So a forty five Disney Trivia on the son of
G Morning Show right now, Big.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
News, what's up?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
It is sign of g o USD is doing our
educators wrong. Let me get win them good claps. Yesterday,
they held a rally during the board meeting that was
going on where they were actually discussing these budget cuts
that were going to be happening. They're potentially looking at
laying off about one hundred educators, including staffers at these
elementary schools along with teachers, and they're just sick and

(01:15):
tired of the up.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
And down going on within the district.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
These teachers were out there letting their voices be heard
because they're basically saying, it's just too much stress my.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Positions on the topping block. It's one of the cuts.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
That they're making. We're hoping that they are going to
pass an alternative budget tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Tonight is just to say no, make a decision that
doesn't cut the supports we need.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
It concerns me.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
That we have moves happening at the federal level that
could have potentially detrimental impacts on our special education students
because that's federal funding comes directly from the Palfard.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Department of Education.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
The Department of Education is being cut in half yes
right now.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
So it's interesting to see how it's going to move forward.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Even the food supplies like the free meals and whatever
is on the chopping block for these kids. And let's
face it, in our low income community, some of these
kids depend on these meals absolutely, and they go to
school to get a cart and a milk and you know,
something to eat in the morning so they can actually
get involved in their education for today. So I don't know,
We're in a weird time, man, the way we grew

(02:13):
up in school and how these kids are gonna be
growing up in school.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
So it's gonna be interesting to see how it changes.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
South Bay, we got your back, but doesn't like VTA.
Does let me get one clap two signing there it is,
let's talk about VTA.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yesterday was day three of this strike out there.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
We know that the drivers for the bus and the
light rail have been out on the picking lines basically
saying that their contract has ended and they haven't been
able to get back to the table to negotiate with
a VTA, And somehow Valley Transit's answer was, Yeah, we're
gonna go ahead and sue you guys for breach of
contract because you guys shouldn't be out here striking how
is that the answer?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
That's expired rou And apparently in the contract it said
no strike claus and so they're saying, hey, that ended
March third, exactly. Their attorney is saying it's it's still
valid because it's still in contract as far as employment.
But why would a breach a why would a no
strike clause be in a contract that already expired?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
But it doesn't make sense. So they're taking them to court.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
And now they're like, Okay, well, you know, I guess
we're gonna sit this out since you guys don't want
to come to the table. They haven't come to any
meetings or anything, and so this could take months for.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Them to actually get into court. So what does that
mean for South Bay commuters? Especially in weather like this?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
The contract expired, therefar, we're exercising our legal right to strike.
We give the agency a seventy two hour strike notice.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
They had the opportunity to file this claim on Friday,
and they chose not to.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Even after the term ends, it's still in place and
therefore the no strike clause is in effect.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
And from that perspective, we believe it was a breach.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah, I don't know, let's see what the judge says
about that. I'm guessing they're going to side with the union. Yeah,
we'll see before they back out there. God big news,
play a clap three times. Disneyland is celebrating their seventieth
birthday and.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
They want to the happiest.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
They want you to, well, they want you there.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
They're telling folks to come on down, and they're actually
having ticket deals right now on their website. If you
go on over there, you can actually purchase a multi
day theme part ticket starting at one hundred and twenty
bucks a day for three day passes.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Now.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
They also have deals going on for their hotels, given
about thirty percent off if you do want to go
ahead and stay in those you know, hotel spaces while
you go in this is the park. But the hotel
buys have to happen this week Okay, if you're all
gonna do that, got to happen this weekend. But if
you're going over to their website, of course, Disney dot com,
you can check out all that they have to offer

(04:35):
for this entire seventy year celebration.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
And it's a bunch of turnups out there.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
They got this Pixar Pals celebration, parade, a world of Color, happiness,
nighttime show, even a addition to the toy story, mid
Day Mania, a lot of things. They want you to
come on down and celebrate with them, because come on,
who don't want some Disney happy.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
I mean, you know what those times that I've heard parents, Oh,
I'm gonna surprise my kids like they don't even know whatever.
Those are precious moments that families share that can ever
be you know, forgotten or replaced.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
So I'm not saying take him out of school.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
You definitely got some long weekends coming up, and of
course spring break in summer, so make those plans, man,
in surprise you kids.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
It would be a great time school school.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
You did school today, I think we should ditch school
and go to Disneyland.

Speaker 4 (05:28):

love that video cube.

Speaker 2 (05:37):

in that meme where she's looking at you like huh.

they were.

out there in the South Bay apparently helping themselves, calling
themselves cleaning ladies coming and knocking on doors out there
and targeting. Apparently what they're saying is the agent Asian
community out there in the South Bay.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
One home.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
They took sixteen thousand dollars worth of jewelry out of
these O G's house.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah, apparently these ladies are coming in like you mentioned, chaying,
act like they're just cleaning ladies. And a couple of
the neighbors have stopped and one lady out there and
Berkeley was like, I saw him walking towards my neighbor's backyard.
I said, excuse me, what are you doing? And they
was like, they don't have a cleaning crew coming here.
So they ended up running out of the neighborhood. But
they've been seen in El Sorito Kanga places in a bit.

And I took our sign down right away because I
don't want to be the victim of another hate crime.

are connected dots and I've sees people before someone gets hurt.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
One of them has a I Love Me shirt on,
the sunglasses as they both walk around with their cross
body purses on. I mean, come on now, man, what
happened between you two? Is it hard times? And you're like, hey, Martha,

the jewelry?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
