Speaker 1 (00:00):
Seven ninety mornings here Sports Talk seven to ninety. Damn Matthews,
Chris Gordy hanging out with you. Rockets preseason winners last
night one forty one twenty seven over the Jazz the
baseball postseason Tigers keep their season going. Game five coming
up tomorrow night. Blue Jays send the Yankees home. Cubs
and Phillies still playing in the National League side of things.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
But time now we do it.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Every single week. We bring on our good buddy Chuck
Gettle here for his weekly selection. And if you want
all of Chuck's plays, give them a call right now,
one eight hundred and eight oh eight thirty four eighty one.
That's one eight hundred and eighth eight thirty four eighty one,
Or head on over to chuckwins dot com and that

(00:45):
is where you can find all his great work. Chuck
the game last week pretty much the way that you
had expected. It's just the vikings, those pesky vikings, just
late in the game, those damn bad beats man coming
through breaking up your win streak. But it's now time
to get a new streak and a new winner for
this week.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
What do we got, Yes, sir, yeah, you know that
was a little bit of a bad break. Cleveland did
have a chance to put the game away on offense,
they got a look conservative and Minnesota got him in
the end, and that's that's part of the game. Those
things happened. But you know, before I get to the
game here for this week, I just want to let
your listeners know I do have a huge play going
on here this evening. So if you want to start

(01:26):
off your your week here with the winner here, just
called the one eight hundred eight zero eight three four
eight one one eight hundred eight zero eight three four
eight one, or simply just go to Chuck wins dot
com and getting the plays right there. But the game
that we're going to look at here tonight, you know,
early in the season, there was a lot of talk.
You know, I heard a lot of the media, a

(01:47):
lot of talk about how the Kansas City is done
and their offense is done, and you know, people neglect
to see what actually was happening in Kansas City was
very shorthanded at the wide receiver position. Worthy with out,
Rice was out. Rice is still out. However, Worthy has
come back to the last two games, and since those
he's been back for two games Kansas City's offense is

(02:10):
averaging thirty two point five points a game. In those games,
Worthy had seventeen receptions, and he's also opening up the
game for all the other receivers. I mean, and if
you remember, remember when Reed bump Kelsey on the sidelines,
and I think he woke him up because he's been
playing much better since then. He's had thirteen receptions in
his last two games, playing much better. So a lot

(02:32):
of positive things going on. And just a reminder again
for the game tonight. If you want this game tonight
one eight hundred eight zero eight three four eight one
or go to Chuck wins dot com. But I am
I am looking at the Kansas City Chiefs in this game.
You know last weekend that lost to Jacksonville on Monday night,
Kansas City pretty much dominated the game as far as

(02:53):
the line of scrimmage went, they outgained him four hundred
and seventy six to three hundred and nineteen yards. Of course,
the fourteen point swinging on the when Kansas City was
going in to score the ninety nine yard interception return. Uh.
One of the keys in this game are going pointing
for Kansas City is the Detroit Lions secondary is completely
banged up. They're missing four of their five top starting cornerbacks,

(03:17):
and uh, they're gonna have their hands full with this
Kansas City. And Kansas City knows about it, obviously, and
they're going to be taking full advantage of that. And obviously,
on the other hand, you know, Kansas City's defense is
gonna have to step up. We know how good Detroit's
offense has been after the little slip up against Green
Bay Week one. Spagnola is able to put pressure on
the quarterback and that's how you get to golf. That's

(03:38):
how you rattle GoF And uh, I think at home,
which is one of the biggest home field advantages in
the NFL. I do like Kansas City here.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Again eight to thirty four eight eight thirty four eighty
one Chuck Wins dot Com Chuck ettell with us here
on seven ninety mornings. I know I mentioned a bad
beat earlier, Chuck, before we get you out of here today,
I want to know what was the opposite of that,
the win that you can always look back on and
you're like, I don't know how the hell I won

(04:08):
that play, but this happened, and I'm thankful that it did.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
You know. The funny thing you say about that is
and I think if most gamblers you talked to, we
always remember the bad beats, I don't. You know, you
don't remember the good beats, you know, as much as
those bad beats. And right now, you know, I doing
this for as long as I've been doing it. There
there obviously there's been plenty of good beats that you know.

(04:34):
I think early, you know, earlier in the season. If
you remember the few weeks back the Philadelphia blocking the
field goal of the Rams running that in for it.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I was on the opposite side of that shuck. It
did not go well for me. I was the one go.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Down, go down. That was sick. I mean, I felt
bad for the people who had the Rams there. And
you were on the right side of that game, I believe.
But it's crazy how things, you know, happened like that.
So that's why you know, never you know, that's why
you know you got to always do the money management.
Anything can happen in any single game. You just gotta
you gotta keep your money management correct.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
That and no loud clapping inside the books. We don't
like that guy. That guy annoys me.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Well, you know, usually when I'm sitting in the book
and they hear everybody cheering for one side, if I'm
on the other side, I'm feeling pretty good. That's how
it usually go.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
For sure, for sure again one eight hundred eight oh
eight thirty four eighty one. That's one eight hundred eight
oh eight three four eight one, Or head on over
to Chuck wins dot com. Chuckettele he joins us every
single week, Chuck, Hey, we appreciate it, man. Look forward
to hopefully doing this again next week and for many
of the other weeks here during the football seasons, both

(05:45):
college and.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Pro sounds good. Thanks, appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
All right, Appreciate it again, Chuckattelechuck wins dot com. One
eight hundred eight o eight to thirty four eighty one.
