Speaker 1 (00:08):
The lt N Hour.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Let's talk Nascar with your host Todd Bayling, co hosts
Brian Schmidt, PJ. Newedleman, and producer Dangerous Dan Margetta. Call
the show anytime at four one four four two one
seventy nine oh one. And now the creator and host
of the Vastest Hour and radio, Todd Bailing.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Well, welcome to the great experiment of twenty twenty five.
We are spread out from where we usually do this
program from. We asked for your patients and understanding, Todd
Bailing in Tampa, Florida, where I was down to actually
visit my son Dan and have Thanksgiving with him this

(00:56):
past week. And oh, by the way, since I'm here,
it seemed like a real good time to go over
to the Freedom Factory and watch the Billy Bigley one
twenty eight last night. My three partners are spread out.
Let's let's go to your Sheboygan County plowboy Brian Schmidt,

(01:17):
who's been working like day and night. Are you all right?

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Uh, City Pall guy. I wish that was you.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
I wish I was in Tampa, Florida, because that'd be
a hell a lot better than where we are right now.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
That's for sure. But now I'm still awake somewhat.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
That's that's kind of humorous when I think about it.
And speaking of Florida, our partner PJ. Noodleman has just
pulled into a parking stall in Pensacola after driving all
night in the Hauller that took second place last night
here at the Freedom Factory. PJ. Noodleman, did you find

(01:56):
the ladies room yet?

Speaker 6 (01:57):
No?

Speaker 7 (01:58):
Not yet, but you're sort of half right. I mean,
the Haller did drive all the way through, but Toby
and I were in our car, oh, because I drove
down here. So yeah, we rolled into Pensacol about five
point fifteen this morning, did waffle house, so we ate
and then we just kind of sat in the car.
Now the pits are opening up, so I just signed
in and I'm heading down there.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
Oh my lord, I got more sleep than you.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
And I'm a flow guy up here in the snow.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
That ain't right. And of course, our producer, director Dangerous
Dan Margotta, back at the home Front in Saint Francis.
Are you looking out the window or what? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (02:35):
I see snow.

Speaker 9 (02:36):
I did yesterday to Watts know It all day and
all night. You guys, are doing all this cool stuff. Well,
Brian is plowing, so it's done. I got to go
out and stubble at all. But I kind of wish
I was in Florida.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yeah, yeah, we we make no apologies for that. The
reason we're in Florida. Like I mentioned, the Billy Bigley
one twenty eight turns out to be a pretty important
event for a lot of guys. It's just one set
of tires for the race, and which saves quite a
bit of money. It's a one hundred and twenty eight lapper,

(03:07):
sounds like an odd number. Billy Bigley Senior was number
twenty eight. His son and his grandson Junior, and I
don't even know if they call him the third both
raced last night. I got the chance to meet Billy
Bigley Junior. I was introduced by Scott Hansen in the
pit area yesterday. It was pretty cool. It's a pretty

(03:28):
important event, thirty thousand dollars to win, and a guy
we just don't hear much from. George Gorham Junior, a
thirty eight year old guy who just runs basically the
short tracks of Florida. I lives in Winterhaven, Florida. I

(03:48):
don't know if you guys knew this, but guys and girl.
But he did run one Martinsville Xfinity race in twenty
twenty one in the number ninety car. He had run
up into the top ten apparently, but then had some
sort of problem and I think he finished about eighteenth
in that one. So he does have a little tiny
bit of Expinity experience. But well, just an incredibly impressive

(04:13):
run last night. Of course, I guess it's pretty easy
to beat Ty Majeski when he's only running on seven cylinders,
right PJ.

Speaker 10 (04:22):
Well, Ty even said that I don't think he had
anything for them.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
They really were on a rail.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
And sometimes it's your year and sometimes it's not. You know,
last year Ty had fast time and won the race
and put a schwacken on everybody, and this year Mike
Garvey and George Gorham Junior had it all set.

Speaker 10 (04:39):
They were the ones putting the schwacken on everybody.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah, I did hear that Mike Garvey was over there,
which is interesting. This George Gorham is Mario Goslin's brother
in law. Guy that's raced from Florida for many, many years,
and many of you know the name. Also among the Wisconsin.
Continu Brasen Bennett was one of the guys down here

(05:04):
and he won the non qualifier feature last night. Let
every lap fourteen and fifty bucks goes back into the bank,
and it's a good weekend for those guys too. They're
going to leave the car now. I talk to Lowell Bennett.
They're going to leave the cars down here and they're
going to run a race at Auburndale coming up. I
don't know when it is exactly, but they're going to

(05:27):
stay down here and run that race too, So best
to luck to them. As far as NASCAR goes, the
big news is the Trials starts tomorrow. Are we all
ready as the mud slinging been appropriate at this point?
Are we sure everybody's fired up and snorting and scratching

(05:49):
at the dirt and waiting to go ahead to head
in court?

Speaker 6 (05:52):
Ah?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Boy, it's even though the people who don't like the
way NASCAR business, what we do know is since it
is the major league of stock car racing, and really
stock car racing to me is what it's all about.
I know there's a lot of dirt fans. I know

(06:13):
there's a lot of open wheel fans, that's very nice. Personally,
It's always been about stock cars, and if you're in
the stock car business, NASCAR is where it's at. It's
what every stock car racer aspires to for their career,
not just for the money for the show. This is
when you drive a stock car to a win, it's
a big deal. And the sport that we have followed

(06:35):
this closely, we have heard nothing but complaints over the
years about how it's run and the hierarchy and how
they kind of bitch slap people around and how they
just tell you to put up or shut up. And
they refer to some of the greatest car owners in
the history of NASCAR as a need to go out
back and be flogged because their whole career they wouldn't

(06:58):
have anything if it wasn't for NASCAR. Blah blah blah. Well,
that attitude has landed them in court and they're gonna
go ahead to head with the greatest basketball player that
ever lived that has so much money he can afford
to afford to a run at the three card two
and a half car team without having a charter. That's

(07:18):
how rich Michael Jordan is. And we're going to take
it to court. Tomorrow and see what it's all about
and listen to the arguments. It's not gonna be televised, though,
is it. They're gonna just have to We're gonna have
to wait and listen to the watch for written accounts
of everything, right. I mean that that's the way it is, Dan,
I believe.

Speaker 9 (07:38):
No no cameras in the court room and be no
coverage of it that way. Reporters that are they're gonna
have to take handwritten notes and write reports afterwards. If
you want to report something going on, you gotta get
out of the court room and make your report. So
when it's all said and done, everybody take the notes
together and write something up and let you know what happened.
But it's gonna be interesting. I mean, I I don't
know where it's gonna all end up.

Speaker 8 (07:58):
I really don't.

Speaker 9 (07:59):
I mean I look at these things and you see
the emotion side is on the team side. Everybody's looking
what they're calling him on the on the text messages.
Look what they did, how they run this thing. Some
of the factual stuff was more on NASCAR sides. I mean,
they brought the charter system up for the teams. They
pretty much gave him to them. They had their deal,
then they had another deal, and now they gave them, uh,

(08:19):
they gave more money. Pretty much all the extra TV
money from this last deal is going right to the team.

Speaker 8 (08:23):
So they've done some stuff. I mean, it's not like
you haven't done anything.

Speaker 9 (08:26):
I don't know, I don't know how it's going to
end up, you know, Ryan McGee wrote from ESPN wrote
an article kind of taking the NASCAR, So I'm not
taking aside completely, but at least putting them out there
here's what they have done. And Denny Hamlin responded right
away and called it propaganda. So and he got piled
on pretty big online.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
So it's sounded like he said something to the effect of,
you know, you had a check with NASCAR and make
sure that the wording was all right in this press release.
It sounded like he was just railing on him for
taking NASCAR's side. But there's you know, I'm not sure

(09:03):
how to take this whole thing. Even though everybody hates
NASCAR's attitude and how they've treated people over the years
and how they're so high and mighty, they still are
the ones that came up with the series and have
worked for fifty sixty years now to turn it into

(09:24):
the greatest racing entity on Earth. I think it is anyway,
So we've got one guy comes in and says, I
don't like the way you're doing business. Let's change things. Well,
careful what you wish for, That's what I'm saying. Let's
hope everything turns out good for the good guys. At
any time of this program, if you'd like to participate,

(09:45):
all you got to do is pick up your telephone
and dial four to one four four two one seventy
nine zero one and weigh in on any of the
things we talk about. Spread out all over the place.
We're going to take a break, can be back in
just a couple of to hang in there.

Why ah, there we go. You may have heard us talking.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
PJ is already working hard after driving all night getting
zero sleep. She's got the portable microphone and she's in
the pit area at the Pensacola. Now we keep in
mind that they're not racing in Pensacola until one week
from today. It will be televised on Flow by the way,
in case anybody's wondering. But a couple of cars have

(12:16):
got there early, and PJ is standing by with a
young man who has a looks like a absolutely limitless future.
Tye Fredrickson, PJ wy, don't you go ahead and have
a few words?

Speaker 7 (12:30):
All right, mister Fredrickson, how you doing? When did you
guys roll into town?

Speaker 8 (12:35):
Uh Friday evening.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yesterday?

Speaker 18 (12:39):
And I think we're decent, hoping to make a few
good adjustments today and we'll be ready for the derby.

Speaker 10 (12:44):
This is your first derby, right that's right.

Speaker 7 (12:47):
And your dad has been here before, what kind of
advice has he given you, because making the grace is
a big deal.

Speaker 18 (12:53):
Yeah, I's definitely giving me a lot of ice about
the line here, the tire fall off and the discipline it.
You need had to be pretty good in the race.
But the goal is obviously to make the race. Right now,
I'm not really nervous about it, and my mind's just
another race and got a little bit of work to do,
so we can be good enough to make the race
and hopefully it'll be a fun weekend for us.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
You had a really great season all things considered. I mean,
I know there was a few little hiccups throughout there
with some haller challenges to get you where you needed
to go, but all in all, you had a really
great season.

Speaker 10 (13:24):
You feel like you've got some good mo going in here.

Speaker 8 (13:27):
Yeah, I think so. We've got our four barrel program
pretty good.

Speaker 18 (13:30):
We had a strong run in that ASA weeken in Wisconsin,
so hopefully we can keep the momentum rolling into the Derby.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
There's been a lot of discussion four barrel, two barrel
up in Wisconsin.

Speaker 10 (13:41):
What do you prefer? Do you prefer the four of
the two.

Speaker 18 (13:45):
I would prefer the four barrel because it's harder and
it makes it more passing going on. But I like
the race tracks in Wisconsin where you run the two barrel,
so if we got to mix it both, that'd be
pretty fun.

Speaker 10 (13:57):
Awesome.

Speaker 7 (13:58):
Well, I'm wishing you all the in the world. You're
going to be practicing today. Are you hoping to get
some more practice in tomorrow too? Or you guys just
scheduled for today.

Speaker 18 (14:06):
Just scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, But we got a
lot of practice later in the week to get dialed in.

Speaker 10 (14:12):
How many tires did you guys have to purchase for
this race?

Speaker 18 (14:15):
A few, definitely in the double digits, maybe even in
the twenties, So a lot of tires goes into this.

Speaker 8 (14:21):
But hopefully we can meet the show.

Speaker 7 (14:23):
You got a lot of sponsors that are probably wanting
to see you do well here your first time down.

Speaker 8 (14:27):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 18 (14:28):
Definitely takes a whole lot of people to get the
money to come down here and run these fun races.
So Herman's Landscape supplies nord Tech Equipment, MFR Fast Eddies,
Fund Center, Frederickson Farms, Rackshak Barbicane, Jaron Trucking.

Speaker 10 (14:43):
I'm wishing you lots of luck. It's good to have
more Midwest representation down here. Thank you appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (14:48):
That's Ty Fredrickson. He's going to be making his debut
here at the Snowball there are we hoping to make the.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Feature he said he said twenty is that he didn't
mean twenty sets of tires many tires total? Right, what
are they like one hundred and a half of tire
So it's like, you know, six hundred dollars a set.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
He might just have twenty tires, which would be five sets.
They're probably just the thing is and this is a
Midwest mentality, Okay, Midwest racers generally speaking will not go
crazy on tire purchases because they know you got to
have the car set up to run on old tires,
so you're going to spend a lot of your practice

(15:33):
on old tires, and then you might put on a
set of stickers just to do like a mock qualifying run.
So that's kind of the mentality of the Midwestern racers
down here. The seven raisers that have deep pockets, Yeah,
they probably would buy twenty sets of tires.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Good God, when Kyle Bush came to Slinger one time,
apparently he would just going crazy by and tires, and
I just shook my head and thinking, well, why, I
mean why you to me? You want to find out
how you're going to do on a long run on
these tires. And if you're buying tires every time you

(16:13):
go out on the damn track, what are you learning
about how the tires are going to act after you know,
a hundred laps? So who knows for the race? Right?
You want?

Speaker 8 (16:22):
You want that long run for the race, So that
really comes in a hand.

Speaker 9 (16:25):
But when there's so many cards on there and it's
hard to make that race, he almost gotta have to
get in the show to begin with, right.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Yeah, accent, it makes sense, all right. Well, there's a
couple of things going on that we could bring up here.

Speaker 10 (16:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
This week was the week that we saw Richard Childress
finally say that he is kicking around suing NASCAR for
the things that they said in private conversations. Dan, I
don't know about you, but it seems to me that
a lawyer would say to them, I wouldn't bother with

(17:06):
something like this because it was all done privately?

Speaker 8 (17:09):
Is that mine just defamation?

Speaker 9 (17:12):
I mean, you almost have to be it's public now
because it's part of the court case. But you know,
somebody's text message on a phone that was privately between
two I'm not sure you'd have. I'd be very hard
to prove that, I think. I mean, I get how
defamation works and all that, and he ticked off what
they said about you. But unless you did it, you know,
in a in a public setting, which they really didn't.

(17:33):
I mean, the only reason it's in the setting now
is because it's part of this court case. I'm not
sure how much you weight that would have. But it
makes good headlines when you know they say bad things
about you, say, oh yeah, well I'm thinking about seeing
them and just to kind of get it going and
kind of throw some back.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Yeah DD. So it came out this week on This
is an interesting little side kidbit the same judge Kenneth Bell.
This is the guy that's gonna preside over the NASCAR
twenty three eleven trial. He's going to also hear the
trial where Kyle and Samantha Bush are suing Pacific Life

(18:08):
for I don't know, mismanagement of their funds. I guess
that's what the well, I don't even know what that
term is, but there was one of the Pacific Life
agents cost them lots and lots of money, which I
don't know if we've even heard that thing. But it's
the same judge it's going to do both cases. Must
be the local federal magistrate, Dan right, I mean that's

(18:32):
how this works.

Speaker 9 (18:33):
I mean they get assigned cases. I mean he just
seems to pick up the ones involved in racing.

Speaker 8 (18:38):
I guess, I know.

Speaker 9 (18:39):
Have you seen the exhibit list that they listed for
each side. You know, the team's put theirs out and
NASCAR put theirs out. The teams have like eight hundred
some exhibits and NASCAR's got like nine hundred some things.
There's a ton of exhibits in there. But if it
goes through the list, there's like sanctioning agreements with every racetrack.
I've here's some pretty crazy stuff in there. If that's unsealed,
eventually you can get hands on that, you'd see kind
of what really went on on that. There's a lot

(19:01):
of things there. But boy, I mean, I can't imagine
it's going to take just ten days.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Yeah, I don't know why they even think it, well, well,
because they're probably good. I mean, I don't know, once
they see one or two of those agreements, you're going
to kind of think, Okay, well, this is the type
of agreement that NASCAR has with every track, then right.
I mean, I don't know that they need to prove
every track is, you know, significantly different than what they

(19:28):
get out of their deals. So even unless there's a
difference between a track like Daytona versus a track like
Kansas City, you know, it's just doesn't make sense. But yeah,
you're right, ten days seems like it's going to be
a real stretch form to get this whole thing done.
We're really happy you're tuned in today. Don't forget that

(19:48):
this podcast is available on iHeart, iTunes or wherever you download,
and you probably know that if you've already downloaded this podcast.
We'll sneak away for a break. We've got of the law.
Why there's things happening in the world of short track racing.
The question is is it happening because of NASCAR's sudden

(20:11):
public pants pulling down they're getting We'll talk about that
when we.

Welcome back to wel TM. A couple of pretty significant
things happened in the world of short track racing this week,
and I can't imagine that it happened maybe because it's
the same week that NASCAR is going to go to
court and have their pants pulled down around their ankles.
The first thing that really affects us in Wisconsin is

(22:46):
that Bob Sergeant sold everything he owns to Marty Mellow.
We had Marty Mellow on this program. He was like
the pr guy for all things Sergeant, kind of like
what Mark Gundrum did the first season. They were trying
to get on the ground. But Marty Mellow is now

(23:07):
the guy. He bought the Stars a SA Stars series,
the A SA Midwest Tour, the CRA Super Series, the
cr All Stars series, and track TV. That is, he.

Speaker 7 (23:22):
Actually owned that one already, that was his track TV
was yes, it was oh interesting.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Well, that's still a large chunk to bite off all
at once. He's going to keep his series directors that
are in place, Alex Gilhart for the A SA Midwest
Tour and Scott Menland for the CRA All Stars and
the ASA Stars. But in the meantime he's got a

(23:52):
lot on his plate. You guys, I don't know if
first why. He's a good guy, and I think this
is going to be good for the long term, Am
I right?

Speaker 7 (24:00):
I think so I think he's a He is a
good guy, He's a racer at heart.

Speaker 10 (24:05):
He tries hard to make sure all sides are heard.

Speaker 7 (24:08):
It's just to me, I think, and I say this
tentatively and not accusatory. Is that a lot of times
when people get involved with racing at that level, it's
almost like people who go to Washington, DC as politicians.
You go in there with the truest and purest of
hearts and suddenly get tainted.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Mm hmm, yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
I mean Bob Sergeant is he's a busy guy, you know.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
I mean you said all things Bob Sergeant, Well he's
taking over that part of it to asshole stuff. Bob
Sergeant does a lot of hurt stuff. He promotes a
lot of tracks. He has his track Enterprises thing. So
Marty isn't going to be doing that stuff. So Bob
just had like so many balls in the air that
he's struggling all the time. This is this is I
think what it needed so that someone can focus strictly

(24:54):
on the pavement super late model type stuff and get
that in order get the right marketing for it. Hopefully
Marty's able to get you know, a really solid top
knock sponsor for this thing so he can move it
to where we want. I mean, if you remember when
we had him on last year, he talked about, oh,
he kind of wants to mirror what Dirt the Dirt
light model stuff is doing.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
And the money they're at. Well, now that he has
full control over it, I think he's gonna have a
better shot at.

Speaker 7 (25:17):
Doing that and that I agree with that wholeheartedly. And
his wife obviously owns or he and his wife together
own that pepper Jack Kennels. They've got a lot of
other business tihs and things, so those are all things
that are probably going to be brought into the fold.
But he's probably going to need to be selling additional
sponsorships in order to keep all of those series afloat

(25:40):
because the ones that he already has in his pocket
are not going to be enough to support all of
those series.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
And that's what he did from the get go, right,
I mean, he was a marketing guy and he's the
one that was finding sponsors correct.

Speaker 9 (25:53):
Yeah, and he came up with the program they had
where they had the ten guys that brought in to
make sure they be had all the races kind of thing.
I think that worked out well, and the guys that
did the whole thing and it turned out to be
good for them, I thought. I mean, we talked to
the Krouses in Phoenix and he was happy with with that.
And I think that's a good thing to kind of
get get your names to go out to promote to
know you're doing that. So I think that was a

(26:13):
good deal he brought to it. He had a lot
of great ideas, I think, and we'll see now he's
actually got full control that he can implement all of them,
because I think, you know, not all of them got implemented.
I think some kind of got got you know, blocked
a little bit at some point, and now we'll see
what happens.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Yeah. And at the same time that Marty Mellow is
buying the asphalt stuff from Bob Sergeant, we have a
guy who's supposed to I don't really know how important
it is that this guy's good friends with Elon Musk,
But there's a guy by the name of Darryl Cuddle
or Cuttel, I don't know whose name is pronounced. He's

(26:49):
the owner of the International hot Rod Association IHR, and
they decided to start a new oval track series that
it is going to feature late model stocks and pro
late models, which of course limited late models. It's going
to run a regional schedule down south, but they're going

(27:11):
to try and keep it affordable. They're going to run
spec AFCO shocks, no bump stops or bump springs or
coil binding or any of that, and try to hold
the costs down. I just you know, when I look
this whole thing over, I thought, well, it's a nice start,
except for one thing. I really don't like a schedule
that still is regional. Why wouldn't they have snuck up

(27:33):
and done a couple of northern tracks to try and
attract not just Northern fans, but northern cars to their series.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I give.

Speaker 7 (27:44):
And that, yes, I agree with that. However, you got
to walk before you can run. And if you're going
to try to make it into a national series, you're
going to have people that aren't going to be able
to do all the traveling.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
And the majority of those late moll Fock teams are
regional teams. They're they're not printling type things.

Speaker 5 (28:03):
So now we have a series that brain knew that
you don't know a lot about, and they want you
to run all over the country.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
You can't do that yet. Now, if they prove themselves
and the.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
Pay is good and these guys believe in what he's
trying to do, then I can see them taking the
laybole stock thing on the road.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Which I'd love to see.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
I'd love to see those cars up here.

Speaker 10 (28:20):
Yeah, there's no reason why that couldn't turn into something
along the lines of what NASCAR is doing nationally. I mean,
Lacrosse has been a NASCAR sanctioned track, The Dells was
a NASCAR sanctioned track, and so was Madison for a while.
But if you have tracks that become sanctioned by this body,
then you could have some really cool things happening around

(28:43):
the country.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Well, all in all, it seems like a really nice
move and well timed. Just because this guy's friends with
Elon Musk, I don't think he can call them and say, hey,
I need a couple of million dollars to put behind
a racing series. On the other hand, you know this
is UH. I think I step in the right direction. UH,

(29:06):
especially UH to keep costs down. And they're already announcing
some pretty nice paydays and the sponsorship for the overall
championship too, So good for them. It can only be
good for the racers.

Speaker 9 (29:21):
Make sure the money is legit. That's everybody's concerning, is
you know, their first year they're going to be at
a over a million dollar loss.

Speaker 8 (29:27):
But you know, I guess it happens in business.

Speaker 9 (29:29):
I get that this guy had a was a hybrid
contracting company or something like that. I don't highlight's this
connection Elon muskt some stuff with Tesla and that's a
lot of money. Apparently has no airrors and he's just
a big race fan and kind of wants to go
and you know, you have a legacy in the motorsports.
So he's doing all this stuff racing wise.

Speaker 10 (29:46):
And thanks the question, Dan, are we going to have
electric cars racing?

Speaker 8 (29:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
I don't believe.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
I don't believe the layball stock thing or the soccer
thing is the only thing he did.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
I also saw something that he's.

Speaker 5 (29:59):
Getting in with the powerboat thing that we have up
here in Sheboygan that he's also going to be buying
one of those series and getting that.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Also off the ground. So he's going all in on
the motorsports thing.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Yes, it's all form. Like PJ said, he's a race fan,
We'll be back. Hang in there.

Speaker 15 (30:15):
Miller Sales and Service of Random Lake is where to
go for a trailer, no matter what you're hauling. Tom
and Jerry Miller have been selling trailers from B and
B Trophy and Bravo for over fifty years. Quality and
integrity is what put them on the map. On the
corner of fifty seven in k since nineteen thirty nine,
home of the number eighty nine dirt and asphalt cars
of Brad Miller.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
That's Miller's sales and Service.

Speaker 15 (30:38):
It's where to go for a trailer, just twenty minutes
north of Milwaukee. Call him nine two zero nine nine
four three five eight. Hey, Matthew, give me a hand
with this tree.

Speaker 14 (30:47):
Yeah, let's get a real tree this year.

Speaker 15 (30:49):
Hey, leave that fake tree in the box under the
basement steps this year. Get a real tree from PMF
Landscape on River Road in West End. Any kind of
real tree imaginable to eighteen feet. A huge assortment of
Christmas decorations, including wreaths in three sizes, cemetery wreaths, festive
global hanging ornaments, bows, garland, roping and more stop in

(31:11):
seven days a week during the holiday season.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Have refreshments and check everything out. How about a.

Speaker 15 (31:16):
PMF gift certificate the perfect gift PMF Landscape Supply fifty
four to seventy South River Road in West Bend, Column
two six, two three three eight eighty eight hundred.

Speaker 16 (31:26):
Yeah, our tree from PMTH Landscape looks great.

Speaker 17 (31:30):

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Jump right back to PJ, who's in the pit area
at Pensacola where some cars have already started showing up
for this weekend. This coming weekend's snowball Derby, and PJ
is with one of our I would say better drivers
in the country time of Jeski.

Speaker 7 (32:25):
He's actually setting shocks up for their practice session here
for the snowball derby Ty. I know you didn't win
last night, and that's kind of a bummer, but you
still had a dang good showing considering that that was
the backup car and you had what twenty minutes of
practice on it.

Speaker 20 (32:38):
Yeah, we only made two runs. Yeah, you know, really
it was pretty impressive. Huge shadow to everybody on my team.
You know, we have guys that come with us a
lot and guys that don't come with us a lot
here this weekend, and everybody corralled really well together and
stayed the course and did what we needed to do
to pull out our backup car. Tobes kind of handled

(33:01):
some of the rude geometry stuff. Chris change the gear.
I was swapping over all of our front shocks and
springs and center to centers and getting all getting them
all switched over to our backup car, which is our
snowball at every primary. Definitely not something that you want
to do a week before the Snowball, but we were
at the racetrack. We had invested a lot into already

(33:21):
being there and made the decision to run the race.
So yeah, I wish we had a little bit more
practice on it. But really, at the end of the day,
in my opinion, I don't know that we would have
been able to get there to where the ten was.
He was just really really stout, and yeah, just wasn't
quite wasn't quite enough.

Speaker 10 (33:38):
I know that you're saying that you couldn't have had
enough to win anyway, but you did have seven cylinders
at some point in that race.

Speaker 20 (33:44):
Yeah, we had a plug wire pop off. Yeah, maybe
fifty to go. Yet those American racers slowed down so
much and they get so heat soaked that, you know,
eighty laps into the race, I wasn't even really going
full throttle anyway, So I don't know that seven cylinders
really hurt any of our speed at all. If anything,

(34:04):
maybe it maybe it helped me keep the tires on
it a little bit longer. So yeah, I can't really
blame it on that, but we certainly had a slew
of things not go our way, and for the whole
team to stay the course and crawl together and come
up with a runner up finish is a good night
for us.

Speaker 7 (34:19):
So you had both cars kind of have some issues then,
and those are the only two cars you have down here.

Speaker 10 (34:24):
So what is the plan going forward then for snowball Derby?

Speaker 20 (34:28):
Right now, We're gonna stick with these with these two cars,
have a motor, get a different motor down here just
in case something happens to our Derby primary, We'll switch
the motor that add an oil pump belt fail, We'll
throw the motor in that car, which is our primary,
Bigley car, in case anything happens to our primary here.

Speaker 10 (34:46):
So that's the ten of plan is of Now you
don't seem very rattled at all. That just seems strange
to me, is what it is.

Speaker 20 (34:53):
Stay the cars. There's nothing that in my power that
I can do to change what happened. So it's all
about looking forward and putting our bad effort in this week.

Speaker 7 (35:01):
So you guys were not originally slated to practice today,
but you are here. Is that just because of the
potential for inclement weather tomorrow?

Speaker 20 (35:07):
Yeah, some weather, and you know we had, you know,
obviously had some issues with this car last night, our
our Derby primary with you know, going on seven cylinders,
so we really just wanted to shake it down and
make sure everything's okay so we can be, uh, yeah,
the best we can be this week so yeah, like
I said, a lot of stuff working against us along
with the weather this week, and but we're we're prepared
to weather the storm.

Speaker 7 (35:28):
You have a big sponsor deal coming up too. Are
you allowed to chat more about that at this point
or not yet?

Speaker 20 (35:36):
I was told that I can't chat about it at all,
so everybody will see for themselves.

Speaker 7 (35:40):
All right, then, I'm not going to go any further.
You'll have to wait and see. Will it be seen
this weekend?

Speaker 8 (35:46):
That is the plan.

Speaker 10 (35:47):
It will be very much seen this week kend Okay, Oh,
I like that play there on the words. There you go,
there's your hint.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
For you guys.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
I didn't want to say anything.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
I love it.

Speaker 10 (35:54):
That'sn't sure that I could.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
That's fantastic. Jeez, you know the first thing that jumps
to my mind, and he can't say anything. And if
you knew, and you probably do, you can't either. But
I know that since he's taken over the eighty eight
car and it's going to be Minards for a big
time sponsor, it sure would be kind of cool if
Monards jumped on his short track. So it's just by

(36:18):
the way, and nobody really caught that. I said that
firmly tongue in cheek. One of the better drivers I
said about ty Majeski. I saw in an article this morning.
He was described as the best short track driver in
the country over the last ten years. And if that's
not accurate, I don't know what is. So it's very

(36:40):
cool that he represents the state of Wisconsin from Nina
these days.

Speaker 10 (36:45):
And I like real quick with Toby. I mean, I know,
I'm married to him, so he has to do the interview.
But the car was seven cylinders last night for the
last fifty laps of the race. What could that possibly
do to the engine your for your snowball derby?

Speaker 21 (37:01):
Chances well, just washes. It washes, gas washes the cylinder down.
So am Giel says, don't worry about it. So that's
what we're gonna.

Speaker 10 (37:11):
Do, you know, just you know, is this your not
worried face? Yeah, my tired, not worried face. That's true.
We didn't get a whole lot of sleep, but you
didn't get waffle house this morning, so there was that
Oh my god, Yeah, he said, that's.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
All I got.

Speaker 10 (37:28):
Well, if we've been back home, we could have had
ten inches.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Yeah, listen, listen, we don't need to be talking about
this snow. Snowbody nobody wants to hear about snow. Oh
that's hilarious. Hey, that's that's a lot of work to
put in at any track. You got to be there
for a whole week, and you're here, You're a week
away and you're already going to be testing the car.

(37:53):
Are you kidding me? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (37:56):
I mean they are a bit behind the eight ball.
But and I know I'm.

Speaker 7 (37:59):
Obviously biased, but if ever there was a team that
I think can handle rising to the challenge, it is
this one. And Ty said it. I mean, he's got
a really great group of guys. Chris Johnson is down here,
and his brother Craig, who's also been a core member
of the team. Brian Bank, who does tires, is here,
and then they've got some other guys who've been with

(38:20):
the team here for.

Speaker 10 (38:21):
Maybe a year or a little bit more. So they've
got a good hodgepodge of guys but a lot of experience.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
So I want them fine, Well, what an attitude. It's
we don't cry, we're spilt milk, we look forward. And
it seems to have worked out pretty good for him.

Speaker 7 (38:39):
I think that's kind of been his mantra throughout his
entire career because if you look, Ti has had a
lot of setbacks as he's been trying to climb into NASCAR,
So yeah, you have to you have to have that
mindset if you're going to have success in his truck season.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
His truck season this year was that way, you know,
and they put it all behind them and still made
the final four, So he knows what adversity's like after
especially this season.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
And not just made the final four, damn near won
the championship without winning a race. I mean, come on, really,
that was pretty impressive. Yes, yeah, that was overall what
a great attitude, I guess. You know, if you're going
to be successful in this business or in many facets
of life, you got to take that attitude and you

(39:24):
can't do anything about what's happened. You face the other
direction and you go as good as you can. And
it seems to have worked out pretty well for Time
and Jesski. We've got some results. Other results from the
racing world, not a lot. It's that time of year
where there's not a lot, but we're going to come
back with them after we take a little bit of
a break. You're listening to LTM and we'll be right back.

Speaker 12 (39:47):
As a growing manufacturing company, we needed security solutions. We
chose Bonify because of the services they offer pricing and
trusted replication.

Speaker 11 (39:55):
What is their outstanding services support That convinced us.

Speaker 6 (39:58):
We made the right choice of Bonify.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Hey, Matthew, give me a hand with this tree.

Speaker 14 (40:18):
Yeah, let's get a real tree this year.

Speaker 15 (40:20):
Hey, leave that fake tree in the box under the
basement steps this year. Get a real tree from PMF
Landscape on River Road in West Bend. Any kind of
real tree imaginable up to eighteen feet. A huge assortment
of Christmas decorations, including wreaths and three sizes, cemetery wreaths,

(40:41):
in seven days a week during the holiday season, have
refreshments and check everything out. How about a PMF gift
certificate The perfect gift PMF Landscape supply fifty four to
seventy South River Road in West Bend.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
Column two six, two, three, three eight eighty eight hundred.

Speaker 16 (40:56):
Yeah, our tree from PMF Landscape looks great.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
And now the LTNUR President turn on that dirt with
Brian Schmidt.

Speaker 4 (41:13):
Yes, as Todd said, a very quiet week across the country.

Speaker 5 (41:16):
Only three results this week that I have will start
in Wheel, Tennessee last night at the Duck River Raceway
for the gobbler for the Dirt super Late Models and
Michael Page picked up the seventy five dollars to win
feature there.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
Everybody everybody else is.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Getting their stuff ready for next week's big Gateway Dirt
Nationals in Saint Louis. If you look, there's tons of
cool uh paint schemes and raps that are going on
all of those cars.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
If you search the internet you'll see one that comes
to mind.

Speaker 5 (41:43):
Mike Marler has his that looks like a monster truck
type thing on it.

Speaker 4 (41:48):
Really cool looking stuff.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
So got somebody's got a Dick Trickle paint up?

Speaker 2 (41:53):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (41:54):
Yeah, great from from Minnesota. Dan, you remember who that
is from Minnesota?

Speaker 8 (41:59):
That Ebert sixty car.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
Yes, that's it.

Speaker 5 (42:01):
Dan Eber, yep, Dan Ebert has that, yep, real cool
looking stuff there.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
Also last night was that go Ahead.

Speaker 8 (42:07):
Kenny Strader one.

Speaker 9 (42:08):
Jason Fegger's got his twenty five cars a Codyak Kenny
Straider type cool.

Speaker 5 (42:14):
Yes, yeah, So as you're also watching the Snowball next week,
check out the Waider National's a lot of cool stuff there.
Also last night in Asa Grande Arizona at the Central
Arizona Speedway, they had another round of what they call
the Ball Showdown and Taylor Cool picked up her first
am feature win last night with from the sport Monds
to the amods.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
Now thirty cars there last.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Night, so big win.

Speaker 5 (42:36):
She beat Chas Baca who Jas Baca won the stock
car portion of that.

Speaker 4 (42:40):
Race last night. And finally the big race last night,
the final night.

Speaker 5 (42:43):
Of the Uzak National Midgets, the Big Turkey Night Grand
Prix and Ventura. That race always used to be held
actually on Thanksgiving, but they moved it now to the
Thursday night and Corey Da picked up the ninety eight lap.

Speaker 4 (42:55):
Usak Midget feature win last night. So that is everything
we have for this week.

Speaker 7 (43:00):
They don't have a whole lot either for asphalt but
we kind of already kind of talked about it. But
the Big Lee Memorial last night at the Freedom Factory,
that is the old De Soto Speedway which is now
run by Cletus McFarland vetis.

Speaker 10 (43:13):
Which his real name is Garrett Mitchell.

Speaker 7 (43:14):
But anyway, the winner was George Gorham Junior and he
was the fast qualifier. Mike Garvey of ASA Fame was
the crew chief on that ride.

Speaker 10 (43:22):
Notable finishes.

Speaker 7 (43:24):
Ti Majeski was second, Carson Hosts of Our third in
a Richie Waters car, nick Casey Johnson tenth, Caden Quopple thirteenth,
Grant Grease Bock was sixteenth, Levon Vandergeest eighteenth, and Kendrick
Kryer was twenty second. The fifty lap non qualifier event
winner was Brazen Bennett. And that is all we have

(43:46):
for asphalt.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
Errett's a little something that we have. I don't know
if people remember this, but when Matt Kent Seths, the
last thing he did before he went down to drive
for Robbie Riser is he drove for Jerry Gunder and
he had run maybe one or two races for Jerry
when he got the call from from Robbie Reiser, and

(44:08):
he immediately left, and Jerry was left going, what am
I supposed to do now? And Matt Kensett said to him.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
You'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
I've got a guy coming into race for you that
you love. Mike Garvey took over for Matt Knsett at
Gunderman's operation. If you guys will remember those days, and
Garvey went on and had had a pretty nice run
with Jerry Gunderman over the years. So just he does
have a Wisconsin tie there, just in case anybody didn't

(44:39):
remember it. That's where that goes.

Speaker 9 (44:41):
Right after he got that ride for our gunman, we
were going to the Slayer Nationals press conference. He used
to have that press conference on Monday my Good Hope Road,
and I was I think I was driving. If I've
driven a Reliant back then, I didn't ever. I think
I had the Mustang. But there was a guy in
like a Ford Bronco whatevery stop light we get, we'd
see each other.

Speaker 8 (45:00):
I'm like, why is this guy racing me? All the time?
Every lightly HAMMERT, Hamert and HAMMERT.

Speaker 9 (45:04):
And often the guy pulls in the in the parking
lot where I'm going, like, oh, who's this guy? Was
Mike Garvey. Mike GARVEYA if I don't know, it was
you want to let you win? That's right, crash me,
you know.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
Yeah, well you know a true racer. Why is this
guy racing me? It takes two to tangle, brother, you're
not kidding me. That's pretty good. Uh, let's see. The
viewership last week was actually up for the Las Vegas
Formula one race. Everybody's happy. It went up from one

(45:38):
point three million viewers last year to one point five
million viewers this year. And uh, if you saw the
race by the way, I don't know, Brian, if you
noticed that. But they were still having problems with those
manhole covers on the track. You'd think after one year
when they had all that trouble, they would have gone

(46:00):
and all welded everything together so it wouldn't have come out.
But I guess they were promised.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
The weather had something to do with that because it
was so wet. You know, sometimes the different adhesives you're
using stuff doesn't work usit the moisture. So that would
be my guess.

Speaker 5 (46:12):
Because they had no problems last year, they had problems
the first year. So my guess would be maybe the
rain had something to do with why they had it
only one problem and then it was fine after that.

Speaker 3 (46:24):
And it was cold too, I guess, yeah, rainy, rainy
and cool in Las Vegas and uh, you know, here
are these guys these Why is it that we start
that race so late? Is it so it had to
have a world market? Is that what it's about?

Speaker 5 (46:37):
Well, it was so late, but this year that was
actually eight o'clock local time, which isn't which isn't.

Speaker 4 (46:42):
Bad at all.

Speaker 5 (46:42):
I mean we have we have, you know, cup races
around here that start second thirty sometimes. So they did
fix that, so timing was a little better. They wanted
to be at night, and that's the key to make
Vegas look like it does at night, because I don't
think we'd want to see Vegas during.

Speaker 4 (46:57):
The daylight sometimes.

Speaker 9 (46:58):
You know, it's in the normal like daylight hours around
the world on the other side of the seas right over,
Oh yeah, so it's kind of normal time there. They
started at midnight that one year, and they moved it
back two hours this year, and actually I think they
did better ratings wise. Just I mean, the F one
race is going on now from Qatar and nighttime there
there's daytime there.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
Now that's interesting, by the way, for those of you
who were wondering about last night's Billy Bigley race at
the Freedom Factory, George Gorham Junior won thirty thousand dollars
for that win, with a great, great time a Jeski
finishing second and he was what like eleven seconds back.

(47:38):
It wasn't really.

Speaker 10 (47:40):
Close fuck back, but yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:42):
Eight seconds Okay, he won ten thousand dollars for second place.
That's not a bad payday for a second. I'll let
me tell you.

Speaker 7 (47:49):
Also leading at the halfway point, so there's some cash
for that too.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
Oh yeah. In fact, it was right after halfway that
all of a sudden we got this guy that nobody
really knows much about, number ten who just suddenly blows
by our own time a Jesski. Were they who's this guy?
And it turns out he's pretty damn good and he
had a pretty damn good car too. We're gonna food.

Speaker 9 (48:15):
I really thought, I really thought he was burning this
stuff up, and that was we're going to see him
come back to everybody. I didn't expect him to, you know,
pass everybody and keep that advantage. I mean, I really figured, oh,
he's burning his tires up. They'll just waiting and then
at the end it all catch him and they never did.

Speaker 3 (48:29):
You know, Dan, for one, I didn't realize that Ty
was only on seven And it was interesting what he
said that did helped him with his tire where really?
But I thought the same thing about all those guys.
They were running a pretty fast pace and yet uh,
you know, even even down to our good buddy Jos
of Bar were running a pretty fast and nobody was

(48:50):
having a problem with the tire. And it's was it
those American racers? Is that what I heard him say?

Speaker 10 (48:57):
Yep, that's what they were.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Yeah, well, I don't no, no, I was pretty impressed
with him myself. Put a pretty damn good show on
and one hundred and twenty six straight green flag laps,
and as far as I'm concerned, they they might have
been sliding around a little bit at the end, but
that Gorum had himself one whale of a race for sure.
We'll sneak away into our final break and come back

(49:20):
with the titbits around the world after this.

Speaker 15 (49:23):

Speaker 3 (50:59):
It's like a marriage made in heaven. We've got a
guy that raced out of Wisconsin for several years, Bobby Daughter.
He owns an outfit called SS and green Light Racing,
which I don't know. That seems pretty lame name to me,
So I texted him yesterday after they announced that Josh
Bulicky of Richfield, Wisconsin is going to be their full

(51:22):
time driver in the NORP Series NASCAR Olreilly Parts NORP.
He's going to be their driver full time next year
and it's pretty cool. I mean, we love Bobby Daughter
and Josh Blicky couldn't be a better young man. Put
him together. I called him, why don't you change? I

(51:44):
sent him a text, why don't you change the name
to Team Cheese and he's sent back. That's pretty cheesy.
That's the kind of relationship I have with Bobby daughter.
But overall, I think it's a pretty neat pairing. Josh.
He's good at bringing some money over to Bobby daughter,
and Bobby is pretty excited about their chances, particularly on

(52:06):
a road course. Brian, it makes some sense as far
as I'm concerned.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
Yeah, and Bobby has had some issues, you know, with
guys and how they handle his equipment. And I think
the one thing we know about Josh is Josh is
good with equipment. He doesn't he doesn't go out, you
know and intentionally wreck stuff. You know, he's experienced, He's
been around long enough. So I think it makes sense.
And you know, I hope for some success with them.
You know, now he's he gonna go out and win,

(52:30):
you know, ten races like Connor Zillis did this last year.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
I doubt it.

Speaker 4 (52:34):
Let's not get our hopes.

Speaker 5 (52:36):
Too high, but can they have some consistent runs and
you know, maybe be in the top twenty every week,
That would be that that would be something that would
be really cool.

Speaker 4 (52:43):
And then when you have a road course race, have
a chance to be you know, somewhat of a contender
during a road race.

Speaker 5 (52:48):
I think that would be a good set of goals
for them for a full season. And it's been a
while since Josh has had a full season ride where
he's been with the same guys all the time. The
Goslin crew was kind of a you know, jumping around
from riding. So let's hope this works for both parties
about because they're both great people.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
Yeah, no kidding, we all all got our fingers crossed
on it a week ago? Did we know about the
u A RI? By the way, that race last night
was a u A r Ace points race? What does
that stand for? United Auto Racing Alliance? I think does
that make sense?

Speaker 8 (53:26):
I think that makes sense.

Speaker 10 (53:28):
What's it?

Speaker 3 (53:29):
U A ARI is a United Auto Racing Alliance?

Speaker 10 (53:32):
Yes, that is correct.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
Okay, well theirs their schedule came out and we have
a race in the state of Wisconsin at Golden Sands.
It's going to be on August first. Uh did we
talk about that last week?

Speaker 13 (53:44):
Then?

Speaker 3 (53:45):
I don't even remember.

Speaker 8 (53:46):
Well, we talked it off the air because he couldn't
talk about it last week.

Speaker 10 (53:49):
They just at least it at at the Bigley last night.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Okay, So this group is coming up to race and
gold How many of these floor guys are going to
make the trip up to Golden Sands, that's the question.

Speaker 5 (54:04):
And you can kind of, you could kind of make
it a race weekend because that race is on a
Saturday night and the following Tuesday is the Dixie Land
at the CONN. So you know, now you have to
change your car up a little bit. But I'll tell
you a what it's going to be interesting at Golden Sands.
That's a four barrel series. That is a slick track.

Speaker 4 (54:24):
To see those guys race four barrels around Golden Sands,
that could be pretty entertaining.

Speaker 3 (54:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (54:29):
And the thing is, we talked earlier about Marty Mellow
taking over the ASA staff. I think Marty might be
able to, you know, work with Ricky Brooks and company
and maybe try to make something happen there for a
double that would go a long ways, and trying to
repair relationships there and hopefully get more synergy going between
the series. For a while they were both trying to

(54:52):
pee in each other's weedies.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
You certainly have a way words there, young lady, that's
for sure. Hey, there's another track in Florida. Do you
think how many short tracks are there in Florida. Well,
we have Pensacola, we have the Freedom Factory, we have
New Samyrna, and how many other paved tracks? Isn't there
one in o'calla two? Or is that a dirt track?
I think that's a dirt track at one point. Oh okay,

(55:22):
there is a paved track in Auburndale that I didn't
really know anything about. I talked to Lowell Bennett yesterday
and it turns out he has a place down in
Florida and he's going to leave there haller down here
with the two cars in it, and then they're going
to come back in a couple of weeks and they're
gonna drag it up to Auburndale and race over there.

(55:44):
I don't know much about that track, Brian, What do
you know about it?

Speaker 4 (55:48):
It's right, it'side of winter Haven, Florida.

Speaker 5 (55:51):
Where it is it west west of Orlando, kind of
west of Disney to west of Lakeland, Florida, where we
used to have a fell track there. It's most known
for over the years posting a lot of the Legends
type stuff over the speed weeks there. In fact, when
we had Ty Frederick's on before he has race there

(56:12):
in the Legends car, I believe. So that's kind of
what it's known for. It doesn't it's not really part
of the speed Week schedule, but it's it's one of
the few tracks that races I think weekly in the
state of Florida, and it's kind of a I think
it's like between a quarter and a three eight bank track.

Speaker 4 (56:28):
I've never been there, but I've heard. Uh, that's kind
of what it is.

Speaker 3 (56:32):
Oh okay, well, that's pretty cool that they're gonna race.
I don't know who else from Wisconsin is going to race,
but at least we know that those two cars are
going to be there. So, Brian, you haven't been plowing
rules while you've been talking to us today, have you.

Speaker 4 (56:47):
Oh? Yeah, I have a headset. You know they always
give truckers crap for that. Well that's what I got,
a trucker's headset. So it's hands free. Don't worry. I'm
not running over any mailboxes. I'm not running over any people.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
Pretty mailboxes.

Speaker 4 (57:01):
No, No, I haven't hit any mailboxes. Nope, Nope. It's
a complete system I have here. Technology is a beautiful thing.

Speaker 3 (57:10):
That's it really is and of course PJ. She's been
running around the pit area already a week before the
race next week at the Pensacola and the Snowball Derby.
This is going to be an active week. There's a
lot going on there, isn't there?

Speaker 10 (57:27):
Sorry, Todd, I was chatting again. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
It's all right. It's a busy week there. There's a
lot going on at Pensacola.

Speaker 10 (57:34):
Yeah, what did you ask me again? I'm so sorry?

Speaker 3 (57:37):
How many times? No, it's a busy week and you're
going to be uh there all week and how much
of it is going to be on track activity? Oh?

Speaker 7 (57:48):
Well, the Tuesday is kind of the only night off
because they can do practice today and tomorrow. But I
think weather is going to be something everybody's got their
eye on because there's a rain every day, including race day.
But this is Florida, so you could have rain run
through here and then be gone and we're all good
to go. So we'll see how that all goes. But yeah,

(58:09):
Tuesday's really the only night that the guys have off
because they're practicing Wednesday and Thursday and doing the pretext
stuff on Wednesday and then Friday, of course they're going
to be drawing.

Speaker 10 (58:23):
Friday.

Speaker 7 (58:23):
You draw for qualifying Wednesday, they draw for qualifying Friday.
Is qualifying at night, which I always thought was so weird.
They qualify at night, so.

Speaker 3 (58:35):
Very strange. How much of that is televised on floor?

Speaker 10 (58:41):
I would imagine they're gonna have quite a bit.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (58:43):
Oh, oh yeah, I believe Flo is going to have
just about every time there's Connors on the track. From
what I understand, I believe Flow is going to have
the cameras on so you'll be able to see.

Speaker 4 (58:54):
Yeah, a busy, busy week for.

Speaker 5 (58:55):
Flow with that and the dome going on at the
same time, you're gonna get your money to buy a full.

Speaker 3 (59:00):
Time right now, Dan, you better get outside and shovel
your walk. It's that time.

Speaker 8 (59:05):
I know we're going to do that.

Speaker 9 (59:07):
Look at an antry list of that snowbowl there was
fifty five cars on it, and the snowflake on Saturday
night's got seventy two cars entitor ready for it.

Speaker 10 (59:14):
Pretty Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (59:16):
Yeah, if you don't have Flow, this would be a
time to get it. Okay I missed that, PJ, but
all right, hey, thanks for tuning in. This has been
a little different this week spread out in different directions,
but we managed to get through it. We just want
everybody to remember that we race cars half doors, even

(59:37):
if they do climb in through the windows. Let's talk Nascars,
produced and directed by Dangerous Dan Margetta, are in house
engineer and website coordinator is Matt low Seats. For all
of us involved with the program, we appreciate you tuning
in and we'll see you next week. Everybody
