are brewing mcafe, the perfect start to every day. Welcome
to a little bit of pod cast.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
A tiny little bit of podcast. Now, is this cheeky?
Is this cheeky?
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
You know, we've got new neighbors are renovating at the moment,
and their house is like vacant most of the time,
and they're not there.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
And these are the people that because they're not there,
they still put the bin out. You. I sometimes my
trash in their bump. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
And the old neighbors that used to live there, we
used to be very close to them, like we hang
out all the time. We became great friends and it
was very like.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Great, so great they had to live.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
And so on Friday night, we had some guests over
for some drinking poos and some dinner that never happened
and we when.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
You drank classic Haley and always forgets dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
We had plans to go out, but we're having too
much fun, and so I was like I all ended
up wanting a couple of pizzas. Anyway, So we I
was getting the house ready, given a good little judge
before they came over, and I had a vase that
was empty because my supermarket flowers that I bought for
myself had died. I'm fucking sick of waiting, so I'm
just buying myself flowers every week, okay, And I thought, oh,
(01:22):
damn it, like I'd love to get some something nice
and near. And I was like, I'll just go and
try and find something.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
And at the graveyard.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
No, there's no local graveyard where I live. Where do
they put the dead people by your house? We come
to so many ghosts. So I went looking around my garden.
But we've got zero flowers. We're green, We've got no
flowers anywhere, list of lines, lot of limes. I was like,
maybe I could make some sort of branch or like
(01:49):
orange sort of saying in the vase. And then I
peeped over the fence and I saw a myriad of
beautiful daffodils.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Oh, it's bulb season, last weekend of winter. Next weekend?
Was it this weekend? Because it's wow. Yeah, you go
by the mind than working out when the equinox.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
I saw a lot of daffodils at the weekend, so many,
and I love them and they smell so good. So
I saw these daffodils. And I thought, I'll just grab
appearances from the kitchen and I'll just walk onto their property,
threw down the back of their house and I'll cut
me some flowers. You'll be still. I'll help myself, I
(02:32):
think is a better term than steal. And I put
them in my vas and I just I was like,
they don't have cameras on. Also, if they caught me,
it's not like I'm doing anything completely dodgy.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
I just well, you are trespassing without mission. But I
feel like you don't want to get a restraining order
against your neighbors.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
We're neighbors. We're neighbors, So do you think that's fine?
And I just went and talking like a bunch.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
I talked quite a fitting the right nah, Because I
recently it was our friend's birthday and I said, I'm
gonna pack Jannah, our friend, I'm gonna pick some daffodils.
And Shadow was like, oh my god, let's just buy
our flowers. I'm like, no, it means so much more
to give some flowers because I've taken the beauty from
my house. I've sacrificed the beauty. I've given the beauty
to somebody.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Else the beautiful gardens and when they come over to
my house with flowers that they've a little riven around
and they picked themselves, and that's amazing, so much more.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Right, I don't mean anything to you apart from this
free gift.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, well, freebie couldn't even be fifteen dollars and sacrifice
the beauty of my house to bring it to yours.
So you in picking Janna flowers from your garden, Yeah,
that's absolutely fine. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Well I
I sort of did the same, but my garden temporarily
extended to the neighbors who we don't really know is garden. Right,
they're walked into the property because no one was home,
and I thought it was fine.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Have you thought about while they were innovating, putting a
gate between your house and their house at the back
where they just won't see it until wonder they seat,
And then you said, that's been there forever. Well, because
we were going to pick in the back and raid there.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Because they got good fruit trees, good flowers, we were
gonna put in a gate. It was our when our
friends were living there, and then they moved and so
the gate never happened. You can put in the gate
that fence has got to go.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah, a little secret gate, one of those things and
look like a gate. Yeah, fruit and flowers gate.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Fruit and flower gate.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, okay, I'll do that. Hopefully they won't notice.
