simple. Just think about the quarterback, and you got Justin Herbert. You
got a pretty good quarterback. Andso the Chargers aren't a good spot,

to get themselves out of that.But they went with Jim Harball. I

honestly think the commander's job, whichis still open, I honestly feel like
that's not that bad of a job. They got a bunch of cap space,
you don't have to have Daniel Snyderas your owner, and they've got
the number two overall pick, soyou're getting either of Caleb Williams or Drake
May and Bobby Slowick. I don'tknow if you heard of this, Coleridge

Bernard Stroud, the fourth guy.They call him CJ. He's pretty good.
And Bobby Slowan did a really goodjob with a rookie quarterback, although
of course a lot of that isdoesn't mean he's gonna do that, and
with any quarterback, CJ. Stroudjust happens to be extremely special. So
you have that situation with the Commanderswhere he was he would in theory,

you'd figure they draft the quarterback whoeverdrops to them, probably Drake May with
Caleb Williams going number one overall,whether it be to the Bears or a
team they trade to. So andthen you have a bunch of cap space
so it didn't feel like the worstscenario ever. But then you also have
to be on a team named theCommanders, which I still think Texans is
thirty two out of thirty two worstnickname in the NFL. And it'll get

better if they continue to win,and like say, you rip off a

the quarterback coach for the Texans,and other teams might be wanting to have

informed teams and interesting and hiring themat the as the OC that he plans
to return to Houston. A bigdevelopment for the Texans as Johnson wants to
finish what he started with C.J. Stroud, Dimiico, Ryans OC,
Bobby slowk and the organization. Andoh, by the way, I
imagine he got a pretty good raise, as did Bobby Slowick. At least
that was put in the Albert brewtape tweet. There's no information about raises

for Jarraw Johnson, but I imaginehe's not staying just because well actually,
I mean he's from the area anddid play with the Aggies and all that
type of stuff and does want aone with Houston. But they probably I'm
gonna guess this is no inside informationfor me. I'm gonna probably guess that
Jira Johnson got a raise as well. So great news for the Houston Texans.
Everything for the most part, asfar as the coaching staff intact,

you did lose the defensive line coach. But the Texans also had one of
the worst defensive lines in football,So not okay, that's that's not fair
to say one of the worst defensivelines in football. Just in their last
game against the Ravens, they gothandled up front. They just did so
you did have I mean, MalieCollins, Sheldon Rankins. So, guys,
I felt like played pretty well forthe for the Houston Texans throughout the

season, but it just wasn't Itjust wasn't what it could have been.
And then the last game I thinkleft a bad taste in your mouth.
But the Texans are hashtag running itback and that sounds all well and good,
and it does sound awesome, likeall right, everybody's back, slow

from the way that divisional round went. Where after that game, you're saying
to yourself, Texans got a longway to go. Texans will had a
long way to go to get upto the caliber of the Baltimore Ravens.
And then the Baltimore Ravens themselves gotpunched in the mouth by the Kansas City
Chiefs. So you almost want tosay it by proxy. They've got a
long way to get to the KansasCity Chiefs. And that's really what we

were talking about when the Texans werehaving that winning ten games and winning the
division. All praise be to theTennessee Titans for taking care of the Jacksonville
Jaguars last week of the season,allowing them to get into the playoffs and
then and destroyed the Cleveland Browns andall that type of stuff. But when
you look at the team and you'rethinking about the tiers, like when the
playoffs started, I don't know aboutyou, but I wasn't like, oh,

these guys are our Tier one SuperBowl contenders. That's just the way
that I look at it right now. The state and then tiers can be
different, especially considering which conference you'relooking at, Like I think there's only
I think there's fewer Tier one teamsin the NFC unfortunately than there is in
the AFC. And that's where thesledding gets tougher for the Houston Texans because

you got a lot of giants anddragons that you got a slagh if you
want to get to the Super Bowland be AFC champions. I mean Josh
Allen, the Buffalo Bills don't seemlike they're going anywhere. Miami Dolphins did
lose a couple of games to endthe season, but still I feel like
Mike McDaniel and that group are goingto be pretty good. But I'm putt

maybe the Texans on par with them, but I don't think they're on part
with the Baltimore Ravens. Look atthat divisional game. I think if the
Cincinnati Bengals get back, I mean, they went nine to eight without Joe
Burrow for a lot of the season, and the Texas did go up to
Cincinnati and beat them. But I'mtalking about weekend week out, positioning yourself
to be a higher seed, gettingthat home game. It's going to be

tough to be competing with Joe Burrowand the Bengals, and Josh Allen to
the Buffalo Bills, Lamar Jackson,the Baltimore Ravens and Pat Mahomes and the
Kansas City Chiefs, and now JimHarball, who's won at every coaching stop
he's been at, as Justin Herbertand the Los Angeles Chargers looking to turn
things around, and then a lotof times there's surprise teams. What if

Will Levis makes a lead. Goodthing is you're in the weakest division I
think in the entire AFC, althoughthey're contenders all over the place, and
that first place schedule, you're gonnabe playing all of them basically next year.
That's another thing too. Schedule isgoing to toughen up, and I
think it's it's outside of the division. You do what you are in the

five six of these jobs, althoughthere's only thirty two of them, five
to six of them open every singleyear, if not more so, he
