Александр Борзенко отправился с Петей в путешествие по Сардинии. По дороге у них перестала заводиться машина, но на этот раз обошлось без домкрата. Кроме того, они почти заехали на территорию военной базы, почти нашли адуэнову чайку и почти изучили историю Сардинии. Но главное — обнаружилось, что ездить со взрослым сыном это совсем не то же самое, что с маленькими детьми. Для сравнения: Владимир Цыбульский жалеет, что Соня мало что помнит из их совместных поездок, а Юрий Сапрыкин надеется, что Лёва забудет про их несостоявшееся путешествие.
