Bartu, çizgi romanlarını kendi yazan, kendi resimleyen biri. Ahmet Ümit'in 'Elveda Güzel Vatanım' adlı eserini çizgi romana dönüştüren, Gesar: Yokbol Başlıyor adlı bir çizgi romanı, Gesar: Tutuşan Bozkırlar adlı bir romanı olan Bölükbaşı'nın son eseri Türk Mitoloji Atlası.
Atlas, Türk Mitolojisi'nin yok edilmeye çalışılan, saklanan ya da unutulan parçalarını, kökenleri ve nedenleriyle bir araya getirirken Türk Mitolojisi'ne damga vurmuş kadın ve erkekleri, devleri, canavarları çizimlerle ete kemiğe büründürüyor.
Bartu Bölükbaşı ile bu atlası yapma motivasyonunu, Türk Mitolojisi'nin ortak özellik ve karakterlerini, dünyada yükselen mitoloji sevdasını, bilgisayar oyunları, yazılı eserler ve müzikle başka kanallara ulaşan mitolojik dünyayı, çizerler için Türkiye şartlarında eğitim görmeyi, çalışıp var olabilmeyi ve daha pek çok konuyu konuştuk.
