Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh hi friend, Special Podcasts, Special Thought Shower Exclusive. I am.
I'm very excited about this. This is going to be special.
As you know, I lost my dog Chewy on New
Year's of this year and it has been a horrible
four months. It's been the absolute worst in so many ways.
(00:25):
You know. I talked about this earlier too, that it's
it doesn't quite hit me until I drive home, you know,
like when I'm at work or at the gym or whatever,
you can kind of lie to yourself that things are normal.
But when it's time to go home, that's when it
hits that, oh, he's not there. And it's been a
search process the last four months, kind of finding myself
(00:49):
and navigating through this and the overwhelming decision I guess
or goal of this loss is to do positive and
that's why we're doing this. Chewy Forever is going to
be a weekend of comedy shows June twentieth, June twenty
first the Arlington Draft House in Arlington, Virginia. These are
(01:13):
the only shows of the tour. It's a Friday and
Saturday benefiting the Warrior Canine Connection. So I had the
idea for these shows, and by the way, if you're
hearing this now. So this is coming out Tuesday morning.
I'm posting on Instagram later tonight, announcing on the show
Wednesday morning. So you hearing this means you have the
(01:35):
first chance of buy tickets Internsoncomedy dot com. I believe
they're fifteen dollars benefiting the Warrior Canine Connection now. They
are an amazing group. I had reached out to the
Fisher House folks a couple months ago saying, hey, if
I wanted to do something for a dog charity helping veterans,
do you have one of mind? And they managed it
right away, like Warrior Canine Connection. So what they do
(01:58):
and Saus and I went and visited them a few
months ago. They raised puppies to be service animals for veterans,
which is a very cool and special thing. And they
have veterans trained the dogs and they're a powerful group.
They're aspiring group. Saws and I went out there. We
had to meet some of the service dogs, got to
(02:19):
see the puppies as well, and so yeah, my whole
goal with losing Chewy has been how can I keep
his legacy alive and more importantly, how can I use
his legacy for good man, It's gonna be hard. He
(02:39):
he changed my life for the better, and I think
that as little as he was, he can change a
bunch of other lives too, And that's the goal with this.
So June twentieth, June twenty first, Arlington Draft House, Arlington, VA,
Chewy Forever benefiting in the Warrior Canine Connection. Tickets around
(03:03):

And you know the reason for that is it's gonna
be tough. It is. It's gonna be fun. Obviously, there's
be a lot of laughs. It's gonna be a very
emotionally draining show, but absolutely worth it. So I hope
