I'm getting ready for the game and then calling it.
I've got the game on my phone, but I can't
ultimately watch every intricate detail. I did watch expanded highlights
this morning, so I have a pretty good grasp of things.
But I did look at your timeline, Ross, so you've

got a firm grilled What was a game yesterday.

On the Texas not knowing the rules of football? How
many different rules did they break?

I mean, how many illegal formations? Three?

I don't know I've ever seen the sage right in
a college in one quarter. I don't know if I've

in college.

Yeah, But as somebody aptly pointed out on Twitter, if
that didn't work, what would be saying Nick Kayley's.

But like it almost got blown up in the backfield,
we would have all been screaming like what is the deal?
And the same thing with Sarkis and he did a

then I'm sitting there saying to myself, you know what,
if that didn't work, I'd be calling how calling him

Yeah, but a win is a win. I have also,
you know, it's been staring at these old misbooing people
at the Oxford Airport. I've also been staring at that
extra point by Cannie Fairbaird. I think it went in
where are we on that? But forgeting about your battle
at BIS, did it go interne to go out. I mean,
come on, what was the rule ruling if.

Somebody had the other end zone view and it looks
good from the other end zone view.

So I mean, I'm gonna be honest with you. Why

get enough of it now. I know it's going to

get the call, right, why can't that be reviewed? I

if I'm the NFL, first thing I'm doing is I'm
putting en zone cameras on both sides of the state.

extended NFL official highlights either, because I watched them too

I think we're gonna be on the road the whole time,
which I mean they'll be away from home sixteen days. Hmmm.

now for those of you who don't know what Matt

Awful Announcing with quotes from Aeron Andrews talking about if

gonna have to miss some holidays and so those were
regular in context. She wasn't complaining, she didn't have tears
streaming down her face. She didn't say I wish I'd

a super Bowl winning defense right now, Like if people
go down, if Will Anderson or Danil Hunter or even
you know, Petrie or Bullock or Singley or whatever, if
they miss a piece, a key piece or two, I
will back off of that. But as prized and healthy,
this is a super Bowl winning winning caliber defense.

But as you say that, though you hear it, you
have to say, can the defense be so amazing? No, yeah,
that it can overcome. Let's be brutally honest and average.

Brad Johnson Buccaneers are on that list. The Giants when
they won with Jeff H. Stetler was all defense at
that point. Okay, but it's a short list.

Yeah, it's a short list. So all I'm saying is
that can you be one? Can you be the sixth
Super Bowl champion team out of sixty that have had
amazing defenses? In mid offenses?

Well, they already have a better offense than like the
trendilferd but their defense isn't as good. So yeah, it's
a matter of finding the medium. Can the offense be
good enough right now? I mean two weeks ago, we
would be talking about the AFC favorites and we would
be naming the Bills and the Colts and the Texans
just beat them both in a row, and you got
you got a little You're a question of.

Smith was talking about AFC champions I was like, it
popped into my head too.

my weekend in Austin and I went to bed.

I got you. Yeah, I mean Denver's does it. I
mean they've they've won what eight nine consecutive games. I
mean credit that goes where credit is. But people in
Denver are like, man, this is amazing. And meanwhile Wee
and Houston are like, yeah, your bo nick sucks. Meanwhile
people in Denver like, well, C J. Stroud and the
offense sucks. So I think every city right now has

their hesitation. Okay, there ain't nobody beating their chest right now.
New England ten and two they play tonight. They've won
nine consecutive games, Drake may is having an MVP type season.
They're to me, the most well rounded offense and defense
in the NFL. But it's also going to be their
first four right in the playoffs with this, with this leadership.
So is you there?

Yeah, Rabel's been to an AFC championship game, right, yes
he has, but this is a new team with it
or whatever.

So but again it's not they're like, been there, done that. Jacksonville.

you are what your record is. They've won three straight.

president of the Lamar Jackson Fan Club. He was terrible, rossill.

of him moving around like he's had a hamstring injury,

to go? Because the Longhorns in there, they struggled against

thing happened in that Florida game with with Lagway and
the Florida running game, and I was worried about that

won was they were able to run and for the

I feel like we've moved the ball, you know, really well?

Uh, and of course we can still get better in
the in the red zone. It's finishing with touchdowns, but
I think we're we're moving it. Well, that's it always
starts there. You know, whatever you want to do offensively,
you got to move the football. Thought we did a
good job on first down, mixing in some of our
play action passes running the ball. Thought it was a
good mix of plays on first down that gave us

the advantage there. We were able to get some explosives
on first down passing the football, and so you know,
you keep pressing forward, you keep trying to get as
many yards as possible, get in the red zone and
then that's where you know, you try to strike and
score score points.

from CJ. But you guys, for the majority of the time,
we're able to pick it up. How have you guys
been able to progress so much to this point too,
where like when teams simp listen, let you guys, you
guys able to pick it up consistently.

Now, that's credit to the coaches, uh, starting with Kaylee
and the offensive staff they do. They've done a really
good job of really emphasizing and walking through the pressure
looks that we'll see.

And credit to the players they execute the right way.

I think Woody has stepped up and did a really
nice job, you know, in protection. He's improved of picking
up the blitzes that they were bringing and kind of
got them out of.

I thought CJ did a great job of answering some
of those blitzes, getting the ball to Nico on one
down the field on a deep incut. So it's it's
collectively coaches, players, everybody working well at it. But it
starts how we practice, how guys are attending to the
details in their meetings and walking through to fix some
of the issues that we had earlier with those blitzsus.

Had some success with the reverse and also with the
pitch out to the chug.

Do you feel like with the red zone that you
guys are becoming more creative and finding solutions there?

willing to do whatever it takes to try to improve.

Now you're getting ready to go on to play a
team that has a head coach that you know every
series is fourth downs for him. Do you when when
you're game planning for that, are you going with that
mindset to match it as well?

Go and match it as far as the aggressive is concerned,
as far going forward on fourth down and things like that.

Really, for me, just looking at it, fourth downs are
we I feel like we have in advanced So I
feel like, we have plays that are good enough to
win on fourth down, So not just going in just
because they're an aggressive team on fourth down. I want
to put the team in the best possible spot. And
going back to our game, I felt like I wanted
to continue to drive down and end up scoring so

we could have a two possession lead there and really
put the game out of reach at that point. Because
our offense did such a great job of driving the
ball down that those positive the plage, but they which
they showed that allowed me to be aggressive because I
felt like we would continue to move the football.

Focus on exactly what we can do to put ourselves
