تتفرد كل دولة بفنونها التقليدية الخاصة، إذ تعكس أسلوب ناسها، ومعيشتهم، وعاداتهم وتقاليدهم، وفي السعودية يظهر هذا التفرد بصورة أوضح، لتنوع مناطقها الذي جعلها واحدة من أكثر الدول ثراءً في التراث والفنون التقليدية.
في هذه الحلقة نستضيف سوزان اليحيى، الرئيسة التنفيذية للمعهد الملكي للفنون التقليدية «ورث»، الذي أخذ على عاتقه حفظ هذا التراث والعناية به وتعليم فنونه للأجيال القادمة.
نسألها عن بدايات المعهد الملكي، لماذا من المهم توثيق التراث والفنون التقليدية؟ كيف كان مشهد هذه الفنون قبل الحراك الثقافي؟ وكيف تغيّر اليوم مع العناية المؤسسية له؟
تحدثنا عن رحلة الطالب داخل المعهد. تقول سوزان إن هناك حرف تتطلَّب أن يعيش الطالب مع الحرفي حتى يتقن الحرفة بالكامل، فهل ثمّة فرص حقيقية لخريجي المعهد؟ ما الجدوى من تعليم هذه الفنون؟ وما أبرز العلامات التجارية وقصص النجاح التي خرجت منه؟
