Today we are blessed to have a couple of baptisms then Pastor Dustin Clegg continues with the study of Romans as we look at Romans 5:1-11.
We were blessed to be able to start the service with 2 more baptisms and those are included on the podcast. Then Pastor Dustin Clegg picks up with our study, In View of His Mercies, and as we look at Romans 4:13-25 he gives us 3 observations from the text.
1) God's promises are always bigger than we can understand when we hear them.
2) Faith must be the horse that pulls the cart in the race of Christianity.

Pastor Dustin Clegg had planned a message today to continue with our study of the book of Romans, but he asked if a few of the teenagers would share about their experience at Church Camp and more and more wanted to share so he decided to let them "preach" instead. And we had one baptism planned and ended up having three! It was a great day of hearing what the Lord has been doing in the life of our teenagers.
Continuing with our study of the book of Romans today we look at Romans 4 and talk about the necessary mess.

1) The Demonstration. (3:24-26)

Today we continue with the series, In View of His Mercies, and our study of the book of Romans as we look again at Romans 3:21-31.
Today we take a break from our study of the book of Romans and look at John 11 for a special Mother's Day message and discover 5 truths that Pastor Dustin Clegg you to see if you are suffering today:
1) Jesus loves better than we do.
2) Jesus weeps with us.
3) Jesus is angry with sin's consequences.
4) Jesus calls us to trust Him.
5) Jesus takes our place.
We continue today with our study in the book of Romans and the series, In View of His Mercies. Romans 3:21-31. 2 words. Justified. Redeemed.

Today we continue in the series, In View of His Mercies, and look at Romans 2:1-8. Pastor Dustin Clegg walks us through the passage and we talk about the differences between Moralism and the Gospel.
Moralism
1) Operates out of ignorance of what is actually going on in others.
2) Focuses on the badness of people.
3) Is self-saturated.
The Gospel
1) Is based on the whole truth alone.
2) Teaches us to walk in His mercies.
3) Is always righteo...
Happy Easter! Continuing in the series, In View of His Mercies, Pastor Dustin Clegg walks us through Romans 1:18-32 and has three points for us to focus on:
1) Suppressing the truth. (vs 18-23)
2) Deliverance we do not want. (vs 24-28)
3) Inventin and applauding evil. (vs 29-32)
In view of His mercies, we have started a study of the book of Romans and as we look at Romans 1:8-17 Pastor Dustin Clegg has 4 observations:
1) We will never become a Paul until we learn to become small.
2) First, and there is no second: communion with God and His people.
3) The obligation because of His mercies.
4) The real power.

Today we continue with the series, In View of His Mercies, as we look at Hosea 12 and 13. We started the service with 2 scheduled baptisms and ended with 2 additional baptisms. Praise the Lord!

Continuing in the series, In View of His Mercies, Pastor Dustin Clegg walks us through Hosea 10 & 11 and has 3 observations:
1) Our hearts are devilish.
2) We are responsible for the hard places of our own hearts.
3) God's wrath doesn't always abandon His mercy.
Continuing with the series, In View of His Mercies, we look at Hosea 8 & 9 and Pastor Dustin Clegg points out 3 things fro the text that we have to talk about so we can be true to ourselves:
1) A God we "know" who doesn't know us.
2) Reaping whirlwinds. (8:7)
a. We should expect to reap after we sow.
b. We should expect to reap what we sow.
c. We should expect to reap more ...
In view of the mercies of God....... Today we continue in our study of the book of Hosea and as we look at chapters 6 and 7, Pastor Dustin Clegg offers 3 observations:
1) Faithful love, not religious emotion. (6:4-11)
2) Faithful love of God always translates to faithful love of others. (7:1-7)
3) Politically charged religion is not the same as faithful love of Jesus. (7:8-18)
