13–15 февраля прошла Мюнхенская конференция по безопасности. Год назад, в 2025-м, главным итогом конференции стал разлад в отношениях США и Европы. Тогда вице-президент США Джей Ди Вэнс резко раскритиковал политику европейских стран и дал понять, что ЕС больше не должен надеяться на безоговорочную поддержку США.
Речь госсекретаря США Марко Рубио в 2026-м уже оценивают как более сдержанную и мягкую. Несмотря на это, многие эксперты и политики уверены, что позиция США не изменилась и что возврата к прежнему формату отношений между США и Европой не будет.
