The Badgers welcome the Golden Gophers to the Kohl Center in Madison looking to avenge their 18 point loss in Minneapolis a few weeks back. Wisconsin was plagued by turnovers from the start in which Minnesota turned into points. The Gophers took a 17 point lead into halftime. In the 2nd half, Wisconsin couldn't get the shots to fall when they needed them. Minnesota continued to pull away down the stretch. Badgers leading scorer Marsha Howard had 10 points.
