May our prayers be ones of boldness and vulnerability, so that when our time of testing comes, others will see that we have been with Jesus.
A true disciple loves the Lord openly and sacrificially, even if their actions are misunderstood or criticized.
Jesus reveals how all we are rightfully belongs to God, and to love Him with all that we have is the essence of discipleship.
Jesus is our ultimate authority. When will we let go of our claims to the throne?
The fruit we bear is not merely a measure of our faith, but rather an outworking of our satisfaction in Christ, the object of our faith.
How do we know if we're approaching Jesus in the right way? Can we filter through the noise to dial into what He is truly offering us?
We must be willing to tear down facades we create to see what God is building and what he asks us to be a part of.
Whether it be expectations, prejudgments of others, or something we've worked so hard to achieve, we are often called to let them go to wholeheartedly follow Jesus.
God has made provision for our hard hearts, but we grow in our faith when we stop asking what's allowed and start pursuing His good design.
We must be willing to be salted by fire, allowing Jesus to preserve us, purify us, and wholly transform us.
Are we prepared to see Jesus for who He has revealed Himself to be? We cannot afford to hold on to an incomplete version of Him.
The way we understand who Jesus is affects our ability to have our lives molded by His.
The Lord is sovereign over all our circumstances, working His lovingkindness into our lives and through us to the world.
When we are far off, there is a Redeemer to rescue us.
When we observe our lives through God's eyes, we can see the ways that he is at work and we can say "Everything is going to be okay."
In milestone-heavy seasons, we need to be all the more spiritually awake so that we cross them well.
When faced with the hardships of this life, Jesus is the one we can cling to, and He is the one who will take us back home.
Increased distance from the Lord is never a solution for the difficulties we face.
A spirit-filled church is not the same as a collective of spirit-filled individuals.
