I think, there you go. Uh, well, let's properly start
the podcast with something we like to call what You're Doing,
where we talk about the shows and movies we've been watching,
games have been playing, lives we've been living. And because
it is Thursday, yep, boy gets to go first. I
have a lot, a lot to get to get through.

I will tell you that right now. I've had a
day to day, but I want to get through the
other stuff before we get through today, because that's that's
a story in of its own right. But been playing
more Ghost of Sushima. It's been great. I met with
a bunch of the straw hat ronins and I thought
that was pretty cool, like liberating a base and getting
on the ship, and the thought it was a cool
little mission chain. I think I am vibing like that's

my like go to game right now. If I need,
like usually it's two k we might get back there
eventually because there's a new version that came out they
have to pay for. But that's okay. But it's been
fun and I stick with the Travelers outfit because I
want to look at that map and have no fog
on it.

Did you if you're looking at any of the new
stances yet.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I did, I don't know how to They're just there.
I'm like, oh, I gotta change my stands. Okay, cool.
Every time it tells me to change the stance.

I've been pay part of the game was using the stands, like, aha,
I know what you got two sords? Yeah, I gotta
stand for you well.

And it's funny because it's probably been a week since
I played it last and I forgot all the buttons.
I'm like, I had a slow down time button at
one point for my arrows, and I don't know what
the sticky button is the we're just gonna spam. Here's
a wind chime, winch chime, winch chime.

You eventually get like this ridiculous spinning kick on circle
that it's amazing.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
I love it so much. I'm excited for that your
boy did get for the first time since I was
probably like twelve a physical library card this week, so
that's been pretty cool. So now I can go on
Libby all the time and read comic books, which is great.
You say physical, I'm like, you have been doctors and
you twelve the library. You're not physical? No, stop right now,

go to the doctor. Go to the doctor. Jesus, it's
good to the doctor. And then Halloween wise more and
I I went and pulled trigger and I bought Scooby
Doo on Zombie Island. The classic Scooby Doo movie Alien
Invaders is actually on Paramount if you're looking to watch it.
And we bought The Witches Ghost because those are just
they're good. They're classic kitty. But I'm mature at the

same time.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, I mean Scooby Doo is. I feel like Scooby
do is like in that renaissance of like all the
millennials and older gens us that to watch it as
a kid are like still I love it. It's kind
of like there's almost like there's fun Bob in a way.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah. Yeah, but it's a good time. If you need
something to watch, that's like good for everybody. I think
that's the go to. That's a good go to. And
they're cheap. It's like two bucks each. And their movies
anywhere eligible, so you can take it anywhere, which is fun.
They dissolved into Fandango, right, No, Fandango dissolved into them
movies anywhere, which you are correct. We probably will get

to a time and place where movies anywhere dissolves and
then those movies that you boughto.

Because I I have movies on there. Then sometimes I
log into my iTunes account, why don't I have this?

I have an episode want to work off episode of STO.

Yeah, or like you got a free code of something
randomly and you're like, okay, cool, yeah it's connected.

I have a Ravens game from twenty ten. I don't
know why I bought it, but I bought it.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
I don't even know why. It's movies anywhere eligible for sure.
That's four hours counts, all right. And then I personally, mate,
I wanted to challenge myself. I watched the first two
Terrifier movies this week, and that's that's why I was like, Oh,
speaking of your wife, who's probably seen those movies. They're
bloody and it's all nasty.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Sometimes here's the thing is like, I feel like when
you watch those movies, you are moved and like, that's
not so disturbing. My wife laughs, that's scary.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
But Art the clown, which is the mascot of Terrifier,
is a little funny at times when he's in the
Halloween store trying on glasses. That's funny, but then it
gets real grotesque after the funny part.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, and my wife will laugh through those grotest parts
and think it's hilarious. I'm like a woman just lost
her eyes.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
What you saw? The woman in half vertically not horizontally vertically?
The hell exactly. That's why I was like, oh, oh,
it's not how I thought that was gonna go.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
But sure, exactly.

And then uh, let's get to today. So today was
actually a big day to day if you're buying tickets
because Ticketmaster had one pre sale. Seek Geek had another
big pre sale today, Kevin, Which one do you want
to talk about first, the Bread and Butter or the
country one.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Ah, Let's do Sea Geek one first, because they kind
of knew I guess, okay, we have turned against them yet,
but then.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
We will return it against them today, Kevin, because today
was the pre sale for the Alan Jackson One More
for the Road concert, which essentially is I think it
was a couple months ago when Ozzy Osbourne was alive.
They had the tribute to Ozzy and it was like
there was a retirement concert and he was done. After that,
Alan Jackson's essentially doing the same thing in June and

(08:45):
wanted to get tickets for certain someones in my family,
and I was like, you know what, they don't know
how to do pre sales. I'll get ahead of this. Surely,
surely I can get ahead of this and get four
reasonably pressed tickets. No, because Sea Geek is still stuck, says,
you're in the line. The line started at eleven o'clock.
Only it is three o'clock. This podcasts recording.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
As somebody who worked in country radio for about almost
five years, I can't believe ADL. Jackson's is still in
the main honestly, I think that.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Well.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
The interesting thing is to this concert, liked Ozzy Osbourne,
has a lot of other artists that are performing, so
like Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood. I think Luke Combs, a
couple other people are performing. So I get why it's popular,
not mostly because of Alan Jackson, but because there's other
country artists that you kind of you get to see,
but they're not really singing their songs. It's a whole thing.

(09:38):
I did get in at one point to the actual
buying of tickets. Windows cheapest seats three hundred dollars just
at the Titans Stadium in Nashville. I had to buy
four of them. I can't get the seats that are
in the nosebleeds because the certain someone's can't walk up that.
So oh man, so we're to see.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
I know.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
It is a weird time to buy tickets because there's
pre sales, and there's cardholder sales, and then there's the
general sale. Uh And a fun fact, the pre sales
usually are a certain allotment of tickets, like they reach
a threshold most events, and then the general on sales
like everything else. But that's TBD depending on the event.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Three dollars, you said you buying four, so.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
We pass on that for the price. We're gonna see
what happens on Friday, maybe when we wake up early
tomorrow morning, and it will be a little cheaper price,
or we can get in faster. At least I will
say this.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Also, use your tools because I know for a fact
that your boss is a PD of two country stations.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
I also was told that, but I'm also have no
relations with said man.

But the bright side, let's switch on over the Ticketmaster story.
It's been months in the making, some would say years
in the making. And thought, hm, ten o'clock today, Surely,
surely we could get tickets for Capitol and Arena in
December m H. And I'm sad to say myself and
my brother will be going to see John Cena.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Saturday Night's made events December thirteenth and the Capinal Want Arena.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
And we still don't know who's the ponent will be.
There are a lot of rumors in there. Yes, I'm
happy that because I feel like I was more I'm
more of an attitude era like original wrestler plan. But
I know you guys and your brother I wrote from
the regression area, so I really think it's really cool
you got to can go see your last match awesome.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Uh so Ticketmaster everything was a whole story too, because
originally it was supposed to be a group of seven
of us going and that's not possible from re saling
or buying tickets like this, So we had to split
up to a group of three. And so is my brother,
one of his best friends, and myself that went to
go see spack down last month. And is wild because

at one point when I logged in, the cheap seats
were two hundred dollars, and that's the very top row
four hundred dollars. This is kind of a news story.
There was fifty thousand people in the waiting room at
one point for a venue that holds at most on
a good day fifteen eighteen thousand. That's if you fill

every seat. Yeah, without setups. Lo and behold, your boy
got in the right, right time, right place. Tickets sold
out immediately. Now I was bummed, and I was like,
that happened. Then the Alan Jackson thing happened. I said,
when I came back home for today after an hour commute,
let me, just for giggles, check the ticket master real quick.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
What happens?

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Two hundred dollars? We got tickets each? So hey, we'll
take it. The chair, and I know we talked about
the last time we went to WrestleMania, where that had
a little swag beas you could buy when you were
preordering things like the little ticket, the kermina umber of
ticket that's like back there, and the magnet or the chair.
The chair for Johnsena's last match, three hundred and fifty dollars.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
I want to tell him, mut that will be actually
in twenty years a lot. That'll be at least I'll
say at least ten.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
And I will appreciate. They did show you the actual
graphic on the chair this time. So remember for Mania
it was like a placeholder. This was like John Cena's face.
You're sitting on them, so that's a whole thing. Sit
on Johnson, sit on John Cena. So I'm excited. Interesting enough,
the credit card declined the purchase at first, and more
called me, what's going on, So don't worry, don't worry,

just accept it. So there is a little bit of
a weird period of I think we're good because it's
all my ticket Master accounts.

So it happened to me too in Disney World, with.

A little bit of a different pressure cheesecake egg rolls
for twenty dollars versus about eight hundred dollars with cleaning
taxes and fees and all that good stuff. But I'm excited, obvious.
We'll talk about this when it gets closer. But I
think the Undertaker supposed to have his dead Man One
dead Man, One dead Man podcast or whatever the whole
weekend on the Friday, and then there will be a

superstore in DC. Uh So they're gonna post up right
outside Capitol on Arena so you can actually visit and
buy stuff. I'm gonna go there every day after work,
just like just be hanging out in there.

Well, I'm actually thinking about maybe because I can't. I
think I'm off the week the Monday that the SmackDown
is it was open early. I might I think my
mom going down and see what they have. Yeah, sure, luckily.

Where I am on the Metro, it's three stops from
Gallery Place. Uh So that'll come in real clutch of
like our spire stuff. All right, let's take a back

Good point. It's a good point. I may even because well,
I couldn't go this time, because I promised my daughter
I would get her Wicked tickets for a birthday because
they'll be at the Hypodrome here in Baltimore. Yeah, I'm
on her birthday literally, Yeah, but I may because broke
from me and my buddy at WrestleMania. I mean to
go to the box office not that far away. Just
go to pay quick click what you got.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Yeah, And that was I was funny because friend of
the podcast movie Eric, he got tickets to his brother
buys them for them, and it's luckily he got a
club seats. I was like, good for you, but he
also has said yeah, normally, like you've said this too.
Actually for when you went for WrestleMania, you would buy
NXT tickets and they'd be pretty cheap and you got
in like the front row that one time.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, Because I mean, if you watch NXT takeover Dallas
twenty sixteen, you can see me and my buddy ben
I outside going. Some of the interest is we paid
seventy five bucks a piece for those tickets. Like it's
not bad at all, yeah, because they get the show
trying to filthy arena, so they're just.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Like, you know, how much how much one takes yeah,
so there are four hundred level seats, but you know,
I'm gonna take it just to be in the second
I was in the building. Luckily. I think that that's
the interesting thing too, is this is in our backyard.
So it's like, well, I'm not paying for a hotel,
not paying for a flight, exactly, I'm taking the Matro
that's two bucks two there and coming back home and

You know. It's definitely an easier bargaining bargaining because when
I went to Rawl, I spent a little more I
usually spelling tickets because my daughter went with me. Leaving,
I was like, no, what, I can spend a little
more because, like I said, I'm not taking a flight,
not getting a hotel. I want to buy food before
we leave.

Yeah, I know the spots I can eat locally before
I go into the venue exactly.

And honestly it is stretful talking about think the arena
because the lines are so long.

Yeah, and it's not even convenient. I think the other
thing is too. Even if this is one match, it's
just John Cena match and a bunch of retrospectives. I'm
fine with that.

Well, you also have a lot of things other things
going on now that could be happening at that See,
a Punk could be champion, Cody Rose could be Federal Marindy.
That's not a lot of things gonna be going on
at that show besides, Jo, like, you picked a really
good show to go to.

Actually, yeah, let's go. But so yeah, started back with
the Alan Jackson, got better with the John Cena. So, Kevin,

Doing Showcase Mode right now. I just finished match. I
just finished. I just finished the usso's and the New
Day in the Hell in the Cell match, and I
got kind of sad. I was like, oh, the New
Day not the same anymore. I got kind of up
different now. So I've been doing that also. Then what

I wanted to start at Tim Robinson show today, but
I forgot about it unfortunately.

Oh the Chair Company, Yes, I've heard good things. I
think we're waiting until after Halloween to start that.

Yeah, I think I've discovered that Tim Robinson is my
brain of comedy, so I now I follow him wherever
he goes. Ever since Detroiters, Detroiters was great, it's even
if kids I was the SML were great. But of
course I think you should leave. It's just an all
time comedy classic. In my view. I think it's just
it's literally, if you want to know what my sense
of humor is, watch, I think you should leave.

But I've been doing that, been doing really. I think

So in case you missed out yesterday the Hollywood Reporter,
this was kind of more of like an expose than
more of a like an article or an interview or
anything like that. But according to experts, UH, the Tron
franchise has been is being retired after the Tron Aries
to do to poor box office performance and absolutely no

one talking about the movie unless you saw it besides us.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
I mean, you saw it, you said it looked great,
but it wasn't the strongest movie in the world, and
many reviews have said the exact same thing, so it
is it is not surprising. The second one did make
four undred million dollars worldwide, but only made one hundred
and seventeen million dollars in the in the in America,
so most of us money came out came internationally. So

and then the first one, again it was a cult favorite.
First one literally made thirty three million dollars.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
So this is this is a cult movie that they
tried to read three times.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
And make it make a wide stream, but it's just
it's it's a cult classic for a reason.

Yeah. So interestingly enough, on Ninti White in chat says
confused as to why this movie exists in the first place.
Money and guess what the didn't get money, So so
making anyone specific specifically, But if you remember Tron Legacy
came out, it was Disney. I don't even think they
had owned Lucasfilm then and they maybe have just purchased Marble.

It was right before all the right before during all
those acquisitions.

Yeah, and so really Tron was like, hey, we need
something that's not a kid's movie. Uh So that's why
Tron Legacy existed. But because that did okay at the
box office, and you had tomorrow Land also come out
that did bad, Disney kind of stopped doing it's ride
adaptations or legacy properties into movies, which is why we

haven't had you know, uh, we've had an a mansion movies,
so technically it's not true.

But the mansion we had Jungle Cruise. Of course, Project
Caribbean is the best one, most one they ever done.

end with Marie kind of being put away somewhere, and
at some point they'll figure out in he'son five of
