Speaker 1 (00:00):
You chapped it, so we're playing it. It's the podcast
after part.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Duh.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
One of the things I hate. It's a good way
to start a podcast out straight in well. They say
that negative stuff on the internet gets more reaction than
positive story. But I don't mean to be negative. One
of the things I hate is online shopping. Why okay,
it was on part boomart, but also because I just
hate it. I like going into shops and getting my things.
I never trust it. I hate the idea of having

(00:34):
to send something back. That's the most annoying Edmond on
the planet to me.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
It is a very annoying piece of admin.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
So today I was in a store and I bought
some shorts and they only had one. You get a
Roses chocolate while I tell my boring story. I bought
a pair of shorts in the store. Am I wasting
this on the podcast? This is the last week of
the year.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Is this the juice for the show?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
We're here now, I'm trance, keep going. I'm almost on
a pair of shorts. They weren't cheap. How much one
hundred and fifty dollars?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
We're from superrit Oh? What brand?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Oh? Ralph Lauren.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Rend Flora around.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I'll tell you the money. I'll tell you why I
spent the money, because every summer, at the beginning of summer,
I've gone, I need a pair of shorts, and I've
gone into the store and I've found the right shorts
and they're so expensive, and I go, no, I'll find cheaper.
I'll find cheaper, and then I never do, and then
it gets to like the last month of summer, and
then I go and get some ship pair of shorts
and I've wasted the whole summer. So this year I went,

(01:49):
fuck it. I've found the shorts just by them, So
I bought them. And I'm like, you, Bree, You're like me.
Once you find it item of clothing that's gone every color,
I go, how can I get this in every color?
That's what I've done with these T shirts. That's what
I'm doing with these pants that I'm wearing, and that's
what I've chosen to do with these shorts too. So
I ordered them, bought them. They're getting shipped to my
house one hundred and fifty dollars. I'm just trying to

(02:11):
find them and then I just trying to them. I
get free shipping for that price anyway you'd hope. So
the point of my story is after I left the store,
I went into can I find more of these shorts?

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Mode?

Speaker 3 (02:23):
And I looked for them online. I found them online
for half the price. No from the Iconic. Oh that's
so annoying, and I'm not here to support the Iconic.
But no business in the Iconic. But I was like,
oh im, gut it. I mean, I don't have to come.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Back to the expensive ones though.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
By the one I have. Take them back?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Have you worn them?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Take them back? Content? Yes, you absolutely take them back
and say they were a gift. They were a Christmas gift.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I but them for myself on my cretit card. They
don't know that you don't have to give I put
them on my critic card.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
You lie, You don't have to give them a reason
at all. You lie. The people at the shop don't
know that. You take them back then and you say
same price. Hi, Sorry, these were a gift.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Will they give me my money back or do they
give me do I spind it in the shop?

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Let me let me well? I mean, if they give
you credit in the shop. Then you can buy something
else that you like and then go buy, like Claudia said,
two pairs. This is really a foreign concept.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Let me jes as, I don't online shop.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Let me just see their policy on their website. Games
don't return things you commit.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
That's why I agonize over my purchases so much, because
the idea of returning them isn't in my brain. It's
like it's final.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I live my life so free that I might if
I change my mind, I can give it back.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
So non committal, I think you can return it. Okay,
course you can.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Okay, yeah, I think you can just go back and
and okay, guys, this is good.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
When am I going to have time to get back.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Into the store. Of course?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
By the ones from the Iconic, now I've done it.
I bought them too.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
What kind are they? I want to see what the shorts?
They are? None of your goddamn because they were more
than one undred fifty.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
They weren't, Wow, one hundred and fifty and the ones
on the Iconic was seventy eighth. Yeah, exact same.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Okay, here we go, hold on, I've just found.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
The return arguably a bitter size.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
It says here's a quick checklist for easy returns. Just
make the short. Just make sure the answer is yes
to all of these. Was the item purchase within twenty
one days?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Okay. Is the item in new condition and has tags
or packaging attached?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Is it a sale item?

Speaker 3 (04:49):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Not underwear, swimwear, or a consumable.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
They are arguably a swimwear.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Because they've got I think they're meaning like dick togs
or like bikinis, you know.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Stuff where it's like, well, they're in the packet.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Still, yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Show to my house right now.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Items purchased on promotion can be returned for a credit
note or exchange only. Okay, so that's like, you know,
that's fine. Items discounted by fifty percent or more from
the original No. Please note that the return shipping costs
are the responsibility of the customer. That doesn't apply to you. Oh,
just pop into any store with your name, order number,

(05:30):
an item to return, and our team will take care
of the rest. There you go, Thanks, Brey, You're welcome. Oh,
thanks Bri.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
You didn't look up the returns policy for me, but just.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Put the idea on the table. But did you, I
feel like it was me. Yeah, it was Bret. It
was all Bree the team.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
If I'd like to return my things, we double teamed
Clint so I can.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Get Yeah, you're right, you should. You should just return them,
should get double I can't believe. I can't believe that
thought didn't even enter his brain. You said you don't
like returning things, that's why you still return them.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Yeah, I don't return thinks that's what I should have said.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
What if something whats what if it makes you feel like.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
For the next two years and then put it on
trade me?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, like, what if this happens?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
What I just commit? This is just me. I was
looking for a solution I was. This podcast wasn't solutions focused.
This was an event about how much I hate online show.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
That's what we do, Claude, we're fixes. Just fix it, guys.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
You know to your stream.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Down my face nor Melody down my Face down. My
first with arms Water up on.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Other podcast that Cordia has put out, as with James Cameron,
and it's just it's just the James Cameron interview. But
he was very good. It's very interesting. I wish I'd
told him my story about my friend who picked up
his son hitchhiking his steps.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
On Why are you telling that story?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
I fucking opened with it before the cameras are rolling,
and I was like, Oh, he won't be into this.
He was into it, and then the camera started rolling.
Then I got nervous and it defaulted to my stupid question.
He oh, that'll be jasper, and I was like.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, what the fuck? Oh isn't it funny? Like those
things are so difficult though, when you get in there
and you kind of just roll with a lot of
the time, I'll walk out or something like that and
I'll be like, I have no idea what I just did.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
I saw Louis Davis because he did some stuff down
there too. Yeah, and we know this. I know this,
but he just reiterated it. He goes, all I'm looking
for is a human moment, because I don't give a
shit about the movie. I'm just looking for a human moment.
He's so right.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah, It's like when you and I have done these
other junkets.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Before, none of the questions about the show go anywhere.
Nah nah.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
We always go what can we are? Or you know,
what's something that's interesting that will show that human moment?

Speaker 3 (08:04):
But it's hard to get that without looking gimmicky.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, but I mean I think it's all about and
the way you and I structure it is if you
build the rapport first and then you do it right
at the end.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
As I left the interview, though, I mean, it doesn't help.
But as I left the interview, James Cameron did say
to the guys doing the interviews, there was a great interview.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
And I was like, my guess, we'll never know was
it on camera.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
But you could tell us that I'm a trustworthy person.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
I don't even return my clothing items.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
It's so crazy. On the weekend, after I saw Lady Gaga,
she picked me out from the crowd and she was
like you come backstage and I sat backstage with her
and she was like, you are the most beautiful human
I've seen all tour.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
It's awesome. I'm so happy for you.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Thanks. That was before you kissed her, right yeah, and
then we and then we made out.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
James and I did that, did you?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah? Right?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Good?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Good weekend for both of them.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Seen in Avatar when they stick their their little antenna
things together doing their tails.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
We did that.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Nice, nice, And that's when James Cameron took out a
navy o on Clint's Can I Go on the next
jun Kit? They sound fun?

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Said, can I go? Can I go? See you guys tomorrow?
I guess whatever.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Yeah, yeah, we'll do four more shows to go.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Thank god, plus those sixteen podcasts.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Claudia, I'm sorry, Sorry, guys, my phone's ringing. Yeah, Hello?
Is that Lady Gaga? But you'd call it Stephanie?

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Is that James? Oh my god? And we still docked? Sorry?
