Speaker 1 (00:01):
The z M podcast network, Please would and Haley's little
bit of Pod treat yourself to mcafe coffee with my
Maca's rewards.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Welcome to a little bit of Pod. I have achieved
the unachievable.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
My daughters, we were tidy in the house and they said,
we want to have a clean out of our drawers
and get rid of the old clothes we don't wear.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I was like, cool, cool cleaning. It's cleaning up. That's good.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
So they had a big clean out and they had
a stuff in a box and I was like, oh I,
I've got some stuff I'll chuck. And we had two
big boxes with stuff. Nice.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I got a couple of those on the go.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Now, those generally will live right around in the boot
of the car for a while. Yep. I was going
to do a grocery pick up and I thought, I'm
just gonna put the boxes in the car.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
But in the chymney there is no boot.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
The boot is the back seat and the boxes were big,
so they took up the whole area. I literally couldn't
fit the groceries until I got rid of these boxes.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I tried good, you know, motivated motivates you get rid
of it. So I was driving around and I was like, Okay,
there used to be clothing. It's no clothingman's there the
ed to be clothing. No clothing there.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I start.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
I go onto the local community page and I search
clothing bins and people are like, we're in the nearest
clothing bins and one of somebody's like the closest I
can find is toll Bay. Now I don't live anywhere
near Tour Bay. No, that's like the other side of
the Google Maps. I searched clothing bins and here's one
who found one in East Tamakay. Now that's mas Away Mallsay.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Now I'm as sure there's clothing's all around the world.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Why don't you just go to a Salvation Army or
something that's.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Not a public holiday. Yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
They're not open and you can't dump it because then
if it rains and stuff gets wet and it's impossible.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
So those signs no dam.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
I was like, I drove past the Salvation Army out
with and I looked and I saw it had a
new cover outside.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I was like, is it cheeky?

Speaker 4 (01:42):
They're all good stuff, but if someone comes and throws
them around, or just what I pulled in on.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
A public holiday. They're open.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
I'm walking empty armed because I've taken some stuff to
some op shops lately and they're like, no.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Thank you, Yeah we're full because people like you dump
your shit there.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well that out bad clothes get tuned into rags for
the garage. So these were all good clothes, yeah, And.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
So I took them and I said, I've got some
stuff I'd love to donate, if that's right, And the
lady said, pop it all on the table. I said, oh,
you don't want to go through the you don't want
to go through the box and see if it's all good.
And she was like, you seem like a lovely young
man for a start. I was like, I like her
young man's that's hitting home.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
So she's so she's a bit.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Blind, yeah, stupid by comparison. And she takes this boxes
and she's like, thank you so much, lovely day.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
What did you ask for? All the clothing bins have
gone so my gurgling it's just because people would put
rubbish in there.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Yeah, literal bags of rubbish in there to get rid
of rubbish.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
It was too expensive.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
They got rid of a couple by mine and I
only found out when I walked with two giant bags,
Oh God, around the block and I get there and
I'm like, we are the clothing beans. They were like,
literally needs to be three or four in a row.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Because there's so much easier. I hate it when I
bring it, like I've brought stuff and you know, me,
fashions my passion. I've got cooks close to give and
I always bring them in and they'll be like, oh,
what have you got And.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Then they'll be like take it, take it, take very.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Lovely old Christian lady. Yeah, there's a little bit homophobic.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, yeah, she looks at me, she's like you, yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
See the devil's tongue in the mouth, and they're like,
what have you got? You fucking take it, fucking take it.
But yeah, So I got rid of it on the
day and left the drawers and went into the bar.
It also got donated. That just doesn't happen. I reckon.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I'm about to hit the one year mark with the
current load in my in the back of my car.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
But they're good pieces, so I want to take them.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
To one of those slightly elevated design a reseller, right.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
So they resell it on your behalf and you get
a kick.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
At fifty Yeah right, but again yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Just even though you'd make money, you haven't been motive
or what because you're shy bringing in my clothes and be.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Like please, gouldn't know for your shop? Please?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh yeah? Because then if they deny you and fashions
your passion and they're like scan, we.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Don't want your skankiest lows. That's so inter fashion would
never be able to sell that.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
I'll be like, oh, oh, embarrassing
