thought we were gonna get, you'regetting. There's a toughness about him that
I like, and toughness is onething. You still got to get people

He's really done a good job ofunderstanding and commanding what he's trying to

not know how to do it,no shot. So every now and then,
with all the nonsense and hot takecrap you do on TV, how
about having just a day, everyday during football season you break down one
coverage or one personnel grouping or onewhat they mean when they mean zap motion,

Johnny Lingo stuff, what does itmean? You'd get a lot out of.

what does that mean? It's likeWHOA, Okay, yeah, and not

you know, you never had anybodyI got. There's high school kids that

you know why they snap their headover to the sidelines. They don't read
anything, They just play. Thecoaches won't let look over there. They're
telling them where to throw it,which to me is just so absurd,
And you don't teach them understanding protections. At some point, no matter what
level, you're gonna have to understandprotections. If you don't know who the
free guy is or who's not blocked, you're gonna get your ass handed to
you, whether it's baseball or basketball. So the the the intellect of and

then we sit here and preach howimportant it is to know mental football and
baseball and basketball. Yet, ifyou're a teacher in school, or a
teacher as a coach and you're leavingpeople behind, or a broadcaster at the
broadcaster, what's their number one gigentertain inform us, teach us. Wouldn't
you think that somebody turns on theTV and say, oh, now I

understand what he means by the willlinebacker. Some people don't. I mean,

his father times catching up to him, and he said, when you've got

run in Triple A, he's playedin three games, all against Seattle.

It is probably if you were goingto run him back like you did,
probably not the team you wanted tosee him against, if you were trying
to build confidence in that speed andget him back to where he wants because
they faced four really good pitchers.I think it is. I think it
is purely mismanagement to bring him backto face Seattle. I understand he's a

pro and you got to do it, but to where the reason you sent
him down was the very reason youshould not have played him in this series.
So and also a big thing that'sbeen made about his struggles is the

of the best pitching staffs in baseball, all because Jeff Bagwell said he's had
some good at bats down in theComplex League and Triple A. Even though

at bats weren't that good in TripleA. Kirby wasn't pitching down in Westboo.

he is a big leaguer and youhave to face pitching like that, But
when you are struggling mentally and strugglingmightily like he has, been. It
