ضيف هذه الحلقة عبدالله حماد، الرئيس التنفيذي لأكاديمية مهد الرياضية. عمل عبدالله كشّافًا للمواهب في نادي «آياكس»، واستطاع من خلاله بناء شبكة علاقات قوية مع مدربين ومدراء رياضيين ولاعبين، أوصلته بعد ذلك إلى أسماء كبيرة مثل كريستيانو رونالدو وميسي.
يقول عبدالله إن طريقة اكتشاف المواهب وتدريبها في السعودية ليست صحيحة. لذلك تعمل أكاديمية مهد على مشروع صناعة أبطال؛ بأخذ اللاعب المتميز وتطويره بشكلٍ مضاعف، هي رحلة «لاعب النخبة» كما يصفها عبدالله، وتمر على مرحلتين: الاكتشاف، والتطوير.
