Speaker 1 (00:00):
Join this morning by mister Andrew Larson from Larsen Home
Services Online Larsenhome Services dot com. That's l A R
s O N Home Services dot com. Andrew, how are
you doing this morning?
Speaker 2 (00:15):
It's raining, it's pouring.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
How's the old man doing.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Ah, you're doing, You're doing.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
I'm doing good, doing good, doing good.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
You know it's uh, it's been really dry.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah, yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Been really really dry. I've got a pond at my house,
and I owned this property since twenty twenty. I've never
seen it so low goow. So this is a wonderful
thing to see. Right, it's actually pouring at my house.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Get it, get that pond filled up, get those gutters work.
And we were a funny story, Andrew. And as we
talked this morning with Andrew Larson of lars Home Service,
I mentioned the website Larstorm Services dot Com didn't match
the telephone number six so eight five three five forty
three forty three. That's five three five four three four three. Also,
if you've got a question for Andrew, one of the
things that I don't know we take enough advance of,
(01:00):
Andrew is the opportunity for folks to call in during
our segments and they're always welcome of I know you
love questions calls, those type of things. Six eight three
two one thirteen ten. That's six eight three two one
thirteen ten gets you on the air with Andrew Larson
from Larst Home Services. We are at a at a
cross country banquet last night, and of course all the
parents are sitting at their uh, at their table as
(01:21):
far away from those kiddos as possible because they're.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
So dang loud.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
But you want to guess what we were talking about
around the table last night as as as the parents.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Were gathering gutters, living.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Gutters, gutters and specifically down spouts, and I said, I said,
I said there you should well you were you're and
this is this is not a joke. You were met
I talked about you. I said, you know, I've been
doing the show with Andrew for years now. And one
of the things I learned because uh, the one the
one parent had commented about noticing on a house that
(01:55):
had larger down spouts, I said, you know, I learned
from Andrew Larson. I said that that those bigger down spouts,
aside from allowing like more to breed and water to
go down they also work like there's like more suction.
It's almost like a vacuum, pulling that water down and
out and away from and shooting it out away from
your house. I said, it's important to have those. It's
(02:17):
it's more than just looking good. It's also about functioning well,
isn't it. Wow?
Speaker 2 (02:22):
You know you know that you're getting older and you've
really become a parent, and that's your conversation. You know, Yeah,
you guys probably weren't even drinking.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
No, no, we were drinking drinking bottled water and gatorade.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yes, no, obviously it is very important. And you know
you text me and you usually text me every morning,
and what do you want to talk about? And you know,
how how long have we been doing this? I don't
even know.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
We're probably getting close to ten years. And that's not
an exaggeration.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
We may have had a long time. Yeah, So I
think about the show and what do I want to
talk about? Wow? If you want to talk about gutters
roughing your insulation, which is stuff that's very near and
dear to my heart. And I do consider myself an
expert in all of these, in all of these areas,
but that, to me, that's not necessarily just what this
show is about it We want I want to help people.
(03:13):
You know, we do our podcast and we get a
lot you know, obviously social media is easier to interact,
right It's it's very easy to go on Spotify or
or or iTunes or Facebook, Instagram wherever the podcast is
and ask questions and we have somebody who monitors it,
and then we try to answer questions. On the show.
(03:36):
We reward people with what I call a little Wisconsin love.
What else would that be besides a quick trip gift
card for asking good questions? And I kind of would
like to do the same thing here. I mean, I
know there's a lot of people that have been listening
to this for for many years, and I know that
you gain new listeners. But I want to help people
(03:56):
when it comes to home improvement or construction of any sort.
So when it's asked the experts. Am I an expert
in everything? Absolutely not, but I know people who are.
So if you've got questions about you know, Gunter's roofing insulation,
that's an easy I'll easy one, I'll answer it, and
many other home improvement things. But it could be literally anything,
(04:19):
foundation work, basement, waterproofing, siding, foundation, framing, landscaping, you name it.
I want to answer those questions. And I have an
email address that our appointment centers look at very closely.
And I know I've talked about Larson Kinni and Larson
Home Services and Kini Home Services. This email address goes
(04:40):
to We have a lot of shared people in our
call center when we set appointments is shared so that
the email address is actually called office at Larsonkini dot com.
They all monitor that they look at that constantly every day.
So if you have any questions that you would like
answered and I can answer on the air, just email
(05:01):
that it's office at Larson Keeney l A R s
O n k E n e e y Kenie and
I can answer it on the show. Because I really
like the show to be a lot more interactive. Yes, honestly,
I start running out of ideas and I don't want
(05:23):
it to just be let's talk about roof, let's talk
about gutters today. Obviously we'll sprinkle that in, but I
would love to have help people with specific questions, maybe
get a little bit more in depth than what Google
can get you. Maybe some first hand, real world experience
instead of AI answering it because now I think Google
(05:44):
AI answers everything on Google now, which I like, you
know it is. But I have experiences. I have many, many,
many stories of those experiences throughout the years. And uh,
but please know office at Larson Kini dot com. Ask
questions and we can answer them on the show and
make it more personal and interactive.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
And that's office at Larson l A R s O
N keenye k e n e e y dot com.
All one word Office at Larson Kini dot com. If
you want to remember how to spell keenie, it's it's
one E two e's three e's makes keenie. So you
got first e N, two e's y, you get keenie
one two three key right, that's right, that's three e's.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Three e's. It's not a real common last name, No, it's.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I always want to add an a or make the
first two e's. It's it's one e followed by uh
an n and then two.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
E's or yeah and well, And to be completely honest
with you, it's probably gonna get easier because I think
the beginning of the year we might do a little
bit of a rebrand it look, it's just it's almost
necessary because we've gotten you know, I personally, I think
you do the right thing and good things will happen.
But me and Josh Keeney has been my best friend
(07:04):
for many, many years, and we started our companies at
the same time. We grew our companies together, just on
opposite sides of the state, and we always did the
exact same thing. We always did gutters, roofing, and insulation,
and we worked together. And then we started sharing people,
marketing director, social media people, call center, hr accounting, And
(07:24):
now I think it's kind of now we're just getting
to the point where it's like maybe we just join them,
so we'll be coming out with more about that. I
don't want it to be confusing. We literally are the
exact same companies. My instamators could go work up there,
they could come work down here. My gutter installers installation
installers could go work up there. They could come work
down here, which we do all the time. We share people,
(07:47):
so it's most likely going to end up being larsen
kiniomeservices dot com, just because it's the best way to
do for us for branding and marketing to get a
hold of everybody, but yes, office at Larson Kinnie dot com.
You can google it if you can't remember how to
spell it. But bring the questions anything related to construction, landscaping,
(08:12):
home improvement, anything at all. And we can really dive
into these questions during the show.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
And I think one of the great and for folks
that have listened to the show for years. One of
the things you know right away about Andrew is he's
got He's gonna give it to you straight. Is is
if you've got a question, you want the you want
the the honest to goodness answer answer, Andrew will give
that to you. And that's a great h that's a
great thing having somebody that that's there to give you
those answers, give you those keys, give you that insight,
(08:40):
a great opportunity for you. Again, you can call during
the show, or even better if you get time and
you get into the office, send an email to Andrew. Again,
that's office at Larsonkini dot com. That's office at Larsonkini
dot com. Again, it doesn't have to be about roofs,
doesn't have to be about gutters, it doesn't have to
be about insulation. It can be anything related. You get
an expert at your fingertips.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Answer your question will be easy ones to answer. Yeah,
but I'm sure people that listen to this on a
regular basis get sick of learning about yes and relation.
We could make it anything. I do remember back in
the day, Sean at the at the I don't know
what what it was called then, but now it's iHeart Studio. Yes,
(09:20):
people getting calls, Yeah, it happened regularly. Yes, and we
used to do the show for a full hour on Saturdays. Yes,
back we had we had a lot of people call in.
But that was a long time ago.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
That was that was a little more than Yeah, that was.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
I don't know who that was. That was a while ago.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
That was good stuff. Yeah, that was.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Great getting questions and you know, again it's about helping people.
We get some great questions. We just we just did
a podcast on d y I versus hiring a professional,
and let me tell you, we got some really good
questions and I will give it to people straight.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Can I do this by myself? Well you can. I
wouldn't recommend it, yeah, you know, it depends on your expertise.
But if you're if you're having to YouTube a really
intricate or serious home improvement project to watch videos on
how to do it. I don't know if I would.
I was a serial DYI or for a long time
(10:21):
because it's really all I could afford. And I can
tell you I did some work that wasn't the best.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
I think about some of the stories that you've shared
over the years about about encounters of roofing jobs, specifically
where we're like, you know, father, father in law, uncle, homeowner,
all get together and they did it over a weekend,
only to realize they didn't do a very good job,
and they're trying to save money, and at the end
of the day, not only did they not save that money,
(10:51):
there's all that waste created, all that time lost, and
you think about just doing it the right the first
time and again. Andrew would love to hear from you,
of course if you were. You're on Facebook and social
media as well, make sure you follow and find Larson
