В конце июня источники «Медузы» и других изданий сообщали, что количество желающих служить в российской армии по контракту постепенно снижается, поэтому власти вынуждены усиливать агитацию и увеличивать выплаты, а также рассматривают и более радикальные меры, в том числе новую волну мобилизации.
Недавно президент Украины Владимир Зеленский, сославшись на данные разведки, также заявил, что в России будет мобилизация. По его словам, Владимир Путин хочет провести ее после выборов в Госдуму, которые пройдут в сентябре.
