How in the world is at already the end of
September we only have three more months left of twenty

Should probably that probably put it in perspective how quickly
things have gone by. I mean, look, time's actually the
most consistent thing we have, never changes, right, there are
three hundred and sixty five days in a year, seven
days in a week. But I cannot believe were we
were rounding out the final quarter or I guess the
third quarter. As we enter the final quarter of twenty
twenty five, and we are. We are ending September with

warm weather that has been here and I'm sure many
are enjoying the final I mean, hopefully for me in
my opinion, hopefully it's the final day of this warm weather,
but yeah, going to be another warm day today. Yesterday,
I believe the high I think it got up to
eighty six degrees, which is, I believe substantially higher than
the average. So if you are somebody that enjoys warm

weather and you won it three hundred and sixty five
days of the year, then I guess you are enjoying
this all right. So some news yesterday out of GE
there are one hundred and fifty employees here at GE
in Louisville that are going to lose their job over
the immigration status. So I guess it's roughly one hundred
and fifty employees at the GE Appliance Park here in

town have lost their jobs after federal authorities ruled they
could no longer legally work in the US. The company
confirmed the layoffs, which impact about two percent of its workforce.
So most of the affected workers were part of the
CCHNB program, which was a Biden era humanitarian parole policy
for migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. The Trump

administration into the program in June, calling participants quote poorly
vetted aliens and instructed them to self deport. G says
non workers have already been rehired after resolving their status,
and the companies built in staffing buffers have minimized disruptions
on the production line. So it doesn't sound like this
has made a real big impact on the on the

actual production at GE at this point, but I'm sure
eventually it will when you talk about one hundred and
fifty employees roughly no longer going to be there. So this,
this is what I'm curious about if you're if you're
one of these individuals that was here as part of
the CHNV program, the Biden humanity Yeah, the Biden era
humanitarian parole policy. Was this on your radar? Meaning did

you did you expect to be here a certain amount
of time? Did you hope that it would be a
permanent thing? And that's one of those things that you know,
I can't I can't relate to.

I don't. I don't know of anybody.

That that that that showed up here to participate in
one of these programs and and and be employed here
in America. If you have the again, I just I'm curious,
is the expectation, Okay, this is the exact amount of time,
I'm going to be here and you know, once it's over,
I'm out of here.

Just get here and then try to stay as long
as you can by any means necessary. And I'm sure
everybody's situation is different, but yeah, one hundred and fifty
employees at ge Appliants Park, roughly we are out of
a job. But to hear that that's just two percent
of its workforce at the Appliance Park does speak to
just how many folks here in the Kentuckian area work

the least. I mean this guy who went viral over
the weekend for making sure after Louisville threw a pick
six to Pittsburgh that he got the ball back from
the Pittsburgh player because that was one of Louisville's balls.
Didn't realize it was that big of a deal. But

you can also respect somebody saying, look, I got one
job to do. I'm out here making sure that the
ball we bring to use. When we have the ball
on offense, that football that's ours, we take it home
with us. And again, you only end up in a
situation where you have to worry about that, you know,
when you throw it to the other team. But this
young man got some praise from Jeff Brom yesterday. I
thought it was really interesting to hear coach Brom talk

about how regardless if you're here on the field as
a starter or a reserve or somebody who's part of
the manager crew that is in charge of the balls
at road games, you know, everybody plays their own role.

played any competitive. Sports in, FACT i only played one
sport growing, up but it was a big part of my.

is the camaraderie of being a part of a, team
and of course just. COMPETING i think competition is, healthy
and you can still find ways to be, competitive even
with yourself when you're not playing.

ATTENTION i, MEAN i don't Think i'm exaggerating to say
that it's gone. Viral but THE u OF l, manager
WHO i guess works specifically with the running back group
at u OF, l his name is. Me i'm looking
at His twitter here And i'm SURE i can PULL
i THINK i know his, name AND i don't want
to get it. Wrong but you've probably seen this young,
man not only from the clips that surface From saturday's

game where he was tussling with The pittsburgh defensive player
who got a pick six Against, louisville.

But he since MADE i, mean he's appeared on many different. Shows.

Podcast yesterday he was on The Barstool sports get up
show that's now ON fs, one just kind of talking
about his you, know his perspective of what. Happened and
yesterday you Heard Jeff brom talk about it a little.
Bit and it's just cool to, see because this is
an example of somebody that you know is there to

do a. Job he's, not he's not wearing a, jersey
he doesn't play for the, team but he's there and
he has one job to, do and that is to
make sure that the footballs That louisville brings with them
they get those, back WHICH i DIDN'T i never thought about.
It but if you are somebody that is on the,
road you can bring your own ball and play with.
It and of Course i'm sure the home team they've
got the ball they want to. Use so the situation

is only going to happen, if in, fact a turnover
happens like, this and that's what happened When Miller mass
threw a pick, six and of Course pittsburgh is. Celebrating,
however that ball belonged To louisville and this guy wanted
to get it back and he did exactly. That and
it was cool yesterday to hear to Hear Jeff brom
talk a little bit about a little about a little bit.

it was enjoyable to see someone fight for our ball,

touchdown especially with the energy and enthusiasm he. Had and

play and he wanted to win as much as any of.
Us and he's been with us for a long time.
Now and all those guys play a role and they're
fun to be, around and all those those ball guys
and equipment guys love football and they wish they were

stood up for the cards and we're proud of.

three or four footballs to them throwing it into the,
stands and so our boss edcom he had made a
big emphasis on making sure that we get those footballs.
Back AND i wasn't really trying, To LIKE i, SAID
i wasn't trying to start a commotion or. ANYTHING i
was just trying to do my. Job and so after you,

know number, three he had made a great. PLAY i,
mean he had made a Great i'm running down the
sideline And i'm just waiting for him to get to the.
Sideline he walks right past. ME i knocked the ball
out for a quick, second AND i have it in my,
hand and the next thing you, KNOW i just feel
arms and everything just on, me grabbing, me And i'm,
like what is going. On i'm trying to move. Around
i'm trying to get out of, there and then they're
they're grabbing me and then he throws it into the.

Stands AND i just at that, POINT i was just like,
okay like it is what it. Is but in my
MIND i was thinking like if we win this, game
like this will be. Fantastic great if we win this.

Idea, honestly LIKE i can tell you, THIS i did
not think this is going to go. VIRAL i was

Here i'm not a Big halloween guy as far as
just it's never been you, KNOW i could take you

That i've got kids and they're getting older and they

Seemingly this time of, year AND i know my kids
are excited about getting Their halloween costumes, ready but they
seem to, think and this is this is their mother's.

things because whenever they were a little bitty she wanted
to MAKE i mean she we went to PROBABLY i don't,
know four or, five maybe six Different halloween things rather

it be a trunk or treat or A halloween party
at their school or. Daycare AND i know for my,
DAUGHTER i think she was a different thing every. Time
and my wife just loved getting as many costumes as.
Possible well now that's not as, doable so my kids
don't realize you can't be five different. THINGS i don't,
know maybe she will get them all different costumes And
i'm gonna be. Wrong but, anyways here are some Popular

trend and one of them Is stitch From leelo And,
stitch riding the wave of the live action release that

halloween from The minecraft, game Also Super Mario, Brothers sonic The.

sure that's not, cheap but clearly they're able to make
a lot of, money and they'll do it once again
this year because parents are going to want to get
their kids whatever costume they. CAN i remember dressing up
For halloween and going trick or treating WHENEVER i was
WHENEVER i was a little.

My mom put me in WHENEVER i was too young to,
remember like whenever she would have to like help me
go trick or, treating but WHEN i would go as

i still went with like my mom and and it

don't remember any context of the show anything about it at,
all but just remembering if it was ON i was in.
Heaven and then also one YEAR i dressed up as
a a professional. Wrestler do you know who the wrestler's sting?
Is IF i saw his, face MAYBE i painted my

face and it didn't go. WELL i didn't LOOK i
THINK i did it, myself which would explain why it
looks so. Bad but ONCE i got, older AND i
guess this is probably probably still the case with some.
Kids it's no longer about. Costume it's just about getting
as much candy as you. CAN i, mean it's still
THE i, Mean i'm sure my kids are gonna want
to get as much candy as, possible but they're still
young enough to where they're really excited about what they

can dress up and what they can.

are Giving democrats last chance to support their plan TO
i guess keep the lights. On but inside the capital
certainly seems like hopes for a deal are fading, fast
and as you could expect in situations like, this it's
just going to be finger pointing the blame, game and

that really shouldn't surprise. Anyone but while these two are at,
it pointing, fingers seemingly not really wanting to work with one,
another And i'm sure both have good, reason at least
in their mind why they're not going to, budge and
it certainly sounds like there's no real sign of either side.
Budging it is going to impact every day, people, Right

so each side, is you, know spending their. Narrative republicans,
are you, know are basically betting The democrats will take
the blame for Demanding obamacare subsidies in the. Deal democrats
believe voters will Fault trump and THE gop for not,
negotiating but again while they while they, fight and again

not to act like it's not important to to to
get this. Right as far as moving, FORWARD i, mean
it's not just it's not just. Anything, however it impacts
a lot of people as far as missing. PAYCHECKS i,
mean we're less than a day away from a government,
shutdown and if that, happens the fallout's gonna hit. Fast
federal workers will get, furloughed services will be. Slowed it

certainly can't help the. Economy and when you've got folks
that work for let's, see you, know border, patrol air traffic, controllers,
MILITARY i, mean these are the kind of jobs that
could that could have you, know a loss of a.
Paycheck and LAST i, check this isn't a good time
for a lot of folks with the economy to lose

h to go without a. Paycheck now, AGAIN i guess they.
Could they could potentially get that pay back whenever things get,
settled but with how how how divided we are seemingly right,
now if this does end up, happening which it sounds
like THEY'RE i shouldn't, say the expectation is but, AGAIN
i think hopes for a deal are are not. Great

and if in fact there's not a deal, done how
long this lasts IS i guess anybody's anybody's. Guests so
when you when you when you think about this as,
well you, know doesn't impact me out of, sight out of, mind.
Unfortunate But i'm just gonna go on with my. Life
it doesn't impact my day to. DAY i get it
because people are worried about things they can, control right

if if they're not impacted by it, directly it makes
total sense to just continue to be absorbed by your,
world right like your, responsibilities your, job your, kids that
kind of. Stuff but there are many people who this
will impact and, that's, uh that's unfortunate to say the.
Least so, again essential workers can be furloughed without pay

here and, UH i guess essential workers could still, report
but without guaranteed. Paychecks which that's that's that's not ideal
for a lot of. People but when you think about government,
services we've got national, parks passport. Processing if you're looking
to get a small business, loan that could be held
up during this. Time SO i will Admit i'm someone

that it doesn't seem like it's going to affect me,
directly at least as far AS i, Know but there
are many that it will affect and they have no.
Control and that's a tough, feeling right knowing you have
no control over it at.

services could be suspended or slow depending upon how this plays.
Out so there's certainly going to be some ripple. Effects and,

there's a whole lot of optimism for that, happening at
