15 марта в Сербии прошла одна из крупнейших акций протеста. По данным МВД, на улицы Белграда вышли больше 100 тысяч человек. Оппоненты власти уверены: эта цифра занижена.
Правозащитники заявляют, что силовики могли применить на акции «звуковую пушку» для разгона протестующих. Они ссылаются на видео, где люди разбегаются без видимых причин. В МВД Сербии все отрицают.
Массовые акции протеста в Сербии идут уже несколько месяцев — с конца 2024 года. Впервые протестующие, среди которых поначалу были преимущественно студенты, собрались после обрушения бетонного навеса на вокзале города Нови-Сад, из-за чего погибли 15 человек. Демонстранты считают, что трагедия стала следствием коррупции, — и требуют отставки президента и правительства.
28 января 2025 года на фоне протестов о своей отставке объявил премьер-министр Сербии Милош Вучевич.
