is April Fool's Day. Now, there have been times when
real news has broke on April first, and it initially
gets dismissed as an April Fool's Day prank. Some examples
include on this day, and unfortunately these things all happened.

The murder of Marvin Gay happened in nineteen eighty four.
His dad killed him the Wild Story Wild Stuff in
nineteen eighty four. The murder of Selena happened right around this,
and some people thought it was an April fools Day joke.
Unfortunately it wasn't. That was nineteen ninety five. Mitch Hedberg

you're a soap opera fan, the cancelation of guiding Lights,
I mean, that was devastating news. I just didn't want
