Speaker 1 (00:11):
Who waiver claims.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Have to be made, and I've got trade proposals for
lying my way. My first round pig turned out to
be a big flop. I don't know which wide receiver
I need to drive, Doctor roto give me the news.
(00:42):
I really don't know what I should do. My quarnerback
keeps getting sacked. I've got a bad case, unfair deceived blues.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
With it is the fastest thirty minutes and major market
Radio to you, Doctor Rode with his and with us
today and then back with his next Wednesday before the
Turkey Day, Doctor Rodo, first fall, Good afternoon.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
Secondly, we were talking about this during the show today.
Are the Texans a must play defensively regardless of opponents?
Speaker 5 (01:16):
Yeah, the defense is great, which the offense was nearly
as good, but the defense is terrific. I mean, look,
the Bills have major issues. They don't I mean, Shakir
is probably a number two.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
In most teams. They don't have a number one.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
They can't stop the run, and they couldn't protect Josh Allen.
I know the Texans, you know, front seven is pretty
done good, but when you have those three issues, I mean,
Josh Allen is the great and James Cooker two great players,
but they're not going to the Super Bowl yet again.
And I thought the Texans looked really good last.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Night, all right, so let's go to that. So if
I knew the Texan the Bills runs defense was so bad,
my partner here, Ross, who I'm playing with in fantasy football,
went with Woody Marsh yesterday. Seventy four yards is good,
that's good for it REALNFL, but seven point four from
my running back is underwhelming, and fantasy perspective, it is.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
So what happens is is that, you know, touchdowns are everything.
So even if you're play in a PPR format or
a half point PPR, right, so you let's say it's
a full point PPR and Woody Marks goes for seventy
four yards and he catches one pass for ten yards,
it's not enough.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
It's not enough. You need that touchdown.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
So the problem with Woody Marx is he's not you know,
some games he scored touchdowns. Other games he's been stopped
in the one yard line what like eighteen times. It
feels like they run that same play in the one
yard line that doesn't work. So you know, certain guys
have value why does David Montgomery have value? He's not
better than Gibbs, but he finds the end zone. So
in fantasy, if you're trying to decide which player to start,
(02:43):
always lean if it's fifty to fifty with the guy
who you think is going to.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Score a right.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Game of the Week in the NFL is Indianapolis at
Kansas City.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
The Colts.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Daniel Jones looks human the last couple of weeks. How
does he do against a Kansas City defense? And who
we sit in and start in that game?
Speaker 5 (02:59):
Well, he looks human because the offensive line has not
been protecting him. Right, So when he has time, he's
pretty good. But he hasn't had any time to speak
of it, and I don't think the Chiefs are gonna
give him a lot of time. Look, you're gonna start
Jonathan Taylor, but this is not one of those Jonathan
Taylor generational weeks.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Right, He's not going for two hundred yards.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
He'll be solid. You know, it's definitely playable. I don't
really love Michael Pittman, I love Tyler Warren. I think
Alec Pierce is certainly in play. Josh Downs is in
play on the other side, where Shehee, Rice, Patrick, Mahomes,
Travis Kelcey stay far away from Chiefs running backs.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Checkos should be back.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
That's not necessarily a good thing, but I think Mahomes,
Rice and Kelsey are in play. I mean, this is
desperation now time for the Chiefs if they lose this one.
I was listening on the radio today, it's like twenty
nine percent chance to make the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, it is a convoluded mess in the AFC. All right,
a game that we wouldn't necessarily be overly concerned with.
But because the Texans won yesterday, can the Arizona Cardinals
put up enough points against Jacksonville defense to make things
interesting in Phoenix this week?
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Yeah? I mean, look, the Cardinals had and sensational for
fantasy managers, right because they've been falling behind by so
much that Brisset that that.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Team, this lineup empty.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
The team that won the DraftKings Millionaire maker last week
was Brisett, derch Wilson, and McBride with Christian McCaffrey.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
That's crazy, right, Ross is laughing, It's true.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
And then they had bejan and to Troy McMillan, I mean,
that's that's got your paid big that's fed families last week,
So do I think that happens this week?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Probably not.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
We still love McBride, we still like Michael Wilson. Trey
Benson's not back yet. We're hoping for next week for him,
for Hampton and for Bucky Irving. Hopefully all those guys
come back next week. On the other side, Etn, I've
been trying to see here.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I'm not sure. Give me one second. I want to
get this out. He's still questionable if.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
He doesn't go. I love Baseial Toutin. This kid looked
really good last week before he left with a nicle injury.
He's expected to play, So Jacoby my in play and
this and Tuton would absolutely be in play if atns out.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
This Tuton guy was Ross's lock of the week, by
the way, and fantasy football is stimulatle heads up on it.
He's not true, but I got my eye on some Tutin.
He's been wanting to say that all day long, Doctor Rodo.
I'm just telling you that right now, Hey, New England Cincinnati,
can we get every single human being that we have
on fantasy teams for these two teams to score touchdowns?
Because it feels like it could be a very high
scoring affair.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
It could be. It could be.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
So look we're playing Drake May right now. Treveon Henderson
owners I'm sorry, Remandra. Stevenson is back this week. My
son has Henderson. He's upset.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I'm upset for him. Look, Stevenson is going.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
To get at least a third of the touches, and
he's going to get the gold line touches. So Henderson's
going to have to score those eighteen yard touchdowns, which
he might be able to do against Cincinnati. They're that
bad hunter Henry.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
I mean, I don't know. I wouldn't make him a lock.
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Of the week, but he I mean, Cincinnati is dreadful
against opposing tight ends. He's in a good spot. So
is Stefan Diggs. On the other side, is Joe Burrow
gonna go?
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
I know that Chase Brown is a great play, and
I know that t Higgins is a great play, especially
Chase Brown.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
All right, let's get to some NFC action. No Jackson
dart for the Giants against Detroit. Am I scared about
playing too many Detroit guys because it could get up
to a twenty eight nothing lead, something big like that,
and they reserve guys for the second half golf.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Yes, Montgomery, yes, Gibbs, Yes, Sam Laporte is out for
the year. I don't think brock Ryder is doing anything.
So Saint Brown and Jamison Williams, Yes, yes, I think
they put up forty on the Giants.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I do.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
And look, could Jamis Winston do something crazy and throw
for two sixty and maybe a couple of touchdowns?
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (06:45):
And could Isaiah Hodgens get maybe eight for eighty maybe?
Speaker 1 (06:48):
But who cares? The Lions all in on the Lions
as well.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
All right, let's go to philadelfy Dallas real quick before
we get you at the calls right.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
So, well, basically what I was saying was DeVonta Smith
is in a really good spot this week because Dallas
rolls out a lot of his own. But Dallas's run
defense looked better last week, guys Williams and Kenny Clark.
So once again, I don't think this is a great
Saquon Barkley week. Hurts will have to play better if
they want to win. So maybe we finally get Hurts
to Brown. I know we're going to get Hurts to
(07:16):
DeVonta Smith.
