It's Lovak and Guz on the Voiceof the Capitol Regions Sports Fan Fox Sports
ninety five nine and nine eighty.Yeah, this is the lovakan Gus Show

(00:23):
on Fox Sports nine eighty ninety fivepoint nine FM. Yeah, your ears
are not deceiving you. This isn'tLavak and Gozz. This is Zach Squared
Baby, Zach Baby, whatever youare. Oh, okay, baby,
whatever you are. If we gotto the last segment, I'm done with
you for today, as the othertwo normally are as well. Yeah.

(00:45):
Just like Levac often wants to killGodz, I want to kill you.
You know who else is killing it? Netflix is killing it. Fourth of
July weekend. By the way,I hope everybody's enjoying their short weekend,
short week work week. I havethirst Friday off. Hopefully you do too.
The most important event of the fourthof July weekend has to be the

(01:07):
Nathan's hot Dog eating contest. Right. Yeah, was ruined this year.
Ruined this year. I understand whybecause sponsors and money and this and that.
So Joey Chestnut is no longer affiliatedwith Nathan's brand hot Dogs, so
he cannot compete in the Nathan's hotdog eating contest, which in itself is

(01:29):
a disappointment, but Netflix never seemsto let us down. Netflix and chill.
I advise you not to chill whenwatching this Netflix special unless you want
to gobble down some glizzies. Ohgosh, so much there to im backed

(01:49):
so much. I do think abit more than it being just a disappointment,
it's it's a disservice. I mean, Joey Chestnut redefined what the hot
dog eating competition meant. I mean, Kobo Yashi was a guy who has
set that standard when he first participatedinto it, and then Joey Chestnut came

(02:12):
on this scene, and suddenly wehad two mythical legends who were duking it
out year after year. Who's swallowingmore seventy two to ten minutes last year?
Joey Chestna's the best, ain't noone like it. His dominance was
compared to that of Michael Jordan andKobe Bryant in their respective sports. And
I think that if you have thebest of something and you're going to just

(02:38):
take him away from it because andhere's the thing that annoys me is the
fact of that deal was a wholething where he just had a food deal
and that brand of food had nowstarted making hot dogs, and Nathan said,
oh no, that's an issue now. The fact that we're trying to
get through this conversation about guzzling downLizzies and it's very difficult, very difficult.

(03:06):
But two legends, two legends ofLizzie gobbling. And the fact that
Nathan's is robbing us of Joey Chestnutthis year, shame on them. But
Netflix, Netflix, All the propsgo tos to Netflix. They made Quarterbacks,

(03:29):
which is a TV show. Theyare going off of Quarterbacks to make
a series called Receiver, which premiereslater this year, and they will be
following the twenty twenty three NFL seasonof DeVante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George
Kittle, Deebo, Samuel Ama,Ros Saint Brown. The I don't know

(03:52):
if you had the pleasure of watchingit, The Brady Roast, Oh Brady
Roast is so good, hilarious. Now, if you're big political person,
I would advise not really watching it. But if you understand comedy and you're
in it for the humor, Ihighly advise you watch The Brady Roast and
take it for what it is.Pure comedy. That's it now September second,

(04:21):
a live event like the Brady Roaston Netflix. Lizzie Gobbling, I
am stoked. This is two legendsgoing toe to toe, blow for blow,
who can eat more? Blow forblow? Who can eat more?

(04:47):
Joey Chestnut. I'm not even gonnasay this guy's first name. We all
know him. It's Koby as Kobyashiin a ultimate Wiener takes All competition.
That winner Wiener takes All competition. That is probably the greatest description that Netflix

(05:15):
has ever wrote. Mm hmm,Wiener takes All a play on words with
the hot dogs. You're in acompetition. You already know. Some intern
was sitting there going, oh,I killed this. By the way,
thankfully I'm working the board because youknow, I haven't had to hit the
dump button on ourselves. But youknow, Lizzie Goblin, it was close.
Oh of course, it's always close. I mean, it's all.

(05:42):
He's a weird topic to get into, especially in a sports round way,
but it is considered a sport.Professional eating is considered one, and this
is going to be two premier athletesin this sport going to totel and that's
not something to like, go overnot acknowledge one other thing I do want
to acknowledge with Netflix. On topof all these other you know, big

(06:02):
sports shows and content that they're bringingto the platform, they're also roping in
WWE. You know, their parentcompany TKO which does the UFC, works
with ESPN. Yep, they strucka deal with them to bring Monday Night
Raw and all the future ww payper views to Netflix, which I know

(06:23):
some people in the sports world arelike, well, I mean it's not
real sport, it's this professional entertainment. Yes, that professional entertainment company had
a sold out ram Stadium last year. They had a sold out Eagle Stadium
this year. Yep. They candraw crowds in the amount of traffic that

(06:44):
this is going to generate for Netflix. By grabbing this from Peacock, by
grabbing it from USA, by grabbingit from Channel Networks. First off,
their first promise was to make ituncensored. That's a win in my This
is a new age of content andstreaming for Netflix to get into this sphere

(07:05):
and get into this whole you know, sports and entertainment sphere and kind of
be able to capitalize on that ina way that really no one else has
been able to. Is huge forthem right now. You know, I'm
not a big wrestling fan, butwhen it comes to wrestling, I liken

(07:25):
it to hockey. There are dieheart fans that will let you know you
either gotta be all in or yougotta be all out. You cannot tiptoe
your way into my sport. Nope. And those diehard fans show up more

(07:47):
than any other fan that I know, absolutely, so I give them all
the props. One last thing Iwant to talk to you about before I
let you go until tomorrow. Wedo have to see with each other tomorrow,
but rerun as much as you don'twant to with me, do I
have to? Oh man, youmight be buried in the back with gods

(08:07):
later. Oh boy. I knowyou guys are probably all sick of the
Kelsey brothers, but I came acrossan interesting topic in my own confused mind.
First pair of brothers to ever playeach other in the Super Bowl?

(08:28):
Right? M h that's movie worthy, Right, that's like a headline.
Maybe maybe a Hallmark movie, maybea movie theater movie. Who knows who
would play the Kelsey brothers in abiopic about their life works? Oh?

(08:52):
I see, I really thought youwere going somewhere because with that, because
the Kansas City the Kansas City Chiefsjust said that they're doing a Hallmark movie
now that they're gonna be a partof. And the fact of you know,
I've been going out with Taylor Swift. Now where I thought you were
going with this? Oh God,who would play? Oh? My mind

(09:13):
works on mysterious Witts. I'm tryingto think who's playing. I think Travis,
you've got to go with like likea Henry Cavill like something. It's
gonna be. You're gonna get someonehuge for that, like just tall.
I'm trying to think of. LikeI'm trying to think of, like you
gotta get like an ax Tar forthat one. I don't know who you
get for Jason. Jason probably wantsto play Jason probably. Now I'm gonna

(09:35):
throw two names out there that Ithought were hilarious. Channing Tatum for Travis
Kelsey because I feel like that fits, that fits, that fits the macho,
boneheaded type of player, party hardChanning Tatum the weirdo in me and

(09:56):
my identical twin brother Jason because weboth got big beards. Zach Calfanakis.
Oh boy, I mean I loveit. I love the pick. I'm
sure he would too, having himsay that, Hey, by the way,

(10:18):
you're gonna be doing a movie ona professional football player. I think
Zach Galafanagus would be looking down ata script and then just look up and
go, who, I gotta playthe football part. So I gotta do
the football part or just the podcastpart. I can do that. So
we're gonna leave you with that foodof thought. If you want to reach

(10:39):
out to us and tell us whatguys you would think would play these guys
in a biopick, go ahead onTwitter at WFX nine eighty. Make sure
you follow us on Facebook as well, Fox Sports nine eighty reach out.
There. Never too early to bethinking about biopicks, right never. You

(11:01):
always have to know, and youknow that a movie will get made about
these two eventually. It's never tooearly to tweet tease tomorrow's show. Tweeze.
It may be a little tweezing. No, we gotta have to tweet
because're gonna have to pull this outdefinitely, so tomorrow we will be talking
a lot more football. Never tooearly to talk football, eh, I

(11:22):
don't know. Where the Italian accentcame from. But I'll make sure I
leave it at home for tomorrow
