Speaker 1 (00:00):
The ZiT M podcast Network.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hey everybody, welcome to the Bran Clint Podcast. No, it's
the after party. I've got to get that right.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yeah, after party. This is not a point after party podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
It's an after party. Yeah, after party, after party. It
happens after that.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
God, nothing better can I say than spontaneous after party, A.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Good spontaneous after party. Yeah, I've just got up into
some bad after party, have you?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Makes it bad?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Just like a bunch of people standing in the kitchen
and the vibe is slowly going down and down, but
everyone's trying to recapture the vibe from earlier that you
have to. You're just chasing the dragon of trying to
get back to the good. But that's why. And I
agree with you. Good after party, great, nothing better with
the right people. But I think there's a real knack
to spotting when the night has peaked. You gotta go

(00:57):
when it's and if it has peaked, get the fuck out. Yeah,
even if that's like midnight, it's usually peaked. Get out.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Usually when people are peaking.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
And it's an hour after that, Oh yeah, yeah, you
want to get out, get it, get out while you
can go out on the crest of the wave, and
then you're left with a you know, a good feeling
about the.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Night, which is incrementally harder to do with every drink
that you have. It gets harder and harder to spot
the peak of the night every every drink that you have.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Here's a question I have for the whole group. Can
you name a night out you had recently that was
fucking phenomenal and just super fun, like you know the
night I'm talking about that fearing where you're like, shit,
that was.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
A good night.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
On the age, I know this is boring, but on
the age where the hangovers are brutal but also parenting,
is do you talk about that? I know? So there
there's a reason for it. So I in the back
of my mind am always weighing up the next day.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Oh, don't put that ship onto us.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I know, I know. I'm always waiting up the next
day when I'm when I'm about to let go and
actually have that good night. So so it's they get
fewer and fewer, but I reckon. The last one was
probably the Radio Awards. I had a really good night
for the Radio Award. Me and you stuck around at
the after party and we don't.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Have a pretty good night for the radio.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
We probably pushed the boat to about one thirty in
the morning. Yeah, I was. I was enough to know
when to pull the pin.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
God, I was talking some ship that night.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Everybody was talking some ship. Someone someone who worked here
was crying to me about the plotline of the movie Cars.
That's right about how unfair the movie Cars.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, we tried to stay away from her.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah. And you know what, even though we did a
one thirty I reckon, we got out on the peak.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah, it peaked. You got out on the peak.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
I went and hit the cast and lost fifty bucks
at the cast.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
And I should have left when you left.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, So that's mine. What's yours? If you can't remember one,
you can't remember one, and I can't remember one.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Can you guys?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Remember I feel like my birthday last year?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Oh, it was such a good night.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
It was really good.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
That was a good night. I was there because all
my people were there. I got silly.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Cordias stitched me up. She put her birthday party, your
thirtieth birthday party on my date night that I had
booked him for ages.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
What what are you going to go on a date thirty?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I had a babysitter and tickets to Chris Parker.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
No, you can see Chris Parker anything.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
You can see Chris Parker anytime. I love Chris Parker,
fantastic show. But he's coming back.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Was he's always going to be. I wouldn't do it
to Claudia now.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
No, But guys, it was a perfect night. I wouldn't
have changed anything.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I had such a good time.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Same.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
I was just pumping Claudia full of liquor. Was I
hate Claia or another drink?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
By the way, Ala, by the way, Ala. This is
the goal and too much pressure, but this is the
goal for your wedding night. The most, the most.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Can't say it'll it'll jinx it.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
That's what anybody wants.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
I'm so curious about that because half of the people going,
you know, don't drink, and then half the people you know,
But I still I wanted good vibe.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Recond I'm going to unjinx it and say really really
planned stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, it's never it's never good.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
I just I'll pot a music on't the drinks will
be there?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
You do you not saying it won't be good, but
you know what I'm talking about? How like super planned
out things.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
My wedding was the greatest night in my life. It was,
it was, it was the perfect part.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Did you give me some tips you had, mister Whippy.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
There on the heck there was ice creams. That's my favorite.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
The next one. Okay, I'll give you my one piece
of advice, Ella, just have one or two champagnes until
the speeches, so so you everybody else will be drinking, drinking, drinking.
You just sit on a glass of champagne until the speeches,
because then you can launch.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Here's here's my advice. Put the speeches early in the night.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
It sucks when at a wedding, like especially if you're
doing a speech, like it's way way down Like when
I am seed my brother's wedding at the end of
last year.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
I just ripped through them.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
I was like, nah, we'll get all this done and
then everyone can just relax and have fun.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Absolutely, yeah, and don't have too many.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
No, I'm not how much time have you allocated us through?
What do you mean for the speech?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Speech for speech?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
We've got a PowerPoint.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
None we were going to do like.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Trio.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, true, okay, ready, ready, you earn one. Do you
guys hit this note?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Harmonize did the same? No, what's that from the Simpsons?
Bye My Soning Island Baby, Baby, Coney Island Baby, Bye.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
My Coney Island Baby.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Goodbye forever to you. I've lived in an I have,
I have once? I did once? Have you done with
Cory Gonzalescure?

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Oh yeah, sounds like Cory.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
I think it's the old Corey.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Yeah, the new Corey has changed. Still fun though, it's
still fun.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
That's he's the guy from There's a random name drop,
but he's the guy from What We Do in the Shadows?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Yes, what are what have you guys ever done?

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Like nights when you've gone clubbing and you walk out
of the nightclub and it's daytime, haven't you.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Got I've gone after at daytime?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Really shout out, shout out to the valley in Brisbane.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
There was many.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Times where I walked out of a night club like
the Met still there. I believe this club and it's enormous.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
It's called the Met.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
And it's just all blacked out window so you can't tell.
It's just completely blacked out and like huge, like trance.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
And the times that I had seen the sun coming up.
I know I've fucked up.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
It's the worst. Can I just say, worst possible thing
you can ever do?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Worst thing, worst.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Thing you can ever do. I reckon it makes the
hangover twice as.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Bad, twice as long, twice as long.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Twice is bad.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
When the perfect time, the perfect time.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
To get out, in my opinion, is when you can
still get something to eat. Yes, So between I reckon
two and three.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Between one and two for me.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah see, I'm a little bit younger.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Why are we talking about this?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Hell, I'm talking about after parties.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Yeah see.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
And this is a complete podcast about fucking nothing.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
