did the
like the kred angle thing where Crediticle.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Never wore a real metal to wore.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Some gold medals was like a card from Kmart. He
got real quick and just putting a little thing warned
to ring.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, I mean that's the thing. You'll never know unless
you ask Himhen you know it's Logan Paul, so he's
gonna fib about it a lot, so you would never know.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Logan Paul is always in character, whether they as Logan
Paul looking Paul wrestler.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
You never get the real guy.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
That is true. That is true.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Uh, but you can see everyone talking about today and
so much more.
Speaker 1 (02:54):

not on YouTube yet we still have so many episod.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Till the end of time. Till the end of time.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
But uh.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Normally we start the podcast with something we like to
call what you do, and we talked about the shows
and movies. We've been watching, games, we've been playing, lives,
we've been living. But any drogun in the chat Twitch
dot TV slash Infant Underscore Pods asked what was the
joking naked gun that made Hoodie laugh for five minutes?
Her brother saw the movie yesterday, wants to know which
joke it was. Now, Kevin, do you mind a joke spoiler?
Speaker 3 (04:27):
No, because the way MADHD works, I'll forget within.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Like, okay, So this had my theater cracking up. It's
probably in the beginning of the movie. Uh. Liam Neeson
when he's talking about Pamela Anderson has his joking. Luckily
or read it hooked me up with the joke so
I can remember it verbatim. She had this is what
the joke in the movie, So I'm not saying this
is what the movie said. She had the type of
bottom that would make any toilet beg for the brown
(04:53):
is what had everyone cracking up, Like what the hell? Like, Okay, sure.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
I would see I found that which wants you to
moving more because I want to hear that. Liam neese
Voye delivered that lineious.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
And it worked. Uh, and it cracked my theater up.
And plenty of jokes in that movie. Definitely check that out.
I know a lot of people saw weapons over the
weekend too, which I heard good things as well. Oh okay,
well we'll hear what she told you about it and
see if you will ever see it one day down
the line. But Kevin, it is Monday, good sir, so
you get to go first. And actually JB. Perry has
(05:26):
asked you a question too, so you can answer that
if you'd like to.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh, I answer you, Jimmy Perry. The chat twitch on
TV such informs score posts showing a chat ask me
how Hey, Kevin, I'm behind the episodes. What do you
think about the Beasts coming back after Summer Slam? If
you don't know who the Beast is, the Beast is
brock Lessner. He has been in two thousand and three.
I feel like you can wrestling since it's been the
last Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Two maybe something like that.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Yeah, yeah, anyway, he is.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
If you're not familiar with him, he's He's like one
of the only UFC Legit champions and also w champions.
He's a very good big VERGA performer for a one time.
He came back last we at the end of Summer
Slam at the end of the Cody Rose and John
Cena match, to a lot of controversy. I would say
for me, I would say, and this is just me.
It's not who do you think is not crisis, It's
(06:12):
just me with things. Wrestling as a business is successfool.
So if if you're choosing one thing to get upset about,
you should triably stop watching wrestling. Because there are a
lot of dead bodies that vary by a lot of wrestlers.
So for me, little and figure, for some of the
older WLS, Jimmy Snooker, look him up, it's disgusting. So
(06:34):
there are a lot of things to be upset about
wrestling that would make you not want to watch it.
I'm not focusing on that thing. When I watched wrestling,
I'm watching a TV show. So when I'm watching wrestling,
I'm not confirmed concerned about Tyler Black, I'm watching I
mean things like I was named Kobe Kobe Lopez, I
think his name is. I'm not concern about Him'm watching
seth Rollins. You know, I'm not concerned about I can't
remember her real name, but I'm not I'm watching Charlotte.
(06:55):
I'm not watchings. Cody Rhodes was the other you're thinking
see his world name is.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah, I'm not. I'm thinking about these people off camera.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I'm watching them on camera and I'm watching the product
given to me, just like I'm watching on TV show
of the Flash Game of Thrones. I mean, there are
a lot of actors. We've watched the many films that
have questionable and personal lives, but we still watched the films.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Yes, you wrestling in the same way. It's just me.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
Yeah. I think it is an interesting take, and it
is weird because they did it and haven't done anything
with it. They had, they had a week to do
something with it, and then they didn't. So I think
they're also WW as the entity is trying to figure
out what to do and see what the pulse of
the crowd is. Uh, And it is interesting and blaying
game of who wanted him back? John Cena or WWE,
(07:42):
and it's a whole thing. So see how it goes,
and obviously, if there is legal precedents, that's what's going
to prevail.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
So exactly exactly, But other than that, what I've been
up to this weekend so far. On Wednesday, Wednesday, sorry, Friday, Friday,
Alicia was out and so I was me and the
kids one of the little daddy daughter's night. So what we
did we went to Walmart because that's what I do.
Oh yeah, with the Walmart, died some food shopping and
I got I got to experience my youngest daughter, Kiara,
(08:11):
screaming for me on her lungs while I'm right in
front of her.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
It was the most embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Right here, what do you want? Literally, I'm walking through
through the dadday like Kira, I'm right here. I'm like,
oh my gosh, what we need to get and leave?
I wanted to kind of make it make it to night,
but no, we gotta get to get the stuff. We
need to get out of here because people gonna think
I'm kidnapping you or something like that. So after we
did that, took them to roy Rogers for a nice
(08:36):
healthy meal and I was.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
I'm not in a show.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Hold, I have a backlog, but I'm at that think
part where like I have anxiety or whatever, like I
can't just outside with to watch. So I decided to
watch on Friday night this season King of the.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Hill and Thoughts because I heard it's good.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
It's charming. It's not just becod it's really charming, and
I'm watching it and then I'm wondering, like, you know
what I understand why I didn't watch King of the
Hill as a kid. I was too young to get this,
and these are adult jukes. Like I remember when I
was a kid, the lineup was like seven thirty, Future Rama,
eight o'clock, Simpsons, eight thirty, King of the Hill, and
Kenya Hill was a show. I kind of like I
(09:17):
had one. I just didn't pay to do it.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
So it was like adult swim of like back in
the day of like, Okay, we don't got to watch
it anymore because Hill was under.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Whatever time, Y gotta go to bed. I got school
in the morning. But now watching as an adult, I
was like, I'm watching his episodes. I'm like, this is
funny and it's charming, is engaging. So I said, no, what,
I'm starting from scratch. I didn't go all the way
to scratch because Keena Hill debut in like ninety seven,
so it's still like SD I don't want to yeah. Yeah,
(09:44):
So it's not around season seven. So I've been watching
The King of the Hill basically all weekend on repeat,
and it's hilarious, Like it's really really funny. He has
some of the worst friends you could ever have, Like
they all just ruined his life.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
But in some of some of those old actors, they
were very problematic, which is why they're not in the
new version of the show.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
So, and then the funny thing is the guy that
that voiced Dale Gribble, he unfortunately passed away, but the
guy that voicing him now was a guy I thought
I always voice him because he looks just like him.
I don't know if did you watch the four seasons
on Netflix?
Speaker 1 (10:17):
No? I did not know.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Okay, because the guy that plays him, that voices him
now with what it was in the final episode of
this show, I was, Oh, that wasn't a guy the
whole time.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
I thought that was the guy the whole.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Time that had had no clue, didn't know that Brittany
Murphy voicely Win.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
I didn't know that.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
I did nothing about the shows. Now I'm like rescovering
a show was twenty years later. Again, So watching a
lot of King of the Hill this weekend, and then
also who the King of the Hill creators also made
something else right the Office Mike Judge, Yes, yes, correct,
and and it's funny. He has a very he has
a great talent of making the mundane interesting because we'll
(10:52):
get into it when when we'll watch for the paper.
But there's nothing really like you know, like you watch
the Simpsons, watch Family Guy, Watch's but it's something crazy
going on there in space Springfield and Springfield Family, Guy's
family gout.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
But like kingle hanlay're just living.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Like Mike Judge made Beavis and Byhead. Greg Daniels made
The Office. There you go, but they both made King
of the Hill.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
You're correct, Yeah, he has a talent make the Monday.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
The mundang just like very interesting.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
So I'm interested to see how far I go here
because I actually haven't finished the new season yet.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
I stopped like episode four.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
I was like, no, what before I go through all this,
let me go back and relearn the characters all again
so I know they're all motivation.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Next thing we know, Kevin's gonna watch Beavis and by
Head and be like, Okay, Kevin's really in a show
now He's watching Bevis and butad.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Bevis and butthead. It was mostly because the animation. Again
this is because its the mid nineties. Yeah, animation just
like Stack and it kind of freaks me out.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Like also, I felt like I saw more Bevis about
it as like as an interstitial of like here's an
MTV in house commercial of like promoting a quick music
video before the next show you watch starts.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Kind of Also like Create to au Force had like
fifty minute episode.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
That's the beef.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I can't watch for more than like ten minutes otherwise,
just get done with a lot. Other than that, I
also thanks for our friends that E got an early
copy of Madden which is launched early launched on Friday,
So I've been playing that. It's take them getting used
to I feel like each year with Madden, they either
pump up a defense pump the offense.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
I think this year to pump a defense a little
too much.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
It's like basically, if you throw the ball, make a catch,
as soon as you can get tackled, the ball comes out.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
So I don't know if there's an update because still.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yeah, or it was just like I need to and
then an other things too, like the throwing motions are different.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Like I'm like, I'm just playing this free update because.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
This is weird. And then so as you've played right now,
what's the standout song on the soundtrack for this year's Madden.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Oh, I got to go all the way back because
last year they included some old Madden songs from like
Madden's past. They put Franz Ferdinand back on the track,
rocking them.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Picked me out just that.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Nothing else is just on repeat on the sading and
the music said. Last last year it was h w K,
let's get the party going, party hard. I've been playing
that for the whole time, last friends firs name.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I love this band.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
We're playing out a lot and looking forward to I
haven't been able to get into reddad fully again yet.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
One of these days, kids, Eebruary, I'm.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Just like, dang, you give me three seconds. I think
my sister's coming over later. And what this is one
my dad taught me, he said, And this is no
no offense. It's some kind of family thing. Whenever you're
in the room with three or more women in your family,
go to the other room because sooner or later they're
going to set their eyes on you and pick you apart.
So when she comes over, I'm coming back down here and.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Stop playing some red dad all right, sure?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
And then they're like, nope, we're coming down there. Kevin like, no,
they probably will, honestly, what's going down here? Like I
wanted to be alone?
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Please put you up to yeah, So for me, I think,
uh pro tip, I really did appreciate this. I listened
to the Paul Hayman interview that Ariel Wanie had earlier
or it was last week. It was actually really good.
Paul humans is a really good interviewer. He can stay
in character but also talk about real stuff while staying
(14:09):
in character. So it was really cool. So if you
like wrestling, definitely checked out because Paul hymans like one
of the goats. He's really one of the wrestling goats
and he hasn't even actually wrestled. On top of that,
your boy has started full way into dragon Ball Dima,
which is the latest dragon Ball show we had in
one season and Donner it's got twenty episodes. I think
(14:29):
I'm on episode six last I checked on Hulu. Dubbed
is there as well, So if you like the voices.
Interesting thing is with Diima, it is the premise is
all the main z fighters, you know, vegeta Goku. Everybody
gets turned into a kid. So you only hear the
normal voices for the first like first five minutes and
(14:51):
then it's the kid actors. So you got the original
Goku actor from our actress from Dragon Ball voicing him,
and then everyone else is like a different an actor
because you never had the kid version of them, which
is cool. Beyond that, very colorful. The theme song is
very catchy because you're like dime a wander like it's
very mystical, like we're doing it, so I wouldn't skip
(15:14):
it if you don't. If you if you're down for
theme songs and animate, yeah, they're they're good. I think
I'm just appreciating more anime theme songs as we go on,
because I think the other day I saw whatever the
band is that sings one of the Attack on Titan
because anime always have a different theme song every season. Uh.
One of the I think is the last theme song
(15:35):
for Attack on Titan's final season, called the Rumbling. I
saw the real band like on TikTok. The real band
performed it. I'm like, hell, yeah, this is scary, but
also it's it's got some wonder in there. At the
same time, I got a trailer.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
For the live action Attack on Titan on my TikTok.
I think it was only losing ship band HM very unsettingly.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
I don't like that at all.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Oh, the play no like the live.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Action movie, like the way they act actually animated the
Titans was like.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Sure that was real because you saw it on TikTok.
Because I also saw something on TikTok that was like,
it was like, it's not Attack on Titan, it's some
different movie, like that's Attack on Titan.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
The Attack on Titan. Because I remember they released the
live action movie a couple of years ago. It never
made it.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Okay, it's the Dragonball evolutions of its time that we
talk about anywhere. Just a blight on the series, that's okay.
Jamie Perry says, you Hockey Show was peak anime intro two. Yeah,
I'm interested. I think once I'm done with Dima, I
think my next move just to have an anime ish show.
I think I'm gonna start the live action one Piece
(16:35):
because obviously season two is coming out this fall. They
did green light season three today when the trailer came
out for season two, so I think I'll be safe
that way, and it kind of streamlines a lot of
One Piece as it is right now, because I've got
time for one thousand episodes.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
So he started watching an anime a while ago on Netflix.
I even pick it back up.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
I can't remember it was called Blueprints.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
What is that?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Is it Blueprints?
Speaker 2 (17:00):
No?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
It was a show. I'm trying to find it right now.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
It was a show about a guy who was like
contracted by this Japanese business owner to be like an
underground fight club between companies. It was really really good
and I got distracted and never went back.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Yes, I found it easy than you Google.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
It was really really good.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Only got through like three or four episodes, but I
was really intrigued until you know, the kids starts crying
the milk, and I used to get distracted.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Now is this dubbed? Was this dubbed or subbed?
Speaker 3 (17:32):
This was dubbed?
Speaker 2 (17:34):
There was a really cool episode where the guy that
he was fighting had this kind of power where like
if he touched you, he would rip your skin off.
But the only he gripped you, So he figured out
a way like to match his keep his hands open
so he couldn't grab him, and started beating the crap
out of all. Right, there you go.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Uh. And then video game wise, I am in the
midst of God of War Ragnarok Valhalla, and I found
the rhythm to actually do pretty well at that, So
I have I think one and a half more times
to go through than I've beaten the story of the game.
Then it's like all the extra stuff. But I'm just
happy I figured it out so i can beat it
for the two of us.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
You have more pictures of me, I said, know what
I'm going to.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
You cannot, but that's what we've been doing. You can
let us know what you've been doing. Twitch dot Tv,
Slash Infinite, Underscore pods. But Kevin, let's get on into
it because it's time for the news. First things first,
it's totally more news because we're gonna break down the
(18:34):
trailer for the paper. So let's head on over to
Reaction Theater and break it down. So if you're wondering, hey,
what's that paper show about, Well, it's supposed to be
in Office spin off or in the Office universe to
(18:54):
a degree however you want. That's probably the proper way
to what they want it to be, even though it's
really just spin off. Well, we've been hearing about it
for a while.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
We knew that Dom Hole Gleason, right, I think that one. Yeah,
I'm getting let's go because of the paper.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Was yes, dom Holes, okay, it was gonna be in it.
We knew Sabrina and Patia Torre, who was the Italian
manager from White Lotus season two, also gonna be in it. Well,
we finally got a trailer. It starts. It starts streaming
a month from now, and we just got the first
trailer for the show.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
We'll discuss it.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
That's interesting. Kevin has no theory, no comment on the
trailer before we watch the trailer. Now. I don't know
if that's good or bad.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
I mean, I watched it twice on Friday and it
just got me like, huh, Okay, that's where we're going.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
All right, cool, all right, Well, let's hit play on
it then we'll talk about it. One, two, three mm hmm. Okay,
I kinda make sure you know it's the office.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
The same people.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Innovate sells products made out of paper, Okay, toilet tissue,
toilet seat protectors, and local newspapers. Ope, my trailer pause,
keep watching it. Okay, Well that looks hmm, all right, Kevin,
(20:34):
you're at the comic trailer pause watching.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Yeah, so this is the guy right here in the innet,
right right here.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
That's all you have to comment on it.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
It's one of the things where I know something, but
I don't know where I know them from. Mm hmmm,
defecating definitely.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Yeah. See, it's usually there's a weird off vibe trailer
so far. Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
There's Stanley.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Well typewriter, old school, old school, they need authentic feel.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
All right. My YouTube just went down, so okay.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Lovely, Yeah, he's back by everybody.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
There you go. Hey, it's connected now the paper. Yeah,
that's that's the trailer. Unfortunately, my version of the podcast
you will not see the trailer because it just collapsed
on me for some reason. But checked out with the
live stream. Kevin got to watch it, so.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
Yeah, so listen. I think this may be a big
pile of nothing. I have to say it like that.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
The characters don't seem as dynamic, uh huh. They kind
of seem as they well just and again, this is
just a trailer.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
It could be awesome. We don't know. The character seem
a little wooden a little bit.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
The main manager guy seems like he's a more lovable
Michael Scott, but just as clueless. And it just seems
like everybody's playing playing a part in this and not
being themselves.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Yeah, and it could be a lot. This is more
of a Hey, this is a concept trailer, and obviously
you'll see the magic when happens in an episode, but
it does seem a lot more akin to, hey, we're
trying to do more like the British Office again, which
doesn't work in the US. It's too dry, you know
which Season one of the Office was kind of like that.
Let's face it, you.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Know, I'm willingly giving a shot, but it will be
hard because it's like, all right, we expect greatness, we
expect you know, seasons five to sixty seven of The
Office in this now.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
But we'll see.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
If it'd been easy, would be easier because it costs
a lot more money. But Office ended, what two thousand.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
And eleven up eleven? Yeah, I think eleven twelve.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Well, it's been easier to do like a ten years
later one hour special of Office twenty thirteen actually sorry,
twenty thirteen. So it would have been easy to do
like a fifteen year later special of the crew going
out and interviewing all the all the guys where they
are now. Yeah, that'd been a little bit better. Now
it it costs more because Jim is now a Hollywood
(23:32):
world renowned director, So I'm not sure how much it
would have cost to get to nail him down to
do a quick, little cool thing. But other than that,
this just looks like you know what I kind him
right up?
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Did you watch Blockbuster Video on Netflix?
Speaker 2 (23:45):
No?
Speaker 1 (23:45):
I did not, which because you said it was bad.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
This feels just like that.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
God, this is gonna be another painful watch where nothing's funny.
I'm just like, I'm watching this what Yeah, like I'm
getting space force vibes, which was on that flag only
made it?
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Yeah, it was. It was a rough first season, and
I even watched the second season. I will say the
only for me, the only interesting thing is the Oscar stuff,
because that is kind of what you just said you
kind of wanted is a follow up of the og series. Hey,
it's a character following up on him. But I feel
like Oscar is going to be more of a bit
player in this, more of like, hey, here's a connecting
(24:23):
Easter Egg than here's actual plot line for Oscar.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
I will say, though, because Mike's putting the chat she
started watching it again. I'm not gonna be the person
that says, if it's this is bad, this ruins the office.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
No, it doesn't his own thing, does it doesn't exist.
It's its own thing.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
You can still pull them up and watch anytime you want,
and it's amazing anytime you watch seasons seasons two through
what was that when you left seven?
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Mm hm, I go to really yeah, And it is
interesting because I know we kind of are in an
era right now where the show comedy, docu, fake series.
We're kind of in the tail end of that to
a degree because you know, we had Brooklyn nine nine,
we had superstore, parks and rec office, but like the
middle modern family, now we just have Abbot kind yeah, Abbot.
(25:11):
I think it's kind of the last one. Abba does
it well because it's something new, whereas this is like, okay,
this is just where's a paper company? You know? Any
other thoughts on We apologize Internet issues on the computers,
so it is what is Kevin? Any other thoughts though
(25:32):
on the show the Paper because like I said, besides
the Oscar thing, it's kind of.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Like I said before, I said, try going with a
clear mind when you watch it.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
If you watch it and that judging on the Office,
that's not fair to it because Office is a transcendent show.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Just go with a clear mine and hopefully get something good.
At of it.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Hopefully one day, one of these days, but Kevin to
talk about something. We hopefully get something good out of it.
Let's go to something. So we also hope we get
something good out of it. Because The Batman but Duo
finally has a production start date, which means the movie
is finally getting filmed, thank.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
God, at least getting started, which is great.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, which which is great. So as of this week,
we now know The Batman Part two will begin begin
filming Spring twenty twenty six, aiming for October twenty twenty
seven release date. Finally, thank god.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
I think The Batman came out in twenty twenty one,
he believes.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
I mean, we're looking at five years and twenty twenty two,
so yeah, four or yeah, five years? Yeah, do your math.
There you go.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Man, it's a long.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Time between see well, I guess maybe not cathechnically, between
Avengers two and fifty one was a bit of a time.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
So a long time.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Yeah, I'm excited. Obviously, we kind of are in a
little bit of a standstill with what's going on with
this franchise and everything, because I think even James Gun
himself has said that Batman is the biggest like character
issue we're running into in the in the DCU because
of like what do we do do we make the
character like Robert Pattinson, do you make him older? Do
(27:13):
you make him? You know, the gruffer dark Knight returns
version of Batman like that from the comics, Like what
do you do?
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Yeah? I mean I think you kind of keep doing
what you're doing because even though it won't end, won't
outright say it Superman and Superman move this came out
is a lot like Superman from DC universe, So just.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Keep on playing those hits.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
That is true. So all this comes from a Warner
Brothers Discovery shareholders meeting. So it was when we were
like the Batman instagrams shared, Hey we're starting production, kind
of how Spider Man has been very active on in Sony. Hey,
here's let me swing through the street. Here's the costume.
And we did swing through the streets. We know you
saw this already on Twitter, but here's an official video.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
This version of DC says, Hey, you're you're gonna see it.
When you see it, I'm excited. I really did like
the Batman. I do think originally we're like, I don't
know how we feel about this, but it did kind
of live up to like, it's a cool, gritty Batman
that like is very realistic and so far. I mean,
(28:18):
one for one did great. You see what happens in
the sequel before you can compare it to you know,
the Joker and having Baine and how that kind of
was a whole thing for the Dark Knight trilogy.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Yeah, that The Batman was like the first real successful
a tempt that has shown you a detective and not
an action stone. The Batman does get down every once
in a while. I know he'll things things springing through
the streets on his grapping hook, the car chasing, all
that kind of stuff, but at really is this detective
who knows how to figures off out and that's what
the Batman did so well. It was basically like a
(28:51):
kind of while saying all of the Dark Knight, it's
a crime thriller that happens to have Batman in it,
which is really cool. I think we do that that's
the best bat movie. Batman begins a superhero movie, Batman
Dark Knight rises a superhero movie. The Dark Knight is
a crime movie that Batman happens to be in. That's
when even do the best Batman movie.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Yes, So the interesting thing is just kind of looking
over because this movie, even though it isn't in the DCU,
you kind of have to play along with the DCU
because that's the move now, and you're just kind of, hey,
if you want to play it along, do what we say.
We have Supergirl the movie coming out in twenty twenty six,
there's a Wonder Woman in development where we're getting Lanterns
(29:31):
as a show already in Peacemaker. We've had The Penguin,
which is set in the Batman universe. But we're also
getting a Clayface movie supposedly in end of twenty twenty
six early twenty twenty seven. So puts a wrench in
things because I think one of the early rumors was
having clay Face in the Batman Part two. But if
(29:52):
you're going to do a villain movie and it's in
the DCU, from what James Gunn has said, probably not
good to double up on said villain, different version in
a different way, most likely near the same calendar year.
To a degree, the.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Fact that we're getting a fully fledged clay Faced movie
before we get a Batman or one on the movie
for that For that matter, I kind of an issue
with the Only reason why it's not a big issue
to me is like it should be because of the
sex of the penguin.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
Thinking it was so good.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Peng one was basically another two hour movie added to
the Batman universe. I kind of wish we would do
more of that in between movies and explore these villains
in a six episode for me, and not just a
full fledged movie. I feel like it there's more depth
of the character because right now everybody is waiting for
Batman to put hands on the penguin.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
They can't wait for it because of what he did
to Vic. We're still we'll never forget Vic.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
Vic did not deserve what happened to him, and it
was still not cool, and we can't wait till Batman
throws penguin through a doorway and stomps on his head
for a vengeance for Vic.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Yeah, and you would you would assume that's how potentially
the Bad Man Part two starts off is. You know,
the peng It's kind of how think of the penguin
as more of the Scarecrow from the Dark Knight movies
where he was in it. And I think I think
it was the Dark Knight that started off with him
in the little like garage car scene, chase or whatever.
I would assume something similar. You gotta remember the end
(31:17):
of the Penguin, The little end of it is Penguin
dancing in his high rise. But then the bat signal
goes off and then you're like, hell, yeah, that's what
we want. So villain wise, Kevin, because I know we've
talked about this, but what is or who or what
is a villain you would like to see in the
Batman Part two? Because we had Riddler, we've done Penguin,
(31:37):
We've hinted at Joker, we've done Falcone, and we have Catwoman.
Who would you want to see in the Batman universe?
I guess.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
To big this movie a frequel?
Speaker 2 (31:48):
What's the word?
Speaker 1 (31:49):
What is the trilogy? Threequel? That thing?
Speaker 3 (31:54):
The thing when we have three movies.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
I think since we are in a world where we
know that Penguin exists, he's gonna be in the movie regardless.
So he's a snod character or kind of scar character.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
You know.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
Catwoman's around me. We know until my busses around, my
idea is bad. After Batman deals with the Penguin did
and locks him up hopefully forever. He comes upon another
case about these missing bodies something like that, and he's
finding all these clues trying to fag out what this is,
and he finally realizes who who it is and when
it gets down there, it's to Quart of Owls.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Okay, So you're thinking Quarter of Ours for the second one. Okay,
so the.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Second one, but the movie ends with him fighting out
the Quarter of Owls again lockdown where the Quarter of
Ours like Dungeon is. That's what the movie ends because
there's a quarter cool collect run where he finds the
Quarter of Owls and Batman loses his mind over the
space of like a week or something like that trying
to get out of the Quarter of Owls. And that's
how the third movie should start, him escaping the Quart
of Valves and seems happened to Gotham and his in
his absence, and then bringing everything back into order.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
So I think it should be quarterbus.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
You're thinking Infinity War endgame type thing sort of to exactly.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Okay, Okay, And the way matt reeveis sys its upset
this universe, a quarterboels works perfectly.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
I feel like with this, Yeah, just because really creep
in there anyway, because it.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Has to be realistic to agree, because you know, the
Red Laer was more of a you know, a bomber,
a fanboy internet thing like that, obviously very heavy, and
the mob bosses in the first one, Joker Barry Kogan
was hinted. That'd be funny if it just here's another
hint of Barry Kegan and that's you get in the
(33:22):
third one or something like that, where a delay Joker
who knows maybe you know, DC's like, just do whatever
you want with Joker because the Joker do sucked, so
you could do whatever you want now, Matt.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Actually interesting too. Just think by now you say that
Joker if he probably won't, but if Dame's gonna wanted
to borrow some Injustice flavors and put Joke Joker in
DCU and what he did Lewis Lane, which was crazy,
that would be kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
I don't know, yeah, I think I think when we
first got teas Batman Part two was the Blue Imagery,
so one thought mister Freeze, doctor Freees or mister mister Freese,
that'd be cool. Wo'd be interesting to see how they
make that like the realism of mister Freeze and his
wife's and cry O sleep and all that type of things.
(34:15):
I don't think they can do. I think you're right
more court of ows. I would say that versus Lega Shadows,
because we did kind of play Lega Shadows out with
the Dark Knight trilogy to a degree and say what
you will. I thought Liam Neeson was a good race
race al Ghoul to a degree. I know it was whitewashed,
but the best he could do, the best catch and
(34:35):
you could get for that character at the time. Otherwise,
I mean, they're not gonna do Baane Baine. It's been
too recent after Baine uh in the in the Dark
Knight trilogy, it won't be Harley Quinn because they're gonna
keep that over and they still know if that's DC
or not with Harley or not. It'd be cool to
(34:59):
see maybe a mad Her or something too. Matt Hatter
would be a good small villain that could play in
two quarter of Owls because I'm thinking like the video
games of the Arkham video games, like Matt Hatter was
like a side quest and it was cool because it
was like a consequence of something like he Matt Hatter
did this because he broke out, which is cool.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
See maybe they did it away, they did it this
way with like maybe the movie starts with like Rob
Patson finally being Bruce Wayne and hanging out with Harvey
Did and showing how great friends they are. And we see,
like we see the actual incident that makes Harvey didn
two face, and we also see the devolution of a friendship.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
We see Harvey Did become two faces.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
We also see Harvey Did and Bruce Wayne not become
be friends anymore because Batman has basically stopped him from
whatever thing he's trying to do. Yeah, because in the
Dark Knight, that's one of the only negative things I
say about The Dark Knight is that two Face felt
like afterthought even though it was really cool.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
It was like, Okay, here's two things.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Too, and here's two face shoehorn. And in another good
one would be Hugo Strange. Now, obviously you have the
whole thing of having a with doctor Strange in being
her Hugo Strange because he is a doctor, but it's
not doctor Strange, but he is a doctor Strench. But
I think that is a cool villain of just like
(36:19):
that would make sense in the Batman world of like
it's a real person really, but like FM with you
and kind of controlling some things. If you have smaller
villains in there, they're also we need to talk about.
Is it was rumored and it's been denied that Robin
would be introduced in The Batman Part two online James
Gunn's kind of debunked it. Would you want to Robin
(36:39):
in this epic crime sog saga universe of the Batman?
Or do you think it's too early to pull a
Robin in that universe?
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Way too early because he's only been been Batman for
like two years at this point, So how's he going
to teach somebody to do something? We still figured out himself.
M I feel like this is way too early for Robin.
And also if Robin's going to be in your DC an,
I mean a DC universe as Damian Wayne. I know
a lot of people are saying that people will understand
that the Batman that Pattinson is playing is different from
(37:10):
Batman's gonna be in James and DC universe and understand that,
But I feel like, okay, now we add another.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
Robin, Like are you doing too much?
Speaker 2 (37:16):
You know? What I mean, two Robins and two Batman's
might be doing a little too much.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
Actually, they should do this, and I know it's technically
a comic and an animate movie. Calendar Man that'd be
really cool.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
Calendar Man would be cool.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Also another one that again really really would be good
at this universe as Hush.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
We're not for man who hush is? Hush is Elliott.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
I can't remember his last name, Elliott something anyway, him
Bruce Wayne grew up together. Both their parents were doctors,
Thomas Elliott Thomas Elliott. Yes, but so while while Bruce
Wayne's parents died tragically and left him and everything, Thomas Wayne,
Thomas Elliott killed his parents trying to get the fortune
and left him nothing. So he became jealous of Bruce
(37:57):
and then eventually he started killing people, taking parts of
their face so he can look just like Bruce Wayne
and take his fortune. It's very chilling, but I think
in the universe that met we created would be will
fit perfectly. Yeah, and then it goes back to the
whole detective motive as well to trying to find out
who's serial kill.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Kill all these people.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
If anything, it makes you want to watch the Batman
and play the Argham games because I'm like, man, those
games are so good. Talk about these damn villains like this,
because that's kind of our basis for a lot of
these villains. Of like, they did it right. I do
think probably shorten the run time a little bit because
it was a little long. The first movie was a
little so.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Fifteen minutes could have been cut out of there. I
argue with that because we did not see The Joker twice.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
But and I do hope I would assume that it
will pick up the pieces of Penguin because Penguin was
kind of more of a an in between show, but
it was I think it was the cauldron or wherever
he blew uh the Penguin lived blew up, you know,
and like because of them blowing up Penguin's base. So
(39:01):
if we do get, like you said, some consequences out
of that and like or and even if it's a
quick line of calm for a kid, you know, hey, hey,
Vic had a kid. His name is Vic. I missed
that day of.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Day I want to see because remember in Arkham Knight,
he has to have monocle, but it suck in there
because like he had an accident.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
I want to see Batman beat that Monica.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
I want to be I wanted to be a wine bottle,
not a monicle. I want to be the bottom of
a wine bottle. And he'd be like, all right, where
we're going with But yeah, so it is interesting just
to like, you have to take a villain off the
board because they're not going to do clay Face. They
won't do Robin. Because if we are doing a Batman
Brave of Them Hold or whatever, where there's a Damien Wayne,
it makes more sense than not have multiple robins. That's
(39:45):
going to confuse people to a degree.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
So say, I don't a lot of people say it's
not that confusing, but it is.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
It's to us because we know that. But then when
you like, okay, but one of them turns into Red Robin,
you one turns into night Wing.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
You know, Bruce Wayne is Batman. Granted later visions on
Dick Grayson became Batman. That was missing when he died,
thing like seventeen different robins, and it'd be that's Dick Grayson,
but that's Damian Wayne. But that's uh this person. No, No,
just do one Robin for one movie and keep this
robbing Robinless.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Exactly, but for now, Robert Pattinson's Batman will be the
version of Batman we all see at your local Spirit
Halloween's because, let's face it, those are opening up now.
Uh but yeah, it's all time to go. Yeah, it's
almost time. I looked it up and it said, hey,
Spirit Halloween opening next week. I'm like, hell, yes, it's
time to go. Will they have everything in stock? Good Lord,
(40:38):
they will not, because they don't ever have anything in
stock at Spirit Alloween. Fully pro tip.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Wait about two weeks and everything will be up actually
on display as well.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Well. But then you got to grab it just in
the right naked time. We're gonna miss it, so you
you gotta play the hand.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
I don't want to scare my kids. I'll have nothing.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
I just want to mess with them with animatronics. Thin
can buy whatever costume they want, but we got to
go through the animatronic hall. They want to get the costume, right,
a passage walk the Green Mile Comel you got it.
But Kevin to go to talking about superhero movies in
the near future. Let's go to the past now, because
(41:14):
email your boy dabbles in some Pokemon cards here and there,
and it's always fun. You see a cool TikTok of
people selling Pokemon cards at conventions and it's like that
card's worth three hundred dollars, but I'll give you one
hundred dollars. Like, Okay, game stop over here. Uh So, we,
in lieu of not having a lot of content besides
talking about the Batman, are gonna do a little quick
(41:34):
hitter of the most the most expensive Pokemon cards ever
sold as of twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
Five, saying because I know I've lost money on one
of these cards because I can't find it. I don't
know where on this list, but definitely a card off
there where I could have made a decent chunk of
change and this is gone.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
And this pro tip. Now, we're not gonna do all forty.
We're just gonna do ones that we think are cool
and everything. So, Kevin, if you can't have that up
in the reaction theater, I think if you worked that right,
I think we were able to get that in there.
Perfect love it. Oh turn into see Valkyra. Kevin had
the add on. Now Yeah, maybe zoom out, Kevin, maybe
zoom out. Well, Kevin's fixing that. So pro tip, obviously
(42:20):
you can now get your cards, any card really U
gi Oh Sports or Pokemon graded at GameStop, which is
kind of like the easiest way to get him graded nowadays.
Obviously there's some fees and stuff. Brother John notoriously this year,
to help pay for his wedding, had a gang Guard
card which might be on this list actually that he
had since like two thousand and two, when you know,
(42:41):
the Joetoe cards were coming out and everything, and the
gang Guard was holographic. He got it graded. It was
a ten and he was able to sell it for
six hundred dollars, so a nifty chunk chain, which is,
you know, it's not as much as these cards are
gonna be worth, but that is a good chunk of change.
(43:02):
So if you got the cards and you're sitting on them,
might as well just send on the game stop get
great and see what happens, because it could help you
pay off some bills, especially with student loans in effect nowadays.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
Man, that is.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
That you're not mad about it. I'm not mad at that.
So we're gonna start off. These are the most expensive cards,
like we said, sold as of twenty twenty five. The
first one up, the Mysterious mountains, Hollow Crystal charis Aard
first edition. It's a chars are makes sense if you've
got a PSA ten if you're wondering how those work,
two ten out of ten, it's mint condition. Essentially you'll
(43:36):
get your most bang for your buck a nine. It
kind of depends on the car, but you could lose
a lot of money. That's because it has a scuff
or it's off centered or something that oh, you had
no control over it just maybe made it at nine.
Will lose a lot of value. But this card, if
you have it out of ten, you could get forty
thousand dollars and eight forty eight hundred dollars if you
(43:58):
had a PSA ten.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
Of that car that is a car, or a hefty
down payment on a home that is a.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Hefty down Yeah, but that's almost I don't know how
most homes cost is down payment, so I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
Well, they want to want you to put twenty. That's
that's at least double. That's really good.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Our next one up, Kevin, do you want to read
this one?
Speaker 2 (44:20):
Two thousand and four ex Team Rocket returns Hollow Torch gold.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
Star Torch Chick gold Star. Hell Yeah, So what could
you get for PSA ten on it.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
For a PSA ten you can get forty three thousand,
two hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Again, that's a really nice BMW. That's a really nice BMW.
So and this is cool if you have a lot
of cards. Sometimes those weird looking cards they're worth a
lot of money. Like I saw a card an EV
card the other day. He's making a dirty face, and
because he has the dirty face, it's worth more money
than a normal EV card.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
So quick, we're going from east of the most right?
Speaker 1 (45:01):
Yes? Correct? That makes me say, yeah, well, it is
only going to get worse, get more depressed, because you
can also have a two thousand, two thousand Tropical Mega
Battle number one Trainer. This card can sell sold at
forty eight thousand dollars one hundred forty eight hundred and
twenty five dollars. This is because it's one of those
cards you get at tournament where only forty two people
(45:24):
got this card. So that's why it's worth a lot
of money. Is it just this Japanese version of this
is just the Japanese version who is only in Japan,
So that makes sense. Sometimes there are Japanese versions of
cards that might be worth more, might be worth less,
just depends on the quantity and all that good stuff.
Dan Pokemon cards exactly, Nintendo. Mike does bring up a
(45:46):
good point as we're going through this. There are there
are kind of multiple versions. If you want a great card,
you can PSA is kind of the most known one
and it's accessible because now Game Stop Beckett also does
it too, but they are a little more strict on
what they deem a ten out of ten versus a
nine and eight, so it might be worth more money.
(46:07):
So your mileage may vary, but the easiest way probably
use I would say probably the Game Supper on your own.
But at thirty seven you can also sell a Hollow
gold Star ray Quasah exdoxis. It's number one oh seven
out of one oh seven forty eight nine and fifty
eight dollars.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
That is unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
Yes, as Leah, if she wants this card, then we
could try to get it for If it's not Katsa.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Right now, she has nothing to do with it.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
Okay, that's okay, Kevin, Can you tell me what thirty
six is?
Speaker 2 (46:37):
Number thirty six is a dude dais Ski Club Match'll
scroll eighty six hundred points. Halo. Yeah, so I guess
this is one of This is a HP card.
Speaker 1 (46:50):
Uh, it's a trainer card. It was in the two
thousand and four. It was for a fan club and
you could get it for fifty thousand dollars. Yeah, oh yeah, Kevin, No,
do you know.
Speaker 2 (47:02):
Fifty thousand dollars is a yearly average American salary. I
believe it, all right, Kevin, We're gonna skip around. Uh, whoa,
this is going number thirty four.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
This one might be something you actually someone actually has,
uh base set, chancey hollow, first editions, shadowless. So this
is if you have a Chancy card when the cards
first came out from back in the day, and it
doesn't have a shadow on it. If you kept it
in good condition, you could sell it for fifty five
thousand dollars. So if you and let's face it, most
(47:35):
of us got in the cards when the first ones
kind of came out, and then Jodo and there was
Fossil and all those fun things. But that might be
a card you actually have, if you have Pokemon cards
from back in the day.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
I wish I could just time travel and rob myself
in my Pokemon cards from.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Two thousand, Hey, put in a ponder, put it in
a sleeve. Do not be like I'm gonna put it
in a deck box with no sleeve and not care
about it at all.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
I'll just steal from myself. It'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (48:00):
Yeah. And obviously, like if you were to google these
cards or going on TCG player, which is where I've
boughten single cards and everything, these going to be expensive
just not even grated as well. So you know, the
interesting thing is nintonin Mike brings up a good point
shadowless and refers to Pokemon that was the first line
of cards before they kind of like got the proper
(48:23):
setting they have. So this one doesn't have a shadow
on the right of it to a degree. So that's
what makes it more money than one that had a
shadow essentially.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Shat so a shadow basically plays your extra five grand.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Damn it. I hate it. But Kevin, let's go to
thirty two because you might have gotten this if you
were really into Pokemon Snap.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
Pokemon Step Contest sixty four Mario Stadium, Arcticuno.
Speaker 3 (48:50):
What a great what good grade? Was a great mid.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
Eighth for here fifty eight and sixty dollars.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
And that's not ten out of ten. That's just a
Nate out of ten is pretty common for a lot
of what people get graded. This was only given to
people who participated in a Pokemon Snap competition, so you
remember them Blockbuster Kiosk days where you print out your photos.
Turns out you could have won this card in pretty
much fifteen thousand dollars if you held on to it.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
You waste your time. Don't even know what was going on.
Been almost sixty thousand dollars richer in your life right now.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
Should have paid attention. You would have had it. You
would have had it. Another one that's cool the Tropical
Mega Battle Bilingual executors. This is a cool visual episode also,
by the way, but we're trying to describe the card
as best we can when we do. This card was
released in nineteen ninety nine. The cool thing is it
was distributed a tournament in Hawaii because it has both
(49:42):
Japanese and English on the card. So it's kind of
rare because it's either Japanese or English. This had both
and sold for fifty nine thousand, seven hundred and eighty dollars.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
I mean that's mad because I had to be in
Hawaii and it has Japanese, so it was no way
I was getting this card and begin with I'm not.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Yeah, and it's got a little human guy on it too,
which is kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
I wasn't going to Hawaii when I was eleven twelve.
Speaker 1 (50:07):
Well you should have. You should have. But Kevin at thirty,
you might also have this one if you collected your
cards back in the day. And this one makes sense.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
Base set Blastoys, Hollow shadow Lists, first edition. I have
blastoids first edition.
Speaker 1 (50:20):
Yeah, it was a shadow list. We'll never know though.
Speaker 2 (50:24):
Sixty dollars was worth now. I don't know if it
was shadowless, but I mean maybe it was.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
And god, dang it.
Speaker 1 (50:34):
Now this is a friendly reminder. Kevin currently lives in
the house is dad owned, So these cards might be
in an attic. If you go in your attic and
look around.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
I need to go up there.
Speaker 1 (50:46):
I think you do.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
My baseball cards are probably worth about a total by
catching all of them, about a good four hundred.
Speaker 1 (50:54):
Dollars as long as you got one, though, Kevin, it
might be worth all of them, you know.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
But it's not a six two thousand four card I had.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
Oh man, it makes my head hurt.
Speaker 2 (51:03):
I'm sad.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
All right, Well, your homework this week is to go
on YEAD. You can figure out what's going on over there.
But Kevin, we'll go to number twenty six. So this
is an interesting way. You can also get Pokemon cards
in case you've always wanted to know the twenty thirteen
Pokemon World Championships Pikachu number one trainer. This came out
obviously twenty thirteen. It was rewarded to the first place
(51:27):
winner of the twenty thirteen Pokemon TCG World Championships, which
is why there's only six copies ever distributed. A PSA
nine got sixty three thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
Again, I was never going to win the Championship of
twenty thirteen. I was busy getting married and going to school.
Son maybe has upset, so.
Speaker 1 (51:47):
All right, So if Laura Kevin lives in his house
that his dad he used to own, and Laura that
hoodie back in the day won a Yu Gi Oh
tournament and got a card. I also threw that card away,
and I figured Carla should have get that card.
Speaker 2 (51:58):
It should have got damn it. Uh.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
Same thing with you, gayo, like if you want to
go remember uh and Pokemon did too. If you saw
the movies, you got the Mew card, and then eventually
it was like a couple of other cards. Yugio had
the same thing when he saw the U Gia movie.
It was like, oh, you got a shining blue eyes
dragon or something that's worth a ton of money too.
Oh God should have got them. And it came in
the DVD too. If you got if you got the DVD.
Speaker 3 (52:21):
Remember remember the DVD.
Speaker 1 (52:26):
What a time, What a time, Kevin. We will now skip.
I'm just kind of goose. The lot of these are similar.
We'll go to number.
Speaker 2 (52:35):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
Seventeen seventeen. This is a twenty nineteen card, so it's
not that old. It was a six year old card.
Speaker 3 (52:46):
An extra battlefull day art.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
The ly heard of this.
Speaker 3 (52:50):
This is this is new to me.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
But at a grade ten you can get one hundred
and eight thousand dollars. That's that's that's really good. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
That's the interesting thing is a lot of these cards
modern cards, they sell more if they have cool art,
you know, like the chart. Obviously, if it's Charsar or
a Blast Toys, they'll sell bigger, especially if it's a
ray Quas or something like this. But this is just
a trainer card, but it looks cool. It's in Japanese.
Apparently the only way you could have gotten it was
participating in a Promo day battle, but for one hundred
(53:19):
and eight thousand dollars you were lucky to participate in
that battle pre pandemic. I believe you buy yused Bugatti exactly. Yes, Nintendo.
Mike did also mention, you know, art ultra rare. That
also affects the cards and all that good stuff too.
Speaker 2 (53:35):
So always be collecting, getting them packs ABC, always.
Speaker 1 (53:40):
Always be collected. Baby, let's go number trying to look
at these ways? Oh, number twelve, Kevin, can you read
that one for me?
Speaker 2 (53:51):
I forgot what help is in Spanish? Is a Luki
o'hallow card, first edition And I never had one of these.
Release date wasn't two thousand on a grade of ten.
One was sold at one hundred and forty four thousand,
three hundred dollars. Hell.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
Yeah, so this is kind of one of those rare
cards because it was the Neo Genesis Expansions was kind
of the first ones for the Joto. It's hard to
grade because there's manufacturing issues. So if you got a
PSA ten worth a lot of money, but also looks cool.
It's just a cool little record.
Speaker 2 (54:26):
It is Kevin, let's go, now, let's go number Let's
go number six, Kevin number whatever, number seven ones was hilarious.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
You get there?
Speaker 3 (54:40):
Oh, what the heck is going on with that? Number six?
Speaker 2 (54:46):
Is a Pikachu Number three Trainer Bronze Trophy card. This
was from the very first TTG tournament nineteen ninety seven,
sold at auction at a grade of eight for three
hundred thousand.
Speaker 1 (55:00):
Hell yeah, now with the Pikachu stuff toy included, just
the card is what is worth that much money?
Speaker 2 (55:08):
I want to like, I won't say a market, but
like didn't like the best American players ever get flown
to Japan to play the best Japanese players.
Speaker 1 (55:16):
Well, I think nowadays it's just the one. I think
as far as like no, based on my knowledge, it's
just the one tournament like per year for everybody. Obviously
they have like regional championships. I think back then in
the nineties was here's the Japan Tournament, and maybe America
had one throwback Kevin, do you remember this throwback where
there was a VHS that taught you how to play
(55:37):
the one trading card game and it was two tapes.
It was two tapes back in the day.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
I actually watched it with my cousins.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
We were going to start going to Toys r Us
on Saturdays and play because something to get us out
of the house. We went once and I lost.
Speaker 3 (55:52):
He almost won but then had the last second he
had a bad draw. He lost too.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
It was a fun day. Our homework for next week
is we are going to play the trailer for that
movie for that video thing if it.
Speaker 1 (56:04):
Exists during the what You Do, and it has too.
It has Number five is a Blast Noise, which is
Wizards of the Coast Galaxy Star Hollow. So it's a
fun fact that I've kind of learned this because my
actual graded uh Pikachu which Nintendo Mike is a Becket.
So look at that over here. It's a nine. Uh,
(56:28):
it's not worth that much, but it's okay. Pretty much
Wizards of the Coast essentially, they were kind of taking
over and making Pokemon cards for a time. So a
lot of those cards are rare because Wards of the
Coast did magic. Yeah, they bought a bunch of things.
But it's a Blast Toys. It's shiny an eight point
(56:49):
five would get you three hundred and sixty thousand dollars
in twenty twenty five. Yeah, oh man, this gets you
twenty dollars. So that just shows right now, Okay, all right,
and then Kevin, here's we go. Number four. These ones
make sense immediately.
Speaker 2 (57:06):
Number four is the one we all wanted as a kid.
Base said Charsar Hollow first edition Shadowless on nineteen ninety nine,
with a great ten.
Speaker 3 (57:16):
It can get you four dollars.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
Hell yeah. And remember this is kind of what reignited
Pokemon card collecting five years ago to the hot common,
Like it's always been a thing, but now it's too
much of a thing to a degree obviously because of
this and Logan Paul and everything, but so much so
that they've re released this card like probably fifty times now,
(57:40):
and it's like, oh no, I haven't No, you have
this version from twenty fifteen that is worth two dollars.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
I'll get mad.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
I'll get myself because when I as a kid, actually
I had a Beni sword and I had blast Charge
are though still.
Speaker 1 (57:53):
And that was the thing back in the day. Even
though I feel like it was easier to get Pokemon cards,
it was harder to get the cards you want it.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
Yeah, because like when you when you go to like
when we were kids, like Barnes and Noble or borders
where you get them, or even like they have them
like at a CBS. It's all the same pack, so
they never really.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
Like got or you went to the Walmart where the
card section was by check by the checkout section, you're like,
we don't need to go back to toys. We have
our cards here with Kola.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
Yeah, that was I didn't know about that as a kid.
I always was I went to the bookstores. But it's
like you guys, never do you guys have get a
new merchant or you just get the same something all the.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
Time, Like we don't know seventeen. We honestly don't know.
The third highest selling Pokemon card as a twenty twenty
five is a Trophy Pikachu silver second tournament card from
nineteen ninety eight. Ten got four hundred and forty four
thousand dollars. It's from the first ever international Pokemon TCG
tournament held nineteen ninety eight, So only fourteen of these
(58:49):
cards just a Pikachu with the hollow background really in Japanese.
But yeah, a lot of money for it.
Speaker 3 (58:58):
Actually maybe because we kind of scored.
Speaker 1 (58:59):
We went through a lot. But I don't know if
this is an accurate list. But this is the list
that our friends at Dick's erto post and if you
posted forty of them, if you're like, it's pretty accurate.
You got your numbers right exactly, number two, Kevin, what
is it?
Speaker 2 (59:15):
A top Son charge are blue black card? This is here.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
The card was auction.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
This car was a promotional piece that could be found
in boxes of gum in nineteen ninety five, nine tinety five,
the only Pokemon was here yet.
Speaker 1 (59:29):
I just started here actually I think the games had
just come out. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (59:33):
It was created by top Sun make some of the
first Pokemon cards with.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
A grade of ten. It was sold at auction for
four hundred and ninety three thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
Oh yeah, it looks cool. It's got that OG that's
the thing Pokemon, the OG graphics, the od little anime
style and that sort of art. Top ten maybe can't
go wrong with it. And a lot of it was
because of printer issues because they couldn't get the printing right.
So like the the where the white is was where
supposed to be color is the printer faded or whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
That's the craziest thing.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
A lot of these cards are expensive and worth those
my money because it just faulty technology makes me upset.
Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
Four hundred and ninety three one thousand, two hundred and
thirty dollars seems like a lot. Well, you can make
more with the number one card that you know, Logan
Paul does own. It is the Illustrator core Coro Comics
Promo aka the Pikashoe Pikachuo Illustrator card owned by Logan Paul.
It was released in nineteen ninety eight, where essentially it
(01:00:35):
was a magazine. Corecor magazine held an art competition where
winners were given the card as a prize, and this
has the world record for the most expensive Pokemon card
sold at a private sale, where Logan Paul well, it's
value on auction, I don't know. I think he paid.
(01:00:55):
I think he paid this it is worth five million,
two hundred and seventy five, five thousand dollars for this card.
Logan Paul wore down one of his WrestleMania entrances.
Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
There though, like okay, after he wore it down and
it was watch wrestling once they were to gear down
to the ring. They give us like a bitch a
stage hand and take it back from the back. I
want to do like security guard with him, I think,
I logan Paul kind of gets away with having his boys.
I bet you gave it to one of his boys,
is like he'll handle it. Yeah, but even still that
(01:01:30):
boy might had a gun on him at some point,
like you know, yeah, I know what that is.
Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
You give it to him on but Kevin, we can
switch on over back to the normal view. Boop, there
we go. Love it?
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
That just goes to show if you got any collection,
maybe just see how much it's worth online.
Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
You never know, really, question because I got these cards
here that you wanted to gifted to me for my birthday,
the scarlet Violet one.
Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
Is there any chance that any of these cards in
twenty my kids are grown.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
They could be. They could be, Kevin, So maybe get
some top loaders, some protective sleeves on some of them,
the fancier ones obviously, and see what happens.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
There's a there's a mew in here, so I might
have put that muwe in the.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
Safe and make you a little your nest egg of like, hey,
I have something for in the will open this safe.
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
It could be cards and magazine.
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
Yeah all right, this is my fortune. I love it
to you. I'd bequeathing to you.
Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
I'll love you forever.
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Yeah, but yeah anything now like put one fifty one
was kind of like a year ago. Now, Destined Rivals
is the new hotness, which is a lot of likes
and a lot of the cool team up cards. They're
worth a lot of money. Like I'm trying to buy
a Jesse and James card soon because it looks cool
and it's the only Team Rocket Jesse and James card
(01:02:56):
that's like that. I'm like, it's worth forty bucks now,
but potentially in five years it could be worth two
hundred dollars, So.
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
I mean I might give me hope.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Right here, he said that one fifty one set is
pretty sought after. Thank you for the whole utent of
mic now, but like you said, forty bucks now, so
I don't kind of hidden behind that pole there, but
the original Megazord.
Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
Right somewhere there.
Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Yeah, yeah, behind a pole there, fucking get it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
Hold on, here we go. Kevin's getting going back in
his room to find his toys.
Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
Now, I know when my wife got this for me.
Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
Now pause before you get this, Mike said, the one
fifty one set is very sought after because I still
want to finish it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
Mike, my wife brought me this in twenty thirteen or
fourteen when after we first got married and this was
on sale. I believe that tors and rust for once
it was sixty seventy bucks. I've seen these in box
and out in outside of the box for as much.
Now is four hundred, so so just takes time.
Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
Basically, this is us telling our wives and families if
we die, you have a nest egg. You just have
to figure out how to sell it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
So this entire room you can. You'll get money, but
you have to figure out. So that's on you. We
can't help you even this. Uh, if we blow up
one day, this little crist.
Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Picture, it's a vintage crisis Boster.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
I'm just saying me and Hoody could be retire off
that if we blow up and become like the kind
of funny your podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Never Know, and you can help us get there by
following us at Infinite Underscore Pods on Instagram or the
ex go giving. It was a perfect ending, Kevin, because
that was the last thing we're going to talk about,
or you could be part of the conversation Twitch dot
tv or YouTube dot com, slash Infinite, Underscore pods, and
to help us fund our hobbies of collecting Megazords and
(01:04:52):
Pokemon cards. Make sure you use your Amazon Prime account
subscribe to us with Twitch Prime. It's completely free. Helps
us improve this podcast, helping make it better for you

Hoodie one, there's a bunch of Kevin one's, there's a
Teddy one as well. Use them to your heart content.
Andy Dragon used it perfectly last week with I Want
(01:05:15):
Spider Man because Kevin's new emote works perfectly with that.
But we will be back on Thursday, potentially richer because
we sold some things. I'm going a feeling mysteriously.
Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
Look it up.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Yeah, here's the thing. I think you and I also
need to take a picture of our current inventory. And
just in case something goes missing in the middle of
the night, because our part wives listening to this podcast,
we know what was taking you know.
Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
I can lock this door actually, but anyway, my name
is Hoodie, and you've officially listened to this Batman episode
What Kevin Crisis on infinite pocauld so bast years
