Speaker 1 (00:01):
My sona g morning show phage number one for hip
hop and R and B HNI.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Here's your final chance. Whose song is this? Tell me
the artist the name of the song? Go ahead an
answer on the free I Heard radio app. Hold the
mic button down, go ahead and talk back to us
as what we call. It's next to a play button.
Can't miss it. It's red right on the app. And
let us know the name of the artist, the song,
Your name and number. I'm picking a winner next. What's
(00:30):
going on with the news? Arabiz sign of GPG and
E back at it again.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Let me get one of them good claps.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Well, pgn E is now going back to the California
Public Utilities Commission asking for another rate hike. Now, do
keep in mind last year they had six of them,
six of them all got approved, and now they're back
at it again, saying they need another five dollars and
fifty cents a month from every California using their service.
Now there's a lot of people who are saying that
(00:56):
their bills had already skyrocketed after the end of last
year's last hike. And there's a senator out there, Oshawahabus,
saying listen, man, I don't know about you, but my
folks in my district just ain't got it.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
The residents in my district in particular, are worried about
whether or not they should go buy groceries or keep
the lights on because their utility bills are in the
several hundred dollars range, sometimes even over one thousand dollars
for a single family home.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
This is ridiculous, that power going up.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
It's not cool for people like me.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
It's just outrageous.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Not cool for people like me either, girl, man, you know,
I mean, it's just gotten out of hand. And you know,
we're looking at insurance raid hikes, We're looking at PG
and E hikes all for things that you know they
should have been covering this whole time.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
They're really good at collecting money, not good at paying
it out. So obviously PG and E needs help with
all these lawsuits and bearing these power lines and everything else,
and they're going.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
To take it out on the people. What else could
you expect?
Speaker 3 (01:52):
This is a MRK trash God being us pay clapped
two times. Yesterday a judge made a decision in this
BTA strike situation. Now, if you remember, the strike started
back on March tenth, and they've been out there now
for three weeks, but there was a no strike clause
in their old contract and VTA took it to court
and the judge actually ended up ruling that that contract
(02:13):
no strike clause was still active and they had to
go ahead and return to work.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
So they are saying bus service is going to return tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Light roll service will be phased out after they make
some track inspections.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
She it's ugly for some people though, because they've been
walking everywhere. They caught one woman who was walking, you know,
in the area, and she was like, I've been walking
seven miles to get where I need to go for work.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Last week I want for my work and willow Glan
to Santa Clara, it was about seven miles, two hours
and a half. I can't do anything if I walk there,
it's going to take an hour and thirty one minutes.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
I used to ride the public service.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
I understand the needs of the community because we're with
them twenty four to seven.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
So we're heartbroken that we're having to be here.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
We look at this, it's kind of like a utility
went down. It's critical.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah, it's unfortunate.
Speaker 7 (03:01):
Man.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
So they're back to it.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I don't know exactly what that looks like, but if
you don't feel comfortable or whatever case may be, use
that voucher.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yep, got big news for your class three times.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Man.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Shout out to the folks over there from Takaria Zoro
out here in San Francisco on North Beach or in
a Northbach neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Basically, they had a break in earlier this week.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Somebody stole an ATM and two safes out of there,
and now the owner is saying, hey, we need help
with this entire situation. If anybody out there knows anything
or has any information, let us know.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
If you come in, we're able to go ahead and
use it.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Well, you get free lunch for a month, right, They're
just trying to get them perks in.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
Yeah, I mean, can you blame them, man?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Like you know, it's unfortunate that these brazen robberies continue
to happen.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
We saw it recently in a couple different places.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
They broke into the comic book shop over there in
Cashure Valley. Your full face within big old glasses you
got on kids, right, I swear I've seen you at
CVHS too. So if they figure out who that is,
because these cameras are all over the place. And another
person talked about them breaking into their van in Antioch,
a man who's built a business from the ground upright,
and these cats came in like clockwork. There was like
(04:10):
four or five of them, busted into his van, took
all his tools. Like there's just no respects amongst humans.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
And it's really said.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
We're happy to give you guys lunch for a whole month.
Come in every day, bring a friend. They're like a
little swat team. You know, they're a crew. This is
how they operate. There were guns drawn and they're going
back to the car getting tools. It felt like a
surgical operation. These non violent crimes that the city doesn't
want to prosecute or go after will turn violent in
(04:38):
a heartbeat if someone's in their way. It's frustrating, it's scary.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Say morning six.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
K M e X straight.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
To Nay. Werry is our clown of the day today,
also known as Sexy Red. Oh God, yeah, I mean
I know, emotions get high.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
One of the first things our bosses told us is.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
If you are drinking, upset, or whatever the case may be,
do not go to social media. And start posting or
tweeting or xen now or whatever the case may be,
because you're gonna get yourself in some trouble. And that's
exactly where Janee Warry, which is also known as Sexy
Red Rapper, got herself in hot with her kid's grandma.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, apparently this woman ended up I guess having an
issue with grandma aka Nicole Barnes fifty one years old.
Now she's set up there and posted a picture of
this woman's house on social media, and then while she
was alive, said, hey, why't y'all run up on her crib?
It's right here, here's the address, pull up on her
kicking the dog.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
She's doing a Kendrick Lamar putting a location dot on
Drake's home. And you know, obviously people showed up and
unfortunately for her, this is not something you need to do.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
And the grandmother is now pressing charges.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
She's in a full blown lawsuit because she said she
can't even you know, they had to move right. She
suffered emotional distress, like is it that bad that you
want to blast no one? That you got people following?
This is how I know her hood mentality has not
leveled out. Na said, you can take them out, but
you can't take it out of them. So you know,
obviously this is gonna be a really ugly situation for her.
(06:22):
She should have just known better, man, stay off of
social media.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
Dexi red slap with a new lawsuit tonight. According to
court document, she's accused of calling on her followers to
attack her child's grandmother, ask her fans on social media
to kick in the door of her grandmothers of the
grandmother's Hazelwood home. The suit also says the rapper asked
her followers to beat the woman up. That woman, Nicole Barnes,
says she and her family members had to move out
(06:46):
of the home for their safety. She also says she
lives in constant fear and had to go to therapy
for emotional distress.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
Clown is a clown, clowns old day a clown.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Okay, guys, I'm gonna tell you right now, make better
decisions today. Whatever you're feeling, try to sort that out
person a person. Don't take it to social media, make
threads or call on anyone to go hurt anyone. That's
just crazy to me, but I don't put it past
the woman has a lipgloss named gnarrhea. I mean it's
like it's right in line. You know what I'm saying,
(07:18):
it's right in line. I mean that is Saint Louis boy.
Make sure y'all be smooth today. Let's talk about what's
good in the bay here, signag. Earlier in the week,
we had discussed an unfortunate situation that happened out there
at Oakland even made these folks the clown. But it
looks like there's finally some redemption coming for this family
out there. We'll get into it a six fifty. Thank guys,
you know, the powers that pe are paying attention and
(07:39):
the community came together. So it's a good look, a
happy ending to a story that we first talked about
as being clown of today.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
Right, so we'll talk about it coming up in a second.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Plus, we love to hear from our people. The free
iHeartRadio app. Guess what it's free. Not a lot of
stuff is, so get that thing on your phone, and
it's also the way you're gonna get my outside Land
tickets coming up at a forty five. But also you
can hold down the micro hoe button on that thing
right next to the play button and talk back to
us and leave us a message at any time while
you're there.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Make us your number one pre set.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
We want's give you a son of genius.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Your boy, Bama boy, bill Outabam. We got your lockdown, Babe,
points up Bama.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Have a blessed day, Baby, appreciate y'all.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Spreads some good lot bege number one for hip hop
and R and B six point one k.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
Son that you want to show on cameo. Lets you
go sign it?
Speaker 1 (08:29):
What's up? Yo? You play?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
All right?
Speaker 2 (08:32):
So there's quite a few people already trying to take
this guest over here on the Free AR Radio app.
We played you a couple of the songs, and one
of the artists from the Outside Lands showed that's gonna
hit over here in the Bay.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
But twenty twenty five people are answering sup with that is.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
By Little Chris. The answer is Lula Chris.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
I know.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
The answer for the Outside Land tickets is Luda Gris.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Okay, but you gotta give us the name of the
song to tell us your name your number. We're gonna
randomly pick somebody coming up in just a little bit,
so you still have time to win. Hit up the
Free iHeart Radio op. That's where we're taking our winners.
Not on the request lines. Hold the microphone button down,
answer the question, name of the artist's song, and then
of course your name and number.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
What's going on with what's good there? Ub is sonag We.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Gotta show some love to this family and this seventeen
year old boy out there in Oakland. We talked about
it earlier in the week, Young TJ Man had somebody
steal his entire wheelchair as it was charging in the
front yard.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
But looks like it's finally a good a good ending
to the story. Absolutely, you know these people got lucky.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
I can't go outside anymore.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
Can't you spend time with friends? What are you doing
with that chair if you can walk and stuff?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
We're just sad that someone would come in and still
handicap equipment, not knowing how valuable it is to the family.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Can you my cheer back because I need it to
get out of the house or baby?
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, it was tragic, man, But obviously shout out to
Oakland PD because they were paying attention. I believe they
saw this news story posted online by one of our
media outlets, and they went ahead and saw it and
then they figured out where it was and got it
back to him.
Speaker 7 (10:01):
Somebody apparently unrelated was pushing it around, so we were
able to get it back from them and bring it
home to the family, and then we've made arrangements with ARU,
an Alternative Response unit to help the man who was
pushing it around to get his own wheelchair. It is
a sad story when we saw it online. We're just
happy to be able to help him out and hopefully
he can get out of the house and get back
(10:21):
to school. Right.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
Absolutely, that's a positive ending.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Is something that started off really bad with all the
brazen robberies and just people helping themselves to stuff that
is not theirs. So and the person who obviously took
it and needed it also got a chair, so it's
a good ending.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Man.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Definitely is a shout out to TJ's friends who are
carrying them inside after school now bringing them back out
to get a little bit of fresh air. And now
y'all hopefully you know, you can hang out with the
young boy while he's right.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Absolutely, what's good in the bay? Big news is coming
back at nineten.
Speaker 5 (10:51):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (10:52):
You know, sign of g A lot of us out
here are fed up with all the increase and inflation
that's been happening, but one big one that we can
get away from us pgn E, and it looks like
they're back at their old tricks.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
We'll talk about it at nineteen.
Speaker 7 (11:04):
Big news is
