Christmas with me and Aaron at our fuddy and then
my mom goes fun, I can't get the cat into
the cattery. I just didn't even think about it, she said,
we just can't. And they don't have a cat door
in the house, so you know, they can't even just
get a feeder or something like that could just be

(00:57):
trapped inside.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
They can't do it. She was like, can you care? Kenny,

was like, what are we going to do. We'll just
treat with his cats.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Here it comes, what here it comes?

Speaker 4 (01:32):

Speaker 3 (01:38):
That cat's not gonna him for a week on his own.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
You just have a poor energy. He has actually become
very friendly over the years. He jumps up on people's
laps and stuff. You have a poor energy from when
it comes to cats. Yeah, I think you were cruel
to him. I think you might have been cruel to him.
My cameras fucking biscuits.

Speaker 1 (02:06):

Speaker 3 (02:09):

that wants to been Christmas.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
I'm getting a house sitter for a whole month. Yeah wait,
genius James. No, no, there's a website.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah yeah, you've had a non because everyone's away and
it's like Christmas.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
It's just an absolute mission and so handy. So it
took like a day. Someone was like, yes, I want free.
We're in for a month. How much is it.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
A friend of mine did this for like a couple
of years. She just bounced around professional house longer term ones.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Because you read the profile and they will have like
police like background jets and stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I mean, you've got to become a criminal. Sometimes it
might as well be way of that massive TV.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah, might as well.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
How much did they changed you? It was like six
hundred for a month. It's to twenty bucks a day, yeah,
which is pretty good. And it was a little bit
more because there are lots of stat holidays in there.
You have to play them a bit more. Yeah, because
it's I mean, I guess it's like eating better.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
It's so hard sitting on your couch drinking your and
the old wank paid twenty dollars a day to wank
now a day, that's dream job.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Ellen. How much?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
How much would you?

Speaker 4 (03:21):
I tell you what we've talked about my whopping mortgage.
If I was getting paid ten dollars a week and
I have that thing paid off you, Oh God, Jesus.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
In surplus the bank me money.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I could be a bank.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Oh God, getting that compound interest, Oh wow, Wow.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
That's such a good thing.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
When I first moved to Auckland and Aaron didn't live
here year and I stayed with it, that no no,
I signed up to do it, and then it just
felt all complicated.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Around how sitters dot co dot in the house sitting company? Yeah, free,
plang there you should charges should be refaced, get free
free at least ten percent, should have a discount code. Actually,
but our house inked in like you just You've just
got to trust someone else in your house, don't you.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
And our house having been freshly renovated, and some of
the bits are a bit complicated. Let the sinks, you know,
don't We don't put these things.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
And also the bench is like the softest timbernign don't
place anything on the bench.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
You don't lean on the bench or you shelled into it.
You know, the glass is there and can you just
so No, there's no way I'm getting that. So we
had to find a cattery or we were going to
spend Christmas alone. And my parents have been Christmas alone
and that just was really sad.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
What do you what are you going to do?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
So we just rang around.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
We I did catteries near us, and I just broadened
the search and we got wider and.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Wider from the house and now you're in what we
looked in a oh wow.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I'm talking which is pretty close to Hamilton.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah, I know, and we live north.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, anyway, so no, no, I ended up finding one
out west and a lovely place and managed to get
in like just on the dates, we're like, oh my god,
this is great booked too, man. And we were doing
this all in front of Rolly and you know, like
with a dog, you never say w A l K.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
You don't say walk or trick or anything. You gotta
spell it out because they know.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
It's like you never get out the cat carrier case
when you're taking him.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
They go, yeah, So Rolli hates the cattery, he absolutely
hates it. And that's the thing wrong. And Eron had
been like, we need to find a good place. I
was like, he'll hate it if it's like five thousand
dollars a day, you know. Anyway, So we did this
all in front of him on the phone, and I
felt like he was a little bit stroppy.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
He knew, he knew.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
So what I did is I pulled out a little cushion.
We were sitting outside and the sun was shining for
half an hour, so we were enjoying it. I put
it a little cushion and he was on it like
a little thing, and I read him a little bit
of the things that he has to look forward to.
I went on the Meadow Farm catterie website and I said,
listen to this, more like.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
You're telling your kids what they're going to get at dress.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I said, my darling, listen to this, you get excited.
Meadow Farm is a luxury catterory situated on a picturesque
lifestyle block just minutes away from Da Da Da Da
Da Semicimmune. All these things overlooks gardens, rolligh are you listeningly?
Overlooks gardens, paddocks where the cats will be able to
watch the farm animals, wild rabbits and birds from or
you love birds. Yeah, but I'm not telling him that. Yeh,

(06:24):
I'm selling him the picture of his holiday and the
dogs Kennel's rule. They go in, the dogs run around
mad and they sleep in the thing. But then they
get but cats you can't leave, and they never come back.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
It might have actually just been cheaper to pay to
wank at your house, and.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I would have been cheaper to pay any respects. What
I wonder Rollie was hissing at you batting that thing
about it.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
You're always going to shut the animals out when you haven't. Okay,
if you are thing of having a wank today, wank doesn't.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Go wankedin where for a premier wing? Really?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
