It was a beautiful time because we kicked it at
Benny Hannah her friends came out.

the whole hibachi thing. I think my our cook's name
was James, So that was dope. And then we sticked.

I didn't even get a chance to hit the casinos.
They're saying Table Mountain Casino up there is like Vegas. Now. Really,
I did not even get a chance to get up there,
and I asked my dad, but you know, he's pushing
like eighties, so you know, for him to get around.
And we did get around a bit. Yeah, we spent
a whole two and a half hours at the gosh
damn a second hand store. I would have rather spent

that kicking around the slots over there Table Mount and
Chuck Johnson at.

Least getting some drinks and throwing some money around.

of fact, it's pretty popular right now to go in
there and try to find something. I remember one time
I found this like train conductor watch, like a stopwatch,
a pocket watch for my dad, and I gave it
to him. I went home and he had it on
his chair and he thought my sister gave it to him.

hanging out with family and eating some good food. And

Actually, the day before Thanksgiving, his wife actually had surgery
on her knee. Heel up quickly, Janis yes, sending love
and prayers.

his wife's.

Always like, yeah, they always hitting on Drew. She won't.

him off of the stick. But yeah, so she's recovering.
So my dad was out there focusing on that. So
I stayed at home, man, really, And I didn't even
go like rock with none of my aunties and nothing
like that like I typically do.

I'm just tired, like this year has just gosh, it's
drag on so long. I feel like we've all had
so many things that have happened not only just in
society but just daily life. You know, fucking inflation and

Made some food at home and stayed my ass in
the crib and I was like, that's what I pay

I was like, you know what, I'm gonna just go
start loading.

definitely don't need it, you know. I just feel like
right now, just I'm in a good space. You stay
wherever the hell you at right hopefully it's far far
from me. So I'm yeah, for sure it was just

but outside of that, I think the holiday was cool.
I feel like Les probably had the best one out
of all of us. I mean, you can't go wrong
in Vegas.

Man, he looked like he had a good time. He
needed a break, that guy.

Got blessed him with a little chit chinghing when he
got to Vegas put in an want a hundred. So
you know, shoot, the house always wins at least, you know,
sometimes you just break even.

Yeah, it was a beautiful thing man. Also, I will
say we got to send some love to some of
our Bay area family who didn't have such a good holiday,
you know. Seeing what happened with those kids over there
in Pea, my man, was heartbreaking.

Yeah, Kristen, Soren and Jack I believe we're the three
Piedmont High school kids who it was all over the news.
I mean it was what three am Thanksgiving morning. They
were in a cyber truck. I guess they don't really
know how the story went. Could have been speeding involved,
there could have been drinking involved. There could have been

a number of things, but they still don't know obviously,
because the cyber truck immediately burst into flames and only
one kid I believe his name was Jordan's survived because
there was a car of kids coming from the same
function behind him, or one dude at least that was
actually able to pull him out of the back. But
the front whoever was up there like they got, you know,

crushed between the tree and that divider wall. So can
you imagine like waking up the you know, shoot, they
probably didn't sleep and there was Thanksgiving canceled, Like how
could you even move forward? You got some freshman college
freshmen that didn't even make it home that morning to
celebrate with their family. So that was really sad.

There was a lot going on for Thanksgiving, including football.

We watched Shout out to my guy Mike Washington out
there in sacrament He is a New York Giants fan.
He swears he's from New York. I was like, Mike,
you left before you were even one years old. Okay,
you're from where you went to high school.

But he's a huge Giants fan and we seem to
beat them all the time. We got the Giants number,
I guess the Cowboys, So yeah, we won and I
saw my turn duccin. He kicked it big with the fam.
You know, my dad was happy about that win. Yeah,
I mean it was a beautiful one, I'll tell you that.
Much certainly better than the lost the Raiders took. You
know it, we always play Kansas City. I feel like hard,

you know what I mean. But damn man, that game
was heartbreaking. I'm sitting there and I'm trying my best
not to let them drive me to drink. Oh, it
doesn't take much, you know, it definitely doesn't doesn't take much.

But as I'm watching the game and receiving voice notes
from my brother, just back and forth, he's elated in one,
the next one he's cursing.

of seconds, and then what happens. We're driving. You got
the chance to win the game, you only down two points.
One field goal will do it. You're in damnar field

So that's where I grew up. That's where I want

really I went to Fireball High the same high school

Niners honestly probably gonna go into rebuilding mode after this.
I would be shocked if they didn't go ahead and
give Rock pretty another contract because he definitely needs it
at the end of the year. But they're probably gonna
start moving some pieces around.

Gonna say it's gonna be Bills and Chiefs at the
Super Bowl this year.

Really, you know what, well, well, they'll they'll play in
the AFC Championship Game.

I think I think the Lions actually have a really
good chance of getting to the ball.

These fans are good too, because last year, you know,
they lost those Niners in the NFC Championship Game, so
they could have been there. But I think I think
the Lions will probably be there. And I'm I can't
wait to see the Bills take the Chiefs because that's
gonna be a hell of a game show. We'll see
one of them will be there.

Yeah, that's gonna be a who's who. And I went
and made time. I saw every damn movie that people
were talking about. Yes, so the big hitters for the
holiday weekend were Gladiator, Muwana two, and Wicked.

Yeah, and all three of them. I saw all three,
Damn yeah.

I was on it because what else, you know, We
got home a little early from Fresno on Friday, and
I was like, shoot, let's just go to the movies, right,
aside from finishing my house decorations or whatever for Christmas.
And so I walked out on Gladiator. Why so, I
didn't elaborate that much on the air because we only
got so much time when I play music and whatever.
But I was just really disappointed on the storyline, the

filmography of it, the cinemography of it, how they shot it,
and I didn't see the purpose and having Denzel Washington
in it aside from star power, right, because everybody was keeked.

They kept putting Denzel out there. Denzel's in this Denzel Denzel, And.

I'm like, okay, and you really got Denzel from Training
Day in this movie because it just looked like he
was at Dirty Cop, but in some robes.

In this movie because he kind of played a villain
or whatever.

You know, he replaced I forgot who played the original
yeah villain from the first one.

I don't know the best I could describe h as
Ringmaster because it kind of had like a traveling entertainment
thing and like sales thing of people and animals and whatever.
But he replaced that role and I just felt like
it wasn't necessary. And aside from him, the actors in it, yeah,
a little spar huh kind of sopar.

He definitely I say he sat into that antagonist role absolutely.

when him and Pedro they were doing like a red
carpet or something. He was like, oh, I'm so happy
to be getting the trilogy, so I guess there's gonna
be another one. And Denzel was like, that's cool, I'm
not gonna be in it, and I thank you for
that Denzel, because you know, he's a.

I just felt like it didn't it didn't do the
first one any justice. And I watched the first one
with my daughter the day before we went to go
watch that.

But for Gladiator, I just had really high hopes and
it was I walked out. I walked out of the
movie theater and I paid thirty seven dollars for some

of it, though, the guy who's playing the main character,

I want to do her justice because she did such
a great job in the movie along with Ariana Grande,
just did an amazing job. And she is actually the
star of the Broadway. She played el fab el Faba,

Like because her and Ariana they've definitely been doing a
huge spress. Yeah, you know, absolutely, I'll say that much.

And Cynthia or Evil Yep, yep, she's amazing.

She's smaller than Ariana Grande, if you can imagine that,
because there's scenes in the movie where like, damn, Ariana
looks so big to compare to her. But she's amazing vocals. Yeah,
and although there was a lot of music, and I
will tell you you have to be in the mood
for that, because I felt like I was in the
mood to just take in the film. Yeah, in the middle,

it's like back to back songs, okay, but not all
of them are full songs. Some of them are like
they sing one line and then it's over and they
start back into acting or whatever.

So there's a lot of acting singing in.

The front, a lot of singing in the middle, and
then at the end when it starts to get action packed,
the singing slows down until the very end. And I
will tell you there's going to be a part two. Okay,
all right, but just a huge production, like the dance
scenes alone, if you like Broadway productions and whatnot. And
obviously this is film level, so the props and everything

are bigger and better and it's not live, so they
take their time to get it right.

It's pretty amazing some of the stuff that they did.

Oh, Like, I in my mind as I watched it,
I was like, damn, how many times did they have
takes on this? Probably at least twenty or more because
it was just that difficult of a scene or a
dance routine to do. Yeah, and just you know, changes
your mind about who you perceived to be evil or
really the stories that we've heard through time and how

they may not be true or it may not be
exactly what we were told, and there is another side
to the story, and that's exactly what Wicked is, right.

I mean, it makes sense, man, you know what I mean.

I mean, they did a wonderful job on Broadway, and
it's been such a huge play. It only makes sense
that they would bring it to the to the you know,
to the screen. But I'll tell you this much, they didn't.
They didn't miss it. The Blox Office hit for about
one hundred and seventeen million dollars for that opening five days,
you know, and Gladiady did pretty good too, they pulled
in about forty four million. But the big winner absolutely

was Mawana two hundred and twenty one million dollars just domestically, just.

Wow, So imagine what that what that Boss office was
looking like internationally.

Yeah, Disney hit on this one and they needed to win,

Actually, the day before Thanksgiving, his wife actually had surgery

Piedmont High school kids who it was all over the news.
I mean it was what three am Thanksgiving morning. They
were in a cyber truck. I guess they don't really
know how the story went. Could have been speeding involved,

a number of things, but they still don't know obviously,
because the cyber truck immediately burst into flames and only
one kid I believe his name was Jordan's survived because
there was a car of kids coming from the same
function behind him, or one dude at least that was
actually able to pull him out of the back. But

crushed between the tree and that divider wall. So can
you imagine like waking up the you know, shoot, they
probably didn't sleep and there was Thanksgiving canceled, Like how
could you even move forward? You got some freshman college
freshmen that didn't even make it home that morning to
celebrate with their family. So that was really sad.

got home a little early from Fresno on Friday, and

But I was just really disappointed on the storyline, the

filmography of it, the cinemography of it, how they shot it,
and I didn't see the purpose and having Denzel Washington
in it aside from star power, right, because everybody was keeked.

Day in this movie because it just looked like he

mood to just take in the film. Yeah, in the middle,

of them are full songs. Some of them are like
they sing one line and then it's over and they
start back into acting or whatever.

then at the end when it starts to get action packed,
the singing slows down until the very end. And I
will tell you there's going to be a part two. Okay,

obviously this is film level, so the props and everything

are bigger and better and it's not live, so they
take their time to get it right.

you know, and Gladiady did pretty good too, they pulled
in about forty four million. But the big winner absolutely
