Speaker 1 (00:00):
Of since E three sixty here every show at ESPN
fifteen thirty dot com d.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Do you think that was AI or you think somebody
made that.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
I think somebody made that.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
It's a lot of work. If somebody made that, like,
it's a pretty good production quality.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
That is, it is well done.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's very well done.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Shall we begin?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Just a reminder. If you're gonna leave a talk back,
let's keep it to sports. If you want to leave
a note for Tony, let's do that. We're we're playing
nice today. Okay, we're we're we're coloring within lines because
we don't want to get Drew in trouble. So do
this for Drew, please please, all rights get to the

(01:08):
talk taks. Here we go.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Hey, it's Jim and Milford. I wanted to give a
little bit of my listening background. I would say probably
for fifteen years I listened to Bill Cunningham. But when
the Bengals became really, really good about three four years ago,
I started listening to this show because of the Bengal coverage,
and I fell in love with Tony and his personality

(01:32):
and Audie. Yesterday's news actually burned my chest all day
long ahead anxiety so I'm really gonna miss.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Him same same. I was mad all day yesterday as
mad as a hornet for a while yesterday.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
Hey, guys, super bummed about the news about Tony.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
But I have a question for Chod.

Speaker 7 (01:56):
If the Bearcatch.

Speaker 8 (01:58):
Tournament this year, what's gonna happen with Wes Miller.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I love it when Xavier fans think they're funny, like
I've all the first time I've been called Jod very original.
I don't know he's still gonna have a hefty buy out.
I don't think you see has a lot of money.
I'll say it's probably in a similar situation that I've
talked about with Scott Sidderfield. I think things would have
to be really bad, and I don't think they're gonna

(02:27):
be really bad. So I don't see a world where
Wes isn't here next year unless things get good Major
Le's House.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
What's up, fellas Joe in Baltimore. I'll be quick about this.
I just would tell Tony often, man, I love you
all show. I really hope to hear it again. That
was the best part of my work day. I'd sit
here at the time we just go by, listen to
you too, and out some way or another, we get

(03:05):
the show back.

Speaker 9 (03:08):
Who da.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Whod Chad?

Speaker 10 (03:14):
Always getting to hear you. Been very pleasantly surprised with
how good You See is played this year. Phenomenal. I
tell you it's sad about Tony. I think that this show,
with the talkbacks, it was very organic, very different in
the sports world. Unique and good luck to Tony.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Well said loud talkbaut Guyea.

Speaker 11 (03:40):
Indeed, and that was kind of what I talked about
at the top of the show, was how unique this
it's a community, this community is and.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
I think that's just a really really cool part.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Just it's not something that happens a lot in radio,
right and to see it it built the way here
it was organically was awesome.

Speaker 8 (03:58):
Hey, Tony, I hope this message finds you. I really
hope you come up with a podcast something along the
lines of like a Dan Patrick where you do three hours,
hopefully between twelve and three. I used to look forward
to this every day to get my Reds and Bengals
and Cincinnati talkin. I live in Florida, and I looked
forward to it because your delivery, your mannerisms, your personality

(04:23):
to talk about different things other than sports, was great and.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I missed that. Yep.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Hey, Chad Marcus from the Grove.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I asked Tony this question on Sunday.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
Now I want to ask you.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Obviously it's not basketball related because I saw your tweet
about the rivalry rankings that came out and that was
just utter, just a failure on that list that not
have uc xavior. But in football, who do you think
is UC's biggest rival?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
It's right now it's UCF, and I think as organically
as they get into the Big twelve, I could see
it being West Virginia. More as if West Virginia gets
things back on track and Cincinnati gets it rolling, like
that is an old rivalry that got shelled. The two

(05:20):
schools are close, like, I could see it very much
being UCF. If both teams continue their upward trajectory, I
could see it being like an Iowa State long term,
I think that one's got a chance to get a
little spicy. Iowa State recruits Cincinnati a lot. I think

(05:41):
the two teams want to play a similar style football,
so I could see that, But I think right now
it is UCF. It's been ten years. Every year that
these two have played, they have both been really good
in that time span. They have both had their downturns
in that time span, but there's been a lot of
really good games over the past ten years.

Speaker 12 (06:04):
Chad and Drew Bloomer drew from South Bend. The Flacco trade,
I feel that that was just kind.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Of a push.

Speaker 12 (06:12):
We got a sixth round, we give up a fifth round. Yeah,
got a quarterback with an arm and so savvy. I
think that's good. We were shooting for a middle of
the road defense. Well, with this thing, these things occurring
with Burrow, he needed this defense to be great. And
nothing but love for Tony Pike.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Good luck to your brother, appreciate it.

Speaker 9 (06:37):
I think one huge rationale for Flack o'heil Mary is
Green Bay. He started against three or four weeks ago,
and then in Pittsburgh. He knows them better than anybody else.
He's played so many games against them. Just manage the
game against the Jets and the Bears get back to
Pittsburgh and New England, and then let's see what happens
after that stretching games.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I don't disagree there. I think there's like I said,
I think Flacco was surprising when you heard it, but
the more you looked at it, the more it's like, okay,
like I get it. I can see where some of
the logic, some of the rationale is now terrible offensive line,
quarterback that can't move, that's that, that's one plus one
equals three. But there are other parts of it that

(07:19):
makes sense.

Speaker 13 (07:21):
First time, long time, TD one five. It's been a pleasure,
not super upset, because I understand one door closed or
anothering can open. You definitely land on your feet.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
How good day was.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Look, Tony's gonna be fine to be dead everybody. He's
still with us. He's and he's and he's really freaking
good at this, like annoyingly good at this. At times,
He'll be fine.

Speaker 14 (07:50):
Hey, guys, Jeff and Richmond. Jeff, love you guys for
carry up the torch. I know it's very difficult. Love Tony,
love everything he stood he did. Excited that he'll be
doing the bear Cats broadcast moving forward.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Hey, I had a.

Speaker 14 (08:08):
Quick question about the Bengals. Do you feel like Zach
Taylor feels that he's off the hot seat now that
they signed plac Ill. He seemed really comfortable yesterday.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
I don't know how you can feel comfortable that that
things are fine, like they've got it. They were embarrassed
for two and a half quarters, two games and three
quarters with Brownie embarrassed like just dreadful football if you
get that. Even with Joe Flacco, Zach's still on the

(08:44):
hot seat. Like, I don't think that changes, agreed, Towny
snackhead Jaed Drew. This is Garth Brooks. Garth Tony, You're
not only a Hall of famer on behind the mic,
but you're a Hall of fame human being as well.

(09:05):
I wish you the best. Is there any better nickname
than Derth Brooks? Like outstanding? Southstanding?

Speaker 15 (09:17):
Hey guys, it's Brandon from Indy.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Hopefully you guys are doing well.

Speaker 15 (09:20):
As far as I will say, as far as Tony's concerned,
I understand things happen.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
I just don't agree with it.

Speaker 15 (09:26):
It's not fair that you have a job one day
and you wake up the next morning and it's gone.
So I really hope Tony will find something else, and
I'm sure he will. We're definitely going to miss him.
I wonder who's going to do the Bearcat games because
he did a great job. Kelly concern. I just don't
think they will beat the Packers this week. I don't
think they're good enough, So we'll see.

Speaker 11 (09:46):
I don't think they are either. He is still doing
the UC broadcast. Yeah, so you will still hear them
if you tune in to Dan Horden Moe on Saturdays.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Still catch Dowhead and repping in Mattie. I here, honey,
hot zone.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
In music.

Speaker 16 (10:03):
All right, you know what it is. It's gangst the
bat with Chad in the house. You see football coach
Sat turned the temperature down by a little bit. Real talk,
b U c F. Now you got me convinced. Here
you see basketball Wes. Real man, Let's just cut to
the chase, no n I T, no CB, whatever it is.
Get to the tournament, tournament and make a run. All right,
that's important this year for you Bengals. I think they're

(10:25):
gonna beat Green Bay.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Confidence.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
They got that good, good out in Arizona, right, that
good good. What I'm most.

Speaker 7 (10:36):
Interested to see in the Joe Flacco situation is.

Speaker 17 (10:39):
How well the line blocks for him. Everybody keeps saying, oh,
you can't throw from your back, man, this line's terrible. Well,
let's just see how Joe puts everybody in place to
make the blocks that they need. To block, because this
dude's seen every defense from here to Los Angeles, so
it doesn't matter. He's gonna know where to put these
guys in place, and all of a sudden, everybody's gonna say,

(10:59):
oh my god, they're blocking so much better for Fluggo
than anybody else.

Speaker 11 (11:03):
Why.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I mean, I get where you're going. I don't think
that it's right, but we'll see. We'll see.

Speaker 18 (11:14):
Up guys, Big Kahuniah Kentucky. I mean, Skinny says this
is probably the best duo or offensive weaponry that Flacco's had.
I mean, shouldn't it be. I mean, it's the highest
page duo receivers. I mean, it's supposed to be the
next Chris Carter, Randy Mark Clayton, Mark Dooper. I mean,
these guys are supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
To cast me out, they better be.

Speaker 18 (11:36):
I mean, by farther under achieving today we're getting all
that money.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I mean, you know, but I mean, heck, they better be.
They can't throw it to themselves. I'm sure they'd like to.
At some point over the past three games have had
the opportunity to throw it to themselves. Go watch. There
was a guy that used to work here that does
some videos on Twitter and go watch and you'll see

(12:02):
it wasn't their fault that they weren't getting the ball.
It was that Jake Browning was awful. So well see.
I hope it gets better with Lacco. I genuinely do.

Speaker 7 (12:13):
I think you're doing a great job. Chad, thank you.
Part goes out to Tony. Sucked that the Reds couldn't
pull it off. My son and me are really looking
forward to UCF. Balls are in the air.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Should be a fun one seventy three degrees in sunny Saturday. Drew, Oh, can't.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Wait, waits, that's what you're looking for.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Pad feels your old pal herb Oh, justin Herbert.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
Mommy, you stay strong now.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I remember years ago, because.

Speaker 15 (12:49):
I'm really old, when Paul Brown and Mike Brown try
to get Bob Trumpet removed five, I mean removed from.

Speaker 16 (12:56):
The f quite some time.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
What goes around comes room. Something's rotten and Denmark talkback us.

Speaker 11 (13:07):
I give that Herbert impression about a six point eight
out of ten.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
It's solid. It's solid.

Speaker 19 (13:11):
Yeah, man, I feel like a child that heard his
parents are hitting divorced yesterday. What I heart and I
hate that, But you know, mo made a good point.
He said, these radio stations, these corporations, depend on the
loyalty of the listener, and then they go around and

(13:33):
they stab the things that make that listener loyal in
the first place.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
It's a paradox.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
And I don't know.

Speaker 19 (13:41):
Man, it messed up.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
It's yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 20 (13:46):
Hey, we are very spoiled to have great personalities and
talk radio here in the Cincinnati area. Traveling the country,
there's not many markets like this one year love here,
Antonio naughty every day. Tony does a great job on
the broadcast. But you see right now, I hope mister
Kelly gets well and Tony's gonna find a great place

(14:07):
to land.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
I'm sure of it. Hey, Will was he talking about us?
Were we included in that?

Speaker 5 (14:13):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
I would?

Speaker 3 (14:14):
I think so?

Speaker 11 (14:15):
Okay, I think we do count as great sports personalities
in this in this city.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
According to that talkbacker. You'll take his word for it.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah, I'm gonna take him out his word, all right.

Speaker 21 (14:23):
Last one, Okay, it's the paintball googu here. And I've
got a personal message for Tony Pike and it's a
twist off of what I usually say. But brother, I
want you to stand proud, keep loud, and name true.
I'll see you down the road.

Speaker 6 (14:42):
See you.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
I feel like that's a pretty poetic one to end on.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
It's a good one to end on. Look, I thank
you all.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Yep, well done, everybody.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
You didn't have to add it. Many you didn't have
to like, not too many on the cutting room floor.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
Many.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Okay, good you guys completed the assignment. You colored with
the lines. You get a an A minus since Drew
had to leave a couple by the way. Yeah, now
it's still an A. It's an A.

Speaker 11 (15:07):
That's right, we'll take I didn't have many of those,
so look like when we'll see when we get them.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
When I was young and a like, that was a
much smaller target to hit than now. Yep, like all
the way down to ninety like you get an A
like it was like ninety like ninety four and up.
It had to be in my day and age back
when we had to walk uphill both ways, barefoot in
the snow. All right, let's take a break. We'll get

(15:34):
a little football in the Natty when we come back.
