Speaker 1 (00:01):
Let's rip open up fresh, helping the rub Devils show
back on the Robtals show at Bendor on your afternoon drive.
For Captain on the ones and twos, let's bring him
in on the hotline. Brandon Lang Brandlang dot com one

(00:25):
of the best handicappers and money management people out there. Brandon,
this is a tough subject to start with, but let's
start with the NBA organized crime arrests. Is there anything
you can add to this story.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
My business manager playing a few of those games, and
he hosts the game in Vegas Tuesday and Friday nights,
Big money, real big money, and he told me that
these machines are ridiculous, And I said to him, I said,
almost gonna get busted. And it's amazing to me it
took this long. What people need to understand is everything

(01:01):
was fine and dandy until the mob came to Chauncey.
When the mob heard about this machine and heard about
this cheating, they wanted in. And when the mob wants
in on something, you ain't gonna say no. That's just
the fact they're gonna get in, whether you want to
help them or not. Now, if they're gonna get in

(01:24):
and cut you a piece, Well, you go want some
of that. And what happened was is that when the
mob got involved, the FBI always has the mob under surveillance,
and once they found out the money the mob was
making and where the money was going, the FAD moved
in and said Okay, enough's enough. And that's how it
got traced back to the origin because of the mob

(01:49):
and the FBI completely uncovering it by chance, just because
they were on the mob to begin with. That's the
way it related to me. That's where we're at. I
think it's going to come down to who Chauncey wants
to bring along with him to save as you know what.
But this is just the first domino falling. I went
on Stephen A Smith radio show and gambling first became

(02:11):
legal in a few states, and he asked me what
do you think, and I said, this is bad. This
is really bad because Dibbs, you know this personage leave speaking.
Pro athletes are greedy for one thing and one thing
only money. They love money and if they think they

(02:33):
can get some free money somewhere, they're going to do it.
Pigs get fed, hogs gets slaughtered, and so when they
were sniffing free money. They're going to go after the
free money, and now a free money's got them caught.
And there's a lot more people involved, not only at
the collegiate level with this plot, bets and all that,
but also at the professional level. And Chauncey is just

(02:53):
the first domino. I'm anxious to set back and watch.
What I said was going to happen was how many
people with betters and bookies and off the radar sportsbooks
and offshore sports books. When the NFL made their bed
with FanDuel and DraftKings, they made a deal with the devil.
And guess what. The devil always calls in his markers,

(03:15):
and the markers are being called in now.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
