animated series and Spider Man Brand New Day. Yep, we
(01:05):
got excited about a super reveal and a couple other
details that'll happened over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
On a brand new Day.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
It's kind of got joke, uh huh. I didn't watch
that one, I guess, but to see every they're gonna

Twitch game. We now have a motes. There is now
a Hoodie mote. So if you put in a little
chat or you looking at the little mote thing and
put hoodie.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
And see if it pops up. I cannot see because

at that remote from me hoodie. That's right, we did it.
We did a baby. But the coolest thing too is
if you got Amazon Prime you also have Twitch Prime.
You can help this podcast grow and flourish even more.
Help us work on fun of motes and all that. Literally, Kevin,
I think one of these days you were and I
just gonna have a little session where we just pose
(02:15):
net post net post no post.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Also they're not even more work. But I think we
need a teddymo too.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Well. There is a Teddy emote in there, so you guys,
So if you type Kevin, you get three emotes, Teddy
one and meete Sorry, Kevin need the start of the show.
Apparently with the emotes.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
I guess I'm the star. I don't think the statistics
say that.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah. Sure, but you can also be part of You
can be part of the conversation so much more there
as well. We love to interact with you, learn what
you guys watch and learn what you're doing, and so
much more, get your opinions on things too. It is
funny the emotes. For some reason, I had a bank
of them, like ten They all disappeared my MacBook deleted
(02:55):
them or unsorted them so I can't find them again.
I'm like, where the hell all these faces that I've
had for like forever.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Of MacBooks just something doing and doing what they want
to do. Yeah, no, nobody told you to do that,
not today and not ever, same thing without Look account.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
If you got an Outlook account, it might have deleted
some of your emails and didn't realize it because sometimes like,
where'd that connection? I had from four years ago.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Go trust me, I know. Uh now I look automatically
the least emails I think after like a month and
a half, it sucks me. Look, I knew I had
its context.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
I need that state House.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
And that's gone.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Just adult things. What we're gonna do, Kevin? We start
the podcast, probably something we like to call what shit
do it? Where we talking about the shows and movies.
We've been watching games, we've been playing, lives we've been living.
Because it is Monday, Kevin, you get to go first.
Good sirt, my turn.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
To go first. Well, before I tell you what's going
on with the Whites, let me make sure I log
into my little database here. Okay, I do have some news.
There have some travel news.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Oh, and I'm hoping you.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Aren't planning a second wedding in May.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Why would I have a second wedding, Kevin, I just
got married last year.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Because May fourth through the thirty ninth, we uh embarking
on another Disney cruise.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Hey, there you go? Which one, Disney Destiny.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
This is the one that has T'Challa in the main hall.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
So I'm really excited now you're really excited about that newness? Wise,
how new news. I don't oh twenty twenty five, okay.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Okay, yeah, so this, uh, this ship actually sets sail
in November, so it's not actually being debuted.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Speak break it in and this this.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
This will be like their I think their seventh ship
and then their eighth ship is the one they bought
from Cornvo. They're not gonna repurposing into Disney ship that
was only sailing and mostly like Asian locations in Asia.
Basically you get them found that we're doing that when
I gotta go to like to Singapore or China.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Oh, this got the hercules show that they're like testing out.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yes, And like I said, this one is kind of
based more on the heroes and villain's motif. So there's
a lot of marble cephone there, and there's a Marble
restaurant on there. There is a Pirates restaurant like Priates
Caribbean restaurant on there. I'm excited to go go to.
There's also a hunted mansion bar, which my wife is
excited over and she's a big mentions her thing.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
This one looks dope. He's got a ride, an aqua
mouse ride.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Okay, yes, yes, because it's kind of like a roll
a watercoaster on the on the ship, and but this
one they have something on the dream but this one
actually has like little a little animated show inside of it.
Run yeah, so to speak, but just inside. So that
that would be our vacation for next year. It'll be
Cara's first cruise. We're excited about that and I'm just
(05:47):
happy to get back on the boat man. I'm a
cruise guy.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Give me on that boat, a boat man. Now, where
is it sailing out of?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Out of Fort Lauderdale. We're going to nasau O, Bahamas,
which is like whatever, I don't care about that, but
also going to the New Island look out key would
be interesting.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Sure. In Disney Island.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, Disney Island. I do want to try. That's this one.
I need trying to the cruise line. I need to compare.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
I just need to go to a different one. Maybe
just making a little variety a little bit.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
You know. Yeah, so I want to try you the
Royal Caribbean. I'm not doing Carnival because of the documentary
fortunately turning off car it is it's Royal Caribbean in
memsc mad Norwegian, one of those three. But I'm I
just know that the rest of my life. If anybody wait,
Dogation Cruise.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Can we go again? Okay? No, how about Disney, Kevin,
that's the same option for both of them, Cruise and Disney.
How about both them?
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Like everybody's talking about it like that. That did TikTok sound?
Can I go swimming? Can we go to cruise?
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Uh? Now? So Kevin's not gonna have any money for
the foreseeable future until this cruise. So if you if
you need to borrow money from Kevin, that's not the
man who want to borrow money from right now. Or
I want to help me, please subscribe, Please help Kevin
twitch dot tv underscore pods where your Amazon private account
can help Kevin twitch bron you can help me go
(07:15):
on the Disney.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Other than that, of course, it was a big wrestling weekend,
so Slam rule the household this weekend.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Oh yeah, you want to talk about now?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
We want to wait or we want to do it now.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
We'll talk about now because we'll talk about that and
then the other thing that came out this week for yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Uh yeah. Man, two great shows. I can't decide which
night was better, but I'm leaning towards Night two.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Night two is more entertaining. I feel like, yeah, yes.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yeah, yeah. But kicks off night one, well what it
was the awesome match between she can't even remember right now.
It was Roman rams Jay so against whatever the name of.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
The Bron and Bron, Bron and Bronson.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Really cool, really cool mats, really cool scene, romantic to
save for Jay. And then that night just kept like
it was just a roller coaster emotions for the rest
of the night. And then we thought we saw the
light was seeing Punk went in the championship. What a time?
Oh god time, I tell you. I actually I turned.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
It off, so you turned it off before the cashing happened.
As soon as I heard burn it down, I turned
it off. Well, here's here's the funny thing. So Kevin
and I are in a group chat with pretty much,
uh majority of my bachelor party where we went to
WrestleMania to WrestleManias or one WrestleMania go now, and it's
(08:36):
pretty much all the guys that were like super into
the wrestling. So we call wrestling and it's Joe Hendry
Pitcher and uh, we're taxing throughout the night. I had
to pause it because I had to take Teddy or
more facetimed me on it, let me pause this because
it's too loud right now to FaceTime, and then I
played it and I completely forgot that I had paused it.
So when seeing punk one, that's why I texted the
(08:57):
thing clobber in time, thinking all right, we're done, and
I was like, oh no, behind it was funny.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I was texting with you guys. I've texted some friends
that work too. We were doing a group text and
I actually texted them I'm turning it off. Now, can
turn it off? I was like, no, Jack Hannis's Wildlife
is not on my TV. They're talking about like what's
going on. I'm like, wow, I didn't know the whales
had a different language. So the rest of the night
on my other was just wal fact. But still, even
(09:25):
though I hated it so much, I hated so much,
it was still a fun night wrestling.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Seampunk was champed for five minutes, so we'll take it.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
We have to because who knows when they will get
it back. Then. Then then the second night again, another
awesome opening match with a triple for between Rhea, EO
Sky and Naomi. That was a lot of fun. Mean
that Naomi's dad was like a famous.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Guitar's cool pilot. And then I had to be the
TC match though match.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Oh my god, those tablespots were insane.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Exactly. Now, just give those tag teams just a different match,
because there's so many we went to they had a
T match for the same titles, So okay, we so variety.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
A good point. The tree props rid of that too.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
And DIY and it's like, a right, we need to
get some variety. I love attag teams, but let's do
different types of matches please, exactly.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Another great match last night too was Becky Lynching and
Lav Carry.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
I thought it was really funs zip Tize like that
one Yize.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
I kind of like the psychology of the zip Tie.
I think it lasts a little too long, but I
like the psychology of it.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Well. Unfortunately, the Jacoba solo so call match, that was
kind of a dutter for me.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
I thought that was cut for time. I feel it
should have been a lot longer.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yeah, and I think some stuff went wrong, so they're like,
all right, well this is the ending anyway, that is
what we're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I think that one, and also the AJ styles and
Doma felt like both of them.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
That one was Okay, that's the most I've seen dominic
mysterio wrestle. But they need to turn that man baby
face because he's got the crowd. We're rooting for him now.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
One match I didn't really enjoy too much was h J.
Car Gal with Tiffany Stratton because I just feel that
match was a zero something total because neither one of
them CHAMPIONE is not ready to be championed, so I'm like,
we need to get his battle somebody else because I
don't think they can carry the company. I think they can.
But of course we were all there for the main.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Event, John Cena best match in years.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Oh my god, what a great match.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
We're not going to tackle out the very end because
we're still figuring out how to acknowledge that part. So
that one, it's confusing because you're like, well, yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Someone to the idea of the reason why he came
back because somebody made parton somebody. But that's again it's like,
oh my gosh, the mo ramfication of this one man
on TV right now, which just too much.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
But the match was amazing. Yeah, the match was really good.
H I thought I kind of wanted to see that
the word I'm not gonna because I was like, I
want he healed Cody Rhods, but I don't think the
Cody Roads is now in the position of John Sene
or we can't turn heel for the first future. So
he the did window.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Because he has an all time meme moment now of
him coming out of the elevator with a smirk on
his face.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Yeah, and him doing the sunset flip but power or
whatever it's called.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, that was really cool and it kind of remind
me of the match cap in like ten fifteen years
ago Sean Michaels in Rick Flair was.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Basically pulling their stocks. Yeah. Well, and that's the fun thing.
There's the think that's the thing was Sina was doing moves.
I was like, I haven't seen Sena do the leg
drop in forever, and it's kind.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Of like he said what he said. He kind of
got did what he said to make you hate wrestling,
and his matches before this one but not interesting. They
were boring. And then he was like, no, I can
still do it. I just can't do it.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
This was one and done. He's gonna take a break.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
And then hopefully on a risball we get our Randy,
Jordon Sina, Randy Orton, Cody Cody roads On Robbery coming up.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Soon, give it to me.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
I do wish that Edge was still. We can get that,
get that kind of rerun to of Seena and.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
That'd be kind of cool. But last we will not.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
You can't have a thing. We have Raw in about
three hours, so we'll see what the fallout is and
go from there because the.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Next big thing now tack me and Coach. It's my
turn tag me and Coach Boom. We're still talking about
w W uh because w W Unreal came out last
week too on Netflix, and I thought that was really good.
Uh it was. It was pretty much the road WrestleMania build,
and I thought it was really cool a lot of it.
If you follow wrestling a line or you play two
(13:27):
K you kind of know some of these things. But
it was really cool just to see the behind the scenes.
WW always has a good dude does a good job
with their docuseries. They kind of were doing that for years.
They just went like a step further with it and
I was allowed because I finished it. I think the
day of SummerSlam and Netflix always like changes things on
the fly. And said season two coming next year. I'm like,
(13:48):
hell yeah, let's go running back, Let's go.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Funny. I talked to defense at work and some of
the I want I don't want see older, but like
people have watched wrestling longer than me, which is not
a lot of people, but they didn't like it, and
they said it exposed too much. But I felt like
it exposed just enough to make you kind of want
to see more, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
If anything, it made uh, you know, more people prone
to in my office knowing who Chelsea Green is and
appreciating her. I'm like, oh, yeah, she's married to Matt Cardona,
Like I know her because the figure hunts and all
that stuff. And then and then she got bigg in WW,
so it's all good.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I like the two because because especially a lot of
like the writer's room, like you know, idea farming. He
kind of reminds me of being to being in the
precial meetings at work. Like I'm just kind of what
we do at work, just not for wrestling.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
It's not you know, involving people hurting their bodies.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Here's a news story was saying what we want to
talk about. It kind of just pull things out of there.
I'm like, this is kind of like, well, you can
do this. Didn't need you to looking at job job boards.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
I get in that room, I'll be quiet for the
first couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
It's really cool Connecticut, though, I don't know to take
that's true.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Well, the apparently moving, so the rumor is they're moving,
so we will find it.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Go to Vegas. Man, But I think about it again, Well.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
That's what we've been doing. But there is one thing
that your boy did that is newsworthy. So let's get
on into it because it's time for the news.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
It's talk.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
No no, no no no no no.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Man.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
First things first, Oh, I don't have the sound effect.
I probably should have downloaded it because.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
We're gonna break down Gotta War Ragrock.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
In twenty twenty five. It's a little late. Just literally,
here's a review.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
The game is five years old.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
It was great. So the challenge I've had the probably
just smart and April something like that is I finally
started Gotta War Ragnrock, played Got to War twenty eighteen
last year, I think, and then Last of Us that
took a little bit, and then obviously when two K
comes in that takes over our lives. We're talking WW
not NBA two K. But you boy finally beat God
(16:02):
of War Ragnrock this weekend because more is away, so
your boy had nothing to do besides watch Summer Slam
and play God of War.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
I love that what I was, but wa, we devolved
into our twelve year old selves. It's really amazing.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
I forgot to eat at one point, and I was like,
let me eat, Okay, I gotta eat.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
I'm so dizzy.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Oh man, my head hurts. So I didn't drink any
water today at all. No wonder besides that coke I
had for lunch. That's all. I've had fifteen cokes. What's
wrong with me right now? All those chocolates have had
Oh boy, those bond buns. But I finally beat it.
Pretty much where I'm at right now, I just have
(16:40):
the the Valkyrie Boss, the Berserker Boss, and the Musulheim Trails,
but everything else is done so we can talk full
of spoilers for God of War Ragnrock, a game that
came out three years ago did not do Valhalla. We'll
talk about that in the back end. But my god,
I thought Krados was gonna die and he didn't die
the whole time.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
How did you feel about the twists?
Speaker 1 (17:02):
I knew about the twist unfortunately, so that that was
the one thing that spoiled to me. But this whole time,
I'm like, how the hell is Credos gonna die? I'm
like I got two missions left, Like what's the back
end of this game? Like how is this gonna work?
If I want to like retrace my steps? And no,
it wasn't Krados. It was Odin who died.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Odin the whole time. He didn't die well either, Like
it was a very.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Swift Yeah, he killed his son. So there was a
path Crados and a Tres could have gone down, but
they didn't, So that worked out.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Did you like the final.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
I did? I pretty much. Actually, that whole I don't
know it's technically a mission, but that whole Asgard to
War scene was like, oh my gosh. I was like
I felt like I was an Avengers endgame, Like it's
just hitting the fan. That's Yerman gone there, the big
ol steak over there, that boat blew up, we go.
You'ren't hitting the wall yet.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
I was speaking of Orman Gunda. Did you did you
hear about the enjoy about the Easter.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Egg potentially, I don't know. Well, you tell me, Kevin,
I'll tell you.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
So when Cradles blows the horn, the signal at the
beginning of Ragnarok, that's the horn. You're here in twenty eighteen.
Who's blowing a horn? Who's blowing a horn? Because when
he blowsed that, it spands space and time.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
I didn't know Yorman Gunder was this was the giant snake.
Was the snake you give you give the spirit to
with the traces level, I was like, oh, I didn't
really connect the dots until mymir was like doing like
a boat a little cuts. He was like, oh, anything
about yourman gun brother, Like okay.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Because even when when you break down the main language
he was in twenty eighteen, he says, I know you
come to trayas because you know, I mean it did
yet he did? Did he already is spacing.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Timehll circle We love it? Uh Fenrier love that, you
know because Teddy is here. So that was that was adorable. Yeah.
I think that that back third of that game. It's like,
oh yeah, let's go keep going, keep going, keep going.
I pretty much did all the collectibles before that like
final thing, and I thought that was worth worth it
because you got all the side stories and really cared
(19:09):
for the characters. I made sure Freya was in her
battle armor before we even went in, because like, you
gotta be in battle armor now growing and the Witch
which closed anymore.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Also, I wanted to ask you about the Heimdall fight.
It wasn't satisfied to hit that.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
It was it was very worth it. And I was like,
because it's funny because I saw cut scenes of that,
like when it came out on TikTok Forever Ago, and
I'm and people not hitting them at all. I'm like,
I hit them within like five shots, Like I figured
out the pattern real quick. Guys, I don't know what's
going on.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
You looked like for me, rage, like sped up best process,
Like no, I want to hit.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
The Oh I bet he was rage. It is funny though,
because God of War that this both of the games,
Like you get to a point where you're in the endgame,
it's like, okay, now I got to really pay attention
to these armors and the abilities I have. And or
I can't beat any boss, you know, like I can't
even go up against him.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Whenever I played God of War, my my tragedy always
to be a tank. I can take all the damage
I want, because I want to do all my power
up moves, basically because I'm not I'm not gonna, especially
if you've got a war. I wasn't good at paarying.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
I'm not good at paarying. I get it, but then
I don't know what to do after, Like Okay.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
It's like it's like you panic.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I did, Oh no, I didn't.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
This is great. Pairing is like it's like it's like breathing.
I got you boom whatever you know. Forgot to war.
It was really hard for some reason.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, I loved uh oh. I hated Brock dyed because
Brocko was my dude. Uh Brocco. I was like, this
is Kevin. Kevin is my Brock. He's just he's not blue.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Well, I'm happy to know that because Waye Sentry took it.
I don't want you to become super villain.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Well, and that's the thing I'm like the whole time,
I like, Sindri's got red eyes, like a Sindri' gonna
backstab my ass over here. And then obviously didn't happen,
and he killed Oten and then you have the the
funeral like epilogue mission to a degree uh, and he
just bounces out, I'm like, we're gonna get some resolution
on that, or you're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
The most top breaking part about that is the joke
that Brock told me me and you can figure out.
Then he says, I figured it out.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Oh my god, dude. And the whole time, so that's
like that starts off for me, like we're in the
crater the crater was great, which is a side part
of Vanaheim which is whatever, and it just like explores
and like, oh, if you want to get to this area,
you gotta do three things over here to open up
that area, which is great. But that joke started in
(21:36):
that area for me, and this whole time, like I'm
at the head of this game, like I have not
heard the resolution?
Speaker 2 (21:42):
What is this?
Speaker 1 (21:42):
What is the answer? And then I'm like, oh, and
like the funerals, like we didn't get that, Oh no,
you figured it out. You knew what it was.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
So said, did you go back to what was it
called the Briarwood and talk to Tracey's quote unquote girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Oh, Jodenheim. Jodenheim, Yes, I did, which is cool because
I was worried because I saw like, oh, you can
go back there, like I don't want to do the
ox thing and go through the water, and I was like, oh,
thank god they blocked it off. So it's just this
tiny area. I love the dialogue.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Between between Cradles and Ingramoda because it's like a proud dad,
like you want to you want a good picked a
good one.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Spoilers, but yeah, overall, loved it. Treyas wasn't as bad.
I do think I was better playing Krados than a
Treys because every time like, oh, I don't know how
to do these things. There's too many buttons and I
can't do the archery thing.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
At the same time, oh yeah, Treya's has a character
is much more palatable than because first when you kind
of want to like listen, dude.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah, we needed we needed to talk. But it was
cool because like, just because we have so much pulp
culture over Norse mythology nowadays, of like oh Loki's Mask
and I'm like, oh, son of a mask, remember, and
then there's.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Actual Loki in that one, so and I mean again,
this is this was a great clothing to this chapter.
Of God of War. There was a rumor a while
ago that supposed to be in a Treys like a mouth
Mola style of Treya's game, but I don't think it
ever came out or it's canceled. We don't nobody yet.
There's been rumors that the next one is going to Egypt,
which is supposed he was an original plan for this series,
(23:18):
but there's nothing to have been solid for a while.
I hope there's an update soon, I think.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
So. I mean, I know I'm three years late or
two years late on this game, but like.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I was four years late eighteen one, so don't feel bad.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yeah, I really dug it, and I think that's my
that's my vibe of game, that last Last of Us,
and that really why vibe. Well, and I'm excited because
I got Last of Us too. I got Dragon Ball
Sparking zero and then I got I got the n
charged uh Nathan Drake collection or whatever. So I'm excited
to play those.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Eventually, maybe play all together.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Okay, okay, I'll be a little homework. We'll figure that out,
all right, all right, when we're ready, when we're both ready,
we'll get started together.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Also, now you finished both games because I'm still up
to that mind sat that the only person that play
don't One of the only actors I think they could
play Cradles to the tee is right now with Batista
because of what he's done so far as career. What
do you see right.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Now with right now? I mean, Christopher Judge would be cool,
but I feel like that would be a cameo more
than anything. And the other thing is you gotta get
them in that whole white body paint, like regardless of
their of their skin tone, they have to be that pasty, yes,
pale white, you know, and that story behind it, because yeah,
it makes sense. I mean, Triple A pretty much a
(24:30):
part for part shot, but Triple A chan acting like
it was Triple H ten years ago. Maybe, but I
don't think it's I don't know, because I feel like
Patista is the only like bulky dude to be credos
that like with star Power, Mamoa could be a good
option too. Maybe, Yeah, that's good too.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
I would like that. I kind of wish what's her
name from the Young Underworld series.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Kate Bag back in sale.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yeah, I think she would be a great freight up,
But I don't know. If you're still acting or not.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Oh, Tom Hardy could be good or Gerard Butler, either
of those two could be good.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
To Gerard Butler will be an amazing credos. He would
be an amazing credo that goes like yeah, all right
and actually cradles new King Leonadas. So it could work out.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
You could work out. But we'll talk about those probably
later this week when we talk about the state of
video game adaptations. So because I'll be fun, so a
little teaser for that, but overall and enjoyed it and
I'm excited tod. I think I'm not gonna I think
I'm gonna try the Hello once. Kevin said it's a lot,
so I'll probably just watch the cut scenes.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
It's tedious, and that's why I'm like okay. For me,
I was like, I got kids, I got top of it.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Let's face it. Kevin and I are not dark souls
or blood born or elden Ring players, So that's why
we can't do those type of things in the endgame missions.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
At one time.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
We were at one time and it was like a
one off chance the one day when it was like seventeen.
Those days are long, so I'm like my hands.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
There's too many buttons, so.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
I can't do it anymore. But excited for that, nonetheless,
But something we're also excited for that you know, isn't
technically is in the past, but it's celebrating its fiftieth
anniversary next year. Star Wars a New Hope finally come
in to theaters. You know we're gonna go see it
in forty X. Baby, you and me have a date
(26:23):
to see it in forty X. I can hear now,
you know what? Full on. I'll bring the helmet, I'll
bring the jacket that I have, and we will jam
out the time.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
We should totally bring up both of our helmets. I'll
get one too, and good, the whole thing coming in
too fast.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Oh, brother John will bring his helmet and jacket. I
get intern John. He has a helmet too, so we're going.
I can make Eric where the dar Vader helmet. We're
good to go.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
It'd be great. We did what movie? You guys here
to see it? Just pants us and.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
About you? You know what movie we're trying to see,
you know. But yeah, so April thirty if twenty twenty seven,
Oh wait, what twenty twenty seven?
Speaker 3 (27:09):
It was twenty twenty six. That's interesting. I thought this
was next year. Huh, okay, we got two.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Years not bad.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Coming.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Ohit is it twenty twenty six or twenty twenty five?
What year is it? It's twenty twenty five. Why the
hell they wait a second Star Wars. That confused me.
I thought this was next year.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Oh wow, that sucks.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Oh wow, okay, why do we announce it now? That
was stupid. I thought this is next year, all right,
Abel thirty if twenty twenty seven will be the fiftieth
anniversary of Star Wars. So Star Wars are New Hope.
Oh okay, starting in twenty twenty six. New Hope will
play in theaters over the May fourth holiday. Okay, there
we go, gotcha. That makes its starting all right? That
makes more sense. I was like, wait a second, I
(27:56):
thought for sure we were good.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
It's still exciting, though, because I mean, I've watched every
piece of Star Wars media ever release, maybe save for
the old old Joy cards.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Oh pause, Kevin line, it's April twenty twenty seven. What
the hell? Come on, guys, wait till next year, then
continue now.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
No, I'm just saying I've watched every piece of Star
Wars media ever released. Probably safe for the Old Joy cartoon.
I've never seen that.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
I don't know where it is, Kevin, you miss. It's
on Disney Plus. Take a listen to it, and.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
I think it's magical. As a New Hope, I'm sorry,
like I know that everybody loves and agrees to it
and probably tricks back. It's the best Star Wars, but
the New Hope is my favorite because nothing puts me
in that mindset.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Childhood Glee is that movie. I mean it's the first.
I mean for everyone, our Age is the first, well
I mean mostly everyone, Our Age first Star Wars movie.
You saw Phantom Menace might be a close second. For me.
It was kind of hand in hand. But like we
saw a Phantom Menace, we saw her and if now
give me the good, give me a New Hope, you know,
put me and put me in that death Star trench run.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
I mean, sometimes on a on a good day, the
scene where Luke Sawark and listen to the Twin Suns
and a four steam plays and I had a rough
day sometimes that can move me to tears.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
And if we see it in forty X, I want
two bright ass lights in my eyes, like, oh my God,
what is that? Put the blast shield down?
Speaker 2 (29:26):
But yeah, the New Hope. It is my favorite Star
Wars movie, and I can't wait to see this. I
saw it in theaters joring re release in like the
late nineties, right before Fanto minutes. But I was in
the theater since, so this would be very fun to see.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
I don't yeah, I don't think I got to see
it when it re released obviously, like we have it
and we own it on Disney Bus. See in theater,
that's a whole different thing, you know.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Yes, the theater is nothing. I don't care what size
scene you can get. Nothing beats to unless you build
a full South theater in your home, which I mean
some people are looking enough to have. There's nothing like
going to the theater see mothing like that.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
The theater in AMC we make movies have. But nonetheless,
we're excited. That's two years from now now, and I'm
kind of bumm because I thought it was next year.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
It's something to look forward to.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
And I was like, oh wait, we are getting the
Mandalori and Grogut next summer. So okay, we get calls betnefit,
We're good.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
So we put that trail to be released and we
can talk about it.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
I sat talk about Dave Filoney apparently talked about Star
Wars Rebels stuff, and I'm like that sounds good or
not Rebel sorry season two aka Star Wars Rebels.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
I'm like, yeah, good, she just knew what it did.
Did the Thunderbolts just like exit out and pull up
Star Wars Rebels.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Yeah. I mean at this point, but Kevin talking about
Disney properties, Let's go from Star Wars one of the
bigger Disney properties to Black Panther one of the biggest
Marvel properties, and probably Disney properties overall. Because we're gonna
talk about Eyes of Wakanda.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
There is.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
So it's the new animated Marvel animation put out. As
four episodes of Ease were about thirty minutes long. We're
not gonna do a full in depth review because they
were a little short and it's not like a full
movie and it is more of a historical thing, but
it's part of the MCU technically, so we're just gonna
do thoughts and then just the highlight moments. So, Kevin,
overall thoughts on Eyes of Wakanda.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Pretty good. I mean, Marvel's track record with animated content
even before on the MCU became a thing, been a
little spotty, it has been as hidden, Miss has been
as like straight and narrow, as like DC where's everything's
like fire. At one point, I've been a little hit miss.
This one was more hit for me. Now I am
a huge Black Panther slam Con fan. It's because of
(31:42):
the way I grew up, YEP, But I actually enjoyed
like kind of going through the history of Wakanda before
we knew it as the most advanced technological.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
But it still was advanced, but not just advanced exactly.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
And then then even seeing the genesis of the the
the war Dogs basically kind of what this was the
show covers, and seeing them going through the time periods
of you know, the the Detroit era with the you know,
the Trojans and I don't remember, I don't Greece. That
(32:17):
was really cool. Seeing them kind of be fight pirates
was awesome. Seeing them through actually things that we know happened,
like the It's funny the episode last episode when I
was talking about the Ali invasion of Ethiopia, I had
just like watched some TikTok videos like two weeks ago
about that perfect sweet I've done homework, didn't you mean to?
(32:37):
But seeing all that was pretty cool. The vost acting
was was amazing. The action some episodes I like to
action better than other episodes, but that that animation for
for for a battle battle animation, that's gone a long way.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
For me, the standout for me moment was the way
they connected this to Black Panther. Was like, oh, that's.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Which was the last episode. We had four episodes into
the lines, then legends and lies lost and found in
the last Panther, So the last episode was your highlight episode.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Yeah, I mean I did like the iron for the
episode episode two, but I feel like this is just me.
If the Iron Fists is in your nation's borders, you
call the Black Panther that's yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Yeah, I do think the first two episodes I did
vibe with those those main characters better than the back
two characters, the back two main characters or group of characters.
But yeah, anything else keV on your thoughts on the
on the on the episode.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Just what you say. Like the main character in the
third episode, one of the Iron Fists, he was kind
of a little silly for me. Yeah, too much silly
for me, kind of seriescandas are serious. Take the seriously
like you're Unbakubacle's earned that.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
You haven't earned that yet, it's your one episode.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
And I did also, I did love the the vision
of the Final Black Panther or the Last Black Panther
and last episodecause of the time travel. That was my thoughts.
Oh no, I enjoyed it.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Yeah, I enjoyed it too. I watched them all today actually,
and I thought that into the lines then was a
really good strong of a start. I really think this
show isawa Kanda. I get what they're going for, but
they should have called it like war Dogs or something
like that. I get it. Not a lot of people
are gonna remember that freight the herats Zoo. I think
it was what it was or something along those lines.
(34:32):
But I'm like, oh, this show is literally like about
like kill Monger's dad and his friend. I forgot what
of the friends was, but like, oh, it was Forrest
Whitaker's character.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Oh what was his name?
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Like it was about like those type type of a condas.
I'm like, oh, that's kind of cool, just like dumb
reclaiming weapons and everything. Obviously, Chris Williams voicing the line
the villain, and the first episode was dope. It was
cool to see like, oh, what Conda's attacking people? This
is interesting. Oh okay, it's a rogue. Well kind it's okay.
I see Oh oh okay, I got you, I got you.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
And then I thought was I thought it was cool
that there was a through line with the first two
of the main character from the first one then was
like the leader of the war Dogs in the second episode.
I was like, oh, that's really cool, and I thought
that was gonna happen the other two. It didn't because
it was just a big time jump, but overall it
was really cool. Iron Fist thing was dope. I do
think it is interesting Marvel Animation is the back door
(35:33):
of Iron Fist into the MCU because it's the second
Iron Fist technical we've gotten because we had what if
had had Iron Fist as well? And then the fourth
one was really cool. We'll talk about that. But the
final scene in a minute. But did you catch the
Watcher was in the last episode as well, Kevin, You know, yes,
So when they get stopped by future Black Panther, I
(35:55):
guess it. They're there, And it's funny because, like I
saw the scene and then I saw a clip of
it after him, like this was like this how could
have happened in any episode? And it is like they
look at the son and you see the eyes and like, hey,
there we go. I love it, Dad, I'm looking right now.
It was great, but yeah, really dope that you started
to notice, Hey, some of these weapons look familiar. Yeah,
(36:17):
because he saw him in the damn Museum from the
beginning of Black Panther, in the Killmonger scene, so much
to so that they drew it up and animated that
scene at the end of the last episode, which is
cool that that was really cool to see Kim Walk
was standing there, and then it kind of be sad
agains like dang, why to kill him?
Speaker 2 (36:33):
All?
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Shoot, we've been great, could have been great, but I
think we are like, well we are got in Baku.
We can't two characters are essentially villain to turn redemption.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Well, I feel like Kim Walker couldn't have been redeemed
because it's been kind of like the lokey you don't
know where his just lie because he cus to himself
to help you for.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
His Here's the thing, though, Kevin, this is a what
what what if kill Kill Monger lived, Michael B. Jordan's
still in the m c U. But then you know,
unfortunately Chadwick bos and passes away. Then like all right, well,
well does Michael B. Jordan's He Killed Monger takes on
the mantle of Black Panther. And it's like, wait the
Fillain one. That's weird.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
That that could be one. I want an episode that
You're right, that'd be awesome. But I love, like I said,
how it's connected to the original Black Panther and kind
of made me want like a season, another season kind
of keep going through now that like like like I.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Guess modern one, yeah yeah, four Modern times.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah yeah, yeah, But that'd been kind of cool to see,
Like I mean, how Will kind of is reacting to
like you.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Know, World War two, World War One?
Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean I never really really fun
to see. And then also I kind of now because
of this, I'm spoiled. Like I said, I want, I
want more episodes about like the I can't remember what
it was called, but that that that enchanted Land and
shang Chi what are they? What were they doing through
the time period? Yeah, what was going on in Asgard
to the time I won't see all of that spoiled.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Kevin just wants to read those comics about Marvel and
the Renaissance area. It's like, what's lot they'd read.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
I do still think that they're going to figure out
some way to make Shank iron fists.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
I mean, Shang Chi Chu would be perfect for you
to introduce. I mean technically the what f episode was
kind of that to a degree too, but that'd be
perfect to introduced iron fist in and make it better
than what it has been.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
So I had high hopes for me Karate Show and Netflix,
Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Oh no, no, Shouldnight have gone with the Night of Flowers?
That was not the right guy to go for this role.
But overall it's pretty good. It's two hours, so if
you're looking for some marvelffix, definitely check it out. It
is technically cannon in the MCU, so sure as furtherest,
(38:46):
we go back in the MCU to some degree for
at least what kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
This is the first thing in the MCU now apparently,
which I guess it makes sense because I mean that
that power time was like it's like.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Twelve hundred, yeah, twelve hundred, thirteen hundred or something like that.
So yeah, pretty cool. Animation is really good, and uh yeah,
the Marvel animation is hitting again. Got that X Men
ninety seven, Spider Man and what If and then Marble
Zombies coming out potentially in September.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
He's puzzled, but we'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Yeah, I mean it depends how they do. If Marble
Zombies is what it like, is it just the what
If animation just longer, because I'm got those gotta be
like thirty minutes, like to keep me entertained. It's fifteen minutes.
I'm like, come on, like, we can just keep going
fill out the rest of the fifteen minutes short.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Someone full length at least thirty episodes, at least at
least thirty.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
Thirty because the other thing is like, do I does
it canon too? That What If episode? Are They're just like, hey,
we're doing our own thing because I'm like, remember Thanos
had the zombie Infinity call it at the end of
that what If episode.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
Which is crazy, how does the zombie have worth? Ale like, oh,
I know what I can do.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Stap Well, he died he zombie when he had it,
so he didn't get to snap it before zombie fighted.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
And now if he snaps his fingers go, So that
was the I don't.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Think into what if they addressed how they came zombies
right or did they? I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
I think it was a virus. Okay, let me get
your watch a virus.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
I feel like we'll get the trailer for that pretty
soon because we've had this come out now, So.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Is that October or September?
Speaker 1 (40:14):
It's supposed to be out of September because then wonder
Man is supposed to be I believe November, So like
this September October, than wonder Man would be November.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
I mean, it's interesting to see how wonder Man is
received because nobody knows about who that guy is.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
Oh yeah, goo, My team was in character. They were
in Fantastic four, and people didn't realize he was in
character and not playing himself or not being himself on
the blue carpet for Fantastic four. But Kevin talk about
upcoming Marvel projects, let's talk about it. The elephant in
the room, not really the elephant in the room more,
(40:47):
I guess the rhino or the scorpion in the room,
Spider Man, Brand New Day, not even that more than
mister negative in the room spider Man Brand New Day.
Spider Man Day was a couple of days ago, and
in honor of that, Sony said, Hey, you guys like costumes,
let's show you the costume for Brand New Day because
(41:08):
we just started filming, an you're gonna eak it anyway.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
I remember I saw this kind of leak as a screenshot.
I saw the spider and then I looked again later
and I was like, oh, that's the whole thing. Cool. Yeah,
that's kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
And as you can see, Kevin's popping it up right now,
the trail or the reveal suit trailer. I don't know
if this is a trailer technically for the new suit, because,
like keV said, yeah, sure, it was just like a
shoulder a foot, but we have it at like zero
point five speed or whatever just to make it worth it.
Repeat every twenty seconds. Tom Holland, full suit. We've seen
(41:46):
the mask now, because if you're like me, you had
a mute a lot of accounts on Twitter after the
suit reveal came out because all the leakers like, here's
the suit, here's the villain, here's everything going on. But
it soon looks dope.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
Cool and like you said, like, as soon as this
was released, it was like, all right, here's the st
here's the villain, here's some scenes.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
They're on the street, w on the tank sweet Like
it's too much now, all right? I like, I liked
a couple of them.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
My one question when I saw the super was like, hey, cool,
where's Spider verse three?
Speaker 1 (42:19):
That's what I really care, which is a good question
because Miles Browns's birthday was today, as this podcast according
But to the costume, it's got the raised webbing. It
looks a little it looks like a marriage of Toby
and Andrew suit, which is in line of that's what
you know Peter Parker of our universe would do, Like
I like thir shoots. Let me put them together. I
(42:40):
can make those.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
It's like Toby's webbing with Andrews Spider manm Yeah. And
also it looks like it's a deeper blue than what
we saw at the end of A Far from No
Way Home.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Yeah, which is totally okay. I think you don't like.
That was more of a hey, we've got the classic colors.
I'm like, all right, cool, now let's like make it
practical for a whole ass movie, you know, like make
it work, and.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
This will be the first two he's had that doesn't
have any like, you know, special stuff with it. And
now he's just Spider Man.
Speaker 1 (43:08):
Well as far as we know, because you look at it.
You look at his wrists for that one little bit,
and he's got she's got some chonky web blasters. So
oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
And then we saw Spider Man and Spider Man and
Marble Marble Spider Man on PS pet PlayStation. He has
a lot of gadgets in that game, so maybe he
has the gadget in this one as well, maybe just
to take some of that, or will they just refer
to the old Spider Man. But he has like a
tracker webbing and that's about it.
Speaker 1 (43:33):
Yeah, Kevin, you get switches back. We've seen we've seen
the suit enough by now. But the interesting thing is, uh,
with this coming out, Uh, I think still July twenty
twenty six, I believe from.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
Think it's a really close. I guess it gets done
in a year, but I feel like that's really really
really close, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
July thirty first, twenty twenty six is when it's scheduled.
It is in the middle of filming now really like
probably like the first week of filming more than anything
in Scotland, Glasgow, Scotland, I believe, where we've seen all
these leaks happen. I mean, if the main things you're
really animating is Spidey in the suit, web swinging and
maybe the villain, like, it's not that bad of a turnaround,
(44:16):
I think. Plus, I think Sony and Marvel are like, hey,
this is the next thing we got going on, so
like we got to put all effort into it's spider Man.
We don't go wrong with Spider Man.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
It's a fourth Tom Holland one, and all in all
it is the four is the ninth live action Spider
Man movie, So maybe the the the animated way to
animate website. They kind of have down to a science
where it's like copy paste and play, you know what
I mean? Yeah, is that that hard? I just feel
like we're gonna get an announcement. Spider Man has been
(44:47):
late September twenty five.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Like ah no, which would suck because it's like, well
that's the only thing, Like the Avengers got delayed. This
is gonna getting lay next. I mean, Spidey is a
good fourth July July movie. I think a lot of
them have come out then and makes sense. I think
we're all kind of yearning for the next Spider Man
movie just because we're like, all right, we finished it, now,
(45:10):
like what can they actually do with Spider Man having
like his own Spidery stuff. But to that chagrin, we
found out over the weekend because of all the casting news,
Mark Ruffalo's Hulk is supposed to be in the movie too,
officially now Ruffalo's Hulk.
Speaker 2 (45:25):
There was the name again. They were releasing everything that
they showed scenes of on John Burnhal like on the
streets of their New York. This is gonna be a
chunky boy of a movie. I still think this is
this is about Spider Man trying to stop Punishment from
killing Bruce Banner. I feel like that that that's the
plot of this movie.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
Hm.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
I'm probably wrong, which is Tolely fine. I'm not a writer.
I just feel like, if if the chest pieces are
Spider Man Punisher in the Hulk, obviously the Hawk did something,
and well maybe the Hawk did something and now he's
Bridge Banner and not trying to find Bruce Banner because
you know, the Hulk destroyed another Borough in New York.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
Yeah, I think it's really gonna be Hulk. Will remember
who Peter is. That's gonna throw them off, like you're
gonna like, oh, it's Hulk. I don't know because you
have to find the line of all right, well, the
MCU like he's smart Hulk. So what is the thing
that causes Hulk to go back to normal Hulk and
Banner to be Banner?
Speaker 2 (46:19):
The question is when that spell was cast, was he
in transition between coming smart because remember in She Hulk,
it was a point where he's Bruce Banner. The lady
came back as a Hulk. So maybe, but at the
time where he was Bruce Banner and then memory's gone,
he's a Hawk And I was like, hey, Spidy, I
remember you.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Yeah, exactly. So that's an interesting conondrum. Obviously, Like you said,
John Burenthal, Sindaya, Sadie Sink, we've kind of theorized a lot.
Jacob Battalion, his ned Eliza Cologne's Ayas is in it
from the Bear. We're still not sure if she's gonna
be a backdoor real morales just to like, hey we
have it just in case.
Speaker 2 (46:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
Uh, but another interesting uh confirmed casting because I know
there's rumors of Tombstone and other villains coming in. Michael
Mando will return as Macgargan aka Scorpions since Homecoming, we're
finally getting it address nine years later, baby.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Finally paying off that that wasn't.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
I mean, it's cool.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
Scorpiated is one of one of Spider Man's I guess,
like Day one villains.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
Yeah, that is definitely a he's fighting him in the
beginning of the movie villain and like, hey, they wrapped
it up and we're good. We're going to the real villain,
which will probably be at this point Mister Negative confirmed
by Tanks with the logo of the Mister Negative villain sichgoons.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
I do hope to say he sink rumor isn't sure
and she's not playing future Spider Man's daughter.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
This movie has a lot going for we only need
future now. There's a lot of I mean me as.
Speaker 2 (47:52):
A combac nerd do it. But for like the actual
people that they're going to pay to the movie to
give them money, that's a little much of them.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
I feel like, well, the other room, she's gonna be
Gwen Stacy. I saw over the weekend. Oh my phone
everybody said hello Gwen Stacy, which would be interesting because
I mean, hey, Amma Stone did great as a as
a redhead to a blond, so you assume Sai could
do the same thing. So I'm fine with Gwen Stacy.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
I'm find Felicia Hardy, I'm fine with known. There's a
couple of other fider man fem fatales she could pick from,
but please just don't be future future Mary Parker.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
That's a lot, yeah, I think. Also it's like, all right, well,
how does that work with MJ. You know.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
So, for example, there are some people because just spent
some Black Panther three members leaked out, and some people
were saying that they're gonna do the Intercalactic Empire. Oft
do that. That's for me, that's not for everybody else.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
That is a lot. We're kind of kind of set
it up and already for that though.
Speaker 2 (48:50):
Okay, the world is ready for the Empire. Wakanda, just
do something about I think that. Remember I read it's
gonna involve other past Black Panthers. That's cool, that's cool
because Black Panther has a lot of mistism with it.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Yeah, they you know, like Avatar a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
You know, but don't be like you have a planet
so they just come here, Like, no, that's a lot.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Don't just drop that on you don't either right now.
But overall I'm hyped. It is cool, like just seeing
Tom Holland on the occasional ones that didn't mute or
block on social media, just like hanging out with people
in the suit, which is really nice. It's just shades
of like home dudes. I mean, he's been Spidy for
almost ten years by the time this movie comes out,
(49:29):
and it all went started when he did the umbrella
scene on Lip Sync Battle, which no longer exists anywhere.
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Do you think they'll use us because this is this
is an MCU movie, But do you think some of
the uses that as opportunity to kind of tease at
least Spider verse three?
Speaker 1 (49:43):
No, I think if anything, like I said, the it'll
be Rio Morales is the back door of like, hey,
the mom's here with kid is at school. You know,
Miles is at the academy or whatever he's at. But
like he's in here, we just can't film him yet,
you know.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
Because supposedly the the the data is that Sony is
not letting the MCUs Miles. Yes, already have plans.
Speaker 1 (50:10):
For him until until Spider Verse is over, and I
think I know, beyond the Spider Verse tentatively what's still
called right now, I don't think I know we're this
it's the same, Lou. I don't think we need the
live action crossovers of like here's all the here's Tom
Holland and Toby McGuire. I'm like, I'd rather just stay
with the characters we got, you know, because like we
(50:32):
technically already did that with No Way Home. So because
I mean, one of.
Speaker 2 (50:38):
The reasons why they're doing this whole encouraging storyline because
it kind of happened in the comics, which is why
in the comic books we have Malon Rallins and Peter Parker.
But you don't want to I feel like you don't
want to create that, like that's my Spider Man's that's
my part of the narrative, like on social media and
all that kind of stuff. So I'm fine with them
waiting until Spider Versus three is over to get mouth.
(50:58):
I was just finished Parder Verse three. I want to
see what happens. He's still hanging on the web looking
at his evil self.
Speaker 1 (51:03):
Does not know. But yeah, we won't get that until
twenty twenty seven either, so you'll see Star Wars and
then Miles Rounds in the same theater.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
I guess's drag season three before we get this movie.
That's crazy to think about.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
How's the Dragon might be done? But Spider Verse it
might be because we got that. Funny thing is you'll
forget we get that other Game of Throne show coming
out later this year is the Tale of the Night
or whatever it's called.
Speaker 2 (51:32):
Yeah, how dare they teach us with two release dates
and we missed.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
Both of them. It is what it is. But yeah,
overall good news for the Spider Man front. Like I said,
probably best practice is just mute Spider Man or mute
the accounts posting it mostly.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
Marble Spider Man three. On PS five, we get Spider.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
Verse three, that is true, and I'm expecting insomniac dad
this suit immediately to the game, like, hey, we didn't
get no movie suit. It's like the first game.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
Hey movie suit, movie.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
Suit, now I want it, And whenever they showed me
beyond the Spider Versus suit, I want it now. Come on,
you can't give me any DC for this game. You
can give me that. You can come to service subject
movie suit, movie suit, It's easy. You've probably known about
it for at least a month now, that's funny. Well,
(52:25):
that's does it for us here On today's episode, Yeah,
we talked, we ran the Gamut God, a lot of Sony,
a lot of Marvel talk today, a little bit of
Star Wars.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
The Star Wars wa DC news. We got peace Maker
up on the horizon. That'll be fun to watch. I'm
already thinking that is gonna be a bear for week
by week because I feel like we wanted more every week. Yeah,
and I have to wait another week.
Speaker 1 (52:47):
And the funny thing is we're gonna predict things. I'm like,
it's not gonna do any of those things. It's gonna
just go complete opposite and do whatever we want and
work at the same time.
Speaker 2 (52:55):
I would love a scene where go to the Bemani
animated series Universal.
Speaker 1 (53:02):
Man. They got a lot of doors, a lot of doors.
Kevin will probably get in one of those episodes. Most
of ten minutes of it will be doors.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
Do you probably write a door montage is probably coming.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
That's all I want. And Scooby Doo montage is like
the door. Oh yeah, all right, we calling it now
Scooby Doo, Montage and Peacemaker season two books. But let
us know your thoughts overall. Are you hyped for Spider
Me and Brand New Day? Now you've seen the suit
doesn't really matter to you practically the same two. Let's
(53:33):
face it, did you check out Isaac Kna? Let us
know Twitch dot tv or YouTube dot com, slash infin
underscore pods. We can't be part of the show, be
interactive like Nintendo, Mike, Aaron Giles, uh Annyms, Drew p
you got Andy Drogan all up in there. Hang out
with us on twice a week day, not daily basis,
semi weekly, bi weekly. I don't know which which is
(53:54):
the one words words exactly or you can say up
today underscore pods on the Instagram or go and give
it to you. We always got content up there for you.
Let you know the nerding news you need to know. Baby.
Speaker 2 (54:07):
We appreciate you guys always for everything you do.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Crisis Kevin said, My rap career starts now, but we'll
be back on Thursday's episode. Talking as of right now,
the state of video game adaptations. Looking at all the
current video game movies, and shows in the works, figuring
(54:31):
out are they gonna happen, are they never gonna happen?
And who do we want cast as these certain characters. Well,
I'll wait to on Thursday's episode, Kevin, so you get excited,
start thinking about God of Wars and mass effects and
all that good stuff. I'd love to Dazemp calling it
right now.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
I have no idea how show is gonna work. It's
gonna it's gonna piss at least people don't want to
watch it all.
Speaker 1 (54:50):
Tom Holland, as a male shep, I like it. Pair
them together and everything does that shoot?
Speaker 2 (54:55):
I think that way maybe you can soften some people's expectations.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
Idea, Tony, get on it. But anyway, my name is
Hoodie and and you have officially listened to this spidy
filled episode of What kevxis ond keV
Speaker 2 (55:17):
Hoodie Suits Now
