at the Shottenstein Center in Columbus. The Badgers with Christian
Fitzgerald flanked by Tyson Dick and Rylan Mosley, Ben Dexheimer
and Anthony Kerr. The starting defensive player Tommy Scarfoni in
goal for the Badgers. Last ten starts, he's allowed thirty

ending injury to Daniel Lodge and now the injury to
Joe Polatachuck, It's changed up once again Dexheimer with care.
We'll see shoals with Hensler, and then Weston Knox will
play in his seventh games of his freshman season with
little rookie Jack Falin tonight, but Nick Oliver running the

defensive pairs whistle and offside in Ohio State. I'm sure
he'll be changing things up occasionally. Associate head coach Todd

to play it for himself to the corner. Tumbled down,
went headfirst into the corner wall. He's fine, but lost
his stick. Now he picks it up and gets back
into the play, but Quinn Finley doubled team near the
Buckeyees bench lost the puck. It's played to the near
side and banked all the way down on Tommy Scarfoni,

who paddles it to the far wall, and then Wisconsin's
Knox had his pocket pick Fontaine to Johnson. The defense
been shot blocked by Wisconsin, and then Fontaine and Knox
collide at the Wisconsin line and the delayed penalty coming
up on the Badger's freshman Western Knox and Mike Hastings
looking a bit uncertain about these soon to be called

It was just two guys battling along the right before
the blue line. Western Knox, I think had thementum pulled
down the Uh Buckeye as he fell down himself.

Buckey's emptied their net for an extra attacker. They have
that right now with the delayed penalty, and they're working
the Pucket neutral ice when Lindmark trying to gain possession
unable to do so. Now a second try with the
help of Ben dex Sheimer, he does. But a penalty
coming up on Wisconsin and the referees Nicholas Bett and

was a highly questionable call against Wisconsin's Quinn Finley, who
came flying down the left wing and his momentum after
his shot on goal carried him into the net miner.
There was some head contact. They called it a five
minute major and disqualified him for the rest of the game.

The first and only time Finley's ever been ejected from
a hockey game penalty on Weston knocks at two seventeen
Ohio State.

Paul, when we saw yesterday again at battery penalty held
did a great job against pretty good power play that
did that second one turn the game a bit. The
major penalty and batteris did such a good job at
Ohio State even though they didn't do anything. Somehow seem
a gay momentum from that time frame, and it's kind
of when the game turned.

Yeah, the Badgers had more shot attempts on their five
minute kill than Ohio State did on its five minute
power play. Morrissey and Fitzgerald out on the p k
knocks for holding it two seventeen steal et ceteraized Here's

to the left down the wall comes Riley Thompson, big centerman
two goals last night, including an empty netter. Buckeyes played
out to the point. Carfania snaps off a pass right point.
Now Fontaine, the left handed forward immediately converged upon by Morrissey,
who gets some support from deck Seimer. Fitzgerald comes over
for the loose biscuit and he sweeps it down only

Here's done lap with some speed into the Wisconsin's own
shoals out of the way of a pass attempt. The
puck ricocheted out to the point in Aiden Hanson Buchata
down to the goal line. Now it's Jake Rossei, the
freshman right wing. Pass intended from McBrayer, good stick by

glass and shelf and it'll slide all the way to

slowed by a stick from behind by the Buckeyes defenseman. Wisconsin, though,
killed off the power play, and now the Badgers have

That one nearly a three on one for Wisconsin coming
down the ice. Just Marsey just couldn't handle them. Look

How comes owhen Mellenmacher Sawyer Shoal and Simon Tassi the
Badger's fourth line on the line chart, Adam Piedla the
extra skater here tonight, and the puck de flex out
of play fifteen seventeen to go in the opening period.

problem of late. I know it was on that Saturday
night last weekend against Penn State, but otherwise, Wisconsin's killed

they don't take or haven't taken many penalties this year.

that makes it a lot easier to have very few

Mellenbacker ran it down, didn't get a shut off, then
tried to sweep it in front of the net. Deflected

to Moseley. He'll send it around to the right point
deck Seimer. His shot missed the net. Moseley engaged with

Finley was after the pucket came out of the hands
of Thomas Weiss, the Madison native for Ohio State, and
the puck is sent all the way back into the
Wisconsin zone.

the opening period, no score. Anthony Kerr rifles a lead
feed for Tyson. Dick then went all the way to

saw that time partly or mostly because the Pelly Killer

out out to the point it comes in. Hensler freshman
defenseman bobbled it a bit, able to recover and got
it off to Finley. His shot attempt partially deflected Quinn's

pass I believe, towards Finley, but up near his belt.

Henzler knocked Gordon off balanced to win the puck for
himself when Linn Mark now protects and sauced a head
with a backhand, but misfired on Finley and then trailing
intercepted a pass and lind Mark deflex into the attacking
zone to our left. Little hesitation move in the corner
to free himself a bit. He's got the defenseman McBrayer

Thompson went around and he used his off arm put
basically one hand on his stick on his inside hand
kind of push off. I think it was Zach Shules.

that you can play it above your shoulders at shoulder
height and below. Rylan Moseley stands five to eleven and
so let's say that you can reach about five feet
high with that stick and bat it in.

on four situation that could have been a Wisconsin power

around McBrayer, a little shippiness ensued and then Warbock was

is a one goal game after Tommy Scarfoni had given
up that last goal to make it three to two
and Wisconsin empties its net for an extra attacker and
can't finish it off. But yeah, that's another tough one
to take sometimes I just don't know how to explain

of them because it was so late in the game.

move and failing Jack Falin made a nice play to

in doing his job, just a little bit of bad

some teams that's kind of their mo and try to

which are obviously tough to stop when you have all

five at Bentley, Niagara two to one overtime victory over

of the year. The Badgers had a two to one lead,
but Ohio State rally to tie it. The Heartland native

Riit defenseman. Again the Badgers, if you look at statistics
other than the score, the Badgers played well in large
portions outplayed Ohio State thirty shots on goal for the Badgers,
Ohio State had only twenty. Wisconsin won thirty seven of
fifty eight faceoffs, Gavin Morrissey sixteen of twenty. But again

the Badgers, despite puck possession and more shots on goal,
scored only twice tonight and lose for the sixth time
in a row. Only eight goals scored during that six
game losing streak, and they've dropped eight straight here in
this building. In fact, you know, the Badgers just have
had a hard time against Ohio State two fifteen and
one in the last eighteen games here at the Shottenstein Center. Individually,

for Ohio State, we mentioned the goals scored by Patrick
Guzo and Max Montes and Carfagna and Davis Burnside, who
had a two point night with an assist of the
winning goaltender Christopher every stopped twenty eight shots with the win,
everly improved his record to twelve three to one Ohio
State twenty wins this season under Steve Rolick, they're twenty

sixth straight defeat, fall to eleven eighteen and three, six
point fifteen and one in the Big Ten and currently

Buckeyes beat the Badgers here tonight by the final score
