Speaker 1 (00:02):
Morning shows six men phage number one for hip.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hop and R and B.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Alright, we gotta get right to it. We got news
for the people. What's going on? Bizna ge, Let's talk beethe.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Let me get one of the good class got well,
not the ones that result in fighting, but.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
We're talking about the you know, the beef that we
generally like to eat. Well, those beef prices are going up, y'all.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
If you thought eggs were bad enough, it looks like
now there's been an increase pretty much across the country
around ten percent on our beef prices. And they're saying
that's because somehow there's a cattle shortage.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
What is going on?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Yeah, because if you've gone anywhere pass Livermore or the
other way, you know that there's cows everywhere here. But
we're not getting hit the hardest here in California, you know.
And they are saying, you know, the beef producers to
buy local, because you know, when we get stuff in
cows from Mexico and from Canada, there's obviously gonna be
those you know, terriff situations that we're looking at.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
But they said there's a shortage.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
They even went so far to say that they are,
you know, doing slaughters younger to be able to keep up.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
It's just disgusting. I know.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
When I saw this story and I saw the beef
people talking about it, I was like, oh, there was
a secondmentary not too long ago, and they showed like
how they you know, what the process is, and how
all of that has got me going vegan today, salad up,
I just can't man. And then eggs I barely like
we found a dozen finally the other day at Trader Joe's.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Oh yeah, like for something.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
It was like for something, and I mean we don't
really eat eggs, so I was like, should we just
go all the way in. I don't know, because it's scary,
but yeah, I mean beef apparently is going to have
the same situation go on as we did with the
eggs with the bird flew.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
So now there's a shortage.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Yeah, there's only so much you can absorb as far
as the hit hit your bottom line before you say
to yourself, you have to raise these prices, show with
savings of value to the customer, and hopefully you have
more customers to generate your revenue.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
I was literally shocked to see that dozen of eggs
at nine to twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Six cattle prices or record levels. That's working its way
up through the system.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
What I hope for the future is the consumers will
become more aware of the situation we're in from an
overall food supply perspective, and that they will shop more
local and regional.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
We'll see I mean, if you got some super beef eaters.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
I mean, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a
stake every now and again, But after watching some of
these videos, I think I'm gonna take a pause on
the beef, especially if they're trying to come for us
with it. We already know we're looking at huge inflation
prices at the grocery store.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
So it might be that time to switch up. Man,
got big news for your clap two times.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Shout out of all of our VTA drivers down there
in the South Bay as they enter it to this
third week of their strike. We know those buses and
light rails have been on a standstill because they continue
to wait for a brand new contract offer. Well, yesterday
the union sat down with the VTA and they were
offered a contract. But the union is like, there's some
of these some of these details were not really good on. Man,

(02:52):
They're questioning overtime and also a few things like still
having that damn you know a lawsuit in place.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah, I was unfortunate that they wanted to go ahead
and take a lawsuit stance on that when they said
they was a breach of contract for them to be striking.
But that thing had expired and now they want to
bring it back mediation. We had gone back and forth
and they had removed those items from the discussion.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So it seems like the companies and making a U
turn on some of these conversations.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
The offers now in the hands of ATU leadership whoill
hopefully put it to vote of their members so we
can get it own back to work and get our
passengers where.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
They need to go.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
It's been almost a month that people have not had
the VTA option, so it's kind of sad, man.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
And here we go. We're continuing another week. Hopefully they
figure it out. Got big news for your clap three times?
How y'all brackets looking marks madness?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Man. I know a lot of myf folks over the
weekend with sweat and bullets trying to see if they
teams were going to win and we did have some
Bay Area representation in there. Shout out to Cal women's team,
who unfortunately ended up losing in the first round to
Mississippi State, but shout out to you ladies have a
fantastic season. It was wonderful to watch. And also Saint
Mary's men who moved on past the first round against

(03:59):
vanderb Built but ended up losing yesterday against Alabama. So
shout out to y'all for at least holding it down
to representing the Bay. But basketball is not done out here.
This week, we are gonna see the Pac twelve Conference
hosts over at the Chase Center on Thursday and also
on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
It's a kickoff of the Sweet sixteen.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
And you know what, this game is gonna be one
to see because Florida is favored to win the entire thing.
So if you got some Hoopers in your family, you
might want to go out there and watch them play
Maryland because they're probably gonna take that all the way.
So that's gonna be real big. And we just saw
the video. It truly is March madness. Yes, because we
saw the coach what's his name, Oh yeah, he lost it, dude,

(04:44):
during the press conference after he they took that loss
to Michigan, And I just tell you these coaches again,
it's truly March badorft.

Speaker 7 (04:54):
So just don't tell me you want to win.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
And it's every day. I'm tired of it.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
I'm upset with everybody in that locker room and coaches
and my players, and it's a joke with the truth
of it has been. It's really hard to coach people
that are delusional. The hungry dog gets the bomb. We
got guys that think they're way better than they are.
They're nice kids, they're completely delusional about who they are.
And the team that's mind is on the right stuff
and hungry to get a win in conference play is

(05:20):
the team that's probably gonna win.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, so people are saying that's either Duke or Florida.
So we'll see what's up. Who is in your bracket?
How much money you got on that thing? I know
people are gambling like crazy right now on these games.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah, I know it's about to go down. Shout out
to my guy Ryan, who lost some money over the weekend. Yes,
I said it, Ryan, your bracket was weak.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
He just doesn't make good choice of Shout out to
right straight again.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
I love y'all delivery drivers out there. I can't stress
that enough, because, shoot, you're.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Bringing me my stuff.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
You're doing me a service, right, So there's no way
that I'm ever gonna be disrespectful unless you break something
to mind.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
And I see you do it in my ring camera.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
These people apparently, I don't know, running the business out
of their home, but doing stuff like even having like
really like a lot of packs of water and all
kinds of things delivered to their front door. And this
I don't know if she's Amazon or Walmart, but she
decided she was gonna let loose in their ring camera.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, that was the day she had had enough their snag.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Now. I don't know exactly how many buckses she had
in that truck. It looked like it was hot down
there in Texas. But it shouldn't cause you to put
your job on the line just because you frustrated with
the family.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I mean, she was tired of going there.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
She was like, I was waiting for this day because
I knew it was gonna come.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
To tell you how much I hate this house.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
You are the laziest house in this whole goddamn neighborhood.
Consider it everything about all you.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Have to do is ordered the store for one more
pickle truck yourself. You are the laziest and break our
next we break everything the bankless.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
I hope you know that. So I believe she's a
Walmart delivery person. But also these people are funny and
jerks because they posted out another video of an Amazon
driver who brought a whole dolly full of heavy boxes
right to put on their porch. He dumped it right out,
He dumped it on the floor, let him fall wherever
they felt, and then threw up.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
The deuce sign like yeah, I did that.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
So apparently these people just start taking super advantage of
what's going on with the free delivery service.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Be kind to your drivers today because you don't want
them ruining your property.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
You also don't want to get cussed out on your
ren cap.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
You a clown clowns all day.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Clown man, you a clown guy. A young lady is
a supreme athlete out there, and she set a new
challenge for herself, even know she's got.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
A lot of accolades already in her sport.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Man.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
She's from Oakland and she's trying to do big things.
We'll talk about it coming up for What's Good in
the Bad.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Holding it down. I'm saying the rest of y'all out
there with middle schoolers, you might have to give theybody
have to see those young girls say go ahead, get
a little bit of inspiration.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
We'll get into it. Eight point fifty right here.
