Speaker 4 (00:29):

the meeting, and I was like, oh, you're in trouble, and.

You know what, fair enough, it's not great.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
But I.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Was like, right, you know, I need a plan because
when I'm tired, the phone has let me down multiple times.
You know, this is not the first time this has
happened to me. And so I thought I need an
alarm clock. And then I was like, it's time. It
is time. So I went to the electronics store. Yeah,
and I purchased me my first ALIXA. Oh wow, okay,
(01:00):
I got the alarm clock one with the screen. It's
a bit fancy. I went sort of fancy with it,
and I got an Alixa can't fucking figure the thing
out all because I'm I'm Apple. So I kept saying, hey, Alixa.
Apparently don't need to say hey, no to say Alexa. Well,
but I know confused, I'm not going to say it
because she's listening right now.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
And Apple do these they've got home pods?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
They yeah, they do. But I didn't do that. I
just everyone's into Alixa. So I got an Alixa, and
then I was trying to set up a really cool
morning routine for her to wake me up. And oh no,
by the way, that I changed gender immediately because I
realized you could change the Irish male. No, I went,
(01:43):
I went, I went male Australian. But I doubled the speed.
You don't, Daddy goes like.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
You've got to have Irish series A good one.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Irish Alixa, it's Indian, British Australia.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
An accent over Australian.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
We'll got a bit of a thing for the Aussie
accent at the moment. So yeah, and anyway, so he
talks really fast like this, but he's got a little
bit of Australian accent like that. So I set him
up and then I was like trying to get this
cool morning routine where I wanted it to do something crazy.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Like you can get it to turn light song right, yeah,
if you've got the smart, if you've got smart.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
And then I wanted him to tell me the weather. Yeah,
so do like a lot. It's thirty eight degrees in
Auckland this morning.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
It's mine keeps pronouncing CMU where I live. Is come
you today and come you? Yeah thirteen degrees right, Oh,
don't say it like that, Yeah, come you.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
It is really need some today lessons, yeah, it does.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
But then and then I wanted it to start playing
music yep, and I set it up to play Queen
in the mornings and then the small day. No, I know,
because I'll start to hate my favorite band.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
But then in this morning it woke me up with
the weirdest boys and then did none of the other stuff.
So I've obviously like screwed it up.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
I think you've got to You've got to do a
test in the afternoon while you're there, to be like
wake me up at like two pm and just wait
for it to happen.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yes, because you say a routine, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I don't know how it works, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I got it to tell the current time and then
play Queen radio, but it didn't do any of that really,
so so probably won't wake up tomorrow on a great start. No,
but I did love practicing whispering to it.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Oh, it's the best, Alex, what's the time? It's four
fifteen year little bitch.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Oh, because I didn't know that you whisper its back
in the middle of the night. You'd be like, hey,
what's the time, because you think it's nearly time for
work and it is two forty four and all your
neighbors that is like y.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
And my one second to her because I'll say, Alexa,
play brown noise, yeah, and it'll go. But then it'll
go flashing these lights and I have to say, hey, Alexa,
no lights.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I did that last night, tried out there because I
was like, this is what vauneda. So I said, hey, Alex,
to play brown noise. But it was not the kind
of brown noise I like. My brown noise swells up
and down. This one was just like anyway, TBC. I
will figure it out, and mark my words, I shall
never sleep and again, shut up.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I'm not saying anything
