Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news he needs to know
throughout the week. On iHeartRadio, I'm bad.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Cat Services around the World because my name's Early Hoodie
and I'm Smiley Kevin and you're officially listening to this
smile ish episode of What Kevin Crisis on Infinite Pod Cold.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
And I was smiling for some reason. My mind is
hoty at work. I'm missing eight teeth, but you can't tell.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
You can't tell where are they? Where'd they go? You'll
have to look inside if you want to find the treat.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
I got four pool from my braklest when I was
a teenager, and then I got my wisdom teeth pooled
two years ago, so I'm down eighteenth. But baby, that's okay, baby, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I have a unique bite. So if you ever want
to look for me, if there's a murder mystery involved
with my death, look for the bite on any sandwich
because I'm missing my incise right here because the dentist
pulled it out and stupid dentists. Back when I was
a kid, it was my adult one, so I only
have three incisors here. So if you're looking from a bite,
look and you can find me. This couldn't have been
(01:11):
hoody because honestly, this was a person at all fourteenth Yeah,
kind of. I was gonna be like, it's hoodie, and
then all of a sudden, wait a second, look at
the bike. Look at me, Look at the bike, Look
at me.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
It's not mister Andrew for you to go turn kill
has four.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Incizers exonerated by a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You
gotta jamp back show for you today. It is sort
of light on news, but fun details and all of
them regardless. We're gonna talk about tron aries where it
went wrong because in case you saw the news, it
ain't good. We're gonna talk about that big Pokemon leak
(01:48):
that happened literally earlier this week, right before Pokemon z
to a where Za depending on who you ask, comes
out this week. And we're gonna talk about gen V
season two, episode seven. It got good at the end.
You got real good. Yes, And here's the thing you
need to listen nessa. Listen nessa, yeah, same guy, same guy,
(02:10):

Speaker 3 (02:55):
There you go. It's that easy.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Do you wait till like the thirtieth to watch you
Be Halloween again one last time? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
We watched it twice already, so I may wait until.
Because my wife's been watching traditional horror stuff now that
I don't like, because she's a horrifish now she watches
the things I never heard. I'm just come in the
room and it's a random zombie. It's become it's become
like a thing in the house. Now every time become
a house, I'm like, leave watching.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I don't know something weird Doorbot. It's a sci fi
original door but that's what it looks like.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
But yeah, I'll probably wit till thirty first to watch
it again.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I think, there you go. Uh, well, let's properly start
the podcast with something we like to call what You're Doing,
where we talk about the shows and movies we've been watching,
games have been playing, lives we've been living. And because
it is Thursday, yep, boy gets to go first. I
have a lot, a lot to get to get through.
(03:51):
I will tell you that right now. I've had a
day to day, but I want to get through the
other stuff before we get through today, because that's that's
a story in of its own right. But been playing
more Ghost of Sushima. It's been great. I met with
a bunch of the straw hat ronins and I thought
that was pretty cool, like liberating a base and getting
on the ship and the oh it was a cool
little mission chain. I think I am vibing like that's
(04:13):
my like go to game right now if I need,
like usually it's two k we might get back there
eventually because there's a new version that came out they
have to pay for. But that's okay. But it's been fun.
And I stick with the Travelers outfit because I want
to look at that map and have no fog on it.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Did you I you're looking any of the new stances
yet I did.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
I don't know how to. They're just there. I'm like, oh,
I gotta change my stands. Okay, cool, every time it
tells me to change the stance.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
I was a pavorit. Part of the game was using
the stands, like, aha, I know what you got two sords? Yeah,
I gotta stand for you well.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
And it's funny because it's probably been a week since
I played it last and I forgot all the buttons.
I'm like, I had a slow down time button at
one point for my arrows, and I don't know what
the sticky button is the we're just gonna spam. Here's
a wind chime, winch chime, winchchime.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
You eventually get like this ridiculous spinning kick on circle
that it's amazing. I love it so much.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I'm excited for that. Your boy did get for the
first time since I was probably like twelve a physical
Library card this week, so that's been pretty cool. So
now I can go on Libby all the time and
read comic books, which is great.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
You say physical, I'm like, you have been doctors and
you twelve the library.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
You're not physical.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
No stop right now, go to the doctor.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Go to the doctor. Jesus, it's good to the doctor.
And then Halloween wise more and I I went and
pulled trigger and I bought Scooby Doo on Zombie Island.
The classic Scooby Doo movie Alien Invaders is actually on
Paramount if you're looking to watch it. And we bought
The Witches Ghost because those are just they're good. They're
(05:51):
classic kitty. But I'm mature at the same time.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Yeah, I mean Scooby Doo is. I feel like Scooby
do is like in that renaissance of like all the
millennials and older gens us that to watch it as
a kid are like still to do.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
It's kind of like there's almost like there's fun Bob
in a way.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah. Yeah, but it's a good time. If you need
something to watch, that's like good for everybody. I think
that's the go to. That's a good go to. And
they're cheap. It's like two bucks each, and their movies
anywhere eligible, so you can take it anywhere, which is fun.
They dissolved into Fandango, right, No, Fandango dissolved into them
movies anywhere, which you are correct. We probably will get
(06:28):
to a time and place where movies anywhere dissolves and
then those movies that you boughto because I I have
movies on there.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Then sometimes I log into my iTunes account, why don't
I have this? For some reason? I have the episode
want to work off episode of STO.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, or like you got a free code of something
randomly and you're like, okay, cool, yeah it's connected.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I have a Ravens game from twenty ten. I don't
know why I bought it, but I bought it.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
I don't even know why. It's movies anywhere eligible for sure.
That's four hours counts, all right. And then I personally, mate,
I wanted to challenge myself. I watched the first two
Terrifier movies this week, and that's that's why I was like, Oh,
speaking of your wife, who's probably seen those movies. They're
bloody and it's all the nasty.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Sometimes here's the thing is like I feel like when
you watch those movies, you are moved and like, that's
not so disturbing. My wife laughs, that's scary.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
But Art the clown, which is the mascot of Terrifier,
is a little funny at times when he's in the
Halloween store trying on glasses. That's funny, but then it
gets real grotesque after the funny part.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Yeah, and my wife will laugh through those grotest parts
and think it's hilarious. I'm like a woman just lost
her eyes.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
What you saw? The woman in a half vertically not
horizontally vertically? The hell exactly. That's why I was like, oh, oh,
it's not how I thought that was gonna go.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
But sure exactly.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
And then uh, let's get to today. So today was
actually a big day to day if you're buying tickets,
because Ticketmaster had one pre sale. Seek Geek had another
big pre sale today, Kevin, Which one do you want
to talk about first, the Bread and Butter or the
country one.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Ah, Let's do Sea Geek one first, because they kind
of knew I guess, okay, we have turned against them yet,
but the turn.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
We will return it against them today, Kevin, because today
was the pre sale for the Alan Jackson one more
for the Road concert, which essentially is I think it
was a couple months ago when Ozzy Osbourne was alive.
They had the tribute to Ozzy and it was like
there was a retirement concert and he was done. After that,
Alan Jackson's essentially doing the same thing in June and
(08:45):
wanted to get tickets for certain someones in my family,
and I was like, you know what, they don't know
how to do pre sales. I'll get ahead of this. Surely,
surely I can get ahead of this and get four
reasonably pressed tickets. No, because Sea Geek is still stuck, says,
you're in the line. The line started at eleven o'clock.
Only it is three o'clock podcasts recording.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
As somebody who worked in country radio for about almost
five years, I can't believe ADL. Jackson's is still in
the man honestly, I think that.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Well. The interesting thing is to this concert, liked Ozzy
Osbourne has a lot of other artists that are performing,
so like Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, I think Luke Combs,
a couple other people are performing. So I get why
it's popular, not mostly because of Alan Jackson, but because
there's other country artists that you kind of you get
to see, but they're not really singing their songs. It's
(09:36):
a whole thing. I did get in at one point
to the actual buying of tickets. Windows cheapest seats three
hundred dollars just at the Titans Stadium in Nashville. I
had to buy four of them. I can't get the
seats that are in the nosebleeds because the certain someone's
can't walk up that. So oh man, so we're to see.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
I know.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
It is a weird time to buy tickets because there's
pre sales, and there's cardholder sales, and then there's the
general sale. Uh And a fun fact, the pre sales
usually are a certain allotment of tickets, like they reach
a threshold most events, and then the general on sales
like everything else. But that's TBD depending on the event.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Three dollars, you said you buying four, so.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
We passed on that for the price. We're gonna see
what happens on Friday, maybe when we wake up early
tomorrow morning, and it will be a little cheaper price,
or we can get in faster.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
At least I will say this also use your tools
because I know for a fact that your boss is
a PD of two country stations.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
I also was told that, but I'm also have no
relations with said man, so I.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Will text him for you. Hey, birthday this year?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Can I get happy birthday? So surely we're best friends.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Still, I'm just saying, that's a woof man, that's a
whole lot.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
But the bright side. Let's switch on over the ticketmaster story.
It's been months in the making, some would say years
in the making. And thought, hm, ten o'clock today, Surely,
surely we could get tickets for Capitol and Arena in
December m H. And I'm sad to say myself and
my brother will be going to see John Cena. That's awesome.
(11:33):
Saturday Night's made events December thirteenth and the Capinal.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Want Arena, and we still don't know who's opponent will be.
There are a lot of rumors in there. Yes, I'm
happy that because I feel like I was more I'm
more of an attitude era like original Wrestling plan. But
I know you guys and your brother I wrote to
the digression area, so I really think it's really cool
(11:57):
you got you can go see your last match really awesome.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Uh so Ticketmaster everything was a whole story too, because
originally it was supposed to be a group of seven
of us going and that's not possible from re saling
or buying tickets like this, So we had to split
up to a group of three. And so is my brother,
one of his best friends, and myself that went to
go see spack down last month. And is wild because
(12:22):
at one point when I logged in, the cheap seats
were two hundred dollars, and that's the very top row
four hundred dollars. This is kind of a news story.
There was fifty thousand people in the waiting room at
one point for a venue that holds at most on
a good day fifteen eighteen thousand. That's if you fill
(12:42):
every seat. Yeah, without setups. Lo and behold, your boy
got in the right, right time, right place. Tickets sold
out immediately. Now I was bummed, and I was like,
that happened. Then the Alan Jackson thing happened. I said,
when I came back home for today after an hour commute,
let me, just for giggles check the ticket master real quick.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
What happens?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Two hundred dollars? We got tickets each so hey, we'll
take it. The chair, and I know we talked about
the last time we went to WrestleMania where that had
a little swag beas you could buy when you were
preordering things like the little ticket, the kermina umber of
ticket that's like back there, and the magnet or the chair.
The chair for Johnsena's last match, three hundred and fifty dollars.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
I want to tell him, must that will be actually
in twenty years a lot. That'll be at least I'll
say at least ten.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
And I will appreciate. They did show you the actual
graphic on the chair this time. So remember for Mania
it was like a placeholder. This was like John Cena's face.
You're sitting on them, so that's a whole thing. Sit
on Johnson, sit on John Cena. So I'm excited. Interesting enough,
the credit card declined the purchase at first, and more
called me, what's going on? So don't worry, don't worry,
(13:53):
just accept it. So there is a little bit of
a weird period of I think we're good because it's
all my ticket Master accounts.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
So it happened to me too in Disney World with.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
What a little bit of a different pressure cheesecake egg
rolls for twenty dollars versus about eight hundred dollars with
cleaning taxes and fees and all that good stuff. But
I'm excited, obvious. We'll talk about this when it gets closer.
But I think the Undertaker is supposed to have his
dead Man one dead Man one dead Man podcast or
whatever the whole weekend on the Friday, and then there
(14:27):
will be a superstore in DC. Uh So they're gonna
post up right outside Capitol One Arena so you can
actually visit and buy stuff. I'm gonna go there every
day after work, just like just be hanging out in there.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Well, I'm actually thinking about maybe because I can't. I
think I'm off the week the Monday that the SmackDown
is it was open early. I might I think my
mom going down and see what they have. Yeah, superstore luckily,
yeah boy.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Where I am on the metro, it's three stops from
Gallery Place. Uh so that'll come in real clutch of
like our spire stuff. All right, let's take a back.
That should go home and then go back and go
watch the show.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Good point. It's a good point. I may even because
well I couldn't go this time because I promised my
daughter I would get her Wicked tickets for a birthday
because they'll be at the Hypodrome here in Baltimore. Yeah,
I'm on her birthday literally, Yeah, but I may because
broke from me and my buddy at WrestleMania. I mean
to go to the box office, not that far away.
Just go to pay quick, quick what you got?
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Yeah, And that was I was funny because friend of
the podcast movie Eric, he got tickets to his brother
buys them for them, and it's luckily he got a
club seats. I was like, good for you. But he
also has said yeah, normally, like you've said this too.
Actually for when you went for WrestleMania, you would buy
NXT tickets and they'd be pretty cheap and you got
in like the front row that one time.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
Yeah, Because I mean, if you watch NXT takeover Dallas
twenty sixteen, you can see me and my buddy ben
I outside going. Some of the interest is we paid
tety five bucks a piece for little tickets. Like it's
not bad at all, Yeah, because they get the show's
trying to filthy arena, so they're just like, you know,
how much how much one takes.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Yeah, so there are four hundred level seats, but you know,
I'm gonna take it just to be in the second
I was in the building. Luckily, I think that that's
the interesting thing too, is this is in our backyard.
So it's like, well, I'm not paying for a hotel,
not paying for a flight, exactly, I'm taking the Matro
that's two bucks two there and coming back home and
more is gonna pick me up. You know.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
It's definitely an easier bargaining bargaining because when I went
to Rawl, I spent a little more I usually spelling
tickets because my daughter went with me. Leaving, I was like, no, what,
I can spend a little more because, like I said,
I'm not taking a flight, not getting a hotel. I
want to buy food before we leave.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Yeah, I know the spots I can eat locally before
I go into the venue exactly.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
So I don't think it's any problem with that. I'm
happy you guys are going.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Is going?
Speaker 3 (16:47):
You know is my No?
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Eric is not going, we asked. Unfortunately, it is the
same night as inter John's Crus's party, so I will
not be going to that because I have to see
another John instead that night.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Oh, knowing of his Christmas parties, I've never been to
one because I had kids when he had the first one,
who was like, I don't know how to do this.
I don't know how to be adult.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
We have kids.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
But I'm prettyure it didn't end at eleven o'clock. So
if you want to show up.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Hey, guys, but we got left what chick filame? We
got in the bench, Chef Matt, you're still here, right there,
you go.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
I mean, Joe up can be the cool guy I
was there. You and your brother should cosplays John Cena,
the jeorts, the knee pads.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
And just buy a cheap John Cena shirt, not the
one WW selling, but just find out Amazon for like
five bucks. I got the chain back there, the Chang Gang.
I was a part of the Chang Gang.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
You start lifting now, and he's a lot of protein.
You can't get a little bosteps.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
You know, little thing. The champ is here. Get that
little T shirt that it points down, or you.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Can do this too instead of doing all that stuff.
You can save starting now and get that spinder belt.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Here's the think Kevin. Oh, it's not in the frame.
It's over there. We already have a belt, so we're
good and it's not under belt. Here's the thing. Unfortunately
we have to bring that with us obviously, but that
it's like, well, it takes up space. It's December, so
are going to have a bulky jacket? Probably? See not
probably my price range for having a Disney trip two
(18:16):
weeks after this this extravaganza.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
He's already paid for it, that's already in a bank.
It's already that's already been the fund have already been transferred. Good.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, but I'm excited obviously, Kevin, whatever you want, I
won't get it for you. So, but probably should buy
it at the Superstoy and not on the arena because
that'll be a cluster.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
Yeah, And honestly it is stretfu talking about think the
arena because the lines are so long.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Yeah, and it's not even convenient. I think the other
thing is too. Even if this is one match, it's
just John Cena match and a bunch of retrospectives. I'm
fine with that.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Well, you also have a lot of things other things
going on now that could be happening at that See,
a Punk could be champion, Cody Rose could be federal Reney.
That's not a lot of things gonna be going on
at that show. Besides, John, like you picked a really
good show to go to.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Actually, yeah, let's go. But so yeah, started back with
the Alan Jackson, got better with the John Cena. So, Kevin,
you have the floor now which you've been doing.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
The John Sena Faywell Montreal Spinner Championship is only six.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Hundred dollars, Not like I just spent that bunch of
money on tickets, Kevin. But okay, what have I been doing?
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (19:26):
So to kind of contain the wrestling talk, I did
what I usually do with two K twenty five every year,
about a year, almost a year after it has been released,
I started Showcase Mode.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Okay, all right about time, thank god?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Doing Showcase Mode right now. I just finished we match.
I just finished. I just finished the usso's and the
New Day in the Hell in the Cell match, and
I got kind of sad. I was like, oh, the
New Day not the same anymore. I got kind of
up different now. So I've been doing that also. Then
(20:02):
what I wanted to start at Tim Robinson show today,
but I forgot about it unfortunately.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
Oh the Chair Company, Yes, I've heard good things. I
think we're waiting until after Halloween to start that.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Yeah, I think I've discovered that Tim Robinson is my
brain of comedy, so I now I follow him wherever
he goes. Ever since Detroiters, Detroiters was great, it's even
the kids I was the SML were great. But of
course I think you should leave. It's just an all
time comedy classic. In my view, I think it's just
it's literally, if you want to know what my sense
of humor is, watch, I think you should leave. That's
(20:31):
literally give me that, give me that, give me that
I want that. I'm joking. I'm joking, but I've been
doing that, been doing really. I think that's have really.
I've been working out still, boxing every day almost. I
didn't think of any any punching bag because I hit
it today and almost tipped.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Over too much aggression.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
I thought maybe it was out of water, so I
went to go post some more water in it, and
then it's some runn out the bottom, like, oh, shoot,
that's been one.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Amazon might have refills or something, you know, but.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
It's that you could put stand in it too. But
if I put stand in it, it's never moving again.
Whereas if I put water in it, I could drain
the water and typically move somewhere else. But what stands
in Sanda is in.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
It ain't going. It ain't going nowhere else.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
I ain't going nowhere else. And that's all about all
I'm been doing, buddy.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
All right, Well, let's get on into it then, because
it is time. And first first, we ain't getting any
more trying.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
Moves because of this weekend, even though it's technically a
number movie in the world, technically technically the number movie
in the world.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
So in case you missed out yesterday the Hollywood Reporter,
this was kind of more of like an expose than
more of a like an article or an interview or
anything like that. But according to experts, UH, the Tron
franchise has been is being retired after the Tron Aries
to do to poor box office performance and absolutely no
(22:11):
one talking about the movie unless you saw it besides us.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
I mean, you saw it, you said it looked great,
but it wasn't the strongest movie in the world, and
many reviews have said the exact same thing, so it
is it is not surprising. The second one did make
four undred million dollars worldwide, but only made one hundred
and seventeen million dollars in the in the in America,
so most of us money came out came internationally. So
(22:39):
and then the first one, again it was a cult favorite.
First one literally made thirty three million dollars. So this
is this is a cult movie that they tried.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
To read three times.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
And make it make a wide stream, but it's just
it's it's a cult classic for a reason.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Yeah. So interestingly enough, on Ninti White in chat says
confused as to why this movie exists in the first place.
Money and guess what the didn't get money, So so
making anyone specific specifically, But if you remember Tron Legacy
came out, it was Disney. I don't even think they
had owned Lucasfilm then and they maybe have just purchased Marble.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
It was right before all the right before during all
those acquisitions.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Yeah, and so really Tron was like, hey, we need
something that's not a kid's movie. Uh So that's why
Tron Legacy existed. But because that did okay at the
box office, and you had tomorrow Land also come out
that did bad, Disney kind of stopped doing it's ride
adaptations or legacy properties into movies, which is why we
(23:42):
haven't had you know, uh, we've had an a mansion movie,
so technically it's not true.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
But the mansion we had Jungle Cruise. Of course, Project
Caribbean is the best one, most one they ever done.
Know what they should do. Spaceship Earth would be a
cool time travel movie. They wanted to put effort into that.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Well, oh yeah, you're just true, and they'd have escape
to Witch Mountain. For the longest time I thought was
Escaping Space Mountain, but that's its own thing. But yeah,
so I think that was a time we're like, all right, cool,
No one's really into this. People want superheroes because that's
literally the decade we've been in. But now it's like,
all right, cool, everyone loves superheroes. Let's give you a
(24:19):
figurehead that is Jared Leto, who is a little problematic
to say the least, and little not loved but fans
on any franchise movies and we'll say a polarizing individual
that is true more be a suck though, So I
don't know if that's polarizing real bad. I think that
(24:41):
momentum with this franchise, like you have said, being a
cult classic cult I don't know. I guess the second
one is a classic. Two do agree? Now? Really is
why you don't get a big box office return, because
ayn't nobody want to see a Jared Leto movie. This
is more you want to see a Tron movie that
Jared Leto's in, and it really was you know, nine
inch nails move with s Jared Letto in the music video. Like.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
Another example is Blade Runner. Blade Runner was a cult
classic in the seventies as well, was eighties, I think
of seventies as well. They made Blae twenty forty nine,
by all accounts, a great movie, didn't make a lot
of the box office becau Everybody's like, eh, it was
cool in the seventies. I don't know, I want to
see it now. Granted, Blake Runer twenty firty nine that
had something that Tron didn't didn't had Ryan Gosling and
(25:24):
Harrison fort that's true.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
That's true. Get You a Little Book and Batista. Don't
forget Batista was in then too. That was Batista's renaissance.
But also remember Tron, this being trona aries. Tron three
technically was supposed to be completely different and then got
canceled and then we got this one with Jared Leto
being a focus on it. Yeah, I mean the movie
wasn't that great. Disney Plus might help it out, friendly minder.
(25:50):
Disney Plus and creats his prices in two weeks, so
just a heads up in case you pay the annual
fee like I do. Interestingly enough, though, his next movie
is Masters of the Universe, where he's skeletor, so I
have low expectations for Masters of the Universe.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Then I don't think Masters of the Universe is going
to be as big as people think it's going to
be because I'm still not sure if And again, Massive
Universe is kind of like the before me as a kid,
I was more in The Power Rangers and Turtles and
was Master Universe. But looking back on it, it seems
like that that was more of a toy franchise that
had a cartoon than a cartoon franchise that had toys,
(26:30):
you know what I mean. So I don't know if
that's going to be as as widely lauded and loved
as people think it's going to be. And that's the
same thing with this one. I feel like if they
were going to do this and do Tron Legacy and
do doing a holding Tron trilogy. You should just reboot
a Tron and started from scratch. Yeah, because you said
it yourself. I haven't seen it, but you said Tronto
(26:50):
is even the movie.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Yeah, hey, you got Tron uprising. And I said this
to on our Tron review last week. Trou might be
a good show. So obviously trying to hiring from theaters
doesn't mean it's not going to be a show. I mean,
obviously they have the ride. They just built the ride
what like two years ago in Disney World. It's got
the red overlay now for this movie, probably not much
(27:13):
longer because the movie did bad. But I think Disney
will have it in some regard, just because they've already
invested enough money into it that they need some return.
But I wouldn't put it past them that if you
go to the Tron ride that they have, they probably
have stockpile still of the disc the identity disks that
they thought everyone was gonna be buying.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
And the other thing too is I think you're they're
gonna be better sort of making us a TV thing
to because for example, and I think it's a great show,
but Nanga's got the name of the show, the Greek
mythology show. We all liked HM last year, Percy Jackson,
Pudy Jackson. I think if they had reboot in a movie,
it had been dead on a arrival. It as a
(27:56):
series though, people kind of were invested in the characters
and it was a more of a weekly thing and
you go, wan to happen next week? How he's gonna
get past this? This trial? It was, it was really cool,
but that had been another movie. I'm like, I did
doing this again. I don't want to see this, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (28:10):
But yeah, so obviously we will see what happens going forward.
If the franchise, we don't expect anything soon. Probably Disney
Plus December, maybe maybe January, New Year's New Tron I think.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
I also think next month around. In fact, what better
time to release than Thanksgiving? The release on Disney Plus
Fantastic Dude four. I can't read to see that again. Man,
that's next to be great.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
That's wild. Yeah, we're due for that. Give keep come on,
we had Stitch. Now it's it's time.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
I mean, I rewatched Superman a lot, so I can't
watch Can we to keep me watching a Fantastic four? Yes?
Speaker 1 (28:47):
And also just for Masters on the Universe that does
come out June fifth, twenty twenty six. UH has newcomer
Nicholas Galitzine as he Nan, Camilla Mendez is Tila cherry Letoskeletor,
Alison Brie as evil In, and Idris Elba as Man
at Arms. UH. If you know your Master's Universe characters,
you know who they are. The premise, though, ten year
(29:08):
old Adam Crash lands on his mother's home planet, separated
him from his ancestral's power, sort of gray Skull. Two
decades later, he takes his sword back and bears the
mandle of he Man as he battles for his home
planet e Turnia against the evil forces of Skeletal.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
If one to learn about he Man, there's a great
documentary on Netflix called The Toys that made Us tell
you all about it?
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Yeah, In the chat a ton of Mike se you've
played one of the worst problems. Tron Lexy does not
followed the plot of tron at Always.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
It takes two bits and then says we'll keep it
as an end credit. That's what it is. But Kevin
UH to talk about UH big leaks because you know
we found out that nothing from tron Legacy was going
to be in tront areas. Let's go from that video
game world to another video game world, the world of Pokemon.
(30:02):
Because Poke Pokemon.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
My TikTok has been littered with AI national geographic.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yeah, oh yeah, I like it, but also I'm scared
of it. To save time, soly, Pokemon Legend Z to
A comes out this week. It is the next entry
before we get Gen ten next year. The thirtieth anniversary
of Pokemon pokemony is back y'all thirty years ten? Yeah,
(30:29):
got them all, which means there's been at least ten
Pokemon games. There's been more, but there's at least ten
of them.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
There's a chance that Pokemon is still big. When Kira
turns like five or six, her starter, I don't even
know who that is, and I'll tell them my starters.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Then, well, here's the thing. Because Pokemon legend z today
for the Legends games, they reuse the starters. They don't
give you new starters, they remix them. So this one
was Tepic. It was chick or Rita and Tota Dial.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
So okay, okay, I know Teppic, I know I know
that one. I'm aware of this reference.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Being sure I got the right starters. Uh yeah, look
at me. I remember that. I love it, So that
could be a good starting port view, Like, oh, I.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
Remember Tota Dill.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
He was a crocodile. He and Ash had adventures and
she's like, Dad, I don't care. Doubt doesn't involvement in
that anymore.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
We had Sindquill, Cindy Quills, and Sinde Quill Erasio. I
don't like it. He was here too. He was kind
of a Dragons lesson.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
He got a weird evolution in Pokemon Legends where he
turned droopy and sleepy for some reason. Less cool but purple. Yeah,
that's spoke on Legends in a nutshell. But that game
comes out this week. But because of that, there actually
was This is interesting. Sou's never seen this word before.
A terra leak of information?
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Like the size of it, like a terrbite of information
at least essentially. I'm like, sure, what does that word mean? Yes,
there we go, Okay, yeah, I google the word is
all Pokemon. But the league revealed unannounced games, pretty much
laying out the franchises and major releases through twenty thirty. Obviously,
we're not going to go through every detail because we'd
(32:17):
be here all day, but some of the big hitters
that kind of wanted to get Kevin's thoughts on. Obviously,
it leaked some stuff that's supposed to be in a
Pokemon Legends a because it's literally this week, so if
you don't want to spoil that, avoid that. But the
roadmap for the rest of the next four years really
revealed that Gen ten potentially will be Project Wind and Wave,
(32:45):
So the two versions will be potentially Project Wind in
Project Wave.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
So to me, because I'm a Pokemon fish nowo, that
means water and air.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Pokemon essentially maybe starters. Finally, some air is a different
type of starter that's not fire, water and grass because
like there's.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
No like I think about all is that like an
air Pokemon. I mean they're flying Pokemon and they're.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Yes, there are is a fun bit. There are flying
Pokemon and there are fighting Pokemon, but sometimes they are
not the flying Pokemon type or the fighting Pokemon.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Yeah, it's kind of tricky. It's the week road tip.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Obviously, there's a bunch of TCG going on. We were
in Mega Evolution Fantastical Flames, which is the next one
comes out like a couple of weeks. Pokemon TCG Pockets
celebrated into one year anniversary this week as well. But
the other interesting thing is the next game will have
you jump in islands, kind of like Ghost of Sushima
a little bit. We're gonna jump some islands, which would be.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
Fun cool because I mean, I mean it was Pokemon.
I can't remember which one it was, must been a
second wave, so but that was when you can go
from the Joto region to the Home region and back,
go back and forth. So do that on a large
scale would be really cool.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
It also looks like Pokemon Wind and Wave will have
a lot of mechanics of Pokemon Legends z toa where
it's a lot of free roaming, which is always cool.
We always appreciate that a lot of Pokemon in the wild.
But the big thing is somewhere down the line, potentially
Gen ten. Potentially later in Gen ten, there will be
a game that Nintendo is working on that will connect
(34:21):
every region of Pokemon, so you can hop every region,
go to hook, can go to Canto Jodo, Howen, Sino, Calos,
galar a Loo and all that good stuff.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
That sounds cool, But that sounds like you're an old
GT rumor do you take six when we go to
buy city Liberty City, and.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Hey, it could happen. So Kevin, we're going it could happen.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
That sounds cool, sounds a cool rumor. But I believe
you want to see it.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Yeah, so you know take it as well. It's also
it's all on Twitter, so take that as you will too,
because it's all on Twitter. These leagues are coming, so
some of the images are like, don't think that is real?
I think that is AI.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
So I've been scrolled while we've been talking. I've been
scrolling on official Pokemon list. I'm officially blind at Gen seven.
I know some of Gen six, Gen seven, I'm like,
what the heck is going?
Speaker 1 (35:13):
All right, so I only go Pokemon Gen five.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
I know this is great. There's a Pokemon uh Gen seven,
I guess he's the starter names Lytton.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Yeah, it's a cat and Kevin. Actually you would like
Layton because he evolves into a wrestler. That's his final evolution.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
That's the.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Or. Yes, he's on Smashed. It's pretty cool. Uh oh. Also, yeah,
Frokie is also in that and he evolves into Greninja.
He would really like that generation Frokie is gen six
actually okay there regard name.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Mine, Yeah, staying correct, this is what I had that
as broken down by by generation. And like I said,
Jens Jenen seven starts, I'm blind. I have no idea when.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Uh so, Kevin, now you've shared your history of Pokemon,
what would do you want in the future of Pokemon
that would maybe get you back into Pokemon either you, you
and the kids or just your kids.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
They'll never do this. They kind of have it now,
but it's not really official. But uh, Nintendo doesn't really
do this at all to any of their games. But
a Pokemon MMO would be money a world where you
can make, you make your avatar. You go to this
Pokemon if it's somebody like you, because I haven't done this,
but someone who has like all their Pokemon stored on
on that database Pokemon Home. Pokemon Home. You can go
(36:31):
into the database, pick your six roam in the world
and the fine trainers to fight. Yeah, and you basically
if you win, get in game currency and you can
buy in game stuff.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Yeah. And that that's the interesting thing is because I
think Pokemon Champions comes out early next year, which is
the game that's supposed to be mobile and also have
a switch version where it's gonna be a little bit
like Pokemon Stadium mechanics where you have to pick your
I assume six and fight anybody. So that's kind of
what you want. So that might be your ticket back
in Baby.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Because I mean that kind of have a Pokemon go
but it's not really a train of battle. He just
tapping a screen.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
No strategy in that where it's like, you know, shoot
this guy throws out this. Okay, I'm account of what
this and you know what I mean, that'd be like
really really really cool to have, like and the Switch
can do it because switches all all the time anyway,
So I mean you play fortnitand switch, why can't just
be on a MMO Pokemon.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Switch a little bit of power World mechanics in there too,
which obviously that's kind of been the main like contender.
A Digitmon I heard of the Digimon story or the
Digitmon game this year is actually pretty good too. But yeah,
I think dumb hopefully giving Pokemon run for its money
to at least increase its graphics and ability of how
many Pokemon can have on a dame screen would help
(37:44):
as well. Nintendo Mike brings up a good point kind
of probably along gear lines too. Uh, he's familiar with
Gen one through three. I think we all kind of
are growing up with Pokemon. He just wants a remake
of Gold and Silver. I do too. I think obviously
Heart Goal and Soul Silver were so good, but they're
on the DS and that was a while ago, and
(38:05):
you got to have a DS still to play those,
which likely I do, but maybe you got rid of
yours because you were upgrading into the Switch or the
three DS or anything along the lines there.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
You know, DS is I think one of the only
systems I'll still a PS two, which is a big
deal because.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
There's so many damn models of the damn DS. No
matter where you go, there was a new DS coming
at you every week, new stylists, all different. I think
voice acting needs to happen for sure in this franchise
is one of the main complaints. I obviously have the anime,
which gives us some story and interpretation of what the
games actually look like, but for Legends Z to A
(38:41):
not having any voice art or voice actors, it's kind
of a bummer. Cause you know they're Pokemon doesn't have
a lot of big moments, But I think those moments
will be bigger if you had a voice behind them,
you know a little bit.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Now, I haven't played Pokemon in a while. On the
switch Leaves, when you choose the Pokemon throw, is it
still just like a noise or does it actually make
the name?
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Now? It depends. So most of the time it's just
that their battle cry. But it sometimes it just depends,
like Pikachu does speak a which technically is a battle cry,
but it's still not how the anime is. Oh, squirre goal, squirrel, squirrel,
you know it goes chah Man. I know these voices
too well.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Stores have you seeing the French one?
Speaker 1 (39:28):
He goes the friends my god, But yeah, I think
that'd be cool. I mean, we've always talked about here
that Pokemon needs to just re release the games on
Switch through Nintendo Switch Online or whatever. I buy them,
even though I've beaten them all I'm beating them again
on the Game Boy Color. I'll still buy them so
(39:49):
I can have them forever.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
And there's a market in remasterve re release games. I mean,
we've seen it a lot of release games over past five, six, seven,
eight years that have gone U been well reviewed, and
even the games that aren't well reviewed, grand the photo
people still bottom, you know what I mean. So there's
a market in that and maybe just maybe it's waiting
for a rainy day. I don't know, but like one
of these days, please do it.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yeah, and hopefully if that happens, you know, you spare
shit out with one of your game games that's coming out.
I would say with Pokemon Legend z to a coming
out now, now is probably a good time to look
for Sword and Shields, Scarlett and Violet, or the first
Pokemon Legends, knowing intended, the probably not on sale, but
they could be a little cheaper finding use copies and
a little bit easier to find used copies of those
(40:33):
games now.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
It can also if you like me and just like
an old man, you can download a m later on
your iPhone.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
No, no, you find it. You find your friend Hoodie
who over here still has his collection his purple bag
of goodies with his DS and Game Boy Advance and
say hey, uncle Hoodie, can we boll your Gameboydvance to
play Pokemon? And I'll say, yes, my child, I'm Professor
Roake in the situation, say no, mine mine, I've turned
into the pokemoniac and the villain a so beat those
(41:05):
cuts up for the lunch money because they looked weird. Man.
Pokemon was the time they were teaching us bad things.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Hey, you can't come here. Hey, kill your pets real quick.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
I stared at you from afar. Let me kill your poke,
Let me kill your pets. Kevin didn't play Pokemon here, remembers, Yeah,
it's sucking there. This is a question I probably have
never asked you. What was your first Pokemon game?
Speaker 3 (41:31):
Pokemon Blue? All right, that explains why we get along with.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
Each other so well. And then Joe Tooe, what was
did you have? Gold? Silver, crystal?
Speaker 3 (41:42):
Joe to I think I had I had silver? Yeah, silver,
I think, But I still started with with with a
with I always saw it with grass all right, chick Eda,
Uh shoot, I can see his name, I see his face.
Hold go to my dad base. Ye is awesome.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
Trigo's cool, little he got but he put the shraw
in his mouth, like, oh he's so edgy, he's so cool.
Let's look at him. He's just standing there. Oh so yeah,
we need a new we need a new evolution. A
dragon one would be cool, would be terrifying, it'd be
cool though. All right, well that's the news on the
(42:22):
Pokemon League so far. There'll probably be more as the
game as ZDA comes out this week and all that
good stuff. We'll talk about it as we go. But
next up, Kevin, it's time to talk about the pen
ultimate episode of gen V. So that's breaking. Yeah, we
(42:42):
did it, we did it. We're at the penultimate episode.
Episode seven was called Hell Week, uh, and I thought
it was pretty good. I actually at first it was like, Okay,
we're rushing things, but then at the end, I was like, oh,
give me more. I want the finale now and see
what goes on.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
The point was because of the name it, I thought
we would get more I guess fresh Shenanigans we really want.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
But it was very graphic, very graphic, like oh, that's
the kid who has the the black hole as a buttthole, Like,
oh no, that's that guy.
Speaker 3 (43:15):
How did you use that power like to make the
world better? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
There was introduction of more cannon fodder characters like oh,
you're not making it out next week? For sure?
Speaker 3 (43:24):
Oh yeah, I mean boyfriend. Yeah, yeah, you just have
a red shirt on it.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
This one. As soon as he came into the battle
scene with everyone was like, oh, you should not be
in this room with everyone else.
Speaker 3 (43:37):
I'm not like, oh yeah, I don't know you're gonna
be in the last time. I know, you're just like
a thing.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
Oh no, you exist for a reason now to die.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Like they should really just put him in a re shirt.
Next week, just put him in a red shirts. Gonna happen,
you know. Yeah, good episode.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
It was only forty minutes. I assume next week's will
be an hour because, like we said, we predict they'll
tea up immediately. What's gonna happen with the Boys? If anything,
we get a trailer too, because that don't makes sense
because the Boys usually has a trailer around you are
Comic Con. It's last week, so maybe they held off
because they knew gen V was ending.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
And then last year, I think the end credit scene
was not a trailer but a boy's tease because I'm
she was Butcher. Butcher showed up and said, you know
what a bunch of whatever, and oh, shoot, okay, here
we go. Boys, come come up next year.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
There you go, there you go. Uh, but let's get
onto the specific episode. Kevin, did you enjoy it or
I assume you did enjoy?
Speaker 3 (44:32):
Only thing I didn't enjoy was the commercial I started
two minutes into the episode. Come on, I'm also Space Mount,
Space Mount, Come on, say anything with you? Podcast?
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Looking at it? Look at us Space Mount? So kicks off?
Or how last week's ended? Uh. We see that Marie
and uh Kate did leave stan Egger's compound, but Anabeth
does wake up looking for Marie after she has a
bad premonition precognition what they're calling it about her where
(45:05):
she's bloody on the floor. We assume at go Dolkin.
We find out the group doesn't know that Marie and
Kate have left. They immediately go try to find her. Uh.
Sam leaves with Emma Cricket and then the rest will
drive in the car, which is just funny express service
or you got to drive because you don't got flying powers, but.
Speaker 3 (45:27):
It was funny. She was bawling down that hallway the highway.
I was like, oh my, I was like, hey, I know,
we gotta say somebody's life please slow down.
Speaker 5 (45:35):
Uh Kate tries to convince that Marie multiple times in
this episode, Hey, curing me and I can help you out,
but Marie essentially not trusting.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
Her, which you find out later in the episode, refuses
to do so because she has lit near reasons. They
do get into Cipher's house, where they find out that
Polarity there we go he actually is still there or
was looking for them, I guess at Cypher's house, uh,
where we find out Polarity goes through another seizure. Marie
(46:08):
is actually able to cure him, we think for the
foreseeable future, which is pretty cool. Hopefully it doesn't backfire.
It's like, oh, nope, man, it's back That.
Speaker 3 (46:17):
Was pretty cool and good acting by the actor. I
thought he did a really good job in this. I
mean bually talking about about his son, how because basically
Marie was basically saying, Kate, what you did. I can't
forget if you did Andre, so I'm not gonna hear
you anything he did. But it was like, what was
really my fault? Because I should have told him that
was possible. I didn't tell him that, which kind of
speak goes to the think of, you know, family trauma
(46:40):
and that kind of stuff. I thought that was a really
cool episode, really cool performance by him. I can't remember
his name right now, but he's been a lot of stuff.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Sean Patrick, Thomas.
Speaker 3 (46:46):
John Pattery, Thomas Jess really cool, really cool.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
Before barbershot and saved the Last Dance.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
Save the Last Dance, and he was in a not
out of a teen movie.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
It was a funny look at you, Kevin, remember anything.
But eventually Polariti is cured as far as we know,
so he, Kate, and Marie head to Goodulkin the campus
to look for Cipher and actual Godulkin. Eventually, the rest
of the group catches up to them, while Sam and
Emma do arrive at a dulkon look for Marie. Sam
(47:18):
has gifted his pledge out of endless buttoled Man comes
out of pledge and you're like, ooh, you're can fodder
because we don't even know your power is to all
the end of this episode, it was not.
Speaker 3 (47:29):
A great one. But at the same time, I don't
think he deserved to and again, never to college, never
pledge a friend, never a Fred. That's a bit much.
That's a bit much.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
Yeah, yeah, but you know it is cool. I know,
like in this episode, it's like, oh, why is this happening?
But you know, remember this is a college based show,
so we gotta have some college shenanigans in there to
a degree. The same thing with Emma Cricket having a
little bit of a love triangle with Sam and her
new boo, Greg, who's Greg the red shirt colored from
(48:00):
now on. He's due up next, so that'll be a hoving.
The group does catch up to Marie. Annabeth r sister
tells her, hey, you got to stop. I've had the
precognition that if you go in there, you'll die, that
Cipher is leading you into a trap. Essentially beginning of
this episode, Cipher does say it looks like we're gonna
have to do a sacrificial big move, which is interesting
(48:22):
just to see how that worked out. Marie does kind
of get tired of everyone trying to stop her. She
lifts them up with their blood and like, hmmm, as
a friend, you can only deal with that so much.
You know, You're like, all right, come on, there's been
twice you've done that to me.
Speaker 3 (48:38):
Marie. I love you, but sometimes my blood man, this
is weird.
Speaker 1 (48:42):
But she goes in looking for a Goodulkin polarity in
the group stalls Cipher a cipher good line of sure
you can get me, but if your played whack them
all on one day, one move, I'm here, one move
I'm over there, which was a cool little reference. But
as that fight is going on, Marie does find good
Dollan and is able to heal him Polarity and the
(49:04):
group find out that as soon as Uh Goodulkin is healed, Cipher, Yeah,
he ain't safer anymore. He's just Doug bright Bill, a
normal human the entire time.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
From Blockbuster Man Hard Times.
Speaker 1 (49:17):
He's just got to stay in his red Toyota. Uh
turns out obviously good Dolkin. We've known since the beginning
of this season. Uh is bach it later from the
Wicked movie and a bunch of He's SpongeBob as well
in that musical as well. But it's it is funny
of like this is probably the next big thing since
Wicked has come out, Like, oh man, where's Nasa when
(49:39):
you need her? She hate her in the next movie
even more. I know the thing with two wappens.
Speaker 3 (49:49):
The is gonna follow eventually.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
What don't spoil that, Kevin for me? I don't want to.
I obviously don't know that at all, but Essentially, we
find out Goodulkin has been technically puppet in he Doug
Bridpill this entire time, and is able to puppet from
bright Pill to other soups aka Goodalkin has a wide
range of I guess, a big wi fi of controlling people.
(50:12):
He leaves as the group escapes, thinking all right, we
did it. No, you failed. That is why you failed.
Because Goodulkin escapes, sees the pledge who find out his
power is his feet can turn into hands and and
he kills him.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
That reminds me of the episode of Family Guy when
they all got mutant powers and makes just make her
nails a little long.
Speaker 1 (50:37):
But yeah, I think that's that's how the episode ends,
and we know next week, uh it is Goodulkin wanting
to start his calling of the school, and I assume
we get a big boys cameo next week because that's
how it happens the first episode.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
In the last episode, yeah, on the first one was
we saw all the deep I believe.
Speaker 1 (50:54):
And we had starlight this season too.
Speaker 3 (50:57):
And in the next week home such a stage as well.
She'll be around. It looks like probably keep ass on
things for Homeland or want of guessing, But yeah, I
thought it was a really cool episode, very what's the word.
It's still good, but it was very like mellow. It wasn't.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
The start of something bad. It's going to happen right
now and.
Speaker 3 (51:20):
Then I'm just see how next week they will make
this fit into the larger story of the boys with
Homeland and basically rhyming bought in the country now.
Speaker 1 (51:27):
Basically now, Kevin prediction wise for the finale next week,
who do you think isn't making it? Besides red Shirt?
We obviously know Scrag red Shirt isn't gonna make it.
Speaker 3 (51:38):
I think I shoot the actor. We were just talking
about polarity. I think you're gonna make a sacrific sacrifice
to to follo other kids.
Speaker 1 (51:46):
Basically, yeah, I think that makes sense of just how
much we've learned about his powers in recent episodes of like, oh,
he's the only one that can kind of counteract Cipher
we thought at the time, but technically a Dalkin at
the other time at the other times. And it's funny
is now you can go back and watch the other
episodes and realize, Oh, Sinster Sage has a has a
thing for Godlkin, not for Zeipher. That's why she let
(52:09):
him watch while they were having sex the whole time, like, oh,
this makes more sense now, and then.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
The whole thing where he said this week, I don't
forget what well I feels like to be healthy, Like, oh, shoot,
not gonna like for long because you're gonna do something
to sacrifice yourself next week. And then we'll get the
blood dripped from the nose and he's all famous them. Yeah,
I'm kind of sad, but book to see it.
Speaker 1 (52:30):
Yeah, I think that makes the most sense because I
think you got to keep Marie around to be uh
the bombers in play for you know, the boys, all
the other characters I think obviously flesh her out, but
it will be interesting with the boys. I mean, we'll
talk about that next week if we get any ramifications.
Where is Hue, Where is Mother's milk? Where is Frenchy?
You know? And Kimmiko, like how does that group interact
(52:53):
with Stan Edgar and and you know, his granddaughter and
the kids from gen v of maybe forming a resist
sense to go up against helm Lander.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
And start like still flying around too, want to set
Marie on this path? So who is helping Starlight to
do that kind of stuff? And I do think this
will end with Marie kind of being put away somewhere,
and at some point they'll figure out in he'son five
of the boys that we have to breaking re out.
She's the only shot.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
He's only shiit she Oh she could heal Butcher, she
can Butcher.
Speaker 3 (53:28):
I kind of foresee also a moment of like Avatar
season two, the end of her getting like really really strong,
something happened, but she's like shot in the back something
like that. We don't see the full magnum powers, and
that's what kind of puts her in a bunker somewhere.
Speaker 1 (53:40):
Basically, all right, I like it Andre comes back. No,
he's dead. Sorry, guys, that's not possible. That's not that
I'm like, oh, we'll come back. No, he's no. The
actor unfortunately passed away, so that's not gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (53:51):
But I do think we may see that next week too.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
Yeah, I think so too. I think that's the Bigger
Boys connection right now. Uh, that would make sense to
tee up whatever's next and who Stan Edgar is working
with too for the next season, because oh, I forget
the other CEO's name. Like we loved all the CEOs,
but Stan Edgar is like he's o G You know
he's because it's John Carlos Posito, so.
Speaker 3 (54:17):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
Can't get cooler than that. But any other thoughts Kevin
on gen V.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
I I'm really enjoyed the season. It flew by like
it always does. I'm looking forward to see how to
tee up the Boys because the Boys, Man, the Boys,
Boys fantastic television.
Speaker 1 (54:32):
Can't wait next year. We got some good TV. Next
year we're gonna be pretty stacked with TV as always.
But let us know what you thought about gen V.
Haven't been watching it because I know a lot of
people haven't because they've been watching Peacemaker at the same time.
Now is the time because there's no Peacemaker this week,
so you can watch that instead.
Speaker 3 (54:49):
Thank God, Man, just be better than Peacemaker finale, Please
just be better than Boy.
Speaker 1 (54:54):
The Boys do pretty good with finales so far, they've
been pretty good.
Speaker 3 (54:59):
They have at mirreally yet You're right invincible.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
Well depends if they animate the episode or not so
exactly still image my ass. But you can see everything
we're gonna talk about always at Infinite Underscore Pods on
the Instagram. Od X gonna give it to you. You can

about what I don't know. There's no shows on right now,
so we will figure it out by Monday.
Speaker 3 (55:36):

Speaker 1 (55:38):
Maybe we'll play something game, or we go through another
Rolling Stone list and see if it is it a
hit or a miss.
Speaker 3 (55:45):
Wait, maybe on Sunday I can play Reddad while you
play Ghosts of SMA. We just sit here talking.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
About and you won't hear me talking, and I'm like,
damn it, God, that's all you hear. Go ambient ambience.
