Pavilions always pop off to dog leftfield and right field.

So like so yeah, they'll be selling Padre stuff. I

the cruise show. It's been a busy week and it's
been chaotic. We've had a few interviews. Akon came in yesterday,
a Kon I feel like, was literally like someone that

oh my god, this is a Kon because I grew
up listening to Akon for sure. And then he was
like finally here and I was like, oh my god, wait,
like you're you have hits dogs.

When I was because after the show yesterday I had
to drive to West Covina. I was listening to Akons
like just a playlist, and I was singing every song.

that he would sell his catalog for a billion dollars, right,
which is a crazy number.

you feel important as well.

interview Akon now for a few years, right from the

ever meet or come across Michael Jackson?

I had an epiphany yesterday that I want to bring
to the podcast. I was telling you guys that I
was thinking about going back to school. Yeah, and Cruise

I didn't laugh. I was just like, what, like, huh,
like this is the way you said it, and I laughed. Honestly,
I laugh because, like I said, Jackie has four jobs
and she's gonna throw school into that mix, which is wild.
But now it potentially you don't have children, so now's

I don't know. I just feel like I wanna do
something else that's like gonna fulfill me more. Yeah. So

Pavilions always pop off to dog leftfield and right field.

like one when it was it yesterday or two days night,

Like, and I have the food Fest this weekend in
San Diego, and we had to like get marketplace vendors,
like clothing vendors, And every time I went to the Instagram,
like the Instagram to check them out, I was like,
why are they selling a bunch of Padre's like and
I was like, oh wait, it'sn't San Diego.

So like so yeah, they'll be selling Padre stuff. I
guess right, Yeah it's okay.

Yeah, it was just I was just like, okay, it
threw me off Firs like and I was like, oh wait,
I'm going into their city. Yeah, also to here in
the cruise show. It's been a busy week and it's
been chaotic. We've had a few interviews. Akon came in yesterday,
a Kon I feel like, was literally like someone that

I it didn't click in my head that I'm like,
oh my god, this is a Kon because I grew
up listening to Akon for sure. And then he was
like finally here and I was like, oh my god, wait,
like you're you have hits dogs.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Like like for gen Z, there's an Acon song for
every part of your life.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Yeah, every moment.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
When I was because after the show yesterday I had
to drive to West Covina. I was listening to Akons
like just a playlist, and I was singing every song.
I was like, dude, what the heck.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
He's got hits man. And you know, he had mentioned
that he would sell his catalog for a billion dollars, right,
which is a crazy number.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
But hey, I think it's worth it.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Whatever you're worth, you know, Hey, man, that's that's all good.
Wherever you believe you're worth, right, that's that. Then that's
what it is, you know, but you know he's got
an extensive catalog full of hits, monster hits, sing a
long hits. Yeah that stuck.

Yeah, And did we have anybody else's wee? Yeah, I
think we did. I just like literally don't know what
week we're on, so I feel like I don't know.

We just had all the two thousand. Yeah, Victoria money
we have tomorrow. We already had it, depending on when
you're listening to this, but yeah, I'm excited for Victoria Monet.

one of those guys that you know, there's a few
artists that can do this that make you feel special. Yeah, right,
they know they're special, and they know that that we're
all here for them and they're here for themselves as well.
But Acon is one of those artists that just makes

you feel makes you feel calm and comfortable, and makes
you feel important as well.

Like he asked, how you're doing like and he just
wants to know, like what you've been up to you, and.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
He speaks to you, and he looks you in the eye,
and he's he answers questions with intent and with respect
to the person and asking. He's just one of those guys. Man,
He's always been that way. I've had a chance to
interview Akon now for a few years, right from the
beginning of his career till now, and he's been that guy,
the same guy.

He's never switched up.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, you definitely could tell that he's just a very like,
humble guy, doesn't like anything too flashy. And he said
that in the interview. Something he else is said in
the interview too. I want I didn't even ask you
guys this have you guys did because he was talking
about Michael Jackson in the interview. Yeah, did you guys
ever meet or come across Michael Jackson?

I never met Michael Jackson, No, Garcia, did you ever
meet Michael Jackson Nelson?

No, No, man, dude, that's kind of man.

I would have cried if I would have met Michael Jackson.

I remember, like I remember Michael Jackson's like death very vividly,
Like I came back from summer school. I came back
from summer school and my dad was like, Michael Jackson died,
and we were just watching everything unfold on the news.
It was crazy, wild man.

It's never had a chance to meet Michael Jackson. I
don't even know what I would have said, you.

I've met his son, Oh, Prince, yeah, he o. Joe

younger than me as kid.

It's happy happening, like, yeah, he's a cool kid. And
then nic Nico will literally be like, what do you mean,
You're literally like almost the same age. I'm like yeah,
but I just feel like so much older than I am, right, right, right.
I had an epiphany yesterday that I want to bring
to the podcast. I was telling you guys that I
was thinking about going back to school. Yeah, and Cruise
(11:31):
laughed at me.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
I didn't laugh. I was just like, what, like, huh,
like this is the way you said it, and I laughed. Honestly,
I laugh because, like I said, Jackie has four jobs
and she's gonna throw school into that mix, which is wild.
But now it potentially you don't have children, so now's
the time to do it. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
I don't know. I just feel like I wanna do
something else that's like gonna fulfill me more. Yeah. So
like yeah, I don't know. I just like I always
feel like I'm I want to do more, and just
like I don't know, but I.

Want to accomplish more.

I want to accomplish more. Yeah, I don't know. But
I also in the back of my head, I'm also
like I need to take a break.

doing hella stuff or I just want to like rot
and do nothing.

And then most of the time doing hell of stuff

and his bachelor's.

See so competitively competitively do you want to go back
to school?

Is that why or no? Or is that part of it?

No, I just think I should know more. I feel
like I should know more. And that's what, like I
think it is. I've always asked him, like, do you
feel like do you think less of me because I
don't have a degree and you do? And he's like
told me, He's like no, because you're.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Supposed to say yes.

Well, I mean I don't know, Like he's very blunt,
so like I wouldn't be surprised if he did actually
say yes, Yeah, you would say that's right, that's right. Yeah.
So but he was just like no, because like, you know,
I'm doing what we both have like wanted to do forever.
And I did it without a degree and he did
it with one so true. Yeah, he's just like no,
I mean we're both on the same like.

Yeah, I went to like get it done myself, Yeah.
