you get nervous because his daughter goes to Baylor. And
his wife told me a cool story this weekend where
she said, yeah, one of the parents, you know, we
somehow got to the conversation. I guess they're from Houston
and yeah, you know, we have a friend of ours

you have a deaf teammate, and he was just like,
oh okay. So then later that day at batting practice,
Murph goes up to whatever guy that he deemed was
going to be the deaf teammate and he let the
guy in on it. Yeah, he goes by the way,
just so you know you're deaf now, so so.

Play along with it. So so is I can imagine
just Frinchie because why I love I think he's great,
he's the best. I think he's a great HiT's better guy. Yeah,
he's a great human being, and I think he does
a hell of a job. Broadcasting doesn't take it too serious,

to dinner and he cut his wife in on it too,

thinking also, imagine in Philly when you think about they're
starting pitching normally, and then if Nola and Zach Wheeler
were right, but Lozardo's your fifth, sixth starter, I mean,
come on now, Yeah, but you know, the arms in

Milwaukee are stupid and have been up for the last
ten years. There's always a handful arms in there. When
people are looking to get an off season trader, go
get somebody, you know where the Milwaukee's one of the
first places you look because they have a They always
seem to have an embarrassment of riches of arms. The Dodgers, obviously,
there's always two or three guys say where'd that guy

come from? And then he and he's sitting fifth in
the in the order there, you know. And then Milwaukee's
just been resilient all your long. Toronto's had a fantastic year,
you blank. The biggest problem was for Philly they should
if they got one going back to Dodger Stadium. I
give them a chance. It's gonna be hard to win
three in a row, so everybody. And then there Seattle,
who just kind of gone about their business, but they

pitched extremely well from starting pitching bullpen and they can
rake now.

So with uh, with the Dodgers, you think they're reaching
uh Dodgers or inevitable status because they.

Sure look like it.

Oh man, Yeah, but it's not as good a team
as last year. But I mean going to a hostile
environment and do what they did in two games.

And that's hard to do, especially there. But here's the
thing that comes and did Lozardo and Snell for six
seven innings were lights out And when with all the
pitching you've seen from the you know, we we continue
to see from great frontline starters, especially in the postseason.
I've said they're watching them, dude, they're both of them.

When they were, they were unhittable. It felt, I mean, well,
Snell was for six innings and Lozardo had just been
barely touched early on. Then he got a little trouble,
both of them and they went to the bullpen. But
and snells, dude, he was He threw four straight change
ups to uh, what's not what's a shortstops name Phillies

Turner Turner through four straight change ups to Turner boom
boom boom. Any I mean then the at bat before
when he is opening at bat in the situation Castianos
he threw him. He went cheese, cheese, cheese done. You
know what I'm saying. So it's just it is they're
they're the Dodgers. We can stay inevitable. But I'm gonna

tell you though, to give Sasaki's at the back end.
If you put in there, you're you're fine. He's pumping
it in one hundred miles an hour and he's good.
But if you're starting pitcher has trouble in the in
the six, seven and eight, that's if they lose the
World Series, that's where it's going to be. I'm just
telling you that's exactly where it's going to be. And
if they think that they're going to waltz into Milwaukee

and it's going to be some easy task, it's not.
Because you know, you go to people right now, hey,
who are the Milwaukee's best players? You know that you'll
roll through and there people will have to average baseball
fans will have trouble name in that lineup right and
the arms in it. And then when you go through,
so oh damn, and then you watch him and say, oh,
now I get it. And then again, being well managed,
inevitable yes, if they do what they do in Philly,

they'll be fine. But I'm not crying them champs right
now because I don't trust their bullpen, just like I
don't trust the Yankees bullpen.

Well, I mean it's reason to have those feelings about
both of those teams, because I mean that's the way
it's been all season long. And I mean I said
it yesterday with Nate Griffin on Fox. He was asking me,
you know, just how I see these series going, and
I said, Toronto will win the night.

And then I mean, you hate to say it, but.

I mean Seattle puts together enough offense with that starting
pitching in the back end of the bullpen that they
have that is a really really tough out like they
almost kind of look like pitching wise the way the
twenty twenty two Astros did dud.

They're starting pitching all the way through is filthy. It
is absolutely And the one thing that's been missed from
teams maybe the past is a whole bunch of power
right one year at Rodriguez and now and they made
you know when you're asking for moves at the deadline
to work for you, and they have. And then they've
just continued to rake Man, and it's and for Philly,

the problem is he ran in the wrong time. Castiano's
hitting about platoon and hitting like two oh seven the
second half of the season. Schwarber went in the last
night's game, Oh, for is last nineteen or whatever it was,
And that's a guy who led the league one hundred
and thirty two RBIs or whatever and fifty six homers.
He hits fifty six and we don't even talk about
because Cal Rowley's sixty in the other league, right, I

mean crazy and is an MVP guy of it. And
the guy in LA's going to win that again. But
it's just you start to look around there. If it's
a Seattle Mariners the World Series champs, you cannot. If
Seattle's playing Milwaukee in the World Series, you should not
be surprised.

some damn good teams and good players, but they all
have a well, the two big ones, the teams that
expected to get back into it. The Yankees and Dodgers.
There's some glaring weakness there. There's a couple of teams
that don't have a glaring weakness. And I think we
know who those teams are, and we've already talked about them. Yep.
I mean the Cubs last night.

and you're thinking like, all right, hey, it's gonna be
the Cubs night and yeah, and then Andrew Vaughn comes
